Our Inner Wolf is Wide-Awake
This week’s headline items: we are still in Eclipse season all week; Venus starts to slow down (station) on Wednesday, preparing for her Retrograde phase. On Thursday, Chiron stations (again) — preparing to end its 5-month Retrograde phase; and the First Quarter Moon in Pisces becomes exact on Friday evening.
There will be three Moon VoC phases this week: Monday very late evening (for a little over 7 hours); Thursday early morning (for almost 5 hours); and Saturday afternoon (for a little over 2 hours).
Before we get to this week’s forecast, I’d like to make an important announcement:
A very talented new Certified Soul-Based Astrologer is joining my practice. Her name is Lia Pelusi, and she will start giving 60 minute Whole Life Readings for $125.

Now, this week’s Forecast…
Monday, December 6th:
Monday, the Moon remains in ambitious, goal-oriented Capricorn all day. It will journey there until Tuesday morning. We tend to be more realistic, serious, cautious; this can support practical endeavors and financial matters.
Our ambition surges and brings with it a need for structure and planning; when you add in the pragmatism this aspect supports, you can see how this could be a very productive time for business and long-term goals. Our reputation becomes very important to us.
As best as you can during this aspect, avoid “should-ing” on yourself. Take the pressure off, perhaps by saying “I am doing the best I can and that’s all I can ever do” 😉
Monday after 2:43am EST, it’s finally time to set our Solar Eclipse Intentions…. since we just had an Eclipse, we get to set some powerful intentions for the entire length of an Eclipse cycle — in other words, for the next 6 months!
Between 2:43am and 11:42pm EST today (Dec. 6th) is the best and most potent time to do so.
Make them powerful: They cover the next six months. If possible, align them with the Sagittarian energy that I spoke about in my Solar Eclipse video — feel free to watch it again if you are not sure anymore — click here to watch my video.
While writing your intentions, ask yourself: Where do I insist on “being right”? How do I usually feel afterward? Could I bring an open & compassionate awareness to this?
What stories have I been telling myself about life? If I don’t go into stories, what universal truths feel immediately in alignment with my direct experience of life right now?
For more info on how to best set your Eclipse Intentions, click here to read my article on the subject.
Monday morning, an opportune Mars/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 6:41am EST. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Friday (Dec. 3rd) on; and it will remain strong until this week, Thursday evening (Dec. 9th). This brings an opportunity to connect our personal passions to our Soul’s passions. We are resourceful and persistent when pursuing a goal, bringing tremendous effort and focus to bear.
This is an opportunity to be committed, determined and passionate, with no half-measures; it’s also an opportunity to feel more confident about our shared resources with others. Strategic thinking and execution are favored right now, as is eliminating wastes of time and energy; it’s also an opportunity for deeper insights into the social structures we want to transform.
Ask yourself: What is my relationship to power? Do I distinguish between the power that comes from within, versus that which is connected to external components?
Do I feel empowered in my chosen contributions to society and the world at large? Do I feel comfortable with the social structures that are currently in place — and with the limitations they bring? Could it perhaps be useful to release any fears of scarcity and resulting distrust? Could I use this as an opportunity to focus on the actions I can actually take to support a more empowered world?
Remember though: An “opportunity” is just an opening, it’s not automatically granted — we have to “step up” to the opening, then through it…
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 23-27 degrees of Scorpio, Capricorn, Pisces, or Virgo? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Scorpio (Mars is the ruler of Aries, so those folks will always be affected more strongly by Mars’s movements and aspects; Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio)
Monday late evening, at 11:42pm EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for a little over 7 hours, until 6:49am EST (Tuesday morning). Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to investigate your deepest motivations and align them with your long-term goals and achievements. We are capable of great focus for this period.
As with all opportunities in life, this one is not simply handed to us, we have to make something of it. Might deeper perspectives into our psyche move us closer to long-term goals?
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday late evening until Tuesday morning ahead of time.

Tuesday, Dec. 7th:
Tuesday, the Moon remains in ambitious, goal-oriented Capricorn & VoC until 6:49am EST (see Monday morning & late evening for details).
Tuesday, after 6:49am EST, is still time to set our Solar Eclipse Intentions (if you haven’t done so yet)…. again, since we just had an Eclipse, we get to set some powerful intentions for the entire length of an Eclipse cycle — in other words, for the next 6 months! Between 6:49am today (Dec. 7th) and 2:43am EST tomorrow (Wednesday, Dec. 8th) is the best and most potent time to do so.
Make them powerful: They cover the next six months. If possible, align them with the Sagittarian energy that I spoke about in my Solar Eclipse video — feel free to watch it again if you are not sure anymore — click here to watch my video.
While writing your intentions, ask yourself: Am I feeling particularly uncomfortable with my own social-cultural conditioning? How about other people’s? Do I have certain preferences that others are unable to align with? Do I have judgments about this?
For more info on how to best set your Eclipse Intentions, click here to read my article on the subject.
Tuesday, at 6:49am EST, the Moon moves into freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius, where it will journey until Thursday late morning. With this Moon placement, we often feel emotionally detached; when we do connect to our feelings, it’s typically from a cerebral, intellectual place. We need a cause or project that resonates — preferably one where we can connect with like-minded people.
For the next couple of days, we’ll tend to be more eccentric or experimental; future-related issues like politics or education call to us now, as do unusual or even esoteric subjects like Astrology, UFOs… indeed anything from outer space. Our scientific approach to things leans on originality and ingenuity; we definitely love being unconventional.
The increased value we place on personal and emotional independence could make us come off as indifferent or cold in one-on-one interactions. That said, we can still be friendly and kind, provided we aren’t pushed into doing something conventional or unethical.
Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius — and the planet is currently moving through Taurus, making these next two days a great time to take a look at our physical connection both to our own body and our finances — and to what is most important to us on this planet.
It’s also a great time to innovate and make changes in our lives around any physical matters that no longer serve us, or that keep us stuck in the past; we need to elevate our thinking if we want our bodies and the planet to vibrate at a higher frequency.
Ask yourself: Do I need to give my body something different to raise it to a higher vibration? When I tune in to myself, what insights does my body provide?
Where in my life have I become too rigid in connection with my body, my physical resources, or my talents? Where have I become too comfortable with those things? What is my connection to the Earth? To Nature? Do I need more physical space? More physical movement?
Tuesday late morning, a challenging Mercury/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 10:16am EST. We started to feel this aspect build from last week Sunday morning (Dec. 5th) and it will remain strong until this Thursday morning. This aspect asks us to stretch ourselves and grow.
We may experience a lack of clarity and objectivity. We might make embarrassing errors, neglect important details, or carry some delusions now. Our lack of clarity may make it difficult for others to understand us.
We are more imaginative now — and more easily swayed by the opinions of others. We can be highly creative and inspired under this influence, but also overly sensitive, touchy, or impractical. What might a creative approach to life be?
It can be hard to follow routines. Concentrating on monotonous tasks and work (or study that involves attention to detail or rote learning) may also be challenging at this time. As best as you can, be compassionate with yourself and others during these 5 days.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 17-24 degrees of Sagittarius, Pisces, Gemini, or Virgo? If so, you are more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo, or Pisces (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Neptune rules Pisces).
Wednesday, Dec. 8th:
Wednesday, the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius all day (see Tuesday morning for details).
Wednesday very early morning, a challenging Mars/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 1:21am EST. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Thursday evening (Dec. 2nd) on and it will remain strong until next week, Monday evening (Dec. 13th). This aspect is an opportunity to grow by stretching between two poles:
On the one hand, we feel eager to explore social perspectives, and connect to like-minded people; on the other hand, we also want to go deeper on an emotional level and connect more intimately and authentically.
We may thus have to address our fears and “issues” with others — and may also stretch ourselves too much, either by moving too fast or by trying to expand beyond what feels healthy and empowering. As best as you can, make adjustments and find creative solutions when it comes to these energies.
Whatever comes up, ask yourself: What am I ready to learn from my interactions with others? Is my enthusiasm running away with me? Does “this” truly feel comfortable to me? Empowering?
What fears or concerns are arising into consciousness? What if I simply shared my concerns without assuming the worst? How might 5% more courage to go deeper with others make my connections more meaningful? More authentic?
With this aspect, we seek excitement and growth right now; we may not be satisfied with how things are — we feel an inner restlessness that demands freedom and “space” but doesn’t necessarily return the favor. We may have a tendency to overdo or over-exert — and our expectations of ourselves and others might be way too high.
Ask yourself: What might open up if I expected 5% less of myself, just for today? What if I applied that to others too? Might my physical and mental energy levels help me be realistic about how much I can expect of myself right now?
With this aspect, we never feel that we have enough experiences, knowledge, connections, etc. — it’s difficult knowing when to stop. As best as you can, pause and reflect: this will help with that feeling that you can’t get enough, no matter what you do.
If we are going to get tripped up here, it would be because we don’t know when to stop (or say no).
That said: we needn’t expect to feel tormented — in fact, this could also be a playful and humorous time, with lots of joking around (including practical jokes) smiles, and laughter. The key to this aspect is connecting the desire to be fully and intimately connected to our desire for growth around our social or future-oriented explorations.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 23-29 degrees of Scorpio, Aquarius, Taurus, or Leo? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Sagittarius (Mars is the ruler of Aries, Jupiter of Sagittarius).
Also, on Wednesday, Venus starts her Station phase. The planet’s movement through the sky appears from Earth to be slowing down; it’s getting ready to come to a halt in 26.5 degrees of Capricorn and turn retrograde (for 6 weeks) on Dec. 19th.
The station brings all relationship, self-worth, and financial issues to the forefront. This stationing period lasts until Dec. 30th, bringing into focus what we have (or haven’t) accomplished out there in the world; we are similarly more aware of our business partnerships or the lack thereof. This station forces us to look at who we value (including ourselves) and what is truly important to us in our financial or long-term business relationships.
Ask yourself: Am I experiencing a lack of connection with others? What demands my attention when it comes to my long-term goals? Where do I need to look carefully at my ability to be realistic about what works, and what doesn’t, over the long term?
Since Pluto will be conjunct Venus at this time as well, you may also want to ask yourself: What fears or concerns are showing up for me? In what ways am I trying to protect myself from re-experiencing past pains or traumas in connection to my achievements or being successful out there in the world?
Could I give myself permission to simply observe what comes up? What if I kept my heart open, and my mind focused on what I actually have influence over, as best as I can manage?
It’s important to pay attention to any messages we get during the Station phase, because when Venus goes retrograde (on Dec. 19th – Jan. 29th), we’ll get a chance to address these issues from the inside out.
We will address the Venus Station & Retrograde phase in more detail in our next Forecasting Forum (live next Friday, Dec.17th)… And if you would like to find out how this might impact you personally, join us!

Is your Sun sign or Ascendant in Taurus or Libra? Or do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 22-28 degrees of Capricorn, Aries, Cancer, or Libra? If so, you will feel a stronger connection to this Venus station.
Thursday, Dec. 9th:
Thursday, the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius until 9:53am EST (see Tuesday morning for details).
Thursday early morning, at 5am EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for almost 5 hours until 9:53am EST. We are experiencing two quite different needs, pulling us in different directions: On the one hand, we feel a strong need to break the rules and move towards our future visions.
On the other hand, we want to connect to what feels familiar and comfortable. Do your best to use this intuitive time to make adjustments, slow things down a little, and find creative solutions that honor both drives.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Thursday morning ahead of time.
Thursday, at 9:53am EST, the Moon moves into creative, sensitive Pisces, where it will journey until Saturday late afternoon. This Moon placement often finds us more sensitive, intuitive, idealistic, and imaginative than normal. We also have a greater capacity for compassion, sympathy, and affection for all — but especially for those who suffer or can be regarded as the underdog.
But… that very idealism could also be our downfall at this time: We tend to see the best in everyone and everything, and when reality doesn’t match our idyllic vision, we might feel upset and even victimized by those harsh realities. A way out of this is to channel our idealism into spiritual or creative endeavors.
It’s also a great time for releasing fears — especially the ones based on a sense of separation — and experiencing “oneness”. Feelings tend to flow more freely; as best as you can, let them — in fact, “going with the flow” is the best way to go for the next couple of days.
Neptune is the ruler of Pisces — and it is currently in its own sign, making these next two days a great time to take a look at our inner spiritual connection to our “higher Self”, “Source”, “God/Goddess”.
It’s also a great time to allow all there is, as it is, and to go with the flow, following our intuitive voice as much as possible. We are being asked to tap into the “feminine” energies within ourselves so we can start to vibrate on a universal frequency.
Ask yourself: Is my “higher Self” asking for more introverted/inner love-time? If I tune in with my intuitive voice, what am I receiving? Sensing?
Where in my life have I become too disconnected from life? Love? God/Goddess? What is my connection to the spiritual realm? What about the “heart realm”? How could nature and/or animals teach me about those realms?
Do I need more downtime? More resting-time? More compassion? How might being kind to myself, and trusting the process of Life create a more loving connection with the universe?
This Moon placement also starts the build-up towards the first Quarter Moon, which will be exact on Friday evening.
Also, on Thursday, Chiron starts its Station phase in 8.5 degrees of Aries. It is slowing down as it gets ready to end its 5-month Retrograde phase, on Dec. 19th. We will feel the effects of its station until Dec. 31st; its energies are more exalted during this period.
Chiron is the Wounded Healer; in Aries, our attention is turned towards our physical and sexual wounds, and our wounding around our self-identity. Chiron represents our inner insecurities, those self-conscious and wounded places. Chiron also represents the inner wound of abandonment and our need to “make it on our own”.
We are invited to approach these wounds on a holistic level, to heal them such that others are healed thereby. This is accomplished very simply and naturally when we work with the true beauty and strength of this energy: Compassion. Having compassion for our own wounds heals them and allows healing compassion for the wounds we now see in others.
What physical or sexual wounding could you now acknowledge? Where are your insecurities around personal goals or being a leader in your own unique way? What needs your compassion or even your love? What needs to heal?

Do you have your Ascendant, your Career point, or any of your personal planets in 6-11 degrees of Aries, Libra, Cancer, or Capricorn? If you do, you will probably feel the effects of this station more than others.
Friday, Dec. 10th:
Friday, the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day (see Thursday late morning for details).
Friday morning, we get an opportunity to be very present, to connect with others and share a new vision about the Earth, or to reinvent how we connect with “the good things in life”. As best as you can, bring a sense of flow and faith to who you are being; allow yourself to intuitively share some progressive, new ideas about what is important to you, and things that could make the lives of yourself and others easier on a very practical level. (Moon in Pisces sextiles Uranus in Taurus, exact at 6:22am EST)
Friday evening, at 8:36pm EST, the First Quarter Moon in 19 degrees of Pisces becomes exact. We started to feel this aspect build from the moment the Moon entered Pisces, Thursday late morning. The Moon in creative, sensitive, compassionate Pisces makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius.
Last week (Dec. 4th) saw a powerful New Moon/Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius. If we set some intentions on Dec. 6th or 7th we are now ready to make some adjustments. This is a time to stretch and grow — and create some forward momentum — in fact, we may feel compelled to act, stirring up anxiety or overwhelm, so just go one breath at a time.
Remember, we’re still in Eclipse Season until Jan. 2nd, and thus don’t have all the information we need to move brand-new projects forward yet. Allow for changes, remain flexible and adaptable, and find creative solutions in day-to-day interactions with others. Allow also for new downloads and for the release of “old” codes and conditioning. Simply put: an open mind and heart will serve us best (that’s true in general, but especially true until Eclipse season ends 😉
Another thing to remember: if something is beginning or ending in a way that seems organic… allow it to be. As best as you can, observe your feelings and stay grounded in the “here and now”. Connect to your intuition and inner wisdom; they will help carry you through this period. We are receiving a consciousness upgrade — that’s a good thing!
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 17-21 degrees of Pisces, Sagittarius, Virgo or Gemini? If so, you will feel the effects of this first Quarter Moon more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
Friday evening, we’ll likely feel more sensitive, and need to slow down a little. This is a great time for spiritual or creative endeavors. Energy work (or anything that requires our intuitive side) will work best for the next several hours. You may also consider meditating when you get up (and if that’s not your thing right now, you could also consider sleeping in, or taking the first half of the day off 🙂 (Moon in Pisces conjuncts Neptune in Pisces, exact at 10:50pm EST)
Saturday, Dec. 11th:
Saturday, the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces until 4:46pm EST (see Thursday late morning for details).
Saturday late morning, a Venus/Pluto alignment in almost 25.5 degrees of Capricorn becomes exact at 11:29am EST. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Friday evening (Dec. 3rd) on, and due to Venus’ Retrograde phase, it will remain strong until Jan. 1st, 2022. This alignment brings out our passionate side. We uncompromisingly seek deep, totally authentic business connections, or long-term, realistic partnerships with others.
Our instincts are very strong right now, our inner wolf is wide-awake, and we can sniff out any unclean intentions right away. As best as you can, be completely truthful about your motivations and needs – if you try to duck this, it could get ugly, since everyone knows what everyone else is up to anyway.
What if you took 100% responsibility for getting what you want and need? What is the highest path to achieve that? As best as you can, find creative solutions and remain flexible. And as always when Pluto is involved, choose the power of love over the power of fear — whenever possible.
We will address the Venus Retrograde phase in Capricorn, in more detail in our next Forecasting Forum (live next Friday, Dec.17th)… And if you would like to find out how this might impact you personally, join us!
Click here to register for the last Forecasting Forum of the Year! ==> an EARLY BIRD Special is available until Dec. 14th at midnight!!!

Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 22-29 degrees of Capricorn, Aries, Cancer, or Libra? If so, you will feel this alignment quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra, or Scorpio (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Pluto rules Scorpio)
Saturday afternoon, an opportune Mercury/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 2:24pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Thursday night on and it will remain strong until next week, Monday (Dec. 13th). This aspect is an opportunity for us to expand our thinking and express ourselves with confidence and optimism — we share what’s important to us from a place of open-mindedness and excitement.
This connection also creates a possibility of an expansion, as we step into uncharted territory — and humor can be a great guide through this unfamiliar terrain. This planetary connection also favors short trips, writing, teaching, studying, and making observations. We more readily exercise good judgment and are more “philosophical” and open to learning.
Again, as with any opportunity, we have to “take” it — it requires we take action. What could you do that would instill confidence in your exploration of the mind? Is there a new mental process that is asking to be explored?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 25-29 degrees of Sagittarius, Aquarius, Aries, or Libra? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo, or Sagittarius (Mercury rules Gemini and Virgo; Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius).
Saturday afternoon, at 2:40pm EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for a little over 2 hours, until 4:46pm EST. Use this intuitive time to connect with others (and yourself) with gentleness and compassion. Taking action on deeply transformative and spiritual endeavors is favored right now.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Saturday afternoon ahead of time.
Saturday, at 4:46pm EST, the Moon moves into pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey until next week, Monday early morning (Dec. 13th). Life is an adventure, we’re more open to new ideas, and have great enthusiasm for new projects. Patience is certainly not our strong suit at this time, but we can decide quickly, and act immediately.
Our independence and dynamism are important to us right now, so we may find it hard to be disciplined or accept advice at this time; in general, our responses to others tend to be more assertive or even aggressive. If you find your foot tapping, try hitting the gym, or finding other ways to burn off the body’s excess energy.
Sunday, Dec. 12th:
Sunday, the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day (see Saturday late afternoon for details).
Sunday very early morning, a challenging Sun/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 1:21am EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Thursday very early morning on, and it will remain strong until next week, Tuesday evening (Dec. 14th). This aspect asks us to stretch and grow: On the one hand, we want to use our mind to feel confident and centered, on the other hand, we are compelled to listen to our intuition and let our imagination go wild.
As you can probably guess, we’ll experience more “flow” in areas that favor intuition and imagination, such as creativity or spirituality. If possible, hold off on plans for more “practical” things — especially since Neptune is still stationing (and thus exalted) — and will be until Dec. 15th, when it will reach its normal speed once more.
We might feel confused, but we are being asked to have faith in the infinite support we receive every day from the universe — whether our mind understands it or not (what we understand with the mind is very different from what we comprehend with the heart).
Seeing through the illusion of separation from the divine is perhaps the greatest perspective shift of all. What might be possible if we allowed ourselves to shift from our conditioning to feeling into the truth of who we are?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 17-24 degrees of Sagittarius, Pisces, Gemini, or Virgo? If so, you are more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Pisces (the Sun rules Leo, Neptune rules Pisces).
And…
A heads up for next Monday (Dec. 13th): the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day; Mars moves into optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius at 4:53am EST (until Jan. 24th, 2022); Mercury moves into ambitious, goal-oriented Capricorn at 12:52pm EST (until Jan. 2nd, 2022). At 9:52pm EST, we enter a Moon VoC that lasts for almost 5.5 hours, until 3:11am EST (Tuesday morning – Dec. 14th). More about all the details in next week’s forecast : )
One More Announcement:
