Forecast for April 9th – 15th, 2018
My inner dialog last week: “Don’t lose your shit over every little mishap, especially not when Mercury is still Retrograde in Aries, squaring Saturn in Capricorn! This too shall pass…” 😉
Before we get to this week’s forecast, I have one quick announcement:
If you missed last week’s FORECASTING FORUM, you may want to catch the mp4 video we recorded. We talked about this month’s Saturn and Pluto Station and Retrograde phases this month, as they relate to our own Birth charts. If you’d like to purchase this webinar separately, click here.
In the next Forum, we’ll be talking about Chiron moving into Aries and Uranus moving into Taurus — major shifts! And here’s the Special Offer: if you sign up for the next Forum by the end of this week, you will get that Saturn/Pluto Station and Retrograde webinar recording mentioned above for FREE 😉
If you’re on the fence about signing up for the next Forum, this testimonial might give you some clarity:
“Thanks for another informative and spot-on interpretation of what is happening with the Station and Retrograde phases this month (in yesterday’s monthly forecasting forum) just brilliant” — A.D.
This week’s headline items: Saturn starts to slow down (aka “station”) on Monday, and this will intensify on Saturday. Mercury follows suit, beginning its own Station phase on Tuesday, that in turn intensifies on Friday (it will come to a complete halt — ending it’s retrograde phase — on Sunday morning).
In other news, the Balsamic Moon phase becomes exact on Thursday evening, and the New Moon in Aries becomes exact on Sunday, late in the evening.
And of course, the week wouldn’t be complete without some Moon VoC phases — though there are only two this week: the first on Wednesday, late in the morning (it lasts for almost 4 hours) and a longer one that starts Friday morning and runs for almost 16 hours.
Monday (April 9th): the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn and VoC until 2:50am EDT. At that point, the Moon moves into freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius, where it will journey until Wednesday afternoon. The energy of the Aquarian Moon relates to our instinct for improvement. Reactions are more intellectual than emotional; interactions more impersonal than personal. We are likely to have an increased fascination with the new and unusual.
Social gatherings, anything connected with group ideals and goals for the future, brainstorming, new ideas and methods, progress: all these are promoted during the time the Moon moves through Aquarius. Again: we have our eyes on the future — or on outer space 🙂 Personal freedom becomes paramount.
Also on Monday, Saturn slows down (stations) in 9 degrees of Capricorn. “Stationing” is when a planet moves more slowly through the sky. When a planet stations, its energy becomes…

…more “exalted”; in the case of Saturn, this means we all feel the need to more fully face what is currently so, our actual reality.
Saturn has to do with doing what needs to be done — so we can fully understand the practical implications of our reality, and the consequences of our past actions. Saturn also represents our structures, responsibilities, commitments and ability to “do” life, on life’s terms.
As spirit beings in a physical world, it’s best to observe the laws of the physical world. The sooner we learn to “play by the rules”, the easier life gets. Saturn also represents time and the “domain” of time: growing up, maturing, understanding our limitations, setting healthy boundaries with others, living with integrity, being authentic and truthful, being serious and focused on building something of value to society.
Saturn is our teacher. If you had a cosmic teacher, what would your personal “earth class” be in, right now? Where are you being asked to look at your long-term goals and ambitons and became more mature? What calls for a commitment towards building a solid foundation? What will time do?
As best as you can during the time of the station, bring flexibility and open-mindedness to any frustrations. The station-phase will last until April 24th — and Saturn will start its 5-month retrograde phase, next week Tuesday, on April 17th…
Feel free to watch our mp4 video presentation about April’s Saturn and Pluto Station and Retrograde phases in relationship to our own Birth charts…To purchase this webinar, click here.
Special Offer: If you sign up for our next Forum by the end of this week, you will get the Saturn/Pluto Station and Retrograde webinar (from April 2nd) for FREE 😉 Please note that we will be talking about Chiron moving into Aries and Uranus moving into Taurus, in our next Forum. Major shifts ahead!
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 7-11 degrees of Capricorn, Cancer, Aries or Libra? If so, you will be more affected by this station. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Capricorn, since Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn.
Tuesday (April 10th): the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius all day (see Monday very early morning for details).
Tuesday night/Wednesday very early morning, a challenging Sun/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 12:54am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last Saturday evening (April 7th) on; it will remain strong until this Friday night (April 13th). What we identify ourselves with could now be challenged. This aspect forces us to confront our will, power, assertion, and authority.
Coming into focus now: the relationship with a father- or other important male-figures. We may face the need to be more independent, assertive, and autonomous.
We may alienate others with a controlling, jealous, or overbearing manner. This manner stems from a deep fear of letting go and surrendering to the idea that some things cannot be directed or controlled. We are learning to detach from (let go of) something or someone that no longer serves us — the “something” could include attitudes.
This fear may lead us to compulsive, suspicious, or difficult behavior, costing us the very thing that we hold dear. As best as you can, open yourself up to the power of love within. When you do, you will discover your own strength, and rework your very identity. Perhaps most importantly, this aspect puts us face to face with exactly what’s been holding us back from leading a fuller, more meaningful life.
We may have to make some changes or adjustments between our immediate personal desires and our long-term goals. As best as you can, be open to receiving feedback from others during this time.
If you feel pressured into doing something or you feel a power struggle build, as best as you can, get centered, get grounded and open your heart and mind. This aspect is a major growth opportunity for us: we struggle with buried elements of our personality and ego, learning to face, accept and transform them.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 18-24 degrees of Aries, Capricorn, Libra, or Cancer? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Scorpio (the Sun is the ruler of Leo; Pluto rules Scorpio)
Also on Tuesday, Mercury starts to slow down again (“stationing”). It’s getting ready to come to a halt, ending its 3.5-week retrograde phase, on Sunday, April 15th (more on that later this week…). For the next 10 days (until April 20th), we need to be patient with ourselves and others — especially if there is a connection with communication or transportation, and their associated technologies. This is not the best time to start anything brand-new, especially if it contains new information that needs to be processed.
We might experience delays or misunderstandings, and things tend to feel “off” or stagnant. It might be a good idea to give yourself some extra time to get ready for travel somewhere — especially if you intend to use public transportation or drive (For more details on Mercury Shadow Phases and Retrogrades, click here)
Some of us will feel the effects of this station more than others: those of us with Gemini or Virgo as our Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant) — and those of us with personal planets (or angles) in 4-6 degrees of Aries, Libra, Capricorn, or Cancer.
Wednesday (April 11th): the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius until 2:40pm EDT (see Monday very early morning for details).
Wednesday very early morning, a harmonious Venus/Mars aspect becomes exact at 2:03am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last Friday evening (April 6th) on; it will remain strong until this Sunday. We tend to feel passionate, super-creative, and just plain energized at this time — we have tons of vitality and warmth.
This helps us bring people together for mutual pleasure and benefit; there is also a feeling of flow around creativity and manifesting something real… If you knew it would be easy, what would you pick to create?
Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 10-17 degrees of Taurus, Capricorn or Virgo? If so, you may feel more blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Aries (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Mars rules Aries)
Wednesday morning, a somewhat challenging Sun/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 8:15am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Monday night on; it will remain strong until Wednesday night/Thursday very early morning. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, sort of awkward — and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed if we’re to see what needs adjusting.
This aspect brings us to a fork in the road: One path takes us toward personal goals and helps us inspire others by being direct and enthusiastic. The other leads to greater understanding of intimacy, and of how we share our resources with others.
There’s not necessarily a “correct path”, as both can lead to a deeper exploration of the themes in question. Whichever one you decide to walk, go deeper rather than faster — empower yourself and others by connecting in an authentic way, being honest about your motivations.
One more thing: as best as you can, carefully evaluate any projects before getting involved — awareness is key with this aspect. Ask yourself: What is needed? How can we serve the broader view?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 22-24 degrees of Aries or Scorpio? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Sagittarius (the Sun rules of Leo; Jupiter rules Sagittarius)
Wednesday at 10:55am EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for almost 4 hours, until 2:40pm EDT. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to connect with others, exchange information, and move personal projects forward.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Wednesday late morning and early afternoon ahead of time 🙂
Wednesday at 2:40pm EDT, the Moon moves into creative, sensitive Pisces, where it will journey until Friday late evening. This Moon placement often finds us more sensitive, intuitive, idealistic and imaginative than normal. We also have a greater capacity for compassion, sympathy, and affection for all — but especially for those who suffer or can be regarded as the underdog.
But… that very idealism could also be our downfall at this time: We tend to see the best in everyone and everything, and when reality doesn’t match our idyllic vision, we might feel upset and even victimized by those harsh realities. A way out of this is to channel our idealism into spiritual or creative endeavors.
It’s also a great time for releasing fears — especially the ones based on a sense of separation — and experiencing “oneness”. Feelings tend to flow more freely; as best as you can, let them — in fact, “going with the flow” is the best way to go for the next couple of days.
Thursday (April 12th): the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day (see Wednesday afternoon for details).
Thursday early afternoon, an opportune Venus/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 12:26pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Tuesday evening on; it will remain strong until this Friday night. This is an opportunity for compassion and kindness in our social interactions. We are more attuned to the subtleties of human interaction, and are more inclined to naturally cooperate with others. We tend to “feel” each other on an energetic level now; a sensitive approach is recommended.
We also have an opportunity to connect to our values and gifts from intuition, and use our imagination to attract what we want: When you daydream, what would you like to experience? How would it feel?
Remember: opportunities are openings; they aren’t necessarily handed to us — we have to “take” them and make something of them.
Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 13-17 degrees of Taurus, Pisces, Capricorn or Cancer? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Pisces (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Neptune rules Pisces).
Thursday evening, the Balsamic Moon phase begins — when the Moon reaches 11 degrees of Pisces. This lasts until Sunday late evening, when the New Moon in Aries becomes exact (for those of you who are impatiently waiting for my New Moon video, click here). We are being asked to slow down and get quiet, so we can listen to our intuition.
For some of us, this might be a stretch. As best as you can: stay grounded, take a deep breath and exhale any tensions. Rather than starting something brand-new, put all that energy into completing existing projects or processes. This is also a great time for letting go of whatever no longer serves us. What if you could hear the voice of your inner wisdom? What might it be saying?
Friday (April 13th): the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces until 11:25pm EDT (see Wednesday afternoon for details).
Friday at 7:27am EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for almost 16 hours, until 11:25pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to explore any beliefs connected to past experiences that left you feeling disempowered: How could a compassionate approach to the past allow for a new perspective?
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Friday all day and evening ahead of time 🙂
Friday at 11:25pm EDT, the Moon moves into pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey until Monday very early morning (April 16th). Life is an adventure, we’re more open to new ideas, and have great enthusiasm for new projects. Patience is certainly not our strong suit at this time, but we can decide quickly, and act immediately.
Our independence and dynamism are important to us right now, so we may find it hard to be disciplined or accept advice at this time; in general, our responses to others tend to be more assertive or even aggressive. If you find your foot tapping, try hitting the gym, or finding other ways to burn off the body’s excess energy.
Also on Friday, Mercury Station intensifies in almost 5 degrees of Aries — as Mercury is preparing to come to halt on Sunday (ending its 3.5-week retrograde phase). During the station phase, we feel Mercury’s energies more strongly.
Pay attention to anything “in your face” in any of the following areas: communications, short travels, transportation of any kind, communication devices. You will get a chance to make adjustments once Mercury is moving direct again (to be more precise, during the shadow phase that follows).
As I mentioned on Tuesday already, for the next 6 days, we might experience delays or misunderstandings; things could feel “off” or stagnant. It might be a good idea to give yourself some extra time when getting ready to go somewhere — and that goes for the journey itself, too — especially if you intend to drive or use public transportation. Going with the flow is definitely recommended at this time.
Be extra-patient if you intend to buy, sell or ship big-ticket items, especially if they are transportation or communication devices like anything connected with planes, trains, cars, phones, computers, iPads, etc. Best of all (if possible): wait until after May 3rd, when the shadow phase is over.
Some of us will feel the effects of the Mercury station more than others: those of us who have Gemini or Virgo as our Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant); and those of us with personal planets in 3-6 degrees of Aries, Libra, Cancer or Capricorn.
Saturday (April 14th): the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day (see Friday late evening for details).
Saturday early morning, a long-term, opportune Jupiter/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 5:58am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Sunday (March 19th) on; it will remain strong until Tuesday (May 1st). This is second time this year we will experience this aspect — think back to January, when it last occurred: In what ways were you able to deepen your relationships, business and personal alike?
A positive attitude and deeper trust in our connections with others gives us the chance to build something meaningful and share our passions. We also have a tremendous amount of enthusiasm and deep focus right now that can support professional or personal goals.
Ask yourself: Where could I really dig in to solve a problem? How might passion help deliver on my long-term goals? How could other people’s resources support my ability to create transformation? How might they help me stand in my power?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 19-23 degrees of Scorpio, Capricorn, Pisces or Virgo? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Pisces (the Sun rules Leo; Neptune is the ruler of Pisces).
Saturday early afternoon, an opportune Mars/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 1:27pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Tuesday evening on; it will remain strong until next week, Wednesday evening (April 18th). This gives us the opportunity to take actions that are in alignment with our dreams and ideals. This is also an opportunity for boundaries to dissolve — to open and relax.
Creative or spiritual activities might be a good fit with this planetary connection. We may feel the need to daydream or inspire others. What might it mean, to take “inspired action”? What might show up in the world? What if you allowed the Universe to co-create with you?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 13-17 degrees of Capricorn, Pisces, Taurus, or Scorpio? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Pisces (Mars is the ruler of Aries; Neptune rules Pisces)
Also on Saturday, Saturn Station intensifies in 9 degrees of Capricorn. As I mentioned on Monday already, “Stationing” is when a planet moves more slowly through the sky. When a planet stations, its energy becomes more “exalted”; in the case of Saturn, this means we all feel the need to more fully face what is currently so, our actual reality.
Ask yourself: Where am I being asked to look at my long-term goals and ambitons and became more mature? What calls for a commitment towards building a solid foundation? What will time do?
As best as you can during the time of the station, bring flexibility and open-mindedness to any frustrations. The station-phase will feel most intense until until April 20th, but altogether, it will run until April 24th — and Saturn will start its 5-month retrograde phase, next week Tuesday (on April 17th)… more on that next week 😉
Sunday (April 15th): the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day (see Friday late evening for details).
Sunday at 5:21am EDT, Mercury comes to a halt in almost 5 degrees of Aries and slowly starts its direct motion, after its 3.5-week retrograde phase. As best as you can, go with the flow, keep an open mind and pay attention to anything that is in your face right now — you may need to address those issues again, when Mercury moves through its shadow phase…more on that later.
We are slowly ready to shift our focus back towards the outer world again, taking in new information and sharing from a new perspective. What did you learn about your inner dialog over the past 3 weeks? How can you share your newly found inner understanding in a healthy way with the world? What needs to be addressed regarding your personal goals and desires? With a direct and passionate way of approaching communications? With any new-found understanding of your own thinking structures?
When Mercury gets back to its regular speed (by April 20th), communication and transportation will get back to normal; the same is true of any associated gadgets, vehicles, etc.
Some of us will feel the effects of this station more than others: those of us with Gemini or Virgo as our Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant) — and those of us with personal planets (or angles) in 3-6 degrees of Capricorn, Cancer, Aries or Libra.
As you may recall, I mentioned Mercury shadow phases on Tuesday: If you want to buy, sell or ship big-ticket items, it’s best to avoid the periods shortly before and after Mercury goes retrograde. This is especially true if the items are connected to transportation (cars, plane tickets, etc.) or communication (phone, computer, iPad, etc.) This particular shadow phase ends on May 3rd. Click here to read my blog on the subject.
Sunday late evening, at 9:57pm EDT: the Moon aligns with the Sun in 26 degrees of Aries. This is the beginning of a new Moon cycle; anything brand-new started in the next two weeks has the chance to get off to a great start. Also feel free to watch my New Moon video on the subject
The New Moon in fast-paced, enthusiastic, courageous Aries, asks us to connect to our personal goals and to get very clear on what we want to create for the next 28 days. This is an action-packed energy, with the focus on ourselves — we tend to do first and think later — we have a tremendous amount of energy and want to sprint.
Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, and thus represents new beginnings, initiation, breaking new ground and birthing new forms. An Aries New Moon is thus an especially fertile time for seeding new projects and directions.
We generally don’t know what will happen when we start something brand-new — something we have never done before — and this can bring up insecurities or nervousness, sometimes maybe even plain fear or even panic.
Aries and its ruling planet Mars correspond with the quest to develop courage — not fearlessness, but the conscious choice to act in spite of fear. Some call this the “Warrior Energy”.
One of the many ways we can demonstrate courage is to allow ourselves to be in a state of “not knowing” or “beginners mind”. At these times, we are more present, and sometimes a state of heightened creative potential arises. Ask yourself: What might come forth if I suspended my opinions, beliefs, judgments and concepts, just for a moment, here and there? Could I be brave enough to take a rest from needing to know, just for right now?
Mars is the ruler of Aries; it’s currently in Capricorn, sextiling Neptune in Pisces. This aspect asks us to create a solid relationship with our long-term ambitions, while allowing for our inner divinity (Source/God) to guide us toward what feels intuitively right to us, so we can go after it, and manifest it.
It also bears a cosmic message about relating to our long-term goals in a loving, kind manner — softening our approach perhaps, releasing rigid “shoulds” and any obligations not aligned with our highest calling.
In the same spirit, we are also asked to slow down and focus on quality over quantity, sustainability over novelty, ease over force. Questions you can ask yourself here: What structures might support my emotional/intuitive well-being? What actions would connect my ambitious self to my “soul-self”?
Mars also aligns with Pluto and Saturn in Capricorn. This combo brings our long-term business dealings into deep and sharp focus, especially when it comes to manifesting something real (tangible, sustainable, meaningful, etc.)
Further, anything dysfunctional within our businesses, governments or long-term goals invites investigation. We are being asked to eliminate or transform anything no longer aligned with our Soul’s passions. This is for our highest good — individually and collectively.
Ask yourself: If I felt fully empowered from within and felt absolutely passionate about life, what would I go about “building”? What would be truly meaningful to my Soul in the long run?
The New Moon aligns with Uranus in Aries — and this is also part of a square with Pluto and Mars in Capricorn. This underlines the message that we are ready to take the next big step on our path. Uranus symbolizes the desire for freedom, equality, and (most of all) progress.
It takes courage to leave familiar territory. Ask yourself: What is the next step on my journey toward becoming an ever-stronger, healthy individual, one who knows themselves, and is not afraid to go after their personal goals and desires? What if it were possible to accomplish that whilst staying focused on my long-term achievements? What might that look like?
This alignment between Uranus and the New Moon asks us to break away from anything keeping us from stepping up our game — whatever keeps us in a rut.
Shifts are happening everywhere. It’s time to develop some courage and awareness. Ask yourself: Where do I want to step up? Where do I want to break out? If I made a big leap, where would I most like to land? Could I surprise myself once a day, for the next 28 days?
Pluto is also stationing — and thus exalted — bringing extra intensity to this process. Pluto shows us where we give our power away to others and where we abuse it ourselves. Ask yourself: What structures no longer empower me? What am I most aware of right now? If I’m honest, what will almost inevitably break down over the long haul, simply because it is no longer sustainable?
Mercury has been retrograde for the past three weeks, guiding us to reevaluate our thinking about personal goals and how we want to move things forward. Mercury’s retrograde directed us to deal with unfinished business around past or present dealings, to acknowledge what we learned, be thankful for the growth we experienced, and move forward.
Mercury in Aries is all about “Beginner’s Mind” — open, eager, willing to be surprised. The fewer preconceptions we have, the more possibilities we see, the path widens as we walk it. This placement also reminds us that communication starts within our own minds — our inner dialog is the seed for all outer communication.
Mercury will be moving direct on the day of the New Moon, giving the green light to anything that was in a holding pattern for the past 3-6 weeks. That said, anything developed from scratch (or that first came to light) during the retrograde phase is best left on “pause”, until the shadow phase ends on May 3rd.
We are also cautioned not to be hasty, as Mercury still squares Saturn in Capricorn; the message here is “take it steady”. Ask yourself: What benefits might I reap from taking it one step at a time? From not rushing things?
We’ll be dealing with a lot of Stations this month: Mercury, Saturn, Pluto. Keep in mind that these station phases create awareness. When preparing to go retrograde, they in turn prepare us to gain inner clarity and connect to the energies from within (i.e., more intuitively). In this case, that would apply to Saturn and Pluto.
On the other hand, when going direct, after a retrograde phase, a station prepares us to move forward (in this instance, that applies to Mercury).
On April 17th, Saturn goes into its yearly retrograde, this time at 9º Capricorn. It will turn direct on Sept. 6th at 2.5º, and get back to that starting point of 9º Capricorn on December 12th.
Saturn in Capricorn exposes the consequences of our long-term ambitions. Saturn always calls us to become our own authority, our own judge of what is right, true, and useful long-term. This can be very different from what society, other authority figures, or our country tells us.
While I’m on the subject: the Saturn and Pluto Retrogrades were covered in considerable detail in the last Monthly Forecasting Forum — and if you want to know how this planetary movement might impact you personally, feel free to purchase the video of the last webinar — we applied the Pluto and Saturn Retrograde phases to our own birth charts! Click here for more info or to purchase the recording
There is also a Special Offer linked to that recording: If you sign up for the next Forum by April 17th, I will include that Saturn/Pluto Station and Retrograde webinar for FREE 😉
During the upcoming Retrograde phases, it may be advisable for us to keep the focus more on ourselves, and check in frequently with our inner compass. We also get a chance to see what works (and what doesn’t) in certain areas of our lives; we can take stock, and look to see what needs a do-over (or at least a reassessment).
Last but not least, we have Chiron in 29 degrees of Pisces — this is the last degree of the sign and the aspect is therefore exalted. We are approaching the end of 7 years of Chiron in Pisces!
Think back over those last 7 years and ask yourself: What have I learned about my relationship to my higher Self/intuition? What have I learned about the emotional body? About the energetic body? What do I know about my inner healing process that I didn’t know before 2011?
Chiron will move into Aries on April 17th — the same day that Saturn comes to a halt — and will remain in this enthusiastic sign until the end of September.
We will go over this upcoming shift in more detail in our next Forecasting Forum — if you want to know how Chiron’s journey through Aries, (and Uranus’s journey through Taurus) will impact you personally, feel free to join us — we will apply what’s coming up to our own birth charts. The next Forum will be on Monday, April 30th at 3pm EDT/8pm BST (London-time); for more info or to register, click here
And of course, there’s that Special Offer, I mentioned already: If you sign up for our next Forum by April 17th, you will also get the Saturn/Pluto Station and Retrograde webinar (from April 2nd) for FREE 😉
As a reminder to Star or SuperStar members: you will be automatically signed up for the Forum and will receive a link via email to join the live webinar and also for the video presentation. Watch out for those emails (and check your junk mail, if you don’t see it in your inbox 😉
Alright, let’s turn our attention back to this New Moon: we are being helped to go beyond the familiar, the comfortable, the customary. Here are some more questions you can ask yourself for the next two to four weeks: What is my vision? What do I want to create now? What needs to change to make this happen?
The highest expression of the Aries energy is expressed when we lead others by example and inspiration — they follow because they see our courage, our enthusiasm for life, and they want to be a part of that. Ask yourself: What if I dared to lead responsibly and with integrity? What if I were the one who inspires others and makes a difference? What is the smallest difference I could make? What is the largest?
Do your best to tap into the very core of your being — your vision, your purpose — and don’t be fooled: it is an essential part of the collective journey. Be an agent of change! Have the courage to step up and step out! To quote the great jewish scholar, Hillel: “If not you, then who? If not now, when?”
Some bonus questions you can ask yourself for the next 2 weeks: What do I see that needs changing? What do I feel most passionate about? Where do I need to take a stand? What if I approached things with 5% more maturity? What is the outcome that serves long-term?
To sum it all up for this New Moon: As best as you can, commit to something larger than yourself. Listen to your inner voice and bring your passionate Self to the world. Remember that each of us makes this journey in our own way, in our own time, so focus on yourself — your path, your truth — rather than on what lies beyond your control.
Spring is an excellent time to do a cleanse on all levels. Ask yourself: What changes have already been in the back of my mind for months now? What first step looks inviting?
Remember, the ultimate goal of this New Moon is to tap into our inner warrior — a mature warrior that generates and protects, rather than the shadow warrior who exploits and destroys — who is courageous, rather than combative, assertive rather than aggressive.

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 24-28 degrees of either Aries, Libra, Capricorn or Cancer? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle (this process is especially powerful with the New Moon in Aries). Intentions are best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact — and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase.
So this month, we have two periods that are great times to set intentions: the first one is the roughly four hours that lie between 9:57pm Sunday late evening (April 15th) and 1:59am Monday very early morning (April 16th).
If you aren’t able to set intentions during that time period, wait a few hours, and do so between 4:51am on Monday and 6:05pm EDT, Tuesday April 17th. For more info on setting New Moon Intentions click here
Here’s a few bonus questions: Where could I have “beginner’s mind”? What do I want to create in this particular “right now”, this instant of time? What if I were to tap into my inner courage and passion for life, right here, right now? Where am I being called to take a risk and try something new?
A head’s up for next Monday (April 16th): the Moon remains in Aries until 4:51am EDT (see Friday late evening for details). At 1:59am EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for almost 3 hours, until 4:51am EDT. At 4:51am EDT, the Moon moves into Taurus, where it will journey until Wednesday early morning. Also on Monday, the Pluto Station intensifies at 21 degrees of Capricorn until April 28th. More about all the details in next week’s forecast 😉

Thank you for reaching out, Shera. Happy to hear that you are looking forward to seeing my next video 😉 I will be recording the New Moon video today and it will be posted by tomorrow the latest 😉 Love and blessings, Sonja
Thank you for all the knowledge. Would it be possible to also have a print format? thank you. Alice
Thank you for reaching out, Alice. I believe that you can print out the Weekly Forecast via your internet browser. If you go to “File” and then print, or you also could click on PDF once the print window has opened and open in preview. That way you can print out only the sections of the blog you want to print out 😉 That’s all I can offer you at this time. If that changes in the future, I will let you know right away 😉 Love and blessings, Sonja
I love you, Sonja thank you for all you do!
🙂 Happy New Moon, Erin! Xo
