Taking it One Step at a Time — Forecast for Aug. 20th – 26th
This week’s headline items: the Mars station phase begins to intensify on Monday; Uranus ends it’s station phase late Monday night/Tuesday very early morning; the Sun changes signs from Leo to Virgo late Wednesday night/Thursday very early morning; Mercury ends it’s station phase on Friday, a Grand Earth Trine will be at its strongest on Saturday; on Sunday morning, the Full Moon in Pisces becomes exact — bringing Eclipse Season to a close.
There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Monday evening (for a little over 4 hours), Thursday late morning (a little over 2.5 hours), and Friday night/Saturday very early morning (almost 25 hours).
Before we get to this week’s forecast, I have one quick announcement:

Now, this week’s Forecast:
Monday (Aug. 20th): the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day. We’re strongly motivated to explore and learn. We’re not likely to be big fans of routine — diversity and new adventures work best at this time — we’re also physically restless and need to burn that off with activity and physical exercise.
We tend to feel more open, optimistic and inspired — but we also have a high degree of independence — and taking these two influences together, this means we’d rather inspire others to do things our way, as opposed to issuing or obeying orders. Inspiring others could come easier than normal, as we can see the bigger picture, leaving us confident that others will agree with us, once they see what we see.
As best as you can, speak your truth without assuming that everyone is on the same page as you. Improvisation works well for us at this time, as we are spontaneous and love living on the edge — just watch out you aren’t overdoing or overstating things.
Monday at 7:47pm EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last a little over 4 hours, until 12:00am EDT (Monday night/Tuesday very early morning). Use this intuitive time to enjoy your day as much as you can — you have plenty of energy, so use it to explore something new about life or yourself — have some fun!
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday evening until the very early morning ahead of time.
Also on Monday, the Mars Station intensifies. Mars started to slow down already on Aug. 8th. It will come to a halt on Aug. 27th in 28.5 degrees of Capricorn — ending its 2-month retrograde phase — and will move more slowly for a couple of weeks. Between now and Sept. 3rd, anything connected to Mars’s energy will come into our awareness even more strongly: We are being invited to pay attention to what this planet is trying to communicate to us.
Mars represents our assertiveness, independence and “masculine” energy. It is also associated with new initiatives, going after one’s goals, and with physical actions. With Mars’ energy even more exalted, we are more aware of these things — but are not necessarily able to do anything about any of it yet.
This may bring up impatience, frustration or even outright anger. What’s more, since Mars is in Capricorn right now, we may express this anger towards authority figures, or towards ourselves in regards to our accomplishments or lack thereof… In that case, try taking it one step at a time and bring a mature attitude to the table; this could prove an inspired way to deal with it all. Physical exercise could also be a great way to tap into these energies.
Do your best to slow down, get present, and allow for it all to unfold — because one thing is for sure: you will make progress very soon — it’s just a matter of time, and timing is everything. Ask yourself: What do I become most aware of when I consider my accomplishments? What single action step would take me one step closer towards my goals? What might be possible if I took it one moment at a time, staying very present with “what is”? What would impatience do? What has it done so far?
Is your Sun-sign or Ascendant in Aries? Or perhaps you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following:…

… 26-29 degrees of Capricorn, Cancer, Aries, Libra or 0-1 degrees of Aquarius, Leo, Taurus, or Scorpio. If so, you are more affected by this station phase.
Tuesday very early morning (Aug. 21st), at 12:00am EDT, the Moon moves into practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn, where it will journey until Thursday early afternoon. The Capricorn Moon emphasizes our need for structure and forward planning. We are motivated by a desire for success; achievement and manifestation are paramount.
We are resourceful and pursue economy with time, energy, and other resources. We take things more seriously during Moon in Capricorn: we look reality in the eye. This can be a very productive period. As best as you can, avoid “should-ing” on yourself. Take the pressure off: try saying “I am doing the best I can and that’s all I can ever do” 😉
Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn; it is currently transiting through its own sign, making this a great time to take a look at our long-term aspirations and anything that we would like to master over the next 2.5 years. It’s also a great time to take a more serious look at our strategies for self-mastery.
For starters: Do you truly see “what’s so” in your life (as opposed to what you merely wish it to be, or what you would like it to be, or where you see yourself going, etc)? What is actually so right now? Once you have a handle on where “A” is, it’s easier to “go from A to B” — whether “B” is self-mastery or standing on the mountaintop.
Monday night/Tuesday very early morning, the Uranus station phase ends. Uranus resumes its normal pace through the sky. What has come up in the last four weeks around radical change, personal freedom, and needing to individuate? How closely are you in touch with your personal vision for life? What role does self-esteem play in all of this?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 0-5 degrees of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, or Aquarius. If so, you felt this station phase quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aquarius (Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius).
Tuesday early evening, a somewhat challenging Sun/Mars aspect becomes exact at 6:52pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Monday evening on, it will remain strong until Wednesday evening. We feel uneasy about something, sort of awkward; we need to make a choice. We need to develop inner awareness, so we can make adjustments.
This might concern compromising with others. Our enthusiasm might make us impatient or hasty with others. As best as you can, keep choosing the “better” alternative, adjusting as needed.
When life slows down, or becomes uncomfortable, simplify and be patient. We are changing and growing in ways that we can’t comprehend right now. Stay as open and observant as you can — especially since Mars is still exalted due to its station phase…
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 28-29 degrees of Leo, Capricorn, or 0-1 degrees of Virgo or Aquarius. If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Aries (the Sun rules Leo; Mars rules Aries)
Wednesday (Aug. 22nd): the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn all day (see Tuesday very early morning for details).
Wednesday late afternoon, a somewhat challenging Venus/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 5:10pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Tuesday morning on, it will remain strong until Thursday evening. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward — and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed in order to see what needs adjusting.
We may have an unrealistic sense of our ability to relate right now and be attracted to others based on inaccurate perceptions — and on incorrect appraisals of who we are and where we are going. We might also get confused when we aren’t able to connect with others in harmonious ways. As we show genuine self-acceptance, and trusting our connection to the divine, our range of expression for love increases.
It is also worthwhile to look more carefully at how our ideas are received by others. Can we involve them in our dreams? As best as you can, slow down: “If a thing is worth having, it’s worth waiting for.” Just for right now, could you simply have faith that everything will align eventually?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 14-17 degrees of Libra or Pisces? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Pisces (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Neptune is the ruler of Pisces).
Wednesday night/Thursday very early morning at 12:09am EDT, the Sun changes signs from playful, vital Leo into practical, detail-oriented Virgo. It will journey through Virgo until September 22nd. This time is best used for getting our lives in order and expressing ourselves in realistic, practical terms.
Addressing your health (e.g., starting a new exercise or eating routine) might be just the thing within the next four weeks. Being of service and moving towards improving our living conditions are essential Virgo qualities. How might you be of service to others? What needs a little practical improvement?
All this is especially true if you are a Leo or Virgo Sun-sign or Rising-sign. Virgo folks will feel extra confident and playful; Leo people are more aware of the details and more grounded in reality.
Thursday (Aug. 23rd): the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn until 12:56pm EDT (see Tuesday very early morning for details).
Thursday at 10:19am EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last a little over 2.5 hours, until 12:56pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to put some work in toward long-term goals — especially anything you’ve been meaning to get to for a while…
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Thursday late morning until the early afternoon ahead of time.
Thursday at 12:56pm EDT, the Moon moves into freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius, where it will journey until Sunday very early morning. The energy of the Aquarian Moon relates to our instinct for improvement. Reactions are more intellectual than emotional; interactions more impersonal than personal. We are likely to have an increased fascination with the new and unusual.
Social gatherings, anything connected with group ideals and goals for the future, brainstorming, new ideas and methods, progress: all these are promoted during the time the Moon moves through Aquarius. Again: we have our eyes on the future — or on outer space 🙂 Personal freedom becomes paramount.
Thursday late afternoon: brings an opportunity to do some healing around being different — being other than what is expected of us — when it comes to our inner masculine drive.
Friday (Aug. 24th): the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius all day (see Thursday early afternoon for details).
Friday late morning, a somewhat challenging Sun/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 10:50am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Thursday on, it will remain strong until Saturday. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward — and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed if we’re to see what needs adjusting.
We may feel an internal dilemma around our ability to get things done — a drop in our self-confidence and self-esteem. This could lead to us “hiding out”… which leaves us feeling strangely guilty… which leads to us saying weird things… and we end up thinking “did I really just do that?”
As best as you can, be kind and compassionate with yourself — forgive yourself for having a human moment — this will support your healing process.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 0-3 degrees of Virgo or Aries? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo (the Sun rules of Leo).
Friday night/Saturday very early morning, at 12:39am EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for almost 25 hours, until 1:32am EDT (Saturday night/Sunday very early morning). Use this intuitive time to connect to like-minded people, friends or associates — as this is definitely a social time. As best as you can, have stimulating conversations — and allow for collaboration on a unique vision for humanity.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Friday night until Sunday very early morning ahead of time.
Also on Friday, the Mercury station phase ends (at 11.5 degrees of Leo). Mercury resumes its normal pace through the sky. Communication and transportation is now back to “normal”, as are any associated gadgets, vehicles, etc. New ideas and information received during the Mercury retrograde phase (July 26th — Aug. 19th) can now be reviewed. What did you discover about your inner dialogue — especially when it comes to your “joie de vivre” (joy of living) — during that time?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 9-14 degrees of Leo, Aquarius, Taurus or Scorpio. If so, you felt this station phase quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo).
Saturday (Aug. 25th): the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius and Moon VoC all day (see Thursday early afternoon and Friday night for details).
Saturday early afternoon, a harmonious Sun/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 12:38pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Wednesday on, it will remain strong until next week, Tuesday evening (Aug. 28th). This aspect is part of a Grand Earth Trine: connected to the Sun, Uranus and Saturn — more on that later…
This aspect connects us to a strong energy field — physical and metaphysical. We feel alive, we want to create a better future for ourselves and others, and we want to do a good job. Watch out for messages from the Universe 🙂
Originality and innovation come easy to us, as does connection with like-minded people. We can celebrate (and leverage) our idealism and unorthodox approaches to life’s challenges. What if you expressed what’s uniquely “you” without apologies? What if you could even do it with authenticity and a sense of wholeness? And, looking at things from a different angle: What might be possible in our daily and financial lives if we had a bigger network of like-minded people?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 29 degrees of Leo, Aries, Sagittarius, or 0-6 degrees of Virgo, Taurus, or Capricorn? If so, you will be more blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aquarius or Leo (the Sun rules Leo; Uranus rules Aquarius).
Saturday early evening, a harmonious Sun/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 6:07pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Wednesday on, it will remain strong until next week, Tuesday evening (Aug. 28th). This is also part of the Grand Earth Trine: connected to the Sun, Uranus and Saturn — more on that later…
Commitment and discipline are the keys to understanding our heart’s desire right now. We face life on life’s terms and feel up to doing so (especially when it comes to our creative self-expression).
Ask yourself: What could I achieve if I bought 5% more authentic self-expression to my long-term plans?
Paradoxically, we can also bring a more mature approach to exploring our “inner child” energy. How might a supportive “inner parent” help your “inner child” feel safe to play? How might taking a practical approach to our daily routines serve the long-term vision of ourselves? What if we applied that same approach to health-related routines?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 29 degrees of Leo, Aries, Sagittarius, or 0-6 degrees of Virgo, Capricorn, or Taurus? Or your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Capricorn (the Sun rules Leo; Saturn rules Capricorn)? If either of those is true, you can expect to be more blessed by this aspect 🙂
The Grand Earth Trine connected to the Sun, Saturn, and Uranus is exact today (Aug. 25th) in 2/3 degrees of Virgo/Capricorn/Taurus; we started to feel this Grand Trine build from Wednesday on, it will remain strong until Aug. 28th. It brings flow and ease to practical endeavors, provides a wonderful opportunity to connect to our chief commitments, and what frees us and others up long-term.
What are you currently manifesting? When you look at that, what do you discover about your relationship to the physical world? What might you want to change, that is not supporting that relationship? What if you connected to the physical world in a unique way? If that feels like too much of a stretch, what if you at least explored a different way from those you have explored until now?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 0-5 degrees of Virgo, Capricorn, or Taurus? If so, you will feel more blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo, Capricorn, or Aquarius (The Sun is the ruler of Leo; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn; and Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius).
Sunday (Aug. 26th): the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius and Moon VoC until 1:32am EDT (see Thursday early afternoon and Friday night for details).
Sunday very early morning, at 1:32am EDT, the Moon moves into creative, sensitive Pisces, where it will journey until next week Tuesday early afternoon (Aug. 28th). This Moon placement also starts the build up to the Full Moon exact later this morning (more about that in a moment…) This Moon placement often finds us more sensitive, intuitive, idealistic and imaginative than normal. We also have a greater capacity for compassion, sympathy, and affection for all — but especially for those who suffer or can be regarded as the underdog.
But… that very idealism could also be our downfall at this time: We tend to see the best in everyone and everything, and when reality doesn’t match our idyllic vision, we might feel upset and even victimized by those harsh realities. A way out of this is to channel our idealism into spiritual or creative endeavors.
It’s also a great time for releasing fears — especially the ones based on a sense of separation — and experiencing “oneness”. Feelings tend to flow more freely; as best as you can, let them — in fact, “going with the flow” is the best way to go for the next couple of days.
Sunday at 7:56am EDT, the Sun opposes the Moon in 3 degrees of Pisces. The Moon in creative, free-flowing Pisces makes an opposition to the Sun in detail-oriented, practical Virgo — and the entrance of the Moon into Pisces early this morning started the energetic build up towards the Full Moon.
With this Full Moon, we are coming to the end of Eclipse season; our consciousness upgrades are now complete and we are thus ready for the next level of our evolution! Congrats everyone! 🙂
The Virgo/Pisces polarity has to do with our ability to connect the head with the heart, logic with intuition, matter with spirit — you may also want to watch my video on the subject: click here
So, the question is: how do we integrate Pisces and Virgo?
This may seem a challenging question, given Virgo’s detailed, analytical understanding, in contrast with Pisces‘ call to open our heart and allow for all… even what seems paradoxical to the mind. In fact, on an energetic level there is no separation, everything is interconnected — we need both left- and right-brain (the logical and the creative).
Ask yourself: What if nothing and no one were separate? Appearing to be different, yes, but not separate…
The mind acts like a filtering mechanism that helps us to focus and function more efficiently. Virgo analyzes, Pisces feels, senses. Virgo seeks physical wholeness, Pisces reminds us of a greater wholeness, a spiritual wholeness — our interconnectedness with all of life, the allowing of all the mysteries of life.
To be at its best, Virgo aims for practical applications and to be of service, while Pisces learns to listen to inner/intuitive guidance above all else, using its imagination to bring love and light into this world, to sprinkle mystery fairy dust, and to create Paradise on Earth.
When these two archetypes are balanced within, we discern without judgment, serve with an open heart, and improve our daily lives without getting hung up on timing or perfectionism, bringing love and compassion to all of life’s apparent curveballs.
That said, let’s also talk about the shadow side of those signs, as we do with all Full Moons:
Virgo’s shadow side is self-deprecation and judgment; the latter creates separation from others and a split within ourselves. It closes our heart and limits our ability to learn, keeps us stuck in duality, where we defend and justify our position, or shame others. When we come from this place, we leave no room for mistakes, and have no spaciousness with ourselves or life.
Ask yourself: What if I did 5% less “perfection” and 5% more “process of improvements”? Could I be of service and still keep learning? What if it were ok if I didn’t know everything 100%?
How might “making mistakes” be beneficial to me? What if I celebrated “mistakes” as stepping stones to a better life?
Simply observe: Does my inner dialog observe and discern what is useful vs. unproductive (what works or what doesn’t)… or label things as “good or bad”, “right or wrong”?
You could say that Pisces is an antidote to judgment. In its lightest expression, it understands that we are all souls in various states of development, with different paths in the world — we are all love at our core, and everything is ultimately an expression or variation of love.
The shadow side of Pisces is a lack of boundaries, escapism of various sorts (this stems from being highly sensitive — feeling everything — and becoming overwhelmed), even victimization (stemming from resignation, passivity, and uncertainty, leading to “why is this happening to me?”).
Ask yourself: What if the way out of overwhelm was simply the first small step towards what this now moment is calling for? Or do I perhaps need more information? Could I allow for more answers to come through? If you feel confused by what you are sensing (or feeling), simply ask yourself: Is what I’m sensing or feeling “mine”? Or someone else’s?
As you may have guessed, the remedy for the Pisces shadow is the lighter vibrations of Virgo, including: the ability to focus on what works, versus what doesn’t, the ability to make practical choices, the best use of our daily engagements, and taking care of our physical well-being. When the Pisces– and Virgo-energies are integrated, we marry a clear, observant mind with a compassionate and loving heart — a mind that serves in partnership with our intuitive sensing!
Ask yourself: What tools might shift my view of reality from duality to unity? From separation to oneness? From either/or, to both/and? From the mind-activity of wanting to understand and “know” to the heart-activity of understanding? Could I start this process with myself and move further out from there?
The Moon in Pisces sextiles Saturn in Capricorn and Uranus in Taurus, and the Sun in Virgo makes a Trine to Saturn and Uranus. This creates a beautiful Kite-configuration that includes one Grand Earth Trine and two Sextiles. In a Kite-configuration, the planet connected to the two Sextiles points to our opportunity for forward movement and growth — in this case, that would be the Moon in Pisces.
Ask yourself: How might a compassionate heart help me tap into my inner genius? Or my unique sense of self? What if my imagination was the very thing that supported me in effortlessly reaching my long-term goals?
What might be possible if I trusted the timing of everything that is currently unfolding? What if acceptance was key to manifesting my goals? What if the same was true when it comes to taking care of my daily routines? My health routines? What if accepting my current limitations were the perfect starting point?
Neptune, the modern ruler of Pisces, is currently in its own sign — and makes a Quincunx to Mercury (the ruler of Virgo). This indicates some inner struggles or adjustments that need to be made — we may feel confused at times, as we are feeling an internal pull in some very different directions — going within, slowing things down and getting quiet, vs. expressing ourselves full-out in the world, and playfully connecting from the heart.
Honesty is crucial here, especially with ourselves; inner awareness is in turn crucial to deep self-honesty and authenticity. Ask yourself: What am I sensing? Intuiting? What asks to be expressed? Lived? Created? Where does the inner experience of love and connectedness meet the outer ? How could I learn more about self-love? What if I also loved the world as if it was a reflection of my heart and soul?
Mercury is in Leo (retrograde until Aug. 19th, and then in its Shadow phase until Sept. 2nd); we are thus invited to share our insights about joy and self-expression with others, and follow through on what we have learned.
Ask yourself: What needs to be addressed now around self-expression? Joy? If every thought either added or subtracted from my ability to experience joy, what would I say more to myself? What would I say less?
What am I grateful for? If I had to choose something, what would I choose to celebrate about myself? What has come up (or been processed) in the last three weeks in regards to all of the above?
The Sun in Virgo makes a Quincunx to Chiron in Aries. This is another aspect that operates more on an internal level: we feel uneasy or “awkward” about something and need to make a choice. We may also feel our self-confidence drop, leading to us “hide out”… This, in turn, leaves us feeling strangely guilty or ashamed.
Ask yourself: What if I allowed myself to be “fully-human” rather than trying to be “super-human”? What would “Kindness” do?
What if I gave 5% more love and understanding to my inner wounds or insecurities around what “true” masculinity or femininity looks like? What have I been avoiding or rejecting about myself? About life? Where have I been trying to “fix” myself? What if I were to bring just 5% more love to those areas?
Love is the most powerful healing force there is — so, as best as you can, harness the energy of love, compassion, gratitude and forgiveness! And what’s more, aim it towards yourself, first and foremost, because what you do for yourself has a ripple effect that will be felt by others.
Mars is stationing at the time of this Full Moon, and comes to a halt at 28.5 degrees of Capricorn approximately 26 hours after the Full Moon becomes exact, ending its 2-month retrograde phase. Its energy is therefore extremely exalted (heightened) at this time.
Once direct, on Aug. 27th, we slowly shift our focus back towards the outer world — and may also want to start taking actions on our Solar Eclipse Intentions (again, wait until after the 27th — I recommend the 28th in the afternoon East Coast Time)
Ask yourself: What have I discovered about my inner masculine in the past two months? What did I learn about “being unattached”? Independent vs. interdependent? What did I learn about my anger, my triggers? Where might I go from here? How do I apply my findings in concrete ways? What needs to be addressed with regards to being different — allowing for differences between me and others?
In our next Forecasting Forum, we will talk about two stations: the Mars Station in 28.5º of Capricorn (and we’ll also discuss the planet going direct on Aug. 27th), and the Saturn Station in 2.5º of Capricorn (Saturn will go direct on Sept. 6th) If you want to know how to align yourself with these planetary movements, join me live on Aug. 28th at 2pm PDT/5pm EDT/10pm BST (London-time), or sign up for the mp4-video presentation. A final note: This Full Moon highlights the importance of developing, and trusting, our feminine energies, represented by the Moon in Pisces.
We are invited to allow for the flow of things and let go of destructive attachments and connections. Ask yourself: How can I grow and evolve in my relationships? Is there a relationship that I need to grow and evolve out of?
As best as you can, stay grounded in love, not fear. Stay flexible and open-minded. Nurture yourself; make sure you have everything you need to come from a place of inner strength & empowerment.
Each day, indeed each moment, each breath, we have a choice. If we don’t like what happens, we can go into regret, or place blame on something or someone (ourselves included) — or we can set the intention to choose differently the next time around. Each now moment is a new moment — and each new moment empowers us to make new choices — if we choose to do so 😉
As best as you can, be kind and compassionate with yourself — forgive yourself for having a human moment, if that should happen 🙂 This will support your healing process: Healing happens best when we allow ourselves to be exactly where we are, even if it’s not where we might prefer to be.
For the next two weeks, as best as you can, trust your inner sensing. Listen to your heart. Surround yourself with caring, loving energies. Sift, sort, and simply let go of whatever is cluttering your life.
Ask yourself: What if the greatest gift I could give myself was the liberation of my heart-energies? What if I allowed my thinking to shift from “I am separate” to the experience of oneness? Might that let me tap into the energy field that surrounds me and others?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 1-5 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you are more affected by this Full Moon. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
Again, feel free to also watch my video about this Full Moon: click here to watch — and in the meantime, I will leave you with this beautiful quote from Swami Beyondananda (the author of Driving Your Own Karma), that really resonates with this Full Moon: “We are not here to earn God’s love, we are here to spend it!”
Sunday afternoon, a challenging Venus/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 3:21pm EDT. We start to feel this aspect build from Thursday morning on, it will remain strong until next week Thursday morning (Aug. 30th). The Universe is asking us to stretch and grow.
Venus represents our relationships and that which we most value; these areas may undergo major transformations. This aspect challenges us to find meaning in our life through partnerships. We must now uncover the deeper layer of our life. With Pluto in the mix, social interactions could be intense.
You may see changes in financial status or relationships. In the latter, things erupt that have been brewing beneath the surface for some time; this may prove disruptive: As best you can, empower rather than disempower. We may become obsessed with our commitments and our partner during this time.
We may also experience Pluto through our partner, experiencing manipulation and controlling behaviors; we must be especially wary of resisting change and holding onto negative attachments. It’s time to let go of destructive attachments and connections. How can we grow and evolve in our relationships? Is there a relationship that we need to grow and evolve out of?
This aspect could also express itself through sexual tension; there is a strong desire for love in its physical expression. However, keep your standards high, so you can come upon a love that fulfills all your needs — definitely don’t start a relationship with “just anyone”, in order to avoid being alone.
Remember to be true to your own values; wait for someone with whom you can have a relationship based on trust, love and a genuine desire for intimacy — and work on being worth finding, in the meantime 🙂 As best as you can, stay grounded in love, not fear. Stay flexible and open-minded. As best as you can, nurture yourself; make sure you have everything you need to be able to come from a place of inner strength & empowerment.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 16-22 of Libra, Capricorn, Aries or Cancer? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Scorpio (Venus being the ruler of Taurus and Libra, while Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio).
Sunday late evening, a somewhat challenging Mercury/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 8:29pm EDT. We start to feel this aspect build from Saturday evening on, it will remain strong until next week, Monday evening (Aug. 27th). This could contribute either to some mental confusion and spaciness, or the need to communicate with others from our imagination (but possibly not knowing how to achieve that).
This aspect operates more on an internal level: We feel uneasy about something, sort of “awkward” — and we need to make a choice. Sometimes, imagination and mind can run way ahead of what is actually feasible (and sensible). At these times, the grand vision is best served by focusing on the next concrete step, accepting our own idiosyncrasies as we go.
Honesty is crucial here, especially self-honesty; inner awareness is in turn crucial to deep honesty and authenticity. What’s true for you? What might be possible for humanity? Where do those overlap?
Note that I say “overlap”: Don’t look for an exact fit, this is more like two puzzle pieces that came from different jigsaw puzzles. You might keep looking at the imperfect fit and feel a nagging sense that something doesn’t make sense… and it doesn’t — it can’t. The pieces are not from the same game. Just do your best to “hang out” with the discomfort, rather than repeatedly trying to figure it out and fix it.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 14-17 degrees of Leo or Pisces? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Pisces (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Neptune rules Pisces).
A heads up for next Monday (Aug. 27th): the Moon remains in Pisces all day. The Mars retrograde ends in 28.5 degrees of Capricorn, as Mars comes to a halt at 10:05am EDT, to go direct once again. The Moon in Pisces sextiles Pluto in Capricorn at 3:14pm EDT, and quincunxes Venus in Libra at 5:06pm EDT. More about the details in next week’s forecast.
One More Announcement:
Join me for my next FORECASTING FORUM on Tuesday, August 28th at 2pm PDT/5pm EDT/10pm BST (London-time). Please note that we’ll talk about the Mars Station in 28.5º of Capricorn (goes direct on Aug. 27th), and the Saturn Station in 2.5º of Capricorn (goes direct on Sept. 6th)

Here is a testimonial from one of our participants right after joining our most recent Forum:
“Sonja, just wanted to let you know how much I am enjoying being a member of your evolving community. As a highly energetic sensitive …I love sitting in the energy field and feeling all the new members, and energetically sensing their appreciation of the community your are gathering. It is such a joy for me to see you, and next few generations coming of age, and stepping out so beautifully to share your wisdom. This is why I have joined your community. So that I may sit in the virtual circle, and hold an open loving supportive space, as we continue to unfold, co-create and co-evolve as a conscious community. With Much Love and Gratitude.” — Kate N.
