Full Moon in Pisces – the article

On Monday Sept. 20th, at 7:55pm EDT, the Sun opposes the Moon in 28 degrees of Pisces. The Moon in creative, free-flowing Pisces makes an opposition to the Sun in detail-oriented, practical Virgo — the entrance of the Moon into Pisces on Sept. 18th starts the energetic build up towards this Full Moon — if you are already a Member of my online community, you may also want to watch my video on the subject: click here.

On Sept. 20th, we can ask ourselves: How far have we come since the Sept. 6th New Moon? What can we see now that was not apparent then?

This Full Moon has six planets in Retrograde motion: Jupiter, Saturn, Chiron, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. This indicates a strong need for inner processing and aligning ourselves with those planetary energies from within. It’s a necessary phase of re-evaluation, restructuring, and letting go.

Things appear to slow down during a retrograde passage, as internal shifts must happen before we can progress; once a planet turns direct, we feel ready to move forward in that area of life.

Three of the six planets I mentioned above will start to go direct in October (Jupiter, Saturn & Pluto), and at that point, we will get the opportunity to bring all of our inner discoveries from the previous 4-5 months to the outside world.

For a more in-depth interpretation of your own chart, in connection with Saturn’s & Pluto’s Station Direct phases, join us live for the Forum on Sept. 17thor get the mp4-video presentation of the live event. Either way, register here now (unless you are already a Star Member — in that case, you are automatically registered).

And if you are reading this on or after Sept. 17th, feel free to get the mp4-video presentation of this webinar here.

With this Full Moon, we are also dealing with two stationing planets — Mercury & Pluto — Mercury in Libra is preparing to start its 3-week Retrograde phase on Sept. 27th, and is therefore exalted at the time of the Full Moon; Pluto in Capricorn is preparing to end its 5-months Retrograde phase on Oct. 6th, and will be exalted until Oct. 21st.

We are getting ready to retrace our steps (Mercury in Libra), and are seeking empowerment when it comes to our long-term goals or social structures (Pluto in Capricorn).

Now let’s first address this Full Moon’s polarities: The Virgo/Pisces polarity has to do with our ability to connect the head with the heart, logic with intuition, matter with spirit. So the question is: how do we integrate Pisces and Virgo?

This may seem a challenging question, given Virgo’s leaning toward…

This may seem a challenging question, given Virgo’s leaning toward detailed, analytical understanding, in contrast with Pisces‘ call to open our hearts and allow for all (including things that seem paradoxical to the mind). In fact, on an energetic level there is no separation, everything is interconnected — we need both left- and right-brain (the logical and the creative).

Ask yourself: What if nothing and no one were separate? Appearing to be different, yes, but not separate…

Virgo (which is connected to our mental processes) analyzes, whereas Pisces (which is connected to our intuitive processes) feels, senses.

Virgo seeks physical wholeness, while Pisces reminds us of a greater wholeness — a spiritual wholeness — our interconnectedness with all of life, the allowing of all the mysteries of life.

To be at its best, Virgo aims for practical applications and to be of service, while Pisces learns to listen to inner/intuitive guidance above all else, using its imagination to bring love and light into this world, to sprinkle mystery fairy dust, and to create Paradise on Earth.

When these two archetypes are balanced within, we discern without judgment, serve with an open heart, and improve our daily lives without getting hung up on timing or perfectionism, bringing love and compassion to all of life’s apparent curveballs.

That said, let’s also talk about the shadow side of those signs, as we do with all Full Moons:

Virgo’s shadow side is self-deprecation and judgment; the latter creates separation from others and a split within ourselves. Ask yourself:  What if I did 5% less “perfection” and 5% more “process improvement”? What if it were ok to not know everything 100%? Could I be of service to others while also improving my own understanding of things?

How might “making mistakes” be beneficial to me? What if I celebrated “mistakes” as stepping stones to a better life?

Simply observe: Does my inner dialog observe and discern what is productive vs. what is unproductive (i.e. what works or what doesn’t)? Or do I label things as “good or bad”, “right or wrong”?

You could say that Pisces is an antidote to judgment: in its lightest expression, it understands that we are all souls in various states of development, with different paths in the world — we are all love at our core, and everything is ultimately an expression or variation of love.

The shadow side of Pisces is a lack of boundaries, getting lost in illusions, fantasies, and escapism of various sorts (this stems from being highly sensitive, feeling everything, and becoming overwhelmed).

As you may have guessed, the remedy for the Pisces shadow lies in the lighter vibrations of Virgo; these include the ability to focus on what works (versus what doesn’t), to make practical choices, and to make the best use of our daily engagements while taking care of our physical wellbeing.

When the Pisces– and Virgo-energies are integrated, we marry a clear, observant mind with a compassionate and loving heart — a mind in partnership with our intuitive sensing!

Ask yourself: What tools might shift my view of reality from either/or, to both/and? From the mind-activity of “wanting to understand” and “know” to the heart-activity of true understanding?

Let’s look at some of the aspects of this Full Moon:

The Moon in Pisces aligns with Neptune (which is the ruler of Pisces, and has been in its own sign since April 2011). This is a call to extend compassion, acceptance, or forgiveness to family, the “mother archetype”, home, and our past in general (collectively and individually speaking). Unconditional love for our feeling-body and our responses towards the world is also very helpful right now.

We may feel more sensitive — more tuned-in to other people’s feelings or suffering — and this gives us the opportunity to experience the full range of all feelings as they arise, and to sense our interconnectedness with everything around us.

Ask yourself: What would it look like if I allowed the flow of all feelings? If I allowed my heart to soften? Could I be 5% more open to the beauty all around me? How might nature be my teacher in all of this?

If I start to feel overwhelmed by what I am feeling or experiencing, could I simply give myself 10 minutes to connect to nature in some way?

Spiritual practices are also wonderful here, of course (such as meditation, breathing exercises, mindfulness exercises, etc.); the same is true of spiritual/energetic healing modalities like Reiki, “Access Consciousness Bars”, shiatsu, acupuncture, etc. These can all help us tap into the higher vibrations of Pisces (and the Neptune-energy as well).

What else can help us experience our connection to “the all”? The creative flow of dance, singing, music, sound, etc. — and of course, positive emotions such as love, gratitude, and compassion.

The Moon/Neptune alignment in Pisces also sextiles Pluto in Capricorn, and the Sun in Virgo makes a Trine to Pluto.

Let’s start with the Sextile to Pluto in Capricorn: Surrendering our fears about our position in the world and our achievements gets a little easier; we have the opportunity to be guided by inspiration, and feel empowered about a project or task that might serve us long-term, or as a society.

Ask yourself: How might a compassionate heart help me surrender my fears in connection to past trauma or disempowerment? What has been in my face lately when it comes to such fears?

Remember Pluto is stationing at the time of the Full Moon. Again, we will investigate Pluto’s Station phase in more detail during our upcoming Forecasting Forum on Sept. 17th, feel free to join us for that deeper investigation into your own chart. And if you are reading this on or after Sept. 17th, feel free to get the mp4-video presentation of this webinar here.

Is it at least possible that combining my imagination with trust in divine guidance would support me in effortlessly reaching my deep desire for an empowered experience in society?

The Sun’s Trine to Pluto supports clarity around whatever fears, behaviors, or destructive patterns have been holding us back. Ask yourself: How could my discernment and practical decision-making abilities help me manifest a passionate experience of my long-term goals? What empowers me that is sustainable and healthy?

Since the Sun opposes the Moon and Neptune in Pisces, we feel a heightened sense of empathy, creativity, and intuitive connections, over the next two weeks.

The Sun in Virgo also aligns with Mars in Libra. You might ask, how is this possible, if they are not even in the same sign? Since the Sun is in a late degree of Virgo and Mars is in an early degree of Libra, they are less than 6 degrees apart, so even though they are no longer in the same sign, they are still influencing each other.

This alignment gives us the courage to look at what isn’t working and actively collaborate with others to improve our current daily experiences. It also might stir up impatience and frustration when things don’t line up right away. Should this show up for you in the next two weeks, ask yourself: What might shift if I trusted the timing of everything that is currently unfolding?

Mars in Libra trines Saturn in Aquarius and the North Node in Gemini, creating yet another Grand Trine in the Air element (we also experienced this in the last couple of Lunations). Collaboration and conscious connection comes more easily.

Ask yourself: Who might welcome an open-minded, socially responsible, balanced and sustainable collaboration? Where can I build mutual respect with others?

Mercury (the ruler of Virgo) is currently in Libra, and exalted. Mercury squares Pluto in Capricorn (also exalted), and trines Jupiter in Aquarius. Let’s unpack that:

Mercury’s Square to Pluto in Capricorn creates some tension in our lives. We may feel anxious or stressed by one or more situations or interactions concerning one-on-one relationships.

We are being asked to find creative solutions and be completely honest with ourselves and others. The best way to achieve this is by the continual practice of self-care and self-nurturing. Mercury and Pluto are both exalted at the time of this Full Moon, so this aspect will be quite strong!

Ask yourself: How can I empower myself and others 5% more today? How might an increase of Self-care support this desire for empowered conversations and connections? What needs to be said? What doesn’t?

If I observe an “all-or-nothing” attitude in myself, could I give myself permission to relax into the “love-energy” that always resides inside of me? Could I acknowledge first and then release any fears or concerns connected to achievements or relationships?

Mercury’s Trine to Jupiter in Aquarius makes for quite a “heady” and idealistic experience — it’s all about thinking big and innovating. This harmonious connection strengthens our ability to connect and collaborate with others.

Ask yourself: What are my expectations or attitudes towards the collective experience? What new vantage point might show me how to reinvent myself and my vision for “my people”?

Let’s also talk about: Venus in Scorpio making a Square to Saturn in Aquarius, making a Quincunx to Chiron in Aries, and opposing Uranus in Taurus, at the time of the Full Moon. These are all challenging aspects that could potentially create triggers, blockages, or some unexpected pulling away from others.

Venus’ Square to Saturn in Aquarius has us be more cautious when it comes to relationships and finances now. The key is to approach both from a place of deeper emotional authenticity and maturity rather than from attachment to a certain outcome.

Ask yourself: How might slowing down and taking it one step at a time be beneficial for my relationships and my finances right now? What if doing just that would strengthen my approach and make for better results?

Venus’ Quincunx to Chiron in Aries could make social interactions somewhat awkward. We may also have a hard time making financial decisions that feel satisfactory. As best as you can, bring a good dose of compassion and understanding to yourself and embrace your own humanity as much as possible… and remember: like everything else, this is only temporary 😉

Ask yourself: Could I give myself permission to have a human experience? To feel what I am feeling? To be compassionate toward myself and others when feelings come up? To go deeper on my healing journey towards an emotionally authentic place?

Venus’ Opposition to Uranus in Taurus calls us to balance “intimate togetherness” with “having our physical space”.

Ask yourself:  If there were a way to fully honor my individuality in my intimate relationships, without needing to pull or push away… what might that way be? Could I shake things up a little, without being oppositional or offensive?

To sum it all up: This Full Moon teaches us about opening our hearts, and places an emphasis on improving all levels of our being. It is important to remember that Spirit is never separate from matter. One informs the other. We are all eternal, spiritual beings, learning how to be human.

Ask yourself: If I knew in advance that all will work out for the best, what would I be willing to endure? What actions would I take? Would doing my own research give me information that is in alignment with my own experience of things? What conclusions might I come to if I trusted my sixth sense?

Over the next two weeks, we are invited to allow for the flow of things and let go of destructive attachments and connections.

Ask yourself: Do I have fears or concerns that keep me from making progress and experiencing inner peace in my life?

Most of all, this Full Moon and the coming months urge us to be spiritual warriors, to consciously face our fears, and know that the ultimate challenge lies within. Fear negatively impacts our decision making capacity and makes us highly susceptible to manipulation and control.

For the next two weeks, ask yourself: How can I best discern between healthy fears, which require an immediate response to avoid harm, and unhealthy fears, which stem from a limited perception of who I am?

As best as you can, stay grounded in love, not fear. Stay curious and open-minded. Be direct without offending others. We are all on an extraordinary, unprecedented evolutionary journey; the faster things appear to happen, the more important it is to slow down.

Ask yourself: What if the greatest gift I could give myself over the next two weeks was the liberation of my heart-energies?

What might change for me if I approached everything from a neutral place, without judgment, “right or wrong”, personal opinions? What if I simply observed, like a scientist?

What if I allowed “the observed” to be exactly what it is, without needing to change it? Maybe even giving it some space?

Remember: Each “now moment” is a “new moment” — and each new moment empowers us to make new choices, if we choose to do so 😉

New Moon in Virgo — the article

On Sept. 6th at 8:52pm EDTthe Moon aligns with the Sun in 14.5 degrees of Virgo, marking the beginning of a new Moon cycle. We started to feel the effects of this New Moon the moment the Moon entered Virgo on Sunday evening (Sept. 5th). Feel free to watch my New Moon video on the subject.

This New Moon has an abundance of planets in Earth & Air signs: the Moon, the Sun, and Mars in Virgo, Pluto in Capricorn, and Uranus in Taurus (all planets in Earth Signs) and then Mercury and Venus in Libra, Saturn and Jupiter in Aquarius, and the North Node in Gemini (Air Signs).

The element of Earth deals with the physical reality of things and usually requires a practical approach. The Air element deals with the mental level; usually we have the ability to look at what’s ideal and how we might create it through connection with others. This means that our focus will be on those things for the next four weeks — on both the individual and collective levels.

I will talk more about this in connection with the planetary aspects of this New Moon chart, but first let’s look at the Virgo energy of this New Moon:

Virgo provides an opportunity to learn about being of service — and what it might mean to strengthen our focus on improving our daily routines — getting organized, for example — and taking care of health matters.

A great way to step into the higher vibrations of Virgo: recognize, as best as you can, that humility, self-improvement, and being of service bring you closer to your inner divinity and your Soul’s path.

Ask yourself: How could I, as a Spirit-being, operate more efficiently in the physical world? Might tweaking my daily routines help me function better in the physical world? Might that also support me in being of service? What benefits might I reap if I could better discern between the essential and the redundant?

This New Moon cycle will thus be a great time to begin…

This New Moon cycle will thus be a great time to begin new projects that demand attention to detail, list-making, and taking pride in “small” accomplishments. We might start a new health regimen, perhaps by paying close attention to our diet; we could also set up specific routines that help us manage our lives in constructive and mindful ways.

This cycle is all about handling the nitty-gritty details of our day-to-day life in an organized, step-by-step fashion, so we can free our minds of clutter. Where could you use more open space?

Things to watch out for: sweating the details, worrying, and being extra-critical of ourselves and others when something doesn’t get done “right”.

Since the New Moon in Virgo trines Uranus in Taurus, we can ask ourselves: How might new, fresh, and practical ideas create progress in my daily routines? Where might I find something unexpected that changed my relationship to health and wellbeing?

We are able to better connect to anything that requires attention to detail over the next four weeks (until Oct. 6th). We might also perhaps implement revolutionary health routines or other systems in our day-to-day life that support our values and make life more enjoyable.

What might this look like for you?

The New Moon also makes a wide conjunction with Mars in Virgo. This might stir up impatience and frustration when things don’t line up perfectly right away. Should this show up for you in the next four weeks, ask yourself: What might shift if I trusted in the timing of everything that is currently unfolding? What if acceptance of “what is” was key to manifesting my goals? What if the same was true of taking care of my daily routines? Or of my health routines?

This Moon-Sun-Mars combo also makes an Opposition to Neptune in Pisces and a Trine to Pluto in Capricorn.

The Opposition to Neptune invites us to find a balance between the head and the heart. It could also bring up feelings of being ungrounded, overwhelmed or tired. Ask yourself: Am I feeling overwhelmed? Do I get easily distracted? Do I zone out?

If the answer to any of those is “yes”, as best as you can, center yourself in the here and now. Allow yourself to be present, listen to what’s inside of you (beyond the mind), trust your intuitive Self.

Ask yourself: Could I simply tune in for a moment and see if I need to take a break (or at least slow down a little)? Could I be 5% more compassionate and kind to myself and others?

The Trine to Pluto supports clarity around what fears, behaviors, or destructive patterns have been holding us back. Ask yourself: How could my discernment and practical decision-making abilities help me manifest my long-term goals? What if “simplifying my life” supported a deeper, more passionate and authentic connection to my long-term goals?

Mars also quincunxes Jupiter in Aquarius; this calls for some inner adjustments, and we are invited to develop an inner awareness around two very different urges: on the one hand, the desire to engage in our daily routines, observing what works and what doesn’t, making practical improvements accordingly — and on the other, the need to explore our expectations and assumptions around social connections and networks, and our vision for the future.

Ask yourself: Am I being too impulsive or impatient? Restless? What might it look like if I focused my energies towards being of Service? Am I over-analyzing things? Could I allow for experimentation? Is doing more, necessarily better? How might “doing too much” impact my well-being?

Last but not least, the New Moon also squares the current Moon Nodes in Gemini/Sagittarius, which means we are collectively at a crossroads: We are being asked to take a 90-degree turn, to gain a new perspective, to explore different avenues leading to different outcomes, especially in regards to our health routines and daily well-being.

Ask yourself: What beliefs are holding me back from living a healthy life? What do I need to implement in my daily routines so I can be healthy and happy? Could I be open to shifting my perception? Where have I made assumptions or placed blame?

What if I combined a positive attitude towards experimentation with the ability to remain curious? What if I didn’t have all the answers?

Notice when your busy mind distracts you from being discerning. Notice when your beliefs or assumptions take you on a detour away from improving your daily routines. Notice when “being right” becomes more important than “being discerning” or ” being of service”.

When you notice any of the above, ask yourself: Might a moment of silence bring me back to what works in my daily routines? Might it allow me to make better choices for myself? Might it support me in being discerning instead of judgmental?

Mercury, the ruler of Virgo, enters its pre-Shadow phase only 5 hours before the New Moon becomes exact. This means that for most of this Lunation (i.e. the next 4 weeks) we are traveling through territory that will be of significance even past this Moon phase — as we need to revisit certain things during Mercury’s Retrograde phase (Sept. 27th – Oct. 18th).

To find out how you can best use Mercury’s pre-Shadow phase to your own advantage, watch “Mercury’s pre-Shadow phase, Sept. 2021 to see how this relates to your own Birth Chart…

Mercury, currently in Libra, makes an opposition to Chiron in Aries, and forms a Grand Air Trine with Saturn in Aquarius and the North Node in Gemini. Let’s unpack that:

Mercury’s Opposition to Chiron indicates that we need to find a balance between two very different energies — on the one hand, taking a compassionate approach towards our “persona” and our personal goals — and on the other hand, our need to communicate and collaborate with others in a harmonious way.

Ask yourself: How might we be able to support each other on our individual healing journeys? What if taking a compassionate approach towards myself and my goals actually made for more harmonious conversations with others?

Could I allow others to share something with me that might contribute to a more holistic exploration of my “persona”? How about visa versa? Could I share something with others that might contribute to a more holistic exploration of someone else’s persona, identity or personal goals?

The Grand Air Trine gives us the opportunity to raise our mental vibrations, making it easier to connect with others while staying open-minded, and also helping us stay committed to long-term partnerships or friendships.

Collaboration comes more easily, as long as we remember to be aware, and release any dogmatic or intolerant conditioning from the past. Ask yourself: What collaborations will best serve me over the next four weeks? Where can I build mutual respect with others? Who might welcome a dialogue that is open-minded and with the potential for long-term sustainability?

Venus in Libra makes some important aspects as well: she squares Pluto in Capricorn and trines Jupiter in Aquarius.

Venus’ Square to Pluto indicates that we really want to collaborate with others and play nice, but also feel a deep urge to be authentic and truthful about what we want to build and focus on long-term; we may have to make some changes or adjustments to some long-term goals — and perhaps also some relationships.

As best as you can, be open to receiving feedback from others, while remaining connected to what empowers you from within! If you feel pressured into doing something, or feel a power-struggle building, get as centered and grounded as you’re able, then use your creativity to craft win/win situations.

If you encounter power-struggles, ask yourself: What if this were a major growth opportunity in disguise? Could I let go of wanting to control another person’s experience so I can feel better myself? Could I let go of wanting to be controlled?

When fears or struggles arise, could I trust in the power of love and an open heart (or surrendering to a higher power)?

Remember: Fear is not Truth, it is a feeling based on memory or on “worst case scenarios” (which are speculations about possible futures, not truth).

Venus’ Trine to Jupiter brings a good dose of optimism, faith and a sense of the “bigger picture” to our interactions with like-minded people and also to our one-on-one relationships. We tend to relate to others in a positive (even inspiring) manner; as you can imagine, it is thus much easier to make social contacts.

Ask yourself: What opportunities are opening up to me at this time? What connections might bring about expansion? What if I asked “who” as well as “how”?

To sum it all up: the message of this New Moon is loud and clear: It spotlights how less can be more (clutter, “busyness”, stress), and how this translates into a more satisfying and meaningful life, long-term.

Be Mindful. Dedicate yourself to what’s important with compassion in your heart! Remember that perfection is not a goal, it is a journey!

Ask yourself: What if I favored progress over perfection? How could I release “old” dogmas? What if I discerned what’s truly important to me and focused there for improvements? How do I communicate my thoughts and findings to others?

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 12-17 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle. Intentions are best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact — and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase.

So this month, the best and most potent time to set intentions would be between 8:52pm (on Sept. 6th) and 3:24pm (on Sept. 7th); and then again from 11:20pm on Sept. 7th until 8:52pm on Sept. 8th (New York-time).

Full Moon in Virgo — the article

The next Full Moon will be “exact” on Feb. 27th, at 3:17am EST in almost 9 degrees of Virgo — and by then, we are halfway through the Lunar cycle that started on Feb. 11th.

Take a look at the New Moon Intentions you set around Feb. 11th, and ask yourself: How far have I come with those Intentions? If I’m not where I’d like to be with them, what new course might bring me closer to my goals?

If you are already a Member of my online community, feel free to also watch my video for more.

A Full Moon is always an opposition between the Moon and the Sun; during these oppositions, we seek balance, alignment and integration around two perspectives that seem like polar opposites. Very often, we experience this through our interactions with others, and since these interactions are also the pathway to resolution, relationships of all kinds are highlighted during Full Moons.

In this case, the Moon in Virgo opposes the Sun in Pisces. Virgo seeks personal and practical wholeness, while Pisces reminds us of a transcendent wholeness — our divinity and interconnectedness with all of life.

Virgo benefits from apprenticeship, whereas Pisces learns to trust inner guidance above all else — when balanced, we are able to discern without judgment, serve without obligation, and love all of creation, including ourselves.

Virgo analyzes, Pisces feels: We are invited to discern what’s real, so we can make healthier choices.

To find the balance between Virgo and Pisces, ask yourself…

To find the balance between Virgo and Pisces, ask yourself: Where do I need to be more selective? More accepting? What if my inner knowingness could inform practical choices? What if “choosing” was already (and always) in alignment with divine timing?

What results might I get in my daily life if I dissolved my fears, judgments, and painful memories? Even if I could only do that as best as I can? What might a daily practice of self-forgiveness, acceptance, and learning to love myself do for me? What else might bring more inner peace?

All Full Moons bring awareness to a polarity and this illuminates the shadow sides of both signs:

Virgo‘s shadow side is “Judgement”; this creates separation from others and a split within ourselves, closing our heart and limiting our ability to learn. It keeps us stuck in duality, defending our position or attacking others. it’s what is showing up when we label things as “good or bad”, rather than seeing them in terms of “useful or unproductive”.

Drawing on the higher vibrations of Pisces helps us likewise connect with the higher vibration of Virgo… Pisces‘s best qualities are compassion, intuitiveness, open-heartedness, inspirational creativity and imagination; at its best, Pisces understands that we are all souls in various states of development, doing the best we can.

The shadow side of Pisces is ambiguity, escapism, helplessness or victimization, and poor or missing boundaries. And just as the converse is true, the best qualities of Virgo can move us back into the higher vibration of Pisces — qualities like the ability to choose wisely and to objectively discern what works and what doesn’t.

When both sides are well-integrated, we possess acuity of mind, united with the wisdom of our heart and the guidance of our intuition.

Ask yourself: What single step could I take right here and now, if I were setting out to employ 5% more self-compassion, unconditional love, and selfless service?

What if there were synergies between my emotional, intuitive understanding, and my rational, scientific understanding? Do I really have to choose between scientific facts & intuitive knowingness? What if I could have both?

For the next two weeks, Virgo asks us to become aware of the clutter that is distracting us from our priorities, so ask yourself: What in my current daily life is nourishing? And what might be toxic? Where are things piling up? How can I make healthier choices?

Let’s talk about what’s important in this particular Full Moon chart:

The Moon in Virgo trines Uranus in Taurus; quincunxes Chiron in Aries & Saturn in Aquarius (creating a Yod with the Moon as the Focal point); and opposes the Sun/Venus alignment in Pisces. Let’s unwrap all of that:

The Trine takes place in Virgo and Taurus, which are both Earth signs, so it’s easier to connect with our body and what we value, while an increased ability to discern “what’s what” can support us, should we be looking to make some changes in our physical world that further our physical, emotional, and mental well-being (in other words: wholeness).

This combo thus creates a “mutual support system” when it comes to manifesting something real that fits with our newfound values. It provides not only a flow of practical approaches, but also a wonderful opportunity to create more freedom in our current experience, along with an ability to do things differently and better.

Ask yourself: How could attention to detail help me be more discerning about how I connect to my body? What might open up if I implemented health routines or other systems that support my physical, emotional, and mental well-being?

What works for me in my daily routines? What doesn’t? How might flexibility help me implement new daily routines?

Now let’s talk about the Yod that involves Saturn & Chiron, making the Moon in Virgo the Focal point: we are asked to become more aware of our need for improved health systems and routines. We are invited to distinguish the essential from the extraneous — i.e. to simplify and improve our relationship to health, wholeness, and well-being.

Rather than wasting time or energy on self-deprecation or disparagement of others, we are invited to take a closer look at what works and what doesn’t, both individually and collectively.

For the next two weeks, ask yourself: What might change for me if I approached everything from a neutral place, with no judgment, “right or wrong”, personal opinions? What if I simply observed, like a scientist? As if it was the first time I had ever laid eyes on what I am observing?

What if I allowed “the observed” to be exactly what it is, without needing to change it? Maybe even giving it some space?

We are also invited to acknowledge the more denser vibration of this Moon placement.

Ask yourself: Could I allow myself to notice when I am defending, justifying, shaming, or judging myself or others? Am I simply staying busy to avoid feeling unworthy? What if “being good” was not the goal? What if “becoming whole” was? What would that look like?

Could I bring 5% more awareness towards my physical and mental well-being? How could I be of service to others while taking care of my own emotional well-being? What physical (or mental) symptoms am I experiencing that need my attention and love? What does “progress not perfection” look like for me?

The Moon’s opposition to the Sun/Venus alignment in Pisces supports this Yod, which is asking us to bring more awareness for our interconnectedness with others, to our daily routines, along with a healthy balance between head and heart, science and intuition, discernment and compassion.

Ask yourself: Could I allow myself to release my fears and bless everyone I come into contact with? Could I lower my worry level 5% every day? Is it at least possible that this would strengthen my immunity — and therefore my physical and mental health? Is it at least possible that this would also enhance my vibrational energy body?

If you are experiencing moments of loneliness, helplessness or separation, ask yourself this: If I temporarily set aside memory, and just for the moment stayed out of concepts and imaginary futures — just looking here and now in this moment, can I find the one that is truly alone? Can I find the one that is helpless? That is separate?

What if connecting to my heart and higher Self could protect me? What if that connection could empower me to create a future that I truly want to “live into”? One in which I thrive? One in which everyone around me does too?

Mercury (the ruler of Virgo) is still in Aquarius (moving through its post-Shadow phase), and is sandwiched between Jupiter and Saturn.

This makes for quite a “heady” experience — it’s all about thinking big and innovating. This connection strengthens our ability to make realistic decisions concerning our need for progress and collaboration. We are more able to demonstrate integrity and maturity when planning anything long-term.

Ask yourself: What are my expectations or attitudes towards the collective experience? What new vantage point might show me how to realistically implement my vision for myself and “my people”?

As Mercury will no longer be Retrograde from Feb. 20th onwards, all planets will be moving in direct motion until April 27th, signaling that we have almost 9 weeks to make some major moves forward in our lives.

Ask yourself: What steps (whether large or small) might move me forward on my evolutionary path? How might a balance between “doing” and “being” support me on this path? What about “thinking” & “feeling”? Discernment & acceptance? Where might integrating head and heart lead me?

Just as they were two weeks ago, Saturn and Uranus are still squaring each other; since the New Moon they’ve had their first exact Square of the Year (on Feb. 17th). We will feel the effects of this Square until July 18th, and it is one of three this year (this one in February, then in June and December).

Both individually and collectively, this aspect asks us to stretch a little (or a lot) — best not to expect much of anything… except the unexpected!

As best as you can, embrace this, rather than fear it — see it as opening possibilities for tremendous progress, long-term changes in social interactions, more beneficial relationships to the planet and our physical and material worlds.

Saturn in Aquarius directs our focus towards realistic progress with technologies, inventions, and long-term visions for the collective. Uranus in Taurus, on the other hand, is prodding us to get back to the basics — to what really matters, is ecologically sustainable and indeed best for all living beings.

Given this, ask yourself: What does my body require before I can think about connecting with others? Where am I feeling a need for more spaciousness? What does my physical reality require before I can think about what to create for the future? Where do I need to “think outside of the box”?

We will also talk in more detail about the Saturn/Uranus Squares in Aquarius/Taurus — and how it all relates to your birth chart — in our upcoming Forum on Feb. 26th!

To sum it all up for this Full Moon:

If we can recognize that we are doing the best we can at any given time, and that on a spiritual level all “mistakes” are just “experiences”, we can learn about empathy — and our brain will re-pattern itself around compassion, rather than criticism.

Ask yourself: What if I stood in a place of allowing, curiosity, and creative spaciousness? Am I currently using my imagination to inspire myself or scare myself? Does my mind wander gravitate towards worst-case or best-case scenarios?

What might I notice if I were 5% more mindful of my inner dialog? What if I brought 5% more compassion to myself? Even to my inner critic? And even to my fearful mind chatter?

The moment you feel ungrounded or overwhelmed, ask yourself: Could I slow down and notice my breathing? What might breathing deeply and mindfully bring to this moment?

This Full Moon reminds us that our mindfulness and open heart make a difference, not only in our own life, but in the world. Rather than pushing, over-thinking, or giving up, I invite you to conduct small, simple experiments, inside of faith in universal support.

In that spirit…

For the next two weeks, ask yourself: Where is the balance point for intellect and intuition? Striving and surrender? What if far more is happening, both within each one of us and around the world, than meets the eye, ear, or news media?

What if the solutions were already available… just not widely distributed?

This Full Moon reminds us that peace comes from within, and can radiate from each one of us — we are what we choose to be in every “moment of now” — so choose wisely! Our future is birthed breath-by-breath, step-by-step, heart-by-heart.

Super New Moon in Virgo – the article

On Sept. 17th at 7am EDT, the Moon aligns with the Sun in 25 degrees of Virgo, marking the beginning of a new Moon cycle. Feel free to click here and watch my New Moon video on the subject.

Not only is this the beginning of a new Moon cycle, it is also a “SuperMoon“; these occur when the Moon becomes either Full or New while at its closest distance to the Earth.

SuperMoons generate greater gravitational and electromagnetic forces and therefore increased effects on our physical, mental, and emotional bodies. This, in turn, facilitates greater shifts in consciousness.

This Super New Moon also has an abundance of planets in Earth signs, similar to the last Full Moon (that was exact on Sept. 2nd). The Moon & the Sun in Virgo, Jupiter, Pluto & Saturn in Capricorn, and Uranus in Taurus. This means that our physical & structural realities, and the sustainability of those realities, take the forefront on both the individual and collective levels.

Ask yourself: Is my current life — its form and how it’s set up structurally — sustainable as it is? What if “simplifying my life” supported my current structures?

There are also four stationing planets in this New Moon chart: Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto!

This means all four of these planet’s energies are exalted, making their vibrations louder — something is “in our face” in relation to these energies for the next month, demanding our attention and awareness. I will talk more about this below, but first let’s look at the Virgo energy of this Super New Moon:

Virgo provides an opportunity to learn about being of service — and what it might mean to strengthen our focus on improving our daily routines — getting organized, for example — and taking care of health matters.

Things to watch out for…

Things to watch out for: sweating the details, worrying, and being extra-critical of ourselves and others when something doesn’t get done “right”.

Another great way to step into the higher vibrations of Virgo: recognize, as best as you can, that humility, self-improvement, and being of service bring you closer to your inner divinity and your Soul’s path.

Ask yourself: How could I, as a Spirit-being, operate more efficiently in the physical world? Might tweaking my daily routines help me function better in the physical world? Might that also support me in being of service? What benefits might I reap if I could better discern between the essential and the redundant?

Since the New Moon in Virgo trines Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn (both of which are exalted at the time of the New Moon), we can ask ourselves: How might taking a practical approach to our daily routines serve the long-term vision of ourselves (individually & collectively)? What if we applied that same approach to health-related routines? What could we achieve if we brought 5% more humility to our long-term plans?

Virgo and Capricorn are Earth signs, so getting down to business and focusing on the task at hand takes less effort than normal. We are more capable than normal of looking at the details, and focusing on what’s sitting right in front of us that demands to be taken care of, so we can get to the next phase of accomplishment.

We are invited to look at all the practical implications; we need to slow down and take our time if we are to manifest something that can stand the test of time — rushing things will most likely backfire right now.

Commitment and discipline are the keys to understanding our purpose right now. We face life on life’s terms and feel up to doing so. Ask yourself: Where might a deepening of my understanding of my own motivations lead me? What in my life needs to transform? What could I strip away that is no longer connected with who I am now? What fears and attachments could I now release that no longer serve my evolution? Am I willing to let them go, just for now, and just as best as I can?

The New Moon also squares the current Moon Nodes in Gemini/Sagittarius, which means we are collectively at a crossroads: We are being asked to take a 90-degree turn, to gain a new perspective, to explore different avenues leading to different outcomes, especially in regards to our health routines and daily well-being.

Ask yourself: What beliefs are holding me back from living a healthy life? What do I need to implement in my daily routines, so I can be healthy and happy? Could I be open to shifting my perception? Where have I made assumptions? Which one of my “filters” could I do without for a while, just as an exercise in freedom? How might a good dose of discernment serve me right now?

Last but not least, the New Moon also quincunxes Mars in Aries (also exalted at the time of the New Moon); this calls for some inner adjustments.

We are invited to develop an inner awareness around two very different urges: on the one hand, the desire to engage in personal passion projects and cover new ground fast — and on the other, the need to tend to our daily routines, observing what works and what doesn’t, as well as being of service to others.

Ask yourself: Am I over-analyzing things? Am I being too impulsive or impatient? What might need simplifying in my life, so I can take the next step forward?

A Quincunx between Aries and Virgo can also indicate a health-aspect, so ask yourself: Where do I need to make adjustments so my body doesn’t experience “burn out”? What needs my discernment (or even my careful evaluation) so I can move forward with vigor and passion?

Stay as open and observant as you can — especially since Mars is still exalted due to its Station phase — and also retrograde.

Mercury, the ruler of Virgo, is currently in Libra; it makes a Square to Jupiter in Capricorn, and a Quincunx to Neptune in Pisces. Let’s unpack that:

The Square to Jupiter in Capricorn is an invitation to bring expansion and new perspectives to our interactions with others. As Jupiter and Mars are both still exalted at the time of the New Moon, impatience might be a given — but moving faster or doing more is not necessarily better in this case.

Ask yourself: What have I learned in the last 4 months about my abilities and limitations? How can I apply that knowledge to my interactions with others at this time? What if I slowed down just 5% when connecting with others, so I can practice listening 5% more? What might be possible in my collaborations with others if I was 5% more aware of my assumptions in that moment?

The Quincunx to Neptune in Pisces indicates some inner struggles or adjustments that need to be made — we may feel confused at times, as we are feeling an internal pull in some very different directions: going within, slowing things down and getting quiet, versus connecting with others one-on-one. We are seeking an inner transformation.

Ask yourself: What am I sensing? Intuiting? Where does the inner experience of love and connectedness meet the outer? What do I currently experience in my relationships that doesn’t seem to be a good fit with my ideals, dreams, and fantasies?

How could I learn more about collaboration? What calls out to be communicated in my relationships? Where might I be avoiding any such communications? Could I give myself some space, time, and love around all of this?

Lastly, Venus in Leo squares Uranus in Taurus; this indicates that priorities are shifting, and we may feel uneasy around others. We may also struggle to reconcile freedom with material safety (the latter could show up as fears around financial goals) and in fact it’s best to look long and hard before you leap into any financial decisions at this time.

Ask yourself: Could I give myself 5% more space when it comes to relationships with others? My relationship with myself? With money? How might flexibility and creative solutions support me when things take a different or unexpected turn? Could I keep my mind and heart 5% more open no matter what happens?

To sum it all up, the message of this Super New Moon is loud and clear: It invites us to assess the quality of our lives in all areas. It spotlights how less can be more (clutter, “busyness”, stress) and how this translates into a more satisfying and meaningful life, long-term.

Be Mindful. Dedicate yourself to what’s important with compassion in your heart! Remember that perfection is not a goal, it is a journey.

Ask yourself: What if I favored progress over perfection? How could I release “old” dogmas? What if I discerned what’s truly important to me and focused there for improvements? How do I communicate my thoughts and findings to others? Could I bring 5% more maturity and responsibility to the table when being of service to others?

When life slows down, speeds up, or becomes uncomfortable, simplify and be patient. We are changing and growing in ways that we can’t comprehend right now.

Also feel free to click here and watch my New Moon video on the subject.

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 23-27 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle. Intentions are best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact — and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase.

So this month, the best and most potent time to set intentions would be between 7:00am and 7:42am on Sept. 17th; and then again from 2:56pm on Sept. 17th until 7:00am on Sept. 19th (New York-time).

If you live in a timezone other than EDT (that’s the US East Coast time zone), feel free to join my Facebook Fan-page or follow me on twitter. I will be posting reminders on Sept. 17th and 18th throughout the day, and on Sept. 19th in the morning, to let you know when it is time to set your intentions 😉

Full Moon in Pisces — article

On Sept. 2nd, at 1:22am EDT, the Sun opposes the Moon in 10 degrees of Pisces. The Moon in creative, free-flowing Pisces makes an opposition to the Sun in detail-oriented, practical Virgo. If you are already a Member of my online community, you may also want to watch my video on the subject: click here.

With this Full Moon, we are dealing with two stationing planets — Mars & Jupiter — both of which we will investigate in more detail during our upcoming Forecasting Forum on Aug. 30th. Jupiter in Capricorn is preparing to end its 4-month Retrograde phase on Sept. 12th, and is therefore exalted; Mars in Aries is preparing to start its 9-week Retrograde phase on Sept. 9th, and is also exalted.

We are getting ready to retrace our steps (Mars), and are looking for the moral high ground when it comes to our long-term goals or social structures (Jupiter). For a more in-depth interpretation of your own chart, feel free to get the Mars in Retrograde webinar here (unless you are already a Star Member — in that case, check your email, webinar was sent to you on Aug. 30th in the evening).

This Full Moon has six planets in Earth signs: The Sun & Mercury in Virgo, Uranus in Taurus, and Saturn, Pluto, and Jupiter in Capricorn. A heavy concentration in Earth signs focuses our attention on our relationship with our body, money, resources, and the Earth.

Now let’s first address this Full Moon’s polarities: The Virgo/Pisces polarity has to do with our ability to connect the head with the heart, logic with intuition, matter with spirit. So the question is: how do we integrate Pisces and Virgo?

This may seem a challenging question, given Virgo’s leaning toward detailed, analytical understanding, contrasted with Pisces’ call to open our heart and allow for all (including things that seem paradoxical to the mind). In fact, on an energetic level there is no separation, everything is interconnected — we need both left- and right-brain (the logical and the creative).

Ask yourself: What if nothing and no one were separate? Appearing to be different, yes, but not separate…

The mind acts like a filtering mechanism that helps us to focus and function more efficiently. Virgo analyzes, whereas Pisces feels, senses. Virgo seeks physical wholeness, Pisces reminds us of a greater wholeness — a spiritual wholeness — our interconnectedness with all of life, the allowing of all the mysteries of life.

That said, let’s also talk about the shadow side of those signs, as we do with all Full Moons:  Virgo’s shadow side is…

As you may have guessed, the remedy for the Pisces shadow lies in the lighter vibrations of Virgo; these include the ability to focus on what works (versus what doesn’t), to make practical choices, and to make the best use of our daily engagements while taking care of our physical well-being.

When the Pisces- and Virgo-energies are integrated, we marry a clear, observant mind with a compassionate and loving heart — a mind in partnership with our intuitive sensing!

Ask yourself: What tools might shift my view of reality from either/or, to both/and? From the mind-activity of “wanting to understand” and “know” to the heart-activity of true understanding?

Let’s look at some of the aspects of this Full Moon:

The Moon in Pisces sextiles Uranus in Taurus, while the Sun in Virgo trines Uranus: We get an opportunity here to be very present, to connect with others and share a new vision about the Earth, or to reinvent how we connect with “the good things in life”. We feel alive, we want to create a better future for ourselves and others, and we are excited to do it.

Originality and innovation come easy to us, as does connection with like-minded people; we can celebrate (and leverage) our idealism and unorthodox approaches to life’s challenges.

As best as you can, bring a sense of flow and faith to who you are being; allow yourself to intuitively share some progress-oriented, new ideas about what is important to you, and other things that could make your own and other people’s life easier on a very practical level.

Ask yourself: What if I expressed what I uniquely valued without apologies? How might sudden ideas spark activities that feel in alignment with my personal values? And, looking at things from a different angle: What might be possible with a bigger network of like-minded people?

Neptune, the ruler of Pisces, in its own sign since April 2011, is currently in a Sextile to Jupiter in Capricorn. Since Jupiter is exalted, this combination spotlights any issues we have around beliefs — our own or other people’s — and the trust we place in each other and current social structures.

A Sextile is always an opportune aspect (i.e. when we access both planets in an active way we tend to get pretty good results); in this case, we want to access Neptune’s support to build compassion, understanding, and intuitive knowing, and connect all that to the way we look at our social structures and understanding.

The truth will set us free… And until Sept. 12th, when Jupiter ends its current Retrograde phase, that truth needs to be accessed on an internal level — after Sept. 12th, we can start to bring our understanding of things to the world at large.

Ask yourself: What is my truth in connection with my long-term goals and social standing? Could I allow my truth to be valid without making others wrong for theirs? What might change if I added compassion and understanding to the picture? How might checking in with my intuitive “voice” on a daily basis serve me with all of this?

Mercury, the ruler of Virgo, also currently in its own sign, is trining the Saturn-Pluto alignment in Capricorn, and sextiling Venus in Cancer. Matters of the mind will be experienced more strongly. As best as you can, use this energy wisely: make lists, look at the pros and cons of a situation, neutrally observe what works and what doesn’t.

Ask yourself: What serves me long-term? What empowers me and is sustainable? What choices do I need to make to smooth the path right now? Where are my opportunities for making sound decisions in connection with family or home? What is calling out to be simplified in my daily routines?

Mercury also squares the Moon Nodes in Gemini/Sagittarius. Squares mark important turning points, where we must make a perceptual shift in order to move forward — and this one is a turning point in our day-to-day thinking — we must balance gathering or processing information against going beyond what we have accumulated to a higher perspective — one that elevates our understanding of our current situation.

Ask yourself: How might I be able to broaden my horizons? What would it make possible for me if I got really clear about what works in my daily routine and what doesn’t? Could I give myself permission to venture beyond my daily routine?

How does my day-to-day thinking contribute to connecting my mind, body, and spirit? How does my thinking keep me separate from others? From myself? My body? My heart?

We may also feel a pull between introversion and extroversion, or simply between fast and slow; if you feel such a pull, ask yourself: Could I simply tune in for a moment and see if I need to take a break (or at least slow down a little)? How might a positive attitude towards experimentation, coupled with the ability to remain curious, serve me for the next two weeks?

We also have a T-Square in place, with Mars in Aries as the Focus planet, squaring Saturn in Capricorn on one side, and Venus in Cancer on the other. This asks us to stretch and grow by taking a look at our masculine energies and how we are using them (Mars represents the masculine principle of assertion, active passion, personal willpower, and protection). We are also invited to acknowledge any restrictions or limitations that we are experiencing in our relationships with others.

Taking Aries into account, together with the fact that Mars is exalted, we can see that we are being invited to actively and courageously connect with others, asserting ourselves while allowing others to contribute to our new projects or passions.

Since Mars is feeling the stress of Saturn and Venus, we may experience frustrations with long-term goals, and challenging situations at home.

Ask yourself: What am I willing to fight for? What am I passionate about? What if patience was itself the path?

What if I was able to find creative solutions to my current frustrations? What if these solutions already existed and I simply needed to wait for the perfect moment to be able to access them? In what ways am I currently growing? Maturing? Achieving Self-mastery?

The solution with all T-squares is to focus on the empty leg — in this case Libra — here we are invited to act from a place of inner balance and a desire for collaboration and justice or peace for everyone involved.

Ask yourself: What stirs me to action? How could I inspire others to join or collaborate with me? How might my actions help others achieve more justice, more peace? Could I use the passion and fire in my body & soul to negotiate a win-win? What would it take to have a fair fight?

Mars also sextiles the North Node in Gemini and trines the South Node in Sagittarius. This gives us the opportunity to use our current passionate energies and drive for forward movement to engage more fully with our current collective Soul explorations.

Ask yourself: What difference might listening 5% more attentively make in achieving my goals? What if I communicated with 5% more clarity and directness?

What might change for me if I questioned my assumptions around what I think I know? Around who I think I am? Around the reason things are the way they are? What new information might I spot if I stepped back and took a wider view?

To sum it all up: This Full Moon teaches us about opening our hearts, and places an emphasis on improving all levels of our being, with an especially strong focus on the physical plane. It is important to remember that Spirit is never separate from matter. One informs the other.

Ask yourself: If I knew in advance that all will work out for the best, what would I be willing to endure? What actions would I take?

As best as you can, stay grounded in love, not fear. Stay curious and open-minded. Communicate your truth without expecting everyone to have the same beliefs or attitudes. Be direct without offending others. We are all on an extraordinary, unprecedented evolutionary journey; the faster things appear to happen, the more important it is to slow down.

Each day, indeed each moment, each breath, we have a choice. If we don’t like what happens, we can go into regret, or place blame on something or someone (ourselves included), or we can set the intention to choose differently the next time around. Each now moment is a new moment — and each new moment empowers us to make new choices — if we choose to do so 😉

For the next two weeks, as best as you can, be kind and compassionate with yourself. Surround yourself with caring, loving energies — and sift, sort, and simply let go of whatever is cluttering your life.

Ask yourself: What if the greatest gift I could give myself over the next two weeks was the liberation of my heart-energies?

Over the next two weeks, we might experience synchronicities that seem to confirm that, indeed, a larger intelligence is at work. Experiment with saying this affirmation each morning when you wake up and each night before you go to bed: “I am part of a larger intelligence & energy field that interconnects me with all there is. And so it is!”.

Super Full Moon in Virgo — article

The next Full Moon will be “exact” on March 9th, at 1:48pm EDT, in 19.5 degrees of Virgo. This Full Moon has a heightened effect on us, as it is also a SuperMoon (i.e., the Moon is at its closest distance to the Earth); SuperMoons generate greater gravitational and electromagnetic pulls on our physical and emotional bodies — and pull more powerfully on our psyches too, increasing emotionality and fostering larger shifts in consciousness.

If you are already a Member of my online community, feel free to also watch my video for more.

Ask yourself: How far have I come with the Intentions I set around Feb. 23rd’s New Moon? If I’m not where I’d like to be with those intentions, what new course might take me closer to my goals?

A Full Moon is always an opposition between the Moon and the Sun; during these oppositions, we seek balance, alignment and integration around two perspectives that seem like polar opposites. Very often, we experience this through our interactions with others, and since these interactions are also the pathway to resolution, relationships of all kinds are highlighted during Full Moons.

In this case, the Moon in Virgo opposes the Sun in Pisces (if you are already familiar with this polarity, feel free to skip ahead to the aspects involved in this Full Moon chart…)

Virgo seeks personal wholeness, while Pisces reminds us of a transcendent wholeness — our divinity and interconnectedness with all of life.

To find the balance between Virgo and Piscesask yourself:

To find the balance between Virgo and Piscesask yourself: Where do I need to be more selective?

Drawing on the higher vibrations of Pisces helps us likewise connect with the higher vibration of Virgo… Pisces’s best qualities are compassion, intuitiveness, open-heartedness, inspirational creativity and imagination; at its best, Pisces understands that we are all souls in various states of development, doing the best we can.

Mercury (the ruler of Virgo) is stationing to go direct at 28º of Aquarius — it will come to a complete halt, only 10 hours after the Full Moon becomes exact; this heightens the energy of the planet of communication. Our thoughts have more weight and what confronts us demands our awareness.

Think back to Feb. 2nd and ask yourself: what came up for me that day? What ideas will be ready to move forward after March 9th?

In general, how can I start to implement things that came up during the Mercury Retrograde phase? Where could my problem-solving skills be put to use? What needs to be addressed now around my vision for the future? If every thought either added to or subtracted from my ability to connect with my personal and/or collective future vision, what would I say more to myself? What would I say less?

We will also talk in more detail about Mercury’s direct movement as well as the Super Full Moon — and how it all relates to your birth chart — in our upcoming Forum on March 8th!

So, if you want to know how these planetary movements are going to impact you personally, SIGN UP to join the webinar LIVE, or register to receive an mp4 video presentation within 24 hours of the live event.

Star Members are automatically registered and will receive an email with a link on March 7th in the afternoon — and you also will automatically receive a video of the Forum within 24 hours of the live event.

Once Mercury goes direct, on March 10th all planets will be moving in direct motion until April 25th, signaling that we have almost seven weeks to make some major moves forward in our lives. Ask yourself: What steps (whether large or small) might move me forward on my evolutionary path? How might a balance between “doing” and “being” support me on this path? What about “thinking” & “feeling”? Discernment & acceptance? Where might the journey of integrating head and heart lead me?

Here are some other aspects from this Full Moon chart:

The Sun aligns with Neptune in Pisces, drawing us inward, influencing us to seek silence and solitude, where we can hear the quiet truth of our intuition and release what no longer serves our Soul’s evolution.

Ask yourself: If I were to be totally honest with myself, what would I notice is draining, rather than inspiring me? Where do I seem to have a hard time discerning fact from fiction? Could I be open to receiving guidance directly from my higher Self, my Soul-Self? If my feelings had words and could speak, what would they say? What might my dreams say to me? What message might my intuition have for me?

Is it at least possible that plenty of sleep, rest, or “going within” might serve my connection to the divine (aka “source”)? What else could show me my own divine nature?

The Moon in Virgo trines Mars, Jupiter, and Pluto in Capricorn. Virgo and Capricorn are both Earth signs, so getting down to business and focusing on the task at hand comes easier, while an increased ability to discern “what’s what” can support us when digging deeper into our motivations around long-term goals.

This combo thus creates a “mutual support system” for manifesting something real that fits with our long-term goals. It provides a flow of practical approaches and a wonderful opportunity to connect to what we feel most passionate about — along with a desire to accomplish something meaningful.

Ask yourself: How could my attention to detail help me lay down a solid foundation for the long haul? What might open up if I implemented health routines or other systems that support my long-term goals?

What works for me in my daily routines? What doesn’t? What are my expectations or attitudes towards those things? What new vantage point might show me how to easily implement my business goals?

The Sun/Neptune alignment in Pisces sextiles Mars and Jupiter in Capricorn; we can better link our ability to plan and achieve to our intuition and instincts, so ask yourself: If there were a single, really simple action step, one that would feel almost effortless… what might that be?

Humor can be a big part of this aspect too, as can the ability to see lots of possibility in our lives, especially when it comes to creating sustainable achievements and becoming an expert in our field. This could bring a healthy shift of attitude toward our long-term goals — whether personal or collective.

Imagine for a moment that you had a special lens which showed you the “bigger picture”… What might you see if you looked through it at your long-term goals? How about your career goals?

Lastly, Venus is currently in her own sign, aligned with Uranus in Taurus. Freedom plays a big part in our interactions over the next two weeks, and we have the freedom to experiment with new ways of relating to others, so as best as you can, stay open and flexible: Fresh air is blowing through your relationships — and perhaps your bank account too.

Ask yourself: What unusual or “different” social connections are calling to me? Where do I need to break my current routines for social interactions? What might open up if I opened more towards new experiences in my relationships? Or maybe even around my finances?

A few final thoughts:

Virgo’s highest vibration is also about Service — and to genuinely be of service, we must acquire discernment — not judgement, not criticism, not perfectionism, but the ability to focus objectively on what is helpful and set aside the rest.

Ask yourself: What if I didn’t have to be perfect to be of service? What might I notice if I were 5% more mindful of my inner dialog? What if I brought 5% more compassion to myself? Even to my inner critic? And even to my fearful mind chatter?

Pisces understands that everything is made up of energy and therefore interconnected. If we can recognize that we are doing the best we can at any given time, and that on a spiritual level all “mistakes” are just “experiences”, we can learn about empathy — and our brain will re-pattern itself around compassion, rather than criticism.

Ask yourself: What if I stood in allowing, curiosity, and creative spaciousness? Am I currently using my imagination to “inspire” or “scare” myself? Do I have a tendency to go towards worst-case or best-case scenarios? What might “universal love” choose?

There is at least one way to immediately heighten our connection with the Pisces energy, and it’s free to all: simply becoming more aware of our breath. The moment you feel ungrounded or overwhelmed, ask yourself: Could I slow down and notice my breathing? What might breathing deeply and mindfully bring to this moment?

This Full Moon reminds us that our mindfulness and open heart make a difference, not only in our own life, but in the world. Rather than pushing, over-thinking, or giving up, I invite you to conduct small, simple experiments, inside of faith in universal support…

For the next two weeks, ask yourself: Where is the balance point for intellect and intuition? Striving and surrender? What if I trusted 5% more in the “perfect” outcome? What if far more is happening, both within each one of us and around the world, than meets the eye, ear, or news media?

What if the solutions were already available… just not widely distributed?

This Full Moon reminds us that peace comes from within, and can radiate from each one of us; we are what we choose to be in every “moment of now” — so choose wisely! Our future is birthed breath by breath, step by step, heart by heart.

Given that, for the next two weeks, do your best to simply observe, like a scientist would, from a place of neutrality and curiosity. Notice what serves you in the moment and always bring compassion to it all!
