Taking it One Step at a Time — Forecast for Aug. 20th – 26th

This week’s headline items: the Mars station phase begins to intensify on Monday; Uranus ends it’s station phase late Monday night/Tuesday very early morning; the Sun changes signs from Leo to Virgo late Wednesday night/Thursday very early morning; Mercury ends it’s station phase on Friday, a Grand Earth Trine will be at its strongest on Saturday; on Sunday morning, the Full Moon in Pisces becomes exact — bringing Eclipse Season to a close.

There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Monday evening (for a little over 4 hours), Thursday late morning (a little over 2.5 hours), and Friday night/Saturday very early morning (almost 25 hours).

Before we get to this week’s forecast, I have one quick announcement:
Join us for next week’s Forecasting Forum! We will cover the Mars and Saturn station phases, as well as what happens when both of these planets in Capricorn start going direct again.

For this month only you can get a FREE copy of the Eclipse webinar (from early August) by signing up for either the next two Forecasting Forums in advance — click here to take advantage of that deal; by joining as a Star or SuperStar Member by the end of the month: click here to join, or upgrade your Universal Membership via your “My Subscriptions” tab inside your Members account by August 28th 😉

Now, this week’s Forecast:

Monday (Aug. 20th): the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day. We’re strongly motivated to explore and learn. We’re not likely to be big fans of routine — diversity and new adventures work best at this time — we’re also physically restless and need to burn that off with activity and physical exercise.

We tend to feel more open, optimistic and inspired — but we also have a high degree of independence — and taking these two influences together, this means we’d rather inspire others to do things our way, as opposed to issuing or obeying orders. Inspiring others could come easier than normal, as we can see the bigger picture, leaving us confident that others will agree with us, once they see what we see.

As best as you can, speak your truth without assuming that everyone is on the same page as you. Improvisation works well for us at this time, as we are spontaneous and love living on the edge — just watch out you aren’t overdoing or overstating things.

Monday at 7:47pm EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last a little over 4 hours, until 12:00am EDT (Monday night/Tuesday very early morning). Use this intuitive time to enjoy your day as much as you can — you have plenty of energy, so use it to explore something new about life or yourself — have some fun!

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday evening until the very early morning ahead of time.

Also on Monday, the Mars Station intensifies. Mars started to slow down already on Aug. 8th. It will come to a halt on Aug. 27th in 28.5 degrees of Capricorn — ending its 2-month retrograde phase — and will move more slowly for a couple of weeks. Between now and Sept. 3rd, anything connected to Mars’s energy will come into our awareness even more strongly: We are being invited to pay attention to what this planet is trying to communicate to us.

Mars represents our assertiveness, independence and “masculine” energy. It is also associated with new initiatives, going after one’s goals, and with physical actions. With Mars’ energy even more exalted, we are more aware of these things — but are not necessarily able to do anything about any of it yet.

This may bring up impatience, frustration or even outright anger. What’s more, since Mars is in Capricorn right now, we may express this anger towards authority figures, or towards ourselves in  regards to our accomplishments or lack thereof… In that case, try taking it one step at a time and bring a mature attitude to the table; this could prove an inspired way to deal with it all. Physical exercise could also be a great way to tap into these energies.

Do your best to slow down, get present, and allow for it all to unfold — because one thing is for sure: you will make progress very soon — it’s just a matter of time, and timing is everything.  Ask yourself: What do I become most aware of when I consider my accomplishments? What single action step would take me one step closer towards my goals? What might be possible if I took it one moment at a time, staying very present with “what is”? What would impatience do? What has it done so far?
