New Moon in Pisces — the article

On March 2nd, at 12:35pm EST, the Moon aligns with the Sun in 12 degrees of Pisces, marking the beginning of a new Moon cycle. Feel free to also watch my New Moon video on the subject

Because New Moons mark the ending and beginning of a monthly cycle, they are an optimal time to pause, reflect, and set new Intentions for the next 28 days.

This New Moon chart has four planets in Pisces — a line up (aka Stellium) that includes the Sun, the Moon, Jupiter and Neptune; the New Moon and Jupiter also sextile Uranus in Taurus. The Sun squares December’s Solar Eclipse degree several hours after the New Moon becomes exact, which signifies a turning point.

There is also a second line up in this New Moon chart that takes place in Capricorn, and includes Venus, Mars, and Pluto. And since those three planets answer to Saturn right now (Saturn being the ruler of Capricorn), we must also mention the current Saturn-Mercury conjunction in Aquarius.

All of this will bring some forward movement. The next four weeks are thus essential in our lives on both the personal and collective levels. In fact, new beginnings are possible on multiple levels, as long as we get enough rest and make time for tuning in. I will go into all of this in more detail in a moment, but first let’s start with the Stellium in Pisces:

Pisces invites us to connect with our inner divinity, and with our ability to receive, trust our intuition, and contribute to life from a heart-centered and empathic place.

Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac, and thus connects us to our spiritual journey, as it represents a reunion with Source/God/the Universe. At its highest vibration, Pisces unifies all dualities — it is completely aware of the oneness of all. It tells us there is a union within, that exists always, and that we can tap into it.

To move into a higher, lighter Pisces vibrationask yourself the following questions:

Do you have your Ascendant or any personal planets in 10-14 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly for the next 28 days. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle. This is best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact — and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase — so this month, the best time to set intentions would be between 12:35pm on March 2nd and 4:45pm on March 3rd, and then again from 7:52pm on March 3rd until 12:35pm on March 4th (New York-time)

Full Moon in Leo – the article

On Feb. 16th at 11:56am ESTthe Moon opposes the Sun in 28 degrees of Leo — and this is when this month’s Full Moon becomes exact. We will start to feel this Full Moon build from the moment the Moon enters Leo on Monday morning (Feb. 14th). Relationships of all kinds are highlighted.

All Full Moons offer opportunities for us to see things in a new light; they also guide us away from polarization and division, toward balance and integration.

Ask yourself: How far have I come since setting Intentions back on Feb. 1st or 2nd, after the New Moon became exact? What am I aware of at this time?

The balance and integration we seek with this month’s Full Moon is connected to the Aquarius-Leo polarity.

This current Full Moon makes a Quincunx to Pluto in Capricorn, it also squares the Lunar Eclipse degree from Nov. 2021 and the Moon Nodes in Taurus-Scorpio — and, in this Full Moon chart, we also have some opportune planetary connections to Jupiter (the planet of possibility and expansion), which encourage us to release old assumptions and trust new possibilities. I will go into all those in detail in a moment…

As a Member of my online community, if you’d like to learn more about this month’s Full Moon, click here to watch my video.

The Full Moon Squares the Lunar Eclipse degree from Nov. 2021, making this Full Moon a powerful turning point on our journey towards greater stability — collectively and individually speaking.

What is your turning point? What needs to shift for you?

If you are familiar with your natal chart, take a look at the Houses involved (connected to the Square between this month’s Full Moon and the Lunar Eclipse from last year November) to see how this might play out for you 😉

If you prefer that I take a look at this for you, feel free to either book a 25-minute Soul Purpose Reading with me, a 25-minute Reading with Lia, or ask your question during the Monthly Forecasting Forum on Feb. 19th.

On Feb. 19th, we will investigate the upcoming Squares (in late February and early March), to the Eclipse points — in relationship to our own birth charts.

Now, let’s take a look at this Full Moon’s polarities: Aquarius, along with its co-rulers Saturn and Uranus, deals with the idea of being human, both on an individual level and as a member of the “human family”.

It represents a unique vision and approach to life. The classic Aquarian vision is one of interconnected equality — paradoxically, we are reminded at the same time that the power of unity lies in diversity.

Leo, on the other hand, is all about our individual self-expression, creativity, our ability to connect to a courageous, innocent heart, and inner joy.

This Full Moon is our chance to make a more conscious effort to embrace, integrate, and explore the lighter/higher vibrations of Leo. This is an optimistic, and extroverted sign, that represents our capacity to love — and our willpower. It signifies the quest to live from our center, our core, our truth — with joy in our hearts.

This Full Moon reminds us that everyone has the power to make a difference in the world, small or large — and when we join together, that power grows exponentially.

Ask yourself: How could I best honor both my individual self-expression and my interconnectedness with the world? How am I adding my voice (in small ways and large)?

As with all Full Moons, there’s a shadow side to be discussed — the Shadow of both signs involved in this Full Moon: Aquarius & Leo — and please note that the shadow side of any sign is usually not as comfortable to look at or easy to embrace. Aquarius’s shadow side

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in the following: 26-29 degrees of Leo, Aquarius, Taurus, Scorpio, or 0 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini, or Sagittarius? If so, you may feel the effects of this Full Moon more strongly. New Moon in Aquarius – the article

On Feb. 1st at 12:46am EST, a powerful New Moon in almost 12.5 degrees of Aquarius becomes exact; this is the beginning of a new Moon cycle.  I also recommend you watch my video on the subject.

This Lunar cycle invites us to go out there and connect (or re-connect) with “our people” – with a tribe that resonates, a cause that feels aligned with our principles and our integrity, a connection that serves a larger vision for the future, etc.

This New Moon is unique in that it takes place on the same day as Chinese New Year and marks the beginning of the Year of the Yang Water Tiger, emphasizing the importance of caution, growth, development, challenge, creation, and planning. Ask yourself: Where am I ready for a new plan? Where do I need to still implement some changes in order to move forward?

The Tiger in Chinese Astrology represents power, prestige, and autonomy. Yang-Water is connected to flowing water, like a river, or the clouds in the sky. So you could say: when we allow the flow to guide us (in other words, when we trust our intuition), we grow stronger and can achieve more.

According to Chinese Astrology, 2022 is a great year to start a business or career goal: We are full of energy to take on a challenge and set off on an adventure.

Coming back to Western, Tropical Astrology, we have two exalted planets in this New Moon chart: Mercury (the planet of communication & how we process information) and Venus (the planet of self-worth & how we relate to others). Both of them are currently in Capricorn, and are thus asking us to be extra-mindful about connecting to a healthy sense of responsibility and self-reliance.

Mercury comes to a halt — ending its 3-week Retrograde phase — only 2.5 days after the New Moon becomes exact (on Feb. 3rd in the late evening), while Venus ends her 6-week Retrograde phase only 3 days before the New Moon becomes exact on Jan. 29th, at 3:36am EST.

When a planet changes directions, its energy will be “louder” for some days before and after that shift. Venus has been “louder” since Jan. 23rd and will continue to ask for our attention until Feb. 4th. Mercury will be exalted until Feb. 6th.

When planets end Retrograde phases, they are ready to move forward and bring to the world whatever material they have learned and integrated during the Retrograde. Ask yourself…

James Clear, says it beautifully in this article: “For most of our evolutionary history, our ancestors lived in tribes. Becoming separated from the tribe—or worse, being cast out—was a death sentence… When we have to choose between the two, people often select friends and family over facts… The way to change people’s minds is to become friends with them, to integrate them into your tribe, to bring them into your circle… As proximity increases, so does understanding… If someone you know, like, and trust believes a radical idea, you are more likely to give it merit, weight, or consideration… the best place to ponder a threatening idea is in a non-threatening environment. As a result, books are often a better vehicle for transforming beliefs than conversations or debates… The word “kind” originated from the word “kin.” When you are kind to someone it means you are treating them like family… Develop a friendship. Share a meal. Gift a book. Be kind first, be right later.”

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 10-15 degrees of Aquarius, Leo, Taurus, or Scorpio? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Finally, let’s talk “New Moon Intentions” 🙂 The New Moon is the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle; this is best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact, and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase.

That means that this month, the best time to set intentions would be any time between 12:46am and 6:01am on Feb. 1st, and then again, from 6am on Feb. 2nd until 12:46am on Feb. 3rd -(New York Time/US Eastern Time)

If you live in a timezone other than EST (US East Coast), and converting timezones isn’t your thing, I suggest joining my Facebook Fanpage and/or following me on Twitter. I will post reminders to let you know when it is time to set your New Moon intentions 😉

Moon Nodes in Taurus-Scorpio until 2023!

On Jan. 18th, 2022, at 2:50pm EST, the Moon Nodes switched from Gemini/Sagittarius to Taurus/Scorpio; they will remain in those signs until July 17th, 2023! The last time the Moon Nodes were in these particular signs was back in April 2003 – December 2004.

The transiting Moon Nodes show us what our Soul’s Journey currently requires on the collective and personal levels — let’s take a closer look at what this means:

The goal of the collective Soul’s journey is to balance and integrate two apparently opposite energies: the honoring of the physical, material realm (symbolized by Taurus), and our ability to transform what was traumatic or disempowering with an open heart and use it as inner fuel, making it a strength, while learning about the cycles of life — endings and beginnings of all kinds (linked to Scorpio).

We will thus need to look closely at the balance between honoring our physical, material needs, versus our quest for emotional authenticity and empowering connections – and become more conscious about our Shadow issues and traumas from the past. The Scorpio urge to “go deeper” is essential for our ability to understand the darker parts of our psyche; in terms of balancing these energies, that same urge plays a crucial role in how we connect with others and share our gift and talents (Taurus).

For the next 18 months, ask yourself: How am I doing with owning previously denied or rejected parts of myself? What parts of myself still operate from survival strategies? Where am I still left feeling disempowered in my life?

To get a more personal interpretation, we also need to take a look at the House placement of that Taurus/Scorpio polarity in our own birth charts, as well as the ruling planets of those signs involved… We cover the houses in a webinar (I will include a link at the end of this article).

In Taurus, the North Node invites us to make an effort to…

The Moon Nodes are also connected to the Eclipse cycles; each of these cycles prompts us to evolve and provides an opportunity to progress to the next level of our Soul’s Journey — collectively and individually speaking.

The Lunar Eclipse in 27º of Taurus on Nov. 19th, 2021 started this new Eclipse cycle connected to the Taurus/Scorpio polarity. What is beginning? What is ending in your life?

The next Eclipse (a North Node Solar Eclipse in Taurus) will take place on April 30th, 2022; it will be followed by a Lunar Eclipse in Scorpio on May 16th, 2022. There will be more Eclipses in October & November of 2022 — please check my weekly Forecast or bi-monthly videos for more info on those.

Where is your Soul’s journey taking you over the next 18 months? How can you best align yourself with this new collective Soul’s Journey in the Taurus-Scorpio polarity?

If you’d like more detail on how the Moon Nodes’ movements impact you personally until July 2023, join our upcoming Forecasting Forum on Jan. 22nd at 11:30am EST, where we will look at everything detailed in this article in connection with our own birth charts. Full Moon in Cancer — the article

On Jan. 17th, at 6:48pm EST the Moon opposes the Sun in almost 28 degrees of CancerThe entrance of the Moon into Cancer late in the morning of Jan. 15th begins the energetic build up towards this Full Moon.

Relationships of all kinds are highlighted during this time — but with this Full Moon, there is a particularly strong emphasis on family- and business-relationships. If you are already a Member of my online community, feel free to click here and watch my Full Moon video for more details.

Lots of planets are involved in this Full Moon chart — Mercury and Venus are both Retrograde, while Uranus is exalted, and will come to a halt only 15.5 hours after the Full Moon becomes exact. Neptune supports the integration of the Full Moon polarity, while Pluto intensifies it; Saturn (the ruler of Capricorn) aligns with Mercury in Aquarius and both square an exalted Uranus in Taurus… and all play an important role, so buckle up! More about the specifics in regards to all of these planets in a moment.

But first, let’s talk about this month’s Full Moon: This Lunation shows us how well we are doing with self-care and any issues connected to family or home — and also where we are in connection to greater emotional responsibility and self-alignment.

Ask yourself: What’s my relationship to self-care and where do I feel most “at home”? What’s my understanding of my emotional needs? How might an emotional connection to myself and loved ones be of benefit to me? How might it shift my priorities?

Cancer is the first of the water signs and is therefore emotional and mercurial (like a river or a stream). Feelings are real, but may not always seem rational… until we can identify the underlying, unmet need connected to a particular feeling.

We all have needs. For example: we all have a need for love or approval, for control (or not feeling out of control), a need for safety or security, for human connection or a heart connection to a living being, and a need for autonomy or independence.

Our feelings reflect whether our needs are being met. Feeling happy, peaceful, and open indicates that our needs are being met. When we feel “negative emotions” (e.g. stressed, depressed, angry/frustrated, etc.) it’s clear that at least one important need is not being met.

If you are feeling any of the latter emotions, ask yourself: Which of my needs is not being met at this time? Am I lacking (and therefore “wanting”) approval, love, control, safety, or security? Am I wanting to feel connected, closer, or do I want to be separate? And whichever one it is, could I let go of “wanting” that, just for this now moment?

In other words, could I let go of the idea that I am lacking something? Would I? In other words, am I willing to let go, just as best as I can, just for right now? When? (This last question is an invitation to let go right here, right now).

By the way, if you enjoyed those questions, or are intrigued, they come from The Sedona Method – a set of processes I use extensively in my coaching work, that are very subtle and powerful. For more info about my Coaching-Healing sessions, click here.

Now, let’s take a look at the polarities involved with this Full Moon…

New Moon in Capricorn – the article

On Sunday afternoon (Jan. 2nd), at 1:33pm EST, the Moon aligns with the Sun in almost 12.5 degrees of Capricorn, launching a new Moon cycle.

There are three quick things I would like to mention before we get started:

  1. 1. On Jan. 8th we have a webinar “About all of 2022” Join us for a full forecast about the coming year and the setting of great Intentions for 2022! This webinar is not included in the monthly Forecasting Forum Series, so please sign up even if you are a Star Member! Early Bird Special is only $27 — for everyone!

New Moons are good times to reflect on our lives and set new intentions. This is therefore a good time to go within, to plant a seed for anything we would like to accomplish over the next 28 days, and maybe even beyond.

In Capricorn, this New Moon directs us to reassess our relationship to power and authority. The next section of this forecast will dig into this in more detail — you may also want to watch my New Moon video 🙂

The highest vibration of Capricorn is self-mastery: the development of responsibility, resourcefulness, reliability, the ability to set realistic goals and establish healthy boundaries. The next 28 days are a perfect time to work some more on these areas.

This is the first New Moon of the year, and since Capricorn represents the quest for self-mastery on the physical plane, some useful questions you can ask yourself include:

What is my relationship to self-mastery? Am I going about things in a realistic way? What does “setting healthy boundaries” look like to me? What do I know about my own limitations? Other people’s? What are my priorities in connection with long-term goals? What does the word “integrity” bring out in me? Where am I on the road to self-mastery?

As best as you can, prepare for the future, make commitments, and recognize responsibilities — in other words, nurture your dreams in a realistic manner.

Focus on setting and achieving practical and attainable long-term goals, one step at a time, one day at a time — this is not about immediate results, it’s about the quality of the foundation you are building.

Capricorn also invites us to set the kind of realistic limits and boundaries that allow everyone involved to learn from the consequences of their choices. Ask yourself: Where in my life am I able to set realistic limits and boundaries? Where am I not? What might I be afraid of when I don’t?

Capricorn relates directly to the level of our maturity. Ask yourself: What would taking 100% responsibility for my life look like? What if I responded to situations in a way that respects and serves all those involved?

Do I respect the laws of matter? What am I willing to undergo to overcome adversity? How committed am I to that?

Let’s talk about some of the aspects connected to this particular New Moon chart…

Do you have your Ascendant or any personal planets in 10-15 degrees of Capricorn, Cancer, Aries, or Libra? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for the month’s Moon cycle — and the very best time to do this is after the New Moon becomes exact (but definitely not during a Moon void of course).

So this month, there are two best and most potent times to set intentions — the first would be any time between 1:33pm on Sunday, Jan. 2nd, and 11:21am on Monday late morning, Jan. 3rd — and the second would be between Monday late afternoon at 5:44pm and Tuesday early afternoon at 1:33pm (EST/New York time).

If you live in a timezone other than EST (US East Coast time), and converting time zones isn’t your thing, I suggest joining my Facebook Fan-page and/or following me on Twitter, as I post reminders when it’s time to set your intentions 😉

Full Moon in Gemini — the article

On Dec. 18th at 11:36pm EST the Full Moon becomes exact, in 27.5 degrees of Gemini; the entrance of the Moon into Gemini Thursday afternoon (Dec. 16th) started the energetic build up towards this Full Moon.

The Moon in chatty, versatile Gemini opposes the Sun in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius. If you are already a Member of my online community, feel free to watch my Full Moon video for more details.

Since the last Lunation was a powerful Solar Eclipse, we are still in Eclipse season until the next New Moon on Jan. 2nd, 2022. This means that, until then, we continue to integrate our evolutionary downloads and consciousness upgrades. We might feel more tired or even exhausted because of those inner processes.

Even though the current Moon Nodes remain in Gemini-Sagittarius until January 18, 2022, this Full Moon is no longer a Lunar Eclipse, because the Moon Nodes are too far away (in degrees) from the Moon and the Sun.

The Moon Nodes in Gemini-Sagittarius (since May 2020) and the current Full Moon occurring in those same signs does, however, intensify the quest to find a balance between those two polarities.

Feel free to also check out my webinar in connection with those Moon Nodes (if you haven’t seen it yet), to get a more specific take on how this might be impacting you personally.

You can ask yourself over the next two weeks: What have I learned about the difference between observation and opinion since May of 2020? What do I now know about the difference between fact and interpretation? Or perception vs. understanding?

On May 26th, 2021 there was a Lunar Eclipse at 5.5º Sagittarius-Gemini. This Full Moon at 27.5º Gemini-Sagittarius, highlights these two signs once again.

This current Lunar cycle will continue a conversation that started back in late May around our beliefs and attitudes towards government and how we meet challenges that are coming up as a collective.

You can ask yourself here: Could I take responsibility for my part in that conversation and the stories to which I am attached? Am I willing to participate in that conversation in a mature way? Am I hiding behind old beliefs and social conditioning?

Am I able to acknowledge my limitations and shortcomings without making others wrong? Am I willing to approach this unique collective situation with a curious mind and an open heart?

Whenever a planet changes direction, or squares the Moon Nodes, its archetypal significance is intensified — in other words, the planet’s energies become exalted.

This current Full Moon has two highly exalted planets:
Venus in
Capricorn & Chiron in Aries (both planets changing directions within 12 hours of the Full Moon becoming exact); Jupiter squares the Moon Nodes (therefore Jupiter is even more significant than just being the ruler of Sagittarius); Neptune in Pisces just ended its station the day before the Full Moon becomes exact, and squares the Full Moon polarity in Gemini-Sagittarius.

There are several other important aspects in this Full Moon chart and I will go into all of them in detail in a moment — but first, let’s address the Gemini-Sagittarius polarities:

Full Moons illuminate the higher/lighter vibration as well as the denser Shadow side of each sign. As our collective consciousness continues to awaken, what’s been in the shadows comes to the forefront more and more, so we can see it more clearly and deal with it on a conscious level.

The lighter side of Gemini is all about…

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 25-29 degrees of Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo, Pisces, or 0 degrees of Cancer, Capricorn, Libra or Aries? If so, you are more affected by this month’s Full Moon. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo, the Moon rules Cancer)

Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius – the article

On Dec. 4th at 2:43am EST, a total Solar Eclipse sweeps across Antarctica. People located at the southernmost tips of South America, Africa, Australia, and New Zealand will be able to see partial phases. This New Moon (Solar Eclipse) becomes exact at 12.5 degrees of Sagittarius, launching a new Moon and Eclipse cycle.

Solar Eclipses are extra-powerful New Moons that take place approximately every 6 months; during a Solar Eclipse, the Moon momentarily interrupts the normal flow of solar radiation, destabilizing existing configurations of energy and reorganizing consciousness to a higher level. Solar Eclipses indicate the beginning of a new experience, project, or cycle.

This is the last of four Eclipses in 2021. While there is a New Moon each month, Eclipses occur only 4-7 times a year, when the Sun, Moon, and Earth are precisely enough aligned. You may also want to watch my Solar Eclipse video.

Eclipses usually come in pairs (Solar and Lunar). Eclipse season starts 14 days before the first Eclipse (in this case, the Lunar Eclipse in Taurus), and continues through the time of the second (for this Eclipse season, that would be the Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius). This Eclipse Season started back on Nov. 4th and will last until Jan. 2nd, 2022.

The Sun and Moon are connected to one of the Moon Nodes during an Eclipse, switching between the North and South Node Eclipses, emphasizing the evolutionary upgrades that are available to us during such times.

This is the second South Node Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius since the Moon Nodes entered Gemini/Sagittarius in May 2020 and is also the last South Node Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius for the next 18 years.

South Node Eclipses ask us to release or redefine energies or attachments that no longer serve our Soul’s evolution. They highlight past issues that need our attention, so we can grow beyond our conditioning, individually and collectively.

Ask yourself: What has shifted for me in regards to my perspectives towards life since Dec. 2020? What believes, expectations, or attitudes, if any, have I redefined or released?

What past issues came up around my social, cultural, or religious conditioning, between Dec. 2020 – June 2021? Where could I take a closer look at those issues over the next 6 months and grow beyond that conditioning? If I take a moment to look beyond my conditioning, what has my direct experience been so far? What needs to either be completed or go to the next level now?

Eclipses are crossroads or turning points along our Soul’s Journey. They are often marked by events or situations that signify a critical shift in our lives, nudging us to either change and grow, or face greater difficulties at the next turning point. The next turning point for this Eclipse will be in early March when the Sun reaches 12.5º of Pisces and squares the Solar Eclipse degree.

Solar Eclipses, in particular, often correspond with major endings and beginnings. They occur close to the same degree every 19 years and the last time we had a South Node Solar Eclipse in a very close degree was on Dec. 4th, 2002.

We are likely to experience a resonance between now and that time — “resonant”, rather than identical — so think back to the Winter of 2002/2003, and ask yourself: Were there any major endings and beginnings? What was important to me back then? If I were to take those priorities to the next level, where would that next level find me?

If you’re looking for more guidance on those questions, I would suggest taking a look at your Natal Chart — the House placement of the Eclipse will indicate which area of life is ready to release outdated beliefs and social conditioning and go to a new level of consciousness. If that idea appeals, check out my 30-minute class, “How to Read Your Birth Chart”.

Solar Eclipses are a good time to go within, to seed anything we would like to redefine or release over the next 6 months — we’ll dig into this in more detail towards the end of this article, when we talk about setting Solar Eclipse Intentions.

PLEASE NOTE, that setting Intentions for an Eclipse is not the same as setting Intentions for a regular New Moon!!!!

With the Solar Eclipse in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, we seek to expand our day-to-day knowledge and look for a larger perspective.

For the next six months, ask yourself: What philosophies most resonate with me? What life perspectives are no longer serving me? What stories have I been telling myself about life? What universal truths feel immediately in alignment with my direct experience of life right now?

Lots to consider with this Eclipse chart…

This New Moon/Solar Eclipse will conjunct Mercury, quincunx Uranus in Taurus, sextile Saturn in Aquarius, and trine Chiron in Aries. Neptune in Pisces is exalted at the time of the Eclipse, and it squares Mercury in Sagittarius. Jupiter, the ruler of Sagittarius, currently in Aquarius squares Mars in Scorpio. Venus & Chiron will start to slow down and start their Station phases very soon after the Eclipse becomes exact. More about all that in a moment, but first let’s take a look at the Mercury/Sun/Moon alignment in Sagittarius

Again, because Eclipses are so powerful, they require a bigger orb than a regular Full or New Moon. I usually use a 5º orb instead of 2º… so since this Solar Eclipse takes place in 12.5 degrees of Sagittarius:

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 7-18 degrees of Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo, or Pisces? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Setting Intentions for a Solar Eclipse is a little different from the regular monthly New Moon process — after all, we are setting them for the whole 6-month Eclipse cycle, rather than just the next 28 days.

Solar Eclipse Intentions are best done 48 hours after the Eclipse becomes exact. We are downloading new templates at the time of an Eclipse, and the energies are quite intense, so we want to wait until it all settles down a little before setting our intentions — we also definitely do not want to do this during a Moon void of course.

Given all this, there are two best and most potent times to set your Intentions for this Solar Eclipse:

The first one lasts 21 hours, between 2:43am and 11:42pm on Monday (Dec. 6th), and the second one lasts for almost 20 hours, between 6:49am on Tuesday (Dec. 7th) and 2:43am on Wednesday (Dec. 8th) — (in US Eastern Time — i.e. the New York time zone).

Set powerful intentions — again, they cover the next six months — and if possible, align them with the Sagittarian energy!

If you live in a timezone other than EST (US East Coast-time), and converting time zones isn’t your thing, I suggest joining my Facebook Fan-page and/or following me on Twitter, as I post reminders when it’s time to set your intentions 😉

Powerful Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Taurus — the article

On November 19th, at 3:57am EST, the Moon opposes the Sun (in 27 degrees of Taurus/Scorpio). This powerful Full Moon is also a Lunar Eclipse. Every six months, the Sun, Moon, & Earth align precisely enough for Solar and Lunar Eclipses to occur, generally (though not always) in pairs of one Lunar and one Solar Eclipse.

This particular Lunar Eclipse is the first of two Eclipses within a two-week period; it offers an opportunity for a deeper, more authentic connection with ourselves and others.

During a Lunar Eclipse, the Full Moon slowly dims as it passes through the Earth’s shadow, stimulating our emotional body and increasing our awareness of unconscious patterns and fears. If you’d like to learn more, and as a Member of my online community, click here to watch my Lunar Eclipse video.

Eclipses are always powerfully connected to the Moon Nodes and thus to our Soul’s Journey (both collectively and individually). All Eclipses transmit new energetic codes and transformative downloads, symbolized by the signs involved, in this case: The Moon is in steady, peaceful Taurus, while the Sun is in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio.

The more receptive we are to these transformative downloads, the more quickly and easily we can integrate them; time in nature, meditation, art, and spiritual endeavors support this integration process and help us better attune to these evolutionary upgrades.

Relationships of all kinds are highlighted during this time — but with this powerful Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse, there is a particularly strong emphasis both on self-value and on intimate relationships. Full Moons also illuminate the truth and consequences of our choices.

We become aware of what has been suppressed or ignored — or, this being a North Node Eclipse, what needs to be embraced, integrated, and explored — in regards to the Taurus energy.

It’s been 19 years since we experienced a Lunar Eclipse in this degree of Taurus. Think back to Nov. 19th, 2002: What did I need to integrate back then? What became more clear at that time, in regards to exploring my talents? What about my self-worth? Was I able to see my value? What about my relationship to money? To my physical reality? My Body? My ability to receive pleasure? To experience peace? Where do I need to take this to the next level?

We will also address the upcoming Eclipses in our next Forecasting Forum on Nov. 19th, the day of the Lunar Eclipse! Feel free to join us, if you would like to know how these powerful Lunations will impact you personally.

There is currently an Early Bird Special that is available until Nov. 16th! So feel free to take advantage of that, unless you are already a Star Member — you guys are automatically registered and will receive an email to join us live — it goes out the day before the live event, and the mp4-video recording is released within the 24 hours following the live event.

That’s it for announcements and logistics, back to the Full Moon…

Lots of planets are involved in this powerful Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse chart — two T-Squares, both of them with the Focus Point in Aquarius, and the empty leg in Leo. The ruler of Taurus (Venus) and the ruler of Scorpio (Pluto) are both in Capricorn at the time of this Lunation, making this sign an important place to look for how this Eclipse plays out in our lives. More about the specifics in regards to all of this in a moment….

The Moon Nodes are usually in the same sign as an Eclipse, but there are exceptions — those times where the Moon Nodes have not yet moved into the new polarity, but the Full Moon (or New Moon) is within 15 degrees of the transiting Moon Nodes, and therefore close enough to the Lunation to create an Eclipse effect.

This Full Moon is the first Lunar Eclipse in the Taurus-Scorpio polarity, and therefore provides a preview of what we can expect when the Moon Nodes start their journey through Taurus/Scorpio  –– a process which unfolds between Jan. 18th, 2022 and July 17th, 2023.

This constitutes a new collective Soul’s Journey, one that puts an emphasis on…

Because Eclipses are so powerful, they require a bigger orb than a regular Full or New Moon. I usually use a 5º orb instead of 2º… so since this Lunar Eclipse takes place in 27 degrees of Taurus:

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 22-29 degrees of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, Aquarius, or 0-2 degrees of Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo, or Pisces? If so, you are more affected by this month’s powerful Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

New Moon in Scorpio – the article

On Nov. 4th at 5:15pm EDT, the Moon aligns with the Sun in 12.5 degrees of Scorpio, beginning a new Moon cycle.

With the New Moon in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio it brings our focus to our intimate relationships, and deepest emotional desires and fears; if you’d like to learn more about this Lunation, check out my video on the subject 🙂

This New Moon is also the start of Eclipse season — which lasts until Jan. 2nd, 2022. My next Full Moon video will already be about the Lunar Eclipse in Taurus (the first of two Eclipses taking place within the next 4.5 weeks).

Eclipses are times of uncertainty, Uranian in nature, so anything could happen between now and January 2nd. It is important to remember that Eclipses open a door to the next level of our Soul’s evolution.

As best as you can, stay both grounded and flexible — and don’t jump the gun for the next 8.5 weeks — if you feel compelled to do something, do your best to simply observe the urge. The exception would be something that just happens organically, but if you are ambivalent about a possible action, better to hold off until Eclipse Season ends on January 2nd.

Eclipses bring major endings and beginnings. As best you can, trust that whatever is leaving is making space for something better — the more willing we are to change, the easier it will be.

That said, projects and interactions that got underway prior to Eclipse season (i.e. before Nov. 4th) are another matter — don’t stop your life just because it is Eclipse season 😉

I will also talk about the upcoming two Eclipses in more detail in my next Forecasting Forum. If you want to know how these powerful Lunations are going to impact you personally, feel free to join us — we will apply what’s coming up to our own birth charts. The Forum is on Nov. 19th at 2pm EST (the day of the Lunar Eclipse) — for more info, click here.

Also available for purchase as an mp4-video presentation, after Nov. 19th, on my Webinar-page.

Please note that registration to the Forum also includes access to the next Members Lunar Eclipse video and a recording of the live-event 😉 AND, there is an Early Bird Special that will be available until Nov. 16th at midnight EST!

A couple of things to note in this New Moon chart: we have an exact opposition to Uranus in Taurus, the planet associated with breakdowns, breakthroughs, sudden change, freedom and innovation.

We have a T-Square with Saturn in Aquarius as the Focus Point; Venus in Sagittarius will be in an exalted degree at the time of the New Moon; and Mercury (the ruler of the current North Node) is yet again highly aspected by many of the other planets in this New Moon chart, including Pluto (the ruler of Scorpio). More about all of that in a moment, but first let’s talk about the Scorpio energies…

Scorpio is the second water sign of the zodiac, so it relates not only to the depths of our own psyche, but also to the ecstasies and traumas of relationships. Scorpio is also the sign most associated with…

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 10-15 degrees of Scorpio, Taurus, Leo or Aquarius? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle. Intentions are best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact — and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase.

So this month, the best time to set intentions would be any time between 5:15pm (Nov. 4th) and 12:10pm on Nov. 5th; then again from 8:52pm (Nov. 5th) until 5:15pm on Nov. 6th — New York Time/US Eastern Time (please keep in mind that Europe and the UK do no longer have Daylight Savings Time, therefore the time difference is an hour less than usual at the time of the New Moon)

If you live in a timezone other than EDT (US East Coast-time), feel free to join my Facebook Fan-page or follow me on twitter. I will be posting reminders on Nov. 4th, 5th and 6th, to let you know when it is the most potent time to set your intentions.

Full Moon in Aries – the article

On Wednesday Oct. 20th, at 10:57am EDT, the Sun opposes the Moon in 27.5 degrees of AriesThe Moon in pioneering, fast-paced Aries makes an opposition to the Sun in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra.

Generally, a Full Moon brings our attention to our “emotional body”, increasing our awareness of what has been suppressed or ignored. This is especially true for this particular Full Moon — for much of this month, we are invited to direct our attention toward deeper self-care and more authentic connections to our emotional bodies. If you are a site Member, you may also want to watch my video on the subject.

We also have three exalted planets in this Full Moon chart: Pluto, Jupiter & Mercury. All three of them ended their various Retrograde phases just recently, and are still moving quite slowly trying to get up to their “regular” speed — so we can feel their energies stronger than usual.

The Aries/Libra polarity directs our awareness to the roles we identify with in our various one-on-one relationships — and this Full Moon is thus a call to take action on those roles.

In particular, it brings the focus to “independence”, so ask yourself: Where do I need to be more assertive? More accommodating? Less? Where have I been too independent? Too dependent? What roles or contracts need to be revisited? Or perhaps simply accepted for what they are?

This also involves the balance of feminine and masculine energies within ourselves, our relationships, and our world. Ask: Where have these energies gone out of balance? What happens when there is too much masculine? Too much feminine?

The higher vibrations of Aries include: courage and strength, openness towards the new, directness, assertiveness, and a healthy sense of identity.

The higher vibrations of Libra include: the ability to collaborate and connect on equal footing, and  achieve balanced or fair outcomes; our capacity for objectivity, dialogue and diplomacy, cooperation and composure.

Every Full Moon illuminates the shadow side of each sign as well. The “denser/lower” vibrations of Aries can be…

All of this is especially true for those of us with personal planets or points in 25-29 degrees of Aries, Libra, Cancer, Capricorn, or 0 degrees of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo or Aquarius. Personal planets are the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars; personal points are the Ascendent or MC (aka Career point).

New Moon in Libra – the article

On Oct. 6th at 7:05am EDT, the Moon aligns with the Sun in 13.5 degrees of Libra, beginning a new Moon cycle.

New Moons are introverted times, when we go within to learn what we wish to align ourselves with for the next 28 days; with this New Moon in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra, this will likely be win-win situations, fair exchanges, and harmony (within our relationships and with our general environment). Check out my New Moon video to learn more about this.

Even though we have four planets in Libra at the time of this New Moon (the Sun, the Moon, Mars, and Mercury), harmony and balance is not something that is easily achieved with this lunation. In fact, we have plenty of challenging aspects in this New Moon chart that might keep us off-balance — to say nothing of the Pluto Station Direct phase that has been intensifying since Sept. 29th and that will come to a complete halt on Oct. 6th, only 7.5 hours after the New Moon becomes exact — and of course, we also have Mercury still in its Retrograde phase in Libra until Oct. 18th.

More about all those details in a moment: first, let’s talk about the New Moon — and specifically, the Libra component of this New Moon chart…

All relationships begin with our relationship to ourselves — everything “out there” is a reflection of “in here”… Ideally speaking, interacting with another person is a co-creative, equal exchange — we must be centered within ourselves, yet also tuned into each other, all the while responding to the rhythm of life.

Here are some useful questions to ask yourself for this new Moon cycle: What does an “equal relationship” look like? Where is the balance point? What comes up for me when I hear the phrase “the art of relationship”?

As the seventh sign in the zodiac, Libra represents a major turning point, one that invites us to investigate ourselves through the lens of “the other” (by relating on a one-on-one level).

Anything we haven’t mastered from the six signs that precede Libra, we bring to all of our relationships, attracting people who mirror back to us our relationship with ourselves: Libra thus invites us to see all of our issues, resolve them, and become whole.

Ask yourself: What if harmony and peace were mine to create within me first?  The Libra energy encourages us to…

Here is a quote that fits really well with this New Moon:

“There’s been a coup underway for awhile now, a quiet coup happening under the radar, one that’s never reported by the media, one that is far more radical and world-changing than anything history has ever seen. This isn’t a coup that simply overthrows governmental systems or the people in power, but a coup that overturns our very perception of reality. This coup is the overthrow of an idea that led us down this path of suffering and brought us to the brink of ecological catastrophe, an idea that set the stage for every imaginable injustice: the idea of “separateness”… Despite how frightening our present circumstances appear, they are lending immense momentum to this quiet coup that is preparing the way for a new world to arise, a world that reflects the inviolable truth of Love.” — Patricia Pearce

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 11-16 degrees of Libra, Aries, Capricorn or Cancer? If so, you may feel the effects of this Super New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (since the Sun rules Leo and the Moon rules Cancer).

The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle. Intentions are best set soon after the New Moon becomes exact, and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase — so this month, the best time to set intentions would be any time between 7:05am on Oct. 6th, and 1:03am on Oct. 7th, or between 10:22am on Oct. 7th, and 7:05am, on Oct. 8th (New York-Time).

Full Moon in Pisces – the article

On Monday Sept. 20th, at 7:55pm EDT, the Sun opposes the Moon in 28 degrees of Pisces. The Moon in creative, free-flowing Pisces makes an opposition to the Sun in detail-oriented, practical Virgo — the entrance of the Moon into Pisces on Sept. 18th starts the energetic build up towards this Full Moon — if you are already a Member of my online community, you may also want to watch my video on the subject: click here.

On Sept. 20th, we can ask ourselves: How far have we come since the Sept. 6th New Moon? What can we see now that was not apparent then?

This Full Moon has six planets in Retrograde motion: Jupiter, Saturn, Chiron, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. This indicates a strong need for inner processing and aligning ourselves with those planetary energies from within. It’s a necessary phase of re-evaluation, restructuring, and letting go.

Things appear to slow down during a retrograde passage, as internal shifts must happen before we can progress; once a planet turns direct, we feel ready to move forward in that area of life.

Three of the six planets I mentioned above will start to go direct in October (Jupiter, Saturn & Pluto), and at that point, we will get the opportunity to bring all of our inner discoveries from the previous 4-5 months to the outside world.

For a more in-depth interpretation of your own chart, in connection with Saturn’s & Pluto’s Station Direct phases, join us live for the Forum on Sept. 17thor get the mp4-video presentation of the live event. Either way, register here now (unless you are already a Star Member — in that case, you are automatically registered).

And if you are reading this on or after Sept. 17th, feel free to get the mp4-video presentation of this webinar here.

With this Full Moon, we are also dealing with two stationing planets — Mercury & Pluto — Mercury in Libra is preparing to start its 3-week Retrograde phase on Sept. 27th, and is therefore exalted at the time of the Full Moon; Pluto in Capricorn is preparing to end its 5-months Retrograde phase on Oct. 6th, and will be exalted until Oct. 21st.

We are getting ready to retrace our steps (Mercury in Libra), and are seeking empowerment when it comes to our long-term goals or social structures (Pluto in Capricorn).

Now let’s first address this Full Moon’s polarities: The Virgo/Pisces polarity has to do with our ability to connect the head with the heart, logic with intuition, matter with spirit. So the question is: how do we integrate Pisces and Virgo?

This may seem a challenging question, given Virgo’s leaning toward…

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 26-29 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini, Sagittarius, or 0-1 degrees of Aries, Libra, Cancer or Capricorn? If so, you are more affected by this Full Moon — this is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

New Moon in Virgo — the article

On Sept. 6th at 8:52pm EDTthe Moon aligns with the Sun in 14.5 degrees of Virgo, marking the beginning of a new Moon cycle. We started to feel the effects of this New Moon the moment the Moon entered Virgo on Sunday evening (Sept. 5th). Feel free to watch my New Moon video on the subject.

This New Moon has an abundance of planets in Earth & Air signs: the Moon, the Sun, and Mars in Virgo, Pluto in Capricorn, and Uranus in Taurus (all planets in Earth Signs) and then Mercury and Venus in Libra, Saturn and Jupiter in Aquarius, and the North Node in Gemini (Air Signs).

The element of Earth deals with the physical reality of things and usually requires a practical approach. The Air element deals with the mental level; usually we have the ability to look at what’s ideal and how we might create it through connection with others. This means that our focus will be on those things for the next four weeks — on both the individual and collective levels.

I will talk more about this in connection with the planetary aspects of this New Moon chart, but first let’s look at the Virgo energy of this New Moon:

Virgo provides an opportunity to learn about being of service — and what it might mean to strengthen our focus on improving our daily routines — getting organized, for example — and taking care of health matters.

A great way to step into the higher vibrations of Virgo: recognize, as best as you can, that humility, self-improvement, and being of service bring you closer to your inner divinity and your Soul’s path.

Ask yourself: How could I, as a Spirit-being, operate more efficiently in the physical world? Might tweaking my daily routines help me function better in the physical world? Might that also support me in being of service? What benefits might I reap if I could better discern between the essential and the redundant?

This New Moon cycle will thus be a great time to begin…

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 12-17 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle. Intentions are best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact — and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase.

So this month, the best and most potent time to set intentions would be between 8:52pm (on Sept. 6th) and 3:24pm (on Sept. 7th); and then again from 11:20pm on Sept. 7th until 8:52pm on Sept. 8th (New York-time).

Full Moon/Blue Moon in Aquarius — the article

On Aug. 22nd, at 8:02am EDT, the Full Moon becomes exact. This is the second of two Full Moons in the Aquarius-Leo polarity within a 30-day period — and if you’ve ever wondered what a Blue Moon is… that’s exactly what we have here! If you are already a Member of my online community, you can click here to watch my video about this Blue Moon 😉

Two consecutive Moons in the same sign is particularly interesting because of the degree in which they become exact — usually an exalted degree — and the current Full Moon becomes exact in 29.5 degrees of Aquarius. This is indeed an exalted degree, because it is the last degree of the sign, and therefore the last chance for any transiting celestial body to express itself before changing signs.

This would indicate a strong urge to complete something — most likely something that started with the first Full Moon in 1.5º of Aquarius on July 23rd — and therefore is connected to social interactions, a desire for progress in connection to our vision for humanity, or our future in general.

The last time we had two consecutive Full Moons in the same sign was in the Spring of 2019, in Libra-Aries — and the last one in Aquarius-Leo was on July 22 & Aug. 20th, 2013 — and the one before that was way back in 2002, on July 24 & Aug. 22nd of that year, to be exact.

Ask yourself: What was important to me in the summers of 2013 and 2002? What of that is asking to be completed over the next two weeks? Where am I looking to transition to the next level?

With any Full Moon, we see things previously hidden, and get a chance to make some changes if we don’t like what we see. Given this, ask yourself: What keeps happening since July 23rd in my social networks or interactions? What needs adjusting? What needs outright change?

Something else that makes this Full Moon chart deeply unusual — even unique, in my experience — is six retrograde planets (bear in mind that there are only 9 planets that can even go retrograde)! So which ones are they? Jupiter, Saturn, Chiron, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto — all are retrograde at the time of the Full Moon, which means that we have a chance to get more in tune with all of their energies.

Uranus, although retrograde after Aug. 19th, is still stationing/exalted until Sept. 2nd! (go to Aug. 5th – Weekly Forecasts for details, or watch the webinar: “Uranus in Taurus Exalted, August 2021”. I highly recommend this! Click here for more info or to purchase.).

When Retrograde, we access the energies of these 6 planets from…

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in the following: 27-29 degrees of Aquarius, Leo, Taurus, Scorpio, or 0-2 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you may feel the effects of this Full Moon more strongly. New Moon in Leo — the article

On Aug. 8th, at 9:50am EDTthe Moon aligns with the Sun in 16 degrees of Leo — in other words, the New Moon will be exact (I recommend you also watch my New Moon video on the subject).

There are several planets that have importance in this New Moon chart: Mercury in Leo, Uranus in Taurus, Saturn in Aquarius, Chiron in Aries, and Mars in Virgo.

Mercury aligns with the New Moon in Leo, making mental engagement an important part of our process for the next 28 days. Mercury also makes several other aspects in this New Moon chart (including a “Yod”), making it especially important for this Lunation.

Uranus is not only exalted in this New Moon chart, it is also once again the Focus point of a T-Square… But more about all of that in a moment; first let’s talk about the New Moon energies:

The New Moon in fun-loving, extroverted, expressive Leo has us looking for heartfelt experiences. It’s important for us to express ourselves, to learn about love — and in particular, to learn about how those things work together to help us create from the heart and from a place of joy.

Think about the keywords for this self-expressed fire sign: “proud, generous, hospitable, caring, warm, authoritative, active, open, fun-loving”… How could you live into those words?

Leo is ruled by the Sun, symbol of consciousness and the unique light we came to shine in this lifetime — this is what we were born to explore and express — so ask yourself: Where could I shine my unique light more brightly? What brings me joy? Not just in general… but in this very moment?

Leo also represents our…

And last, but definitely not least: the New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle; the best time for the intention-setting process is soon after the New Moon becomes exact, and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase.

That means the best time to set intentions this month would be between 9:50am, Aug. 8th, and 9:50am on Aug. 10th. The only exception is the roughly 2.5 hours on Aug. 9th, between 8:23am and 10:56am — during that time, the Moon will be Void of Course, which (as noted above) is never a good time to set Intentions. As always, all times are in EDT — the New York timezone.

If you live outside the EDT timezone, and converting timezones isn’t your thing, I suggest joining my Facebook Fanpage and/or following me on Twitter. I will be posting reminders on both platforms on Aug. 8th, 9th, and 10th, to let you know when is the best time to set your intentions 😉

Full Moon in Aquarius – the article

On July 23rd, at 10:37pm EDT, the Full Moon in 1.5 degrees of Aquarius becomes exact. The Moon in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius opposes the Sun in fun-loving, expressive Leo. If you are already a Member of my online community, you can click here to watch my video about this Full Moon 😉

Uranus in Taurus (the modern ruler of Aquarius), is still in a Square aspect to Saturn (the traditional ruler of Aquarius) in this Full Moon chart. The Moon in Aquarius makes an out-of-sign conjunction with Pluto, and approaches a conjunction with Saturn in Aquarius. There are also three Oppositions and three Quincunxes in this Full Moon chart.

Oppositions require integration and balance, whereas Quincunxes invite us to make some inner adjustments, as we may be experiencing some internal discomfort. Two of those three Quincunxes are inviting us to pay closer attention to our health. These are the major themes of this Full Moon chart and we will address them in detail in a moment.

But first, let’s talk about this Full Moon:

The Moon in Aquarius opposes the Sun in Leo; this highlights the power of our individual creativity and the exponential potency of collaboration. Each of us is invited to reclaim ourselves, and add our voice, heart, and hands to something that has meaning for us.

The invitation here is to dare to be different, and to remember how we are all part of a larger whole. The highest quest of Leo leads to authentic Self-expression: to embody our gifts, shine our light, and live our truth. The highest task of Aquarius, on the other hand, is the attainment of unity in diversity, where everyone’s uniqueness is honored and included.

When we align our head with our heart, we feel our interconnectedness with all of humanity, and we create and connect from love instead of fear. Given that Leo represents our individual self-expression and Aquarius our vision for humankind, a question is raised: How can we best achieve a balance between these two energies? Or perhaps even an integration?

For the next two weeks, we’ll be looking for answers to this question, as we might become more aware that something is out of alignment.

Even the brightest of Full Moons has a shadow side — so let’s take a look at the shadow of both signs involved in this Full Moon — and please note that the shadow side of any sign is usually not as comfortable to look at or easy to embrace.

As always with shadow aspects of ourselves, we need to beware of getting triggered and jumping to conclusions; we need to make sure we take time to respond rather than react. So here are the shadow sides of this Full Moon — let’s start with Leo’s shadow side:

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in the following: 0-4 degrees of Aquarius, Leo, Taurus, Scorpio or 29 degrees of Capricorn, Cancer, Aries or Sagittarius? If so, you may feel the effects of this Full Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

New Moon in Cancer — the article

On July 9th at 9:17pm EDT, the New Moon becomes exact in 18 degrees of Cancer; this is the beginning of a new Moon cycle. Feel free to watch my New Moon video on the subject.

This New Moon has a lot of aspects to other planets in this New Moon chart, especially much slower moving ones — including Chiron, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. Whenever a faster moving body links up with slower, outer planets in close aspect, the collective desire for change increases. But first let’s talk about the Cancer archetype:

Cancer is the first water sign of the zodiac, as such, it relates to the development of the “emotional body” — so this Moon cycle will continue to amplify feelings, instincts and needs.

Our feeling nature has been denied and suppressed for millennia, but we have begun to embrace it more fully — feelings are an essential source of information about our true needs — they are a dashboard that tells us what is healthy for us. When we don’t heed the information, we become dependent on others for validation and direction, or get lost in addictions and distractions.

With this New Moon occurring in protective, introverted Cancer, we’ll surround ourselves with quality and safety; we can expect anything connected to home, family, real-estate, or childhood issues to be heightened in our awareness for the next four weeks.

In Cancer, this New Moon highlights the importance of listening to our feelings, focusing on Self-care, healing old wounds from the past, and releasing unhealthy patterns that keep us stuck in the past.

Cancer is all about supporting and protecting life, but many of us are conditioned to ignore our bodies and our environment — along with our inner life, feeling-bodies, and emotional/spiritual connection to other life forms.

This creates a disconnect not only from our true selves but also from the rest of the world. Many of us tend to put little value on emotional intelligence, but it’s very hard to have meaningful, authentic connections without it — and it begins with…

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 16-20 degrees of Cancer, Capricorn, Aries, or Libra? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle. Intentions are best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact — and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase.

So this month, the best  and most potent time to set intentions would be any time between 9:17pm (July 9th) and 12:10pm EDT, on July 10th; and then again from 8:21pm (July 10th) until 9:17pm EDT on July 11th.

Super Full Moon in Capricorn — the article

On June 24th, at 2:40pm EDT, the Moon opposes the Sun in 3.5 degrees of Capricorn. This Full Moon also marks the end of Eclipse season. Yay! We have received our consciousness upgrades and can now move forward with any intentions we set mid-June. For all my Members: If you’d like to learn more about this month’s Full Moon, click here to watch my video

This Full Moon has heightened effects on us for many reasons: first, it is a “SuperFull Moon” (i.e. the Moon is at its closest distance to the Earth).

Secondly, lots of planets are involved in this Super Full Moon chart — Saturn, Neptune, Jupiter, Mercury, Chiron, Uranus, and Mars — and all play an important role, so buckle up!

We have three planets that are stationing (and thus exalted) at the time of this Full Moon — Neptune, Jupiter and Mercury — indicating that something is in our face and demands our awareness; we must pay attention to whatever comes up in connection with those energies.

In addition, we have a fixed T-Square and a Grand Fire Trine in this Full Moon chart, as well as four oppositions, all positively aspected by one of those planets mentioned above (Saturn, Jupiter, Neptune, Chiron and Mars). More details in a moment…

First, let’s take a look at the polarities involved in this Full Moon: The Moon in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn opposes the Sun in protective, feeling-oriented Cancer.

We have a heightened sense that something must be brought into balance and reintegrated; the balance in question is between the connection we have to our feelings and emotional needs, plus our ability to feel emotionally connected to others (symbolized by Cancer), versus our outer obligations or material, practical goals out there in the world (Capricorn).

It’s important to realize that our long-term goals need our attention — and that they could be the very thing that might bring the fulfillment and inner stability we seek. A realistic approach will work best here!

Ask yourself: Where might the balance point be between the demands of my inner and outer life? If I listened 5% more closely to my feelings, my body, and my intuition, might I be able to find that balance point more quickly?

Capricorn seeks to develop an internalized sense of authority and responsibility. This Full Moon is therefore asking us to look closely at how we balance taking care of ourselves (Cancer), versus how we want to contribute to the world at large (Capricorn) — in other words, where we have reached our limit, and where we need to set some priorities.

Ask yourself: What importance does nourishment have in my life? Do I know when I feel nourished? Physically? Emotionally? Spiritually? Mentally? Do I feel a connection with all of life? What’s keeping me separate, limited, or in fear? Could I be honest about that? And once I have acknowledged what that might be, could I decide to let it go, just for right now?

Any Full Moon also has us look more closely at the denser vibrations or shadow components of the energies involved. With Cancer, this is our ability to…

Solar Eclipse in Gemini — the article

On June 10th at 6:53am EDT, the New Moon (and Solar Eclipse) becomes exact in almost 20 degrees of GeminiSolar Eclipses are extra-powerful New Moons that take place approximately every 6 months — this is the first in 2021 — you may also want to watch my Solar Eclipse video.

During a Solar Eclipse, the Moon momentarily interrupts the normal flow of Solar Radiation, destabilizing existing configurations of energy and reorganizing consciousness to a higher level. Solar Eclipses indicate the beginning of a new experience, project, or cycle.

Eclipses usually come in pairs (Solar and Lunar), and “Eclipse seasons” start approximately 10 days before the first Eclipse of the pair, and continue through the second.

This particular Eclipse season began on May 16th, 10 days before the Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius became exact, and will end with the Full Moon on June 24th, 2021 — in other words, two weeks after the Solar Eclipse in Gemini becomes exact.

While Eclipse season is underway, allow for new templates to download; stay centered and do your best to ground from within — try using conscious breathing and conscious flexibility — and best of all, see if you can move to the “observer position” when it comes to the emotional and mental body. And remember, this won’t last forever: on June 24th, the downloads are complete 😉

Eclipses are a time for clarifying and affirming our highest path. We are bound to experience a release and recalibration of some sort — “old” codes will get deleted and new ones downloaded — and this is especially true in connection with our ability to connect and communicate, our inner dialog, our ability to listen, and our gathering and use of information. This helps us to be more aware of how we interact and what we share.

The Sun and Moon are connected to one of the Moon Nodes during an Eclipse, alternating between North and South Node Eclipses, emphasizing the evolutionary upgrades that are available to us during such times. This is the first North Node Solar Eclipse in Gemini since the Moon Nodes moved into the Gemini-Sagittarius polarity in early May of last year (2020).

North Node Eclipses help us move towards a new exploration of an energy that promotes our Soul’s evolution. They ask us to focus on the energies of the sign involved in the Eclipse (Gemini, in this case) and work with the lighter/higher frequencies of those energies as much as possible. They highlight our ability for individual and collective growth and evolution.

Eclipses are crossroads or turning points along our Soul’s Journey. They are often marked by events or situations that signify a critical shift in our lives, nudging us to either change and grow, or face greater difficulties at the next turning point. In this case, the next turning point will be on September 12th, when the Sun is in Virgo squares this month’s Solar Eclipse degree.

Solar Eclipses, in particular, often correspond to major endings and beginnings. They occur close to the same degree every 19 years, and the last time we had a North Node Solar Eclipse in that same degree and sign was on June 10th, 2002.

We are likely to experience a resonance between now and that time — “resonance”, not repetition — so think back to the Summer of 2002, and ask yourself: Were there any major endings and beginnings? What was important to me back then? If I were to take those priorities to the next level, where would that next level find me?

If you’re looking for more guidance on those questions, I would suggest taking a look at your Natal Chart — the House placement of the Eclipse will indicate which area of life is most ready to embrace new information and rise to a new level of consciousness.

Solar Eclipses are also a good time to go within and seed anything we would like to learn over the next 6 months — we’ll dig into this in more detail towards the end of this article, when we talk about setting Solar Eclipse Intentions.

One major thing to note in this New Moon/Solar Eclipse chart, is that we now have 3 planets in Retrograde motion — and one of them is the ruler of Gemini: Mercury!

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 15-25 degrees of Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo or Pisces?  If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly; this is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo, the Moon rules Cancer)

We are downloading new templates at the time of an Eclipse, and the energies are quite intense, so we want to wait until it all settles down a little before setting our intentions — that said, we definitely do not want to do this during a Moon void of course.

There are thus two best and most potent times to set your Intentions for this Solar Eclipse:

The first lasts a little over 24 hours, between 6:53am, on June 12th, and 7:16am, on June 13th. The second one runs for 15.5 hours, between 2:22pm, onJune 13th, and 6:53am on Monday, June 14th. Note that all times in this article are given in US Eastern Time — i.e., the New York time zone.

If you live in a timezone other than EDT, and converting time zones isn’t your thing, I suggest joining my Facebook Fan-page and/or following me on Twitter, as I post reminders on those platforms when it’s time to set your intentions 😉

Set powerful intentions — remember, they cover the next six months — and if possible, align them with the Gemini energy!

Super Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius — the article

On Wednesday, May 26th at 7:14am EDT, a powerful Full Moon in 5.5 degrees of Sagittarius becomes exact. This is a Total Lunar Eclipse of a SuperMoon (i.e., the Moon is closer to the Earth than normal) and as such, this Full Moon’s energy is unusually intense.

Even apart from that, there is a lot to cover with this Eclipse — it is connected to a mutable T-square, with Jupiter as the Focal Point, and it has two Stationing planets: Saturn in Aquarius & Mercury in Gemini!

If you are already a Member of my online community, you can learn more about this month’s Super Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse by clicking here to watch my video

Lunar Eclipses direct our attention to whatever needs to be integrated and balanced, both on the collective and individual levels, over a longer period of time (usually 6 months). Get ready for some big shifts in your life, especially around your relationship with your own belief structures, and around your ability to learn, remain adaptable, and use your “day-to-day mind” intelligently.

Our physical and emotional bodies strongly feel the intensity of it all, so keep in mind: Eclipses ultimately support a shift in consciousness and thus bring us closer to our Soul’s path.

This is the second Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius since the Moon Nodes moved into Gemini/Sagittarius back on May 5th, 2020 — and the Moon Nodes play a crucial role during Eclipses! Feel free to also check out my webinar on those Moon Nodes (if you haven’t seen it yet). We talk about the connection to our own birth charts… and it’s currently available at a discount!

The last Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius in the same degree as this one was on May 26th, 2002Think back to that time: What shifts in perspective happened then? What is possible now?

Let’s take a closer look at this Lunar Eclipse:

The Moon in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius (which is itself aligned with the South Node) is making an opposition to the Sun in curious, quick-witted, versatile Gemini (which is aligned in turn with the North Node).

Full Moons balance two opposing archetypes, and reconcile their Shadow sides — in this instance, Gemini deals with information, intelligence, and communication, while Sagittarius is concerned with meaning, truth, and wisdom.

The Shadow side of Gemini brings…

Because Eclipses are so powerful, they require a bigger orb than a regular Full or New Moon. I usually use a 5º orb instead of 2º… so since this Lunar Eclipse takes place in 5.5º of Sagittarius:

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 0-11 degrees of Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo, or Pisces? If so, you are more affected by this month’s powerful Super Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse. Jupiter in Pisces 2021 – 2022

On May 13th, 2021, Jupiter changes signs from freedom-loving, forward-thinking, and objective Aquarius to creative, sensitive, and intuitive Pisces. It will journey in that sign until July 28th, 2021. This is a preview of what’s to come in December of 2021, when Jupiter makes its second move into Pisces on Dec. 28th, this time until May 11th, 2022. There will also be a third pass through Pisces from Oct. 28th until Dec. 20th, 2022.

In our individual natal chart, the position of Jupiter reveals how we express generosity and tolerance, and how we go about trusting others and improving our lives. Where do you look for wisdom and understanding? Where do you need movement and spaciousness? Where do you feel optimistic and have faith that things will turn out ok?

Jupiter represents the principle of expansion — it operates like a magnifying glass. It’s been in Aquarius since Dec. 2020, where that magnifying glass was looking at creating more opportunity for (and through) communities or networks — whether online or local.

The planet urges an expansion of sustainable, long-term visions, and a greater understanding of our potential for a better future — for example, it helped us develop faith in our humanitarian goals, or highlighted a lack of faith in those things. It also showed us more clearly where our alliances lie on a personal and collective level.

Aquarius values both equality and diversity, so we’ve been getting to see what we believe to be true about our various communities or affiliations, and the collective vision for the future — and what stories we’ve been telling ourselves about the same — we also gained new perspectives on our collective experience and our networks of like-minded people.

Jupiter in Pisces brings the magnifying lens to bear on our inner divinity, our ability to receive, our connection to intuition, and our desire to contribute to life from a heart-centered place. The opportunity now is to bring the enthusiastic energies of Jupiter to the unification of all dualities — becoming more fully aware of the oneness of all.

Jupiter in Pisces also promotes a greater understanding of our potential for expanding the union within. This exists always, and we can tap into it at any time — it helps us to have faith in our ability to transcend falsehoods and illusions by tapping directly into Source.

Jupiter is in Pisces until July 28th, 2021, and then again later from Dec. 2021, until May 2022, and then one last time from Oct. 28th until Dec. 20th, 2022. During these three periods, we attract the most good fortune when we are tender, devoted, compassionate, kind, look out for the underdog, and give generously. We value compassion and charity, and are motivated by a universal vision; peaceful personal philosophies and faith in the goodness of life will serve us best.

We are more open to spiritual or creative endeavors. Possibilities for a great heart-expansion and recognition of our underlying interconnectedness are very strong; we are each particularly invited to go within and explore this on a very private or personal level.

We also have an inborn faith in the Universe. Solitude, working alone, and meditation can all bring us great pleasure and a sense of rejuvenation. We are merciful and generous — often anonymously. Jupiter in Pisces helps to create…

Where does Jupiter-in-Pisces fall in your own birth chart? What aspects does it make during this transit? How does a wise response to one house support a more fruitful response to the next? What outward opportunities arise as Jupiter interacts with any of your personal planets? Where will you experience a major expansion until Dec. 2022? Where are you ready to open your heart and trust the larger play of life?

If you’d like more insight into those questions, we will cover Jupiter’s move through Pisces in more detail in the next Forecasting Forum (live on May 28th) — so if you want to know how this planetary movement is impacting you personally, feel free to join us live, or register for the mp4-video-presentation of the live event.

New Moon in Taurus — the article

On May 11th, at 3pm EDT, the New Moon becomes exact in 21 degrees of Taurus. This marks the beginning of a new Moon cycle. Click here to watch my video on the subject.

As best as you can, get really quiet 24 hours before and after the New Moon becomes exact, and see if you are getting any new messages or ideas. If you are, harvest them, and fold them into any intentions you set for the new Moon cycle — I will talk about this process later in the forecast, and I’ll even give you the very best and most potent times for doing so 🙂

This New Moon sextiles Neptune in Pisces and trines an exalted Pluto in Capricorn. Saturn & Jupiter in Aquarius are also exalted at the time of this New Moon (for different reasons) and we have many more aspects to talk about, all connected either to Mercury in Gemini, or Mars in Cancer.

So, as you can see, lots going on in this New Moon chart, all painting a complex picture with a focus on like-minded people, community, and long-term goals. There is also an opportunity for healing and connecting to our inner sense of knowing.

Before we go into all of these aspects in more detail, however, let’s first talk about the sign of Taurus:

This New Moon in steady, peaceful Taurus places more focus on our interactions with the physical world — you could say that we seek a healthier relationship with “matter”, one in which we are neither too attached, nor too disconnected from things on the physical plane — for example, our bodies, resources (such as money), and the planet we co-inhabit.

We are powerfully reminded to take the time to honor the only planet we can currently live on — The Earth — and honor its resources and beauty.

In much the same spirit, we are invited also to honor ourselves, our bodies, and our talents. This is a good time for reevaluating our relationship to money and possessions, and for discovering what truly makes us happy and fulfilled, so check in with yourself: What came to mind when you read this?

Let’s talk about some of the aspects in this New Moon chart:

Do you have your Ascendant or any personal planets in 19-23 degrees of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo or Aquarius? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle. This is best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact — and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase.

This month, the best and most potent time to set intentions would therefore be between 3pm on May 11th and 3pm on May 13th. The only exception would be a 20-minute period in the morning of May 12th — there will be a brief Moon VoC between 8:23am and 8:43am. All of the above times are given in US East Coast-time.

For more info on setting New Moon Intentions click here.

If you live in a timezone other than EDT (US East Coast-time), I recommend you join my Facebook Fan-page or follow me on twitter as I post reminders on May 11th, 12th and 13th, to let you know when it is the most potent time to set your intentions 😉

Super Full Moon in Scorpio — the article

On April 26th, at 11:32pm EDT, the Full Moon in 7 degrees of Scorpio becomes exact. The Moon in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio opposes the Sun in steady, peaceful Taurus.

This Full Moon has heightened effects on us for two important reasons: first, it is a “Super Full Moon” (i.e. the Moon is at its closest distance to the Earth) — in fact, it is the first of three Super Full Moons in a row! Secondly, Pluto, the ruler of Scorpio, is exalted, preparing to go Retrograde at 26.5º of Capricorn — less than 24 hours after the Full Moon becomes exact! All of this could increase emotional volatility but could also facilitate larger shifts in consciousness.

There are lots of other aspects worth mentioning in this Full Moon chart: a Stellium in Taurus, a T-Square with Saturn as the Focus point — and we will address all of them in a moment. If you are currently a Member of my online community, feel free to also watch my Super Full Moon video here.

I should also mention that we will focus on Pluto’s powerful involvement with this month’s Super Full Moon chart, as it relates to our own individual birth charts, in our upcoming Forecasting Forum: click here for more info and to register.

Also, non-Members can get access to this month’s Super Full Moon video, when registering for April 23rd’s Forecasting Forum.

This Full Moon shows us how far we have come, as well as what we must still release or transform, if we are to manifest what was begun at the time of the New Moon that occurred on April 11th.

For the next two weeks, we seek the balance and integration of two polarities, and are aware that something needs to be brought into alignment. The balance in question is between our physical attachments, aversions, and connections — symbolized by Taurus— and our emotional attachments, aversions, and connections (Scorpio).

The time of the Full Moon is always more extroverted and emotional. This particular one invites us to let go of fears or disempowering behaviors, and thereby break through to the next level of our evolution, individually and collectively.

So, here’s this Full Moon’s central question: As a society, are we living in alignment with our values, with what makes us happy and satisfied? How about as individuals? Do we feel empowered and emotionally fulfilled? Are there any fears in our way to achieving progress? Or any rigid thought processes?

All right, let’s look at the signs involved in this polarity,…

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 5-9 degrees of Scorpio, Taurus, Leo, or Aquarius? If so, you are more affected by this month’s Full Moon. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

New Moon in Aries — the article

On April 11th, at 10:31pm EDT, the Moon aligns with the Sun in 22.5 degrees of Aries. This marks the beginning of a new Moon cycle; anything brand-new started in the next two weeks has the chance to get off to a great start. Click here to watch my New Moon video on the subject.

This New Moon chart has 4 out of 10 planets in Aries, as well as 2 asteroids. This Stellium in Aries consists of Chiron, Mercury, Ceres, the Moon, the Sun, and Venus. This asks us to show courage from our heart, to be unafraid to embrace who we are, and inspire others by forging our own path.

Ask yourself: Where am I being called to take a risk and try something new? What feeds my passions? What is the next step toward becoming an increasingly healthy, strong, curious, and flexible person? One who is not afraid to pursue personal goals and desires? One who speaks up for what needs healing in our society around the traditional masculine?

One of the many ways we can demonstrate courage is to allow ourselves to be in the condition of “not knowing” or “beginner’s mind”; at these times, we are more present, and creative potential is heightened. Ask yourself: Where could I bring a “beginner’s mind” to bear? Where do I need to let go of needing to know everything before I begin?

About this Stellium: let’s start with the close alignment between the New Moon and Venus in Aries.

We are invited to actively connect with others and do something enjoyable. Ask yourself: What if I got in touch with my passion for life, just for these next 28 days? What if I could inspire others just by being myself?

The New Moon/Venus alignment in Aries squares Pluto in Capricorn, emphasizing that we are at a turning point…

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 20-25 degrees of either Aries, Libra, Capricorn or Cancer? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

The New Moon is also the best time to set some intentions for this month’s Moon cycle — this process is especially powerful with the New Moon in Aries — and as always, this is best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact (and definitely not during a Moon void of course)

So this month, we have two opportune times frames for setting intentions. The first one lasts 9.5 hours, between 10:31pm on April 11th and 8:06am on April 12th; and the second one lasts 33 hours from 1:44pm on April 12th until 10:31pm on April 13th (as always, all times are EDT). For more info on setting New Moon Intentions click here.

If you live in a timezone other than EDT (US East Coast-time), I recommend you join my Facebook Fan-page or follow me on twitter as I post reminders on April 11th in the late evening, on April 12th in the afternoon/evening, and on April 13th throughout the day, to let you know when it is the most potent time to set your intentions 😉
