This week’s headline items: the Sun changes signs from Sagittarius to Capricorn, marking the Winter Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere, early Monday morning; a rare Jupiter/Saturn alignment in Aquarius becomes exact on Monday afternoon; the first Quarter Moon in Aries becomes exact on Monday evening; Venus opposes the degree of Nov. 30th’s Lunar Eclipse on Tuesday morning; and Eclipse Season ends on Thursday.

There will be three Moon VoC phases this week: Monday early morning (for a little over 12 hours), Wednesday early evening (for 12 hours), and Saturday morning (for 12 hours).

Monday is quite a big day (astrologically speaking); the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces. It will journey there until 5:32pm EST. This Moon placement often finds us more sensitive, intuitive, idealistic and imaginative than normal. We also have a greater capacity for compassion, sympathy and affection for all — but especially for those who suffer or can be regarded as the underdog.

But… that very idealism could also be our downfall at this time: We tend to see the best in everyone and everything, and when reality doesn’t match our idyllic vision, we might feel upset and even victimized by those harsh realities. A way out of this is to channel our idealism into spiritual or creative endeavors.

It’s also a great time for releasing fears — especially the ones based on a sense of separation — and experiencing “oneness”. Feelings tend to flow more freely; as best as you can, let them — in fact, “going with the flow” is the best way to go for the next couple of days.

Monday early morning, at 5:02am EST, the Sun changes signs from adventurous, optimistic, truth-seeking Sagittarius to practical, accomplishment-oriented, status-oriented Capricorn. This also marks the shortest day of the year (in the northern hemisphere) and the beginning of Winter — aka the Winter Solstice.

The Solstices are important turning points that take place twice a year: They are energetic gateways for the summer or winter season to come through. Solstice Points are thus extra-potent times to set intentions and take part in ceremonies.

The Sun will journey through the sign of Capricorn until Jan. 20th, 2020. Capricorn is a feet-on-the-ground, eyes-on-the-prize sign. As the Sun travels through it, we take a realistic, grounded approach to life; we know how to do things, and how to get things done.

We have a stronger sense of society and its structure, and feel most secure when doing our part within that structure; as such, worldly recognition may take on more importance for us. Making plans for the future can be very effective right now. We are more risk-averse at this time but we are ready to work hard and focus on what is essential.

All this is especially true if you are a Leo or Capricorn Sun-sign or Rising-sign. As a Capricorn, you will feel a good dose of confidence and playfulness in the next four weeks; as a Leo, you are more cautious and practical than usual…working towards a realistic long-term goal might be just the thing for you to do.

Monday at 5:25am EST, we enter a Moon VoC that will last for a little over 12 hours, until 5:32pm EST. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to connect to your higher Self, and if possible, bring a sense of flow and faith to your long-term plans — especially those you feel really passionate about.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday early morning until the late afternoon ahead of time.

Monday early afternoon, a rare Jupiter/Saturn alignment in 0.5 degrees of Aquarius becomes exact at 1:21pm EST. The last time Jupiter aligned with Saturn in Aquarius was in the year 1405!!! As for this current alignment, we started to feel it building from Nov. 23rd on and it will remain strong until January 16th, 2021. It offers an opportunity to build long-term structures and foundations that bring about an expansion for all of humanity.

Jupiter and Saturn come together every 20 years. The last Jupiter-Saturn conjunction took place at 22º44′ of Taurus on May 28th, 2000 and the next one will be on Oct. 31st, 2040 at almost 18º of Libra.

Since this is the beginning of a 20-year social-economic cycle, we need to plan for the collective long game; it is important to look past our enthusiasm for a greater vision for the world we live in and focus instead on visualizing practical results within groups and communities, so we feel motivated to achieve them.

We will be wise to adopt a step-by-step approach to the realization of our humanitarian goals, conduct ourselves with integrity, and employ an ethical, mature, and open-minded approach.

Our inventions and unusual approaches need to focus on long-term sustainability and group consciousness. This is how we grow and expand as people over the next 20 years.

We might also overdo our need to “achieve something great for humanity” (Jupiter does, after all, represent excess as well).

Here are some questions we could ask ourselves in connection with the Jupiter-Saturn alignment in Aquarius: If you didn’t watch my powerful webinar about this Great Conjunction yet, and still would like to learn how this new 20-year social-economic cycle will impact you personally, watch my webinar “Jupiter-Saturn Conjunction in Aquarius, Dec. 2020″ — all about how it relates to your own Birth Chart. To purchase this webinar, click here.

Star Members: check your email for the link to the mp4-video recording and enjoy watching it! I sent it out on Dec. 6th late evening.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (MC) or personal planets in the following: 0-6 degrees of of Aquarius, Leo, Taurus, Scorpio, or 27-29 degrees of Capricorn, Cancer, Aries or Libra? If so, you will feel the effects of this aspect more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Sagittarius or Capricorn (Jupiter rules Sagittarius; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn)

Monday at 5:32pm EST, the Moon moves into pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey until Thursday morning. Life is an adventure, we’re more open to new ideas, and have great enthusiasm for new projects. Patience is certainly not our strong suit at this time, but we can decide quickly, and act immediately.

Our independence and dynamism are important to us right now, so we may find it hard to be disciplined or accept advice at this time; in general, our responses to others tend to be more assertive or even aggressive. If you find your foot tapping, try hitting the gym, or finding other ways to burn off the body’s excess energy. This Moon placement starts the build up towards the first Quarter Moon (exact later this evening).

Monday evening, the first Quarter Moon in almost 0.5 degree of pioneering, fast-paced Aries becomes exact at 6:41pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from the moment the Moon entered Aries earlier today. The Moon in pioneering, enthusiastic, fast-paced Aries makes a challenging aspect to the Sun practical, cautious, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn.

Last week (Dec. 14th) saw a powerful New Moon/Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius. If we set some intentions on Dec. 16th or 17th we are now ready to make some adjustments. This is a time to stretch and grow — and create some forward momentum — in fact, we may feel compelled to act, stirring up anxiety or overwhelm, so just go one breath at a time.

Remember, we’re still in Eclipse Season until Dec. 24th, and thus don’t have all the information we need to move brand-new projects forward yet. Allow for changes, remain flexible and adaptable, and find creative solutions in day-to-day interactions with others. Allow also for new downloads and for the release of “old” codes and conditioning. Simply put: an open mind and heart will serve us best (that’s true in general, but especially true until Eclipse season ends 😉

Another thing to remember: if something is beginning or ending in a way that seems organic… allow it to be. As best as you can, observe your feelings and stay grounded in the “here and now”. Connect to your intuition and inner wisdom; they will help carry you through this period. We are receiving a consciousness upgrade — that’s a good thing!

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 0-3 degrees of Aries, Capricorn, Libra, Cancer or 28-29 degrees of Sagittarius, Pisces, Gemini or Virgo? If so, you will feel the effects of this first Quarter Moon more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Tuesday, the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day (see Monday late afternoon for details).

Tuesday very early morning, has lots of potential for healing around family, the “mother archetype”, home, and our past in general. We may feel more sensitive and insecure about what we identify with, and around our ability to be assertive; this gives us the opportunity to give ourselves some compassion, acceptance and nurturing in the face of our sensitivities and limitations.

Tuesday around 9am EST, Venus in Sagittarius transits the degree of Nov. 30th’s Lunar Eclipse in Gemini-Sagittarius — and we may experience something that provides an insight, most likely around relationships. We are invited to feel into how we perceive and receive things, and to share something that helps us connect to others, rather than leaving us feeling superior to them.

Observe how this plays out for you today: Where (or with whom) are you looking to connect? What are you most aware of? You are invited to process and share any outdated beliefs or cultural conditioning around relationships. What interactions might clear the way, so you can move forward powerfully, with an open mind and clear information?

Tuesday late morning, starts out harmoniously, yet with an urge to explore something new that helps us understand the bigger picture all around. You might want to enthusiastically connect with others for an adventure.

Wednesday, the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day (see Monday late afternoon for details).

Wednesday late morning, a challenging Mars/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 9:53am EST. We started to feel this aspect from last week Monday (Dec. 14th) on; it will stay strong until next week, Tuesday (Dec. 30th). Our ambition and drive to succeed are incredibly strong now; we feel prepared to go to any lengths, in order to achieve our goals — and we have the required energy. It’s a real need to achieve, a compulsion even — we often find it difficult to stop.

This aspect could also lead to power struggles, perhaps with an authority figure, perhaps within ourselves. Problem is, “push” could come to “shove” — and once in a shoving match, with Mars and Pluto involved, we may not know when enough is enough.

Do your best to tap into the power of the love within. Find creative ways to empower yourself and others. Flexibility is key — and walking away for 10 minutes might just save you from doing something you later regret — and also perhaps from burning-out 😉

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 21-27 degrees of Aries, Capricorn, Libra or Cancer? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Scorpio (Mars is the ruler of Aries; Pluto rules Scorpio)

Wednesday at 5:51pm EST, we enter a Moon VoC that will last for 12 hours, until 5:55am EST (Thursday morning). Use this intuitive time to go after something you feel passionate about — and use all the energy and enthusiasm you have access to right now to get lots done. As best as you can, be yourself, without offending others.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Wednesday early evening until Thursday morning ahead of time.

Wednesday late evening, a challenging Mercury/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 9:11pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from Monday night on; it will remain strong until Friday evening. This combination might bring up some insecurities in our verbal, in-person or email interactions.

That said, this could also be an opportunity for healing; we are energized to move past harsh criticism of ourselves or others, towards more loving and compassionate structures for thinking and communicating. As best as you can, stretch yourself — and be open to bringing love and understanding to it all (and that includes you) 🙂

For those of you who want to have a better understanding of your personal healing journey, feel free to get the mp3-recording of my Chiron workshop: “Healing with Astrology” Click here for more info. Please keep in mind that as a Member of this online community you have FREE access to this workshop via your Member’s account (click on the “My Courses”- tab)

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point or any personal planets in the following: 2-8 degree of Capricorn, Aries, Cancer, or Libra? If so, you are more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo).

Thursday, the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries and VoC until 5:55am EST (see Monday late afternoon for details).

Thursday at 5:55am EST, the Moon moves into steady, peaceful Taurus, where it will journey until Saturday early evening. We love all physical comforts, prefer consistency, and would rather stick with what we know works well. In other words: change is not our favorite thing and “rushing things” goes against our grain.

What is our favorite thing for the next two days? It’s probably, slowing down and getting in touch with whatever delights our senses 😉

Thursday early afternoon, provides the perfect opportunity to get lots of practical issues handled without needing to stress or push. It’s easier for us to sustain what we have started now, and bring a heightened sense of commitment to it all. Make sure to also enjoy a good meal or a nice beverage during the next four hours 😉

Thursday evening, if possible, connect with people that can support your projects on a practical level, and share with them what you have going on.

Also, on Thursday, Eclipse Season finally ends. Yay! Our consciousness upgrades have been downloaded and installed and we are now able to process whatever came up in the past 4.5 weeks — and to move forward with any intentions we set around December 16th. Take a look at your Eclipse Intentions and see what calls to you, asking yourself: Which, if any, am I ready to act on?

Friday, the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus all day (see Thursday morning for details).

Friday very early morning, a harmonious Mercury/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 2:05am EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Wednesday on; it will remain strong until Sunday morning. This aspect supports a connection between our higher mind and our day-to-day mind. We are able to receive inspiration from higher places and maybe even look into the future.

We are able to communicate our vision for a better future; insights arise from these communications. Original, creative insights and ideas can appear out of nowhere; as best as you can, stay open to these unique “downloads” — they might change how you see and proceed with life 😉

This is a good time to communicate online, engage in computer-related activities or scientific projects, and also for anything metaphysical. Group activities like Meetups are great things to be involved with right now — especially if they allow us to share our vision for a better financial future.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 4-10 degree of Capricorn, Taurus, or Virgo? If so, you will feel especially blessed by this connection. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Aquarius (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius)

Friday morning, we are invited to make some internal adjustments: We may want to have some peace and quiet, while at the same time, feeling the need to connect with others, and have an outdoors adventure.

Friday evening, we have an opportunity to meet our need for material comfort with a gentler, more intuitive approach.

Saturday, the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus until 6:33pm EST (see Thursday morning for details).

Saturday very early morning, a challenging Sun/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 2:37am EST. We started to feel this aspect from this Wednesday on; it will remain strong until next week, Monday late evening (Dec. 28th). This asks us to stretch ourselves and expand from within. We might feel less confident about who we are, and have a hard time projecting a social “front”. Our conditioning and wounded sense of Self may be out of harmony with each other.

As best as you can, take this as an opportunity to make space for feeling vulnerable or emotional without seeing yourself as weak or “less than”. It is perfectly ok to be yourself and feel insecure once in a while; as best as you can, bring compassion and love to yourself and others. After all, we are all human…
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (MC) or personal planets in 2-8 degree of Capricorn, Aries, Cancer, or Libra? If so, you will feel the effects of this aspect more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo (the Sun rules Leo).

Saturday at 6:32am EST, we enter a Moon VoC that will last for 12 hours, until 6:33pm EST. Use this intuitive time to empower each other in regards to earthly issues and mutually support each other in practical ways.

Now, this week’s Forecast…

What could we achieve in that regard over the next 20 years? How can each one of us get involved and be a part of this new future?
