This week’s headline items: the Sun changes signs from Aquarius to Pisces on Tuesday late evening; Mercury’s Station ends on Wednesday (it will remain Retrograde until March 9th); the Balsamic Moon phase begins on Wednesday late morning; the New Moon in Pisces becomes exact on Sunday late morning; there will be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday early morning (for a little over 1.5 hours), Thursday morning (for almost 5.5 hours), and Friday late evening (for 26.5 hours).

Would you like to learn how the planetary movements from mid February – late March are impacting you personally? There is still time to watch my webinar about the current Mercury Retrograde in Pisces (Feb. 16th – March 9th), and the current Mars transit through Capricorn (Feb. 16th – March 30th) — as it relates to your own Birth Chart…

To purchase this webinar, click here. Before you invest in the whole 100 min. webinar, feel free to watch a 17-min excerpt here.

Star Members: check your email for the link to the mp4-video recording and enjoy watching it! I sent it out on Feb. 9th in the evening;-)

Monday, the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day. It will journey there until Tuesday early morning. New experiences and adventures satisfy a deep emotional need. The Sagittarius Moon persuades us to come from intuition and think in a broader manner.

We seek meaning and ideas that expand upon the “here and now”; we pursue truth and a new vision — the big picture, rather than the details. Spontaneity is key, we’d rather improvise than plan; this may tip into just “winging it”. We could also overdo or overstate.

Monday morning, we may need to make some adjustments. As best you can, honor both your need for adventure and exploration of life and your need to go within. You may feel a pull between introvert and extrovert, or simply fast and slow. Tune in for a moment and see if you need to take a break or at least slow down a little. As best as you can, be compassionate and kind with yourself.

Tuesday, the Moon remains in Sagittarius until…

***

ALREADY A MEMBER? Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to connect and collaborate with like-minded people, have an adventure, or simply do something that gets you excited about the future.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Tuesday early morning ahead of time.

Tuesday at 5:37am EST, the Moon moves into practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn, where it will journey until Thursday afternoon. We tend to be more realistic, serious, cautious; this can support practical endeavors and financial matters.

Our ambition surges and brings with it a need for structure and planning; when you add in the pragmatism this aspect supports, you can see how this could be a very productive time for business and long-term goals. Our reputation becomes very important to us.

As best as you can during this aspect, avoid “should-ing” on yourself. Take the pressure off, perhaps by saying “I am doing the best I can and that’s all I can ever do” 😉

Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn; it is currently transiting through its own sign, making this a great time to take look at your long-term aspirations and anything that you would like to master over the next three years. It’s also a great time to take a more serious look at our strategies for self-mastery.

For starters: Do you truly see “what’s so” in your life (as opposed to what you merely wish it to be, or what you would like it to be, or where you see yourself going, etc)? What is actually so right now? Once you have a handle on where “A” is, it’s easier to “go from A to B” — whether “B” is self-mastery or standing on the mountaintop.

Tuesday late evening, at 11:57pm EST, the Sun changes signs from freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius to creative, compassionate Pisces, where it will journey until March 19th. This brings our awareness to our sense of oneness with everyone and everything around us. We feel like sponges, able to pick up all energy around us; this also makes us more sensitive and emotional. We are more drawn towards expressing ourselves in a creative or spiritual way.

Music or energy healing gives us vitality and can heighten our own personal vibrations. We need to slow down a little and listen to our intuition more fully — if we ignore our feelings and the subtle messages we are getting, we will most likely feel more anxious and somewhat frustrated. This could also be connected to the slow pace that our body or our surroundings are demanding of us.

The keyword here is “allowing”: as best as you can, be aware of what you are resisting, moment to moment, and create some space — allow it to be as it is. Notice when you are sensing someone else’s feelings rather than your own.

All this is especially true if you are a Leo or Pisces Sun-sign or Rising-sign. As a Pisces, you will feel a good dose of confidence and playfulness in the next four weeks; as a Leo your vitality will depend on allowing things to flow and being gentle with yourself.

Wednesday, the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn all day (see Tuesday early morning for details).

Wednesday, Mercury resumes its normal pace through the sky, ending its Station — but moving backward through the sky, as seen from Earth (that’s what “retrograde” refers to). We have a chance to do some internal work on any thinking and/or communication issues that came up over the last couple of weeks about to our divine-heart energy: intuition, compassion, and sense of oneness with all there is: a lack thereof or an inner connectedness.

Wednesday early morning, we get an opportunity to be very present; also to connect with others and share practical advice or talk about our long-term plans. As best as you can, bring a sense of flow and faith to your interactions with others.

Wednesday morning, starts out with lots of energy, and brings a strong desire for accomplishment, we are invited to make adjustments and find creative solutions to seemingly insoluble situations. As best as you can, make space for pursuing both your personal passions and values, and your current long-term commitments — flexibility is key 😉

Wednesday around 10:47am EST, the Balsamic Moon phase begins, when the Moon reaches 15.5º of Capricorn. This phase lasts until Sunday late morning when the New Moon in Pisces becomes exact (more on that later this week… In the meantime, feel free to watch my video on the subject).

We are being asked to slow down and get quiet, so we can listen to our inner sensing/intuition. For some of us, this might be a stretch. As best as you can: stay grounded, take a deep breath and exhale any tensions. Rather than starting something brand-new, put all that energy into completing existing projects or processes.

This is also a great time for letting go of whatever no longer serves us. What if you could hear the voice of your inner wisdom? What might it be saying?

Wednesday afternoon: we experience a sense of maturity, and of self-commitment; for long-term success, expand your perspective around your goals — we have the courage now to make a solid commitment — take advantage of the opportunity to work towards something worthwhile.

Also, on Wednesday afternoon, we have an opportunity to soften our need for accomplishment with a gentler, more intuitive approach. As best as you can, take some breaks, and allow the energy flow to show you the way

Thursday, the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn until 2:42pm EST (see Tuesday early morning for details).

Thursday at 9:18am EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for almost 5.5 hours until 2:42pm EST. Use this intuitive time to experience a sense of maturity, and commitment towards yourself and your long-term goals; for long-term success, focus on long-term projects that require a realistic approach or a solid commitment.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Thursday morning until mid afternoon ahead of time.

Thursday late morning, a long-term, opportune Jupiter/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 10:56am EST. We started to feel this aspect from Feb. 8th on; it will remain strong until March 4th. This aspect is an opportunity to expand and ground our perspectives around our dreams and ideals. This is also an opportunity for boundaries to dissolve — to open and relax.

Indeed, we are more attuned to the subtleties of our belief structures (individually and collectively speaking), and are therefore more inclined to dissolve anything that no longer works, all the while trusting the inner guidance of our higher self.

We tend to “feel” each other on an energetic level now; a sensitive approach is therefore recommended — as we are tapping into the collective experience, it might be wise to remember that everyone is working with the current energies as best as they can.

As such, even if some of us get overwhelmed or confronted by the Capricorn-energies out there (perhaps by facing some harsh realities and inner limitations), we all deserve some compassion, understanding, and forgiveness.

Ask yourself: How can I expand my current point of view about the collective and its limitations? What if kindness towards the world would bring peace into my life and my heart?

Creative or spiritual adventures might be a good fit with this planetary connection. We may also feel the need to daydream or inspire others. Ask yourself: What if I allowed the Universe to co-create with me? What does the term “spiritual business goals” mean to me? If such goals called to me, where might I begin an exploration? What might “imaginative business planning” look like? What might show up in my world if I spent a little time contemplating or daydreaming on those things?

As best as you can, bring compassion and kindness towards your social and long-term explorations; remember: opportunities are openings, they aren’t necessarily handed to us — we have to “take” them and make something of them. Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 15-20 degrees of Capricorn, Pisces, Taurus, or Scorpio? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Sagittarius or Pisces (Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius; Neptune rules Pisces).

Thursday at 2:42pm EST, the Moon moves into freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius, where it will journey until Saturday night/Sunday very early morning. The energy of the Aquarian Moon relates to our instinct for improvement. Reactions are more intellectual than emotional; interactions more impersonal than personal. We are likely to have an increased fascination with the new and unusual.

Social gatherings, anything connected with group ideals and goals for the future, brainstorming, new ideas and methods, progress: all these are promoted during the time the Moon moves through Aquarius. Again: we have our eyes on the future — or on outer space 🙂 Personal freedom becomes paramount.

Friday, the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius all day (see Thursday afternoon for details).

Friday early morning, a harmonious Mars/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 4:10am EST. We started to feel this aspect build from last week Sunday (Feb. 16th) on; it will remain strong until next week Tuesday (Feb. 25th). This aspect signals a time when our energy level is much higher than usual — among other effects, we may find we can work for long hours without fatigue, or feel “driven”, especially in new and unusual directions.

It could be that we receive backing from unusual sources. In general, our efforts are successful and we scale new heights of originality. As best as you can, stay open to new and unexpected things. Highly recommended: Group activities, group causes and connecting to like-minded people.

Do you have your Ascendant (or one or more personal planets) in 0-7 degrees of Capricorn, Taurus, or Virgo? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Aquarius (Mars is the ruler Aries; Uranus rules Aquarius)

Friday morning, a challenging Mars/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 8:16am EST. We started to feel this aspect build from last week Sunday (Feb. 16th) on; it will remain strong until next week Tuesday (Feb. 25th). This aspect challenges us to see our own attachments and aversions as a normal, perhaps even valid, part of being human. That way, should we choose to express desire or anger (or even contempt or disgust), such expressions will feel natural and organic, rather than something that provokes shame.

We may experience situations that call forth our initiative and independence — but may not feel confident that we can rise to the challenge, let alone follow through. As best as you can, when the challenge comes: Get into action, feel the excitement that comes with stepping out of the familiar. Ask yourself: What would my hero do?

Those of us who have any of our personal planets (or our Ascendant) in 0-7 degree of Capricorn, Aries, Cancer, or Libra will feel most affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries (Mars is the ruler of Aries) Friday at 11:08pm EST, we enter a very long Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for 26.5 hours until 1:37am EST (Sunday very early morning, Feb. 23rd). Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to connect with like-minded people and be passionate about your projects and whatever else you are up to.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Friday late evening until Sunday very early morning ahead of time.

Saturday, the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius and VoC all day (see Thursday afternoon for details).

Saturday morning, an opportune Sun/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 9:13am EST. We started to feel this aspect from Thursday on; it will remain strong until next week Monday (Feb. 24th). We have the opportunity to become aware of an original or unique approach to life. Flexibility is the key to success at this time; pleasant changes may be in store — certainly unexpected ones 😉

Ask yourself: What is my unique value? How could I tune into that gently and consistently? As best as you can, watch out for messages from the Universe! Remember: an opportunity is not automatically given to us: We have to “realize” it.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 1-6 degree of Pisces, Taurus, Cancer, or Capricorn ? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Aquarius (the Sun rules Leo; Uranus rules Aquarius)

Saturday night/Sunday very early morning at 1:37am EST, the Moon moves into creative, sensitive Pisces, where it will journey until next week, Tuesday afternoon (Feb. 25th). This Moon placement often finds us more sensitive, intuitive, idealistic and imaginative than normal. We also have a greater capacity for compassion, sympathy and affection for all — but especially for those who suffer or can be regarded as the underdog.

But… that very idealism could also be our downfall at this time: We tend to see the best in everyone and everything, and when reality doesn’t match our idyllic vision, we might feel upset and even victimized by those harsh realities. A way out of this is to channel our idealism into spiritual or creative endeavors.

It’s also a great time for releasing fears — especially the ones based on a sense of separation — and experiencing “oneness”. Feelings tend to flow more freely; as best as you can, let them — in fact, “going with the flow” is the best way to go for the next couple of days. This Moon placement starts the build up to the New Moon (exact on Sunday late morning).

Sunday, the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day (see Saturday night for details).

Sunday late morning, at 10:32am EST, the Moon will align with the Sun in 4.5 degrees of Pisces; this marks the beginning of a new Moon cycle. Feel free to also watch my New Moon video on the subject here. (will be posted by Feb. 19th)

This New Moon chart has a lot of layers — and we are definitely dealing with lots of feminine energies for the next four weeks: four planets in Pisces (including a Retrograde Mercury), four in Capricorn, and one in Taurus. That’s 9 out of 10 planets in feminine signs, and that doesn’t include the Moon Nodes, which are also in feminine signs (Cancer/Capricorn)! 😉

As you can imagine, this invites us to focus on our inner processes, ability to receive, connection to intuition, and desire to contribute to life from a heart-centered and grounded place. Our emotional and physical bodies are giving us the information we need to improve our connection to ourselves and the things we want to contribute to the world; if we listen carefully we will also understand much better what pace will best give us what we need.

Since Neptune rules Pisces, and Saturn rules Capricorn, these two planets play an important role in this New Moon chart. We will talk a little bit about them in a moment, but first let’s talk about Pisces, to see what this New Moon is all about:

Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac. It connects us to our spiritual journey, as it represents a reunion with Source/God/the Universe. When at its highest vibration, Pisces unifies all dualities — it is completely aware of the oneness of all. It tells us there is a union within, that exists always, and we can tap into it….. to read the whole New Moon article and get access to all of the Coaching questions, click here (available Feb. 19th).

Do you have your Ascendant or any personal planets in one of the following placements: 2-7 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle. Intentions are best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact — and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase. So this month, the best time to set intentions would be between 10:32am EST today (Feb. 23rd) and 9:12am EST on Tuesday (Feb. 25th).

For more info on setting New Moon Intentions click here

If you live in a timezone other than EST (US East Coast-time), I recommend you join my Facebook Fan-page or follow me on twitter as I post reminders on Sunday and Monday throughout the day, and Tuesday morning, to let you know when it is time to set your intentions 😉

Sunday early afternoon, a challenging Venus/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 11:59am EST. We started to feel this aspect from Thursday evening on; it will remain strong until next week Wednesday (Feb 26th). This aspect asks that we question our most fundamental beliefs and conditioning around our values and relationships.

We have the opportunity here to grow beyond our understanding of what our values get us. Issues connected to love, relationships, and whatever is most valuable to us, can seem overwhelming at this time. This is because we have a tendency to overindulge or over-promise.

We mean well, because we are feeling quite optimistic at this time — but we may underestimate how much time we actually have, or how good a fit something actually is. Overspending, overindulging and over-promising could be connected to this aspect as well (as could making assumptions in our relationships); as best as you can, bring a non-judgmental awareness to any such tendencies.

As best as you can, weigh the benefits and limitations of any given situation or relationship (including those that lie within yourself or the other people involved), then base your decisions on what works best in the moment. Ask yourself: If I were less concerned with morality and “rightness”, what might I perceive about this from a neutral rather than a personal perspective?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 15-21 degrees of Aries, Capricorn, Cancer or Libra ? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Sagittarius (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius).

A heads up for next Monday (Feb. 24th): the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day (see Sunday very early morning- Feb. 22nd for details). The Moon in Pisces conjuncts Neptune in Pisces exact at 1:26pm EST and sextiles Jupiter in Capricorn at 2:45pm EST. In the late evening, an opportune Sun/Mars aspect becomes exact at 9:06pm EST; we started to feel this aspect from Feb. 19th on; it will remain strong until Feb 29th. More about all the details in next week’s forecast 🙂

Join me for my next FORECASTING FORUM, on Sunday, March 8th at 11:30am EST/8:30am PST/3:30pm GMT.
