December 24th – 30th

A New Future — Forecast for Dec. 24th – 30th

This week’s headline items: Uranus begins its station phase on Monday, Eclipse season officially starts on Wednesday, and the last Quarter Moon in Libra becomes exact early Saturday morning.

There will be four Moon VoC phases this week: Monday late morning (for a little over 2 hours), Wednesday late morning (for a little over 2 hours), Friday late morning (for 4 hours), and Sunday early evening (for 2.5 hours).

Before we get to this week’s forecast, I have one quick announcement:

Star and SuperStar Members: check your email for the link to the mp4-video recording and enjoy watching it! I sent it out on Dec. 20th late evening 😉

Now, this week’s Forecast:

Monday (Dec. 24th): the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer until 11:59am EST. With this Moon placement, we are more sensitive to what people say and therefore our feelings are more easily hurt — so be kind to yourself and others. Self-Care is key for the next two and half days 😉

Emotional safety is important to us as well; we like connecting to the familiar and we enjoy nurturing ourselves and others — home and family call to us, for instance. Make sure though, that your glass is filled before letting others drink from it, otherwise you might start to feel drained and resentful.

Monday at 9:50am EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for a little over 2 hours, until 11:59am EST. You may be aware of two seemingly conflicting desires: On the one hand, a need for connection to the familiar; on the other, a desire to break free and rebel. Make space to both pursue your vision and improvements in general, and for taking care of emotional or family issues.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday late morning ahead of time

Monday at 11:59am EST, the Moon moves into fun and attention-loving Leo, where it will journey until Wednesday early afternoon. We may lack objectivity and struggle with backing down or compromising.

We all love to be admired and — or at the very least acknowledged — for our greatness… 🙂 So if you can, hand out some compliments, let people in your life know how proud you are of them, tell them how much you love them. Come from the heart with this and all other things: be honest, authentic.

Fun, games and romance are a big part of this energy as well. You might also enjoy spending time with little ones. If there are no “outer children” around, how about getting in touch with your “inner child” — it’s definitely easier for the next two days. What are you most grateful for today? What would be heaps and heaps of fun? What would be so much fun, you let out a tiny squeak, just thinking of it?

Monday evening, a challenging Mercury/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 7:32pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Dec. 22nd on, it will remain strong until this Wednesday (Dec. 26th). This aspect asks us to stretch ourselves and grow.

We may experience a lack of clarity and objectivity. We might make embarrassing errors, neglect important details, or carry some delusions now. Our lack of clarity may make it difficult for others to understand us.

We are more imaginative now, and easily swayed by the opinions of others. We can be highly creative and inspired under this influence, but also overly sensitive, touchy, or impractical. What might a creative approach to life be?

It can be hard to follow routines. Concentrating on monotonous tasks and work (or study that involves attention to detail or rote learning) may also be challenging at this time. As best as you can, be compassionate with yourself and others during these 5 days.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 11-17 degrees of Sagittarius, Pisces, Gemini or Virgo? If so, you are more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Pisces (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Neptune rules Pisces).

Also on MondayUranus begins to slow down (station) — it will come to a complete halt on Jan. 6th, prior to starting its direct motion again after its 5-month retrograde phase. We will feel this station until Jan. 14th; until then, anything connected to Uranus’s energy will come into our awareness quite strongly; we are faced with this planet’s message.

Uranus is all about breaking away from traditional structures, moving towards a new future, a future that serves others as well as ourselves. Keyword: Freedom. We might have flashes of insight or new ideas about what needs to change in our lives. Definitely expect the unexpected.

Uranus also rules electronics, technology and the internet, so don’t be surprised if you experience some interruptions or short-term failures in these areas. Group activities are also ruled by Uranus, so these will also be more at the forefront of our awareness. As best as you can, stay open and flexible, go with the flow — and pay attention to those messages from the Universe 😉

As best as you can, take a closer look at whatever is “in your face” for the next 3 weeks. Our intuitions will be very strong during this time and we have access to sudden insights and ideas. This gives us the opportunity to take a look to see how free we actually feel.

Are we expressing our individuality to the fullest? Are we connecting to a larger vision? Is anything holding us back? What did you discover about visions and freedoms these past 5 months?

Some of us will be more affected than others, depending on how it interacts with our personal chart. Is your Sun-sign or Ascendant in…

….Aquarius? Or do you have your Ascendant, Career Point or any personal planets in the following: 26-29 degrees of Aries, Libra,Cancer, Capricorn, or 0 degrees of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo or Aquarius? If so, you are more affected by this station phase.

Tuesday (Dec. 25th): the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo all day (see Monday early afternoon for details).

Tuesday early morning, things flow nicely; we feel excited about new adventures. We have an opportunity to connect, explore, and become part of something exciting.

Tuesday morning, feels a little uneasy. We need to develop an inner awareness around our two seemingly opposite pulls: on the one hand, a strong desire to accomplish; on the other, our need for play and fun.

We are asked to bring awareness to whatever it is we feel most committed to: Are we after laughter and joy? Or building a solid foundation? As best as you can, make adjustments as needed, and drop any self-judgment.

Tuesday late morning, we are invited to make some internal adjustments. We may want to have some fun, but may also need to tune in to our intuitive inner voice. What do you hear when you get really quiet?

Tuesday late afternoon, we feel a need for acknowledgment and adoration… and also for deep, authentic — even intimate — connections to others. As best as you can, get creative, and make space for both!

Tuesday late evening, feels a little uneasy again. We need to develop an inner awareness around our two seemingly opposite pulls: on the one hand, a strong desire to accomplish; on the other, our need for play and fun.

We are asked to bring awareness to whatever it is we feel most passionate about: Are we after laughter and joy? Or intense and authentic emotion? As best as you can, make adjustments as needed, and again, drop any self-judgment

Wednesday (Dec. 26th): the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo, until 12:50pm EST (see Monday early afternoon for details).

Wednesday at 10:37am EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for a little over 2 hours, until 12:50pm EST. During this intuitive time, have fun connecting with others and doing things that bring you joy — explore something different, take a risk.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Wednesday late morning/early afternoon ahead of time

Wednesday at 12:50pm EST, the Moon moves into detail-oriented, practical Virgo, where it will journey until Friday afternoon; turning our focus toward the practical and wholesome. We are generous with our time/services and we love to help others. We also have a fondness for science and anything that makes sense in our world — things and knowledge we can apply and use.

Health might come also into focus at this time. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.) align with our long-term goals.

Also on Wednesday, we enter Eclipse season until Jan. 30th, 2019; for 10 days before and after an Eclipse, we are usually in uncharted territory: anything is possible and it’s wise to expect the unexpected. Feel free to watch my video about the first of two Eclipses (will be posted by Dec. 26th).

Flexibility, thinking outside the box, and self-care are critical during Eclipse season! Self-care is particularly important in times of stress and/or change — basic things, like making sure that we eat healthily and regularly, drink plenty of water, exercise, get plentiful rest — and allow affection in from friends, family, or pets. Connecting to what feels supportive in order to stay grounded and regenerate ourselves can be very helpful as well.

Anything brand-new (and I really mean brand, brand-new) started during Eclipse season will likely not pan out the way we thought it would, often because important information comes to light only after the Full Moon that follows the Eclipse. If possible, try to defer any major brand-new projects until after Jan. 30th, when this Eclipse season is over. If something is beginning or ending in a way that seems organic allow it to be.

That said, projects and interactions that got underway prior to Eclipse season (before Dec. 22nd) are another matter — don’t stop your life just because it is Eclipse season 😉 Pay attention also to anything that got started at the time of the last Solar Eclipse in Cancer, in July of this year.

Another Eclipse-related phenomenon: not only do Eclipses bring up uncertainty in us, they might also leave us nervous, anxious, unsettled and disoriented. As best as you can, observe your feelings and stay grounded in the “here and now”. Connect to your intuition and inner wisdom; they will help carry you through this period. Remember: it’s temporary and we are receiving an upgrade — that’s a good thing!

Just like upgrading a computer, you will get all the information you need, as soon as the upgrade is complete — so as best you can, be patient. This does not mean that we need to drop everything; it just means it’s wise to check in with your higher Self — do this whichever way feels right to you 😉

Thursday (Dec. 27th): the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day (see Wednesday early afternoon for details).

Thursday morning, we are more capable than normal of looking at the details, and focusing on what’s sitting right in front of us that demands to be taken care of, so we can get to the next phase of accomplishment. We are invited to look at all the practical implications; we need to slow down and take our time if we are to manifest something that can stand the test of time — rushing things will most likely backfire right now

Thursday early afternoon, we seek a balance between head and heart, facts and faith, reason and intuition. That said, if you can achieve that balance, it’s a great day for being of service.

Thursday evening, we are being asked to stretch and grow — to undertake a process of adjusting our thinking. You may feel a little scatter-brained or all over the map. As best as you can, stay flexible — and don’t be too hard on yourself.

Thursday late evening, we can potentially accomplish quite a bit: The Moon in Virgo makes a harmonious aspect to Pluto in Capricorn. Virgo and Capricorn are Earth signs, so getting down to business and focusing on the task at hand takes less effort than normal. We are able to tackle anything that requires attention to detail and maybe even implement health routines or other systems that support our long-term goals.

Friday (Dec. 28th): the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo, until 3:23pm EST (see Wednesday early afternoon for details).

Friday at 11:27am EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for 4 hours, until 3:23pm EST. Use this intuitive time to balance your need for scientific clarity and problem solving against your passion for creative or spiritual endeavors. If you can achieve that balance, it’s a great time for being of service.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Friday late morning until mid afternoon ahead of time

Friday at 3:23pm EST, the Moon moves into harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra, where it will journey until Sunday late evening. The energy of the Libra Moon helps us be naturally courteous and diplomatic; we are more polite at this time, as we seek the approval of others.

We very much want to maintain equal, fair relationships at this time, and are therefore open to making compromises and negotiating. These next two days are a great time for mediation — but our need for peace and accompanying aversion to direct conflict could pull us to “yes” more easily than we might like.

We may also be able see both sides of the equation so well that we can’t make decisions. As best as you can, find an inner balance with this and communicate what needs to be said with grace and charm — even if it’s “No” 😉 One last quick note: this is also a great time for anything to do with visual arts. This Moon placement also starts the build-up towards the last Quarter Moon (which, will be exact Saturday early morning…)

Friday late afternoon, an opportune Venus/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 4:31pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from Tuesday evening on; it will remain strong until next week, Monday (Dec. 31st). This aspect brings an opportunity for new insights into relationships and love. There is a chance for strong physical attractions.

This could be a powerful and uplifting time for our romantic relationships — and for our pocketbook. Remember: this is an “opportunity” — opportunities aren’t necessarily handed to us, we have to make them happen.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (MC) or any personal planets in 17-24 degrees of Scorpio, Capricorn, Pisces or Virgo? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Scorpio (Venus rules Taurus and Libra; Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio).

Saturday (Dec. 29th): the Moon remains in relationship-oriented, harmony-loving Libra all day (see Friday afternoon for details).

Friday night/Saturday very early morning, a Mars/Chiron alignment in 28 degrees of Pisces becomes exact at 12:41am EST. We started to feel this aspect from this Monday evening on; it will be strong until next week, Wednesday (Jan. 2nd). This connection brings emotional healing to our bodies.

Seeking out energy healing or any other alternative forms of healing is going to be very beneficial, both to our emotional “bodies” and physical bodies. We may also find that music aids in our healing process, whether on a physical or emotional level.

This is also a great time to accept the validity of our own desires and feelings of anger; that way, when we do express them, we express them naturally and with confidence. Something may come along, related to a childhood wound, that we take personally; we may get triggered by this. Rather than suppressing your anger, as best as you can, allow yourself to feel it consciously; bring love and understanding to its origin.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 25-29 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini, Sagittarius, or 0-1 Aries, LibraCancer, or Capricorn? If so, you will be more affected by this alignment. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries (Mars is the ruler of Aries, so those of us with these placements will always be affected more strongly by Mars’s movements and aspects than others).

Saturday early morning, at 4:34am EST, the last Quarter Moon in 7.5 degrees of Libra becomes exact. We started to feel this aspect build from the moment the Moon entered Libra, on Friday afternoon. The Moon in relationship-oriented, harmony-loving Libra makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in ambitious, goal-oriented Capricorn.

This may bring up some challenges. However, it also energizes us to look at what needs to be completed — and what needs to be changed. This Moon phase brings us closer to Jan 5th, which will bring the New Moon/Solar Eclipse in Capricorn.

With the last Quarter Moon, rather than starting major new projects, it serves us take a look at what was started around the time of the last Eclipse — in this case, around July 12th. We now have about a week to wrap those projects up. What — if anything — needs last-minute adjustments? What did you discover since July 12th? What did it mean for you?

As best as you can, find creative solutions for anything that comes up (whether internally or with others).

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 5-10 degrees of Libra, Capricorn, Aries or Cancer? If so, you are more affected by this month’s last Quarter Moon. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer, since the Sun rules Leo and the Moon rules Cancer.

Saturday late morning, we are invited to make some adjustments in our lives and find creative solutions to seemingly unsolvable situations. As best as you can, look for solid foundations under any long-term goals currently underway, and for ways to create win-win outcomes for one-on-one relationships.

Saturday afternoon, we are invited to make some internal adjustments. We may want to connect with others, but may also need to tune in to our intuitive inner voice. What do you hear when you get really quiet?

Sunday (Dec. 30th): the Moon remains in relationship-oriented, harmony-loving Libra all day, until 8:23pm EST (see Friday afternoon for details).

Sunday very early morning, we may need to make some adjustments and find creative ways to work with the energies at play: On the one hand we need to collaborate with others and play nice, on the other hand, we feel a deep desire to be authentic and truthful about what we want to build long-term.

Sunday late afternoon, we are invited to make some internal adjustments. We may want to connect with others, but may also need to tune in and allow for gentleness and understanding — some healing might be required. What do you hear when you get really quiet?

Sunday early evening, at 5:53pm EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for 2.5 hours, until 8:23pm EST. Use this intuitive time to examine your one-on-one relationships. Ask yourself: How can I balance my need for connection and collaboration with my desire for freedom and individual self-expression?

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Sunday evening ahead of time

Sunday at 8:23pm EST, the Moon moves into passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, where it will journey until Wednesday early morning (Jan. 2nd). We feel things deeply and have “X-Ray Vision” and “Bullshit-Smelling Abilities” 😉

Emotional authenticity is extremely important to us at this time; anything less than 100% emotional honesty could be perceived as flat-out dishonest. Once we feel safe trusting someone, we want to merge with them, preferably forever… as long as our trust is never betrayed.

The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power. This occurs by a process of subtraction — it urges us to let go of whatever disempowers us. It’s thus an excellent time to look at “old” fears, limiting habits or emotional attachments, especially those stemming from past traumas.
Moon in Scorpio tends to run right over ambiguity — it’s “in or out”, “with us or against us”, “love me or leave me”. It can be stormy — a cold winter storm, or a torrid tropical storm of passion, depending on how we “work” the energies 🙂

Manipulation and paranoia are the lower vibrations of this aspect, so best as you are able, be straightforward — act in good faith and assume it in others. Best of all, be truly present to the fluctuations of your feelings — no matter if they’re “polite” or “timely”. Feelings aren’t facts, but they are information — and heeding them will help you embrace all of who you are.

Know thyself — and love thyself — you shall be set free. Remember: Love connects us to the Power within; Fear causes “Force” to show up — and that’s ultimately what disempowers us and others.

A heads up for next Monday (Dec. 31st): the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio all day (see Sunday late evening – Dec. 30th for details). In the late evening, Mars changes signs from creative, sensitive Pisces to pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey until Feb. 13, 2019. Also on Monday, Uranus station intensifies in 28.8 degrees of Aries, until Jan. 11th, 2019. More about the details in next week’s forecast. 🙂

Now, this week’s Forecast:

Monday (Dec. 17th): the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day, where it will journey until Tuesday early morning. Life is an adventure, we’re more open to new ideas, and have great enthusiasm for new projects. Patience is certainly not our strong suit at this time, but we can decide quickly, and act immediately.

Our independence and dynamism are important to us right now, so we may find it hard to be disciplined or accept advice at this time; in general, our responses to others tend to be more assertive or even aggressive. If you find your foot tapping, try hitting the gym, or finding other ways to burn off the body’s excess energy.

Monday very early morning, an opportune Mars/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 1:57am EST. We started to feel this aspect from last week, Friday evening (Dec. 14th) on; it will be strong until this Thursday evening (Dec. 20th). This brings an opportunity to connect our personal passions to our Soul’s passions.

We can dream up creative solutions to problems, and imaginative, unusual approaches to getting the job done. We favor subtle or peaceful solutions over conflict and confrontation. We feel more confident about our own talents

It’s especially satisfying to do work that helps others — perhaps in support of a cause that transcends our own narrow, personal interests.

Strategic thinking and execution is favored right now, as is eliminating waste around time and energy. Remember though: An “opportunity” is just an opening, it’s not automatically granted — we have to “step up” to the opening, then through it…

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 18-22 degrees of Pisces, Capricorn, Scorpio or Taurus? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Scorpio (Mars is the ruler of Aries; Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio)

Monday late morning, we are invited to make adjustments and find creative solutions around personal desires and needs, versus our deep passion and focus on long-term goals. As best as you can, allow yourself to make space for both; flexibility and adaptability are key if we mean to move forward with our plans and projects…

Also on Monday, around 10pm EST, Venus’s Shadow phase ends in 10 degrees and 50 min. of ScorpioDuring Venus’s shadow phases, it’s best to hold off on anything new in connection with relationships, things we hold dear, or place value on (including finances) — this is especially true when it comes to engaging in new relationships or partnerships. The good news is that with the Venus shadow phase ending today, we can finally go ahead and start up new enterprises, and make new financial investments.

Tuesday (Dec. 18th): the Moon remains in…

pioneering, fast-paced Aries, until 4:37am EST (see Monday for details).

Tuesday at 2:21am EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for a little over 2 hours, until 4:37am EST. Use this intuitive time to connect with people that can enthusiastically support your projects and share with them what you have going on.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Tuesday early morning ahead of time

Tuesday at 4:37am EST, the Moon moves into steady, peaceful Taurus, where it will journey until Thursday late morning. We love all physical comforts, prefer consistency, and would rather stick with what we know works well. In other words: change is not our favorite thing and “rushing things” goes against our grain.

What is our favorite thing for the next two days? It’s probably, slowing down and getting in touch with whatever delights our senses 😉

Tuesday afternoon, we are invited to make some internal adjustments: We may want to have some peace and quiet, while at the same time, feeling the need to explore something new. How might an adaptable mental and physical approach support us right now?

Tuesday evening: we are again invited to make some internal adjustments… We may want to enjoy some luxurious pleasures, while feeling at the same time a desire to have an adventure of the mind and soul.

Tuesday late evening, Slow down a little and focus on what’s sitting right in front of you that needs to be taken care of, so you can get to the next phase of accomplishment. Rushing will backfire right now.

Also on Tuesday, the Chiron Station ends in almost 28º of Pisces and gets back to its normal pace through the sky. We have a chance to implement everything we learned during the retrograde phase and move forward with any emotional or spiritual wounding or insecurities/sensitivities that came up.

For those of you who want to have a better understanding of your personal healing journey, feel free to listen to the recording of my Chiron-workshop: “Healing with Astrology” Click here for more info If you are a Member of my online community already you have access to this workshop for FREE via your Member’s account (click on the “My Courses” tab).

Wednesday (Dec. 19th): the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus all day (see Tuesday early morning for details). Wednesday early morning, we have an opportunity to meet our need for material comfort with a gentler, more intuitive approach.

Wednesday late afternoon, a challenging Sun/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 5:02pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from last week, Sunday evening (Dec. 16th) on; it will remain strong until this Saturday evening (Dec. 22nd). This asks us to stretch ourselves and expand from within. We might feel less confident about who we are, and have a hard time projecting a social “front”. Our conditioned mind and wounded feelings may be out of harmony with each other.

As best as you can, take this as an opportunity to make space for feeling vulnerable or emotional without seeing yourself as weak or “less than”. It is perfectly ok to have feelings and feel insecure once in a while; as best as you can, bring compassion and love to yourself and others. After all, we are all human…

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (MC) or personal planets in degrees of 25-29 Sagittarius, Pisces, Virgo, Gemini or 0-1 degree of Capricorn, Aries, Cancer, or Libra? If so, you will feel the effects of this aspect more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo (the Sun rules Leo).

Wednesday at 7:42pm EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for almost 14 hours, until 9:34am EST (Thursday late morning). Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to tap into your intuitive and imaginative abilities — then focus anew on what’s important for you, without rushing it.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Wednesday evening until Thursday late morning ahead of time.

Thursday (Dec. 20th): the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus and VoC until 9:34am EST (see Tuesday early morning and Wednesday evening for details).

Thursday at 9:34am EST, the Moon moves into chatty, versatile Gemini, where it will journey until Saturday late morning. For the next two days, we like to learn, connect and interact as much as possible. “Busy” feels good: connecting online, on the phone, or sharing face-to-face, preferably multi-tasking all the way…

The one thing we can do without is boredom: If our mind is not engaged in some way, we might as well curl up and play dead 🙂

Thursday late morning, a harmonious Sun/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 11:22am EST. We started to feel this aspect from Monday evening on; it will be strong until Sunday evening. This aspect connects us to a strong energy field — physical and metaphysical. We feel alive, we want to create a better future for ourselves and others, and we are excited to do it. Watch out for messages from the Universe 🙂

Originality and innovation come easy to us, as does connection with like-minded people. We can celebrate (and leverage) our idealism and unorthodox approaches to life’s challenges. What if you expressed what’s uniquely “you” without apologies? What if you did it with authenticity and enthusiasm? And, looking at things from a different angle: What might be possible with a bigger network of like-minded people?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (MC) or personal planets in 25-29 degrees of Sagittarius, Aries , Leo or 0-1 degrees of Capricorn, Taurus, or Virgo? If so, you will feel more blessed by this planetary connection than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aquarius or Leo (the Sun rules Leo; Uranus rules Aquarius).

Friday (Dec. 21st): the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini all day (see Thursday late morning for details).

Friday early afternoon, a harmonious Venus/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 12:11pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from this Monday evening on; it will remain strong until next week, Monday (Dec. 24th).  This supports us with the flow of feelings, especially in connection to our relationships and whatever we most value. Bringing compassion to our deepest feelings (including fears) and how we relate to others is going to feel easier at this time.

Our intuition and instincts are strongly supported here too. It becomes easier to trust others and open up to them; we give ourselves permission to receive love and emotional support. As best as you can, let all feelings flow.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 11-17 degrees of Scorpio, Pisces or Cancer? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Pisces (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Neptune rules Pisces).

Friday early afternoon, a Mercury/Jupiter alignment in almost 9.5 degrees of Sagittarius becomes exact at 12:37pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from this Tuesday evening on, it will remain strong until next week, Monday (Dec. 24th). This is the second of two alignments between those two planets within the last 3.5 weeks. The last one was exact on Nov. 27th.

Think back to that week, and see what came up for you in regards to your view on life — with Mercury no longer retrograde, we get a chance to take a look at all that one more time and see if we need to view things differently this time around. What’s your attitude now? How has it changed since the week of Nov. 27th?

This alignment definitely brings optimism and a tendency to talk and think more. It favors writing lists and prioritizing daily routines, submitting applications and forms, and test-taking.

We can more readily exercise good judgment, take a more philosophical approach to thinking, and find it easier to bring wholeness and order into our daily lives. There is a sense of mental expansion; we see our world as a place of constant adventure and personal growth.

We are optimistic and enthusiastic — and things tend to go well as a result. It’s all about thinking big: What if expanding our conception of thought helped us find a larger point of view on everything else too? What if that expanded view showed us how we might grow beyond who we were conditioned to be?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 6-13 degrees of Sagittarius, Pisces, Gemini, or Virgo? If so, you will feel this alignment quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo, or Sagittarius (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo, so those folks will always be affected more strongly by Mercury’s movements and aspects; Jupiter rules Sagittarius)

Friday early evening, at 5:23pm EST, the Sun changes signs from adventurous, optimistic, truth-seeking Sagittarius to practical, accomplishment-oriented, status-oriented Capricorn. This also marks the shortest day of the year (in the northern hemisphere) and the beginning of Winter — aka the Winter Solstice.

The Solstices are important turning points that take place twice a year: They are energetic gateways for the summer or winter season to come through. Solstice Points are thus extra-potent times to set intentions and take part in ceremonies.

The Sun will journey through the sign of Capricorn until January 19th. Capricorn is a feet-on-the-ground, eyes-on-the-prize sign. As the Sun travels through it, we take a realistic, grounded approach to life; we know how to do things, and how to get things done.

We have a stronger sense of society and its structure, and feel most secure when doing our part within that structure; as such, worldly recognition may take on more importance for us. Making plans for the future can be very effective right now. We are more risk-averse at this time but we are ready to work hard and focus on what is essential.

All this is especially true if you are a Leo or Capricorn Sun-sign or Rising-sign. As a Capricorn, you will feel a good dose of confidence and playfulness in the next four weeks; as a Leo, you are more cautious and practical than usual…working towards a realistic long-term goal might be just the thing for you to do.

Saturday (Dec. 22nd): the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini, until 11:28am EST (see Thursday late morning for details).

Saturday at 9:21am EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for a little over 2 hours, until 11:28am EST. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to connect with others, exchange information, and move personal projects forward.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Saturday late morning ahead of time.

Saturday at 11:28am EST, the Moon moves into into protective, nurturing Cancer, where it will journey until Monday late morning (Dec. 24th).

This Moon placement starts the build up towards the Full Moon (exact in a little bit, at 12:49pm EST).

Saturday early afternoon, at 12:49pm EST, the Moon opposes the Sun (in almost 1 degree of Cancer). Relationships of all kinds are highlighted during this time — but with this Full Moon, there is a particularly strong emphasis on family- and business-relationships. Feel free to also watch Full Moon video

We could say that this Lunation is the beginning of Eclipse season, even though officially it starts on Dec. 26th, because the Moon Nodes are also in Cancer/Capricorn. This would normally indicate that we are dealing with a Lunar Eclipse, rather than a regular Full Moon — but in the case of this particular Full Moon, the Moon Nodes are too far apart by degree, and we will have to wait until the next New Moon in Capricorn (in two weeks time on Jan 5th) for an Eclipse to be in effect.

That said, we will feel a certain resonance with the previous Solar Eclipse in Cancer that we experienced back on July 12th of this year, and also with the next Solar Eclipse in Cancer — it becomes exact in early July of 2019.

This Full Moon shows us how far we have come since July when it comes to self-care and any issues connected to family or home — and it’s worth noting that we are, so to speak, at the midpoint of that journey. We get to see where we need to step things up or move in a different direction.

We covered a preview of 2019 in our most recent Monthly Forecasting Forum on Dec. 20th! Feel free to get the mp4-video presentation of the live event, click here

This Full Moon also happens right after the shortest day of the year (in the northern hemisphere) and the beginning of Winter — aka the Winter Solstice. (feel free to read more on this subject in Friday’s post)

As you may recall, we usually don’t set intentions at the time of the Full Moon, however, this would be an exception because of the Solstice-energy.

With the Sun just having entered Capricorn — only a day before the Full Moon becomes exact — we are stepping into a new Sun-cycle as well as a new Moon-cycle. This would indicate that finding a balance between the Capricorn-Cancer polarity is essential in order to truly fulfill on our Capricorn goals.

Ask yourself: How am I balancing the demands of my inner and outer life? Home life vs. Career? Where am I able to be mature and self-reliant — and also contribute?

In order to emerge as healthy beings, we need to be able to nurture ourselves and others, in part by taking care of our feelings and our “inner baby” (Cancer) — yet we also need to be able to evolve into responsible adults, able to provide for ourselves and others (Capricorn).

Cancer represents the formation of the emotional body and an understanding of our feelings and needs; this helps us navigate life by building an awareness of what is healthy or harmful to us.

When we understand the Cancer energy fully, we have learned about self-care and receiving — not just giving, or helping others — while with Capricorn, we eventually learn about giving back, not just accomplishing for personal gain or reaching a higher status.

Full Moons also illuminate the shadow side of each sign — so, for the next two weeks, ask yourself these questions: Where might I be taking too little responsibility? Where might I be taking too much? When do I blame? Shame? Feel guilty? Where do I tend to get defensive? If I had better boundaries, where would I establish them?

In order to develop a healthy inner Capricorn, we must learn to listen to our feelings and honor our needs, rather than disregarding them. Only then can we build something of value and move towards mastery.

Ask yourself: Where might the balance lie between nurturing and self-care, versus achieving my goals? Are those things really in conflict? Am I doing what I want to do, or what I think I “should” do?

Saturn (the ruler of Capricorn) aligns with the Sun and opposes the Moon. This brings a more serious tone to the pursuit of long-term goals — we are called upon to “get real” and bring conscious awareness to our roles, rules, responsibilities, and to our limitations and boundaries.

Ask yourself: Do some of my existing long-term goals need a stronger commitment on my part? What new commitments are calling out to me? What would it look like if I made careful use of whatever lies within my control?

How do I deal with my own or other people’s limitations? What about their boundaries? How am I doing at setting healthy boundaries for myself?

This quote sums it up quite nicely:

“Time for children of God to grow up, and become adults of God instead.” — Swami Beyondananda

Now, the Moon in Cancer seeks to create a sense of home and family; it wants us to have the experience of nourishing bonds, and surroundings that support our emotional growth. Saturn opposing the Moon in Cancer invites us to bring a certain amount of maturity to our interactions with others — it’s about respecting boundaries, respecting the rules,…

Ask yourself: If I’m honest, how productive am I likely to be when I don’t take care of my most basic needs? How am I doing with sleep? Food? Water? Shelter? Giving and receiving affection, emotional connection, and safety? What would healthy, responsible self-care look like for me? What might open up if I did even a little better with that for the next two weeks?

Also ask: What happens when I don’t allow myself to feel my feelings? When I “should” on myself?

Where am I holding on to the past? How might this be affecting my reality right here and now?

And of course, as always when Cancer and Capricorn are involved: take baby-steps (or if you prefer “take it one day at a time” 😉 Ask yourself: Why would I sprint if I would arrive at the perfect time by walking? Check to see where any urge for rushing or “getting there” comes from — is it based in fear or love?

What if I trusted the timing of things 5% more? What if I brought 5% more compassion and love to every moment while working towards my achievement? Could I do that just by checking in with my physical and emotional needs from time to time? What might result from closing my eyes for a minute or two, now and then, to take a moment with myself, to tune in and center myself?

Another planet that impacts this Full Moon chart is Uranus. Uranus is currently in a very late degree of Aries, and trines the Sun in a very early degree of Capricorn, as well as sextiles the Moon in a very early degree of Cancer. The Astrological term for this is “out of sign aspect”. The signs involved here are not your typical Trines or Sextiles, but by degree still very powerful, especially since they are only 2 degrees apart from being in an exact aspect.

Originality and innovation come easy to us, as does connection with like-minded people. Ask yourself: Am I connecting to a larger vision for my future? How do my individual passions and goals connect to a larger contribution for society? What might be possible with a bigger network of like-minded people?

This is also a great time to work with your own astrological chart, or seek other ways to elevate your consciousness, create your own reality, and experience freedom from within.

Ask yourself: What does “unique leadership” mean to me? Where might I locate this energy within me? If I found it, what might I do with it? What small (or large) steps could I take to bring my unique vision to the world? What would be the first building block that would put some real foundations under my ability to manifest this in my various communities?

Remember: what you do for you, you do for everyone… and what you do for everyone, you do for you!

Mars, the archetype of desire and courage, willpower and assertion, is still in Pisces, located between Neptune and Chiron. This is building a bridge between compassion and heartfelt understanding and our spiritual healing process. Ask yourself: What spiritual or creative energy processes might support me on my healing journey at this time? What role might music “play” in all of this? Could I allow myself to tap into the “masculine” doing-energy from within?

Venus in Scorpio makes a Trine to Neptune in Pisces — both sextiling Saturn in Capricorn — this underlines the opportunity to experience more trust in our relationships and partnerships. Ask yourself: How might granting myself permission to receive love and emotional or energetic support from others support my long-term goals?

On Dec. 31st, Mars will move into Aries and square the Full Moon degree. Squares indicate turning points — and this one represents a turning point in our personal journey towards greater passion and fulfillment. Ask yourself: What does assertiveness look like when fear is not present? What if I could use my masculine energies in a courageous, enthusiastic way, without burning any bridges?

To sum it all up: Honor your feelings and needs so you can build something of value and share the fruits of your labor with the world.

As best as you can, mature to the point where you no longer need to look outside of yourself for approval or validation — and ask yourself: What would it feel like to be the master of my own life? Am I more connected to what nurtures me — or to my “shoulds”? Does my current environment support my inner growth? Does it provide me with nourishing bonds to others?

This Full Moon is connected to two signs that represent feminine, receptive energies; this requires us to generate from the inside out. Ask yourself (and as best as you can, be really honest with yourself): Where (and when) do I tend to look for permission outside of myself? When (and where) have I abdicated my authority — or projected it onto others?

As best as you can, be kind and gentle, compassionate, and accepting of yourself — this will help balance the Cancer/Capricorn polarities. During these next two weeks, self-care definitely deserves our attention… Make sure you get plenty of rest, affection, water, and healthy nutritious foods 😉  As a reminder, feel free to also watch my Full Moon video

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 0-3 degrees of Cancer, Capricorn, Aries, Libra or 28-29 degrees of Gemini, Sagittarius, Pisces, or Virgo? If so, you are more affected by this month’s Full Moon. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Sunday (Dec. 23rd): the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer all day (See Saturday late morning for details).

Sunday early morning, we may experience authoritarian or rigid attitudes, both toward and from others. This could create some tension or oppositional behaviors — so, as best you can, remain flexible and practice self-care, doing your best to take care of your emotional and physical body — that way, you’ll remain able to stay grounded in reality.

Sunday morning, requires some inner adjustments. We feel uneasy or awkward and need to make a choice, one that demands we develop inner awareness around two very different urges: on the one hand, the desire to connect to something new and exciting for the mind — and on the other hand, the need to nurture ourselves and stay in touch with our feeling body.

Sunday late morning, we are in a state of “flow” and emotional connection to others; spiritual and creative endeavors are favored.

Sunday early afternoon, we have a nice feeling of ease and an ability to trust and connect deeply with others. As best as you can, trust your intuitive sensing right now, allow whatever comes up to be beneficial for you, and your loved ones.

Sunday evening, we may take an all-or-northing attitude toward others; this could drive some tension or oppositional behaviors… As best you can, remain flexible and practice self-care — take good care of your emotional and physical body — that way, you’ll remain able to empower yourself and others.

A heads up for next Monday (Dec. 24th): the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer, until 11:59am EST (see Saturday late morning – Dec. 22nd for details). At 9:50am EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for a little over 2 hours, until 11:59am EST; as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow – you may also want to plan Monday late morning ahead of time. At 11:59am EST, the Moon moves into fun and attention-loving Leo, where it will journey until Wednesday early afternoon. Monday evening, a challenging Mercury/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 7:32pm EST; we started to feel this aspect build from Dec. 22nd on, it will remain strong until Dec. 26th. Also on Monday, Uranus starts its Stations phase in 28.5 degrees of Aries… More about the details in next week’s forecast 🙂

December 10th – 16th

What’s calling to you? — Forecast for Dec. 10th – 16th

This week’s headline items: Chiron’s station continues all week and Mercury’s ends on Monday. Mercury re-enters Sagittarius on Wednesday evening. Also on Wednesday, it’s time to take actions on your New Moon Intentions. Finally, the first Quarter Moon in Pisces becomes exact on Saturday morning.

There will be three Moon VoC phases this week: Monday late afternoon (for a little over 2 hours), Thursday early morning (for a little over 2 hours), and Saturday morning (for almost 13 hours).

Before we get to this week’s forecast, I have one quick announcement:
I was interviewed last week for the “Sexually Connected” Podcast, hosted by the very lovely Claudia Soul, Relationship & Intimacy Coach to the Elite, Sexologist, Author, and Radio Host.

Questions centered around how the zodiac can influence relationships and compatibility, and particularly sexual compatibility between the signs. I had a great time, and after we were done, Claudia kindly told me “Sonja, brilliant show and we shall have you back!”

As soon as I get the audio to the Radio show, I will post the link 😉 So, watch out for it on my website or on my Facebook Fan-page

Now, this week’s Forecast:

Monday (Dec. 10th): the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn until 6:39pm EST. We tend to be more realistic, serious, cautious; this can support practical endeavors and financial matters.

Our ambition surges and brings with it a need for structure and planning; when you add in the pragmatism this aspect supports, you can see how this could be a very productive time for business and long-term goals. Our reputation becomes very important to us.

As best as you can during this aspect, avoid “should-ing” on yourself. Take the pressure off, perhaps by saying “I am doing the best I can and that’s all I can ever do” 😉

Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn; it is currently transiting through its own sign, making this a great time to take look at your long-term aspirations and anything that you would like to master over the next three years. It’s also a great time to take a more serious look at our strategies for self-mastery.

For starters: Do you truly see “what’s so” in your life (as opposed to what you merely wish it to be, or what you would like it to be, or where you see yourself going, etc)? What is actually so right now? Once you have a handle on where “A” is, it’s easier to “go from A to B” — whether “B”

Monday at 4:27pm EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for a little over 2 hours, until 6:39pm EST. You may be aware of two seemingly conflicting desires: On the one hand, a need for serious, diligent accomplishment — and on the other, a desire to break free and rebel against obligations.

As best as you can, take some breaks, and “let your freak flag fly” — just for a moment — and revel in it! As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday late afternoon/early evening ahead of time.

Monday at 6:39pm EST, the Moon moves into freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius, where it will journey until Thursday morning (Dec. 13th). The energy of the Aquarian Moon relates to our instinct for improvement. Reactions are more intellectual than emotional; interactions more impersonal than personal. We are likely to have an increased fascination with the new and unusual.

Social gatherings, anything connected with group ideals and goals for the future, brainstorming, new ideas and methods, progress: all these are promoted during the time the Moon moves through Aquarius. Again: we have our eyes on the future — or on outer space 🙂 Personal freedom becomes paramount.

Also on Monday, Mercury resumes its normal pace through the sky, ending its station in 28.5 degrees of Scorpio. Communication and transportation is now back to “normal”, as are any associated gadgets, vehicles, etc. New ideas and information received during the Mercury retrograde phase (Nov. 14th — Dec. 6th) can now be reviewed. What did you discover about your inner dialogue — especially when it comes to your “expansive” or “fearful” self — during that time?

Tuesday (Dec. 11th): the Moon remains in…

…freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius all day (see Monday evening for details).

Tuesday morning, a somewhat challenging Mercury/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 6:38am EST. We started to feel this aspect from Sunday evening (Dec. 9th) on; it will remain strong until this Wednesday evening (Dec. 12th). This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward — and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed if we’re to see what needs adjusting.

It could be hard to make decisions under this influence, as we tend to doubt our perceptions, or our problem-solving ability. It may also be hard to read the intention behind the words used to communicate, leading to misunderstandings: we tend to feel uncomfortable — a sort of “inner itchiness”.

As best you can, give yourself time to respond, allow your breath to ground you — and empower yourself and others by coming from love rather than fear — after all, in this moment, aren’t you actually ok?

Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 28-29 degrees of Scorpio, Aries, or 0 degrees of Sagittarius or Taurus? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Aquarius (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Uranus of Aquarius).

Tuesday late morning is an opportunity to connect with others and explore actively the things that can bring us progress. Ask yourself: Am I open to explore something different? Am I open to seeing something that I haven’t looked at before? Am I open to new adventures?

Wednesday (Dec. 12th): the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius all day (see Monday evening for details).

Wednesday all day (and especially after 12:36pm EST): if you set Intentions last week Friday, or Saturday after the New Moon became exact, today will be the best time to take relevant actions. If you wrote your intentions down, go back and take another look at what came through intuitively. If you didn’t write anything down, get quiet for a moment and check in with yourself: What actions are calling to me?

Wednesday evening, at 6:43pm EST, Mercury will leave passionate all-or-nothing Scorpio (for real this time), and re-enter optimistic, adventurous Sagittarius, where it will remain until Jan. 4th, 2019. Due to its retrograde phase, Mercury journeyed through Sagittarius once before: between Nov. 1st and Nov. 30th. When Mercury is in Sagittarius once again, our thinking shifts from plumbing the depths of situations, to learning more broadly.

During this time, our mind has the desire to learn about a wide range of topics. We seek out ideals; our thinking is more optimistic and our faith increased. We are more equipped to believe and to persuade. With Jupiter (the ruler of Sagittarius) in its own sign right now, we are seeking spiritual and mental expansion, and a renewed faith in something greater than ourselves.

There will likely be a lot of idealistic talk, and a desire for philosophical conversations; as best as you can, listen to your thoughts, tossing the ones that lack an expansive tone for everyone involved. If you notice that you’re getting dogmatic or moralistic, think bigger! Why are you on this planet? What is the human journey all about? Expand your thinking by tapping into your inner wisdom and connecting to a broader philosophy.

Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo? If so, you will feel a greater need for expansion — let’s hope it’s not your waistline that expands 🙂 Do you have your Ascendent or Sun-sign in Sagittarius? If so, you will most likely feel more chatty for the next 3 weeks — until January 4th, 2019.

Thursday (Dec. 13th): the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius until 7:40am EST (see Monday evening for details).

Thursday at 5:20am EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for a little over 2 hours, until 7:40am EST. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to connect with others, exchange information, and move personal projects forward

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Thursday morning ahead of time.

Thursday a 7:40am EST, the Moon moves into creative, sensitive Pisces, where it will journey until Saturday evening. This Moon placement often finds us more sensitive, intuitive, idealistic and imaginative than normal. We also have a greater capacity for compassion, sympathy, and affection for all — but especially for those who suffer or can be regarded as the underdog.

But… that very idealism could also be our downfall at this time: We tend to see the best in everyone and everything, and when reality doesn’t match our idyllic vision, we might feel upset and even victimized by those harsh realities. A way out of this is to channel our idealism into spiritual or creative endeavors.

It’s also a great time for releasing fears — especially the ones based on a sense of separation — and experiencing “oneness”. Feelings tend to flow more freely; as best as you can, let them — in fact, “going with the flow” is the best way to go for the next couple of days. This Moon placement starts the build up towards the first Quarter Moon (exact Saturday morning).

Thursday morning, after the Moon has entered Pisces, we feel a need to go within and slow down — and at the same time, we also want to connect, learn (if possible), move fast, and have new experiences. This tension clearly invites us to stretch a little, and to seek resolution via creative solutions — the key here is to listen to our intuition, so we don’t drive ourselves or others crazy.

Thursday late evening, has a nice feeling of ease and an ability to trust and connect deeply with others. As best as you can, trust your intuitive sensing right now, allow whatever comes up to be beneficial for you.

Friday (Dec. 14th): the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day (see Thursday morning for details).

Friday very early morning, if we are awake at that time, we get an opportunity to be wholly present — and also to focus on practicalities and long-term plans. As best as you can, bring a sense of flow and faith to your business dealings.

Friday late morning, we feel more sensitive and need to slow down a little. This is a great time for spiritual or creative endeavors. Energy work, or anything that requires our intuitive side, will work best for the next several hours.

Friday late evening, we are invited to take actions that inspire connectedness and creativity. What actions could you take? We are also invited to “tune in” before taking any action: What feels right to you in this very moment?

Friday night/ Saturday very early morning, if we are awake at that time, we have the opportunity to be guided by inspiration, and fully commit to a project or task that might serve us long-term. As best as you can, listen and trust to the subtle messages in your heart, that stir you towards success.

Saturday (Dec. 15th): the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces, until 7:44pm EST ( see Thursday morning for details).

Saturday morning, at 6:49am EST, the first Quarter Moon in 23.5 degrees of Pisces becomes exact. We started to feel this aspect build from the moment the Moon entered Pisces Thursday morning. The Moon in creative, sensitive, compassionate Pisces makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius.

We feel compelled to take action. Last week on Dec 7th, the New Moon in Sagittarius became exact: “Seeds” planted then are probably “sprouting” by now — and making their first real contact with the outside world. This is therefore a time to stretch and grow — and create some forward momentum. We may feel anxious or unusually busy.

As best as you can, go one breath at a time. Allow for changes, remain flexible (as much as possible), and find creative solutions for your day-to-day interactions with others.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 21-26 degrees of Pisces, Sagittarius, Virgo or Gemini? If so, you will feel the effects of this first Quarter Moon more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Also, Saturday at 6:49am EST, right as the first Quarter Moon becomes exact, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for almost 13 hours, until 7:44pm EST. Use this intuitive time to make some adjustments in your life. As best as you can, find creative solutions to seemingly unsolvable situations.

Make space to go within and listen to the subtle voice of your intuition — and to go beyond what you already know and explore something new. That said, as always with a Moon VoC, avoid starting anything brand-new. It’s best to either stick to your routine, thoroughly plan out the whole of Saturday’s daytime hours ahead of time — and if that won’t work for you, just go with the flow.

Saturday at 7:44pm EST, the Moon moves into pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey until Tuesday early morning.

Sunday (Dec. 16th): the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day (see Saturday evening for details).

Sunday late morning, an opportune Venus/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 9:26am EST. We started to feel this aspect from Thursday evening on; it will be strong until next week, Wednesday (Dec. 19th). This aspect gives us the opportunity to bring a sense of realism to our relationships, values and financial affairs: We are more able to get to the bottom of what needs to be dealt with in those areas and take responsibility for how we are handling things.

On a financial level, we have an opportunity to see more clearly when and how we might make long-term investments in other people’s resources. There’s no need to rush anything; think it through carefully and responsibly — do the “due diligence”. Remember: an opportunity is not automatically given to us, we have to “take” it.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 7-12 degrees of Scorpio, Capricorn, Pisces or Virgo ? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Capricorn (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn).

Sunday late morning/early afternoon: we feel an enthusiasm for personal achievement and exploration; in particular, we have an urge to explore something new that helps us develop an all-around understanding of the bigger picture. What might you be able to explore right now that you haven’t so far? What’s calling to you?

Later (in the afternoon), we are invited to make adjustments and find creative solutions around personal desires and needs, versus our focus on long-term goals. As best as you can, allow yourself to make space for both; flexibility and adaptability are key if we mean to move forward with our plans and projects.

Also, Sunday afternoon we are invited to make some inner adjustments. We feel uneasy or awkward and need to make a choice, one that demands we develop inner awareness around two very different urges: on the one hand, the desire to connect intimately with others and go to a deeper level — and on the other hand, the need to take care of ourselves and remain independent.

A heads up for next Monday (Dec. 17th): the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day (see Saturday for details). In the very early morning, an opportune Mars/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 1:57am EST, we started to feel this aspect from Thursday evening (Dec. 13th) on; it will be strong until next week Wednesday (Dec. 19th). Also on Monday, the Venus shadow phase ends in almost 11 degrees of Scorpio. More about the details in next week’s forecast 🙂

Now, this week’s Forecast:

Monday (Dec. 3rd): the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra until 2:55pm EST.

Monday at 1:16pm EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for a little over 1.5 hours, until 2:55pm EST.

You may also want to plan Monday afternoon ahead of time.

Monday at 2:55pm EST, the Moon moves into passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, where it will journey until Wednesday late evening.

Also on Monday afternoon, the Balsamic Moon phase beings when the Moon reaches 0º of Scorpio. This phase lasts until late Friday very early morning when the New Moon in Sagittarius becomes exact (more on that on Friday… In the meantime, feel free to watch my video on the subject). We are being asked to slow down and get quiet, so we can listen to our inner sensing/intuition.

For some of us, this might be a stretch. As best as you can: stay grounded, take a deep breath and exhale any tensions. Rather than starting something brand-new, put all that energy into completing existing projects or processes.

This is also a great time for letting go of whatever no longer serves us. What if you could hear the voice of your inner wisdom? What might it be saying?

Tuesday (Dec 4th): the Moon remains in…

passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio all day (see Monday afternoon for details).

Monday night/Tuesday very early morning, a harmonious Mercury/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 12:53am EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Thursday evening (Nov. 29th) on, it will remain strong until next week, Thursday evening (Dec. 13th).This aspect is a wonderful possibility for deep emotional healing in regards to our conditioning and day-to-day thinking structures.

We can bring compassion, for ourselves and others, to emotionally “difficult” communications. We are able to allow more for a flow of feelings as we share ourselves; forgiveness and understanding towards ourselves and others comes more easily now in general.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 25-29 degrees of Scorpio, Pisces, Cancer or 0-1 degree of Sagittarius, Aries, or Leo? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo).

Tuesday early morning, we have an opportunity to form long-term commitments with others, to be more practical, and to appreciate maturity in our intimate relationships, and financial partnerships.

Tuesday late morning/early afternoon: it’s easier now for us to connect with others (and ourselves) with gentleness and compassion. Taking action on deeply transformative and spiritual endeavors is favored right now.

Tuesday mid-late afternoon, we are likely to experience a sense of ease and flow, but may need to slow down and allow our feelings to come through. A gentle approach is best. We feel good when coming from the heart and making deeper connections with others. Being open to receiving, trusting the process and going with the flow are key!

Also on Tuesday, Neptune resumes its normal pace through the sky, ending its station (in 13.5 degrees of Pisces). What has come up in the last four weeks around resting, trusting and allowing? How closely are you in touch with your intuition? Now is a good time to bring some of these realizations you’ve had to the outer world, implementing some of it in your daily life, and moving forward with something that requires inspired trust, intuitive guidance, and allowing for the flow.

Wednesday (Dec. 5th): the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio until 9:49pm EST (see Monday afternoon for details).

Wednesday at 4:53pm EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for almost 5 hours, until 9:49pm EST. Use this intuitive time to connect with others (and with yourself) on an authentic, deep emotional level. Could you permit yourself to trust others and communicate your needs? What if it was safe to let others know what you feel (even if what you feel is dark or scary)?

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Wednesday late afternoon until the late evening ahead of time.

Wednesday early evening, a challenging Sun/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 5:22pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Sunday evening (Dec. 2nd) on, it will remain strong until this week, Saturday evening (Dec. 8th). This aspect asks us to stretch and grow: On the one hand we want to use our mind to feel confident and expansive, on the other hand, we are compelled to listen to our intuition and let our imagination go wild.

As you can probably guess, we’ll experience more “flow” in areas that favor intuition and imagination, such as creativity or spirituality. If possible, hold off on plans for more “practical” things.

We might feel confused; but we are being asked to have faith in the infinite support we receive every day from the universe — whether our mind understands it or not (what we understand with the mind is very different from what we comprehend with the heart).

Seeing through the illusion of separation from the divine is perhaps the greatest perspective shift of all. What might be possible if we allowed ourselves to shift from our conditioning to feeling into the truth of who we are?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 10-17 degrees of Sagittarius, Pisces, Gemini or Virgo? If so, you are more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Pisces (the Sun rules Leo, Neptune rules Pisces).

Wednesday at 9:49pm EST, the Moon move into optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, where it will journey until Saturday morning. New experiences and adventures satisfy a deep emotional need. The Sagittarius Moon persuades us to come from intuition and think in a broader manner.

We seek meaning and ideas that expand upon the “here and now”; we pursue truth and a new vision — the big picture, rather than the details. Spontaneity is key, we’d rather improvise than plan; this may tip into just “winging it”. We could also overdo or overstate. This Moon placement also starts the build-up towards the New Moon (exact Friday very early morning – Dec. 7th). Feel free to watch my New Moon video, if you haven’t seen it yet.

Also on Wednesday, the Chiron Station intensifies in almost 28 degrees of Pisces, as Chiron comes to a halt on Sunday (Dec. 9th); we will feel effects of the station until Dec. 14th. As mentioned in last week’s forecast already, Chiron’s energies are more exalted during this period.

Chiron is the wounded healer; currently in 28º of Pisces, our attention is guided towards our emotional and spiritual wounds. Chiron represents our inner insecurities, those self-conscious and wounded places. Chiron also represents the inner wound of abandonment and our need to “make it on our own”.

We are invited to approach these wounds on a holistic level, to heal them such that others are healed thereby. This is accomplished very simply and naturally when we work with the true beauty and strength of this energy: Compassion. Having compassion for our own wounds heals them and allows healing compassion for the wounds we now see in others.

What emotional or spiritual sore spots could you acknowledge? What needs to heal? At a different level, this time might also see an increased emphasis on water as a global and environmental issue.

Those of us with personal planets and points (ASC. or MC) in the following: 26-29 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini, Sagittarius, or 0 degrees of Aries, Libra, Cancer or Capricorn will feel this station more strongly.

Thursday (Dec. 6th): the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day (see Wednesday late evening for details).

Thursday at 4:22pm EST, Mercury comes to a halt in 27 degrees of Scorpio, and slowly starts its direct motion, after its 3-week retrograde phase. As best as you can, go with the flow, keep an open mind and pay attention to anything that is in your face right now — you may need to address those issues again, when Mercury moves through its shadow phase…more on that later.

We are slowly ready to shift our focus back towards the outer world again, taking in new information and sharing from a new perspective. What did you learn about your inner dialog over the past 3 weeks? How might you share your findings in a healthy way with others? What needs to be addressed with regards to  or ?

When Mercury gets back to its regular speed (by Dec. 10th), communication and transportation will get back to normal; the same is true of any associated gadgets, vehicles, etc.

Some of us will feel the effects of this station more than others: those of us with Gemini or Virgo as our Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant) — and those of us with personal planets (or angles) in the following: 25-29 degrees of Scorpio, Taurus, Leo, or Aquarius

As you may recall, I mentioned Mercury shadow phases in this update a few weeks back: If you want to buy, sell or ship big-ticket items, it’s best to avoid the periods shortly before and after Mercury goes retrograde. This is especially true if the items are connected to transportation (cars, plane tickets, etc.) or communication (phone, computer, iPad, etc.) This particular shadow phase ends on Dec. 24th (at 13.5 degrees of Sagittarius). Click here to read my blog on the subject

Thursday late evening, we may need to make some adjustments again. As best you can, honor both your need for adventure and exploration of life and your need to go within.

You may also feel a pull between introvert and extrovert, or simply fast and slow. Tune in for a moment and see if you need to take a break or at least slow down a little. As best as you can, be compassionate and kind with yourself.

Friday (Dec. 7th): the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day (see Wednesday late evening for details).

Thursday night/Friday very early morning at 2:20am EST, the New Moon in 15 degrees of Sagittarius becomes exact. With the New Moon in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, we seek to expand our day-to-day knowledge and look for the larger truth. Also feel free to watch my New Moon video on the subject

Ask yourself: What do I see from where I stand? What is my understanding on life? Do I see the glass as half-full or half-empty? Do I shy away from new adventures or thrive on exploring new territory?

The New Moon aligns with Jupiter in Sagittarius. We have a chance to create a world of adventure and personal growth. We feel optimistic — and that helps us attract positive circumstances.

Anything that expands our perspective is of interest to us at this time; this could involve things like travel, higher education, foreign cultures, or the search for a higher “meaning of life” and our existence on this planet… ask yourself: Might stepping outside of my daily routines bring me to a place where I can see myself (or life) from a new perspective?

Spiritual or mental journeys can definitely flourish at this time, as can ventures into a greater truth; we may well feel more vital, confident, and optimistic when it comes to those journeys — but if we don’t channel this energy into something that elevates our mind and soul, we may become a little restless.

With this much Sagittarius energy, we may also be prone to exaggeration or impatience… as best as you can, channel all that fiery energy into something worthwhile.

Ask yourself: What can I do with all the energy coming through? How might I use it to my advantage? Could I go beyond what I’ve known myself to be?

Be open to shifting your perceptions. You might ask: What are my attitudes towards life? When do I insist on “being right”? How do I usually feel afterwards?

Here it’s wise to distinguish between three truths: my truth, your truth, and “the truth” — what we need to watch out for is when “my truth” morphs into “the truth”.

Seeing through the illusion of separation from the divine is perhaps the greatest perspective shift of all. Which brings me to the next aspect in the New Moon chart: The Sun and Moon in Sagittarius also squares the Neptune-Mars alignment in Pisces. Ask yourself: What might be possible if I allowed myself to shift from my conditioning to feeling into the truth of who I am?

This aspect asks us to stretch and grow: On the one hand, Sagittarius points us toward exploring via our mind to experience  confidence and a sense of expansion, on the other hand, Pisces draws us to connect with our intuition and let our imagination go wild.

Ask yourself: Where am I being challenged to “be with what is”? What does “spiritual expansion” mean to me?

The challenge with this particular Square is fast vs. slow, extroverted vs. introverted, outer engagement with life vs. inner engagement with intuitive Self; it’s also about burning lots of energy as we explore life vs. a need for rest and inner peace, achieved through acceptance and communion with our inner divinity.

Ask yourself: What might be possible if I gave my body and mind the opportunity to slow down and get completely quiet at least 5 minutes every day?

As you can probably guess, we’ll experience more “flow” in areas that favor intuition and imagination, such as creativity or spirituality. If possible, hold off on plans for more “practical” matters..

Explore your conditioning and programming: What messages did I receive from my parents around my intuitive gifts or creative aspirations? How about from teachers? Religion? The culture(s) I grew up in? How does my actual experience differ from those messages? Where am I ready to expand beyond old programming? Which one of my “filters” could I do without for a while, just as an exercise in freedom?

We have two planets that are exalted at the time of the New Moon: Mercury (the communicator or messenger) in Scorpio and Chiron (the wounded Healer) in Pisces are both Stationing. Mercury ended its 3-week retrograde phase a day before the New Moon becomes exact, and Chiron follows suit two days after the New Moon becomes exact.

Ask yourself: Where am I ready to move forward with my Healing Journey? How could an emotionally authentic approach to others support  the next phase of my life? What am I ready to talk about that has been in the back of my mind for the last several days? What inner or outer conversations are ready for completion as a next step towards expansion and a greater understanding of life?

If you want to know how the Station-direct phases are impacting you personally, feel free to purchase my 90+ minute webinar on the subject, click here or for a quick preview check out this 20-minute excerpt of the webinar

You can also get this webinar for FREE if you join as a Star Member of my online community by Dec. 9th!

Not only are Mercury and Chiron exalted, they are also trining each other: This aspect is a wonderful possibility for deep emotional healing around our conditioning and day-to-day thinking structures.

We can bring compassion for ourselves and others to emotionally “difficult” communications. We are able to allow more for the flow of feelings as we share ourselves; forgiveness and understanding towards ourselves and others comes more easily now in general.

Ask yourself: What might be possible on my healing journey if I listened to the wisdom of my heart and soul? If I accepted my own humanity and my sensitivities? If I communicated all of this within my intimate relationships? What role would trust play?

Uranus in Aries squares the Moon Nodes in Capricorn/Cancer. We are being asked to take a 90-degree turn, to gain a new perspective, to explore different avenues leading to different outcomes, especially in regards to our personal and individual goals.

We are experiencing two quite different needs, pulling us in different directions: On the one hand, we want to focus on self-care and emotional connection with others (via the North Node in Cancer); on the other hand, Uranus in Aries asks us to individuate and learn about our personal passions and drives — and to have a breakthrough when it comes to walking our own path. We may also feel a desire to break free and rebel against obligations (this from the square to the South Node in Capricorn).

Ask yourself: How unique do I let myself be? Where do I stop myself from passionately stepping into my unique self? Could I give myself permission to “let my freak flag fly?” What if I lived without apologies just for today?

If this New Moon had a core message, it would be:  As best as you can, provide yourself with compassion and understanding — embrace your inner divinity in all its infinite wonder and capacity to simply know. Ask yourself: If there was a reason for me to be here, what might that reason be? Where am I headed? What do I believe — and what do I simply “know”? Where do I need to take a leap of faith… or simply trust?

As best as you can, question your assumptions. Ask yourself: What fundamental assumptions do I make about others? About myself? About life itself? What does my direct experience show me? How could “Beginner’s Mind” support a different perspective? Does my life as it is now reflect my philosophy — and vice versa?

Keep looking at what needs to heal, what needs to be communicated, and keep looking for the completion of “deeper” issues in your life. Again, feel free to watch my New Moon video on the subject

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 13-17 degrees of Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo, Pisces? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle. Intentions are best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact — and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase. So this month, the best time to set intentions would be any time between 2:20am EST Friday very early morning (Dec. 7th) until 5am EST Saturday morning (Dec. 8th); and then again from 7:01am EST on Saturday (Dec. 8th) until 2:20am EST Sunday very early morning (Dec. 9th).

Note, however, that there is a Moon void of course on Saturday early morning — it runs from 5:00am EST until 7:01am ESTDon’t set your intentions during those 2 hours — instead, allow intuition to surface possible intentions while you wait. For more info on setting New Moon Intentions, click here: https://staging.astrologercoach.com/tag/new-moon-intentions/

Friday late morning, a Mars/Neptune alignment in almost 14 degrees of Pisces becomes exact at 9:11am EST. We started to feel this aspect from last week, Sunday evening (Dec. 2nd) on; it will be strong until next week, Tuesday evening (Dec. 11th). This might contribute to feeling either a lack of physical energy, or a need to connect to spiritual or creative endeavors.

As best as you can, be patient with your energy levels for this week; go with the flow whenever you can, and, just for now, see what is would feel like to let go of wanting to be “the first and the best”.

This is definitely a highly imaginative time. The highest vibration of this aspect is idealistic, highly intuitive and romantic; the lower level vibration is about not seeing reality clearly (or wanting to avoid it altogether) — because it may be to painful to accept as it is. We might get confused or disappointed; things might seem a little foggy. Check in with others (or Source) when creating new goals for yourself during this transit: get reality checks!

Remember: the more we fight against any energy pattern, the more we will experience its lowest vibration. As best as you can, let go and let flow 😉

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 11-17 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you will be more affected by this alignment. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Pisces (Mars is the ruler of Aries; Neptune is the ruler of Pisces).

Saturday (Dec. 8th): the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, until 7:01am EST (see Wednesday late evening for details).

Saturday at 5:00am EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for 2 hours, until 7:01am EST. Use this intuitive time to connect with like-minded people and to learn something new about your unique self — explore, take a risk.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Saturday early morning until the morning ahead of time.

Saturday at 7:01am EST, the Moon moves into practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn, where it will journey until next week, Monday evening (Dec. 10th).

Once you have a handle on where “A” is, it’s easier to “go from A to B” — whether “B” is self-mastery or standing on the mountaintop.

Saturday afternoon, we have the opportunity to make meaningful connections that could support our long-term goals.

Sunday (Dec. 9th): the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn all day (see Saturday morning for details).

Sunday early morning, at 3:52am EST, after a 5-month retrograde, Chiron comes to a halt (in order to turn direct) in almost 28 degrees of Pisces. Chiron is the wounded healer; in Pisces, it brings our attention towards our emotional and spiritual wounds. As best as you can, watch out for any triggers that are connected to your past. (see Wednesday’s entry — about Chiron’s station intensifying — for more)

Again, for those of you who want to have a better understanding of your personal healing journey, feel free to listen to the recording of my Chiron-workshop: “Healing with Astrology” Click here for more info Please keep in mind: as a Member of my online community you already have access to this workshop for FREE via your Member’s account (click on the “My Courses” tab)

SPECIAL OFFER: to get this webinar for FREE, become a Star or SuperStar Member on my site by Dec. 9th.

Some of us will feel the effects of this station more than others: Do you have your Ascendent, your Career point or any of your personal planets in the following: 26-29 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini, Sagittarius, or 0 degrees of Aries, Libra, Cancer, or Capricorn? If you do, you may need to take your emotional or spiritual wounds under the magnifying glass. Take a closer look at how you can bring compassion and understanding to those wounds/insecurities.

Sunday late morning, a harmonious Mercury/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 11:07am EST. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Friday Nov. 30th on, it will remain strong until next week, Thursday Dec 13th. Due to Mercury’s Retrograde phase, this is the second time this aspect has become exact this week. Again, this aspect is a wonderful possibility for deep emotional healing in regards to our conditioning and day-to-day thinking structures. For more, see Tuesday’s entry)

Sunday late morning/early afternoon, we have an opportunity to soften our need for accomplishment with a gentler, more intuitive approach. As best as you can, take actions that feel in alignment with your heart, and your intuitive sensing.

Sunday late evening, our focus intensifies — we might even get a little obsessed with a project or task — as best as you can, take breaks and don’t forget to practice a little self-care 😉

A heads up for next Monday (Dec. 10th): the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn until 6:39pm EST (see Saturday morning- Dec. 8th for details). At 4:27pm EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for a little over 2 hours, until 6:39pm EST; as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow- you may also want to plan Monday late afternoon/early evening ahead of time. At 6:39pm EST, the Moon moves into freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius, where it will journey until Thursday morning (Dec. 13th). Also on Monday, the Mercury Station ends (28.5º of Scorpio). More about the details in next week’s forecast 🙂

November 26th – December 2nd

Get Plenty of Rest! — Forecast for Nov. 26th – Dec. 2nd

This week’s headline items: the last Quarter Moon in Virgo becomes exact on Thursday evening. Mercury (currently retrograde) reenters Scorpio on Saturday and Venus does likewise on Sunday. Chiron starts to slow down (station) on Saturday and Mercury will do the same on Sunday.

There will be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday very early morning (for a little over an hour), Thursday early morning (for a little over an hour), and Saturday late morning (for 15 minutes).

Before we get to this week’s forecast, I have one quick announcement:

Now, this week’s Forecast:

Monday (Nov. 26th): the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer all day. It will journey there until Tuesday early morning. With this Moon placement, we are more sensitive to what people say and therefore our feelings are more easily hurt — so be kind to yourself and others. Self-Care is key for the next day 😉

Emotional safety is important to us as well; we like connecting to the familiar and we enjoy nurturing ourselves and others — home and family call to us, for instance. Make sure though, that your own glass is full before letting others drink from it; if you don’t, you might start to feel drained and resentful.

Monday very early morning, a Sun/Jupiter alignment in almost 4 degrees of Sagittarius becomes exact at 1:33am EST. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Thursday (Nov. 22nd) on, it will remain strong until this week, Thursday (Nov. 29th). Ego gratification is the theme of this transit.

This is the start of a “new you” with more confidence and faith. We have a chance to create a world of adventure and personal growth. We feel optimistic — and that helps us attract positive circumstances. If you’ve been thinking about launching a new long-term project, this would be an excellent time to do so; this is especially true for projects connected to the Sagittarian energy.

This would include anything involving travel, higher education, teaching, sports, publishing, foreign cultures, or the search for a higher meaning of life and our existence on this planet.

Spiritual or mental journeys can also flourish at this time as can ventures into a greater truth. We may well feel more vital, confident, and optimistic when it comes to those journeys, however we may also be prone to exaggeration.

This is a good time to resolve conflicts, especially around foreign affairs or religious conflicts; we definitely prefer to see the good in the world at this time. Events may give our ego a boost, and we could be feeling quite perky and “alive”. Take advantage of this by promoting yourself or putting yourself “out there”.

If we don’t channel this energy into something that elevates our mind and soul, we may become a little restless. So ask yourself: What can I do with all the energy coming through? How might I use it to my advantage? Go beyond what I’ve known myself to be?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 1-7 degrees of Sagittarius, GeminiPisces, or Virgo? If so, you will feel this alignment quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Sagittarius (the Sun rules Leo; Jupiter rules Sagittarius).

Monday very early morning, a challenging Mercury/Mars aspect becomes exact at 3:06am EST. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Saturday (Nov. 24th) on, it will remain strong until this Tuesday evening. This aspect brings some juicy energy to our conversations. This is a chance to have some discussions that have been overdue — and given that Mercury is also Retrograde, you might want to take a look at whether something that came up in the last three weeks is now ready to be discussed.

As best as you can, make it a productive discussion that serves you and others — a win-win — otherwise you might feel really awful afterwards. Also, watch out on the road for crazy (or sleepy) drivers… rushing might not necessarily get us there faster 😉

Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in…

… 3-9 degrees of Sagittarius, Pisces, Gemini, or Virgo? If so, you may feel more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Aries (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Mars rules Aries)

Tuesday (Nov. 27th): the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer, until 3:35am EST (see Monday for details).

Tuesday before 12pm EST is your last chance to sign up for today’s FORECASTING FORUM. Please note we will address three Station-direct phases — in relationship to our own birth charts: Neptune in 13.5º Pisces, Chiron in 28º Pisces, and Mercury in 27-29º Scorpio.

Tuesday at 2:22am EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for a little over an hour, until 3:35am EST.

Tuesday at 3:35am EST, the Moon moves into playful, fun-loving Leo, where it will journey until Thursday morning.

Tuesday early morning, a Sun/Mercury alignment in almost 5 degrees of Sagittarius becomes exact at 4:15am EST. We started to feel this aspect build from last week Sunday night (Nov. 25th) on, it will remain strong until this Wednesday evening. This aspect indicates a confident mind and an analytical approach to life. Intelligence and communication abilities are strong at this time; however, we may not listen as well as the other speaks — we might be too busy thinking about what to say next.

With this alignment taking place in Sagittarius, we may feel particularly rushed or impatient, but it may not always serve us to get stuck on being “right” or insisting on things going faster.

We want an active role in communications — it’s very hard for us to passively listen and absorb information right now. What we say or write now has impact; so, as best as you can, choose your words wisely. If people hung on your every word, what would you say then? What would you hold back from saying?

Our opinions are strong and our thinking independent — and we’re proud of both — our egos may therefore get bruised if we don’t feel “heard”. As best as you can, express yourself fully, knowing that others may have a different opinion and that’s ok.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 2-8 degrees of Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo or Pisces? If so, you will be more affected by this alignment. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo, Gemini or Virgo (the Sun rules Leo; Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo).

Tuesday late afternoon, an opportune Mars/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 4:31pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from last week Saturday (Nov. 24th) on, it will remain strong until this Friday evening. This aspect is an opportunity to have more self-discipline and self-motivation in our lives — we could find an increased focus on our work and activities, coupled with a sense of trust and inner guidance.

We have a chance to face life with idealism and maturity. We tend to be more practical than usual, and our progress in most projects is perhaps slow but steady. This can be a very productive time for us but it is important that we source our energy from within. Remember: this is an “opportunity” — this isn’t necessarily handed to us, we have to make the most of it. It’s our choice.

Do you have your Ascendant or any personal planets in 5-10 degrees of Pisces, Capricorn, Taurus, or Scorpio? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Capricorn (Mars rules Aries; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn).

Tuesday early evening, a Mercury/Jupiter alignment in almost 4 degrees of Sagittarius becomes exact at 5:27pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Sunday evening (Nov.25th) on, it will remain strong until this Thursday evening. This is the first of two alignments between those two planets within the next 3.5 weeks; in this instance, Mercury is retrograde, bringing more emphasis to our inner mental process.

This alignment also brings optimism and a tendency to talk and think more.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 1-7 degrees of Sagittarius, Pisces, Gemini, or Virgo? If so, you will feel this alignment quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo, or Sagittarius (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo, so those folks will always be affected more strongly by Mercury’s movements and aspects; Jupiter rules Sagittarius)

Wednesday (Nov. 28th): the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo all day (see Tuesday very early morning for details).

Wednesday morning, a somewhat challenging Venus/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 7:03am EST. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Sunday (Nov. 25th) on, it will remain strong until this Friday evening. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We may feel uneasy or insecure in our relationships — and be faced with a choice — we must develop an inner awareness if we are to see what needs adjusting.

As you can imagine, this could make social interactions somewhat awkward; as best as you can, connect with kindness towards all (including yourself).

We may also have a hard time making financial decisions that feel satisfactory. As best as you can, bring a good dose of compassion and understanding to yourself and embrace your own humanity as much as possible… and remember: like everything else, this is only temporary 😉

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 27-29 degrees of Libra or Pisces? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Pisces (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Neptune is the ruler of Pisces).

Wednesday early afternoon, feels a little uneasy.

As best as you can, make adjustments as needed, and drop any self-judgment.

Thursday (Nov. 29th): the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo, until 6:08am EST (see Tuesday very early morning for details).

Thursday at 4:47am EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for a little over an hour, until 6:08am EST.  During this intuitive time, have fun connecting with others and doing things that bring you joy — explore, take a risk.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Thursday morning ahead of time.

Thursday at 6:08am EST, the Moon moves into detail-oriented, practical Virgo, where it will journey until Saturday late morning, turning our focus toward the practical and wholesome.

Thursday evening, at 7:19pm EST, the last Quarter Moon in almost 8 degrees of Virgo becomes exact. We started to feel this aspect build from the moment the Moon entered Virgo, early this morning. The Moon in detail-oriented, helpful and practical Virgo makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius.

This may bring challenges; however, it also energizes us to face what demands completion or change.

This Moon phase brings us closer to Dec. 7th, which will bring the New Moon in Sagittarius.

During the last Quarter Moon, we are better served by reviewing those projects we began around the last New Moon — in this case, that would be Nov. 7th — as opposed to launching new ones. Out of those projects, what needs last-minute adjustments? What did you discover since then? What did it mean for you?

As best as you can, find creative solutions for anything that comes up (whether internally, or with others).

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 6-10 degrees of Virgo, Sagittarius, Gemini, or Pisces? If so, you will feel this month’s last Quarter Moon quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer, since the Sun rules Leo and the Moon rules Cancer.

Friday (Nov. 30th): the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo, all day (see Thursday morning for details).

Friday early morning, we seek a balance between head and heart, facts and imagination, reason and intuition/compassion. That said, if you can achieve that balance, it’s a great day for being of service.

Friday afternoon, we can potentially accomplish quite a bit: The Moon in Virgo makes a harmonious aspect to Pluto in Capricorn. Virgo and Capricorn are Earth signs, so getting down to business and focusing on the task at hand takes less effort than normal. We are able to tackle anything that requires attention to detail and maybe even implement health routines or other systems that support our long-term goals.

Friday late evening, a Venus/Uranus opposition becomes exact at 9:13pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Saturday (Nov. 24th) on, it will remain strong until next week, Thursday (Dec. 6th). This opposition calls us to balance “togetherness” with “having our space”. Due to the recent Venus retrograde phase, this is the third and final Venus/Uranus opposition within the last 10 weeks; the first one was exact on Sept.12th and the second one on Oct.. 31st.

Think back to September (in particular Sept. 8th – 16th) and late October/early November (in particular Oct. 25th – Nov. 6th) and ask yourself: What did I notice in my relationships? How was the balance between “togetherness” and “having my space”? Where did mine and other people’s values differ? What role did objectivity play?

We may find that we disagree with others. We may be restless, even anxious, and therefore feel pressure to act (and react) impulsively towards others — or towards our finances. Try your best not to put all your money on a horse, just because it has a funny name, or elope with a random hottie 😉

We could also be caught off-guard somehow, so stay open-minded and flexible. Do not get a facelift or any kind of beauty treatment that has the potential to go horribly wrong. I’m not kidding.

If there were a way to fully express our individuality in our relationships, without needing to pull or push away… what might that way be? Could you shake things up a little, without being oppositional or offensive?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 26-29 degrees of Libra, Aries, Cancer, Capricorn or 0-2 degrees of ScorpioTaurusAquarius, or Leo? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Aquarius (Venus being the ruler of Taurus and Libra, while Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius)

Saturday (Dec. 1st): the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo, until 9:49am EST (see Thursday morning for details).

Saturday at 6:12am ESTMercury re-enters intense, passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, where it will remain until Dec. 12th. Due to Mercury’s retrograde phase, Mercury journeyed through Scorpio already once before: between Oct. 9th and Oct. 31st. Think back to that time: What did you communicate to others at that time? What came up in your dealings with others? How about with your inner dialog?

For the next 3 weeks, Mercury — the energy of communication — will focus once again on what’s most important to us on a deep emotional level. We can get to the very heart of any matter at this time (especially through conversation). We are more passionate about giving valid advice or support. We are not satisfied with superficial connection right now — it’s all or nothing.

For that reason, our mental processes could get a little obsessive. We may also be more suspicious and expect bad intentions. It’s a time that favors reading or writing about intrigue, mystery, and hidden motives. Mercury in Scorpio loves anything that challenges the brain and therefore we are often interested in what makes people tick during this time.

Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo? If so, you will feel a greater need for investigating deeper emotional issues or motives. Do you have your Ascendent or Sun-sign in Scorpio? If so, you will most likely feel more chatty or mentally alert for the next 11 days.

Saturday at 9:34am EST, we enter a brief Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for 15 minutes, until 9:49am EST. Use this intuitive time to get some clarity about your daily routines. You may also want to either communicate your desire for deeper, more intimate connections with others — or at least conduct some research into how to have such connections.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow.

Saturday at 9:49am EST, the Moon moves into harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra, where it will journey until next week, Monday afternoon (Dec. 3rd).

Also on Saturday, Chiron starts its station phase in almost 28 degrees of Pisces. It is slowing down as it gets ready to end its 5-month retrograde phase, on Dec. 9th. We will feel the effects of its station until Dec.18th; its energies are more exalted during this period.

Chiron is the wounded healer; currently in almost 28º of Pisces, our attention is guided towards our emotional and spiritual wounds.

At a different level, this time might also see an increased emphasis on water or oceans as a global and environmental issue.

Those of us with personal planets and points (ASC or MC) in 26-29 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini, Sagittarius or 0 degrees of Aries, LibraCancer, or Capricorn will feel this station more strongly.

Sunday (Dec. 2nd): the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra all day (see Saturday late morning for details).

Sunday early morning, a somewhat challenging Mercury/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 5:16am EST. We started to feel this aspect build from this Friday evening on, it will remain strong until next week, Monday evening (Dec. 3rd).

Sunday early afternoon, at 12:02pm EST, Venus re-enters Scorpio she moves from relationship-oriented, harmony-seeking Libra to intense, all-or-nothing Scorpio, where she will journey until Jan. 7th. Until then, our intimate relationships will get a lot of attention.

Due to her recent retrograde phase, Venus already journeyed through this passionate sign from Sept. 9th – Oct. 31st). Think back to that time: What was important to you during those 7 weeks? What did you discover about your intimate relationships? Your sexual desires? Other desires?

For the next 5 weeks, we couple a heightened intensity with a willingness to commit; our love attractions tend to promise deep commitment and sexual pleasure, even if we are not talking about this directly.

Venus in Scorpio seems fearless when it comes to intimacy. We are intensely loyal at this time, and will expect the same from our partner; mistrust is the biggest obstacle to forming a relationship. We feel a need to cut through the fluff and can see others exactly for who they are — it’s like having X-ray vision of the heart. As best as you can, honor this by being straight with others — especially if it’s someone you have (or want to have) a romantic relationship with.

With regards to finances, we are more likely to put our money into things we feel really passionate about. Investments in transformational programs are recommended, as are partnerships in general.

Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra? If so, you will feel more passionate and deeply loyal for the next 3.5 weeks; your heart will want to go deeper and connect intimately with others. If you are a Scorpio Sun-sign or Rising-sign, for as long as Venus is in your sign, you will attract more love, abundance and beauty into your life.

Sunday evening, a challenging Sun/Mars aspect becomes exact at 7:34pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Nov. 25th on, it will remain strong until Dec. 10th. This invites us to stretch ourselves and grow beyond what we know ourselves to be.

We might feel driven by a restless desire to “do something”, but must listen closely to our intuition, or our impulsive actions could involve us in needless arguments, or have us spinning our wheels (it would feel more like they were spinning in mid-air!)

Our reactions might be defensive or competitive. We might not be willing to commit or negotiate. However, energy output can run high if we get plenty of rest. As best as you can, take care of your body — and pay particular attention to its energy levels.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 7-13 degrees of Sagittarius, Pisces, Gemini or Virgo? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Aries (the Sun rules Leo; Mars is the ruler of Aries).

Also on SundayMercury starts to slow down again (“stationing”). It’s getting ready to come to a halt, ending its 3-week retrograde phase, on Thursday of next week, Dec. 6th (more on that next week…). For the next 8 days (until Dec. 10th), we need to be patient with ourselves and others — especially if there is a connection with communication or transportation, and their associated technologies. This is not the best time to start anything brand-new, especially if it contains new information that needs to be processed.

We might experience delays or misunderstandings, and things tend to feel “off” or stagnant. It might be a good idea to give yourself some extra time to get ready for travel somewhere — especially if you intend to use public transportation or drive (for more details on Mercury Shadow Phases and Retrogrades, click here)

We also talked more about the Mercury station-direct phase in our last Forecasting Forum on Nov. 27th. To see how this will affect you personally, click here to get the 90+ min. webinar (available after Nov. 27th) SPECIAL OFFER: to get this webinar for FREE, become a Star or SuperStar Member on my site: https://goo.gl/JLFckh by Dec. 9th.

Some of us will feel the effects of the Mercury station more than others: those of us who have Gemini or Virgo as our Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant); and those of us with personal planets in 26-29 degrees of Scorpio, Taurus, Leo or Aquarius.

A heads up for next Monday (Dec. 3rd): the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra until 2:55pm EST (see Saturday late morning for details). At 1:16pm EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for a little over 1.5 hours, until 2:55pm EST; as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow- you may also want to plan Monday afternoon ahead of time. At 2:55pm EST, the Moon moves into passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, where it will journey until Wednesday late evening. Also on Monday afternoon, the Balsamic Moon phase beings. More about the details in next week’s forecast 🙂

November 19th – 25th

Greater Realities — Forecast for Nov. 19th – 25th, 2018

This week’s headline items: Mercury’s station phase ends on Tuesday, the Sun changes signs from Scorpio to Sagittarius on Thursday early morning, the Full Moon in Gemini becomes exact on Thursday night/Friday very early morning, Neptune comes to a halt on Saturday evening (ending its 5-month retrograde phase), and Venus’s station phase ends on Sunday.

There will be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday early evening (for an hour), Thursday early morning (for a little over 18 hours), and Saturday night/Sunday very early morning (for a little over an hour).

Now, this week’s Forecast:

Monday (Nov. 19th): the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day. it will journey there until Tuesday evening.

Monday late morning/early afternoon: we feel energized and feel great enthusiasm for personal achievements and explorations. We are able to connect with others through optimism and humor.

Monday late evening, a challenging Mars/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 8:30pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Nov. 10th on, it will remain strong until next week, Monday Nov. 26th.

This aspect is an opportunity to grow by stretching between two poles: On the one hand, an emotional impulse draws us to go within and tap into our intuitive, creative processes; on the other hand, we also feel drawn to adventures and want to expand our horizons — but want to identify some higher learning or meaning before we make a move.

Here’s the question: Might tapping into our intuition help us expand our horizons?

We seek excitement and growth; we may not be satisfied with how things are — we feel an inner restlessness which demands freedom and “space” but doesn’t necessarily return the favor. We may have a tendency to overdo or over-exert — and our expectations of ourselves and others might be too high.

Ask yourself: What might open up if I expected 5% less of myself, just for today? What if I applied that to others too? Might my physical energy levels help me be realistic about how much I can expect of myself right now?

With this position, we never feel that we have enough experiences, knowledge, connections, etc. — it’s difficult knowing when to stop. If you can, pause and reflect: this will help with that feeling that you can’t get enough, no matter what you do. If we’re going to get tripped up here, it would be because we don’t know when to stop (or say no).

That said: we needn’t expect to feel tormented — in fact, this is usually a playful and humorous time — lots of joking around (including practical jokes) smiles, laughter. The key to this aspect is connecting our desire for a more ideal or divine connection to self and others to our quest for expansive yet truthful mental and spiritual explorations.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in…

…0-6 degrees of  Pisces, Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo or 29 degrees of Aquarius, Scorpio, Taurus, or Leo? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Sagittarius  (Mars is the ruler of Aries, Jupiter of Sagittarius).

Tuesday (Nov. 20th): the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day, until 6:43pm EST (see Monday for details).

Tuesday morning, a harmonious Sun/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 5:56am EST. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Saturday evening (Nov. 17th) on, it will remain strong until this Friday evening (Nov. 23rd). This creates a supportive environment for healing our insecurities.

We can bring greater awareness to our feelings of shame and any self-deprecating thoughts or behaviors. Paradoxically, we have the chance to shine, largely because we project self-respect and modesty. This is also a great time to recognize that our so-called flaws and insecurities have become some of our best assets and strengths. Where might this be true for you?

Something else that supports healing our insecurity is a sense of pursuing a worthy goal — this could be something as simple as a desire to learn and grow — and our goal-orientation helps us overcome any problems that arise while we’re on our “mission”.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career point (or one or more personal planets) in 25-29 degrees of Scorpio, Pisces, Cancer or 0-1 degree of Sagittarius, Aries, or Leo? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo (as the Sun rules Leo).

Tuesday at 5:46pm EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for almost an hour, until 6:43pm EST. Use this intuitive time to connect with people that can enthusiastically support your projects and share with them what you have going on.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Tuesday evening ahead of time.

Tuesday at 6:43pm EST, the Moon moves into steady, peaceful Taurus, where it will journey until Thursday late evening. We love all physical comforts, prefer consistency, and would rather stick with what we know works well. In other words: change is not our favorite thing and “rushing things” goes against our grain.

What is our favorite thing for the next two days? It’s probably, slowing down and getting in touch with whatever delights our senses 😉

Also on Tuesday, Mercury’s Station ends (at 12 degrees of Sagittarius). Mercury resumes its normal pace through the sky — but moving backward through the sky, as seen from Earth (that’s what “retrograde” refers to). Did any issues concerning your thinking and/or communication around expectations, assumptions, and beliefs in general come up over the last couple of weeks? If so, you now have a chance to do some internal work in those areas.

Wednesday (Nov. 21st): the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus all day (see Tuesday evening for details).

Wednesday morning: Slow down a little and focus on what’s sitting right in front of you that needs to be taken care of, so you can get to the next phase of accomplishment. Rushing will backfire right now.

Wednesday afternoon, a somewhat challenging Sun/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 2:51pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Tuesday evening on, it will remain strong until Thursday evening. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward — and we need to make a choice… so we need to develop inner awareness.

An unexpected turn of events could leave us uneasy or unsettled. How flexible could you be, if you really tried? What needs to be shifted internally, so you can stay open and aligned with your unique, divine goals?

Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 28-29 degrees of Scorpio, Aries or 0-1 degree of Sagittarius or Taurus? If so, you may be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aquarius or Leo (the Sun rules Leo; Uranus rules Aquarius)

Wednesday evening, we have an opportunity to meet our need for material comfort with a gentler, more intuitive approach.

Thursday (Nov. 22nd): the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus all day, until 11:10pm EST (see Tuesday evening for details).

Thursday early morning, at 4:01am EST, the Sun changes signs from passionate, intense, all-or-nothing Scorpio to adventurous, optimistic, freedom-loving Sagittarius. The Sun will journey here until Dec. 21st.

For the next four weeks, we may feel a little more restless than usual. We are more aware of our sense of humor and our love for freedom. Our approach to life at this time tends to be direct and honest.

We may want to connect to people from all walks of life right now, just so we can learn about others. We tend to feel more optimistic during this time; this may get us into trouble if we go overboard and only take an idealistic point of view. Wanting to learn, explore and have fun gives us vitality and zest for life. What would open you up to a new adventure?

All this is especially true if you are a Leo or Sagittarius Sun-sign or Rising-sign. As a Sagittarius, you will feel a good dose of confidence and playfulness in the next four weeks; as a Leo, you are more adventurous and restless than usual…exploring something new might be just the thing for you to do.

Thursday at 4:59am EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last a little over 18 hours, until 11:10pm EST. Use this intuitive time to empower each other in regards to earthly issues and mutually support each other in practical ways.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Tuesday all day until the late evening ahead of time.

Thursday at 11:10pm EST, the Moon moves into chatty, versatile Gemini, where it will journey until Saturday night/Sunday very early morning. This Moon placement also starts the build up towards the Full Moon, exact later tonight/Friday very early morning.

For the next two days, we like to learn, connect and interact as much as possible. “Busy” feels good: connecting online, on the phone, or sharing face-to-face, preferably multi-tasking all the way… The one thing we can do without is boredom: If our mind is not engaged in some way, we might as well curl up and play dead 🙂

Friday (Nov. 23rd): the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini all day (see Thursday late evening for details).

Thursday night/Friday very early morning at 12:39am EST, the Full Moon becomes exact in almost 1 degree of Gemini; as mentioned above, the entrance of the Moon into Gemini Thursday late evening started the energetic build up towards the Full Moon. The Moon in chatty, versatile Gemini opposes the Sun in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius

Full Moons give us a chance to realize how far we have come since the time of the last New Moon. We gain a better insight as to whether we are where we’d like to be or need to make some major adjustments. Full Moons also highlight relationships, and may bring about a crisis to heighten our awareness of any imbalances, thereby pointing us towards integration of certain polarities.

In this case, we are dealing with the Sagittarius/Gemini polarity, and we’ll seek balance and integration around those poles — something needs to be brought into alignment — so let’s look at them in more detail:

Sagittarius shows us a wider perspective, asking us to look beyond facts and learned knowledge to our life experiences and the wisdom we gain from them; it is interested in the bigger picture, the truth about life.

Ask yourself: What might I be able to learn from traveling? From an adventure? Simply by breaking from my regular routine? What type of experiences might broaden my horizons? Is it at least possible that a new perspective might retroactively “change” what I have been through or  experienced?

Gemini, on the other hand, wants us to stay connected to our immediate environment, our communities, and our day-to-day mind — it wants us processing and sharing information as fast and as much as possible. Gemini is interested in the spoken and written word.

Ask yourself: How do logic and language enrich my life? How could I better experience the power of my mind on a daily basis? How does my inner dialog contribute to that? What do I learn from my interactions with others? What am I willing to learn?

We are thus being asked to integrate the Gemini mind energy/information/conditioning with Sagittarius’s wisdom-energy generated from life’s experiences, and the quest for a larger truth or bigger understanding. Feel free to watch my Full Moon video for more details

Jupiter and the Sun have just recently moved from Scorpio into Sagittarius, inviting us to emerge from the depths of our darkness into the light, where we discover the meaning and purpose of those difficult passages we have been through, and gain a deeper understanding of ourselves and life.

Ask yourself: What shadow parts (i.e. those fearful, suppressed, or disowned sides of myself) have I learned to face, embrace, and integrate in the past year? How might this process have created more empowerment within me and for the world around me? What have a gained in the past year from those experiences?

We need to bear in mind that everything and everyone is connected — our efforts ripple out, affecting everything (and everyone) around us. So, whatever work we do on ourselves, whatever we manage to integrate, we are not just doing it for ourselves — we are doing it for everyone.

Jupiter (Ruler of Sagittarius), currently in its own sign, is making an opposition to the Moon in Gemini and aligns with the Sun in Sagittarius. This brings a greater awareness of new possibilities and greater realities. These aspects encourage us to engage in a dialogue, brainstorm, and envision new possibilities. We are invited to see the bigger picture and go beyond what we already know.

Questions you can ask yourself for the next two weeks: What do I learn about life every day, just by living it? How does the experience of my current reality inform what I believe about life? Is what I belief about life the truth? What is truth? What’s the difference between “my truth” and “truth”? Can “truth” ever be anything but true? Can it change? If something has the ability to change, is it still the “truth”, or simply “my truth”?

Mercury is the ruler of Gemini; it is currently also in Sagittarius, and retrograde since Nov. 16th. It invites us to rethink some of our beliefs about life. “Seek to understand, then be understood” is truer than ever now: How could you live this out when dealing with others?

Until Dec. 6th, ask yourself: How might my perspectives shift if I listened to my intuitive voice more than my conditioning? What might be possible if I opened up a dialog with others about a “larger” conversation? Might connecting with figures from my past expand my thinking? Who would I want to connect with, if that were so? What conversations do I need to have if I’m to experience an expansion of my thinking/mind?

This Full Moon chart also has a T-square: Mars in Pisces squares the Moon in Gemini and the Jupiter/Sun alignment in Sagittarius. This asks us to stretch and grow by releasing anything that no longer supports our spiritual/mental growth.

Given the empty leg of this T-square lands in Virgo, we are invited to act from a place of clarity and discernment; ask yourself: How might my actions help others achieve more clarity? Could I combine the kindness of the heart-energy with the clarity of mind-energy?

Since Virgo is also associated with health routines, you might also ask yourself “What health routines would support my physical and emotional wellbeing?”

When investigating daily routines, it can be tempting to approach things from “good or bad”, “right or wrong”; instead, try asking yourself: What works? What doesn’t? What do I see when I look at it all through a lens of practical neutrality?

Finally, I would also like to mention the energy of the Neptune station, and Neptune’s square to Mercury. Neptune in Pisces is exalted at the time of the Full Moon, as it is preparing to end its 5-month retrograde phase; this brings our attention to things like “universal love”, our inner divinity, spirituality, inspiration, compassion, etc. We may also feel more sensitive, tired, or confused — and may want to escape reality for a while.

We will address the current Station phases and direct movements in more detail in our next Forecasting Forum (live on Nov. 27th)… That’s not just Neptune, but also Chiron, and Mercury 🙂 If you would like to find out how these Station direct movements might impact you personally, join us!

If you are already a Star or SuperStar Member watch out for an email on the day of the webinar, as well as within 24 hours after the live event, to get links to join live or listen to the mp4-video presentation.

If you are a Universal Member, you can register for this month only; or you could take the plunge and upgrade to Star or Superstar Membership, so you can join us every month at no extra charge!

Neptune’s square to Mercury could create a lack of clarity and objectivity. We may also neglect important details; that said, we are also more imaginative at this time and can truly inspire others. One good tip here might be “don’t believe everything you hear (and if it sounds too good to be true, it might just be that: Too good to be true!)”

We may also feel a pull between introversion and extraversion, or simply between fast and slow. If you feel such a pull, ask yourself: Could I simply tune in for a moment and see if I need to take a break (or at least slow down a little)? Could I be 5% more compassionate and kind to myself?

With so many planets and points in mutable signs, we might feel restless and pulled in many directions; we very well might be kept extra-busy, but could also feel ungrounded or overwhelmed. Ask yourself: Am I feeling overwhelmed? Do I get easily distracted?

If the answer to that is “yes”, as best as you can, center yourself in the here and now. Allow yourself to be present, listen to what’s inside of you (beyond the mind), trust your intuitive Self. Another question you can ask yourself when overwhelmed is “What is the worst that can happen here?” It may sound odd, but that question puts a border around the blurry anxiety that can arise with overwhelm, and that helps your infinite self see that the fear is finite.

Following our inner guidance on a daily basis is going to be very important — as is releasing any victim-based thinking that can drown that inner guidance out. The best way to notice victim mentality is to catch ourselves when we blame others (or “life”) for our current experiences. If you catch yourself doing this, acknowledge it gently and be kind to yourself: we all do it from time to time… it’s human.

To sum it all up for this Full Moon: There are the facts, and then there is our interpretation of what happened: we attribute meanings, generate assumptions and conclusions; these in turn harden into beliefs, and those beliefs create our reality. When we change our interpretation of the facts, we can change our perspective and start creating a different reality; this requires an open mind and an open heart. We also need to remember that everything is always interacting with everything else.

So, what is Universal truth? Wouldn’t it have to be something that is true no matter what? No matter what country I come from? No matter the color of my skin? No matter my sexual orientation? My status in society? My age? My physical appearance?

For the next two weeks, you could ask yourself: Am I ready to let go of what I think is true, just so I can find out for sure? What doesn’t change, no matter when (or how often) I look?

Could I look beyond the mind and tap into the larger field of energy all around me? What nourishes my soul? Could I make time for silence, surrender, and self-reflection? Even if it’s just a few minutes every day?  Feel free to watch my Full Moon video for more details

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 0-3 degrees of Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo, Pisces or 29 degrees of Taurus, ScorpioLeo, or Aquarius? If so, you are more affected by this month’s Full Moon. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo, the Moon rules Cancer)

Saturday (Nov. 24th): the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini all day (see Thursday late evening for details).

Saturday morning feels a little uneasy. We need to develop an inner awareness around our two seemingly opposite pulls: on the one hand, a strong desire for accomplishment, on the other, our need to make connections and exchange information.

We are asked to bring awareness to whatever it is we feel most passionate about: Are we after superficial exchanges? Or intense and authentic emotion? As best as you can, make adjustments as needed, and drop any self-judgment.

Saturday evening, at 8:08pm EST, after a 5.5-month retrograde, Neptune comes to a halt in 13.5 degrees of Pisces and starts to move forward again.

The emotional nature of Neptune feels confusing and overwhelming at times. As Neptune will be moving through Pisces until 2025, our understanding of interconnectedness is going to grow; our collective spiritual and emotional sides will slowly evolve.

We can see how connected we are to our Higher Self/The Universe/Source. What’s more, we have an opportunity to dissolve any barriers between us and our Soul’s guidance. Are we sensing our Soul’s desire for love and oneness to the fullest? Are we connecting to our intuition? Is anything keeping us from experiencing the flow of life?

As Neptune slowly starts to pick up speed again, it will bring our focus back to the outside world. We are now ready to implement the things we have been connecting to internally for the past 5 months. What did you discover about your feelings and your intuition?

Do you have your Ascendent, your Career point or any of your personal planets in 11-16 degrees of Pisces, Gemini, Virgo or Sagittarius? If you do, you may feel the effects of the Neptune station more than others. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Pisces (Neptune rules Pisces): This is a great time to use what you learned in the last 5 months about your connection to Source — and perhaps to allow yourself to connect more fully to the flow of life, and let yourself be inspired — even more than most other people.

Saturday night/Sunday very early morning, at 12:31am EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last a little over an hour, until 1:38am EST. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to connect with others, exchange information, and move personal projects forward.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Saturday night/Sunday very early morning ahead of time.

Sunday (Nov. 25th): the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini and VoC until 1:38am EST; at that time, the Moon moves into protective, nurturing Cancer, where it will journey until next week, Tuesday very early morning. With this Moon placement, we are more sensitive to what people say and therefore our feelings are more easily hurt — so be kind to yourself and others. Self-Care is key for the next two-and-a-half days 😉

Emotional safety is important to us as well; we like connecting to the familiar and we enjoy nurturing ourselves and others — home and family call to us, for instance. Make sure though, that your glass is filled before letting others drink from it, or you might start to feel drained and resentful.

Sunday late morning: we get a chance to connect with others (and ourselves) with gentleness and compassion. Taking actions on creative or spiritual endeavors are favored right now.

Sunday early-mid afternoon: we are invited to make some internal adjustments; we may have a need both for familiar, emotional connections, and for connection with people from other cultures and backgrounds. How might a balanced mental and emotional approach support us right now in managing those internal adjustments?

Also on Sunday, Venus ends her station phase (at 25 degrees of Libra); she resumes her normal pace through the sky. What has come up in the last 6 weeks around relationships, finances, social interactions, and what you want to attract into your life? Now is a good time to move forward.

A heads up for next Monday (Nov. 26th): the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer all day (see Sunday for details). In the very early morning, a Sun/Jupiter alignment in almost 4 degrees of Sagittarius becomes exact at 1:33am EST, we started to feel this aspect build from Nov. 22nd on, it will remain strong until Nov. 29th. Also, in the very early morning, a challenging Mercury/Mars aspect becomes exact at 3:06am EST; we started to feel this aspect build from Nov. 24th on, it will remain strong until Nov. 27th. More about the details in next week’s forecast 🙂

November 12th – 18th

Gentleness is Key — Forecast for Nov. 12th – 18th

This week’s headline items: start taking action on your New Moon intentions on Monday afternoon. On Wednesday, Neptune starts to station, and Mercury’s station intensifies. On Thursday, the first Quarter Moon in Aquarius becomes exact, and Mars changes signs from Aquarius to Pisces. On Friday, Venus comes to a halt in Libra, ending her 6-week Retrograde phase, and Mercury also comes to a halt in Sagittarius, to start its 3-week Retrograde phase. Last but not least, Neptune’s station intensifies on Saturday evening.

There will be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday late morning (for 32 minutes), Thursday late evening (for 43 minutes), and Sunday very early morning (for almost 8 hours)

Before we get to this week’s forecast, I have one quick announcement:
If you haven’t gotten a chance to read my newest two articles about: Jupiter in Sagittarius until Dec.2019, and the Moon Nodes in Cancer/Capricorn until May 2020, please feel free to check them out! As a Member of my online community you have full access to all of my articles.

Now, this week’s Forecast:

Monday (Nov. 12th): the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn all day. It will journey there until Tuesday late morning.

Once you have a handle on where “A” is, it’s easier to “go from A to B” — whether “B” is self-mastery or standing on the mountaintop.

Monday early afternoon, our focus intensifies — we might even get a little obsessed with a project or task — as best as you can, take breaks and don’t forget to practice a little self-care 😉

Monday mid-late afternoon, we have the opportunity to be more aware of meaningful connections that could support our long-term goals.

Also on Monday, If you set intentions last Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday after the New Moon became exact, today will be the best time to take relevant actions. If you wrote your intentions down, go back and take another look at what came through intuitively. If you didn’t write anything down, get quiet for a moment and check in with yourself: What actions are calling to you?

Tuesday (Nov. 13th): the Moon remains in…

practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn, until 10:45am EST (see Monday for details).

Tuesday at 10:13am EST, we enter a brief Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for 32 minutes, until 10:45am EST.

Tuesday at 10:45am EST, the Moon moves into freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius, where it will journey until Thursday late evening. This Moon placement starts the build up towards the first Quarter Moon (exact on Thursday late morning).

With this Moon placement, we often feel emotionally detached; when we do connect to our feelings, it’s typically from a cerebral, intellectual place. We need a cause or project that resonates — preferably one where we can connect with like-minded people.

For the next couple of days, we’ll tend to be more eccentric or experimental; future-related issues like politics or education call to us now, as do unusual or even esoteric subjects like Astrology, UFOs… indeed anything from outer space. Our scientific approach to things leans on originality and ingenuity; we definitely love being unconventional.

The increased value we place on personal and emotional independence could make us come off as indifferent or cold in one-on-one interactions. That said, we can still be friendly and kind, provided we aren’t pushed into doing something conventional or unethical.

Tuesday early afternoon: we have the opportunity to explore something with like-minded people, have an adventure, or do something that excites us.

Wednesday (Nov. 14th): the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius all day (see Tuesday late morning of details).

WednesdayNeptune starts to slow down (and will appear to move more slowly through the sky until Dec. 4th). It is getting ready to go direct again on Nov. 24th, when the 5-month retrograde phase that started on June 18th comes to an end.

A planet’s energies are more exalted during it’s “station period”; this has even more weight for an outer planet, as they move more slowly and their stations last much longer. This Neptune station is particularly strong, since it occurs in Pisces, its own sign.

Neptune represents things like universal love, our inner divinity, spirituality, inspiration, compassion, faith — plus creative and imaginative realms such as music or film — while the shadow side is confusion, illusion and escapism of all kinds. We start to be aware of all those energies more fully in our lives.

This awareness helps us to connect more fully to those energies as they exist within us. We can then see where we need to either embrace them more fully, or connect to them in a healthy way, that doesn’t involve getting lost in the murky lower vibrations of their expression.

Some of us will feel the effects of this station more than others: those of us with a Pisces Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant) — and those of us with personal planets and points in 11-16 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini or Sagittarius.

Neptune is just one of three planets that are either already stationing, or that will start to station soon to go direct (the other two are Chiron & Mercury)!

Where are you ready to move forward in regards to your spiritual ideals, your healing journey, or new perspectives?

To see how all this will affect you personally, join me for my upcoming MONTHLY FORECASTING FORUM, Tuesday, Nov. 27th, 2017 at 10am PST/1pm EST/6pm GMT (London-time). To join for FREE every month, become a Star or SuperStar Member on my site. To register for this month only, click here

Other than booking a reading with me, this is the highest level of support you can get — we relate all this to your personal birth chart — and it’s only $37 for the 90+ minute webinar! join live and/or get an mp4-video presentation of the live event…  To register now, click here

Also on Wednesday, the Mercury station intensifies until Nov. 18th, as Mercury is preparing to come to halt on Friday (starting its 3-week retrograde phase). During this intensified station phase, we feel Mercury’s energies even more strongly.

Pay attention to anything “in your face” in any of the following areas: communications, short travels, transportation of any kind, communication devices. You will get a chance to re-organize yourself once Mercury goes retrograde.

For the next 5 days, we might experience delays or misunderstandings; things could feel “off” or stagnant. It might be a good idea to give yourself some extra time when getting ready to go somewhere — and that goes for the journey itself, too — especially if you intend to drive or use public transportation. Going with the flow is definitely recommended at this time.

Be extra-patient if you intend to buy, sell or ship big-ticket items, especially if they are transportation or communication devices like anything connected with planes, trains, cars, phones, computers, iPads, etc. Best of all (if possible): wait until after Dec. 24th when the shadow phase is over.

Some of us will feel the effects of the Mercury station more than others: those of us who have Gemini or Virgo as our Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant); and those of us with personal planets in 11-15 degrees of Sagittarius, GeminiPisces, or Virgo.

Thursday (Nov. 15th): the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius, until 11:41pm EST (see Tuesday late morning for details).

Thursday early morning, an opportune Mars/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 4:31am EST. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Sunday evening on, it will remain strong until this Sunday evening. We have the opportunity to create some forward movement in our lives, especially in connection to our future visions. We may want to work on projects with like-minded people right now. Flexibility is the key to success at this time; pleasant changes may be in store — certainly unexpected ones 😉

What is one of your unique goals? How could you go after what you want, while still keeping other people’s benefit in mind? As best as you can, watch out for messages from the Universe! Remember: an opportunity is not automatically given to us: We have to “realize” it.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 27-29 degrees of Aquarius, Aries, Gemini, Sagittarius or 0-2 degrees of Pisces, Taurus, Cancer, or Capricorn, ? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Aquarius (Mars is the ruler of Aries; Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius).

Thursday late morning, at 9:54am EST, the first Quarter Moon in 23 degrees of Aquarius becomes exact. We started to feel this aspect from the moment the Moon entered Aquarius Tuesday late morning. The Moon in freedom-loving, progressive, detached, objective Aquarius makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in passionate, all-or-nothing, intimacy-craving Scorpio.

We feel compelled to take action. Last week on Nov. 7th, the New Moon in Scorpio became exact: “Seeds” planted then are probably “sprouting” by now — and making their first real contact with the outside world. This is therefore a time to stretch and grow — and create some forward momentum. We may feel anxious or unusually busy.

As best as you can, go one breath at a time. Allow for changes, remain flexible (as much as possible), and find creative solutions for your day-to-day interactions with others.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 21-25 degrees of Aquarius, Scorpio, Taurus, or Leo? If so, you will feel the effects of this first Quarter Moon more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Thursday late afternoon, Mars changes signs from freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius to creative, sensitive Pisces, where it will journey until Dec 31st. Our physical energy may slow down at this time. Creative and spiritual endeavors are highly favored for the next 6.5 weeks — this especially goes for music. Our passions will be more of a romantic nature, imagination will play a big role when connecting physically with others.

Gentleness is key. The shadow side of this, is that our own aggression may be expressed less directly. Any form of assertiveness is likely to feel selfish or “wrong” on some level. Avoid victim-behavior by connecting to spirit. We feel a deep energetic and spiritual connection to others; charity work and altruism will be favored. Best to go with the flow for the next 6.5 weeks, paying attention to your energy levels.

Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Pisces? If so, you will feel energized by this placement. Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries? If so, you may feel the change of pace more strongly. Your physical energy may not be what it usually is. As best as you can, make the necessary adjustments.

Thursday at 10:58pm EST, we enter a brief Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for 43 minutes, until 11:41pm EST. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to connect with others, exchange information, and move personal projects forward.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Thursday late evening ahead of time.

Thursday at 11:41pm EST, the Moon moves into creative, sensitive Pisces, where it will journey until Sunday late morning. This Moon placement often finds us more sensitive, intuitive, idealistic and imaginative than normal. We also have a greater capacity for compassion, sympathy and affection for all — but especially for those who suffer or can be regarded as the underdog.

Friday (Nov. 16th): the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day (see Thursday late evening for details).

Friday morning, at 5:51am EST, Venus comes to a halt at 25 degrees of Libra — turning direct after having been retrograde since Oct. 5th. Whether by Sun-sign or Ascendent, Taurus and Libra people will feel a sense of relief as Venus starts speeding up again (Venus will still be moving slower until Nov. 25th), helping us integrate the realizations of the past six weeks. This will lead to a greater sense of alignment between our inner values and outer experience around relationships and finance.

The period immediately before and after a planet’s retrograde phase is referred to as the “shadow phase”; at these times, the planet travels once more through the degrees of a sign that it had already passed through before and during its Retrograde phase. Venus is usually in its shadow for about four weeks prior to a retrograde, and for almost five weeks after.

In this case, Venus will be in her shadow phase until Dec. 17th; this is territory she already visited in October/November. Come Dec. 17th, she will reach 11 degrees of Scorpio, finally going beyond where she has been before.

Between now and Dec. 17th, we have a chance to go over all that we have learned internally in the past 6 weeks, and then apply it to our external reality. This is a chance to address anything that we have reassessed around our values, our relationships (including the relationship we have with ourselves, and our environment), and our gifts and talents.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 23-27 degrees of Libra, Aries, Cancer or Capricorn? Do you have your Sun-sign or Rising-sign in Libra or Taurus? If so, you will be more affected by this shadow phase over the next 4 weeks.

Friday late evening, at 8:33pm EST, Mercury comes to a still stand at 13.5 degrees of Sagittarius (starting its 3-week retrograde phase), slowing things down tremendously from Thursday until Saturday night. Give yourself extra time to go to work this morning or to get things done. If you are traveling today, just simply go with the flow… you’ll get there… eventually 😉 The same is true when it comes to all our technological devices…

This retrograde phase will last until Dec. 6th. People worry about Mercury retrogrades, but it’s important not to stop one’s life during these times. As mentioned above, certain things may take longer — but a retrograde gives us a chance to resolve things that have been keeping us from living our vision — especially things that came up within the past three weeks.

Take time to investigate your own thought processes: What feels too busy to you? What if you got really clear about that?

For the next three weeks, we get a chance to explore our sense of adventure and ability to expand mentally & spiritually, connecting from within to see where we need to gain a new perspective. We may even get to reorganize our beliefs about life — especially our faith in the human spirit.

It’s also a chance to readdress anything connected to travel or higher learning; this too is a process that begins internally and works its way out. It provides a chance to honor and communicate our sense of worth. It’s time to rethink, retool and release what no longer works.

As always: with a Mercury Retrograde phase, always read the small print — and re-read a contract before signing (if you have to sign something) — or ask another person for a second opinion… Basically, during these periods, it’s best to be aware of any details that we might have overlooked… and check in with our intuition… and stay open to the possibility of renegotiation or adjustments, down the line!

In general, Mercury Retrograde is a great time for re-evaluating and re-organizing. This is especially true for our thought patterns and decisions (particularly those made in the 3 weeks prior to the start of the retrograde) — but it’s true of our lives in general: we can reach a clearer understanding as to what works, and what doesn’t, and what needs to change.

Reconnecting with old friends, clients and family members (especially siblings) is also favored at this time …

Mercury also represents our day-to-day mind; this too is experienced more internally at this time. When it comes to communication, make sure that what you say, write and hear is the same as the intended meaning — and use the spell-checker 😉

Another thing to take into consideration: how does each Mercury retrograde phase affect your personal birth chart. Do you have any personal planets that Mercury will align with during its retrograde journey? The houses of your chart each represent different areas of your life — which of the houses in your chart is affected by this retrograde?

As with any retrograde, some of us will be more affected than others, depending on how it interacts with our personal chart. If you have your Ascendant, Career Point or any personal planets in 11-16 degrees of Sagittarius, GeminiPisces, or Virgo you will be more affected by this particular retrograde. This is also true for those of us who have a Gemini, or Virgo Sun- or Rising-sign (Mercury rules Gemini and Virgo).

Saturday (Nov. 17th): the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day (see Thursday late evening for details).

Saturday very early morning: if we are awake during this time, we’ll likely feel more sensitive, and need to slow down a little. This is a great time for spiritual or creative endeavors. Energy work (or anything that requires our intuitive side) will work best for the next several hours. You may also consider meditating when you get up (and if that’s not your thing right now, you could also consider sleeping in 🙂

Saturday afternoon: we have an opportunity to be guided by inspiration, and feel empowered about a project or task that might serve us long-term. Ask yourself: What might be possible if I heeded the subtle messages in my heart that stir me toward success?

Also on SaturdayNeptune’s station intensifies — and will appear to move even more slowly through the sky until Dec. 1st. It is getting ready to come to a halt and ends it’s 5-month retrograde phase on Nov. 24th

A planet’s energies are more exalted during its “station period”; this has even more weight for an outer planet, as they move more slowly and their stations last much longer. This Neptune station is particularly strong, since it occurs in Pisces, its own sign; for more details, see Wednesday’s entry about the Neptune station.

Again, if you want to know how the Neptune Station (and direct motion) impacts you personally, feel free to join us for our next Forecasting Forum on Tuesday, Nov. 27th, 2017 at 10am PST/1pm EST/6pm GMT (London-time) — we will apply what’s coming up to our own birth charts; to join for FREE every month, become a Star or SuperStar Member on my site. To register for this month only, click here

Some of us will feel the effects of this station more than others: those of us with a Pisces Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant) — and those of us with personal planets and points in 11-16 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini or Sagittarius.

Sunday (Nov. 18th): the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces, until 10:56am EST (see Thursday late evening for details).

Sunday at 3:04am EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for almost 8 hours, until 10:56am EST.  Use this intuitive time to enjoy a nice feeling of emotional ease, coupled with an ability to trust and connect deeply with others; as best as you can, allow whatever comes up to be beneficial for you.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Sunday very early morning until the late morning ahead of time.

Sunday morning has lots of potential for emotional healing around family, the “mother archetype”, home, and our past in general. We may feel more sensitive and insecure about our feelings; this gives us the opportunity to give ourselves some compassion, acceptance and nurturing in the face of our sensitivities and limitations.

Sunday at 10:56am EST, the Moon enters pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey until Tuesday evening (Nov. 20th).

Sunday afternoon we have an urge to explore something new that helps us understand the bigger picture all around. As best as you can, keep an open mind and look for opportunities, even if you are not expecting any.

Sunday late evening: we are invited to make adjustments and find creative solutions to reconcile personal desires and needs with long-term goals and plans. As best as you can, put solid foundations under any long-term goals currently underway, while still taking care of your own needs. Flexibility and adaptability are key if we are to move forward with plans and projects…

A heads up for next Monday (Nov. 19th): the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day (see Sunday late morning for details). The Moon in Aries trines Mercury in Sagittarius at 11:26am EST. Monday evening, a challenging Mars/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 8:30pm EST; we started to feel this aspect build from Nov. 10th on, it will remain strong until Nov. 26th. And, in the late evening, the Moon in Aries square Pluto in Capricorn, exact at 11:22pm EST. More about the details in next week’s forecast 🙂

One More Announcement:

Join me for my next FORECASTING FORUM Tuesday, Nov. 27th at 10am PST/1pm EST/6pm GMT (London-time). Please note that we’ll talk about three Station-direct phases: Neptune in 13.5º Pisces, Chiron in 28º Pisces, and Mercury in 27-29º Scorpio.

November 5th – 11th

Acceptance of Life, in All its Forms — Forecast Nov. 5th – 11th

This week’s headline items:  On Tuesday, Uranus reenters Aries and the Moon Nodes shift from Leo/Aquarius to Cancer/Capricorn. The New Moon in Scorpio becomes exact on Wednesday and the following day, Jupiter changes signs from Scorpio to Sagittarius. The Venus Station phase intensifies on Friday night, while on Saturday, Mercury starts to station, preparing for its retrograde phase. On Sunday, the Sun squares the degree of Aug.11th’s Leo Solar Eclipse and Mars conjuncts the Solar Eclipse degree from the Feb.15th’s Aquarian Eclipse.

There will be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday very early morning (for almost 5 hours), Thursday morning (for a little over 8 hours), and Saturday late evening (for 20 minutes)

Before we get to this week’s forecast, I have one quick announcement:
Since we have several major planetary shifts happening this week, I encourage you to get the webinar about Jupiter in Sagittarius & the Moon Nodes in Cancer/Capricorn until May 2020 — we talk about these transits in relationship to your own Birth Chart… To purchase this webinar, click here.  Before you invest in the whole 110 min. webinar, feel free to watch a 20-min excerpt here.

Now, this week’s Forecast:

Monday (Nov. 5th): the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra all day. It will journey there until Tuesday morning. The energy of the Libra Moon helps us be naturally courteous and diplomatic; we are more polite at this time, as we seek the approval of others.

We very much want to maintain equal, fair relationships at this time, and are therefore open to making compromises and negotiating. The day is a great time for mediation — but our need for peace and accompanying aversion to direct conflict could pull us to “yes” more easily than we might like.

We may also be able see both sides of the equation so well that we can’t make decisions. As best as you can, find an inner balance with this and communicate what needs to be said with grace and charm — even if it’s “No” 😉 One last quick note: this is also a great time for anything to do with visual arts.

Monday very early morning: we are invited to make some internal adjustments. We may want to connect with others, but may also need to tune in to our intuitive inner voice. What do you hear when you get really quiet?

Monday early afternoon, we may need to make some adjustments and find creative ways to work with the energies at play: On the one hand we need to collaborate with others and play nice, on the other hand, we feel a deep desire to be authentic and truthful about what we want to build long-term.

Monday late evening feels quite harmonious, even given our urge to make progress and connect with like-minded people about our vision — we are definitely feeling social, and want to find commonalities.

Monday night/Tuesday very early morning, a harmonious Sun/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 1:40am EST. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Friday evening (Nov. 2nd) on, it will remain strong until this Thursday evening. This aspect could be tremendously supportive when it comes to dissolving what no longer serves us.

Our intuition, imagination, and inspiration all seem to be “zeroed in”. We go beyond “tolerance”, to lovingly embrace differences in others, and give where it’s needed with open hearts and hands. All of this also feeds in to any creative and spiritual endeavors that start around this time.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career point (or one or more personal planets) in…

…10-17 degrees of Scorpio, Pisces or Cancer? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Pisces (the Sun rules Leo; Neptune is the ruler of Pisces).

Tuesday (Nov. 6th): the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra, until 8:02am EST (see Monday for details).

Tuesday at 3:19am EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for almost 5 hours, until 8:02am EST. Use this intuitive time to connect with others and collaborate; look for relationships that nurture you, with people that share your values.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Tuesday very early morning until the morning ahead of time.

Tuesday at 8:02am EST, the Moon moves into passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, where it will journey until Thursday afternoon. This Moon phase brings us closer to the New Moon (exact Wednesday late morning).

On Tuesday afternoon at 1:09pm EST, the Moon Nodes switch from Leo/Aquarius to Cancer/Capricorn; they will remain in those signs until May 2020! The last time the Moon Nodes were in these particular signs was back in April, 2000 — October, 2001.

The Moon Nodes show us what our Soul’s Journey currently requires on an individual and collective level — to take a closer look at what this means, click here to read my article on the subject!

Tuesday afternoon, at 2:00pm EST, Uranus re-enters Aries (due to its current Retrograde phase); and it will remain in Aries until March 5th, 2019. This invites us to complete any issues around personal freedom and a unique and courageous approach of our personal goals.

Uranus was in Aries from May 2010 until May of this year (with the exception of Nov. 2010 until March 2011); it now retraces the degrees of Aries it visited between between April 20th and May 15th, 2018. Think back to that time, and ask yourself: What was my relationship to personal freedom back then? How about to “courage”? What shifts did we try to accomplish at the collective level? What is something that needs to be revisited when it comes to my personal goals? To my desire to make a difference? To my desire to express my unique Self?

Uranus is a symbol of the desire for freedom, equality, and progress. Uranus in Aries asks us to break away from whatever keeps us from stepping up our game. Shifts are happening everywhere, so it’s time to develop some courage and awareness: Where do you want to step up? If you made a big leap, where might you land?

Uranus in Aries exhorts us to be bold, think for ourselves, and not be dependent on external approval. Ask yourself: Am I expressing my individuality to the fullest? Am I connecting to a bolder vision for my future? Is anything holding me back?

If we insist on holding onto a job, relationship, or situation we have outgrown, an unexpected turn of events may force us to go in a new direction. One thing to remember: Keeping the heart and mind open could make a big difference to the experience of this transit.

As best as you can, be brave enough to step out… This is also a great time to work with your own astrological chart, or seek other ways to elevate your consciousness, create your own reality and experience freedom from within. Ask yourself: Where do I feel the desire to break free? Where have I denied myself permission to be free? Unique? Simply “myself”?

With this much erratic energy moving through our bodies, we are best off staying in movement and “shaking it out”. Flexibility, Courage, Self-Empowerment: these are the watchwords! Remember: what you do for you, you do for everyone… and what you do for everyone, you do for you!

Think back over those last 8 years while Uranus was in Aries and ask yourself: What have I learned about my relationship to my physical body? Where have I been able to break free from traditions that no longer supported my individual self-expression? What have I learned about the courage I have? About my truly unique contribution?

Am I more in touch with my own individuality now, versus back then in 2010? What do I know about my individuation process that I didn’t know before then? What activities have come up around having more personal freedom? What does “unique” or “progressive” leadership look like to me? In what ways do I embody this already? What steps can I take to embody it more fully?

Those of us who have their Ascendent (or personal planets) in 27-29 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn  or 0-2 degrees of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo or Aquarius  will feel the impact of this pass into Aries more than others. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aquarius (Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius).

Tuesday is also, the last day before the New Moon becomes exact…This is a great day to let go of what no longer serves us. As best as you can, avoid jumping the gun: Rather than launching into brand-new endeavors or connections, wait until a couple of days has passed after the New Moon.

Some of us might feel a little anxious or nervous today: As best as you can, get quiet and go within… Listen to the silence between the sounds… Find peace in the connection with your innermost and truest Self.

Wednesday (Nov. 7th): the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, all day (see Tuesday morning for details).

Wednesday late morning, at 11:02am EST: the Moon aligns with the Sun in 15 degrees of Scorpio, beginning a new Moon cycle. This New Moon in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio brings our focus to our intimate relationships and deepest emotional desires; if you’d like to learn more about this Lunation, check out my video on the subject 🙂

In Astrology, 29º positions are referred to as “exalted” — and we have several in this New Moon chart — this signals lots of shifts and changes for the next 28 days. As best as you can, stay centered in the here and now, while also getting ready for the new. Pay particular attention to anything that might signify a turning point in your life.

Scorpio is the second water sign of the zodiac, so it relates not only to the depths of our own psyche, but also to the ecstasies and traumas of relationships. With Jupiter in the last degree of Scorpio at the time of this New Moon, we are powerfully reminded to complete the process of facing our fears, embracing our “Shadow”, and thereby reclaiming our inner power.

The “Shadow” is all the suppressed, denied or undeveloped qualities of our personality — and where we have yet to fully integrate these disowned aspects, we feel disempowered and are left vulnerable to manipulation or domination; furthermore, what we reject in ourselves, we either project onto others — we may experience the shadow as explosions with others or implosions within ourselves. That which we disown, owns us; whatever we resist, persists.

Here are some questions to help you reclaim your projections: Who really bothers me “out there” in the world? Who do I love to hate? What specifically bothers me about them? How do those characteristics relate to me? If I were able to turn down the volume on those characteristics — or turn up the volume — what might a healthy expression of this energy feel like?

Who do I admire and why? What scares me most about myself? What reoccurring, uncomfortable, or scary dreams (or daydreams) do I have? What do I love to joke about that feels just a little uncomfortable? Noticing our own desires, fears, or sense of humor is important, because the shadow also makes itself visible through those…

You may want to journal on those questions for the next 28 days 🙂

The spiritual task of Scorpio is to learn to let go of whatever is dead or toxic in our lives. Often, this is connected to past traumas — once again, fears based either on “what was”, or on a possible future in which we would not be ok — all this can be scary and stir up the desire for control. The survival brain thinks that control gives us power, certainty, stability… but it’s all an illusion based in fear.

Remember: “Fear” is resistance to life, whereas “Love” is acceptance of life, in all its forms. Ask yourself: Is my thinking and feeling based on what’s actually here now, or is it connected to my history or to possible future scenarios? Take a moment to set aside memory, then set aside imaginary futures and concepts… When you set memory and concepts aside, what is true for you right here, right now? Really look…

The key is to realize that “letting go” is not about loss, but about transformation — and ultimately, about feeling empowered, since every ending is also a new beginning.

Trust also plays a big part with Scorpio, just as it does in our intimate relationships and authentic connections; trust is something that develops over time, and this process can take a little longer for those of us have who experienced trauma, whether it comes to developing trust in ourselves or with others.

The New Moon’s trine to Neptune in Pisces places a feminine emphasis on the flow of compassion and psychic/intuitive sensing — and with it, a desire for emotional fulfillment and empowerment within our relationships.

Neptune will help us raise our vibrations, if we choose to do so; it does this in part because it eases the embracing and transformation of our shadow — we get a chance to bring awareness, light and acceptance to any places in us that have been “closed to the public”, neglected, or ignored. This gives us an opportunity to tap more fully into our intuitive “body” and release old survival-based patterns.

Historically, Mars was considered to be the astrological ruler of Scorpio, but upon its discovery in the 1930’s, Pluto took that title and is thus known as the “modern” ruler of Scorpio.

Pluto is now journeying through Capricorn, where it sextiles the New Moon; this is an opportunity to notice how obsessed we’ve become about manifesting something real, and to let go of fears connected to our long-term goals. This transit supports our moving from survival mode to a passionate engagement with life and the society we belong to. Surprisingly perhaps, empowering others is key!

Ask yourself: Is it at least possible that a trusting, emotional connection with others might bring more authentic and passionate engagement to what I’m building for the long-term? What action can I take to empower myself and others? What roles do self-responsibility, realistic self-assessment, and healthy boundaries play in all of this? What might transform if I focused 5% more on what I actually have control over?

As mentioned above, Mars is the traditional ruler of Scorpio; it is currently moving through Aquarius. It will not only be in a mutual reception to Uranus in Aries (i.e., they are in each other signs and support each others agenda), but will also make a sextile to Uranus, and a trine to Venus in Libra (Venus is still retrograde, but is stationing at the time of the New Moon, and therefore exalted).

These aspects provide an opportunity to bring a common vision and a more human approach to our interactions with others.

For the next 28 days, ask yourself: What actions call to me today? How might those actions bring about a better future for myself and others? Could I go after what I want right now and keep other people’s benefit in mind? What collaborations are being revisited and are waiting to move forward? What needs to be addressed within me before this can happen?

This New Moon also points to several other energy patterns:

The first is Jupiter in the last degree of Scorpio, making a quincunx to Uranus, who retrograded back into in Aries only 21 hours before the New Moon became exact — you might want to read more about this aspect in Thursday’s entry, when it becomes exact that morning. As mentioned above, when a planet is in the last degree of a sign its energy is more exalted, as a shift is coming — you could say that the rumbling of its vibration gets louder.

What might this mean? Well, an unexpected turn of events could leave us uneasy or unsettled — one of my favorite sayings comes to mind: “Correct and continue”…

We might detect nervous or anxious energies moving through us for the next serval weeks, so the best thing will be for all of us to stay as grounded as possible and keep breathing! Remember: the future we are creating can only be fulfilling to the extent we can embrace the present.

Jupiter moves into its own sign, Sagittarius, only 20.5 hours after the New Moon becomes exact (more on that tomorrow). The planet is starting a journey through this optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking sign that will continue until Dec. 2019. These next 28 days will be ripe with shifts and changes, so it’s even more important to stay centered in the here and now, expect the unexpected, and allow yourself to make an inner shift that will pave the way for an outer shift. Flexibility is key!

We went over this upcoming shift in more detail in the last Forecasting Forum; if you want more insight into how Jupiter’s journey through Sagittarius until 2019 will impact you personally, I recommend you get the 110 min. long webinar on the subject — for more info or to purchase, click here. The fee for this is only $37, even though the webinar is 20 minutes longer than my usual webinars, partly because we also cover the shift of the Moon Nodes into Cancer/Capricorn (this will affect us right up to the year 2020).

If you’d like to try a “sample” before you purchase, check out this 20-min. excerpt of this webinar. Enjoy 😉

If you are already a Star or SuperStar Member check your email for the webinar link — it was emailed to you on Oct. 24th (for some, it may have shown up early on the 25th 😉

Think back over the last year (i.e. Oct. 2017 – Nov. 2018), while Jupiter was in Scorpio, and ask yourself: Where did I gain a new perspective on promoting a deeper connection to myself? What journey deepened my gaze into my psyche? Did this one-year transit through Scorpio transform some of my beliefs or fears? What needs to end now for a renewed empowerment and passion to emerge?

If you have your Birth Chart and can interpret it, look to see what Houses are connected to the Scorpio energy — and if that sounds like I’m talking a foreign language, feel free to watch my video: How to Read Your Birth Chart — or join our next Forecasting Forum on Nov. 27th at 1pm EST, and ask me your questions there.

We will cover the Neptune, Chiron, and Mercury station-direct phases that start in late November/early December — those will be connected to Pisces and Scorpio in your chart — I will definitely explain this in great detail in the Forum 😉

The second of those energy patterns is a beautiful Grand Trine in Water, involving Jupiter in 29º of Scorpio, the North Node in 29º of Cancer, and Chiron in 28º of Pisces.

This Grand Trine makes it easier for us to experience some healing around our wounded inner child and any traumas from our past. We are quite able to receive the support we need to get to the bottom of our survival patterns.

Ask yourself: What might be possible in this next cycle of my life if I simply remained curious and explored any sensations or thoughts that arise? Could I acknowledge what comes up without needing to analyze or understand it? Could I give myself permission to tap into the spaciousness all around me, as I continue to breathe slowly and deeply, perhaps even while feeling my fears (or any other feeling, for that matter)?

Seeking help from trusted support systems or healers during this time is highly recommended if we are truly to heal our insecurities and inner disconnections. For the next 28 days, ask yourself: What if I listened 5% more to my innermost Self (the subtle, intuitive me)? What might I learn if I focused 5% more on Self-care? This could be nurturing myself, treating myself with respect, understanding and love, embracing my limitations with kindness, as I would do for a dear friend, and so on… How might others benefit from that too?

Again, I also recommend you watch my “Jupiter in Sagittarius, Moon Nodes in Cancer/Capricorn” webinar for more insight about the shifts of the Moon Nodes — catch a 20-minute except here, or purchase the entire webinar here.

To sum it all up: This New Moon in Scorpio invites us to contemplate the blessings of facing our fears and the beauty of letting go. Let yourself integrate all of who you are, even those parts that are connected to past trauma and pain; as best as you can, allow those parts to feel safe and loved — there is nothing to defend or protect. We are most connected to our inner power and passion for life when we don’t reject any parts of ourselves — not even the parts we think are ugly, ridiculous, or shameful!

Some last questions: as best as you can, could you acknowledge any self-resistance? Resistance toward others? To life itself? And, just for right now, could you simply let go of wanting to resist what is? Could you set all inner tension free, as best you can — and just for right now — just as an experiment in freedom?

Flexibility and open-mindedness will definitely help for the next 28 days. Embracing our humanity and practicing self-compassion, especially around our inner processes and limitations,  provides an opportunity for healing.

If you’d like to learn more about this Lunation, check out my video on the subject 🙂

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 13-17 degrees of Scorpio, Taurus, Leo or Aquarius? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle. Intentions are best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact — and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase. So this month, the best time to set intentions would be any time between 11:02am (on Wednesday, Nov. 7th) and 5:42am Thursday morning (Nov. 8th); then again from 1:59pm (on Nov. 8th) until 11am (on Nov. 9th) — New York Time/US Eastern Time

If you live in a timezone other then EST (US East Coast-time), feel free to join my Facebook Fanpage or follow me on twitter. I will be posting reminders on Wednesday after 11am EST, Thursday after 2pm EST and Friday before 11am EST, to let you know when it is time to set your intentions.

Thursday (Nov. 8th): the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio until 1:59pm EST (see Tuesday morning for details).

Thursday very early morning, a somewhat challenging Jupiter/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 1:20am EST. We started to feel this aspect build from last week Saturday evening (Nov. 3rd) on, it will remain strong until next week, Monday evening (Nov. 12th). This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward — and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed in order to see what needs adjusting.

We might find it difficult to reach agreements — or even find common ground with others. This could result in an uneasiness: We need to make changes, but don’t necessarily know what, how or when. There could also be bursts of rebelliousness if we are not in touch with ourselves. We might want to avoid making dramatic changes until we get clearer about what we want — awareness is key with this aspect: What is needed? How can we serve the broader view?

Ask yourself: What if I allowed myself to feel the fear while staying connected to the vision? Might an inner awareness of those two energies help me get more comfortable with being uncomfortable? Where do I need to go deeper if I am to create the change I desire? What requires my conscious awareness and acknowledgment before I am ready to step onto my chosen path?

What if all is well, all the the time, even when there is discomfort and uncertainty? Even when that lasts longer than I expected? If I let myself be really flexible, how flexible could I let myself be? What might taking a deep breath do for me right now?

Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 28-29 degrees of Scorpio, Aries or 0-1 degrees of Sagittarius or Taurus? Or, given that Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius while Jupiter rules Sagittarius, your Ascendant or Sun-sign is in Sagittarius or Aquarius? If either is true for you, you’ll likely feel this aspect more strongly than others.

Thursday at 5:42am EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for a little over 8 hours, until 1:59pm EST. Use this intuitive time to make some adjustments in your life. As best as you can, find creative solutions to seemingly unsolvable situations. Make space to both pursue your vision and dreams with like minded people and to connect more deeply and intimately with others on a more emotional level.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Thursday early morning until the early afternoon ahead of time.

On Thursday, Nov. 8th, at 7:38am EST, Jupiter moves from passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio into adventurous, enthusiastic Sagittarius, where it will journey until Dec. 2nd, 2019. Jupiter moves through a 12-year cycle, so the last time it traveled through its own sign was between November, 2006 and December, 2007 — and the time before that was between December, 1994 and January, 1996.

Think back to those periods… what possibilities or opportunities arose for you? In what ways did you grow or expand? What felt like a birth or a new beginning back then? How could you take all of that to the next level?

Jupiter represents our desire to seek insight through knowledge. Some of this planet’s keywords: morality, gratitude, hope, honor, the law. Jupiter is the planet of possibility, optimism, and growth (including mental and spiritual growth). Jupiter is also associated with a sense of humor, goodwill, and mercy.

The lower expressions of Jupiter include “Oh, the heck with it”, “I deserve this and more”, “the rules do not apply to me” — generally speaking, too much of a good thing, blind optimism, excess, stretching the truth, overindulgence, and so forth.

In the natal chart, the position of Jupiter reveals how we express generosity and tolerance; it also shows how we go about trusting others and improving our lives. Where do we look for wisdom and understanding?

Jupiter represents the principle of expansion; in Scorpio it held a magnifying glass over authentic, emotional commitments or connections and thereby changed our perspective on our subconscious drives and fears, those suppressed or denied parts of ourselves.

Since Scorpio was all about feeling more fully and authentically connected to all parts of ourselves (and thereby feeling empowered), everything in the human unconscious was lit up — we got to see the darker side of things, our survival strategies — and our deepest, darkest desires.

With Jupiter in Sagittarius, that magnifying glass now swings over to seeking the truth, we are invited to look for the bigger picture and grow on a mental and spiritual level, so we can experience more freedom from our survival instincts and instead undergo mental expansion. Where has surviving kept you small? Where has that survival goal become an obstacle?

Jupiter promotes a greater understanding of all of our potential to overcome our darker human nature and develop our ability (or show us our inability) to have faith in our higher Selves, our divinity.

We definitely attract the most good fortune when we are open-handed and generous, tolerant, and are practicing what we preach. We might be more inspirational and find travel, education, teaching, sports, publishing, and foreign cultures especially rewarding.

For the next 13 months, we tend to be more philosophical, forward-looking, and enthusiastic. We strongly value freedom of movement, and truth — but we need to be watch out that we don’t become moralistic with others. To the read the whole article, click here; or if you want to know how this planetary movement is impacting you personally, feel free to purchase our latest webinar — we applied the Jupiter movement to our own birth charts! Click here to purchase. Star and Super Star Members: please check your emails — I sent out the mp4-video presentation on Oct.24th/25th.

Thursday at 1:59pm EST, the Moon moves into optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, where it will journey until Saturday late evening.

Also, Thursday after 2pm EST: If you haven’t gotten around to it yet, set your Intentions for this Moon cycle… If possible, align them with the New Moon energies that I spoke about in my video — feel free to watch it again if you are not sure anymore — click here to watch my video on the New Moon 😉

For more details on how to set New Moon Intentions, click here

Friday (Nov. 9th): the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day (see Thursday afternoon for details).

Friday late morning, a harmonious Venus/Mars aspect becomes exact at 10:12am EST. We started to feel this aspect build from this Tuesday evening on, it will remain strong until next week, Monday evening (Nov. 12th). We tend to feel passionate, super-creative, and just plain energized at this time — we have tons of vitality and warmth.

This helps us bring people together for mutual pleasure and benefit — we find it easy during this time to get along with both sexes. There is also a feeling of flow around a common vision for life… If you knew you could connect with others and it would be easy, what would you pick to do?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 22-29 degrees of Libra, Aquarius, or Gemini. If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Aries (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Mars rules Aries)

Also, Friday before 11am EST: If you haven’t gotten around to it yet, set your Intentions for this Moon cycle… If possible, align them with the New Moon energies that I spoke about in my video — feel free to watch it again if you are not sure anymore — click here to watch my video on the New Moon 😉

For more details on how to set New Moon Intentions, click here

Friday late afternoon, we may need to make some adjustments. As best you can, honor both your need for adventure and exploration of life and your need to go within. You may feel a pull between introvert and extrovert, or simply fast and slow. Tune in for a moment and see if you need to take a break or at least slow down a little. As best as you can, be compassionate and kind with yourself.

Saturday (Nov. 10th): the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, until 10:55pm EST (see Thursday afternoon for details).

Friday night/Saturday very early morning, the Venus Station intensifies until Nov. 21stas the planet slows down further. Venus is preparing to come to halt next week Friday, Nov. 16th (ending her 6-week retrograde phase). During this intensified station, we feel Venus’s energies even more strongly.

For the next 11 days, pay close attention to anything “in your face” around what you do and don’t have. We are now more aware of our relationships or the lack thereof. This forces us to look at who we value (including ourselves), and at what is truly important to us on a Soul-level. It’s important to pay attention now — when Venus goes direct again (Nov.16th), we’ll get a chance to address and resolve all these issues.

Things could feel “off” or stagnant in our one-on-one relationships, so it might be a good idea to cut yourself and others some slack for the time being; going with the flow is definitely recommended too, especially since Mercury will also be stationing (see below 😉

Some of us will feel the effects of the Venus station more than others: those of us who have Taurus or Libra as our Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant); and those of us with personal planets in 23-27 degrees of Libra, Aries, Cancer or Capricorn.

Saturday at 10:35pm EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for 20 minutes, until 10:55pm EST. Use this intuitive time to connect with like-minded people and to learn something new about your unique self — explore, take a risk.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Saturday late evening ahead of time.

Saturday at 10:55pm EST, the Moon moves into practical, accomplishment-oriented  Capricorn, where it will journey until Tuesday late morning.

Once you have a handle on where “A” is, it’s easier to “go from A to B” — whether “B” is self-mastery or standing on the mountaintop.

Saturday around 11:55pm EST, when it reaches 18º and 42 minutes of Scorpio, the Sun squares the degree of Aug.11th’s Leo Eclipse; this could signify a turning point in how we connect to our inner joy and creative self-expression.

Ask yourself: What am I aware of right now that would bring about a shift towards greater joy if I really took it in? What (or who) might bring about this shift? What might gratitude do?

Also on SaturdayMercury starts to slow down (“station”) in 11-14º of Sagittarius, preparing to come to a halt next week, Friday, Nov.16th (when it will begin its 3-week retrograde phase). More on that next week… This station will last until Nov. 20th, and during this time, we will feel Mercury’s energies more strongly.

For the next 10 days, we need to be patient with ourselves and others — especially if there is a connection with communication or transportation, and their associated technologies. This is not the best time to start anything brand-new, especially if it contains new information that needs to be processed.

We might experience delays or misunderstandings, and things tend to feel “off” or stagnant. It might be a good idea to give yourself some extra time to get ready, or travel somewhere — especially if you intend to use public transportation or drive (For more details on Mercury Shadow Phases and Retrogrades, click here)

Be extra-patient if you intend to buy, sell or ship big-ticket items, especially if they are transportation or communication devices like anything connected with planes, trains, cars, phones, computers, iPads, etc. Best of all (if possible): wait until after Dec. 24th, when the shadow phase is over.

Some of us will feel the effects of the Mercury station more than others: those of us who have Gemini or Virgo as our Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant); and those of us with personal planets in 11-14 degrees of Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo, or Pisces.

Sunday (Nov. 11th): the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn all day (see Saturday late evening for details).

Sunday very early morning, around 12:50am EST, when it reaches 27º and 8 minutes of Aquarius, Mars aligns with the degree of Feb.15th’s Solar Eclipse. We are being reminded to stay detached in our social dealing with others and honor our own individuality without making anyone else wrong for being different.

Ask yourself: What have I been able to redefine since February in that regard? How could I honor my own dreams and views about the future, while also allowing others theirs, and respecting their choices? Are other people’s choices really about me? Could I give their “choosing” the space that it needs, so I can honor what’s important to me, without taking things personally?

Sunday late morning, an opportune Sun/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 10:22am EST. We started to feel this aspect build from this Friday morning (Nov. 9th) on, it will remain strong until next week, Tuesday evening (Nov. 13th). This is an opportunity to bring a deeper emotional connection to whatever needs restructuring or rebuilding.

It’s also an opportunity to notice how obsessed we’ve become about manifesting something real — and to let go of fears connected to our long-term goals. Remember: an opportunity is not automatically given to us; we have to make something of it.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 17-21 degrees of Scorpio, Capricorn, Pisces or Virgo? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Scorpio (the Sun rules Leo; Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio).

A heads up for next Monday (Nov. 12th): the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn all day (see Saturday late evening – Nov.10th for details). The Moon in Capricorn sextiles Neptune in Pisces, exact at 2:01am EST, it conjuncts Pluto in Capricorn exact at 12:57pm EST, and it also sextiles the Sun in Scorpio exact at 3:21pm EST. At 3:21pm EST, it is also time to start taking action on our New Moon intentions – that we set on Nov. 7th, 8th or 9th. More about the details in next week’s forecast 🙂

Moon Nodes in Cancer/Capricorn

On Nov. 6th in the afternoon, the Moon Nodes switched from Leo/Aquarius to Cancer/Capricorn; they will remain in those signs until May 2020! The last time the Moon Nodes were in these particular signs was back in April, 2000 — October, 2001.

The Moon Nodes show us what our Soul’s Journey currently requires on the collective and personal levels — let’s take a closer look at what this means:

The goal of the collective Soul’s journey is to balance and integrate two apparently opposite energies: our inner experience (symbolized by Cancer), and our outer obligations or goals (Capricorn). This will take looking closely at the balance between taking care of ourselves, versus taking care of others — and also at who we are inside, versus what we project to the world, how we portray ourselves.

This is also about developing healthy foundations, emotionally and materially, in private and in public. As best as you can, avoid “should-ing” on yourself: Take the pressure off, perhaps by saying “I’m doing the best I can and that’s all I can ever do”)  😉

To get a more personal interpretation, we also need to take a look at the House placement of that Cancer/Capricorn polarity in our own birth charts, as well as the signs involved… we cover the houses in the webinar (I will include a link at the end of this article).

In Cancer, the North Node invites us to let ourselves be…

… vulnerable, get more in touch with our personal needs and nurture ourselves, and make time for home and family.

Success will now come easier if we are working on our inner emotional foundation and our “base”; following our personal instincts (rather than being driven by our ambitions) will bring greater happiness, balance, and fulfillment in all areas of life.

For the next 18 months, ask yourself: Is where I’m rooted helping me thrive? If I were a young plant or tree, would I say I was planted in fertile ground? What else do I need to flourish and grow? What has changed in the past 9 years in that regard? How could I make my experience of “home” more nurturing?

The Capricorn South Node insists that we rein in any tendency to over-manage our own and others’ lives and relax our standards of perfection and achievement. The message is to avoid living up solely to the standards of “society” and overvaluing our professional or other “status” achievements over those of a more personal kind. In the same spirit, we are invited to be more conscious of our tendency to want to be “in control”, to take responsibilities too seriously, to be rigid, and to be fearful of being dependent on others.

It comes down to this: What might become possible if we connected our strong need for structure and maturity to a good dose of emotional and physical Self-care? If there was a way to combine self-nurturing with building practical, serviceable social structures, what might that way be?

As always when Cancer and Capricorn are involved, take baby-steps (or, if you prefer, go one day at a time 😉 Why sprint if walking got you there at the perfect time? (if nothing else, you won’t be out of breath when you arrive 😉 Right now, it’s not about being the first one to arrive at the goal, it’s more about getting there without neglecting yourself.

It’s also worth mentioning the Saturn and Moon transits that will impact us for the next 18 months, since Saturn, currently also in Capricorn, emphasizes the issues connected with the Capricorn South Node.

This could bring up a sense of inadequacy or insecurity when it comes to building foundations in our lives, manifesting things, or achieving success or status. The more we obsess, the more inadequate we will feel; the key is to slow down, be patient, and practice working towards a longer-term goal. Continually observe what works (and what doesn’t) in the moment, rather than hold on to any outdated traditions that no longer serve us, whether collectively or in our own individual lives.

[/wcm_restrict]

Moon Nodes are also connected to the Eclipse cycles; each of these cycles prompts us to evolve and provides an opportunity to progress to the next level of our Soul’s Journey, collectively and individually. The Solar Eclipse in 20.5º of Cancer on July 12th, 2018 started a new Eclipse cycle connected to the Cancer/Capricorn polarity.

Think back to that time and see what you discovered about yourself in relationship to Self-care. How was it a new beginning (or perhaps a preview of what’s to come) in connection with family, home (this could be a physical or emotional “home”) — was there a shift around feeling “at home” or “safe”, both internally and in the world?

We also discussed this in more detail during our last Forecasting Forum, in connection with our own birth charts; if you’d like to know more about how the Moon Nodes’ movements impact you personally, click here to get the video of the Forum.

Jupiter in Sagittarius

Jupiter symbolizes the principle of expansion; in Scorpio it held a magnifying glass over authentic, emotional commitments or connections and thereby changed our perspective on our subconscious drives and fears, those suppressed or denied parts of ourselves.

Since Scorpio was all about feeling more fully and authentically connected to all parts of ourselves (and thereby feeling empowered), everything in the human unconscious was lit up — we got to see the darker side of things, our survival strategies — and our deepest, darkest desires.

With Jupiter in Sagittarius, that magnifying glass now swings over to…

… seeking the truth, we are invited to look for the bigger picture and grow on a mental and spiritual level, so we can experience more freedom from our survival instincts and instead undergo mental expansion.

This process very well might operate on a mental/spiritual level, so any “journeys” that we invest in will pay off — and we are able to feel more optimistic about our discoveries as we gain a new perspective on those suppressed or denied parts of ourselves.

Since Sagittarius also connects with religions, we could see greater possibilities when it comes to religious or spiritual communities, and any gifts or talents that they offer.

We are also more likely to be enthusiastic for longer journeys — it doesn’t matter whether we physically undertake such a journey, or simply “travel” with the mind, as long as we experience expansion and learning of some kind.

Questions you could ask yourself: What might promote a new perspective on life? On myself? What journey might lead to wisdom? What spiritual aspirations am I now ready to explore?

Collectively, we will probably see the full spectrum of possibilities expressed, high and low — Sagittarius at its best is adventurous, brave, and wise, optimistic, restless, enthusiastic, honest, outspoken and independent — and in its lower vibrations we find blind optimism, excess, truth-stretching, overindulgence and irresponsibility showing up as well.

No matter what we experience on a collective level, if we are open to seeing the bigger picture, our personal journey will ultimately provide us with a higher perspective when it comes to life on this planet.

Saturn moved through Sagittarius from Dec. 2014 until June 2015, and then again from Sept. 2015 until Dec. 2017; as Jupiter moves over the same territory in our charts we get an opportunity to build on the structures and foundations that were laid back then. Think back to those periods of time: Did you do the work? What structures did you build? What has changed for you since? How could you create a bigger win (or bigger opportunities) now?
[/wcm_restrict]
Where does Jupiter-in-Sagittarius fall in your own birth chart? What aspects does it make during the year-long transit? How does a wise response to one house support a more fruitful response to the next one? What outward opportunities arise as Jupiter interacts with any of your personal planets? Where will you experience a major expansion until Dec. 2019? Where are you ready to go beyond what you currently belief is possible?

If you’d like more insight into those questions, we also covered the Jupiter movement into Sagittarius in more detail in our last Forecasting Forum — if you want to know how this planetary movement is impacting you personally, feel free to purchase the video-presentation of the last webinar — we applied the Jupiter movement to our own birth charts! Click here to purchase our most recent Forum
