This week’s headline items: Saturn and Pluto are still exalted (stationing) all week; on Tuesday, Mercury starts to slow down (station), getting ready for its 3-week Retrograde phase; the last Quarter Moon in Cancer becomes exact on Friday evening; then on Sunday the Mercury Station intensifies — and there will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Monday night (for almost 9.5 hours), Wednesday late evening (almost 14 hours), and Saturday early afternoon (almost 8.5 hours).

If you missed my Forecasting Forum… and still would like to learn how the upcoming Mercury Station & Retrograde phases are impacting you personally… feel free to watch the mp4-video presentation about “Mercury Retrograde in Scorpio/Libra, Oct. 2020“ — as it relates to your own Birth Chart…

To purchase this webinar, click here.

Star Members: check your email for the link to the mp4-video recording and enjoy watching it! I sent it out on Oct. 4th late evening 😉

Monday, the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus all day. It will journey there until 12:03am EDT (Monday night/Tuesday very early morning). We love all physical comforts, prefer consistency, and would rather stick with what we know works well. In other words: change is not our favorite thing and “rushing things” goes against our grain.

What is our favorite thing for today? It’s probably, slowing down and getting in touch with whatever delights our senses 😉

Monday at 2:41pm EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for almost 9.5 hours, until 12:03am EDT (Monday night/Tuesday very early morning). Use this intuitive time to slow down a little and focus on what’s sitting right in front of you that needs to be taken care of, so you can get to the next phase of accomplishment. Rushing will backfire right now.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday afternoon until Monday night ahead of time.

Monday night/Tuesday very early morning, at 12:03am EDT, the Moon moves into chatty, versatile Gemini, where it will journey until Thursday early afternoon. For the next 2.5 days, we like to learn, connect and interact as much as possible. “Busy” feels good: connecting online, on the phone, or sharing face-to-face, preferably multi-tasking all the way. The one thing we can do without is…

***

ALREADY A MEMBER? Scroll down & keep reading (make sure you are logged into your Member’s account)!

GET IT ALL! Get the whole Forecast — as well as other awesome and exclusive content — become a site member (still, for the price of a cappuccino!) 😉

*** The one thing we can do without is boredom: If our mind is not engaged in some way, we might as well curl up and play dead 🙂

Tuesday, the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini all day (see Monday night for details).

Tuesday morning, we feel a need to connect, interact and learn, and we also want to be precise and practical with others. This tension invites us to stretch a little and resolve it through creative solutions — the key here is to be of service, so we don’t drive ourselves or others crazy. You may feel a little scatter-brained or all over the map. As best as you can, stay flexible — and don’t be too hard on yourself or others.

Tuesday afternoon, consider connecting with others, socializing, and taking a compassionate approach toward yourself and others, especially when it comes to personal goals and passions. Ask yourself: what if taking a compassionate approach towards myself and others actually made for more fulfilling connections?

Tuesday early evening, we experience a need for inner adjustments. We feel uneasy or awkward and need to make a choice. Making this choice demands we develop inner awareness around two very different urges: on the one hand, we want to connect on an intimate level and share our deepest desires and fears with others — and on the other hand, we feel a need to be curious, in constant movement, and gathering or exchanging information / data as much as possible.

Also, Tuesday, Mercury starts to slow down (“station”), preparing to come to a halt next week Tuesday evening, October 13th (when it will begin its 3-week Retrograde phase). More on that next week…

For the next 14 days (until Oct. 20th), we need to be patient with ourselves and others — especially if there is a connection with communication or transportation, and their associated technologies. This is not the best time to start anything brand-new, especially if it contains new information to be processed in connection with intimate relationships, other people’s resources, fears, traumas from the past, and obsessive thoughts or “worst case scenario” thinking.

We might experience delays or misunderstandings, and things tend to feel “off” or stagnant. It might be a good idea to give yourself some extra time to get ready or travel somewhere — especially if you intend to use public transportation or drive (for more details on Mercury Shadow Phases and Retrogrades in general, click here).

To learn how the Mercury Station & Retrograde phases are impacting you personally… feel free to watch the mp4-video presentation about “Mercury Retrograde in Scorpio/Libra, Oct. 2020“ — as it relates to your own Birth Chart. To purchase this 90+ min. webinar, click here.

Star Members: check your email for the link to the mp4-video recording and enjoy watching it! I sent it out on Oct. 4th late evening 😉

Some of us will feel the effects of this station more than others: those of us with Gemini or Virgo as our Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant) — and those of us with personal planets (or angles) in 9-13 degrees of Scorpio, Aquarius, Taurus, or Leo.

Wednesday, the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini all day (see Monday night for details).

Wednesday late afternoon, a Mercury/Uranus opposition becomes exact at 4:55pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Saturday evening (Oct. 3rd) on, it will remain strong until Oct. 22nd (an unusually long time due to Mercury’s Station/Retrograde phase). We are better off thinking outside the box for as long as this aspect is in effect. We want to change a life situation (or intimate relationship) that is out of alignment with who we now want to be.

Our minds may feel overwhelmed by what all this means, especially as it relates to our intimate relationships or financial partnerships. Stay calm, as best as you can: Sudden or rash decisions might backfire. Do your best to ground all your thinking, connect to your body, and allow yourself to fully receive any new insights.

We are very likely to feel quite nervous or anxious at this time, as we become aware of what’s not working for us anymore — and the itch to move forward and realize a new vision feels very strong. It may well be true that something needs to change — but we must take care not to rush into anything.

Think back to late April / early May of this year, when Mercury aligned with Uranus in Taurus: What was your thinking then? What seeds did you plant, related to your own individuation process, or the reinvention of your earning power? Have those seeds sprouted? Did you have an “Aha moment” since then? What still needs to change?

We are also now more aware of what we have (and haven’t) communicated since then… Is there room for more integration?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 6-13 degrees of Scorpio, Taurus, Aquarius, or Leo? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Aquarius (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius).

Wednesday late evening, at 9:57pm EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for almost 14 hours until 11:45am EDT (Thursday late morning). Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to move things forward for yourself, especially anything connected to personal goals or projects.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Wednesday late evening until Thursday late morning ahead of time.

Thursday, the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini and VoC until 11:45am EDT (see Monday night and Wednesday late evening for details).

Thursday late morning, a somewhat challenging Venus/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 11:18am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Wednesday late morning on, it will remain strong until Friday late morning. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We may feel uneasy or insecure in our relationships — and be faced with a choice — we must develop an inner awareness if we are to see what needs adjusting.

As you can imagine, this could make social interactions somewhat awkward; as best as you can, connect with kindness towards all (including yourself 🙂

We may also have a hard time making financial decisions that feel satisfactory. As best as you can, bring a good dose of compassion and understanding to yourself and embrace your own humanity as much as possible… and remember: like everything else, this is only temporary 😉

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 6-8 degrees of Virgo or Aries? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Pisces (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Neptune is the ruler of Pisces).

Thursday at 11:45am EDT, the Moon moves into protective, nurturing Cancer, where it will journey until Saturday evening. With this Moon placement, we are more sensitive to what people say and therefore our feelings are more easily hurt — so be kind to yourself and others. Self-Care is key for the next two days 😉

Emotional safety is important to us as well; we like connecting to the familiar and we enjoy nurturing ourselves and others — home and family call to us, for instance. Make sure though, that your own glass is full before letting others drink from it; if you don’t, you might start to feel drained and resentful. This Moon placement starts the build up towards the last Quarter Moon (exact Friday evening).

Friday, the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer all day (see Thursday late morning for details).

Friday morning, a challenging Mars/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 9:09am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last week Monday (Sept. 28th) on; it will stay strong until next week, Sunday evening (Oct. 18th) — and this is the second time within two months that this aspect has become exact, due to Mars’s Retrograde phase. Think back to Aug 5th through the 22nd: What did you notice about yourself in August? About your relationship to anger? Your ability to sustain intense situations? How far were you able to stretch yourself? Again, our ambition and drive to succeed are incredibly strong now; we feel prepared to go to any lengths, in order to achieve our goals — and we have the required energy. It’s a real need to achieve, a compulsion even — we often find it difficult to stop.

This aspect could also lead to power struggles, perhaps with an authority figure, perhaps within ourselves. Problem is, “push” could come to “shove” — and once in a shoving match, with Mars and Pluto involved, we may not know when enough is enough.

Do your best to tap into the power of the love within. Find creative ways to empower yourself and others. Flexibility is key — and walking away for 10 minutes might just save you from doing something you later regret — and also perhaps from burning-out 😉

Ask yourself: Could I give myself permission to feel impatient or agitated if that comes up? Could I allow myself to feel those feelings rather than act them out in an impulsive or rash manner? What if rage comes up? Could I gain understanding of where it comes from? Could I surrender my fears about things I don’t control?

We addressed the current Mars transits in more detail in relationship to our own birth charts in a previous webinar. If you were not able to join us, and want to know how this is going to impact you personally, check out the webinar on this subject, here.

Other than booking a reading with me, this is the highest level of support you can get — and it’s only $37 for this 110 minute webinar.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 19-26 degrees of Aries, Capricorn, Libra or Cancer? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Scorpio (Mars is the ruler of Aries; Pluto rules Scorpio)

Friday late evening, at 8:40pm EDT, the last Quarter Moon in 17 degrees of Cancer becomes exact. We started to feel this aspect build from the moment the Moon entered Cancer Thursday late morning. The Moon in protective, nurturing Cancer makes a challenging aspect to the Sun harmony-oriented, idealistic Libra. This may bring challenges; however, it also energizes us to face what demands completion or change.

This Moon phase brings us closer to Oct. 16th, which will bring the New Moon in Libra. During the last Quarter Moon, we are better served by reviewing existing projects, rather than launching new ones. Out of those projects, what needs last-minute adjustments? What did you discover over the past three weeks? What did it mean for you? As best as you can, find creative solutions for anything that comes up (whether internally, or with others).

What is asking to be completed? Are you simply being asked to hang out until the consciousness upgrades are completed? As best as you can, find creative solutions for anything that comes up, whether it’s internal or with others.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 15-19 degrees of Cancer, Libra, Capricorn or Aries? If so, you will feel this month’s last Quarter Moon quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer, since the Sun rules Leo and the Moon rules Cancer.

Saturday, the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer until 8:24pm EDT (see Thursday late morning for details).

Saturday at 12:04pm EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for almost 8.5 hours until 8:24pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to find a balance between your emotional needs (i.e. self-care), versus your focus on long-term goals — or your reputation out there in the world.

You may experience authoritarian or rigid attitudes, both toward and from others. This could create some tension or oppositional behaviors — so, as best you can, remain flexible and practice self-care, doing your best to take care of your emotional and physical body — that way, you’ll remain able to stay grounded in reality.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Saturday early afternoon until the evening ahead of time.

Saturday evening, a harmonious Venus/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 7:08pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from this Wednesday afternoon on; it will remain strong until next week, Tuesday morning (Oct. 13th). This aspect helps us to embrace all that is new and unusual in romance and finance. We are ready to experiment — but not to commit. We have an offbeat, pleasant attitude and people are more willing to socialize.

This is an especially good time for financial undertakings involving any of the following: technology and the internet; metaphysics; the arts; group activities. We lose our fear of taking risks at this time, this could be a good couple of days for the stock market indexes…or at the very least, an unpredictable one 🙂

Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 6-13 degrees of Virgo, Taurus, or Capricorn? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Aquarius (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Uranus rules Aquarius).

Saturday at 8:24pm EDT, the Moon moves into fun and attention-loving Leo, where it will journey until next week, Monday night/Tuesday very early morning (Oct. 12/13th). We may lack objectivity and struggle with backing down or compromising. We all love to be admired — or at the very least acknowledged — for our greatness 🙂

So hand out some compliments — let people know how proud you are of them, tell them how much you love them. Come from the heart in this and all other things… be honest and authentic, as best you can. Fun, games and romance are a big part of this energy as well. You might also enjoy spending time with little ones.

If there are no “outer children” around, how about getting in touch with your “inner child” — it’s definitely easier for the next two-and-a-half days.

What are you most grateful for today? What would be heaps and heaps of fun? What would be so much fun, you let out a tiny squeak, just thinking of it?

Sunday, the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo all day (see Saturday evening for details).

Sunday late morning, a challenging Sun/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 9:34am EDT. We started feeling this aspect build from this Wednesday evening on; it will be strong until next week Wednesday evening (Oct. 14th). This aspect says “stretch and grow!”. There is a feeling of enthusiasm and excitement in the air; it almost seems as if we could move mountains.

Awareness is key: Be alert for undue optimism, that could lead to overextending or over-promising: As best as you can, stay connected to what’s real — avoid exaggerations, especially when it comes to your life philosophies, your long-term goals, and your one-on-one relationships.

This is a time when we can accomplish quite a bit — if we don’t let ourselves get too overwhelmed by all the thoughts and possibilities flooding our consciousness. As best as you can, take it one moment at a time, staying grounded in reality.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 15-22 degrees of Libra, Capricorn, Aries, or Cancer? If so, you will be more aware of this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Sagittarius (the Sun rules Leo; Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius).

Sunday early afternoon, a somewhat challenging Sun/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 11:31am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Saturday early afternoon on; it will be strong until Monday early afternoon (Oct. 12th). This aspect feels “internal” — inner unease and awkwardness — and we need to make a choice. Given that it is an internal issue, we need to develop an inner awareness, if we’re to see what needs adjusting.

Our energy tends to be unrealistically directed — and our sense of self may actually change as we learn that we have wrongly assessed important situations. Our self-trust takes a hit.

Due to our high ideals, we may take on more than we can physically handle — if we start to feel drained or frustrated, it might be helpful to look at the overall direction we are taking. Do your best to rest and have quiet time alongside your interactions with others.

It is also worthwhile to look for how our ideas are being received by others: Can we involve them in creating/realizing our dreams? Perhaps we are not sure whether we want to keep dreaming our dream privately, or share it with others… As best as you can, slow down: where there is spaciousness, there is flow; where there is flow, there is effortless creation.

Do you have your Career Point (or personal planets) in 18-20 degrees of Libra or Pisces? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Pisces (the Sun rules of Leo; Neptune rules Pisces)

Last but not least, the Mercury Station intensifies today (Sunday), as Mercury is preparing to come to halt next week, Tuesday Oct. 13th (beginning its 3.5-week Retrograde phase). During this intensified station phase, we feel Mercury’s energies even more strongly. This will last until Oct. 17th. Going with the flow is definitely recommended at this time.

Pay attention to anything “in your face” in any of the following areas: communications, short travels, transportation of any kind, communication devices, intimate relationships, other people’s resources, fears, traumas from the past, and obsessive thoughts or “worst case scenario” thinking. You will get a chance to re-organize yourself once Mercury goes retrograde.

Be extra-patient if you intend to buy, sell or ship big-ticket items, especially if they are transportation or communication devices like anything connected with planes, trains, cars, phones, computers, iPads, etc. Best of all (if possible): wait until after Nov. 19th, when the Shadow phase is over.

To learn how the Mercury Station & Retrograde phases are impacting you personally… feel free to watch the mp4-video presentation about “Mercury Retrograde in Scorpio/Libra, Oct. 2020“ — as it relates to your own Birth Chart. I sent it out on Oct. 4th late evening 😉

Some of us will feel the effects of the Mercury station more than others: those of us who have Gemini or Virgo as our Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant); and those of us with personal planets in 9-13 degrees of Scorpio, Taurus, Leo, or Aquarius.

A heads up for next Monday (Oct. 12th): the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo all day.
