Our Journey towards Authenticity — Forecast for April 20th – 26th

This week’s headline items: The New Moon in Taurus becomes exact on Wednesday late evening; Pluto comes to a halt, starting its 5-month Retrograde phase on Saturday afternoon; Saturn starts its Station phase on Sunday, as it prepares to go retrograde.

There will only be two Moon VoC phases this week: Wednesday morning (for a little over 7 hours) and Friday evening (for almost 7 hours).

Before we get to this week’s forecast, I’d like to mention:

If you haven’t had a chance yet to watch my Interview with Jean-Claude from Beyond Mystic about: what the future holds, please feel free to watch it here.

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, April 20th:

Monday, the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces and VoC until 3:00am EDT. At that time, the Moon enters pioneering, fast-paced Aries. It will journey there until Wednesday mid-afternoon. Life is an adventure, we’re more open to new ideas, and have great enthusiasm for new projects. Patience is certainly not our strong suit at this time, but we can decide quickly, and act immediately.

Our independence and dynamism are important to us right now, so we may find it hard to be disciplined or accept advice at this time; in general, our responses to others tend to be more assertive or even aggressive. If you find your foot tapping, try hitting the gym, or finding other ways to burn off the body’s excess energy.

Monday morning, we get an opportunity to take actions on our personal goals, in a very concrete way and bring a new level of focus and authenticity to our future visions

Monday late afternoon, has lots of potential for healing around family, the “mother archetype”, home, and our past in general. We may feel more sensitive and insecure about what we identity with, and around our ability to be assertive; this gives us the opportunity to give ourselves some compassion, acceptance and nurturing in the face of our sensitivities and limitations.

Tuesday, April 21st:

Tuesday, the Moon remains in…

Tuesday, the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day (see Monday for details).

Tuesday very early morning, a challenging Sun/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 3:00am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last week Friday evening (April 17th) on; and it will remain strong until this Friday evening. We’re asked to stretch and grow beyond what we have previously known ourselves to be; our commitments and responsibilities towards the collective are calling us to get out of our comfort zone.

Find creative ways to honor both your comforts (and what you most value), and your desire to build a vision for humanity that lasts and is sustainable. Allow for a slow and steady approach, even if life puts up roadblocks, or throws some curve-balls.

What if you just knew that you could handle whatever shows up? Would you rather build structures that are sustainable for generations to come, or take a more enjoyable and down-to-earth approach to achieving things? Would you rather achieve status in your communities (in person or online) or honor and love yourself exactly as you are? What if it were not a question of “or” but of “and”?

What if you just decided to bring maturity and self-responsibility to the table when dealing with your various affiliations, even if you don’t agree all of the time?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 0-5 degrees of Taurus, Aquarius, Leo, Scorpio 28-29 degrees of Pisces, Gemini, Virgo, or Sagittarius? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Capricorn (the Sun rules Leo; Saturn rules Capricorn).

Tuesday morning: we have an opportunity to connect with others and move a project forward that is dear to us. It’s time for action: What needs to be communicated? How can we get the information we need? Or is it a question of “who” rather than “how”?

Tuesday late morning, we have an opportunity to connect with like-minded people and move a project forward that serves our community. It’s time for action: What small (or even large) action steps could we take? What needs to be considered, so we can move forward faster?

Tuesday afternoon, we are invited to actively connect with others and share ourselves. What if we got in touch with our passion for life, just for these four hours? What if we could inspire others just by sharing ourselves?

Tuesday is also the last day before the New Moon becomes exact, this is a great day to let go of what no longer serves us. As best as you can, avoid jumping the gun: Rather than launching into brand-new endeavors or connections, wait until a couple of days have passed after the New Moon.  Click here to watch my New Moon video.

Some of us might feel a little anxious or nervous today: As best as you can, get quiet and go within… Listen to the silence between the sounds… Find peace in the connection with your innermost and truest Self.

Wednesday, April 22nd:

Wednesday, the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries until 3:36pm EDT (see Monday for details).

Wednesday at 8:32am EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for a little over 7 hours until 3:36pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to make adjustments and find creative solutions around the tension between our personal desires and needs, versus our need for expansion and new perspectives on a professional level and in regards to long-term goals.

As best as you can, allow yourself to make space for both; flexibility and adaptability are key if we mean to move forward with our plans and projects… As always with a  Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Wednesday morning until the afternoon ahead of time.

Wednesday at 3:36pm EDT, the Moon moves into steady, peaceful Taurus, where it will journey until very early morning on Saturday (April 25th). We love all physical comforts, prefer consistency, and would rather stick with what we know works well. In other words: change is not our favorite thing and “rushing things” goes against our grain.

What is our favorite thing for the next two days? It’s probably, slowing down and getting in touch with whatever delights our senses 😉 This Moon placement also starts the build-up towards the the New Moon (exact later this evening),

Wednesday late evening, at 10:26pm EDT, the New Moon in almost 3.5 degrees of Taurus becomes exact. This marks the beginning of a new Moon cycle.

As best as you can, get really quiet, and see if you are getting any new messages or ideas. If you are, harvest them, and fold them into any intentions you set for the new Moon cycle — I will talk about this process later in the forecast, and I’ll even give you the very best and most potent times for doing so 🙂  Click here to watch my video on the subject.

This New Moon aligns with Uranus in Taurus, squares Saturn in Aquarius, semi-sextiles Neptune in Pisces, and trines the South Node in Capricorn.

So, as you can see, lots of planets and points connect to this New Moon. This paints a complex picture, with opportunity for change, an atmosphere of diversity, a need to redefine “old” structure, an extra effort to connect with our compassionate heart and our imagination, and a sense of knowing that all is well, all of the time.

But before we go into all of these aspects in more detail, let’s first talk about the sign of Taurus:

This New Moon in steady, peaceful Taurus places more focus on our interactions with the physical world — you could say that we seek a healthier relationship with “matter”, one in which we are neither too attached, nor too disconnected from things on the physical plane — for example, our bodies, resources (such as money), and the planet we co-inhabit.

We are powerfully reminded to take the time to honor the only planet we can currently live on — The Earth — and honor its resources and beauty.

In much the same spirit, we are invited also to…. to read the whole New Moon article and get access to all of the Coaching questions, click here.

The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle. This is best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact — and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase. So this month, the best time to set intentions would be any time between 10:26pm on Wednesday, April 22nd, and 8:43pm, on Friday, April 24th — all of the above times are given in US East Coast-time.

For more info on setting New Moon Intentions, click here.

If you live in a timezone other than EDT (US East Coast-time), feel free to join my Facebook Fan-page or follow me on twitter. I will be posting reminders on Wednesday evening, Thursday, and Friday — to let you know that it’s the best time to set your intentions 😉

Do you have your Ascendant or any personal planets in 1-6 degrees of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo or Aquarius? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Thursday, April 23rd:

Thursday, the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus all day (see Wednesday afternoon for details).

Thursday early morning: If possible, connect with people that can support your projects on a practical level, and share with them what you have going on.

Thursday night/Friday very early morningOn the one hand, we need to experience peace and physical pleasure; on the other, we feel the need to take actions towards our future visions. We may need to make some adjustments between these two needs, that are seemingly at odds.

Friday, April 24th:

Fridaythe Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus all day (see Wednesday afternoon for details).

Friday morning, we have an opportunity to meet our need for material comfort with a gentler, more intuitive approach.

Friday late afternoon, we experience an Earth Trine between the Moon and Pluto. This brings flow and ease to practical endeavors and provides a wonderful opportunity to improve our daily lives by committing to what feels authentic and empowering to us and others for the long-term. We get a chance to achieve all this by keeping things down to earth, honest, and enjoyable.

Friday at 8:43pm EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for almost 7 hours until 3:20am EDT (Saturday very early morning). Use this intuitive time to slow down a little and explore what’s sitting right in front of you that needs to be taken care of, so you can gain a new perspective around your goals and accomplishments; expanding too fast will backfire right now — it’s easier now to sustain what we have started, and bring a heightened sense of commitment to it all.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Friday evening until Saturday very early morning ahead of time.

Saturday, April 25th:

Saturday, the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus and VoC until 3:20am EDT (see Wednesday afternoon and Friday late evening for details).

Saturday at 3:20am EDT, the Moon enters chatty, versatile Gemini, where it will journey until next week Monday early afternoon (April 27th). For the next two days, we like to learn, connect and interact as much as possible. “Busy” feels good: connecting online, on the phone, or sharing face-to-face, preferably multi-tasking all the way…

The one thing we can do without is boredom: If our mind is not engaged in some way, we might as well curl up and play dead 🙂

Saturday very early morning, a challenging Mercury/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 3:36am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Thursday on; and it will remain strong until Sunday. This aspect creates some tension in our lives. We may feel anxious or stressed by one or more situations or interactions to do with our own personal goals.

We are being invited to grow and make some changes in our lives, particularly in terms of our thinking processes. We are being asked to find creative solutions and be completely honest with ourselves and others. The best way to achieve this is by the continual practice of self-care and self-nurturing.

We have tremendous focus and drive right now, which can tip into obsession. With this aspect an all-or-nothing attitude is very likely. Choose love over fear whenever possible. Not many people enjoy being second-guessed all the time, yet that is something that we are inclined to do now.

However, our determination to get to the bottom of any matter, to rip away falsehoods and expose true motives, can be used for good if we employ it in our work, for example, in regards to investigations or research. This is an opportunity to learn to harness our intense mental energy and apply it productively. We are also capable of very hard work, focus and effort now.

We have a great love of debate, but should be careful that we don’t overpower others with our strong opinions, attempting to “convert” them to our frame of mind, or treat regular exchanges of opinion as battlegrounds. Connect to yourself and others, empowering yourself/them with what you feel passionate about.

Choose your words/thoughts carefully, from a deeply connected and empowered place rather than from a place of fear, self-protection or a need for survival.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 22-28 degrees of Aries, Capricorn, Libra or Cancer? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Scorpio (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Pluto rules Scorpio).

Saturday afternoon, at 2:54pm EDT, Pluto comes to a halt in 25 degrees of Capricorn, starting its 5-month Retrograde phase (until Oct. 4th). Pluto’s energy will continue to move more slowly, and therefore more exalted, until May 17th.

When an outer planet stops, its energy gets more pronounced; we become more aware of its impact on us — and this can sometimes cause discomfort. We are being asked to hang out with that discomfort until the planet’s energy has picked up speed again (around May 17th).

During the Retrograde phase, we will have a chance to connect to anything associated with Pluto from within. Pluto is associated with our soul purpose, as well as the process of empowerment — our ability to feel empowered from within — and with our deepest passions. This forced us to see what really motivates us.

For the next 5 months, we need to tap into inner authenticity, embracing the entirety of ourselves — the good, the bad, and the ugly. Paradoxically, this will help us let go of any habits, behaviors or fears that are holding us back from feeling fully empowered from within.

We are invited to tap into our passion, strength and Soul’s purpose from the inside out. This deeper connection will support us in our journey towards authenticity. We can then build long-term goals that are aligned with our Soul’s purpose. Ask yourself: What do I “just know”, deep down?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 20-27 degrees of Capricorn, Cancer, Libra or Aries? If so, you will feel this Retrograde phase more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Scorpio (Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio).

Saturday night/Sunday very early morning, a challenging Mercury/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 12:31am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Friday on; and it will remain strong until next week Monday (April 27th). This aspect asks that we grow and evolve in the following areas: how we communicate, think, and what (or how) we share.

We may have to find creative solutions to communicate; we may have to learn about our thinking process and conditioning. “Listening” might not be our strong suit at this time: we want to share our ideas, projects and long-term plans without limitations, and are thus inclined to exaggeration, often unintended.

We might also feel scattered and have a hard time putting our ideas into practice. The upside to all this: we can be extraordinarily funny, interesting and creative.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 24-29 degrees of Capricorn, Aries,Cancer, Libra, or 0 degrees of Aquarius, Taurus, Leo or Scorpio? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Sagittarius (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius).

Sunday, April 26th:

Sunday, the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini all day (see Saturday very early morning for details).

Sunday early morning, a Sun/Uranus alignment in 6.5 degrees of Taurus becomes exact at 5:01am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from this Wednesday evening on; and it will remain strong until next week Wednesday. This alignment brings confidence and a desire to connect with others through a common cause. We may have sudden insights into our friendships — and how they connect us to a bigger vision. We know that if we want to move to the next level, we need to strategize and collaborate with others.

We are also asked to connect to the unusual. Our creative core is awakened: We feel compelled to express ourselves in unique (or at least unconventional) ways. Our consciousness expands, we are receptive to new ways of thinking, doing, and living; this increased openness to all that is new and different may bring unexpected opportunities.

Uranus symbolizes the desire for freedom, equality, and progress. Uranus in Taurus aligned with the Sun, asks us to break away from whatever keeps us from honoring ourselves. It’s time to develop some awareness: What’s mine? What isn’t? What if it were ok to have a different outlook from others? What about different values?

One thing to remember: Keeping the heart and mind open could make a big difference to the experience of this alignment.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 3-10 degrees of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, or Aquarius? If so, you will be more affected by this alignment. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Aquarius (the Sun rules Leo; Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius)

Also, on Sunday, Saturn starts its station in Aquarius. “Stationing” is when a planet moves more slowly through the sky. When a planet stations, its energy becomes more “exalted”; in the case of Saturn, this means we all feel the need to more fully face what is currently so, our actual reality.

Saturn has to do with doing what needs to be done — so we can fully understand the practical implications of our reality, and the consequences of our past actions. Saturn also represents our structures, responsibilities, commitments and ability to “do” life, on life’s terms.

As spirit beings in a physical world, it’s best to observe the laws of the physical world. The sooner we learn to “play by the rules”, the easier life gets. Saturn also represents time and the “domain” of time: growing up, maturing, understanding our limitations, setting healthy boundaries with others, living with integrity, being authentic and truthful, being serious and focused on building something of value to society.

Saturn is our teacher. If you had a cosmic teacher, what would your personal “earth class” be in, right now? Where are you asked to look at your current “earth structures” and become more mature? Which long-term goal calls out for a commitment? What will time do?

As best as you can during the time of the station, bring flexibility and open-mindedness to any frustrations. The station-phase will last until May 25th; and  Saturn starts its 4.5-month retrograde on May 11th in almost 2 degrees of Aquarius (more on that in a couple of weeks…).

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 0-4 degrees of Aquarius, Taurus, Leo, or Scorpio? If so, you will be more affected by this station. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Capricorn, since Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn.

And…

A heads up for next Monday (April 27th): The Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini until 1:28pm EDT. At 1:00pm EDT, the Moon goes VoC for 28 minutes. At 1:28pm EDT, the Moon enters protective, nurturing Cancer, where it will journey until Wednesday late evening. At 3:53pm EDT, Mercury changes signs from Aries to Taurus. More about all the details in next week’s forecast : )
