Our Soul Connections | Astrologer Coach Sonja Francis

Forecast for Mon., Feb. 19th – Sun., Feb. 25th

For me personally, last week had two main messages. On the one hand, I heard “relax, enjoy, be with what is” — this felt very much connected to Venus in Pisces.

On the other hand, I was quite aware of my past-based patterns, and I practiced being kind to myself and asking questions, rather than dwell on the patterns themselves — this felt connected to Jupiter in Scorpio. Of course, the Eclipse on Thursday threw me for a loop — it took place in my 4th House. This is the area of home and family… And there were definitely some unexpected things going on there that had to be addressed. How are you moving with these energies?

Before we get to this week’s forecast, I have one quick announcement:
I’m still offering a super-dooper special launch discount on site membership. This is only for those of you who are already part of my mailing list or have joined me on my social media platforms. For more info, click here

It gets better: If you join the Star or SuperStar Membership before Feb. 25th, you will also receive my latest Forecasting Forum (about the Eclipses and how they impact you personally) for FREE 😉 Plus, you get to join the next Forecasting Forum for free also!

Not only is the membership deeply discounted right now, your price will be locked in for life. If my prices go up at any point in the future, your’s won’t — and that applies for as long as my website is in existence, and as long as you remain an active member 😉 — so...join now!

It’s important to be clear about something here: after this four-week introductory period (which ends on March 10th), my Weekly Forecast will only be available to my online community. Why? Click here to read more about it

This week’s headline items: the first Quarter Moon in Gemini becomes exact on Friday; Eclipse season ends on Sunday, and among other things, that means you can start to take actions on your Solar Eclipse intentions that day — and Jupiter begins its Station-phase on Sunday as well.

There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday morning (for 8 hours), Thursday morning (for almost 12.5 hours), and Saturday afternoon (for a little over 7 hours).

Monday (February 19th): the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day. It will remain there until Tuesday afternoon. Life is an adventure, we’re more open to new ideas, and have great enthusiasm for new projects. Patience is certainly not our strong suit at this time, but we can decide quickly, and act immediately.

Our independence and dynamism are important to us right now, so we may find it hard to be disciplined or accept advice at this time; in general, our responses to others tend to be more assertive or even aggressive. If you find your foot tapping, try hitting the gym, or finding other ways to burn off the body’s excess energy.

Monday morning starts out harmoniously and with an urge to explore something new that helps us understand the bigger picture all around…

Later (in the evening), we are invited to make adjustments and find creative solutions around personal desires and needs, versus our deep passion and focus on long-term goals. As best as you can, allow yourself to make space for both; flexibility and adaptability are key if we mean to move forward with our plans and projects…

Last but not least, also on Monday until 4pm EST, it is still the best time to set our powerful New Moon/Solar Eclipse Intentions. Doing so during a Solar Eclipse is a little different from the regular monthly New Moon process: we are setting those intentions for the whole 6-month Eclipse cycle, rather than just for the next 28 days.

Make them powerful: after all, they cover the next six months — and if possible, align them with the Aquarian energy I spoke of in my Solar Eclipse video (feel free to watch it again if you need a refresher — click here to watch 😉

If you live in a timezone other than EST (US East Coast-time), and converting timezones isn’t your thing, I suggest joining my Facebook Fanpage and/or following me on Twitter. I will be posting reminders to let you know when it is time to set your intentions 😉

This Solar Eclipse reminds us that to be fully alive requires us to constantly stretch, grow, and change. So, while writing your intentions, ask yourself: What would it take for me to release old patterns from the past? How might that free me to create a more powerful vision for the future?

Tuesday (February 20th): the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries until 2:12pm EST (see Monday for details).

Tuesday at 6:11am EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for 8 hours, until 2:12pm EST. Use this intuitive time to connect to people that can enthusiastically support your projects and share with them what you have going on.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Tuesday morning until early afternoon ahead of time 🙂

Tuesday at 2:12pm EST, the Moon moves into steady, peaceful Taurus, where it will journey until Thursday evening. We love all physical comforts, prefer consistency, and would rather stick with what we know works well.

In other words: change is not our favorite thing and “rushing things” goes against our grain. What is our favorite thing for the next two days? It’s probably, slowing down and getting in touch with whatever delights our senses 😉

Wednesday (February 21st): the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus all day (see Tuesday afternoon for details).

Wednesday afternoon, a Venus/Neptune alignment in 13.5 degrees of Pisces becomes exact at 1:42pm EST. We started to feel this aspect on Monday night, it will be strong until Friday night. It asks us to dissolve anything that keeps us from opening our hearts more fully. This connection makes us dream of Soul connections with others.

We are highly romantic and may turn a blind eye to “what is”, in pursuit of a fantasy that we want or need to have fulfilled. Beware of anything that sounds too good to be true — whether that’s in connection with people or money — it might indeed be “too good to be true” 😉

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 10-17 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini, or Sagittarius? If so, you will feel this alignment quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra).

Wednesday afternoonan opportune Mercury/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 3:23pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Tuesday morning on; it will remain strong until this Thursday. This is an opportunity to take responsibility for our thinking structures and be really honest with ourselves.

How can we get the most from this opportunity? As best as you can, allow your intuitive body to guide you. Commit to understanding your conditioning and thinking processes.

If we take this chance to see things more clearly and connect to ourselves more lovingly, we could get a good dose of reality, and an ability to focus on long-term issues. Remember: opportunities are openings; they aren’t necessarily handed to us — we have to “take” them and make something of them.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 5-9 degrees of Capricorn, Pisces, Scorpio or Taurus? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity.

Thursday (Feb. 22nd): the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus until 7:07pm EST (see Tuesday afternoon for details).

Thursday at 6:46am EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for almost 12.5 hours, until 7:07pm EST. Use this intuitive time to balance your desire for comfort and security with your desire for deeper emotional connections with yourself and others.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Thursday Day ahead of time 🙂

Thursday at 7:07pm EST, the Moon moves into chatty, versatile Gemini, where it will journey until Saturday late evening. For the next two days, we like to learn, connect and interact as much as possible. “Busy” feels good: connecting online, on the phone, or sharing face-to-face, preferably multi-tasking all the way…

The one thing we can do without is boredom: If our mind is not engaged in some way, we might as well curl up and play dead 🙂 This Moon placement starts the build-up towards the first Quarter Moon (exact on Friday very early morning).

Friday (Feb. 23rd): the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini all day (see Thursday evening for details).

Friday very early morning, at 3:09am EST, the first Quarter Moon in 4.5 degrees of Gemini becomes exact (we started to feel this aspect build from the moment the Moon entered Gemini on Thursday evening). The Moon in chatty, versatile Gemini makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in sensitive, compassionate Pisces.

Last week (Feb. 15th) saw a powerful New Moon/Solar Eclipse. If we set some intentions on Feb. 17th, 18th or 19th, we are now ready to make some adjustments. This is a time to stretch and grow — and create some forward momentum — in fact, we may feel compelled to act, stirring up anxiety or overwhelm, so just go one breath at a time.

Remember, we’re still in Eclipse Season until Sunday, and thus don’t have all the information we need to move brand-new projects forward yet. Allow for changes, remain flexible and adaptable, find creative solutions in day-to-day interactions with others. Allow for new downloads and for the release of “old” codes and conditioning. Simply put: an open mind and heart will serve us best (that’s true in general, but especially true until Feb. 25th 😉

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in any of the following: 2-7 degrees of Gemini, Pisces, Sagittarius or Virgo? If so, you will feel the effects of this first Quarter Moon more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Saturday (Feb. 24th): the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini until 10:06pm EST (see Tuesday afternoon for details).

Saturday at 2:58pm EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for a little over 7 hours, until 10:06pm EST. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to connect with others, exchange information, and move personal projects forward.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Saturday afternoon and evening ahead of time 🙂

Saturday at 10:06pm EST, the Moon moves into protective, nurturing Cancerwhere it will journey until Monday late evening (Feb. 26th). With this Moon placement, we are more sensitive to what people say and therefore our feelings are more easily hurt — so be kind to yourself and others. Self-Care is key for the next two and half days 😉

Emotional safety is important to us as well; we like connecting to the familiar and we enjoy nurturing ourselves and others — home and family call to us, for instance. Make sure though, that your own glass is full before letting others drink from it; if you don’t, you might start to feel drained and resentful.

Saturday night,  Jupiter starts to slow down (station) as it reaches 23 degrees of Scorpio, preparing for its yearly 4-month retrograde phase. Jupiter will come to a halt on March 8th; its station-phase last until March 20th. We will feel its energy more forcefully during the station-phase.

We start to be more fully aware of Jupiter’s energy; this awareness helps us to get more connected to those energies within us. We get to see where we need to embrace them more fully, so that we can use them in a healthy way, without getting lost in the lower vibrations of their expression.

Until March 20th, we have to face what this planet is trying to communicate to us: Jupiter represents our desire to seek insight via the gaining of knowledge. Some of this planet’s keywords: morality, gratitude, hope, honor, law. Jupiter is the planet of possibility, optimism, and growth (including mental and spiritual growth). Jupiter is also associated with a sense of humor, goodwill, and mercy.

The lower expressions of Jupiter include “Oh, the heck with it”, “I deserve this and more”, “the rules do not apply to me” — generally speaking: too much of a good thing, blind optimism, excess, stretching the truth, overindulgence.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 21-25 degrees of Scorpio, Taurus, Leo or AquariusIf so, you may be more affected by this station phase. This is also true for those of us who have our or Ascendant or Sun-sign in Sagittarius (Jupiter rules Sagittarius, so Sagittarius will always be affected more strongly by Jupiter’s movements and aspects).

Sunday (February 25th): the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer all day (see Saturday late evening for details).

Sunday morninga challenging Venus/Mars aspect becomes exact at 7:01am EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Thursday night on; it will remain strong until next week Tuesday night (Feb. 27th). This aspect asks that we stretch ourselves with regard to the feminine/masculine dynamic as it manifests both “inside” and “outside”: A shift needs to occur.

This can show up in several ways, either through romantic and sexual tensions that we might experience with others. We may tease each other, flirt with each other and/or play hard to get. Or we may find ourselves arguing in a very passionate way with the opposite sex. Competitiveness, anger, frustration, or angst might be present. Either way, this can be a very passionate time.

Balancing and integrating masculine and feminine energies within ourselves would be very useful at this time.

If we experience these energies internally, there may be a desire for adventure — or just for being still and “adventuring” into ourselves, our heart-space, our inner universe. The challenge might be that we feel pulled in two directions — on the one hand, we want to feel “one” with others and connect to them through love and kindness. On the other hand, we want to be free and explore something new, outside of our familiar environment.

What might it look like, if you made room for both of these energies?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (MC) or personal planets in 15-22 degrees of Pisces, Sagittarius, Virgo or Gemini? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Aries (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Mars is the ruler of Aries)

Sunday morninga Mercury/Neptune alignment in 13.5 degrees of Pisces becomes exact at 7:26am EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Friday evening on; it will remain strong until next week Monday night (Feb. 26th). This aspect could take our connection to our intuition even deeper — if we can allow it.

Spiritual and creative endeavors are highly recommended during this time — especially those involving music or creative writing. This is definitely a highly imaginative time. As best as you can, go with the flow and — just for now — let go of wanting to figure it all out.

The highest vibration of this aspect is idealistic, highly intuitive and romantic; on a lower level vibration, we might not see reality clearly and we might easily feel overwhelmed. We might get confused or disappointed; things might seem a little foggy, especially when it comes to communication, processing information, public transportation or daily traffic.

Check in with others before signing any documents or making long-term decisions for those three days: get reality checks! As best as you can, let go and let flow 😉 On the other hand, trust the divine timing of things and have faith that everything will turn out exactly as it needs to.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 10-17 degrees of  Pisces, Virgo, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you are more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Pisces (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Neptune rules Pisces).

Sunday early afternoonan opportune Sun/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 12:46pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Friday on; it will remain strong until next week Tuesday (Feb. 27th). This aspect provides an opportunity to become aware of what needs to happen if we are to accomplish something concrete.

We have common sense at our disposal; we are willing to look reality in the eye and take responsibility for our life and how we live it. This is an opportunity to be more aware of our heart connection to the divine and to our intuitive selves — and how it can benefit us both in terms of long-term goals, and in what we are focused on in the here and now. Again, remember: opportunities are openings, they aren’t necessarily handed to us — we have to “take” them and make something of them.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 5-9 degrees of Pisces, Capricorn, Taurus, or Scorpio? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Capricorn (the Sun rules Leo; Saturn rules Capricorn)

Also on Sunday, Eclipse Season ends that started on January 21st. Yay! We have now fully received our consciousness upgrade! Congratulations! You are ready to move to a whole new level of being 😉 If you set some Eclipse Intentions, now is a perfect time to start taking action on them (if it feels right to you): what might be a small or large step that you could take towards a vision you have that you would like see fulfilled?

A heads-up for next Monday (Feb. 26th): the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer until 11:42pm EST (see Saturday late evening for details). At 4:51pm EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for almost 7 hours, until 11:42pm EST. At that timethe Moon moves into Leo, where it will journey until Thursday very early morning (Mar. 1st). More about all the details in next week’s forecast. 😉
