Great work, Sonja! You’ve really enhanced my eclipse season experience. Especially liked your insights regarding the Mercury Rx/Chiron trine, about what a great opportunity to embrace our own imperfections, our own wounds, our own humanity and how we wouldn’t be able to relate to a flawless robot. It has made me aware of an old wound around the orthodox Christian idea that Jesus was sinless, pedestalizing him and making him unreachable basically. Alan Watts in a youtube talk called Jesus, His Religion, points out that in the one Gospel reference where he calls himself the Son of God (John 10:36) in the original Greek the correct translation is “a son of God” but when it was translated into English (King James “Authorized” Version), the “a” was changed to “the” and “s” was capitalized. It’s amazing how two little changes could have caused so much trouble. Blessed be, Bill
Thanks for posting, Bill. Happy to hear that I enhanced your Eclipse season experience 😉 I am glad you are getting a chance to connect to your own humanity at this time. I can understand your discomfort with putting Jesus on a pedestal. If the message is: “we are all one and the same under the eyes of God”, you would think that that goes for everyone 😉 Interesting share about the Alan Watts Youtube talk. Thanks for that…many blessings, Sonja
