; the Last Quarter Moon in Capricorn becomes exact on Tuesday evening; the Sun changes signs from Aries to Taurus on Sunday late morning.
There will be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday evening (for almost 8 hours), Friday late morning (for almost 4 hours), and Sunday evening (for 7.5 hours).

Now, this week’s Forecast…
Monday, April 13th:
Monday, the Moon remains in ambitious, goal-oriented Capricorn all day. It will journey there until Wednesday very early morning. We tend to be more realistic, serious, cautious; this can support practical endeavors and financial matters.
Our ambition surges and brings with it a need for structure and planning; when you add in the pragmatism this aspect supports, you can see how this could be a very productive time for business and long-term goals. Our reputation becomes very important to us.
As best as you can during this aspect, avoid “should-ing” on yourself. Take the pressure off, perhaps by saying “I am doing the best I can and that’s all I can ever do” 😉
Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn — and it will be transiting through Aquarius until July 1st, making this a great time to take a look at our visions for humanity, and at anything we would like to accomplish long-term within our communities (locally or online).
It’s also a great time to take a more serious look at our various networks and connections to like-minded people; as best as you can, be authentic about your affiliations: Do they truly resonate with your personal vision for the future — as it stands now, rather than what it was 5 or 10 years ago? Does participation in those groups or networks align with who you are now, and with where you see yourself 5 years from now? What do you truly want to commit yourself to?
Monday morning, we are invited to connect with like-minded people, and learn something new about our unique talents or value to the world. We are better able to connect to anything that involves a long-term commitment. We perhaps might also implement revolutionary business practices or government programs that support our values and make life tangibly more enjoyable.
Also on Monday morning, we are invited to make adjustments and find creative solutions to seemingly insoluble situations. As best as you can, make space for looking into some alternative exercise programs or holistic approaches to your personal projects and current long-term commitments. Compassion is key 😉
Monday late morning, we are in invited to make some inner adjustments. We feel uneasy or awkward and need to make a choice. Making this choice demands we develop inner awareness around two very different urges: on the one hand, the desire to connect and share ourselves with others — and on the other, the need to accomplish something out there in the real world, and to be responsible and self-reliant.
Also on Monday, Pluto’s Station phase intensifies until May 9th. It will come to a halt on April 25th in 25 degrees of Capricorn (more on that next week). As I mentioned last week already, when an outer planet stations, its energy gets more pronounced; this becomes even more pronounced when its Station phase intensifies.
We become even more aware of its impact on us — and this can sometimes cause discomfort. We are being asked to hang out with that discomfort until the planet’s energy has picked up speed again (around May 17th).
As best as you can, take a closer look at whatever is “in your face” for the next 5 weeks. Look for what might no longer be in alignment with your soul’s purpose (your deep, authentic, emotional Self) — especially in relation to long-term goals and your standing in society.
Ask yourself: Where am I holding on, out of fear? What habits, behaviors or fears are holding me back from feeling fully empowered from within? What would it look like, if I was fully aligned with my Soul-purpose? How would it feel?
When we confront our fears we very often discover hidden gifts and strengths. Do you have an Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in…

Do you have an Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 23-27 degrees of Capricorn, Aries, Cancer or Libra? Do you have your Sun-sign or Rising-sign in Scorpio (Pluto rules Scorpio)? If so, you will feel this Station phase more strongly.
Tuesday, April 14th:
Tuesday, the Moon remains in ambitious, goal-oriented Capricorn all day (see Monday for details).
Tuesday morning, a challenging Sun/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 7:07am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last Saturday (April 11th) on; and it will remain strong until this Friday. What we identify ourselves with could now be challenged. This aspect forces us to confront our will, power, assertion, and authority.
Coming into focus now: the relationship with a father- or other important male-figures. We may face the need to be more independent, assertive, and autonomous.
We may alienate others with a controlling, jealous, or overbearing manner. This manner stems from a deep fear of letting go and surrendering to the idea that some things cannot be directed or controlled. We are learning to detach from (let go of) something or someone that no longer serves us — the “something” could include attitudes.
This fear may lead us to compulsive, suspicious, or difficult behavior, costing us the very thing that we hold dear. As best as you can, open yourself up to the power of love within. When you do, you will discover your own strength, and rework your very identity. Perhaps most importantly, this aspect puts us face to face with exactly what’s been holding us back from leading a fuller, more meaningful life.
We may have to make some changes or adjustments between our immediate personal desires and our long-term goals. As best as you can, be open to receiving feedback from others during this time.
If you feel pressured into doing something or you feel a power struggle build, as best as you can, get centered, get grounded and open your heart and mind. This aspect is a major growth opportunity for us: we struggle with buried elements of our personality and ego, learning to face, accept and transform them.
Do you have an Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 22-28 degrees of Aries, Capricorn, Libra, or Cancer? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Scorpio (the Sun is the ruler of Leo; Pluto rules Scorpio)
Tuesday evening, at 6:56pm EDT, the last Quarter Moon in 25.5º of Capricorn becomes exact. The Moon in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in pioneering, fast-paced Aries. This may bring up some challenges. However, it also energizes us to look at what needs to be completed — and what needs to be changed.
This Moon phase brings us closer to April 22nd’s New Moon in Taurus. With the last Quarter Moon, rather than starting major new projects, it serves us to take a look at what needs to be completed. What — if anything — needs last-minute adjustments? What did you discover since March 24th? What did it mean for you?
As best as you can, find creative solutions for anything that comes up (whether internally, or with others).
Do you have an Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 23-28 degrees of Capricorn, Aries, Libra, or Cancer? If so, you are more affected by this month’s last Quarter Moon. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer, since the Sun rules Leo and the Moon rules Cancer.
Tuesday at 7:47pm EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC) that lasts for almost 8 hours, until 3:37am EDT (Wednesday very early morning). Use this intuitive time to growth in your maturity and self-commitment. For long-term success, expand your perspective around your goals — you have the courage now to make a solid commitment — take advantage of the opportunity to work towards something worthwhile.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Tuesday evening until Wednesday very early morning ahead of time.
Wednesday, April 15th:
Wednesday, the Moon remains in ambitious, goal-oriented Capricorn and VoC until 3:37am EDT (see Monday and Tuesday evening for details).
Wednesday very early morning, a Mercury/Chiron alignment in 6.5 degrees of Aries becomes exact at 1:02am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Monday early morning on; and it will remain strong until Thursday evening. This allows us to communicate our flaws and insecurities, and thereby begin to heal them.
Bringing compassion to our past wounds can feel empowering and healing; doing the same for others is going to feel really good. Remember: what you can do for yourself, you can do for others more easily, and vice versa.
As best as you can, whatever you do or don’t communicate: cut yourself a little slack. Be open to bringing love and understanding to your communications — especially when you are feeling triggered. Being human means being “imperfect”; there is no shame in that — it is our so-called imperfections that open hearts (our own and other people’s), that create and spread compassion.
Ask yourself: Could I give myself 5% more permission to be “imperfect”? Could I love myself because of those so-called imperfections?
Double-check: Does blaming or judging myself or others for being “imperfect” actually serve me? Does it actually serve anyone at all? Could I therefore be open to the possibility that my “imperfections” — whether physical, mental, emotional or spiritual — exist to serve not only my personal evolution, but also that of humanity? If that were true, what would else would need reevaluating?
Do you have an Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 3-10 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn? If so, you will feel this alignment quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Virgo or Gemini (since Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo).
Wednesday very early morning, the Moon enters freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius at 3:37am EDT, where it will journey until Friday afternoon. With this Moon placement, we often feel emotionally detached; when we do connect to our feelings, it’s typically from a cerebral, intellectual place. We need a cause or project that resonates — preferably one where we can connect with like-minded people.
For the next couple of days, we’ll tend to be more eccentric or experimental; future-related issues like politics or education call to us now, as do unusual or even esoteric subjects like Astrology, UFOs… indeed anything from outer space. Our scientific approach to things leans on originality and ingenuity; we definitely love being unconventional.
The increased value we place on personal and emotional independence could make us come off as indifferent or cold in one-on-one interactions. That said, we can still be friendly and kind, provided we aren’t pushed into doing something conventional or unethical.
Wednesday morning, a challenging Sun/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 6:59am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last Saturday evening (April 11th) on; and it will remain strong until this Saturday. This aspect says “stretch and grow!”. There is a feeling of enthusiasm and excitement in the air; it almost seems as if we could move mountains.
Awareness is key: Be alert for undue optimism, that could lead to overextending or over-promising: As best as you can, stay connected to what’s real — avoid exaggerations, especially when it comes to your life philosophies, your active pursuits, and long-term goals.
This is a time when we can accomplish quite a bit — if we don’t let ourselves get too overwhelmed by all the thoughts and possibilities flooding our consciousness. As best as you can, take it one moment at a time, staying grounded in reality.
Do you have an Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 23-29 degrees of Aries, Capricorn, Cancer, or Libra ? If so, you will be more aware of this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Sagittarius (the Sun rules Leo; Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius).
Thursday, April 16th:
Thursday, the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius all day. (see Wednesday early morning for details).
Thursday very early morning: if we are awake at this time, we are invited to connect with like-minded people in an honest and direct fashion; as best as you can, make sharing and connecting your goal!
There is also a harmonious Venus/Mars aspect that we have been feeling since April 3rd; it will be strong until May 2nd, yet it will not become exact, due to Venus’s Retrograde phase. Under its influence, we tend to feel passionate, super-creative, and just plain energized — we have tons of vitality and warmth.
This helps us bring people together for mutual pleasure and benefit — we find it easy during this time to get along with both sexes. There is also a feeling of flow around a common vision for life… If you knew you could connect with others and it would be easy, what would you pick to do?
Do you have an Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 0-23 degrees of Gemini, Aquarius, or Libra? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Aries (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Mars rules Aries).
Friday April 17th:
Friday, the Moon remains freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius until 2:29pm EDT (see Wednesday early morning for details).
Friday at 10:34am EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for almost 4 hours until 2:29pm EDT. This intuitive time provides an opportunity to look at our various communities or group affiliations and find ways to bring our personal touch or leadership style to our common vision for the future.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Friday late morning until the afternoon ahead of time.
Friday at 2:29pm EDT, the Moon moves into creative, sensitive Pisces, where it will journey until very early morning on Monday (April 20th). This Moon placement often finds us more sensitive, intuitive, idealistic and imaginative than normal. We also have a greater capacity for compassion, sympathy and affection for all — but especially for those who suffer or can be regarded as the underdog.
But… that very idealism could also be our downfall at this time: We tend to see the best in everyone and everything, and when reality doesn’t match our idyllic vision, we might feel upset and even victimized by those harsh realities. A way out of this is to channel our idealism into spiritual or creative endeavors.
It’s also a great time for releasing fears — especially the ones based on a sense of separation — and experiencing “oneness”. Feelings tend to flow more freely; as best as you can, let them — in fact, “going with the flow” is the best way to go for the next couple of days.
Saturday, April 18th:
Saturday, the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day. (see Friday afternoon for details).
Saturday very early morning, an opportune Mercury/Venus aspect becomes exact at 1:36am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Wednesday on; and it will remain strong until Sunday evening. This aspect gives us the opportunity for more direct and versatile connections to others.
Enhanced communication abilities help us clear up any misunderstandings or discomfort from the past, particularly in love relationships. This is also an opportune time to make new social contacts, especially with people who live in our immediate environment; connecting with siblings could also prove beneficial.
Remember: this is an “opportunity” — those aren’t necessarily handed to us, we have to actively take advantage of them.
Do you have an Ascendant, Career point (or any personal planets) in 10-14 degrees of Aries, Gemini, Aquarius or Leo? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Virgo, Gemini, Libra or Taurus (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra)
Saturday late evening, an opportune Mercury/Mars aspect is exact at 11:55pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Friday morning on; and it will remain strong until Monday evening (April 20th). This aspect provides an opportunity to connect thought to action. Body and mind can align; words and deeds connect with ease. As with any opportunity, we have to “take” this one: it will not happen by itself.
What actions are calling to you today? How might those actions be connected to other like-minded people… or a vision you have for humanity’s future?
Do you have an Ascendant, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 11-16 degrees of Aries, Aquarius, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Aries (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Mars rules Aries)
Sunday, April 19th:
Sunday, the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day (see Friday afternoon for details).
Sunday morning, at 10:45am EDT, the Sun changes signs from bold, courageous Aries to steady, peaceful Taurus; it will journey there until May 20th. For the next four weeks our attention is on physical pleasures and we are more aware of our need for comfort and consistency. The Sun in Taurus reminds us to slow down and smell the roses.
We are able to be very consistent and methodical, which helps us bring groundedness and reality to our new goals. We focus on what is most important to us. What do you value most? How do you feel about yourself and what you bring to the table?
All this is especially true if you are a Leo or Taurus Sun-sign or Rising-sign. As a Taurus, you will feel a good dose of confidence and playfulness in the next four weeks; as a Leo your vitality will most likely slow down and you might indulge in physical or material pleasures.
Sunday evening, at 7:31pm EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for 7.5 hours until 3am EDT (Monday very early morning). Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to be wholly present — and also to expand your perception around practicalities and long-term plans. As best as you can, bring a sense of flow and faith to your business dealings.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Sunday evening ahead of time.
And…
A heads up for next Monday (April 20th): the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces and VoC until 3:00am EDT. At that time, the Moon enters pioneering, fast-paced Aries. The Moon in Aries sextiles Saturn in Aquarius, exact at 6:16am EDT, and conjuncts Chiron in Aries, exact at 4:55pm EDT. More about all the details in next week’s forecast : )
