Full Moon in Leo – the article

On Feb. 16th at 11:56am ESTthe Moon opposes the Sun in 28 degrees of Leo — and this is when this month’s Full Moon becomes exact. We will start to feel this Full Moon build from the moment the Moon enters Leo on Monday morning (Feb. 14th). Relationships of all kinds are highlighted.

All Full Moons offer opportunities for us to see things in a new light; they also guide us away from polarization and division, toward balance and integration.

Ask yourself: How far have I come since setting Intentions back on Feb. 1st or 2nd, after the New Moon became exact? What am I aware of at this time?

The balance and integration we seek with this month’s Full Moon is connected to the Aquarius-Leo polarity.

This current Full Moon makes a Quincunx to Pluto in Capricorn, it also squares the Lunar Eclipse degree from Nov. 2021 and the Moon Nodes in Taurus-Scorpio — and, in this Full Moon chart, we also have some opportune planetary connections to Jupiter (the planet of possibility and expansion), which encourage us to release old assumptions and trust new possibilities. I will go into all those in detail in a moment…

As a Member of my online community, if you’d like to learn more about this month’s Full Moon, click here to watch my video.

The Full Moon Squares the Lunar Eclipse degree from Nov. 2021, making this Full Moon a powerful turning point on our journey towards greater stability — collectively and individually speaking.

What is your turning point? What needs to shift for you?

If you are familiar with your natal chart, take a look at the Houses involved (connected to the Square between this month’s Full Moon and the Lunar Eclipse from last year November) to see how this might play out for you 😉

If you prefer that I take a look at this for you, feel free to either book a 25-minute Soul Purpose Reading with me, a 25-minute Reading with Lia, or ask your question during the Monthly Forecasting Forum on Feb. 19th.

On Feb. 19th, we will investigate the upcoming Squares (in late February and early March), to the Eclipse points — in relationship to our own birth charts.

Now, let’s take a look at this Full Moon’s polarities: Aquarius, along with its co-rulers Saturn and Uranus, deals with the idea of being human, both on an individual level and as a member of the “human family”.

It represents a unique vision and approach to life. The classic Aquarian vision is one of interconnected equality — paradoxically, we are reminded at the same time that the power of unity lies in diversity.

Leo, on the other hand, is all about our individual self-expression, creativity, our ability to connect to a courageous, innocent heart, and inner joy.

This Full Moon is our chance to make a more conscious effort to embrace, integrate, and explore the lighter/higher vibrations of Leo. This is an optimistic, and extroverted sign, that represents our capacity to love — and our willpower. It signifies the quest to live from our center, our core, our truth — with joy in our hearts.

This Full Moon reminds us that everyone has the power to make a difference in the world, small or large — and when we join together, that power grows exponentially.

Ask yourself: How could I best honor both my individual self-expression and my interconnectedness with the world? How am I adding my voice (in small ways and large)?

As with all Full Moons, there’s a shadow side to be discussed — the Shadow of both signs involved in this Full Moon: Aquarius & Leo — and please note that the shadow side of any sign is usually not as comfortable to look at or easy to embrace. Aquarius’s shadow side

Aquarius’s shadow side might show up as cold, detached, or overly intellectualized points of view — and there could be some arrogance in the mix. Ask yourself: If I were too much in my head, what would tip me off to that? Where do I get dogmatic about concepts or visions? Where do I conform, or at least want to fit in? How might my experience of life change if I gave up conforming out of fear of ridicule or rejection?

Where do I hide behind social groups to feel superior to others? Has belonging to a “tribe” become more important than my personal self-expression? How have I avoided following my heart, so I can fit in?

And if by chance you have never belonged to a “tribe”, then ask yourself: What if I gave up identifying as a “black sheep”, rebel, or being so different that I can never belong?

In order to develop a healthy relationship to the individual part we play in the collective, we need to keep an open mind, allow everyone (ourselves included) to be their unique selves, and then bring that unique spark to the collective experience.

Aquarius connects us to the complex patterns formed when many come together; it represents the power of collaboration, where the whole becomes greater than the sum of its parts.

Ask yourself: How might I personally contribute to a better future for humanity? If I had a unique spark that could bring greater joy and diversity to the collective experience, what might that spark be? What is humanity without me? Who am I without humanity?

So much for the Aquarian shadow — let’s look at Leo’s shadow side:

This might show up as self-centeredness, with some narcissistic traits — picture a child that can’t see beyond itself, that is not aware of other people in the room, cannot see past the moment to the consequences down the line.

Ask yourself: If I’m honest, have I ever created drama when I couldn’t have what I desired? Where in my life do I take things too personally? Where do I tend to be self-indulgent? What role does my pride play?

In order to develop a healthy connection to our inner child, we must learn to keep an open heart and let ourselves be playful and creative; we must also learn to express our needs and desires, so we can have open, authentic conversations with other people. Leo represents our individual expression, individual creativity, the kind of light we came to shine, the type of joy we came to spread.

Ask yourself: What might open up if I expressed myself with my heart as my center? What if I expressed myself with 5% more courage? What might my world look like if I allowed my light to shine just 5% brighter?

As with all Full Moons, we are also invited to balance and integrate the two polarities involved — in this case, we are invited to allow head/intellect (Aquarius) and heart-expression (Leo) to merge, bringing about a brighter future for humankind — so ask yourself:

What would it look like if I allowed that merger? What if I chose, right here and now, to contribute to humanity from a courageous, heart-centered, and authentic place? What if I simply chose that right now?

We are also encouraged to acknowledge that we are all in this together, and yet each of us has the ability to effect change by tapping into our courage and living our vision — which in turn requires that we drop more fully into our hearts.

Now let’s take a look at some of the aspects of this Full Moon chart:

The Moon in Leo quincunxes Pluto in Capricorn, turning our attention towards the mismatch between our need for joyful, authentic self-expression (and playful, creative interactions), versus our intense desire to achieve something out there in the world that feels emotionally authentic and empowering.

We are asked to bring an inner awareness to those seemingly opposite pulls. Ask yourself: Am I after playful laughter and joy? Or empowering achievements and accomplishments out there in the world? Could I allow myself to feel into the mismatch of those two desires? To stay flexible and accepting in the face of non-alignment?

No matter what I engage in, could I drop any self-judgment? Could I even allow myself to dance with those mismatched energies?

Quincunxes can also represent health issues. In this case, Leo is associated with the heart and spine, our sense of vitality and backbone. If we are not able to stay flexible, heart-centered and open-minded, we may experience a lack of vitality or back pain; we may also experience some spine or heart issues.

Remember: The best way to deal with Quincunxes is not to keep looking for the exact solution, but for ways to feel ok when things are not an exact match — in other words, when something is uncomfortable…

The Sun and the Moon also square the Moon Nodes at 27º Taurus-Scorpio generating a Fixed Grand Cross, which urges us to see the world through the balance of our blissful heart, and our vision for humanity’s future.

The Moon Nodes encode a tremendous amount of information about the current evolutionary process of humanity. They symbolize the path of “Return to Source”, where we remember our inherent divinity and unity.

Squares ask for a shift in perception and direction; they challenge us to go beyond what is divisive and destructive and instead to move towards what creates growth. They mark turning points — and this one is a turning point in our ability to balance our individual self-expression and our collective desires and goals.

We must also find a balance between inner processes and outer focus. We may want to practice going beyond our fears (in general) and attachments to survival strategies (i.e. our conditioning).

Ask yourself: What fears are asking to be faced? What am I ready to let go of? What steps can I take to heal past trauma? Where do I need to decide to step into my own power more fully?

We may also want to make an effort to connect to what’s important to us, to what we truly value (ourselves included).

Ask yourself: Where do I stand when it comes to a healthy sense of Self? What stands between me and “healthy self-esteem”? What’s my relationship to the physical world? To my body? My personal resources?

What’s my relationship to the Earth? Do I see it as my current home? If so, how can I make it a more beautiful home? A thriving home?

Since we are dealing with a lot of Fixed Signs here, it would be futile to get too attached to thoughts, visions, pride, emotional connections, comforts, habits, opinions, etc.

Feel free to learn more about the current Moon Nodes in Taurus-Scorpio (in relationships to your own birth chart) here.

Uranus, the modern ruler of Aquarius, is currently in Taurus and sextiles Jupiter in Pisces: Uranus is the higher octave of Mercury, increasing our access to innovative thinking and alternative solutions; in Taurus, it is connected to our personal resources, what we value, and to our planet’s resources.

Uranus’ Sextile to Jupiter asks us to find unique perspectives that honor our physical world as well as our connection to the divine.

Ask yourself: What if I allowed myself to tap into my intuitive knowing and shared some novel progress-oriented ideas around reinventing our connection to the physical world? What could unfold if I opened my heart to myself and others around unique preferences?

Could I simply be a witness to the shifts that are occurring within and outside of me? How might a new perspective on self-compassion support me in always seeing my value, no matter what the social consensus is?

What might it look like if I released “old” assumptions and trusted new possibilities? What if I experimented with that for one week?

For more about all of the Sextiles to Jupiter in Pisces ==> please see the “New Moon in Aquarius” video or article for details.

Now let’s talk about Saturn, the traditional ruler of Aquarius, and therefore co-ruler with Uranus — and, it is currently in a wide conjunction with the Sun in Aquarius, and a wide square with Uranus in Taurus.

This combo is pointing toward our affiliations and communities (online or locally), and asking us to see how we can grow through (and with) them, without giving up our values and sense of Self.

There is also an emphasis on setting healthy boundaries, on discerning what feels aligned with who we are now, and on whatever supports our individual self-expression.

Ask yourself: How do I feel about my current communities or affiliations? Do they help me grow mentally? Spiritually? Do I feel in alignment with them? Do they feel like they fit me well?

How developed is my sense of who I am outside of those communities and affiliations? Do I sense my value no matter who or what group/community I am connected to?

How have I been valuing myself up until now? How is that working for me? How much freedom is there in holding on to valuing myself in that particular way? What changes in my life are waiting to be integrated and become tangible?

We also have a Venus-Mars conjunction in Capricorn in this Full Moon chart: This is the first of two alignments between Venus and Mars within the next couple of weeks, and it will be exact only 2.5 hours before the Full Moon becomes exact. The second one will be on March 6th in 0 degrees of Aquarius (in an exalted degree). More about that in our next New Moon video…

This alignment represents a marriage of courage and collaboration, inviting us to allow the masculine (active/doing/asserting) and feminine (receiving/allowing/being) to work together — in a responsible way (since the first alignment is taking place in Capricorn).

Ask yourself: Where do I need to be more courageous when it comes to my authentic standing in society? What if I responded to situations in a way that respects and serves all those involved? What would it look like if I celebrated (and leveraged) my courage and collaborative approaches to life’s challenges?

And last but not least: Neptune in Pisces sextiles Pluto in Capricorn, and trines the South Node in Scorpio.

Neptune’s Sextile to Pluto invites us to surrender our fears about our position in the world and our achievements; we have the opportunity to be guided by inspiration and feel empowered about a project or task that might serve us long-term or as a society. This is also an opportunity for boundaries to dissolve — to open up and connect to what we are passionate about.

Ask yourself: Is it at least possible that combining my imagination with trust in divine guidance would support me in effortlessly reaching my deep desire for an empowered experience in society? What if directing kindness towards the world would bring peace into my life and my heart?

As best as you can, connect to your higher Self, and if possible, bring a sense of flow and faith to your long-term plans — especially those you feel really passionate about.

Neptune’s trine to the South Node makes it easier for us to release “old” traumas from the past. Ask yourself: How might a compassionate heart help me surrender my fears in connection to past trauma or disempowerment? What has been in my awareness lately when it comes to such fears?

We tend to “feel” each other on an energetic level now; a sensitive approach is therefore recommended — as we are tapping into the collective experience, it might be wise to remember that everyone is working with the current energies as best as they can.

Ask yourself: Could I experiment with blessing everyone around me or at least with holding loving thoughts? What if I trusted my inner and outer processes?

To sum it all up: With this many planets and points in fixed signs, we are asked to break down long-standing patterns, attachments, and identities.

This Full Moon urges us to remember that we all have an important part to play in humanity’s evolution — that we chose to be born a part of this transition, on this planet, at this time; so ask yourself: Am I living from my essence or my conditioned Self?

To get a better sense of which one it might be, ask yourself: To what degree do I experience joy? Gratitude? Love? No matter what plays out in the collective experience or in my various communities?

What might happen if I consciously and playfully steered my ship towards joy, gratitude, and love? What is in my heart, that longs to be expressed? Do I have the courage to stand in my authentic self-expression?

This Full Moon shows us that there are plenty of inner and outer processes going on — and we’re all dealing with those processes in our own way.

If we look into our own hearts and see the strength and love lying there we can begin to reclaim ourselves, remember our divinity and interdependence, and lift ourselves and humanity out of the old paradigm of separation and scarcity.

Flexibility, thinking outside the box, and self-care are critical!

Self-care is particularly important in times of stress and/or change — basic things, like making sure that we eat healthily and regularly, drink plenty of water, exercise, get plentiful rest — and let in affection from friends, family, or pets.

As best as you can, for the next two weeks, connect to what feels supportive in order to stay grounded and self-regenerative.

Lots of planets are involved in this Full Moon chart — Mercury and Venus are both Retrograde, while Uranus is exalted, and will come to a halt only 15.5 hours after the Full Moon becomes exact. Neptune supports the integration of the Full Moon polarity, while Pluto intensifies it; Saturn (the ruler of Capricorn) aligns with Mercury in Aquarius and both square an exalted Uranus in Taurus… and all play an important role, so buckle up! More about the specifics in regards to all of these planets in a moment.

But first, let’s talk about this month’s Full Moon: This Lunation shows us how well we are doing with self-care and any issues connected to family or home — and also where we are in connection to greater emotional responsibility and self-alignment.

Ask yourself: What’s my relationship to self-care and where do I feel most “at home”? What’s my understanding of my emotional needs? How might an emotional connection to myself and loved ones be of benefit to me? How might it shift my priorities?

Cancer is the first of the water signs and is therefore emotional and mercurial (like a river or a stream). Feelings are real, but may not always seem rational… until we can identify the underlying, unmet need connected to a particular feeling.

We all have needs. For example: we all have a need for love or approval, for control (or not feeling out of control), a need for safety or security, for human connection or a heart connection to a living being, and a need for autonomy or independence.

Our feelings reflect whether our needs are being met. Feeling happy, peaceful, and open indicates that our needs are being met. When we feel “negative emotions” (e.g. stressed, depressed, angry/frustrated, etc.) it’s clear that at least one important need is not being met.

If you are feeling any of the latter emotions, ask yourself: Which of my needs is not being met at this time? Am I lacking (and therefore “wanting”) approval, love, control, safety, or security? Am I wanting to feel connected, closer, or do I want to be separate? And whichever one it is, could I let go of “wanting” that, just for this now moment?

In other words, could I let go of the idea that I am lacking something? Would I? In other words, am I willing to let go, just as best as I can, just for right now? When? (This last question is an invitation to let go right here, right now).

By the way, if you enjoyed those questions, or are intrigued, they come from The Sedona Method – a set of processes I use extensively in my coaching work, that are very subtle and powerful. For more info about my Coaching-Healing sessions, click here.

Now, let’s take a look at the polarities involved with this Full Moon: The Moon in protective, feeling-oriented Cancer opposes the Sun in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn.

We have a heightened sense that something must be brought into balance and reintegrated; the balance in question is between the experience of our personal feelings and emotional needs (symbolized by Cancer), versus our outer obligations or material, practical goals (Capricorn).

It’s important to realize that we all have limitations and challenges in life — and when we approach those in a nurturing way, taking care of our feeling body and inner baby, and allowing ourselves to receive support from family or “familiar” connections”, we are more likely to overcome those challenges and be realistic about limitations — our own, and other people’s.

Ask yourself: How am I balancing the demands of my outer and inner life? Home life vs. career? Where am I able to be mature and self-reliant — and also contribute? Where am I giving too much? Not enough?

Any Full Moon also has us look more closely at the denser vibrations or shadow components of the energies involved. Cancer must learn about receiving and developing healthy roots; Capricorn, about giving back and sharing the fruits of its labor.

With Cancer, this is also our ability feel safe from within — but what protected us in the past may no longer work — our needs may have changed over time.

Ask yourself: Where do I have the tendency to hold on to the past? Where am I holding on simply because it is familiar? Where am I resisting change?

The more we disregard our own feelings and needs, the greater the risk that we will violate the concerns and rights others.

Ask yourself:  What happens when I don’t allow myself to feel my feelings or acknowledge my needs? Where do I need to shed my defenses? Where do I need to establish better boundaries? Where do I react instead of respond?

The latter question is so important that I created a webinar around it: “React vs. Respond Where in the chart can we learn about our emotional maturity?”. This webinar comes with really great handouts that are very useful for understanding your own relationship to emotional maturity.

If you haven’t seen it yet, click here for more info! Remember: This webinar is discounted until Jan. 23rd with discount coupon EVERYTHING4LESS.

Let’s take a look at some other aspects of this Full Moon chart, starting with the most exact ones: The Sun is in a very close alignment with Pluto in Capricorn

As the third earth sign, Capricorn (at its highest vibration) seeks to create forms that are based on spiritual truths — that all matter is composed of energy, and it is our collective duty to use all energy responsibly.

Ask yourself: What am I likely to manifest in my own world, given the energies that are part of my creative process every day?

Pluto in Capricorn challenged us to face our fears, shift our relationship to the material plane, and reclaim our power. We are being asked to bring conscious awareness to how we use our essence and purpose out there in the world. This provides an opportunity to truly align with what brings emotional and material security to our world.

As best as you can, focus on dedication, wholeness and truth — devote yourself to your true passions, to your heart. We are more likely to want to work towards a goal, to achieve things, give form to something in the external world that aligns with those inner values and needs.

Ask yourself: What lies between me and my Authentic Self? If I let go of memories and concepts, and just look here and now, can I actually find an obstacle?

It’s also worth noting: Success and rewards will come in direct proportion to the amount of authentic passion, integrity, and maturity we bring to the world. Ask yourself: Where do I need to commit more deeply to what really matters? How authentic am I when it comes to my long-term goals? How passionate? How truthful?

The Moon is the ruler of Cancer, and is currently in its own sign, opposing not only the Sun in Capricorn, but also Pluto.

The Moon’s opposition to the Sun/Pluto alignment in Capricorn urges us to pay the same attention to our inner world as we pay to our responsibilities in the outer. Ask yourself: What are my physical- and my feeling-bodies telling me? What is “Life” trying to tell me?

What do I need to change to be better aligned with my needs? Do I need to move? Pursue another vocation? Heal something from the past? Where do I need to feel more empowered? What relationships need to be transformed? What if fear was the only thing holding me back from a fulfilling life?

This opposition also asks us to balance a loving, caring connection with ourselves and others, against our desire to achieve our long-term goals out there in the world.

As best as you can, steer by your own inner compass, and bring your authentic self to the world in a spirit of integrity and responsibility — and keep in mind, as we heal our personal history, we become a source of light and support for others.

Ask yourself: What would self-responsible self-care look like? How does my inner life inform my outer? Where is there still room for healing when it comes to my own personal history?

When we understand the Cancer energy fully, we have learned about self-care and receiving — not just giving, or helping others — while with Capricorn, we eventually learn about giving back, not just accomplishing for personal gain or reaching a higher status.

Ask yourself:  Where might the balance lie between self-nurturing and self-care, versus achieving my goals? Are those things really in conflict? Am I doing what I want to do, or what I think I “should” do?

Am I more connected to what nurtures me — or to my “shoulds”? Does my current environment/home support my inner & outer growth? Does it provide nourishing bonds with others? How does all this affect my contribution to the world? My standing in society?

And of course, as always when Cancer and Capricorn are involved: take baby-steps (or if you prefer, “take it one day at a time” 😉 Ask yourself: Why would I sprint if walking got me there at the perfect time?

Check to see where any urge toward rushing or “getting there” comes from — is that coming from a place of fear or love?

We also have some more harmonious connections to the Full Moon:

Neptune trines the Moon in Cancer and sextiles the Sun-Pluto alignment in Capricorn. This means that when we focus on the Neptune energies we have a much easier time integrating/balancing the Cancer-Capricorn energies.

Neptune symbolizes unconditional love and unity consciousness; intuition, creativity, and compassion, as well as inspirational energy through art, meditation, and/or time in nature are all connected to the Neptune energies as well.

Ask yourself: Could I look beyond the mind and tap into the larger field of energy all around me? What nourishes my soul? Could I make time for silence, surrender, and self-reflection? Even if it’s seems impossible… just a few minutes every day?

When we are in a state of “flow” and connect to others from the heart (Neptune in Pisces) we relax, and that in turn supports our ability to take care of ourselves (Cancer) and achieve our goals out there in the world (Capricorn).

Ask yourself: How might self-compassion support my practices of self-care? How might nurturing myself support true self-acceptance and self-kindness? Might it also help grant acceptance and kindness toward others? And even the world at large?

Surrendering our fears about our position in the world and our achievements gets a little easier when we trust our intuitive heart; each moment can potentially become an unfolding that empowers us to be authentically ourselves out there in the world and nurture ourselves.

Ask yourself: Is it at least possible that combining my imagination with trust in divine guidance would support me in effortlessly reaching my long-term goals? What might be possible if I also heeded subtle messages from my intuitive heart that stir me toward the kind of success that empowers me and others?

What if I brought 5% more self-compassion to every moment while working towards a balance between achievement and self-care? Could I do that just by checking in with myself from time to time?

Some other important aspects worth mentioning are: Saturn (the ruler of Capricorn) aligns with Mercury in Aquarius (currently retrograde) and both square an exalted Uranus in Taurus.

So before we go into this, let’s address the Retrograde phases & Uranus being exalted:

Mercury in Aquarius & Venus in Capricorn are both Retrograde at the time of the Full Moon, indicating that we need to look back before we can look ahead; Retrograde phases also give us a chance to go within and see if the outer aligns with the inner and vice versa. We are also getting a chance to resolve any issues connected to the planets in retrograde motion.

Ask yourself: What relationships need to be reviewed? What issues are asking to be resolved? What long-term financial goals need a second look? What are my career aspirations telling me? What needs to be brought back into balance in my life? What roles do self-responsibility and self-mastery play in all of this?

Could I permit myself to get in touch with my unique spark? What needs to be addressed with regards to any group experiences, humanitarian causes, or technology? If I knew I actually could make a difference, where would I begin?

Uranus comes to a halt (stations direct) at almost 11 degrees of Taurus on Jan. 18th and ends its 5-months Retrograde phase only 15.5 hours after the Full Moon becomes exact.

The planet’s energy is “louder” because it is moving so slowly; it will be exalted until Jan. 30th, emphasizing the Square to Saturn — this Square will not be exact again this year, but the two contrary energies of Uranus and Saturn will remain within 10º of each other for all of 2022.

It’s time to make a real – in other words, not merely cosmetic — change in at least one area of our life. Uranus is the higher octave of Mercury, increasing our access to innovative thinking and alternative solutions; its Station phase could also coincide with revelations, reversals, or other unexpected events, such as earthquakes, or severe weather.

Collectively, Uranus in Taurus adds even greater emphasis to the urgency of changing our relationship with the Earth — from domination and exploitation, to stewardship and co-creation.

Ask yourself: Looking back over the past 5 months, what have I learned about honoring my body? What about my material and financial resources? Or my talents? In what ways have I disagreed with other people’s values? Am I ready to honor my own unique approach? Where am I ready to take a big leap forward?

Now let’s get back to Saturn, the ruler of Capricorn. Saturn is currently in Aquarius, and Uranus, the ruler of Aquarius, is currently in Taurus. Uranus still squares Saturn most of 2022. A Square always invites us to find creative solutions and to stretch ourselves and grow beyond our past capabilities.

As the Saturn/Mercury alignment in Aquarius squares Uranus in Taurus at the time of this Full Moon, the next two weeks may find us becoming quite eager, both collectively and individually speaking, to make some essential changes in our lives.

We are invited to stay detached in our social dealings with others and honor our own individuality without making anyone else wrong for being different.

Since this is a Closing Square, we are looking for practical solutions; change needs to proceed from a level of maturity that is informed by our experience of what didn’t work before.

It becomes very clear with this combo that humanity’s evolution and survival lies in equality, collaboration, and respect for the Earth and all its inhabitants.

How quickly this shift happens depends on the choices each one of us makes on an individual level. It is helpful to remember that as the “old” falls away, progress is taking place, always — even if not visible to the naked eye.

Ask yourself: If I wanted to put a solid foundation under my effort to inspire collaboration in my various communities, where would I lay the cornerstone? Could I give other people’s “choosing” the space that it needs, so I can honor what’s important to me, without taking things personally?

What might a co-creative process with our planet and the Universe look like? What is my unique value in all of this?

Again, it is helpful to remember that as the old falls away, progress is taking place. Envision the world in which you wish to live and move steadily towards that.

Another big evolutionary shift that happens on January 18th, only 20 hours after the Full Moon becomes exact: the Moon Nodes will move from Gemini-Sagittarius to Taurus-Scorpio, where they will remain until July 17th, 2023!

The Moon Nodes represent our Soul’s Journey – collectively and individually speaking. This shift thus constitutes a new Soul’s Journey, one that emphasizes making more of an effort to honor ourselves, our bodies, possessions, talents, material and financial resources, our planet and its resources — in short, anything we value.

We are also invited to release or redefine our relationship to trauma stemming from our past — and also redefine our intimate relationships, death and rebirth, endings and beginnings — in other words, the cycles of life.

After Jan. 18th, ask yourself: How can I best align myself with this new collective Soul’s Journey in the Taurus-Scorpio polarity? What do I truly value? What deserves my attention, appreciation, and care? Which of my values stem from social conditioning? Which need to change?

How am I doing with owning previously denied or rejected parts of myself? What parts of myself still operate from survival strategies? Where am I still left feeling disempowered in my life? Is there a cycle in my life that is ending? What might a new beginning look like?

In our next Monthly Forecasting Forum on Saturday, Jan. 22nd, we’ll be taking a look at the Moon Nodes in Taurus-Scorpio, in relationship to our own birth charts.

For example, we will investigate what old traumas we are looking to release or become aware of, over the next 18 months. What feels disempowering and no longer relevant? What needs to be transformed, so we can thrive and feel abundant?

If you want to align yourself with this evolutionary shift, join us live, or get the mp4-video presentation of the live event. Either way, if you are not yet a Star Member, register now!

Early Bird Special is still available; until Jan. 19th at midnight! Or take advantage of the current BONUS GIFT: one free month of STAR Membership  ==> To sign up for the free Star Membership, click here and add coupon: mStar (at check out).

All my Star Members are automatically registered and will receive an invite to join us a day prior and the day of the webinar 😉

To sum it all up: Honor your feelings and needs, so you can build something of value, and share the fruits of your labor with the world. As best as you can, be kind, gentle, compassionate, and accepting of yourself — this will help balance the Cancer/Capricorn polarities.

Ask yourself: What if I brought 5% more compassion and love to every moment while working towards my achievement? Could I do that just by checking in with my physical and emotional needs from time to time?

Before we can release the old, we must become aware of it, and finish feeling any lingering emotional residues — rage, shame, hatred, jealousy, judgment— whatever has been stored in our unconscious.

This Full Moon holds a major breakthrough energy: if we are able to keep breathing, keep feeling, keep witnessing, and remember that we are all participating in an unprecedented, evolutionary shift, we can drop centuries of old programming.  We are divine beings remembering who we really are. We are learning to choose from love rather than fear.

Ask yourself: What if I trusted the timing of things just 5% more? What might result from closing my eyes for a minute or two, now and then, to take a moment with myself, to tune in and center myself?

During these next 2 weeks, self-care definitely deserves our attention… Make sure you get plenty of rest, affection, water, and healthy amounts of nutritious foods 😉

As a reminder, feel free to also watch my Full Moon video.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following:  26-29 degrees of Cancer, Capricorn, Aries, Libra, or 0 degrees of Leo, Aquarius, Taurus or Scorpio? If so, you are more affected by this month’s Full Moon. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Full Moon in Gemini — the article

On Dec. 18th at 11:36pm EST the Full Moon becomes exact, in 27.5 degrees of Gemini; the entrance of the Moon into Gemini Thursday afternoon (Dec. 16th) started the energetic build up towards this Full Moon.

The Moon in chatty, versatile Gemini opposes the Sun in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius. If you are already a Member of my online community, feel free to watch my Full Moon video for more details.

Since the last Lunation was a powerful Solar Eclipse, we are still in Eclipse season until the next New Moon on Jan. 2nd, 2022. This means that, until then, we continue to integrate our evolutionary downloads and consciousness upgrades. We might feel more tired or even exhausted because of those inner processes.

Even though the current Moon Nodes remain in Gemini-Sagittarius until January 18, 2022, this Full Moon is no longer a Lunar Eclipse, because the Moon Nodes are too far away (in degrees) from the Moon and the Sun.

The Moon Nodes in Gemini-Sagittarius (since May 2020) and the current Full Moon occurring in those same signs does, however, intensify the quest to find a balance between those two polarities.

Feel free to also check out my webinar in connection with those Moon Nodes (if you haven’t seen it yet), to get a more specific take on how this might be impacting you personally.

You can ask yourself over the next two weeks: What have I learned about the difference between observation and opinion since May of 2020? What do I now know about the difference between fact and interpretation? Or perception vs. understanding?

On May 26th, 2021 there was a Lunar Eclipse at 5.5º Sagittarius-Gemini. This Full Moon at 27.5º Gemini-Sagittarius, highlights these two signs once again.

This current Lunar cycle will continue a conversation that started back in late May around our beliefs and attitudes towards government and how we meet challenges that are coming up as a collective.

You can ask yourself here: Could I take responsibility for my part in that conversation and the stories to which I am attached? Am I willing to participate in that conversation in a mature way? Am I hiding behind old beliefs and social conditioning?

Am I able to acknowledge my limitations and shortcomings without making others wrong? Am I willing to approach this unique collective situation with a curious mind and an open heart?

Whenever a planet changes direction, or squares the Moon Nodes, its archetypal significance is intensified — in other words, the planet’s energies become exalted.

This current Full Moon has two highly exalted planets:
Venus in
Capricorn & Chiron in Aries (both planets changing directions within 12 hours of the Full Moon becoming exact); Jupiter squares the Moon Nodes (therefore Jupiter is even more significant than just being the ruler of Sagittarius); Neptune in Pisces just ended its station the day before the Full Moon becomes exact, and squares the Full Moon polarity in Gemini-Sagittarius.

There are several other important aspects in this Full Moon chart and I will go into all of them in detail in a moment — but first, let’s address the Gemini-Sagittarius polarities:

Full Moons illuminate the higher/lighter vibration as well as the denser Shadow side of each sign. As our collective consciousness continues to awaken, what’s been in the shadows comes to the forefront more and more, so we can see it more clearly and deal with it on a conscious level.

The lighter side of Gemini is all about…

The lighter side of Gemini is all about being open-minded, aware that there is always more to learn, and realizing that listening is just as important as speaking (sometimes even more so).

Gemini’s Shadow side has lots of facts but little knowledge, talks readily but is unable to hear, and allows the mind to dominate body, heart, and soul. With Shadow issues, the more awareness we bring to them, the less impact they have on us.

The highest vibration of Sagittarius leads to ever-expanding horizons of understanding, tolerance, and the realization of what life is all about (in general and in particular); the Shadow side has us fall into ruts of dogmatism, entitlement, and excess of all kinds.

Staying curious and open-minded (rather than coming from “already always knowing” or assumptions) will bring greater happiness, balance, and fulfillment in all areas of life.

Ask yourself: What could I learn about my own communication skills that might help me grow as a human being? What might I need to learn or understand in order to go beyond my cultural/religious/social conditioning? What has already changed over the last year in that regard?

How could I make my experience of processing/sharing information and interacting with others more beneficial for everyone involved?

One of modern life’s challenges is dealing with information overload — a Gemini issue. With all the information coming our way on a daily basis, it has become much harder to discern what is fact, fiction, exaggeration, or even outright falsification.

One of the most pressing issues of our time, especially highlighted during the pandemic, is media bias and the decline of objective journalism — a Gemini-Sagittarius issue.

Ask yourself: What new information might I spot if I stepped back and took a wider view? Could I be 5% extra mindful and discerning as to what I assume to be true?

Neptune turned direct on Dec. 1st, and remains exalted until one day before the Full Moon becomes exact; this reminds us to double-check everything against our inner knowing, our intuitive heart.

Since Neptune in Pisces squares the Full Moon in Gemini-Sagittarius, we are being urged to trust our intuition, question old assumptions, and go within before we jump into a conversation or reach any conclusions.

Ask yourself: What if I trusted my intuition 5% more and lovingly made choices that feel intuitively right for me as well as for the other person? What gives me access to my “feeling inspiration” in this uncertain climate? How could my compassionate heart solve controversy?

How might a creative approach support me in feeling more grounded in my heart-energies? What might a moment of silence provide for my restless mind and my desires to find understanding in this overwhelming pool of (mis)information?

The Moon in Gemini quincunxes Venus in Capricorn while Venus is exalted (due to starting her 6-week Retrograde phase on Dec. 19th, only 6 hours after the Full Moon becomes exact).

The Quincunx is turning our attention towards the mismatch between our need for mental stimulation, for exchanging information, and for connecting, staying busy, moving fast — versus our need to slow down and get things “right” out there in the world, and to transform our relationship to our long-term goals and worldly achievements (this is definitely an inner process).

Remember: The best way to deal with a Quincunx is not to keep looking for the exact solution, but instead to seek ways to feel ok when things are not an exact match — in other words, when something is uncomfortable.

We will address the Venus Retrograde phase in our next Forum — feel free to join us live on Dec. 17th at 2pm EST for the last Forecasting Forum of the year! Once registered, an pm4-video recording of the live event will be available to everyone whether you did join live or not!

This webinar will help you understand better how this planetary shift is going to impact you personally, especially about self-worth issues, finances, and relationships. Questions are always welcome, either via email in advance or during the Forum.

Due to her Retrograde phase, Venus will make three conjunctions with Pluto in Capricorn (the first one on Dec. 11th, the second one on Dec. 25th, and the third one on March 3rd, 2022). This is spotlighting where we need to transform our obsession with power, money, and status (our own or other people’s).

Venus remains within 5º of Pluto until Jan. 4th, 2022, directing our attention towards our desire to have an authentic and deep connection to our long-term goals – one that feels empowering.

Ask yourself: Am I thinking long-term when connecting with others? Am I merely making a living, or, am I creating long-term goals that have purpose and feel emotionally fulfilling to me?

Am I looking to empower myself long-term by connecting to my inner strength, or to give my power away to others and allow them to control me? Where do I still look outside of myself for permission or approval? For what’s “right” or “wrong”?

What fears or concerns do I need to let go of to have more of what I really want? Am I living my life wanting to protect myself from long-term harm or worst case scenarios? Or with an open heart, feeling empowered in my daily choices?

Apropos “long-term”: I will also do a webinar on Jan. 8th about All of 2022! ==> Click here to sign up now!

PLEASE NOTE: Star Members are NOT automatically registered for the Jan. 8th event — this webinar is not included in the monthly Forecasting Forum series. The first monthly Forecasting Forum of the year will be on January 22nd at 11:30am ET.

Mercury, the ruler of Gemini, is currently in Capricorn and squares Chiron in Aries (Chiron being exalted). This combination might bring up some insecurities in our verbal, in-person, or email interactions.

That said, this could also be an opportunity for healing, perhaps by looking at our insecurities and “sensitivities” through kind eyes and with an open heart instead of harsh judgment — ultimately embracing our own humanity.

We are invited to keep in mind that, as humans, we experience pain, shame, and separation, but can heal through the unconditional love and self-acceptance of the spirit-human alliance. In other words, through compassion!

Ask yourself: Where am I “reacting” versus responding to my circumstances? How might impatience contribute to this? Could I bring an open and compassionate awareness to this?

What might be possible if I was willing to just “be with” my insecurities and “sensitivities” or past wounding without trying to fix them? What if my attempts to fix them were the very thing keeping me from seeing the divine perfection of it all?

What would I be able to contribute to the world if I embraced my own humanity just 5% more?

Mercury in Capricorn also trines Uranus in Taurus with Uranus still in a Square with SaturnThe Trine helps us connect to anything that involves a shift in how we relate to our long-term goals. We perhaps might talk about implementing revolutionary business practices or government programs that support our values and make life tangibly more enjoyable. We might also experience a breakthrough of some sort.

What might this look like for you?

Ask yourself: How might new, fresh, and practical ideas create progress for my long-term goals (career or otherwise)? Where might I find something unexpected that would change my relationship to how I want to share and connect?

Uranus and Saturn have been squaring each other pretty much all year! Those Squares were exact on February 17th & June 14th, and the last one will be exact on December 24th.

Uranus’ ongoing Square with Saturn has challenged us to shift our relationship with nature from domination to co-creation, to break free from herd mentality and start thinking things through for ourselves, and to awaken to the beauty and strength of our own physical bodies — and the validity of our being alive alongside all that is life.

Ask yourself: How could I shift my connection with Mother Earth and my own physical body? How has the current manifestation of technology, the media, and authority been impacting my assets or what I value in the world?

Where do I need to respect my limitations or set clearer boundaries with others? How might a creative, unusual, or “disruptive” approach support me in having a closer relationship with myself, honoring what works for me and what doesn’t?

Jupiter, the ruler of Sagittarius, is currently in Aquarius and trines the Moon in Gemini, as well as sextiles the Sun in Sagittarius and because Jupiter is in a very late degree of Aquarius it also makes a Square to the Moon Nodes (which are in a very early degree of Gemini-Sagittarius). Let’s unpack all of that:

Jupiter’s Trine to the Moon and sextile to the Sun supports us in connecting with like-minded people, expanding each other’s minds, and sharing information that allows us to see the bigger picture.

Ask yourself: What new perspectives could I gain if I allowed myself to look at other people’s findings and what they have learned? How could I share my own findings with others?

Jupiter’s Square to the Moon Nodes amplifies the message to be conscious of our perspectives and attitudes towards collectivism.

Squares mark turning points — and this one is a turning point in our collective journey. We are being asked to take a 90-degree turn, to see the bigger picture, and to grow beyond the collective narrative.

Ask yourself: What might I gain if I searched for communities online or locally that support this perspective shift. How about like-minded people that can stand out in the crowd and can be themselves because they have gone beyond conformist thinking?

Who resonates with me? What feels in alignment with my bigger understanding of things?

Last but not least, Mars in Sagittarius aligns with the South Node, and trines Chiron in Aries (with Chiron still exalted).

Mars aligning with the South Node in Sagittarius emphasizes the importance of checking the facts, letting go of limiting beliefs, and trusting our inner guidance.

The Trine to Chiron in Aries creates a supportive environment for healing our insecurities, with further support from a sense that we are pursuing a worthy personal goal — this could be something as simple as a desire to explore and go beyond what we already know, or to simply accept our own human complexities while we are on “our mission”.

Ask yourself: How open can I be to being courageously myself, with all my sensitivities and insecurities? How complex could I allow myself to be? How about everyone else out there in the world? Could I give them permission to be just as complex?

To sum it all up: in this highly uncertain climate, in a world where we experience information overload every day, in a time when we are being asked to process through our shadow issues and let go of “old” conditioning… being present in the current moment is the biggest gift we can give to ourselves.

It’s more important than ever to “think with our heart”, respond rather than react, and remember that we are all spiritual beings learning how to be human in a very different world than we lived in just 2 years ago.

As best as you can, stay grounded, avoid distractions, and be very discerning about what deserves your attention and energy!

For the next two weeks ask yourself: What do I learn from my interactions with others? What am I willing to learn? What could I read or watch that would give me new information that feels empowering to me and worth my time? What does my intuitive heart say about all of this?

Is it at least possible for me to get quiet for 5 minutes every day and rest in the knowing that “all is well, all of the time”?

As best as you can, for the next two weeks, keep an open mind, an open heart, and see if you can tune into an ongoing realization that nothing is static and nothing is separate…

I’ll end here with a quote from the 9D Arcturian Council: “If you want to be a positive force for change in this world and in this galaxy, then pay attention to your own vibration, and do everything in your power to raise it.”

Again, feel free to watch my Full Moon video for more details.

If so, you are more affected by this month’s Full Moon. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo, the Moon rules Cancer)

Powerful Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Taurus — the article

On November 19th, at 3:57am EST, the Moon opposes the Sun (in 27 degrees of Taurus/Scorpio). This powerful Full Moon is also a Lunar Eclipse. Every six months, the Sun, Moon, & Earth align precisely enough for Solar and Lunar Eclipses to occur, generally (though not always) in pairs of one Lunar and one Solar Eclipse.

This particular Lunar Eclipse is the first of two Eclipses within a two-week period; it offers an opportunity for a deeper, more authentic connection with ourselves and others.

During a Lunar Eclipse, the Full Moon slowly dims as it passes through the Earth’s shadow, stimulating our emotional body and increasing our awareness of unconscious patterns and fears. If you’d like to learn more, and as a Member of my online community, click here to watch my Lunar Eclipse video.

Eclipses are always powerfully connected to the Moon Nodes and thus to our Soul’s Journey (both collectively and individually). All Eclipses transmit new energetic codes and transformative downloads, symbolized by the signs involved, in this case: The Moon is in steady, peaceful Taurus, while the Sun is in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio.

The more receptive we are to these transformative downloads, the more quickly and easily we can integrate them; time in nature, meditation, art, and spiritual endeavors support this integration process and help us better attune to these evolutionary upgrades.

Relationships of all kinds are highlighted during this time — but with this powerful Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse, there is a particularly strong emphasis both on self-value and on intimate relationships. Full Moons also illuminate the truth and consequences of our choices.

We become aware of what has been suppressed or ignored — or, this being a North Node Eclipse, what needs to be embraced, integrated, and explored — in regards to the Taurus energy.

It’s been 19 years since we experienced a Lunar Eclipse in this degree of Taurus. Think back to Nov. 19th, 2002: What did I need to integrate back then? What became more clear at that time, in regards to exploring my talents? What about my self-worth? Was I able to see my value? What about my relationship to money? To my physical reality? My Body? My ability to receive pleasure? To experience peace? Where do I need to take this to the next level?

We will also address the upcoming Eclipses in our next Forecasting Forum on Nov. 19th, the day of the Lunar Eclipse! Feel free to join us, if you would like to know how these powerful Lunations will impact you personally.

There is currently an Early Bird Special that is available until Nov. 16th! So feel free to take advantage of that, unless you are already a Star Member — you guys are automatically registered and will receive an email to join us live — it goes out the day before the live event, and the mp4-video recording is released within the 24 hours following the live event.

That’s it for announcements and logistics, back to the Full Moon…

Lots of planets are involved in this powerful Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse chart — two T-Squares, both of them with the Focus Point in Aquarius, and the empty leg in Leo. The ruler of Taurus (Venus) and the ruler of Scorpio (Pluto) are both in Capricorn at the time of this Lunation, making this sign an important place to look for how this Eclipse plays out in our lives. More about the specifics in regards to all of this in a moment….

The Moon Nodes are usually in the same sign as an Eclipse, but there are exceptions — those times where the Moon Nodes have not yet moved into the new polarity, but the Full Moon (or New Moon) is within 15 degrees of the transiting Moon Nodes, and therefore close enough to the Lunation to create an Eclipse effect.

This Full Moon is the first Lunar Eclipse in the Taurus-Scorpio polarity, and therefore provides a preview of what we can expect when the Moon Nodes start their journey through Taurus/Scorpio  –– a process which unfolds between Jan. 18th, 2022 and July 17th, 2023.

This constitutes a new collective Soul’s Journey, one that puts an emphasis on…

making more of an effort to honor ourselves, our bodies, our possessions, our talents, our finances, our planet and its resources — in short, anything we value.

We are also invited to release or redefine our relationship to trauma stemming from the past — and also to intimate relationships, death and rebirth, endings and beginnings — in other words, the cycle of life.

With Eclipses this is a longer-term process — in this case, one that will last until July 2023.

Let’s take a closer look at the polarities involved hereThe Moon in steady, peaceful Taurus opposes the Sun in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio.

Taurus spotlights our relationship to our physical body, what we value on the physical plane, and the planet we live on — while Scorpio highlights our relationship to emotional authenticity, intimacy/sexuality, empowerment/disempowerment, death/rebirth, endings/beginnings — Scorpio is asking us to recognize our deepest desires and truest motivations.

You can ask yourself with this Lunar Eclipse: What do I truly value? What deserves my attention, appreciation, and care? Which of my values stem from social conditioning? Which need to change?

At its best, Scorpio is associated with transformation, and our capacity to shed what may have served us in the past but now hinders our growth. We are indeed being asked to shed something in our life — a false belief, perhaps, or a “fake” identity or “way of being” — but it could also be a relationship, job, or something else more concrete.

The Sun’s passage through Scorpio is a time of transition, a time to go within to honor the realities of death and rebirth — the cycle of life, the most natural thing there is. The Sun started its passage through Scorpio on Oct. 23rd.

Ask yourself: How far have I come in regards to investigating or understanding my deepest desires? How am I doing with owning previously denied or rejected parts of myself? What parts of myself still operate on survival strategies? Where am I still left feeling disempowered in my life?

As our collective consciousness continues to awaken, what’s been in the shadows comes more and more to the forefront, so we can see it more clearly and deal with it on a conscious level. Lunar Eclipses allow us to see the Shadow aspects of each sign as well.

Scorpio ultimately teaches us that every ending is also a beginning — but the denser vibrations of Scorpio tend to bring up trust issues, black-and-white thinking, addiction to drama and darkness (or substances) — and anything we want to prevent. We could find ourselves coming from an instinctual, self-protective place, from survival, rather than intuition and love-based spaciousness.

Ask yourself here: What am I invited to shed? Is there a cycle in my life that is ending? What might a new beginning look like?

The other pole in this balancing act is Taurus, which seeks a healthy relationship with the physical world; the Moon in Taurus calls us back to our senses. Taurus is often associated with money, but the sign is ultimately about our values, of which money is a subset.

We are invited to remember that we are blessed with a miraculous birthday suit, and a beautiful, precious planet — if we feel unworthy or empty inside, material objects or accumulations can only serve as a substitute or distraction from the emptiness that comes from forgetting those facts.

Ask yourself: What do I spend my time, energy, and money on? If this reflected my relationship with myself, what might that mirror show me? Do I feel worthy? Do I value myself? How do I show my value?

Do I seem to struggle with money (accumulating it, keeping it, making the most of it, etc.)? Does money fill an emotional void in my life? Do material objects do that? Or is money simply a tool or an energy exchange for me? How might a shift in perspective help resolve my relationship to money — and ultimately towards myself?

Taurus teaches us about the power of beauty, and about things that make us happy on a physical level — we are also called to develop our talents and sense of self-worth — and are helped to discover and manifest what we truly value and enjoy.

If we are to experience the highest vibration of Taurus, a healthy sense of self-worth is critical, so ask yourself: What matters most to me? What makes me happy, deep down? What is in the way of me honoring the physical plane? Of honoring my body? The planet? Physical beauty?

What is between me and feeling valued in the world? What if I was the only one of me there will ever be? What might my value be then?

In Taurus, we discover what we most require… and enjoy; in Scorpio, we explore what we most desire… and fear.

Let’s move to some of the aspects of this Lunar Eclipse chart:

The Sun in Scorpio aligns with Mercury. This alignment brings a heightened focus towards thinking about the depth of our psyche, facing our worst fears, or dealing with loss in some way — in particular, letting go of the “old”, to let in the “new”.

Ask yourself: If I remain attached to the “old” (perhaps through fear of letting go of it to meet the “new”), might this create some difficulties for me? If I choose to let go of the old, could it help me build inner strength? Am I ready for “the new”? Can I trust the process? The cycles of Life?

Am I noticing an obsessive quality in my thinking? Am I afraid of something bad happening? Or maybe I am just concerned? If I’m trying to control what’s outside of me, how’s that working for me? What might happen if I focused on empowering myself and others? What if I opened my heart 5% more? What if surrendered 5% of my fears?

Venus (the ruler of Taurus) and Pluto (the modern ruler of Scorpio) are currently both in Capricorn.

Venus will move through this sobering, practical sign until March 2022 — much longer than usual, due to her Retrograde phase in December/January.

This suggests that the key to loving and valuing ourselves currently lies in the realization that we need to see ourselves and others for who we are, and we are being asked to have realistic goals when it comes to our relationships, our talents and our money.

Ask yourself: Where do I need to be more real about what I have to offer? What are my limitations? Where is my starting point (A)? Where would I like to end up (B)? How can I realistically get from A to B? What steps do I need to take? Where might I place the first step? Are there obstacles? Where are they?

Also: Where would I set clear and healthy boundaries, if I were aiming to establish empowering, long-term business relationships?

Just a head’s up… We will also talk in more detail about the Venus Station phases and her Retrograde cycle in Capricorn on Dec. 17th (our last Forecasting Forum of the year!)

Venus makes an exact Trine to Uranus in Taurus at the time of the Lunar Eclipse. This helps us to embrace all that is new and unusual. We are ready to experiment — but not to commit. We have an offbeat, pleasant attitude and people are more willing to socialize.

Ask yourself: What do I picture when I imagine revolutionary business or social practices that support my values and make life tangibly more enjoyable for everyone who interacts with me? What might that teach me about my unique talents or value to the world? If I wanted to experience a breakthrough with my career or long-term goals, what might that look like?

Pluto in Capricorn is looking to transform anything toxic or disempowering when it comes to responsibility around social, governmental, and economic issues. We are asked to let go of old structures and systems that keep us disempowered — but really anything that keeps us from creating fully functioning social structures based in self-responsibility and self-mastery — especially self-mastery around our collective limitations.

On a more personal note, Pluto in Capricorn asks us to step into our own authority and asks us not to give our power away to authority figures out there in the world (politicians, doctors, judges, police officers, parents, teachers, etc.). Instead to take responsibility for our own decisions and choices that we make for ourselves long-term.

The consequences of our choices and motivations also become more obvious with this placement. It is therefore more important than ever to ask yourself: Am I choosing from love or fear?

Love expands, fear contracts. Love unifies, fear divides. What am I experiencing more of? And how could I experience a 5% expansion of the heart? 5% greater unification of mind and soul?

Mars (the traditional ruler of Scorpio) is currently in Scorpio and is part of a T-Square, involving Uranus in Taurus & Saturn in Aquarius. I talked about this T-Square in great detail in one of my webinars;. to purchase it, click here, or feel free to re-listen to it, if you are already a Star Member. If you are on that Membership level, it was emailed to you on Oct. 22nd.

I also talked briefly about this T-Square in the last New Moon in Scorpio video.

There is a second T-Square in the Lunar Eclipse chart: The Sun/Mercury alignment & the Moon all square Jupiter in Aquarius, making Jupiter the Focus Point of this T-Square. This puts some stress on our social interactions with others, especially our expectations regarding them.

Ask yourself: What might benefit from a new perspective on my communities (online or in-person)? What attitude shift might lead to more heart-felt interactions with others?

Am I focusing too much on mental concepts, “social norms”, or political affiliations? What are my expectations in connection to causes connected to a better future? Am I feeling overwhelmed with too much social connecting out there in the world?

The solution of a T-Square always lies within the “Empty Leg”, the point located opposite the Focus Point of the T-Square; so in this case: Leo.

When we explore our inner child and what makes us happy, in the here and now… when we become more playful and self-expressed from the heart… when we focus on love and joy… all these bring relief from the stresses of social interactions and social expectations.

Ask yourself: What adventures would my heart want to explore? Where might humor bring relief? What could I express creatively that would inspire others to follow their authentic heart?

To sum it all up: this Lunar Eclipse challenges us to rethink our interactions with others, use our power wisely, and remember we are all interconnected and thus in this vast social experiment together. Hating on others or disconnecting from them is not going to change that!

Use the power of this Lunar Eclipse to get grounded in your physical and emotional body, break up any stagnation in your system or your relationships, and accelerate your transformation by immersing yourself in a deeper connection to all of life.

Here are a few final coaching questions for this Lunar Eclipse: If letting go always brought more peace, what would I dare to release? If I knew for certain that holding on kept me small, could I then simply let go, as best I could?

Where am I holding on to addictions or obsessions that leave me feeling less happy in the end? How could my breath support me in effortlessly releasing the “old” and allowing the “new” to flow in? If my breath gave my body the message that “all is well”, would I consider implementing “conscious breathing” more often?

Remember: When enough of us are able to keep our energy levels high, and authentically integrate all of who we are, those who rely on the denser energies will either change or leave…

Ask yourself often: What if I were in human form at this time to assist with the birthing of a new and higher collective consciousness on Earth?

Please keep in mind that we are still in Eclipse season until Jan. 2nd! So, as best you can, trust that whatever is leaving is making space for something better — the more willing we are to change, the easier it will be.

Stay both grounded and flexible — and don’t jump the gun for the next 6.5 weeks if you feel compelled to do something, do your best to simply observe the urge. The exception would be something that just happens organically, but if you are ambivalent about a possible action, better to hold off until Eclipse Season ends on Jan 2nd.

Because Eclipses are so powerful, they require a bigger orb than a regular Full or New Moon. I usually use a 5º orb instead of 2º… so since this Lunar Eclipse takes place in 27 degrees of Taurus:

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 22-29 degrees of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, Aquarius, or 0-2 degrees of Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo, or Pisces? If so, you are more affected by this month’s powerful Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Full Moon in Aries – the article

On Wednesday Oct. 20th, at 10:57am EDT, the Sun opposes the Moon in 27.5 degrees of AriesThe Moon in pioneering, fast-paced Aries makes an opposition to the Sun in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra.

Generally, a Full Moon brings our attention to our “emotional body”, increasing our awareness of what has been suppressed or ignored. This is especially true for this particular Full Moon — for much of this month, we are invited to direct our attention toward deeper self-care and more authentic connections to our emotional bodies. If you are a site Member, you may also want to watch my video on the subject.

We also have three exalted planets in this Full Moon chart: Pluto, Jupiter & Mercury. All three of them ended their various Retrograde phases just recently, and are still moving quite slowly trying to get up to their “regular” speed — so we can feel their energies stronger than usual.

The Aries/Libra polarity directs our awareness to the roles we identify with in our various one-on-one relationships — and this Full Moon is thus a call to take action on those roles.

In particular, it brings the focus to “independence”, so ask yourself: Where do I need to be more assertive? More accommodating? Less? Where have I been too independent? Too dependent? What roles or contracts need to be revisited? Or perhaps simply accepted for what they are?

This also involves the balance of feminine and masculine energies within ourselves, our relationships, and our world. Ask: Where have these energies gone out of balance? What happens when there is too much masculine? Too much feminine?

The higher vibrations of Aries include: courage and strength, openness towards the new, directness, assertiveness, and a healthy sense of identity.

The higher vibrations of Libra include: the ability to collaborate and connect on equal footing, and  achieve balanced or fair outcomes; our capacity for objectivity, dialogue and diplomacy, cooperation and composure.

Every Full Moon illuminates the shadow side of each sign as well. The “denser/lower” vibrations of Aries can be…

Every Full Moon illuminates the shadow side of each sign as well. The “denser/lower” vibrations of Aries can be rash, impulsive, insensitive, and, at worst, combative or destructive. The shadow side of Libra is indecisive, superficial, and submissive — always looking for approval.

Connecting with the highest vibration of Aries will help us stay away from the denser vibrations of Libra and vice versa.

Mars (the ruler of Aries) is currently in Libra, and still conjuncts the Sun in Libra, so being active and taking action comes quite easily and naturally with this alignment.

Ask yourself: If I had plenty of energy to take care of something that was dear to my heart, what might that be? Are any new collaborations waiting to be launched? What needs me to initiate or inspire a win-win outcome?

This alignment in Libra makes a Trine to Jupiter in Aquarius (Jupiter is still exalted until Oct. 24th). This combo gives us a positive attitude with others, which helps us to take risks that get us unstuck. We have the vigor to blast through challenges now. Use this aspect to tackle anything that seemed impossible in the past 😉

Ask yourself: Where am I pining for a greater connection with others? What might be possible if I kept inspiring others? Or kept being the change I want to see in the world?

On the day of the Full Moon, the Moon Squares Pluto in Capricorn. This creates a T-Square involving the Full Moon and Mars in Libra —with Pluto as the Focus point of the T-square. This is inviting us to make some adjustments and find creative ways to work with the energies at play. So, what are these energies?

On the one hand, we are aware of the importance of collaboration and “fairness”; on the other, we see that following our inner compass and taking care of our own needs is essential as well.

At the same time, we are also feeling a very strong pull toward deep, emotional authenticity and being truthful about what we want to build long-term — out there in the world.

All this places a lot of stress on Pluto in Capricorn, pressuring us to let go of what is destructive — either to ourselves or to others. Also, Pluto is still exalted until Oct. 21st, due to its Station phase. We may feel a stronger need for empowerment, when it comes to our social achievements and career aspirations that we can’t fully pursue, because of personal or relationship/fairness issues.

We are being invited to learn that true power comes from within- from knowing and accepting the truth, by facing the dark, making conscious what has been unconscious.

Since Pluto represents the process of our deepest empowerment (through transformation and integration of Shadow issues), and the place where we align with our divine purpose, we may feel an intense focus on, or obsession about, our long-term goals — in fact, we could be facing our worst fears right now.

Ask yourself: What am I most scared about when it comes to my accomplishments? Am I experiencing a loss of control at this time? Might surrendering my fears around long-term social or economic issues give me a sense of peace?

What if there was a higher power that would ultimately empower everyone who lives full-out from a place of self-responsibility, integration, and whole-heartedness?

Accidents, illness, and deep losses are often orchestrated by our higher self, guiding us to make a journey towards greater authenticity and empowerment.

What feels disempowering? How might being grounded in the present moment and maintaining focus on what “I actually have control over” serve me at this time?

Am I allowing myself to listen to the deepest calling of my Soul? What if I already have within me precisely that which would most help me accomplish what I desire deep down? If that were so, what might that be?

Since Pluto in Capricorn is the most challenged part of this T-Square, the solution lies in theempty leg” which lands in Cancer. We are invited to empower ourselves at home, with loved ones, and to focus on Self-care. This is also an invitation to balance our obsessions around an empowered career with our focus on getting plenty of rest, healthy nourishment, and affection.

Ask yourself: What would a powerful approach to Self-care look like at home? With family? Elsewhere?

How might nurturing myself support my self-connection? My connection to others? The world at large? How might it support my career ambitions? What if Self-care was a first step toward meaningful achievement?

How could I nurture myself to the point that I am at once connected to others and yet completely independent? What role does inner safety (physical and emotional) play in all of this?

There is also a need to clear repressed emotions, release old patterns, and reclaim the power of the feminine. Ask yourself: Where do I need to challenge the status quo? Where do I need to pull out the sword of truth? Where must I let go of being a victim and reclaim my power?

Venus (the ruler of Libra), currently in Sagittarius, makes a Quincunx to Uranus in Taurus. This aspect operates more on an internal level — an unexpected turn of events could leave us uneasy or unsettled. This could also indicate a certain degree of restlessness and energetic discomfort in our interactions with others.

Ask yourself: If I really worked at it, how flexible could I be for the next two weeks? What needs to shift internally, so I can stay open and aligned with my unique talents, values, and preferences?

Am I feeling particularly uncomfortable with mine or other people’s beliefs at this time? Am I feeling particularly impatient? Do I have certain preferences or perspectives that others are unable to align with? Do I have expectations or attitudes about this?

Mercury in Libra (still exalted until Oct. 23rd) opposes Chiron in Aries and trines Saturn in Aquarius.

The Opposition to Chiron in Aries has a lot of potential for healing our interactions with others…. We may feel more sensitive and insecure about what we identify with, and around our ability to be assertive.

Ask yourself: What are my sensitivities around self-identity? Where am I limited? What am I feeling most insecure about? What if these feelings and limitations were an invitation to self-compassion, self-acceptance, and understanding?

How might engaging with others in a fair and balanced fashion further heal my self-relationship? How might being more accepting of myself despite (or even including) my self-doubt make me a more compassionate collaborator and ally?

If you feel triggered by someone else (or vice versa), as best as you can, direct compassion and kindness towards both of you. Ask yourself: Is this connected to my past and/or upbringing? What if this were an opportunity to embrace my wounded inner child with love and kindness? What about embracing someone else’s wounded inner child?

Mercury’s Trine to Saturn in Aquarius brings an opportunity for building solid, truthful foundations for our society’s future. We “get to the point”, with no wasted time or words. The reality of our social connections gets clearer and our thought processes are more realistic.

Ask yourself: What works and what doesn’t work in my one-on-one relationships? What seems really clear about my social connections to others at this time?

What needs to be said to create better social structures for humanity’s future — a future that is sustainable? What would it look like to speak my truth and temper it with adult caution and moderation?

To sum it all up, for this Full Moon: The strongest message of this Full Moon remains that of having a healthy relationship with our own inner feminine and masculine energies.

Ask yourself: How well do I love and take care of myself? Where do I still tend to give more than I receive, or withhold, rather than share?

How much have I balanced my inner masculine and feminine sides? What if I already knew how to experience this balance? What if my inner personal sense of it was more valuable than society’s?

We must face our worst fears, own our shadow, and align with our divine mission.

Remember: We are in a critical phase of our spiritual growth, during which we are asked to questions and release all that is holding us back: dysfunctional and restrictive relationships, belief systems, social conditioning, addictions, negative habits and thought patterns, possessions that take up too much of our time and effort, etc. As best as you can, see this as an opportunity — allow, rather than resist 😉

Aries & Libra are both extroverted, social signs — yet Pluto in Capricorn asks us to go deeper within ourselves to understand what fully empowers us in the world at large.

We are invited to integrate split aspects of ourselves. In order to do that, we need to look at our emotional conditioning, and empower the rejected and denied parts of ourselves.

Ask yourself: How do the ways we relate to ourselves and others also reveal how we relate to control, surrender, and trust? What if I placed 5% more focus on my connection to my emotional body and what feels empowering to me?

Keep in mind for the next two weeks: When we get plenty of rest, we can accomplish more, in less time!

If nothing else, do your best to remember that we all signed up for this journey to become a spiritual, fully human adult that exists in an ever-expanding, multidimensional realm of physicality… Not always an easy feat… So, if nothing else works, turn it over to your Higher Power; your Soul Power.

Do your best to remain open, and nurture yourself while digging deeper to truly understand your own emotional needs. This will help you connect to others and yourself from a place of strength and autonomy. For more details on this powerful Full Moon, click here and watch my video on the subject:

All of this is especially true for those of us with personal planets or points in 25-29 degrees of Aries, Libra, Cancer, Capricorn, or 0 degrees of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo or Aquarius. Personal planets are the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars; personal points are the Ascendent or MC (aka Career point).

Full Moon in Pisces – the article

On Monday Sept. 20th, at 7:55pm EDT, the Sun opposes the Moon in 28 degrees of Pisces. The Moon in creative, free-flowing Pisces makes an opposition to the Sun in detail-oriented, practical Virgo — the entrance of the Moon into Pisces on Sept. 18th starts the energetic build up towards this Full Moon — if you are already a Member of my online community, you may also want to watch my video on the subject: click here.

On Sept. 20th, we can ask ourselves: How far have we come since the Sept. 6th New Moon? What can we see now that was not apparent then?

This Full Moon has six planets in Retrograde motion: Jupiter, Saturn, Chiron, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. This indicates a strong need for inner processing and aligning ourselves with those planetary energies from within. It’s a necessary phase of re-evaluation, restructuring, and letting go.

Things appear to slow down during a retrograde passage, as internal shifts must happen before we can progress; once a planet turns direct, we feel ready to move forward in that area of life.

Three of the six planets I mentioned above will start to go direct in October (Jupiter, Saturn & Pluto), and at that point, we will get the opportunity to bring all of our inner discoveries from the previous 4-5 months to the outside world.

For a more in-depth interpretation of your own chart, in connection with Saturn’s & Pluto’s Station Direct phases, join us live for the Forum on Sept. 17thor get the mp4-video presentation of the live event. Either way, register here now (unless you are already a Star Member — in that case, you are automatically registered).

And if you are reading this on or after Sept. 17th, feel free to get the mp4-video presentation of this webinar here.

With this Full Moon, we are also dealing with two stationing planets — Mercury & Pluto — Mercury in Libra is preparing to start its 3-week Retrograde phase on Sept. 27th, and is therefore exalted at the time of the Full Moon; Pluto in Capricorn is preparing to end its 5-months Retrograde phase on Oct. 6th, and will be exalted until Oct. 21st.

We are getting ready to retrace our steps (Mercury in Libra), and are seeking empowerment when it comes to our long-term goals or social structures (Pluto in Capricorn).

Now let’s first address this Full Moon’s polarities: The Virgo/Pisces polarity has to do with our ability to connect the head with the heart, logic with intuition, matter with spirit. So the question is: how do we integrate Pisces and Virgo?

This may seem a challenging question, given Virgo’s leaning toward…

This may seem a challenging question, given Virgo’s leaning toward detailed, analytical understanding, in contrast with Pisces‘ call to open our hearts and allow for all (including things that seem paradoxical to the mind). In fact, on an energetic level there is no separation, everything is interconnected — we need both left- and right-brain (the logical and the creative).

Ask yourself: What if nothing and no one were separate? Appearing to be different, yes, but not separate…

Virgo (which is connected to our mental processes) analyzes, whereas Pisces (which is connected to our intuitive processes) feels, senses.

Virgo seeks physical wholeness, while Pisces reminds us of a greater wholeness — a spiritual wholeness — our interconnectedness with all of life, the allowing of all the mysteries of life.

To be at its best, Virgo aims for practical applications and to be of service, while Pisces learns to listen to inner/intuitive guidance above all else, using its imagination to bring love and light into this world, to sprinkle mystery fairy dust, and to create Paradise on Earth.

When these two archetypes are balanced within, we discern without judgment, serve with an open heart, and improve our daily lives without getting hung up on timing or perfectionism, bringing love and compassion to all of life’s apparent curveballs.

That said, let’s also talk about the shadow side of those signs, as we do with all Full Moons:

Virgo’s shadow side is self-deprecation and judgment; the latter creates separation from others and a split within ourselves. Ask yourself:  What if I did 5% less “perfection” and 5% more “process improvement”? What if it were ok to not know everything 100%? Could I be of service to others while also improving my own understanding of things?

How might “making mistakes” be beneficial to me? What if I celebrated “mistakes” as stepping stones to a better life?

Simply observe: Does my inner dialog observe and discern what is productive vs. what is unproductive (i.e. what works or what doesn’t)? Or do I label things as “good or bad”, “right or wrong”?

You could say that Pisces is an antidote to judgment: in its lightest expression, it understands that we are all souls in various states of development, with different paths in the world — we are all love at our core, and everything is ultimately an expression or variation of love.

The shadow side of Pisces is a lack of boundaries, getting lost in illusions, fantasies, and escapism of various sorts (this stems from being highly sensitive, feeling everything, and becoming overwhelmed).

As you may have guessed, the remedy for the Pisces shadow lies in the lighter vibrations of Virgo; these include the ability to focus on what works (versus what doesn’t), to make practical choices, and to make the best use of our daily engagements while taking care of our physical wellbeing.

When the Pisces– and Virgo-energies are integrated, we marry a clear, observant mind with a compassionate and loving heart — a mind in partnership with our intuitive sensing!

Ask yourself: What tools might shift my view of reality from either/or, to both/and? From the mind-activity of “wanting to understand” and “know” to the heart-activity of true understanding?

Let’s look at some of the aspects of this Full Moon:

The Moon in Pisces aligns with Neptune (which is the ruler of Pisces, and has been in its own sign since April 2011). This is a call to extend compassion, acceptance, or forgiveness to family, the “mother archetype”, home, and our past in general (collectively and individually speaking). Unconditional love for our feeling-body and our responses towards the world is also very helpful right now.

We may feel more sensitive — more tuned-in to other people’s feelings or suffering — and this gives us the opportunity to experience the full range of all feelings as they arise, and to sense our interconnectedness with everything around us.

Ask yourself: What would it look like if I allowed the flow of all feelings? If I allowed my heart to soften? Could I be 5% more open to the beauty all around me? How might nature be my teacher in all of this?

If I start to feel overwhelmed by what I am feeling or experiencing, could I simply give myself 10 minutes to connect to nature in some way?

Spiritual practices are also wonderful here, of course (such as meditation, breathing exercises, mindfulness exercises, etc.); the same is true of spiritual/energetic healing modalities like Reiki, “Access Consciousness Bars”, shiatsu, acupuncture, etc. These can all help us tap into the higher vibrations of Pisces (and the Neptune-energy as well).

What else can help us experience our connection to “the all”? The creative flow of dance, singing, music, sound, etc. — and of course, positive emotions such as love, gratitude, and compassion.

The Moon/Neptune alignment in Pisces also sextiles Pluto in Capricorn, and the Sun in Virgo makes a Trine to Pluto.

Let’s start with the Sextile to Pluto in Capricorn: Surrendering our fears about our position in the world and our achievements gets a little easier; we have the opportunity to be guided by inspiration, and feel empowered about a project or task that might serve us long-term, or as a society.

Ask yourself: How might a compassionate heart help me surrender my fears in connection to past trauma or disempowerment? What has been in my face lately when it comes to such fears?

Remember Pluto is stationing at the time of the Full Moon. Again, we will investigate Pluto’s Station phase in more detail during our upcoming Forecasting Forum on Sept. 17th, feel free to join us for that deeper investigation into your own chart. And if you are reading this on or after Sept. 17th, feel free to get the mp4-video presentation of this webinar here.

Is it at least possible that combining my imagination with trust in divine guidance would support me in effortlessly reaching my deep desire for an empowered experience in society?

The Sun’s Trine to Pluto supports clarity around whatever fears, behaviors, or destructive patterns have been holding us back. Ask yourself: How could my discernment and practical decision-making abilities help me manifest a passionate experience of my long-term goals? What empowers me that is sustainable and healthy?

Since the Sun opposes the Moon and Neptune in Pisces, we feel a heightened sense of empathy, creativity, and intuitive connections, over the next two weeks.

The Sun in Virgo also aligns with Mars in Libra. You might ask, how is this possible, if they are not even in the same sign? Since the Sun is in a late degree of Virgo and Mars is in an early degree of Libra, they are less than 6 degrees apart, so even though they are no longer in the same sign, they are still influencing each other.

This alignment gives us the courage to look at what isn’t working and actively collaborate with others to improve our current daily experiences. It also might stir up impatience and frustration when things don’t line up right away. Should this show up for you in the next two weeks, ask yourself: What might shift if I trusted the timing of everything that is currently unfolding?

Mars in Libra trines Saturn in Aquarius and the North Node in Gemini, creating yet another Grand Trine in the Air element (we also experienced this in the last couple of Lunations). Collaboration and conscious connection comes more easily.

Ask yourself: Who might welcome an open-minded, socially responsible, balanced and sustainable collaboration? Where can I build mutual respect with others?

Mercury (the ruler of Virgo) is currently in Libra, and exalted. Mercury squares Pluto in Capricorn (also exalted), and trines Jupiter in Aquarius. Let’s unpack that:

Mercury’s Square to Pluto in Capricorn creates some tension in our lives. We may feel anxious or stressed by one or more situations or interactions concerning one-on-one relationships.

We are being asked to find creative solutions and be completely honest with ourselves and others. The best way to achieve this is by the continual practice of self-care and self-nurturing. Mercury and Pluto are both exalted at the time of this Full Moon, so this aspect will be quite strong!

Ask yourself: How can I empower myself and others 5% more today? How might an increase of Self-care support this desire for empowered conversations and connections? What needs to be said? What doesn’t?

If I observe an “all-or-nothing” attitude in myself, could I give myself permission to relax into the “love-energy” that always resides inside of me? Could I acknowledge first and then release any fears or concerns connected to achievements or relationships?

Mercury’s Trine to Jupiter in Aquarius makes for quite a “heady” and idealistic experience — it’s all about thinking big and innovating. This harmonious connection strengthens our ability to connect and collaborate with others.

Ask yourself: What are my expectations or attitudes towards the collective experience? What new vantage point might show me how to reinvent myself and my vision for “my people”?

Let’s also talk about: Venus in Scorpio making a Square to Saturn in Aquarius, making a Quincunx to Chiron in Aries, and opposing Uranus in Taurus, at the time of the Full Moon. These are all challenging aspects that could potentially create triggers, blockages, or some unexpected pulling away from others.

Venus’ Square to Saturn in Aquarius has us be more cautious when it comes to relationships and finances now. The key is to approach both from a place of deeper emotional authenticity and maturity rather than from attachment to a certain outcome.

Ask yourself: How might slowing down and taking it one step at a time be beneficial for my relationships and my finances right now? What if doing just that would strengthen my approach and make for better results?

Venus’ Quincunx to Chiron in Aries could make social interactions somewhat awkward. We may also have a hard time making financial decisions that feel satisfactory. As best as you can, bring a good dose of compassion and understanding to yourself and embrace your own humanity as much as possible… and remember: like everything else, this is only temporary 😉

Ask yourself: Could I give myself permission to have a human experience? To feel what I am feeling? To be compassionate toward myself and others when feelings come up? To go deeper on my healing journey towards an emotionally authentic place?

Venus’ Opposition to Uranus in Taurus calls us to balance “intimate togetherness” with “having our physical space”.

Ask yourself:  If there were a way to fully honor my individuality in my intimate relationships, without needing to pull or push away… what might that way be? Could I shake things up a little, without being oppositional or offensive?

To sum it all up: This Full Moon teaches us about opening our hearts, and places an emphasis on improving all levels of our being. It is important to remember that Spirit is never separate from matter. One informs the other. We are all eternal, spiritual beings, learning how to be human.

Ask yourself: If I knew in advance that all will work out for the best, what would I be willing to endure? What actions would I take? Would doing my own research give me information that is in alignment with my own experience of things? What conclusions might I come to if I trusted my sixth sense?

Over the next two weeks, we are invited to allow for the flow of things and let go of destructive attachments and connections.

Ask yourself: Do I have fears or concerns that keep me from making progress and experiencing inner peace in my life?

Most of all, this Full Moon and the coming months urge us to be spiritual warriors, to consciously face our fears, and know that the ultimate challenge lies within. Fear negatively impacts our decision making capacity and makes us highly susceptible to manipulation and control.

For the next two weeks, ask yourself: How can I best discern between healthy fears, which require an immediate response to avoid harm, and unhealthy fears, which stem from a limited perception of who I am?

As best as you can, stay grounded in love, not fear. Stay curious and open-minded. Be direct without offending others. We are all on an extraordinary, unprecedented evolutionary journey; the faster things appear to happen, the more important it is to slow down.

Ask yourself: What if the greatest gift I could give myself over the next two weeks was the liberation of my heart-energies?

What might change for me if I approached everything from a neutral place, without judgment, “right or wrong”, personal opinions? What if I simply observed, like a scientist?

What if I allowed “the observed” to be exactly what it is, without needing to change it? Maybe even giving it some space?

Remember: Each “now moment” is a “new moment” — and each new moment empowers us to make new choices, if we choose to do so 😉

Two consecutive Moons in the same sign is particularly interesting because of the degree in which they become exact — usually an exalted degree — and the current Full Moon becomes exact in 29.5 degrees of Aquarius. This is indeed an exalted degree, because it is the last degree of the sign, and therefore the last chance for any transiting celestial body to express itself before changing signs.

This would indicate a strong urge to complete something — most likely something that started with the first Full Moon in 1.5º of Aquarius on July 23rd — and therefore is connected to social interactions, a desire for progress in connection to our vision for humanity, or our future in general.

The last time we had two consecutive Full Moons in the same sign was in the Spring of 2019, in Libra-Aries — and the last one in Aquarius-Leo was on July 22 & Aug. 20th, 2013 — and the one before that was way back in 2002, on July 24 & Aug. 22nd of that year, to be exact.

Ask yourself: What was important to me in the summers of 2013 and 2002? What of that is asking to be completed over the next two weeks? Where am I looking to transition to the next level?

With any Full Moon, we see things previously hidden, and get a chance to make some changes if we don’t like what we see. Given this, ask yourself: What keeps happening since July 23rd in my social networks or interactions? What needs adjusting? What needs outright change?

Something else that makes this Full Moon chart deeply unusual — even unique, in my experience — is six retrograde planets (bear in mind that there are only 9 planets that can even go retrograde)! So which ones are they? Jupiter, Saturn, Chiron, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto — all are retrograde at the time of the Full Moon, which means that we have a chance to get more in tune with all of their energies.

Uranus, although retrograde after Aug. 19th, is still stationing/exalted until Sept. 2nd! (go to Aug. 5th – Weekly Forecasts for details, or watch the webinar: “Uranus in Taurus Exalted, August 2021”. I highly recommend this! Click here for more info or to purchase.).

When Retrograde, we access the energies of these 6 planets from…

When Retrograde, we access the energies of these 6 planets from the inside out, turning our attention towards what is no longer in alignment with our innermost Selves — in other words, it’s inner work: rethink, research, rectify, reduce, repair, restructure, reconcile, release, and/or relinquish. It seems fitting that a “re-trograde” should point us at lots of other “re-” words!

Ask yourself: Is the outside world aligned with my inner world? If the answer is “no”, ask yourself: Where are the gaps? Where are the friction points? Where might I start to close some of those gaps? Where could I move away from what “rubs me the wrong way” and thus creates friction?

What inner changes or growth would let me move forward? Where am I called to repair what’s not working? To release what is no longer viable? To realign with my Soul-intentions?

The more we clear out that inner clutter, the bigger the steps we can take when three of the outer planets move forward in October (Pluto on Oct. 6th, Saturn on Oct. 10th, and Jupiter on Oct. 17th).

Please note that these next six weeks will be especially powerful if your Ascendant or Sun-sign is in Scorpio, Capricorn or Sagittarius.

Remember, doing the inner work is just as important as making progress in the outer world — the “Inner Universe” informs the outer — one cannot happen without the other 😉

We discussed the Aquarius-Leo polarity at length in the first Aquarius Full Moon video, posted in July, click here to hear about that polarity — so for this article, let’s focus on the aspects connected to this month’s Full Moon chart, starting with Mercury:

Mercury yet again plays a major role in this Full Moon chart, making several aspects with other celestial bodies:

First, it aligns with Mars in Virgo, which might speed up our thinking… and lead us to take things more personally, and to speak impulsively.

As best as you can, observe and discern, rather than judge. Consider all the facts, and ask yourself: Would I rather be right or would I rather be happy?

If you find yourself becoming impatient, draw a deep breath into your lower belly, and feel the breath soothing and clearing your mind…

Ask yourself: What if that voice in my head, that narrates and comments on everything, was just an aspect of who I am, or even just something I’m aware of, and not the totality of who I am? And if I’m more than just that voice, what else am I — in other words, what is beyond “thinking”?

Some more questions you can try out: What if that voice was just a program running in, or even just arising in, my conscious awareness? What if I gave that voice 5% less of my focus? What do I notice when I direct that newly spare 5% of attention to this moment, connecting with my direct experience of life, right here, right now?

The Mercury/Mars alignment in Virgo trines an exalted Uranus in Taurus (Uranus being the modern ruler of Aquarius) and Pluto in Capricorn. Here, we are looking to reinvent our relationship to health and our body (trine to Uranus).

We are also being invited to focus on what we actually have control over, and surrender any fears about the outside world and its structures, rules, and regulations — all those things that we do not have control over (trine to Pluto).

Ask yourself: What is healthy for me personally at this time? What works for me? What doesn’t? Could I honor what my body needs, even if it is different from what other people need at this time? If my body had a say in this, what might it be saying to me?

How could I be 5% more discerning about what I accept as true? Where does the information I currently receive come from? Does it empower me or create more fear and anxiety within me or in my environment?

What might a review of my current daily habits show me? How could I work 5% smarter rather than 1% harder? Is there any clutter in my life that is asking to be removed at this time?

The day after the Full Moon becomes exact, on Aug. 23rd, Mercury reaches 19.5 degrees of Virgo and squares the degree of June 10th’s Solar Eclipse. This represents a turning point in our thinking.

As best as you can, observe how this plays out for you, and ask yourself: What needs an adjustment in my thinking or my inner dialog? What creative solutions might clear the way for me to appreciate the differences in opinions that I see or hear — with an open heart?

What intentions did I set at the time of the Solar Eclipse in June? What might I see if I kept both my eyes and my mind open? How might objectivity and flexibility support me at this time?

Mercury also opposes Neptune in Pisces at the time of the Full Moon. This opposition will be exact on Aug. 24th. As best as you can, balance left- and right-brain activities. Ask yourself: What role does intuition play in my “thinking” and “doing”? What about my imagination?

If you identify as a very creative, spiritual person, see if you can bring a dash of a more logical, scientific flavor to the table. If you are generally a very rational, fact-based individual, see if you can add a dash of imagination and creativity. If you are quite balanced in this regard already, observe that balance and get present as to what degree one or the other shows up, depending on what you are doing or thinking.

Now, let’s talk about the Moon/Jupiter alignment in Aquarius! We feel optimistic — and that helps us attract positive circumstances. Over the next two weeks, any and all of the following can serve as vehicles for emotional growth: like-minded affiliations, communities, causes, progress-oriented collaborations, cultural exchanges and education.

Given that we strongly prefer to see the good in the world at this time, this is an excellent time to resolve conflicts, especially those that lie within our various communities, be they online or in-person. Humor can play a big role in our interactions as well.

Ask yourself: Where does all this expansive energy that’s coming through want to go? How might I use it to my advantage? Could I use it to feel more emotionally connected to my communities? To the world?

Our perspective on issues can be delightfully unusual, insightful, and ingenious. As best as you can, explore your beliefs in connection with humanity’s future, and seek for a vision from a larger vantage point.

Ask yourself: What does individual and collective freedom look like to me? What road might lead to greater freedom? What might open up if I became more open-minded? What if I took a 5% more positive attitude towards humanity and individual humans?

Saturn, the traditional ruler of Aquarius, is currently in the sign it co-rules with Uranus, and it trines Venus in Libra and the North Node in Gemini. This creates a Grand Trine in the Air-Element (and a kite configuration with the South Node in Sagittarius).

If we so choose, this Grand Trine will help us raise our vibrations, making it easier to connect with others while staying open-minded, and also helping us stay committed to long-term partnerships or friendships. Collaboration comes more easily, as long as we remember to be aware, and provided we release any dogmatic or intolerant conditioning from the past.

Ask yourself: Who might welcome a dialogue (or even a collaboration) that is open-minded, socially responsible, sustainable? Where can I build mutual respect with others? Could I be 5% more aware of any mental conditioning that has me act in a self-righteous way? Or in a xenophobic way?

To sum it all up: Since we are invited to reinvent our relationship to nature and our physical experience, ask yourself: In what ways could I purify my body, my mind and my spirit? What would clear some space in my daily life for implementing healthy routines?

Now, Aquarius’ spiritual task is the attainment of unity in diversity, the honoring of the uniqueness and equality of each person; the darker, denser side of Aquarius becomes antisocial and hypocritical, with a disconnect between head and heart, word and action.

Ask yourself: What has shown up in these past four weeks in connection with the lighter and denser vibrations of the Aquarian energies? Can I recognize the part I play in all of this?

Am I ready to embrace diversity? To honor the uniqueness and therefore the underlying equality of each person alive? How might a conscious connection between head and heart serve me and my communities?

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in the following: 27-29 degrees of Aquarius, Leo, Taurus, Scorpio, or 0-2 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you may feel the effects of this Full Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (since the Sun rules Leo and the Moon rules Cancer).

Full Moon in Aquarius – the article

On July 23rd, at 10:37pm EDT, the Full Moon in 1.5 degrees of Aquarius becomes exact. The Moon in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius opposes the Sun in fun-loving, expressive Leo. If you are already a Member of my online community, you can click here to watch my video about this Full Moon 😉

Uranus in Taurus (the modern ruler of Aquarius), is still in a Square aspect to Saturn (the traditional ruler of Aquarius) in this Full Moon chart. The Moon in Aquarius makes an out-of-sign conjunction with Pluto, and approaches a conjunction with Saturn in Aquarius. There are also three Oppositions and three Quincunxes in this Full Moon chart.

Oppositions require integration and balance, whereas Quincunxes invite us to make some inner adjustments, as we may be experiencing some internal discomfort. Two of those three Quincunxes are inviting us to pay closer attention to our health. These are the major themes of this Full Moon chart and we will address them in detail in a moment.

But first, let’s talk about this Full Moon:

The Moon in Aquarius opposes the Sun in Leo; this highlights the power of our individual creativity and the exponential potency of collaboration. Each of us is invited to reclaim ourselves, and add our voice, heart, and hands to something that has meaning for us.

The invitation here is to dare to be different, and to remember how we are all part of a larger whole. The highest quest of Leo leads to authentic Self-expression: to embody our gifts, shine our light, and live our truth. The highest task of Aquarius, on the other hand, is the attainment of unity in diversity, where everyone’s uniqueness is honored and included.

When we align our head with our heart, we feel our interconnectedness with all of humanity, and we create and connect from love instead of fear. Given that Leo represents our individual self-expression and Aquarius our vision for humankind, a question is raised: How can we best achieve a balance between these two energies? Or perhaps even an integration?

For the next two weeks, we’ll be looking for answers to this question, as we might become more aware that something is out of alignment.

Even the brightest of Full Moons has a shadow side — so let’s take a look at the shadow of both signs involved in this Full Moon — and please note that the shadow side of any sign is usually not as comfortable to look at or easy to embrace.

As always with shadow aspects of ourselves, we need to beware of getting triggered and jumping to conclusions; we need to make sure we take time to respond rather than react. So here are the shadow sides of this Full Moon — let’s start with Leo’s shadow side:

So here are the shadow sides of this Full Moon — let’s start with Leo’s shadow side:

Leo’s shadow can show up as self-centeredness or narcissism — picture a child that cannot see beyond itself, is not aware of other people in the room, and cannot look past the current moment to the consequences down the line.

Ask yourself: Where in my life do I take things too personally? If I’m being completely honest, have I ever created drama when I couldn’t see a way to possess what I desire? Where do I tend to be self-indulgent? What role does pride play?

In order to develop a healthy connection to our inner child, we must learn to keep an open heart and let ourselves be playful and creative; we must also learn to express our needs and desires, so we can have open, authentic conversations with other people. This requires courage and self-confidence.

So ask yourself: What if I expressed myself with 5% more courage? What might open up if I did that with my heart as my center? What might my world look like if I allowed my light to shine just 5% brighter?

Now let’s look at Aquarius’s shadow side: this can show up when we get overly attached to the mind and its functions, especially idealized visions, rigid thinking about the future, etc. “Headiness” kicks in and the mind’s activity goes to an all-time high.

The shadow side of Aquarius may hold lofty ideals, but leave us unaware how we ourselves must “be the change we wish to see in the world” — instead, we want others to be that change 😉

The classic setup here sees us disconnecting from inner moment-to-moment joy for the sake of improving our future, “humanity”, or “the world at large” — the latter two stem from Aquarius’s association with group-consciousness and group-mind.

We might also shy away from standing out, from a fear of rejection or ostracism, so ask yourself (and be really honest with yourself here): How have I avoided following my heart so I can “keep in with the crowd” or a particular group of people? What might I do differently if I gave 5% less energy to fears of ridicule or rejection?

As mentioned earlier, we are invited to balance and integrate the two polarities involved — we are, in fact, invited to merge them to bring about a brighter future for humankind, so ask yourself: What would it look like if I gave the go-ahead for that merger? What if I chose, right here and now, to contribute to humanity from a courageous, heart-centered, and authentic place? What if I simply chose that, right now?

This also means it’s important to be especially aware and responsible when connecting with others; as best as you can, therefore, get present and ask yourself: What am I bringing forth? What are my intentions? Am I coming from love and the heart? Or fear and survival?

Now let’s take a look at some of the aspects of this Full Moon chart: Let’s first start with the rulers of Aquarius: Saturn & Uranus.

As we have already discussed several times this year, Saturn and Uranus make a long-term Square to each other that will last, off and on, until December of 2022.

Since we have already been dealing with this aspect since January of this year, ask yourself: What did I learn since January about myself, others, or society as a whole, in connection with spaciousness? How about when it comes to Freedom? Differences? Allowing myself to feel uncomfortable?

In general, Squares to Uranus require a major shift in our priorities and strategies; sudden changes and even radical breaks with the past are possible right now, potentially shaking us out of stagnant patterns. Ask yourself: Where might a new chapter in my life be waiting to open? What ideas and insights hint at that opening?

The Saturn-Uranus aspect asks us to stretch a little (or a lot) individually and collectively. We are invited to stay detached in our social dealing with others — honoring our own individuality without making anyone else wrong for being different or “themselves”, or having different preferences.

Ask yourself: Where do I need to “think outside the box”? Could I simply “hold space” for things to reorganize themselves physically? How about mentally? Could I allow for this to happen slowly? Without needing to rush into anything? Without pushing others or myself?

Uranus in Taurus will start to feel more exalted from Aug. 5th on, as it is preparing to come to a halt for its yearly Retrograde phase; this will also bring more attention to the Saturn-Uranus Square.

We will talk in more detail about the exalted Uranus in Taurus, as well as the Square, in relationship to our own birth charts, in my next Forecasting Forum on July 23rd at 2pm ET/7pm London-time.

Now back to this Full Moon chart:

The Moon in Aquarius makes an out-of-sign conjunction with Pluto, and approaches a conjunction with Saturn in Aquarius.

Pluto’s involvement, in this Full Moon chart, could foster an all-or-nothing attitude over the next two weeks towards our long-term goals, or our standing in society — in fact, we might become obsessed with those things — and/or a fear of “losing control”.

It’s important to stay heart-centered and grounded — engage tools or people, where possible, to help you let go of your fears and surrender to the Soul-power that resides within you.

If you get obsessed about your accomplishments out there in the world, as best as you can, remind yourself to slow down and take breaks. Ask yourself: Am I driven by fear or love/passion? If fear, worry, concerns, etc. are present, could I simply acknowledge that experience?

If fear shows up, close your eyes, and ask yourself: Is what I am afraid of real right now, or is it a projection into the future? If so, could I let go of “wanting” (aka “expecting”) to create this future for myself? Could I choose more powerfully? Could I choose a future that allows me to feel empowered, no matter the circumstances?

With Saturn’s involvement in this Full Moon chart, we are invited to focus on a long-term vision for our communities that involves a mature and realistic approach — so as best as you can, take your time, and do your best to come from a place of integrity.

Ask yourself: What visions do I have for my various communities – locally or online? Could I stay open to bringing in some new structures, so I can fulfill my vision and create something sustainable?

Now let’s talk about the three Quincunxes in this Full Moon chart: these aspects require a subtle but significant shift in how we perceive and do things via an inner adjustment on our part.

The Moon in Aquarius quincunxes Venus in Virgo; this shows that there are some internal struggles or that adjustments need to be made — we may feel conflicted at times, as we are feeling an internal pull in some very different directions — on the one hand, the desire to gain clarity about what’s important to us on a daily basis, health-wise — and on the other hand, the need to make progress and connect to like-minded people about our collective future.

Other areas of focus: Personal, practical things vs. social, idealistic visions; discerning between what works now vs. progress for the future (or future generations).

Ask yourself: What works for me in my daily health routines? What doesn’t? What do I see now, that I can implement, that I couldn’t before?

Where am I called to make a difference? What could I, as an individual, do for humanity? And how might “group consciousness” help humanity make progress? Where might I begin?

Awareness is key with this aspect: What is needed? And when? How can we take the higher path?

The Sun in Leo quincunxes Jupiter in Pisces: Here, we may want to have some fun, but also explore our connection to our inner divinity. We may want to express our extroverted, creative side, but we also need to expand our ability to tune in to our intuitive inner voice.

Ask yourself: What do I hear when I get really quiet? Am I resting enough? How much fun is too much? What is needed? And when?

Both of these aspects could impact our health and wellbeing if we are not willing to make the necessary adjustments.

And last but not least, Mars in Leo quincunxes Pluto in Capricorn. This feels a little uneasy. We need to develop an inner awareness around our two seemingly opposite pulls: on the one hand, a strong desire to accomplish; on the other, our need for play and fun.

We are asked to bring awareness to whatever it is we feel most passionate about. Check and see: Am I after laughter and joy? Or intense and authentic emotion? What pressures or fears are present at this time?

As best as you can, make adjustments as needed, and drop any self-judgment. This aspect is more emotional in nature and requires a transformative approach. Go deep, use an open heart and conscious awareness to illuminate what is coming to the surface.

Now let’s also talk about the two other oppositions besides the Full Moon/Moon-Sun opposition in Aquarius-Leo:

Oppositions always resonate back to the conjunction of the planets involved. We are looking to see how far we have come since that conjunction. For example, with the Full Moon we are looking back to the previous New Moon, to see what has developed since then.

Venus in Virgo opposes Jupiter in Pisces. This opposition goes back to their conjunction on Feb. 11th of this year, in Aquarius.

Ask yourself: What has developed in my social connections since February? What am I realizing now about those connections? What requires balance and integration when it comes to the ideas and visions that have been initiated since February? What is asking for discernment? What is asking for faith and trust in the divine unfolding of things?

With Jupiter involved in this aspect, we might be feeling overly-optimistic or -enthusiastic, and we might also have a tendency to overestimate our personal or financial capabilities.

Ask yourself: How can I bring 5% more moderation to my physical and spiritual relationship with myself and others? Do I have realistic expectations of myself and others? How about my finances? How discerning do I need to be? What about my health?

How can I follow my spiritual compass and still make practical choices? What daily routines might support my spiritual growth and my physical wellbeing?

Mercury in Cancer opposes Pluto in Capricorn. This opposition goes back to their conjunction on January 4th of this year, in Capricorn.

Ask yourself: What has developed in my career (or in regards to my long-term goals) since January? What am I realizing now about my long-term goals or commitments out there in the world? What requires balance and integration when it comes to my inner and outer world?

With Pluto involved in this aspect, intense conversations and connections feel more “real” than superficial ones; we want to dig out the truth about our feelings and the world we’ve built. However, we also want to be quite aware of whether we empower ourselves and/or others in our interactions — for example, taking things too personally is not recommended.

Ask yourself: How might a focus on nurturing myself feel empowering to myself and others? Could I allow myself to go deeper and tap into my true inner power? One that allows me to keep my heart open? One that allows me to see that all things — the good, the bad, and the ugly — ultimately are part of the creative process, a part of our personal evolution?

Lastly, I also want to mention a harmonious aspect between Mercury in Cancer and Neptune in Pisces: This aspect supports imaginative thinking and the ability to connect our day-to-day mind with our intuition. Compassion and inner knowing can be a big part of this aspect as well. This will certainly be of help to us when engaging with others.

Ask yourself: What do I sense about how my words land with others? What subtle signals am I receiving from others? Am I more aware of mine and others sensitivities? What role might compassion play in my communications and interactions with others?

To sum it all up: This Full Moon highlights the archetypes of individuality and diversity, creativity and collaboration, passion and progress. It urges us to remember we all have an important part to play in humanity’s evolution — that we were born for this challenging transition on Planet Earth.

“We have the opportunity to move from a culture of Separation to a culture of Inter-being… After building civilization after civilization on a premise of fear and separation, it is time for humanity to step into a new way of being.” a Quote by Charles Eisenstein, an American public speaker and author of Sacred Economics. His work covers a wide range of topics, including the history of human civilization, economics, spirituality, and the ecology movement. Key themes explored include anti-consumerism, interdependence, and how myth and narrative influence culture.

A lot of us are waking up to the reality that everything is interconnected, and that life is meant to be lived from a holistic place that includes the heart, the head… in fact, all of who we are: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.

This is also the reason why I created my new Interview Series… if you haven’t watched it before, I invite you to check out the latest interview I did with Yvette Lenhart, a Pilates Instructor & Efficient Full-Body Workout Trainer. Yvette is also co-founder of Strength & Serenity® Wellness Retreats.

I believe it is deeply valuable, in times like these, to surround ourselves with people that have a holistic approach to life.

Having a holistic approach doesn’t mean we compartmentalize the uncomfortable, but rather that we embrace all shadows and imperfections — you might call it “Being Human” 😉

When uncertain, ask to be shown the next step — and at all times, do your best to listen to your body, be extra kind to yourself and others.

And always remember: If you look into your own heart and see the strength and love lying there, you can begin to reclaim yourself, remember your divinity and interdependence, choose love over fear, and lift yourself and humanity out of the old paradigm of separation and scarcity.

Ask yourself: What role do I wish to play at this pivotal time on Earth? Could I be open to the people, places, and situations that will guide me and bring me the next clue? Could I suspend my brilliant theories about the way the world works or used to work? Could I accept the possibility that what I have learned in the past may not be the most reliable guide to understanding the new way of life that is unfolding?

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in the following: 0-4 degrees of Aquarius, Leo, Taurus, Scorpio or 29 degrees of Capricorn, Cancer, Aries or Sagittarius? If so, you may feel the effects of this Full Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Super Full Moon in Capricorn — the article

On June 24th, at 2:40pm EDT, the Moon opposes the Sun in 3.5 degrees of Capricorn. This Full Moon also marks the end of Eclipse season. Yay! We have received our consciousness upgrades and can now move forward with any intentions we set mid-June. For all my Members: If you’d like to learn more about this month’s Full Moon, click here to watch my video

This Full Moon has heightened effects on us for many reasons: first, it is a “SuperFull Moon” (i.e. the Moon is at its closest distance to the Earth).

Secondly, lots of planets are involved in this Super Full Moon chart — Saturn, Neptune, Jupiter, Mercury, Chiron, Uranus, and Mars — and all play an important role, so buckle up!

We have three planets that are stationing (and thus exalted) at the time of this Full Moon — Neptune, Jupiter and Mercury — indicating that something is in our face and demands our awareness; we must pay attention to whatever comes up in connection with those energies.

In addition, we have a fixed T-Square and a Grand Fire Trine in this Full Moon chart, as well as four oppositions, all positively aspected by one of those planets mentioned above (Saturn, Jupiter, Neptune, Chiron and Mars). More details in a moment…

First, let’s take a look at the polarities involved in this Full Moon: The Moon in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn opposes the Sun in protective, feeling-oriented Cancer.

We have a heightened sense that something must be brought into balance and reintegrated; the balance in question is between the connection we have to our feelings and emotional needs, plus our ability to feel emotionally connected to others (symbolized by Cancer), versus our outer obligations or material, practical goals out there in the world (Capricorn).

It’s important to realize that our long-term goals need our attention — and that they could be the very thing that might bring the fulfillment and inner stability we seek. A realistic approach will work best here!

Ask yourself: Where might the balance point be between the demands of my inner and outer life? If I listened 5% more closely to my feelings, my body, and my intuition, might I be able to find that balance point more quickly?

Capricorn seeks to develop an internalized sense of authority and responsibility. This Full Moon is therefore asking us to look closely at how we balance taking care of ourselves (Cancer), versus how we want to contribute to the world at large (Capricorn) — in other words, where we have reached our limit, and where we need to set some priorities.

Ask yourself: What importance does nourishment have in my life? Do I know when I feel nourished? Physically? Emotionally? Spiritually? Mentally? Do I feel a connection with all of life? What’s keeping me separate, limited, or in fear? Could I be honest about that? And once I have acknowledged what that might be, could I decide to let it go, just for right now?

Any Full Moon also has us look more closely at the denser vibrations or shadow components of the energies involved. With Cancer, this is our ability to…

With Cancer, this is our ability to receive, and to feel safe from within — but what protected us in the past may no longer be the answer, as our needs may have changed over time.

Ask yourself: Where am I holding on simply out of familiarity? What do I need to feel safe in the world?

What if self-care led to self-alignment? What if the same were true of nurturing my feeling body? Given those possibilities, might it be worth spending 5% more time and energy on self-care, just as an experiment?

With Capricorn, we need to take a look at those parts of ourselves that are domineering, rigid, unforgiving, self-servingly ambitious, status-seeking, and hierarchical.

As best as you can, be really honest with yourself, and ask: What is my relationship to “control”? Where do I try to control life? Other people? Where do I control myself by suppressing my needs or feelings? Is it at least possible that a slower step-by-step approach might improve my ability to be present to what’s needed in the moment?

Let’s take a look at some other aspects of this FM chart, starting with the Moon’s Ruler: The rulers of Capricorn (Saturn) is in Aquarius at the time of the Full Moon.

Saturn trines the North Node in Gemini and sextiles the South Node in Sagittarius, giving us an opportunity to deal with the Gemini/Sagittarius polarity by setting healthy boundaries and taking responsibility for our part in the collective story and journey.

Ask yourself: What are some sustainable, realistic goals I could set in my communities or with like-minded people? How might focusing on the part I play in the collective journey — and taking responsibility for my own limitations — create a better dialog with others out there?

This quote from David Spangler’s Newsletter felt very apropos to what’s going on right now energetically speaking: “We shape our world by the questions we ask—and by those we fail to ask. It may be that as we move forward into our future, the truly Big Questions will become “How Might I Help?” and “What Can We Do Together?” or “How Can We Collaborate?” These are the questions that form connections and foster participation. I think of them as “partnering” questions. Answering them enables us to build community and get things done. They open the door to collaboration that can help resolve challenges with grace and skill, creativity and resilience. If we want to build a better world for ourselves and our children and grandchildren, it’s the “Partnering Questions” that will help shape it into being.”

Saturn is also part of a T-Square in this Full Moon chart: Uranus in Taurus as the Focal point, squaring Mars in Leo (on one side) and Saturn in Aquarius (on the other side). So let’s unpack all of that:

All of this creates some tension, but also an invitation to innovate and also to clarify our priorities. We may feel anxious or stressed by a situation or interaction involving a network of friends or like-minded people. It’s a time when it’s especially good to be aware of our limitations and reactions.

We are asked to stretch and grow by taking a look at our individualistic spirit — and in what way we feel connected to that (Uranus represents the spiritual principle of freedom, creative thought, innovation, and progressive change). We are also invited to acknowledge any restrictions or limitations that we are experiencing in our creative self-expression of ourselves, our desire for fun and joy in life.

Ask yourself: What if I thought of all “change” as progress? What would it look like if I gave myself and others the space we all deserve and need at this time?

Taking Taurus into account, together with the fact that Uranus has been squaring Saturn since January of this year already, we can see that we are being invited to reinvent ourselves on a physical level (our bodies, our planet, etc.)

Since Uranus is feeling the stress of Saturn and Mars, we may experience limitations around our physical freedoms and what we value, as well as frustrations with financial innovations, and challenging situations within our networks or communities.

Ask yourself: What am I ready to innovate or change about my body, my values, my self-value? What if patience and spaciousness were the key components that are missing? Where do I need to follow my own individualistic values?

What if I was able to find creative solutions to my current frustrations? What if these solutions already existed and I simply needed to wait for the perfect moment to be able to access them? In what ways am I currently growing? Maturing? Achieving Self-mastery?

The solution with all T-squares is to focus on the empty leg — in this case Scorpio here we are invited to bring our innovative spirit to our intimate relationships and financial partnerships.

Ask yourself: Could I use my divine spark, my unique talents, to create financially beneficial partnerships? Who might be interested in investing in a brand-new approach to accessing the planet’s resources?

What stirs me to innovate? How could I connect to people who appreciate my individualistic approach? What would it take to have spaciousness within my emotionally authentic and trusted connections to others? What might be possible if I embraced all of me — my light and my darkness? What role does freedom play in my intimate relationships?

Accepting each other’s differences is important right now, as we all have different values — and those values create our preferences and determine our comfort zone. Ask yourself: How could I take those differences less personally? Is it at least possible that I could honor my own differences without making others’ wrong? Could I hold the space for other people’s fears and comfort levels?

The Grand Fire Trine in this Full Moon chart involves Chiron in Aries, Mars in Leo, and the South Node in Sagittarius (creating a kite configuration with the North Node in Gemini).

“Healthy Fire” is fed by joy, authenticity, and self-determination. The Grand Trine brings optimism, enthusiasm, and expansion to our healing journey, creative projects, and explorations beyond our current thinking. Our positive attitude helps us take risks that get us unstuck — and we have the vigor to blast through challenges.

Ask yourself: What could I tackle right now that seemed impossible in the past? What am I passionate about? What lights my fire?

The Kite configuration points to the North Node in Gemini, inviting us to communicate, rather than making the assumption that others already know (or “should” know) what’s required or needed of them. Ask yourself: What needs to be said? Even if it seems obvious to me….

Mars in Leo is part of both the Grand Trine/Kite and the T-Square mentioned above; Mars therefore becomes an important component in the Full Moon chart, inviting us to take risks and pursue actions that bring us joy. Practicing active gratitude is beneficial to us at this time. As best as you can, be aware when taking a prideful stand, or taking something too personally.

Ask yourself: Would I rather be happy or defend my pride? How could I take things 5% less personally when dealing with others? What if I were 5% less attached to having things “go my way”?

How might my focusing on what I am grateful for create more ease and joy? What might keep a smile on my face, no matter what?

As mentioned earlier, this Full Moon chart has three stationing planets; two of those have already changed direction by the time the Full Moon becomes exact, but are still exalted (moving slowly).

The first one is Jupiter in Pisces, which starts its 4-month Retrograde phase on June 20th, and which will be exalted until June 27th. This brings our awareness to our heart-centeredness and invites us to take a look at our beliefs around separation and oneness.

Ask yourself: How separate from others do I feel? How connected? What might be possible if I allowed myself to keep an open heart and mind when it comes to the energetic world? What about other realms beyond the physical world?

Jupiter in Pisces also sextiles the Moon and trines the Sun, giving us an opportunity to deal with the Capricorn/Cancer polarity by expanding our perspective beyond the material world and our past understanding of things. We are invited to bring a more intuitive approach to our long-term goals, and allow for compassionate connections with our loved ones and family relations.

Ask yourself: What are some perspectives or attitudes that I can now release, so I can experience a closer connection to loved ones and a more trusting approach to my accomplishments in the world? How might expanding my perspective beyond the material world and my past understanding of things help me grow?

The second planet that is exalted at this time is Mercury in Gemini. Mercury ends its 3-week Retrograde phase only two days before the Full Moon becomes exact (on June 22nd). It will be exalted until June 28th. This brings our awareness to our mental exchanges with others and we are invited to remain curious and open-minded.

Ask yourself: How might a dash of curiosity support my interactions with other people? What about when it comes to processing information that I read or hear about? What might an open mind do for me then?

Since Mercury enters it’s Post-Shadow phase on June 22nd (until July 7th), we could use this as an opportunity to go over anything that came up during the Retrograde phase (May 29th – June 22nd).

Ask yourself: What is ready to move forward? Where can I now make a decision that feels aligned with my inner thoughts? Where (or with whom) am I ready to talk something over that was initiated during the Retrograde dates?

Lastly, Neptune in Pisces is moving slower as well, as it prepares to come to halt and start its 5-months Retrograde phase on June 25th (only one day after the Full Moon becomes exact!) Its preparation for the Retrograde phase amplifies the call to release whatever is no longer in the best interest of all concerned so we can move into a heart-based experience with ourselves and all that surrounds us.

Neptune’s energy is strong, with both its higher and lower vibrations becoming clearer, helping us connect more fully to those energies as they exist within us, and showing us where we need to either embrace them more fully, or connect to them in a healthy way — ways that don’t involve getting lost in the murky lower vibrations of their expression (things like escapism, addiction, denial, illusions, victim-behavior, etc.).

Ask yourself: What is my relationship to my own imagination? How do I use it? Do I tend to imagine “worse case scenarios” or visualize what I wish to create? What role does naiveté play when it comes to my imagination?

What’s my relationship to my intuition? If I get quiet enough, can I catch its subtle voice? When I hear it, can I take that moment to really catch what it says… and then trust it? Who has the last word — my mind, or my heart?

As best as you can, simply observe — this is not about doing the right or wrong thing, but about becoming more aware of how we are connected to this energy. During Neptune’s Retrograde, we’ll get a chance to connect to it from within, such that we’ll feel its vibration inside of us.

For a more detailed description of the Jupiter and Neptune Station phase, please read my Weekly Forecast-entry for June 12th.

We will also cover Neptune’s and Chiron’s Station & Retrograde phases in more detail — in connection with our own birth charts — in my next Forecasting Forum, live on June 25th, at 2pm EDT/7pm London-time. Early Bird Special available until June 22nd at midnight EDT!!!

Neptune in Pisces also trines Venus in Cancer and sextiles Pluto in Capricorn, giving us an opportunity to deal with the Capricorn/Cancer polarity on a whole other level.

We tend to “feel” each other on an energetic level now; a sensitive approach is therefore recommended — we are tapping into the collective experience, so it might also be wise to remember that everyone else is also working with the current energies as best as they can.

Just like ourselves, they may get overwhelmed or confronted by the Capricorn/Cancer-energies out there (perhaps by facing some harsh realities and inner limitations, or family/home issues). We all deserve some compassion, understanding, and forgiveness.

This shows us our ability to allow for feelings to move through, supports us further in bringing love and acceptance to our feeling body, and helps us release any unhealthy attachments to the past. This makes it easier to trust and thus allow ourselves to stretch outside of our comfort zone and invite in “the new”.

Given this, ask yourself: How can I empower myself and others through the gift of trusting my own heart? What if kindness towards the world would bring peace into my life and my heart? What if simply being present in the here moment, could make me feel more empowered?

What if there was a way to eliminate fear from my system? What if I experimented with spending time aligning with what is, energetically speaking, and allowing the transformational process to unfold?

We also might be able to receive new support from others; so ask yourself: What if I let myself receive 5% more kindness from others? And how about from myself?

To sum it all up for this Full MoonCancer and Capricorn are both receptive “yin” energies, so are Pisces and Taurus. As we have 7 planets in Yin-signs in this Full Moon chart, we are clearly asked to go within first, before making a move forward externally.

Cancer is inviting us to develop healthy emotional roots, Capricorn to reach self-mastery and share the fruits of its labor; the more we disregard our own feelings and needs, the greater the likelihood of violating the rights and concerns of others.

When we are able to experience a balance between inner and outer, come to feel safe and a valuable part of society, we can be both responsible and kind — integrating oppositions brings limitless benefits — so as best you can, focus on what feels in alignment with yourself, what inspires and nourishes you, so you can step out into the world as an empowered and self-sufficient adult.

Ask yourself: What shifts are needed at home? At work? Where do I need to set clear boundaries? How could I experience more nourishment and support? How might I be of support to myself? What might processing my emotions do for me in the long run?

We are in the process of shifting from one age to the next. Keep choosing Love, and remember: “…our greatest threat is fear, the fear that turns us away from each other or against each other. When we stand together and help each other, we break the contagion of fear and strengthen the spirit of community that can unite and preserve us all.” — another quote from David Spangler, from Lorian.org

Super Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius — the article

On Wednesday, May 26th at 7:14am EDT, a powerful Full Moon in 5.5 degrees of Sagittarius becomes exact. This is a Total Lunar Eclipse of a SuperMoon (i.e., the Moon is closer to the Earth than normal) and as such, this Full Moon’s energy is unusually intense.

Even apart from that, there is a lot to cover with this Eclipse — it is connected to a mutable T-square, with Jupiter as the Focal Point, and it has two Stationing planets: Saturn in Aquarius & Mercury in Gemini!

If you are already a Member of my online community, you can learn more about this month’s Super Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse by clicking here to watch my video

Lunar Eclipses direct our attention to whatever needs to be integrated and balanced, both on the collective and individual levels, over a longer period of time (usually 6 months). Get ready for some big shifts in your life, especially around your relationship with your own belief structures, and around your ability to learn, remain adaptable, and use your “day-to-day mind” intelligently.

Our physical and emotional bodies strongly feel the intensity of it all, so keep in mind: Eclipses ultimately support a shift in consciousness and thus bring us closer to our Soul’s path.

This is the second Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius since the Moon Nodes moved into Gemini/Sagittarius back on May 5th, 2020 — and the Moon Nodes play a crucial role during Eclipses! Feel free to also check out my webinar on those Moon Nodes (if you haven’t seen it yet). We talk about the connection to our own birth charts… and it’s currently available at a discount!

The last Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius in the same degree as this one was on May 26th, 2002Think back to that time: What shifts in perspective happened then? What is possible now?

Let’s take a closer look at this Lunar Eclipse:

The Moon in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius (which is itself aligned with the South Node) is making an opposition to the Sun in curious, quick-witted, versatile Gemini (which is aligned in turn with the North Node).

Full Moons balance two opposing archetypes, and reconcile their Shadow sides — in this instance, Gemini deals with information, intelligence, and communication, while Sagittarius is concerned with meaning, truth, and wisdom.

The Shadow side of Gemini brings…

The Shadow side of Gemini brings tons of data but no depth of understanding. It can be scattered-brained, talk without listening, randomly chatter, and allow mind to dominate body, heart, and soul.

Ask yourself: What is the difference between information and interpretation? What might change for me if I questioned my assumptions? Questioned what I think I know? Who I think I am? Why things are the way they are? What new information might I spot if I stepped back and took a wider view? Could I bring 5% more depth and understanding to the information I engage with and share?

The Shadow side of Sagittarius gets stuck in destructive ruts of dogmatism, entitlement, and excesses of all kinds. We get attached to our belief systems and the stories we tell ourselves about life — and therefore also become self-righteous, perhaps even persecute those who differ in their point of view. We also tend to have difficulty dealing with emotions and commitment.

Ask yourself: How could I be 5% more aware of any dogmatic thinking? Of any hypocritical behaviors? What could I do to keep the focus on myself when investigating those things?

Now, how do we integrate Sagittarius with Gemini?

The Gemini-Sagittarius polarity has to do with our ability to connect thoughts and language with higher meaning or wider perspectives — in other words, logical, curious, and expansive thinking.

Ask yourself: What do I already know? What reactions come from my cultural conditioning? What needs a new exploration on my part? Where do I feel particularly impatient or easily become annoyed? Where do I insist on “being right”? How might a dose of curiosity and open-mindedness support a larger exploration of life?

Given we have the South Node in Sagittarius until Jan. 2022, we are invited to become more aware of these Shadow issues, and move into a higher/lighter vibration of this sign. The best way to do this is via the higher/lighter vibration of Gemini. The current placement of the North Node in Gemini invites us to make an effort to work with the Gemini archetype as much as possible.

Given that, let’s take a look at Geminiat its highest vibration, this sign helps us stay connected to our immediate environment and “day-to-day mind” — processing and sharing as much information as we can, as quickly as possible — it extends an invitation to stay curious, indeed to constantly look for ways to learn what we need, so we can connect all the dots and communicate intelligently.

Ask yourself: What would help me stay open-minded over the next 8 months? What if I were 5% more willing to incorporate new information? What difference might listening 5% more deeply make?  What if I made 5% more effort to communicate clearly?

It’s important to realize that the Sagittarian urge to “go beyond” is essential for our growth; when it comes to balancing these energies, that same urge can play a crucial role in how we interact with others and share information — in other words, the Gemini energy.

At its highest vibration, Sagittarius shows us a wider perspective, one that has us looking beyond facts and learned knowledge, to our direct life experiences and the wisdom gained thereby. It’s all about seeking a higher truth, and a higher meaning for life’s challenges — in other words, a philosophy that would help us understand life’s trials and tribulations.

Ask yourself: How can I best apply my wisdom at this time? How might I show my tolerance towards others? Towards life itself? Might a tablespoon of faith support me at this time?

Now, let’s talk about some of the aspects of this Lunar Eclipse chart:

Not only are the Moon Nodes conjunct with the Full Moon — which is natural, given that this is an Eclipse — but we also have a Mercury-Venus alignment in Gemini that makes a wide conjunction with the North Node. This asks us to put effort into connecting and communicating with others. The same is true when it comes to thinking about what is most valuable to our thinking processes.

Here are some good questions to ask ourselves: What do we enjoy hearing about? Talking about? Learning about? Could we honor our thoughts just 5% more, just for a little while?

We are also invited to take a closer look at any values and relationships we want to connect with or learn more about. Since we are in the process of becoming aware of what we value most, we can more easily see now if things are in alignment with how we think, and what we communicate.

Ask yourself: If I am completely honest with myself, what do I hear when I actually listen to my inner dialog about relationships? What do I tell myself about my interactions with others? What’s my relationship with my Self and my own resources (money, talent, ability, etc.)? What do I need to learn or question to achieve greater alignment with myself and others?

Jupiter, the ruler of Sagittarius, has just started its first pass through Pisces — and is now the focal point of a T-square involving the Moon in Sagittarius and the Sun in Gemini.

This is an invitation to to ask ourselves these questions: How do we use our optimism and generous spirit? Are we exhausting ourselves? Could our beliefs be placed in service to our Higher Self? Could our desire for personal growth and opportunities be guided 5% more from an intuitive place?

What might be possible if we kept an open mind and curiously investigated our options? What if we asked ourselves on a daily basis, before making an assumption or jumping to conclusions: “Is this in the best and highest interest of all concerned, myself included?”

Given that the empty leg of this T-square lands in Virgo, we are invited to bring faith and optimism to our daily work routines — and to make choices from a place of discernment (i.e. neutral clarity), rather than from a place of judgment.

Ask yourself: What might I experience if I released all judgment towards social conditioning? What might become possible if I embraced my intuition and generosity on a daily basis? How might a holistic approach or attitude serve me at this time? Could I be kind, loving, and discerning at the same time? What might I discover if I made a list of pros and cons before making any choices?

We will talk in more detail about Jupiter’s first pass through Pisces on May 28th, in my next Forecasting Forum — and in particular, how all of this impacts our own birth charts. Register here to join us live or get the mp4-video recording after May 28th. There will also be an Early Bird Special available until May 25th at midnight EDT.

The Moon in Sagittarius forms a Trine to Chiron in Aries. This makes it easier to explore new healing modalities for body, mind, and heart, all aimed at renewing our enthusiasm for life. We are capable of being compassionate and forgiving with ourselves at this time — and a gentle and holistic approach is best.

Ask yourself: What nurtures my body? My mind? My Soul? Are there any healing modalities I’ve been wanting to explore? Am I ready to go for it?

Mercury, the ruler of Gemini, is in 24 degrees of Gemini at the time of the Super Full Moon. It is stationing in preparation for its second Retrograde phase of the year, and thus is exalted. It also quincunxes Pluto in Capricorn, squares Neptune in Pisces, and aligns with Venus in Gemini. Let’s unpack all that:

Mercury’s Quincunx to Pluto in Capricorn invites us to clarify our true motivations and deal with any underlying fears that are blocking us — and as best as we can, to drop any self-judgment.

Ask yourself: Am I after quick, superficial exchanges? Or intense and authentic connection to what I am building long-term? When it comes to the latter: what am I most afraid of? How might I best build empowerment out there in the world?

Mercury’s Square to Neptune in Pisces invites us to have faith, go with the flow, and let our intuition guide us when it comes to our communications and mental exchanges — and if we are able do so, we will grow.

Mercury squares Neptune until June 10th — this unusually long square is due to Mercury’s Station & Retrograde Phase. Feel free to read more about this challenging aspect in the weekly blog for May 17-23rd (Saturday’s entry).

As best as you can, be compassionate with yourself and others — and watch out for any tendency to make hasty decisions or to be naïve about something you hear or read.

We also might look for some vision, ideal, or dream to motivate us or stir our imagination. As best as you can, be gentle with yourself and others, seek to understand before seeking to be understood.

Ask yourself: Before moving forward with a communication or decision, could I tune in and get really clear about my energy body, and what is needed in this current moment? What if I granted 5% more trust to my inner guidance? What might I hear if I listened 5% more closely to the subtle messages of my divine nature?

We also tend to feel scattered at this time. Should you observe that in yourself, try asking: What might happen if I slowed down and listened to my intuition instead of letting my mind run?

Saturn in Aquarius is still exalted (due to its Station phase) at the time of the Lunar Eclipse — even though already Retrograde — in this exalted state, it trines the North Node in Gemini, sextiles Chiron in Aries, and remains in a Square with Uranus in Taurus. Let’s unpack all of that:

Saturn’s Retrograde motion points to the fact that inner changes must be made before outer forms can shift. It may be advisable for us to keep the focus more on ourselves and check in frequently with our inner compass.

Ask yourself: If I check in with myself, what works (and what doesn’t) when it comes to my social or political affiliations or networks? If I am completely honest with myself, is there anything that calls for a reassessment on my part?

Saturn’s Trine to the North Node in Gemini invites us to focus on solid and realistic ideas and concepts that serve us long-term.

Ask yourself: How might curiosity and an open mind lead to more sustainable solutions for my communities? What might I share with “my people” if I wanted to manifest something that would last and be sustainable for all involved? What might “responsible sharing” look like? What could I teach or learn that could have a long-term impact for me and my communities?

Saturn’s Sextile to Chiron in Aries presents an opportunity to connect with others responsibly and engage in a healing process that can bring progress in our various communities — maybe even worldwide.

Ask yourself: Could I allow myself and others to be human? What if my personal limitations were my main drivers for taking creative or unusual approaches? If that were true, would I be willing to commit myself 5% more to learning more about my limitations (without judgment)? What might be possible if I allowed myself to let go of regrets, and focused instead on what works and what doesn’t for me today?

For even more info on the Saturn Station and Square to Uranus, watch my New Moon in Taurus video or read the article!

Lastly, let me just mention some aspects involving Mars in Cancer:

Mars opposes Pluto in Capricorn and trines Neptune in Pisces. The opposition with Pluto requires a deep dive into our unconscious around the masculine energy and our need for safety.

Ask yourself: What is my motivation around achieving something out there in the world? How about at home? What might a balance between home/family and career/long-term goals look like for me? How might a deep focus on self-care or emotional authenticity serve me at this time? What needs to transform so I can feel more empowered?

We may have feelings connected to past experiences with the masculine energy; Mars’ Trine to Neptune can help us let go of any such feelings that we are ready to release.

Ask yourself: What is ready to be released at this time? Where do I sense emotional blockages? How might a good dose of love and forgiveness support me with this? Could I perhaps tap into my heart energies 5% more to get a sense that “everything will turn out just as it needs to”?

To sum it all up for this Lunar Eclipse: This powerful Super Full Moon highlights the power of perspective — what we see depends on where we stand, literally and figuratively. Gemini & Sagittarius are both extroverted, social signs, yet Jupiter and Neptune in Pisces, as well as Mars in Cancer in this Lunar Eclipse chart promote our connection to the feminine energies within us (this is true for both our physical body and our feeling-body).

If something resonates with you, it means it is aligned with your energy, so move toward that which resonates, and away from that which does not. There’s no need for “judgement” here, simply listen to your physical body and your feeling body, heed your inner guidance, and ask yourself: Where have I been getting drained? Where do I get recharged?

Where lies the path of least resistance towards myself? What assumptions are holding me back? What role does my thinking play in all of this?

The next 6 months require some adjustments: on the one hand, there is a desire to go within and get quiet — and on the other, a need to expand our horizons and learn more about life and our day-to-day interactions. We are also invited to focus both on nurturing the mind and on  staying in touch with our feeling-body.

As best as you can, stay as open-minded as possible — nothing will be gained by clinging to the past or insisting on your truth being “the” truth. Infuse your daily routines with a heart-centered attitude that promotes health: If you are able, go for walks in nature, take yoga classes, practice walking meditations, or dance and sing or chant your way through the living room…

It’s best for us to move forward slowly but surely, knowing all the while that our sense of balance must come from within, staying rooted in the inner knowing that all is well.

Ask yourself: What kind of experiences outside of my everyday routine might widen my perspective and understanding of life? Who supports my journey towards greater self-realization? What or who “feeds” me? Could I allow those connections to grow stronger and more meaningful?

Remember: Eclipses bring a strong focus to endings and beginnings — they push us forward in our evolution and connect us more fully to our Soul’s Journey. As best as you can, trust that whatever is leaving or falling apart is making way for something better — the more open we are to change, the easier it will be to go to the next level.

Because Eclipses are so powerful, they require a bigger orb than a regular Full or New Moon. I usually use a 5º orb instead of 2º… so since this Lunar Eclipse takes place in 5.5º of Sagittarius:

Super Full Moon in Scorpio — the article

On April 26th, at 11:32pm EDT, the Full Moon in 7 degrees of Scorpio becomes exact. The Moon in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio opposes the Sun in steady, peaceful Taurus.

This Full Moon has heightened effects on us for two important reasons: first, it is a “Super Full Moon” (i.e. the Moon is at its closest distance to the Earth) — in fact, it is the first of three Super Full Moons in a row! Secondly, Pluto, the ruler of Scorpio, is exalted, preparing to go Retrograde at 26.5º of Capricorn — less than 24 hours after the Full Moon becomes exact! All of this could increase emotional volatility but could also facilitate larger shifts in consciousness.

There are lots of other aspects worth mentioning in this Full Moon chart: a Stellium in Taurus, a T-Square with Saturn as the Focus point — and we will address all of them in a moment. If you are currently a Member of my online community, feel free to also watch my Super Full Moon video here.

I should also mention that we will focus on Pluto’s powerful involvement with this month’s Super Full Moon chart, as it relates to our own individual birth charts, in our upcoming Forecasting Forum: click here for more info and to register.

Also, non-Members can get access to this month’s Super Full Moon video, when registering for April 23rd’s Forecasting Forum.

This Full Moon shows us how far we have come, as well as what we must still release or transform, if we are to manifest what was begun at the time of the New Moon that occurred on April 11th.

For the next two weeks, we seek the balance and integration of two polarities, and are aware that something needs to be brought into alignment. The balance in question is between our physical attachments, aversions, and connections — symbolized by Taurus— and our emotional attachments, aversions, and connections (Scorpio).

The time of the Full Moon is always more extroverted and emotional. This particular one invites us to let go of fears or disempowering behaviors, and thereby break through to the next level of our evolution, individually and collectively.

So, here’s this Full Moon’s central question: As a society, are we living in alignment with our values, with what makes us happy and satisfied? How about as individuals? Do we feel empowered and emotionally fulfilled? Are there any fears in our way to achieving progress? Or any rigid thought processes?

All right, let’s look at the signs involved in this polarity,…

All right, let’s look at the signs involved in this polarity, beginning with Taurus:

Taurus seeks comfort and material stability. It’s concerned with our relationship to the planet, and with the physical plane in general — and also with a hugely important part of our relationship with ourselves, namely “self-esteem”.

Of course, Taurus also has a shadow side: attachment to material things, especially when using them to make up for low self-esteem, seeking to feel better about ourselves through indulging in physical pleasures, immovability and wanting to keep things the same, usually so we don’t experience physical discomfort.

Scorpio, on the other hand, craves transformation — and it seeks this in part by putting us in touch with our deepest desires and worst fears, bringing them into conscious awareness, so that we can see and release what no longer serves, or whatever has become stale or toxic. Put another way, it helps us move from a “survival mentality”, to a passionate engagement with life.

Ask yourself: Where in my own life do I observe a “survival mentality”? In what ways might I have protected myself from feelings of hurt or disempowerment?

It’s essential to bring conscious awareness to the walls we have built to feel protected and more “empowered”. Addressing past traumas and any sense of disempowerment is the only way to allow for the return of trust toward others (and life in general). By acknowledging our fears and breaking down those walls we can transform into truly powerful beings of love and inner strength.

What is Scorpio’s shadow?

Attachment to emotional connections (even if they are toxic), avoidance of emotional pain, armoring and protecting ourselves from incidents of disempowerment that no longer exist outside of memory, trust issues, black-and-white thinking, addiction to drama and darkness (or substances)… and anything we want to prevent: Scorpio’s shadow has us coming from an instinctual, self-protective place, rather than from intuitive, love-based spaciousness.

Scorpio wants to go beyond the surface, to our deeper motivations. For the next two weeks, ask yourself: Where do my behaviors bring disempowerment to others or myself? Where do my behaviors simply bring pain? What propels my sense of attraction or repulsion? What turns me on about life? What scares me?

Now, let’s talk about some of the aspects of this Full Moon chart, starting with the planetary rulers of this Super Full Moon:

Venus, the ruler of Taurus, is currently in its own sign, and in a close conjunction with Mercury, Uranus and the Sun in Taurus — creating a Stellium in Taurus that also opposes the Moon in Scorpio.

Since Uranus is a major player in this Stellium, we are definitely invited to be flexible and expect the unexpected — we need to be inventive, authentic, and willing to operate without social approval. We feel compelled to express ourselves in unique (or at least unconventional) ways.

We are receptive to new ways of thinking, doing, and living; this increased openness to all that is new and different may bring unexpected opportunities. Financial freedom, equality, and progress are important to us right now!

We might want to break away from whatever keeps us from honoring ourselves. It’s time to develop some awareness around what is genuinely our own values, versus those we may have adopted or inherited.

Ask yourself: What’s mine? What isn’t? What if it were ok to have a different outlook from others, even those we love? What about different values?Could I have some space around this rather than conflict?

The Stellium in Taurus opposing the Moon in Scorpio means that we are seeking balance between our body/physical comforts and our emotional authenticity with ourselves and others.

We are more aware of what we have (and what we don’t have, yet). On the one hand, we want to cultivate and maintain something real and tangible in our lives; on the other hand we want to discard anything emotionally inauthentic and toxic, so we can connect deeply with others, and passionately.

Even though we are quite aware of the importance of honoring our physical experience and taking care of our body and finances; we also see that deep emotional connections with ourselves and others are essential as well, especially those based on trust and empowerment. However, we may prefer to have peace rather than to explore emotionally complex situations with others.

Ask yourself: How might a conscious connection to my own breath help me stay present and grounded in my body? How might this honor my physical connection to myself? My sense of abundance in my life?

What still feels inauthentic or toxic in my life? Could I at least start to acknowledge it? Could I perhaps even talk about it with someone I trust? What happens when I suppress my feelings? When I don’t process emotionally difficult experiences? What if it were possible to work through my traumas with others and find peace in the process? What might 5% more trust and courage do for me?

The larger the reservoir of unprocessed emotional experiences, the more intense things can become, precipitating conflict, illness, and crises of all kinds. The question here becomes, what would you rather have: a moment of discomfort and vulnerability — like getting caught in the rain — or an immersion in pain and crisis when the dam bursts?

The Trine between the Moon in Scorpio and Mars in Cancer might be able to help us with this. Under its influence, we are more easily able to act in favor of establishing emotional connection with loved ones, and have the courage to let ourselves be vulnerable. We can more easily share about deep emotional issues stemming from the past and support each other in loving and nurturing ways.

Ask yourself: What might be possible if I trusted others and myself just 5% more? Could I then be more open to receiving support from the people I love? How might I lend loving and nurturing support to others? What if I allowed my feelings to flow, and released anything that feels outdated, stuck in the past? What are some favorite fears or concerns that I might just have the courage to address now?

Pluto, the modern ruler of Scorpio, is currently stationing in Capricorn. This exalted energy heightens our desire for an emotionally authentic connection to our long-term goals and social aspirations. That said, survival urges could be strong at this time, especially where we think we have no control.

We will feel this exaltation especially strongly for the two weeks after the Super Full Moon becomes exact — and will still feel it fairly powerfully until May 12th.

Until then, ask yourself: Where is “rebirth” called for? What cannot be denied?

How do my survival strategies show up at this time? Am I trying to hold on to what was? Am I resisting what is? Am I scared of what might be?

Where do I give my power away to something outside of me? Something that I don’t have control over to begin with? How could I feel more empowered in connection with my aspirations? How could I step into my own “authority” in the world?

We also have a T-Square in this Full Moon chart: Saturn in Aquarius is the Focus point of this T-Square, making many Squares to  all the planets in Taurus, and to the Moon in Scorpio.

All of this invites us to slow down and reassess our commitments around intimate relationships — and become more aware of our need for space and a flexible approach to the body and our finances.

Ask yourself: What might communicating what works for me look like? What about what doesn’t? If I were going to set healthy boundaries right now, where would I set them?

What if I slowed down in the moment and assessed what is appropriate for me? What if any attempt to rush this process would result in inappropriate boundaries, rigidity, anxiety, overwhelm? Would I slow down and reflect if that were so?

As best as you can, let your “inner adult” be mindful of what your body requires to be functioning at a “normal” pace, and what needs to be eliminated so you can feel fully empowered in financial or intimate relationships.

We are feeling a very strong pull to be responsible citizens of the world who build lasting social interactions and mutually-supportive sustainable communities.  All this creates a lot of stress around our need to make progress (Saturn in Aquarius).

Since the solution always lies with the empty leg of a T-square, let’s take a look at Leo.

Leo is inviting us to focus on our own self-expression and joy — to balance any over-seriousness around our interactions with our ability to have fun and enjoy ourselves. Of course, this must take place within the boundaries of what is possible at any given time — a healthy, mature approach to this will be the best antidote to anxiety and overwhelm.

For the next 2 weeks, ask yourself: What might open up if I placed 5% more focus on enjoyment, gratitude, and healthy self-expression? How could I connect with others and have some fun, while honoring the boundaries and restrictions that are required at this time?

If I focused on all of the above (i.e. healthy self-expression, joy, gratitude, etc.), how might that impact my experience of abundance and emotionally authentic connections?

Could I be 5% easier on myself and still take responsibility for how I show up (both in “the world” and within my various communities)? How much more progress might I make if I focused on gratitude first?

To sum it all up: This Super Full Moon reminds us that every new beginning is the end of something else, and vice versa. Ask yourself: What fears and traumas need to be investigated and made conscious, so I can be more in touch with my own worthiness, and better see my own value?

What behaviors and habits need to come to an end to make way for me to create more abundance in my life? How can I balance my need for a deeper, more empowered experience with others, against my wish to honor my personal values and desire for freedom? (This can be connected to feeling separate vs. feeling “at one”)

As the first Earth sign, Taurus reminds us of the importance of connecting with nature and honoring our body as the temple of our Soul — without a healthy body, our Soul cannot do the work it came here to do.

Spending time in nature reduces blood pressure, eases depression, boosts the immune system, eases stress, and provides inspiration. Ask yourself: Could I give my body “the gift of Nature”? Perhaps for 15-30 minutes per day?

Break the routine in your relationships (the relationship with yourself included) and as best as you can, stay open and flexible: fresh air is blowing through our lives — so let it!

Do your best also to release what you have outgrown. Focus where you actually have influence rather than forcing things and struggling to change things beyond your control. And, as always, choose love over fear whenever possible!

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 5-9 degrees of Scorpio, Taurus, Leo, or Aquarius? If so, you are more affected by this month’s Full Moon. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Full Moon in Libra — the article

On March 28th at 2:48pm EDTthe Full Moon becomes exact in 8 degrees of Libra. All Full Moons bring an opportunity for increased awareness and integration of the traits connected to the relevant Full Moon polarities, especially those that have been neglected or suppressed.

This Full Moon chart has two important emphases: first, it has a line up of planets in Aries – including Chiron — and all oppose the Moon; secondly, Uranus in Taurus quincunxes the Moon while still squaring Saturn in Aquarius! All of this heightens a sense of newness or “beginner’s mind”, but it also creates uncertainty, and emphasizes the “unknown”.

Here is a quote by Charles Eisenstein that fits quite well: “At each junction, we can be aware of what we follow: fear or love, self-preservation or generosity… Every act of compassion, kindness, courage, or generosity heals us from the story of separation…”.

So the question here is: What am I aware of? What will I choose? Where will I focus my mind? My Heart? What might become possible if I got 5% more comfortable with uncertainty?

There are lots of other aspects in this Full Moon chart as well, and we will address all of them in a moment; and if you are already a Member of my online community, feel free to also watch my Full Moon video here.

On the night of March 27/28th, the Moon enters Libra; this starts the energetic build up towards the Full Moon — and almost 13.5 hours later, the Sun in Aries opposes the Moon in Libra.

Ask yourself: How far have I come with the Intentions I set around March 13th’s New Moon? If I’m not where I’d like to be with those intentions, what new course might take me closer to my goals?

The Libra-Aries polarity highlights the spiritual dance between various polarities:
* individual drives/goals and one-on-one relationships
* masculine and feminine
* independence and collaboration

Whether we are single or partnered up, we are all in relationship to someone — any one-on-one relationship counts here — business, personal, health-related, etc.

For the next two weeks, we seek…

For the next two weeks, we seek balance between ourselves (symbolized by Aries), and others (Libra); it’s important here to realize that relationships are essential to our existence, and that they play a crucial role both in defining and achieving our personal goals/desires.

We are also invited to look at the balance of feminine and masculine within ourselves, our relationships, and our world. Ask yourself: Where has feminine and masculine gone out of balance? What happens when there is too much of one? Of both? What about too little?

Aries symbolizes our requirement to be an individual who is free to explore and express themselves; Libra, on the other hand, represents our desire to feel connected, and see both sides of the coin by looking at contrast and comparison.

Ask yourself: Where in my life do I need to be more authentic? Assertive? Understanding and considerate? Who am I being in my relationships? Who am I being in the relationship between me, myself, and I?

The Sun in Aries calls us to look at the roles that “assertion” and “independence” play in our lives. We’re called to find ways to develop a healthy sense of self — and total honesty is crucial here, with ourselves and with others.

As best as you can, allow the higher vibrations of Aries to shine through — these include courage, openness towards the new, directness, and a healthy sense of identity. The “denser/lower” vibrations of Aries can be rash, impulsive, insensitive, and (at worst) combative. Connecting with the highest vibration of Libra will help us stay away from the denser vibrations of Aries.

The Moon in Libra emphasizes the need for collaboration, objectivity, consideration, equality, balance, justice, etc. As you can tell, the spotlight now swings over to our relationships…

Here are some of the aspects of this Full Moon chart:

The Moon in Libra quincunxes Uranus in Taurus: we are invited to make some internal adjustments — an unexpected turn of events could leave us uneasy or unsettled. This could also indicate a certain degree of restlessness and energetic discomfort in our interactions with others.

Ask yourself: How flexible could I be for the next two weeks if I really worked at it? What needs to shift internally, so I can stay open and aligned with my unique talents, values, and preferences?

Am I feeling particularly uncomfortable within my one-on-one relationships at this time? Do I have certain preferences that others are unable to align with? Do I have judgments about this? What might become possible if I got 5% more comfortable with being uncomfortable?

Venus (the ruler of Libra & Taurus) currently in Aries, sits on top of the Sun & Chiron in Aries, and they all sextile Saturn in Aquarius, as well as the NorthNode/Mars alignment in Gemini. The Moon, being opposite that planetary line-up in Aries, trines Saturn and the North Node/Mars alignment. Let’s unpack that:

This very tight Sun/Chiron/Venus alignment in Aries creates an opportunity for healing around issues to do with self-identity or the desire to be “The Doer”.

If you identify as “The Doer”, simply ask: What if I wasn’t “the doer”? Would “doing” still be happening? Could I allow my actions to flow from a heart-centered place? And what might that look like?

Becoming aware of old wounds or limitations around the masculine energies is the first step toward healing them. Bringing compassion, self-acceptance, and love to it is the second.

Ask yourself: If I looked at my own limitations through the lens of the human-soul alliance, is it possible that would bring healing to my relationship to my persona — how I present myself to the world — and to my relationships with others?

We need to learn to love ourselves, and heal deep fears of being “not good enough”. Healing happens much faster when we are open to forgiving and embracing ourselves exactly as we are (and are not).

Ask yourself: What might that process look like for me? Could I give myself 5% more permission to be exactly as I am and as I am not? Once I have practiced that for a while, could I also give others permission to be exactly as they are and as they are not?

How would my relationship to self-love need to shift to give others more freedom to be themselves?

The Sextile to Saturn in Aquarius (also trine to the Moon in Libra) indicates an opportunity to connect responsibly to society and step into our integrity and “inner adult” whenever possible. This is a good time to approach like-minded people or those in our communities (locally and online) for their input. There is also a feeling of flow around a common vision for life.

Ask yourself: In what small ways might I make a difference in humanity’s future? If I dared to make a massive contribution, what might that look like? How could my one-on-one relationships contribute to this contribution?

And last but not least, the Sextile to the North Node/Mars alignment in Gemini (also trine to the Moon in Libra). This invites us to actively bring people together for mutual pleasure and benefit; to collaborate and ask questions.

Ask yourself: What if I connected to myself, then to others, for an exchange of information? How could I personally encourage new approaches and priorities?

Mars (the ruler of Aries) currently in Gemini squares Mercury (the ruler of Gemini) currently in Pisces. This could potentially bring some confusion to our interactions and our communications may be more intuitive than rational. Pay attention when driving, and in general, if possible, don’t let yourself get sidetracked or distracted…

With this combo it is best to allow ourselves to go with the flow and make space for two approaches: a more creative, feminine one, and a direct, masculine one. Observe to see what applies best in each moment, and when in doubt, get quiet, tune in with your feeling body, and listen to your heart.

Ask yourself: What if rushing did not “get me there” faster? Could I allow myself to take a pause when the urge to rush into something comes up? Could I check in with intuition first, before actively sharing or connecting with others?

If you catch yourself feeling impatient, ask yourself: Could I trust the timing of things 5% more in this Now-Moment? What might taking a deep breath do for me right now? Might a thought of “gratitude & thanks” support me in feeling less tense or agitated? Is that at least worth a try, just as an experiment?

I also want to mention here that I am doing an “ASK ME ANYTHING” Special event in my next Forecasting Forum — in fact, I will answer Astrology & Coaching questions, so if you want to be part of this Special event, feel free to join us live, on March 26th at 2pm ET/6pm GMT (London-time)!

Back to the Full Moon chart: Mercury also aligns with Neptune in Pisces: we connect to our intuitive knowingness and realign with our divine nature and our sixth sense.

Rest as much as possible and/or be in nature as much as you can. Allow the flow of things, trusting that all is well, all of the time!

Ask yourself: What do I listen to? Could I be still — enough to listen to my heart? My intuition? Might I hear subtle and loving messages if I did? What might support me in trusting, relaxing, and going with the flow, as messages come through from within?

What simple action step might instill confidence in an exploration of my personal heart-mind connection? Is there a mental or spiritual process that is asking to be put to use?

Saturn in Aquarius still squares Uranus (the modern ruler of Aquarius) currently in Taurus (both of them in fixed signs) — we will feel the effects of this Square until July 18th. We get an opportunity to stretch and grow (big time) in regards to our collective and personal individuation process! Squares signal turning points that require a shift in perspective.

Ask yourself: Where do I need to clarify my values? Where do I need to be more flexible and think outside the box?

When thinking about my personal future and that of the collective, could I acknowledge feeling uncomfortable with not knowing? Could I acknowledge feeling uncomfortable with the current amount of uncertainty that I am presented with? Could I acknowledge feeling uncomfortable with the changes that are currently on their way?

Feel free to also watch my “Saturn-Uranus Squares 2021” webinar on the subject! We look at our own birth charts in this webinar to see where all of this plays out for you personally.

To sum it all up: This Full Moon highlights the need to balance initiative, courage, and self-reliance with teamwork, consideration, and fairness. The coming months offer some tailwinds that could carry us along to some big breakthroughs. We are invited to learn how to be conscious creators, mindful of how our thinking and our choices affect the collective.

In these challenging times, it’s important to take extra good care of ourselves on all levels: mental, emotional, physical and spiritual!

As best as you can, be very discerning about anything you listen to, read, and watch. And always remember: Love empowers, fear paralyzes.

Ask yourself: Where am I in or out of balance in my life? Is it possible that when something sounds good but doesn’t feel right, it’s either not “right” for me at this time, or not “right” at all?

Let me finish by repeating that Charles Eisenstein quote: “At each junction, we can be aware of what we follow: fear or love, self-preservation or generosity… Every act of compassion, kindness, courage, or generosity heals us from the story of separation…”.

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 6-10 degrees of Libra, Aries, Capricorn, or Cancer? If so, you may feel the effects of this Full Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Full Moon in Virgo — the article

The next Full Moon will be “exact” on Feb. 27th, at 3:17am EST in almost 9 degrees of Virgo — and by then, we are halfway through the Lunar cycle that started on Feb. 11th.

Take a look at the New Moon Intentions you set around Feb. 11th, and ask yourself: How far have I come with those Intentions? If I’m not where I’d like to be with them, what new course might bring me closer to my goals?

If you are already a Member of my online community, feel free to also watch my video for more.

A Full Moon is always an opposition between the Moon and the Sun; during these oppositions, we seek balance, alignment and integration around two perspectives that seem like polar opposites. Very often, we experience this through our interactions with others, and since these interactions are also the pathway to resolution, relationships of all kinds are highlighted during Full Moons.

In this case, the Moon in Virgo opposes the Sun in Pisces. Virgo seeks personal and practical wholeness, while Pisces reminds us of a transcendent wholeness — our divinity and interconnectedness with all of life.

Virgo benefits from apprenticeship, whereas Pisces learns to trust inner guidance above all else — when balanced, we are able to discern without judgment, serve without obligation, and love all of creation, including ourselves.

Virgo analyzes, Pisces feels: We are invited to discern what’s real, so we can make healthier choices.

To find the balance between Virgo and Pisces, ask yourself…

To find the balance between Virgo and Pisces, ask yourself: Where do I need to be more selective? More accepting? What if my inner knowingness could inform practical choices? What if “choosing” was already (and always) in alignment with divine timing?

What results might I get in my daily life if I dissolved my fears, judgments, and painful memories? Even if I could only do that as best as I can? What might a daily practice of self-forgiveness, acceptance, and learning to love myself do for me? What else might bring more inner peace?

All Full Moons bring awareness to a polarity and this illuminates the shadow sides of both signs:

Virgo‘s shadow side is “Judgement”; this creates separation from others and a split within ourselves, closing our heart and limiting our ability to learn. It keeps us stuck in duality, defending our position or attacking others. it’s what is showing up when we label things as “good or bad”, rather than seeing them in terms of “useful or unproductive”.

Drawing on the higher vibrations of Pisces helps us likewise connect with the higher vibration of Virgo… Pisces‘s best qualities are compassion, intuitiveness, open-heartedness, inspirational creativity and imagination; at its best, Pisces understands that we are all souls in various states of development, doing the best we can.

The shadow side of Pisces is ambiguity, escapism, helplessness or victimization, and poor or missing boundaries. And just as the converse is true, the best qualities of Virgo can move us back into the higher vibration of Pisces — qualities like the ability to choose wisely and to objectively discern what works and what doesn’t.

When both sides are well-integrated, we possess acuity of mind, united with the wisdom of our heart and the guidance of our intuition.

Ask yourself: What single step could I take right here and now, if I were setting out to employ 5% more self-compassion, unconditional love, and selfless service?

What if there were synergies between my emotional, intuitive understanding, and my rational, scientific understanding? Do I really have to choose between scientific facts & intuitive knowingness? What if I could have both?

For the next two weeks, Virgo asks us to become aware of the clutter that is distracting us from our priorities, so ask yourself: What in my current daily life is nourishing? And what might be toxic? Where are things piling up? How can I make healthier choices?

Let’s talk about what’s important in this particular Full Moon chart:

The Moon in Virgo trines Uranus in Taurus; quincunxes Chiron in Aries & Saturn in Aquarius (creating a Yod with the Moon as the Focal point); and opposes the Sun/Venus alignment in Pisces. Let’s unwrap all of that:

The Trine takes place in Virgo and Taurus, which are both Earth signs, so it’s easier to connect with our body and what we value, while an increased ability to discern “what’s what” can support us, should we be looking to make some changes in our physical world that further our physical, emotional, and mental well-being (in other words: wholeness).

This combo thus creates a “mutual support system” when it comes to manifesting something real that fits with our newfound values. It provides not only a flow of practical approaches, but also a wonderful opportunity to create more freedom in our current experience, along with an ability to do things differently and better.

Ask yourself: How could attention to detail help me be more discerning about how I connect to my body? What might open up if I implemented health routines or other systems that support my physical, emotional, and mental well-being?

What works for me in my daily routines? What doesn’t? How might flexibility help me implement new daily routines?

Now let’s talk about the Yod that involves Saturn & Chiron, making the Moon in Virgo the Focal point: we are asked to become more aware of our need for improved health systems and routines. We are invited to distinguish the essential from the extraneous — i.e. to simplify and improve our relationship to health, wholeness, and well-being.

Rather than wasting time or energy on self-deprecation or disparagement of others, we are invited to take a closer look at what works and what doesn’t, both individually and collectively.

For the next two weeks, ask yourself: What might change for me if I approached everything from a neutral place, with no judgment, “right or wrong”, personal opinions? What if I simply observed, like a scientist? As if it was the first time I had ever laid eyes on what I am observing?

What if I allowed “the observed” to be exactly what it is, without needing to change it? Maybe even giving it some space?

We are also invited to acknowledge the more denser vibration of this Moon placement.

Ask yourself: Could I allow myself to notice when I am defending, justifying, shaming, or judging myself or others? Am I simply staying busy to avoid feeling unworthy? What if “being good” was not the goal? What if “becoming whole” was? What would that look like?

Could I bring 5% more awareness towards my physical and mental well-being? How could I be of service to others while taking care of my own emotional well-being? What physical (or mental) symptoms am I experiencing that need my attention and love? What does “progress not perfection” look like for me?

The Moon’s opposition to the Sun/Venus alignment in Pisces supports this Yod, which is asking us to bring more awareness for our interconnectedness with others, to our daily routines, along with a healthy balance between head and heart, science and intuition, discernment and compassion.

Ask yourself: Could I allow myself to release my fears and bless everyone I come into contact with? Could I lower my worry level 5% every day? Is it at least possible that this would strengthen my immunity — and therefore my physical and mental health? Is it at least possible that this would also enhance my vibrational energy body?

If you are experiencing moments of loneliness, helplessness or separation, ask yourself this: If I temporarily set aside memory, and just for the moment stayed out of concepts and imaginary futures — just looking here and now in this moment, can I find the one that is truly alone? Can I find the one that is helpless? That is separate?

What if connecting to my heart and higher Self could protect me? What if that connection could empower me to create a future that I truly want to “live into”? One in which I thrive? One in which everyone around me does too?

Mercury (the ruler of Virgo) is still in Aquarius (moving through its post-Shadow phase), and is sandwiched between Jupiter and Saturn.

This makes for quite a “heady” experience — it’s all about thinking big and innovating. This connection strengthens our ability to make realistic decisions concerning our need for progress and collaboration. We are more able to demonstrate integrity and maturity when planning anything long-term.

Ask yourself: What are my expectations or attitudes towards the collective experience? What new vantage point might show me how to realistically implement my vision for myself and “my people”?

As Mercury will no longer be Retrograde from Feb. 20th onwards, all planets will be moving in direct motion until April 27th, signaling that we have almost 9 weeks to make some major moves forward in our lives.

Ask yourself: What steps (whether large or small) might move me forward on my evolutionary path? How might a balance between “doing” and “being” support me on this path? What about “thinking” & “feeling”? Discernment & acceptance? Where might integrating head and heart lead me?

Just as they were two weeks ago, Saturn and Uranus are still squaring each other; since the New Moon they’ve had their first exact Square of the Year (on Feb. 17th). We will feel the effects of this Square until July 18th, and it is one of three this year (this one in February, then in June and December).

Both individually and collectively, this aspect asks us to stretch a little (or a lot) — best not to expect much of anything… except the unexpected!

As best as you can, embrace this, rather than fear it — see it as opening possibilities for tremendous progress, long-term changes in social interactions, more beneficial relationships to the planet and our physical and material worlds.

Saturn in Aquarius directs our focus towards realistic progress with technologies, inventions, and long-term visions for the collective. Uranus in Taurus, on the other hand, is prodding us to get back to the basics — to what really matters, is ecologically sustainable and indeed best for all living beings.

Given this, ask yourself: What does my body require before I can think about connecting with others? Where am I feeling a need for more spaciousness? What does my physical reality require before I can think about what to create for the future? Where do I need to “think outside of the box”?

We will also talk in more detail about the Saturn/Uranus Squares in Aquarius/Taurus — and how it all relates to your birth chart — in our upcoming Forum on Feb. 26th!

To sum it all up for this Full Moon:

If we can recognize that we are doing the best we can at any given time, and that on a spiritual level all “mistakes” are just “experiences”, we can learn about empathy — and our brain will re-pattern itself around compassion, rather than criticism.

Ask yourself: What if I stood in a place of allowing, curiosity, and creative spaciousness? Am I currently using my imagination to inspire myself or scare myself? Does my mind wander gravitate towards worst-case or best-case scenarios?

What might I notice if I were 5% more mindful of my inner dialog? What if I brought 5% more compassion to myself? Even to my inner critic? And even to my fearful mind chatter?

The moment you feel ungrounded or overwhelmed, ask yourself: Could I slow down and notice my breathing? What might breathing deeply and mindfully bring to this moment?

This Full Moon reminds us that our mindfulness and open heart make a difference, not only in our own life, but in the world. Rather than pushing, over-thinking, or giving up, I invite you to conduct small, simple experiments, inside of faith in universal support.

In that spirit…

For the next two weeks, ask yourself: Where is the balance point for intellect and intuition? Striving and surrender? What if far more is happening, both within each one of us and around the world, than meets the eye, ear, or news media?

What if the solutions were already available… just not widely distributed?

This Full Moon reminds us that peace comes from within, and can radiate from each one of us — we are what we choose to be in every “moment of now” — so choose wisely! Our future is birthed breath-by-breath, step-by-step, heart-by-heart.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point, or personal planets in 7-11 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini, or Sagittarius? If so, this month’s Full Moon will affect you more; the same is true for those of us with our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Full Moon in Leo — the article

On Jan. 28th at 2:16pm EST, the Moon opposes the Sun in 9 degrees of Leo — and this month’s Full Moon becomes exact. Relationships of all kinds are highlighted.

All Full Moons offer opportunities for us to see things in a new light; they also guide us away from polarization and division, toward balance and integration.

Ask yourself: How far have I come since setting Intentions back on January 13th’s New Moon? What am I aware of at this time?

With the Sun in Aquarius until Feb. 18th, we seek balance; the balance in question here involves the Aquarius-Leo polarity.

As a Member of my online community, if you’d like to learn more about this month’s Full Moon, click here to watch my video.

Aquarius represents a unique vision and approach to life. The classic Aquarian vision is one of interconnected equality — paradoxically, we’re reminded at the same time that the power of unity lies in diversity. Leo, on the other hand, is all about our individual self-expression, creativity, ability to connect to the heart, inner joy.

This Full Moon is our chance to make a more conscious effort to embrace, integrate, and explore the lighter/higher vibrations of Leo. This is a courageous, optimistic, and self-expressed sign, that represents our capacity to love — and our willpower. It signifies the quest to live from our center, our core, our truth — with joy in our heart.

This Full Moon reminds us that everyone has the power to make a difference in the world, small or large — and when we join together, that power grows exponentially. Ask yourself: How could I best honor both my individual self-expression and my interconnectedness with the world? How am I adding my voice (in small ways and large)?

As with all Full Moons, there’s a shadow side to be discussed — the shadow of both signs involved in this Full Moon — and please note that the shadow side of any sign is usually not as comfortable to look at or easy to embrace.

Aquarius‘s shadow side might show up as…

As with all Full Moons, we are also invited to balance and integrate the two polarities involved — in this case, we are invited to allow head/intellect (Aquarius) and heart-expression (Leo) to merge, bringing about a brighter future for humankind — so ask yourself: What would it look like if I allowed that merger? What if I chose, right here and now, to contribute to humanity from a courageous, heart-centered, and authentic place? What if I simply chose that right now?

We are also encouraged to acknowledge that we are all in this together, and yet each one of us has the ability to effect change by tapping into our courage and living our vision — which takes dropping into our hearts more fully.

One important thing to mention here with this Full Moon: Mercury is stationing and will start its 3-week Retrograde phase in 26º of Aquarius less than two days after the Full Moon becomes exact (on Jan. 30th). Mercury symbolizes our mental energy, our capacity for perceiving and sharing information, and our ability to recognize connections and patterns. This heightens our mental capacity tremendously.

Mercury normally spends about 2-3 weeks in a sign. Because of its Retrograde motion, it will spend 9.5 weeks this year in Aquarius, the sign ruled by Uranus. Aquarius is about revolutionary change, which ultimately must come not only from a change of mind, but also a change of heart.

Ask yourself: What if the contents of my mind and heart radiate out, affecting those around me, influencing the collective experience? If that were true, what would I decide to think about? What vision would I hold in mind? Would I open my heart just a little further than I have until now? What might result if I aligned my mental vision with my heart-energies?

This first Mercury Retrograde phase of 2021 takes place in Aquarius (26º – 11º) — and we will discuss it in more detail during our Monthly Forecasting Forum. The Forum goes live on Jan. 29th at 2pm EST; to join us live, or get the mp4-video recording to watch later, register here.

Uranus, the modern ruler of Aquarius, is currently in Taurus and aligns with Mars: Uranus is the higher octave of Mercury, increasing our access to innovative thinking and alternative solutions; in Taurus, it is connected to our possessions, what we value, and to our planet’s resources.

Ask yourself: How have I been honoring my body? My possessions? The planet? How much freedom is there in holding on to valuing my physical reality in that particular way? Am I angry? Do I want to tear things down? What is crying out for change?

Could I be open to any insights or ingenious solution in regards to my body, my finances, or the planet? What actions could I take (large or small) to start the process of honoring my own body? The planet? What if I could always see my value, no matter what the social consensus is?

Saturn is the traditional ruler of Aquarius, and therefore co-ruler with Uranus — and it is currently aligned with Jupiter and the Sun in Aquarius. This trio is pointing toward our affiliations and communities (online or locally) and asking us see how we can grow through (and with) them.

The Moon in Leo opposes the Sun/Saturn/Jupiter alignment in Aquarius and squares the Uranus/Mars alignment in Taurus. This creates a T-Square — so let’s unpack all of that:

The Moon’s opposition to that lineup in Aquarius asks us to make realistic choices around connecting with others — we are invited to do our best, and be our most authentic, joyful Self when connecting with like-minded people.

As best as you can, make clear choices when it comes to engaging with a cause, or with like-minded people. We are asked to balance our need for heartfelt and joyful self-expression with our desire for intellectually stimulating and inspirational exploration.

Ask yourself: Am I living from my essence or my conditioned Self?

To get a better sense which one it might be, ask yourself: To what degree do I experience joy? Gratitude? Love? No matter what plays out in the collective experience or in my various communities?

What might happen if I consciously and playfully steered my ship towards joy, gratitude, and love? What is in my heart, that longs to be expressed? Do I have the courage to stand in my authentic self-expression?

The Uranus/Mars alignment in Taurus is the Focus point of the T-Square involving the Sun/Saturn/Jupiter alignment in Aquarius & the Moon in Leo. We have a strong desire to break free from outdated value systems — but change and the unknown can feel stressful and uncomfortable.

This invites us to ask these questions: What might it look like to consciously break away from situations that have limited me, when it came to honoring myself and my talents? Where could I release possessions or attachments to things or people that no longer reflect who I am? Where do I need to draw the line and say “enough is enough”?

How could I embrace “change” 5% more? How could change show up in a responsible and mature way? What if I thought of “change” as progress? What would it look like if I gave myself and others the space we all deserve and need at this time?

Feel free to hear more about this aspect via my video about the “Jupiter/Saturn conjunction in Aquarius squares Uranus in Taurus”

The empty leg of this T-square lands in Scorpio: we are invited to bring our innovative actions or desires to emotionally authentic and trusted connections with others.

Ask yourself: What single action step could I take right now to empower myself and others? What might be possible if I embraced all of me — my light and my darkness? What role does trust play in my interactions with others? How about distrust? What role does freedom play in my intimate relationships?

Accepting each other’s differences is important right now, as we all have different values — and those values create our preferences and determine our comfort zone. Ask yourself: How could I take those differences less personally? Is it at least possible that I could honor my own differences without making other’s wrong? Could I hold the space for other people’s fears and comfort levels?

If you are familiar with your natal chart, take a look at your natal Venus to see how this might play out for you (because Uranus is in Taurus, and Venus rules Taurus 😉 If you prefer that I take a look at this for you, feel free to either book a 25-minute Soul Purpose Reading with me, or ask your question during the Monthly Forecasting Forum on Jan. 29th.

Let’s also take a look at the Venus-Pluto alignment in Capricorn in this Full Moon chart — it invites us to learn to empower ourselves and others and release deep fears around feeling disempowered in our careers or out there in the world.

Ask yourself: What might become possible if I had deep, totally authentic connections with others? What would it look like if I were completely truthful about my motivations and needs?

Everyone has the power to make a difference in the world, whether on a large scale or small — and when we join together, that power gets exponentially bigger: 3+3 is actually 3×3, 4+4 becomes 4×4, etc.

This makes it important to be especially aware and responsible when we are with others. Ask yourself: What am I bringing forth with my collaborations? What are my intentions? Do I aim to empower — or be in power? Do I connect with an open heart? Or a protective one?

The Moon in Leo trines Chiron in Aries. This Trine is exact 6 hours before the Full Moon becomes exact. We feel excited about new healing modalities for body, mind, and heart, aimed at renewing our inner joy. There’s an opportunity here to be compassionate toward ourselves and others and for connecting to our inner child.

Ask yourself: What if tapping into my inner joy and exploring things holistically could bring a healing quality to childhood wounds? How might a “wholistic” approach around my masculine energies give me a greater understanding of myself and what I have identified with (or as)?

What if self-love and self-acceptance led to self-alignment? And if there’s even a chance that this might be true… would it be worth trying 5% more self-acceptance as an experiment? Or just for fun?

Last but not least: Neptune (the energy that connects us to universal love and the “Higher Heart”) is still squaring the Moon Nodes until Feb. 17th, 2021. These Squares could leave us feeling anxious or restless, so as best as you can, slow down, acknowledge what is, and know that all is well in each “now moment”.

Ask yourself: What challenges am I facing around resting, trusting, allowing and being present? How closely am I in touch with my intuition? What might be possible if I shifted further from social-cultural conditioning to “feeling into” the truth of who I am? What if I trusted that truth, the truth of my “Higher Heart”? What if I lived from it?

Feel free to hear more about this aspect via my additional support video about “Neptune in Pisces squares the Moon Nodes”

To sum it all up: This Full Moon urges us to remember that we all have an important part to play in humanity’s evolution — that we chose to be born a part of this transition, on this planet, at this time.

If we want to see a greater shift in the world at large (an Aquarian concern), we must each do our own part, express our unique gifts, and live with a courageous heart (Leo’s imperative). That said, if we don’t come from the heart — for example, if we over-think things and/or become overly concerned with what other people are thinking — we will not be able to fulfill on that vision for humanity.

A lot of us are waking up to the reality that everything is interconnected — and that life is meant to be lived from a wholesome place, one that includes the heart, the head, and indeed all of who we are. This is a life that doesn’t compartmentalize the uncomfortable, but embraces all shadows and imperfections: You might call it “Being Human” 😉

Flexibility is key! Living as though nothing has changed will limit us, as will being fearful, and making up new rules that help us “cope” with all the changes. So what can we do?

Ask yourself: Where am I being called to be more courageous and self-expressed? Where could I achieve more by joining forces with like-minded people? Who shares my vision and passion for a better world? What part might an open mind and heart play in a successful outcome? How might being emotionally authentic and trusting with others contribute?

I’d like to end with this quote from Eileen Meyer: “If you are not willing to feel, then you are not willing to reconnect with your Source, for this is where your inner intuitive voice comes from. This is where the Truth comes from that sets you free, truly free… Choose Love. Choose the direction of wholeness… You are in a very magical crossroads at this point in time where you may choose and begin to build and solidify a new reality, a new world based on Love, truly on Love.”
