A Realistic Vision for Humanity — Forecast for April 27th – May 3rd
This week’s headline items: Mercury changes signs from Aries to Taurus on Monday afternoon; on Tuesday, it is
time to take actions on our New Moon Intentions; the First Quarter Moon in Leo becomes exact on Thursday late afternoon; also on Thursday, Venus starts her station (i.e. slows down), preparing for her 6-week Retrograde phase; and finally, on Saturday, Jupiter also begins its station, slowing down as it prepares for its yearly 4-month Retrograde phase.
There will be four Moon VoC phases this week: Monday early afternoon (for 28 min.); Wednesday afternoon (for a little over 5.5 hours); Friday early afternoon (for 13.5 hours); and Sunday late evening (for a little over 4.5 hours).
Before we get to this week’s forecast, I have one quick announcement:
Last chance to join this week’s Forecasting Forum, live on Sunday, May 3rd at 11:30am EDT/4:30pm UK-time. Please note that we’ll take a look at the upcoming Venus Retrograde (May 13th – June 25th) and Station phase (April 30th – May 24th) in Gemini, and the Moon Nodes in Gemini/Sagittarius (May 5th, 2020 – Jan. 2022).
What values need to be reassessed in your life? In your relationships? Your finances? What might a closer look reveal? What “old” assumptions, beliefs, or stories are you ready to acknowledge and release — or redefine? How might staying curious help with that?
If you would like to join live, please keep in mind that registration will close an hour before the live event begins, if you register after 10:30am EDT on Sunday you will receive the mp4-video presentation of the webinar.
EARLY BIRD SPECIAL is still available until Thursday night (April 30th)!!! Click here to register now!

Now, this week’s Forecast…
Monday, April 27th:
Monday, the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini until 1:28pm EDT. We like to learn, connect and interact as much as possible. “Busy” feels good: connecting online, on the phone, or sharing face-to-face, preferably multi-tasking all the way… The one thing we can do without is boredom: If our mind is not engaged in some way, we might as well curl up and play dead 🙂
Monday at 1:00pm EDT, we enter a brief Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for 28 min. until 1:28pm EDT. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to connect with others and move a project forward that is dear to you. It’s time to be direct and communicate — what do you need to move forward faster? Who could give you that information?
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow.
Monday at 1:28pm EDT, the Moon moves into protective, nurturing Cancer, where it will journey until Wednesday late evening (April 29th). With this Moon placement, we are more sensitive to what people say and therefore our feelings are more easily hurt — so be kind to yourself and others. Self-Care is key for the next two and half days 😉
Emotional safety is important to us as well; we like connecting to the familiar and we enjoy nurturing ourselves and others — home and family call to us, for instance. Make sure though, that your glass is filled before letting others drink from it, otherwise you might start to feel drained and resentful.
Monday at 3:53pm EDT, Mercury changes signs from enthusiastic, fast-paced Aries to steady, peaceful Taurus, where it will journey until May 11th. For the next 2 weeks, our thinking shifts gears: we want to connect to others in a realistic, down-to-earth way and we “say it like it is”. We appreciate common sense; we rely on our senses when it comes to processing information.
A well-developed sense of color, smell, and touch are characteristic of this Mercury position, so as long as Mercury is in Taurus, we will be drawn towards the “tasteful” in the realm of the five senses. We are more likely to have a no-nonsense approach to decision-making, and our ideas are often very practical and useful at this time.
When it comes to learning, we prefer demonstrations, concrete answers, and basic concepts for the next 2 weeks. We learn best when we see real-world uses for the theories we are trying to absorb. We simply process information better when we can personalize it (“what use is it to me?”) and attach it to the practical world.
Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus? Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo? If so, you may…

Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus? If so, you may feel more talkative during this time. Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo? If so, you may need to slow down and “smell the roses” 😉
Tuesday, April 28th:
Tuesday, the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer all day (see Monday afternoon for details).
Tuesday very early morning, brings an opportunity to connect to family (or friends that feel like family) and create breakthroughs around things that we enjoy through our five senses (e.g. food). This may also be a good time to find a unique or global approach on financial matters that bring us a sense of emotional security.
Also, Tuesday very early morning, we are invited to make adjustments and (as best as we can) find creative solutions to seemingly insoluble situations. Make space both for healing around anger or self-identity and for taking care of emotional or family issues.
Tuesday (especially after 5:38m EDT): if you set Intentions last week Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday after the New Moon became exact, today will be the best time to start taking relevant actions. If you wrote your intentions down, go back and take another look at what came through intuitively. If you didn’t write anything down, get quiet for a moment and check in with yourself: What actions are calling to me?
Tuesday afternoon, a challenging Mercury/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 1:28pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Sunday night on; and it will remain strong until Wednesday night. This aspect asks us to stretch a little, to grow and mature. Watch out for misunderstandings or rigid thinking, not only when it comes to interacting with others, but also when it comes to your own inner dialog.
On the one hand, Mercury in Taurus wants us to communicate in a down-to-earth, practical manner… making sure that what we reap brings us pleasure. On the other hand, Saturn in Aquarius reminds us that before we can think about what we want to create or bring forth in our various communities, we need to look at our future visions, and get to the core of what works and what doesn’t.
If this is a long-term vision for humanity, ask yourself: are we truly building for the long-term? What is the worst that could happen if we chose “quick” over “quality”?
As best as you can, find creative ways to connect to your personal values, while staying committed to a realistic vision for humanity. Where are you called to make a commitment that serves that vision? Could you simply go for it? One step at a time?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 0-5 degrees of Taurus, Aquarius, Leo or Scorpio, or 29 degrees of Aries, Capricorn, Libra or Cancer? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Capricorn (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Saturn rules Capricorn).
Wednesday, April 29th:
Wednesday, the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer until 9:06pm EDT (see Monday afternoon for details).
Wednesday at 3:29pm EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for a little over 5.5 hours, until 9:06pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to balance your need for self-care and connection with family, against your desire for expansion and new perspectives professionally and around long-term goals.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Wednesday afternoon until the late evening ahead of time.
Wednesday at 9:06pm EDT, the Moon moves into fun and attention-loving Leo, where it will journey until very early morning on Saturday (May 2nd). We may lack objectivity and struggle with backing down or compromising. We all love to be admired — or at the very least acknowledged — for our greatness 🙂
So hand out some compliments — let people know how proud you are of them, tell them how much you love them. Come from the heart in this and all other things… be honest and authentic, as best you can. Fun, games and romance are a big part of this energy as well. You might also enjoy spending time with little ones.
If there are no “outer children” around, how about getting in touch with your “inner child” — it’s definitely easier for the next two days. What are you most grateful for today? What would be heaps and heaps of fun? What would be so much fun, you let out a tiny squeak, just thinking of it? This Moon placement starts the build up to the first Quarter Moon (exact Thursday afternoon).
Thursday, April 30th:
Thursday, the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo all day (see Wednesday evening for details).
Thursday until midnight: the EARLY BIRD SPECIAL for this week’s Forecasting Forum is still available!!! Click here to register now, before the price goes up! (see top of the page for more details).
Thursday at 4:38pm EDT, the first Quarter Moon in almost 11 degrees of Leo becomes exact. We started to feel this aspect from the moment the Moon entered Leo Wednesday late evening. The Moon in fun and attention-loving Leo makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in steady, peaceful Taurus.
We feel compelled to take action. The New Moon took place a week ago (April 22nd); “seeds” planted then are probably “sprouting” by now — and making their first real contact with the outside world. This is therefore a time to stretch and grow — and create some forward momentum. We may feel anxious or unusually busy.
As best as you can, go one breath at a time. Allow for changes, remain flexible (as much as possible), and find creative solutions for your day-to-day interactions with others.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 9-13 degrees of Leo, Taurus, Aquarius or Scorpio? If so, you will feel the effects of this first Quarter Moon more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
Thursday very late evening, a Mercury/Uranus alignment in almost 7 degrees of Taurus becomes exact at 11:41pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Wednesday morning on; and it will remain strong until Saturday. An important insight is coming through — and we want to turn this insight into something real — something tangible, practical, and beautiful.
We might find ourselves part of some really unusual conversations, our mind could be flooded with new information and ideas, and we most likely feel excited by these fresh ideas and insights.
It’s a time when we could achieve real breakthroughs in the form of ideas, communications, and the mind in general — but coupled with the possibility of edginess and impatience toward those who don’t value our new insights. Nervousness, impulsivity and fidgeting could be a by-product of this alignment as well.
Computers and electronics may suddenly become important. We’ll likely have flashes of insight into our own mental workings, original thoughts, etc. As best as you can, and as much as you want to, stay open to other dimensions and stay grounded in your body. That way, all that energy can move through you, without shaking you to the core 😉
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 4-10 degrees of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio or Aquarius? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Aquarius (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Uranus rules Aquarius).
Also, on Thursday, Venus starts her Station phase. The planet’s movement through the sky appears from Earth to be slowing down; it’s getting ready to come to a halt in almost 21 degrees of Gemini and turn retrograde (for 6 weeks) on May 13th.
The station brings all relationship, self-worth and financial issues to the forefront. This stationing period lasts until May 18th, bringing into focus what we do and don’t have; until then, we are more aware of our relationships or the lack thereof. This forces us to look at who we value (including ourselves) and at what is truly important to us in our intimate relationships and financial partnerships.
Ask yourself: Am I experiencing a lack connection with others? What demands my attention when it comes to shared information? What fears or concerns are showing up for me? In what ways am I trying to protect myself from re-experiencing past pains or traumas? Could I give myself permission to simply observe those methods and techniques when they show up? What if I kept my heart open and my mind soothed, as best as I can manage?
It’s important to pay attention to any messages we get during the station phase, because when Venus goes retrograde, we’ll get a chance to address these issues from the inside out. We will address the Venus Station and Retrograde phase in more detail in our next Forecasting Forum (live this Sunday, May 3rd)… And if you would like to find out how this might impact you personally, join us! Click here to register now! EARLY BIRD SPECIAL still available until midnight (April 30th).
Is your Sun sign or Ascendant in Taurus or Libra? Or do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 17-24 degrees of Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo, or Pisces? If so, you will feel a stronger connection to this Venus station.
Friday, May 1st:
Friday, the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo all day (see Wednesday evening for details).
Friday morning could be a good time to connect with others from the heart. What if you let yourself enjoy others in the mutual sharing of information and learning something new about each other?
Also, Friday morning, we are invited to make some internal adjustments. We may want to have some fun, but may also need to tune in to our intuitive inner voice. What do you hear when you get really quiet?
Friday at 12:04pm EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for 13.5 hours until 1:35am EDT (Saturday very early morning). Use this intuitive time to make clear choices when it comes to engaging with a cause or with like-minded people. Do your best to find a balance between your need for heartfelt, joyful self-expression, and your desire for intellectually stimulating, inspirational actions.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Friday early afternoon until Saturday very early morning ahead of time.
Friday late afternoon, feels a little uneasy. We need to develop an inner awareness around our two seemingly opposite pulls: on the one hand, a strong desire to accomplish; on the other, our need for play and fun.
We are asked to bring awareness to whatever it is we feel most passionate about: Are we after laughter and joy? Or intense and authentic emotion? As best as you can, make adjustments as needed, and drop any self-judgment.
Saturday, May 2nd:
Saturday, the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo and VoC until 1:35am EDT (see Wednesday evening and Friday early afternoon for details).
Saturday all day and tomorrow Sunday before 10:30am EDT, is your last chance to join us live for Sunday’s Forecasting Forum. (If you are not already a Star Member). Please note that we’ll take a look at the upcoming Venus Retrograde (May 13th – June 25th) and Station phase (April 30th – May 24th) in Gemini, and the Moon Nodes in Gemini/Sagittarius (May 5th, 2020 – Jan. 2022). Saturday at 1:53am EDT, the Moon enters detail-oriented, practical Virgo, where it will journey until next week, Monday very early morning (May 4th); turning our focus toward the practical and wholesome. We are generous with our time/services and we love to help others. We also have a fondness for science and anything that makes sense in our world — things and knowledge we can apply and use.
Health might come also into focus at this time. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.) align with our long-term goals.
Also Saturday, Jupiter starts to slow down its speed (stationing) as it reaches 27 degrees of Capricorn, preparing for its yearly 4-month retrograde phase. Jupiter will come to a halt on May 14th; its station-phase last until May 26th. We will feel its energy more forcefully during the station-phase.
We start to be more fully aware of Jupiter’s energy; this awareness helps us to get more connected to those energies within us. We get to see where we need to embrace them more fully, so that we can use them in a healthy way, without getting lost in the lower vibrations of their expression.
Until May 26th, we have to face what this planet is trying to communicate to us: Jupiter represents our desire to seek insight via the gaining of knowledge. Some of this planet’s keywords: morality, gratitude, hope, honor, law. Jupiter is the planet of possibility, optimism, and growth (including mental and spiritual growth). Jupiter is also associated with a sense of humor, goodwill, and mercy.
The lower expressions of Jupiter include “Oh, the heck with it”, “I deserve this and more”, “the rules do not apply to me” — generally speaking: too much of a good thing, blind optimism, excess, stretching the truth, overindulgence.
Those of us who have any of our personal planets (or our Ascendant) in 25-29 degrees of Capricorn, Aries, Cancer or Libra will be more affected by this station. This is also true for those of us with their Ascendant or Sun-sign in Sagittarius (Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius, so those folks will always be affected more strongly by Jupiter’s movements and aspects).
Sunday, May 3rd:
Sunday, the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day (see Saturday very early morning for details).
Sunday until 10:30am EDT, is your very last chance to register for the live webinar of today’s Forecasting Forum. See top of the page for more details, or click here. Please note: after 10:30am EDT, you can still get access to the Forum via the mp4-video presentation.
Sunday at 10:25pm EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for a little over 4.5 hours until 1:35am EDT (Monday very early morning – May 4th). Use this intuitive time to clarify what’s important to you. Ask yourself: What works for me in my daily routines? What doesn’t? What are my expectations or attitudes towards those things? What new vantage point might show me how to easily implement my business goals?
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Sunday late evening until Monday very early morning ahead of time.
Sunday very late evening, a long-term, challenging Venus/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 11:52pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last Sunday afternoon (April 26th) on; and it will remain strong until May 27th — an unusually long time, due to Venus’s Retrograde phase.
We can be confused, unrealistic, or overly idealistic around love and money — so it’s best to wait until the transit is over, before making big moves in these areas — if you make long-term financial investments, buy or sell big-ticket items, or start brand-new relationships, it’s likely you will not see things as they truly are.
We are actually being asked to have faith; to let our intuition guide us in money and love — if we are able to do this, we will grow through it. As best as you can, be compassionate with yourself and others during this time — it might also help to know that relationships and endeavors of a spiritual or artistic nature can move forward at this time.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 17-23 degrees of Gemini, Pisces, Sagittarius or Virgo? If so, you are more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Pisces (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Neptune rules Pisces)
And…
A heads up for next Monday (May 4th): The Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo and VoC until 3:09am EDT. At 3:09am EDT, the Moon enters harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra, where it will journey until Wednesday very early morning (May 6th). In the early evening, a Sun/Mercury alignment in 15 degrees of Taurus becomes exact at 5:41pm EDT; we started to feel this aspect build from Saturday morning (May 2nd) on; and it will be strong until Thursday (May 7th). Also, on Monday, Saturn’s Station phase intensifies until May 16th. More about all the details in next week’s forecast : )
