The Human-Soul Alliance — Forecast for Feb. 10th – 16th

This week’s headline items: Mercury starts to slow down (station) on Thursday, getting ready for its 3-week Retrograde phase, which begins on Sunday evening; the last Quarter Moon in Scorpio becomes exact Saturday late afternoon; Mars changes signs from Sagittarius to Capricorn on Sunday morning.

There will be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday afternoon (for a little over 5 hours), Thursday late afternoon (for almost 3 hours), and Saturday late afternoon (for almost 6 hours).

Before we get to this week’s forecast, I have one quick announcement:

If you missed yesterday’s Forecasting Forum… and still would like to learn how the planetary movements from mid February – late March are impacting you personally… feel free to watch the mp4-video presentation about the upcoming Mercury Retrograde in Pisces (Feb. 16th – March 9th), and Mars’s transit through Capricorn (Feb. 16th – March 30th) — as it relates to your own Birth Chart…

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, Feb. 10th:

Monday, the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day. It will journey there until Tuesday early evening. We are generous with our time/services and we love to help others. We also have a fondness for science and anything that makes sense in our world — things and knowledge we can apply and use.

Health might come also into focus at this time. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.) align with our long-term goals.

Monday very early morning, a Venus/Chiron alignment in almost 3 degrees of Aries becomes exact at 3:06am EST. We started to feel this aspect from last week, Friday (Feb. 7th) on, it will be strong until Wednesday evening. This alignment reminds us of wounds around relationships or our sense of self-worth. Social situations might feel awkward.

We may experience some triggers, so as best as you can, bring compassion and understanding to yourself, to others, and to those past experiences that wounded you. We need to learn to love ourselves, and heal deep fears of being “not good enough”. Healing happens much faster when we are open to forgiving and embracing ourselves exactly as we are (and are not).

Ask yourself: If I looked at my own limitations through the lens of the human-soul alliance, is it possible that would bring healing to my relationship to my persona — how I present myself to the world — and to my relationships with others?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 0-6 degrees of Aries, Libra, Capricorn or Cancer? If so, you will feel this alignment quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra (since Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra)

Monday late morning, we seek a balance between head and heart, facts and faith, reason and intuition; if you can achieve that balance, it’s a great day for connecting with others and being of service. We may also want to talk to our pets or engage in more spiritual conversations that can also support our physical well-being.

Monday late evening, we seek a balance between head & heart, facts & faith, reason & intuition. That said, if you can achieve that balance, it’s a great time for…

Monday late evening, we seek a balance between head & heart, facts & faith, reason & intuition. That said, if you can achieve that balance, it’s a great time for being of service.

Tuesday, Feb. 11th:

Tuesday, the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo until 6:37pm EST (see Monday morning for details).

Tuesday early morning, calls for some inner adjustments. We feel uneasy or awkward and need to make a choice. Making this choice demands we develop inner awareness around two very different urges: on the one hand, the desire to engage in humanitarian causes — and on the other hand, the need to tend to our daily routines. (

Tuesday morning, we can potentially accomplish quite a bit: The Moon in Virgo makes a harmonious aspect to Pluto in Capricorn. Virgo and Capricorn are Earth signs, so getting down to business and focusing on the task at hand takes less effort than normal. We are able to tackle anything that requires attention to detail and maybe even implement health routines or other systems that support our long-term goals.

Tuesday afternoon, we are more capable than normal of looking at the details, and focusing on what’s sitting right in front of us that demands to be taken care of, so we can get to the next phase of accomplishment. We are invited to look at all the practical implications; we need to slow down and take our time if we are to manifest something that can stand the test of time — rushing things will most likely backfire right now.

Tuesday at 1:26pm EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for a little over 5 hours until 6:37pm EST. Use this intuitive time to stretch and grow — to undertake a process of adjusting your actions. You may feel a little scatter-brained or all over the map. As best as you can, stay flexible, don’t rush into anything — and don’t be too hard on yourself.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Tuesday afternoon until the early evening ahead of time.

Tuesday at 6:37pm EST, the Moon moves into harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra, where it will journey until Thursday evening. The energy of the Libra Moon helps us be naturally courteous and diplomatic; we are more polite at this time, as we seek the approval of others.

We very much want to maintain equal, fair relationships at this time, and are therefore open to making compromises and negotiating. These next two days are a great time for mediation — but our need for peace and accompanying aversion to direct conflict could pull us to “yes” more easily than we might like.

We may also be able see both sides of the equation so well that we can’t make decisions. As best as you can, find an inner balance with this and communicate what needs to be said with grace and charm — even if it’s “No” 😉 One last quick note: this is also a great time for anything to do with visual arts.

Tuesday late evening, we become more aware that we need to find a balance between two very different energies — on the one hand, taking a compassionate approach towards our personal goals, while being assertive in the world — and on the other hand, our need to connect and collaborate with others. Ask yourself: what if taking a compassionate approach towards myself actually made for more fulfilling connections with others?

Wednesday Feb. 12th:

Wednesday, the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra all day (see Tuesday early evening for details).

Wednesday very early morning, if you are awake during these early hours, reexamine your various one-on-one relationships — ask yourself: How can I balance my need for connection and harmony with my desire for self-fulfillment and independence?

On Wednesday afternoon, we are invited to make some internal adjustments: we may want to be social and collaborate with others (especially within our one-on-one relationships), but may also feel a need to tune in with ourselves and communicate from a more intuitive or spiritual place — introverted vs. extroverted. What do you hear when you get really quiet? What don’t you hear when it gets loud?

Wednesday evening, we are invited to make some adjustments in our lives and find creative solutions to seemingly unsolvable situations. As best as you can, look to expand your perspectives around any long-term goals you are currently pursuing, and find ways to create win-win outcomes for your various one-on-one relationships.

Wednesday late evening, we are invited to make some internal adjustments. We may want to connect with others, but may also need to tune into our intuitive inner voice. As you did earlier in the day, ask yourself: What do I sense when I get really quiet? Could a compassionate heart bring peace to your interactions with others?

Thursday, Feb. 13th:

Thursday, the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra until 7:37pm EST (see Tuesday early evening for details).

Thursday at 4:40pm EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for almost 3 hours until 7:37pm EST. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity for collaboration and an exploration of your passions for life. How might a new adventure support your connections with others? How about vice versa?

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Thursday late afternoon until the evening ahead of time.

Thursday at 7:37pm EST, the Moon moves into passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, where it will journey until Saturday late evening. We feel things deeply and have “X-Ray Vision” and “Bullshit-Smelling Abilities”.

Emotional authenticity is extremely important to us at this time; anything less than 100% emotional honesty could be perceived as flat-out dishonest. Once we feel safe trusting someone, we want to merge with them, preferably forever… as long as our trust is never betrayed.

The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power. This occurs by a process of subtraction — it urges us to let go of whatever disempowers us. It’s therefore an excellent time to look at “old” fears, limiting habits or emotional attachments, especially those stemming from past traumas.

Moon in Scorpio tends to run right over ambiguity — it’s “in or out”, “with us or against us”, “love me or leave me”. It can therefore be stormy — a cold winter storm, or a torrid tropical storm of passion, depending on how we “work” the energies 🙂

Manipulation and paranoia are the lower vibrations of this aspect, so as best you can, be straightforward — act in good faith and assume it in others. Best of all, be truly present to the fluctuations of your feelings — no matter if they’re “polite” or “timely”. Feelings aren’t facts, but they are information — and heeding them will help you embrace all of who you are.

Know thyself — and love thyself — you shall be set free. Remember: Love connects us to the Power within; Fear causes “Force” to show up — and that’s ultimately what disempowers us and others. This Moon placement starts the build up towards the last Quarter Moon in Scorpio (exact Saturday late afternoon).

Also, on Thursday, Mercury starts to slow down (station) in 12/13º of Pisces, preparing to come to a halt on Sunday evening (when it will begin its 3-week Retrograde phase). More on that on Sunday… This station will last until Feb. 19th, and during this time, we will feel Mercury’s energies more strongly.

For the next 6 days, we need to be patient with ourselves and others — especially if there is a connection with communication or transportation, and their associated technologies. This is not the best time to start anything brand-new, especially if it contains new information that needs to be processed.

We might experience delays or misunderstandings, and things tend to feel “off” or stagnant. It might be a good idea to give yourself some extra time to get ready, or travel somewhere — especially if you intend to use public transportation or drive (For more details on Mercury Shadow Phases and Retrogrades, click here)

Be extra-patient if you intend to buy, sell or ship big-ticket items, especially if they are transportation or communication devices like anything connected with planes, trains, cars, phones, computers, iPads, etc. Best of all (if possible): wait until after March 29th, when the Shadow phase is over.

Some of us will feel the effects of this Mercury station more than others: those of us who have Gemini or Virgo as our Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant); and those of us with personal planets in 10-15 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini, or Sagittarius.

Friday, Feb. 14th:

Friday, the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio all day (see Thursday evening for details).

Friday very early morning, we are invited to make some inner adjustments: we feel uneasy or awkward, and need to make a choice — a choice that demands we develop inner awareness around two very different urges: On the one hand, we have the urge to go deeper and connect with others; on the other hand, we are more aware of triggers and limitations connected to old childhood wounds.

As best as you can, be compassionate and understanding with yourself when feelings of anger come up (and even if shame follows expressions of that anger). Ask yourself: How might 5% more compassion support my relationship with myself and others right now?

Also, Friday very early morning, we are invited to examine our relationship to money, power, and resources (personal and shared). Ask yourself: How can I balance my need for a deeper, more empowered experience with others, against my wish to honor my personal values and desire for freedom?

Friday morning, we experience a need for inner adjustments. We feel uneasy or awkward and need to make a choice. Making this choice demands we develop inner awareness around two very different urges: on the one hand, the desire to merge with another and feel deeply and intimately connected to them — and on the other hand, the need to value our independence.

Friday late afternoon/early evening, we are likely to experience a sense of ease and flow, but may need to slow down and allow our feelings to come through. A gentle approach is best. We feel good when communicating from the heart and making deeper emotional connections with others. Connecting from an intuitive pace, trusting the process and going with the flow are key!

Friday late evening, we feel good about making deeper connections and may have an opportunity to explore our long-term goals from a new perspective. As best as you can, release any fears or traumas that keep you stuck in the past, and instead widen your viewpoint and deepen your connection to whatever you feel deeply passionate about (for the long-term)

Saturday, Feb. 15th:

Saturday, the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio until 11:07pm EST (see Thursday evening for details).

Saturday late afternoon, at 5:17pm EST, the last Quarter Moon in a little over 26.5 degrees of Scorpio becomes exact. We started to feel this aspect build from the moment the Moon entered Scorpio on Thursday evening. The Moon in deep-feeling Scorpio is making a challenging aspect to the Sun in emotionally detached Aquarius. This may bring up some challenges. However, it also energizes us to look at what needs to be completed — and what needs to be changed.

This Moon phase brings us closer to the upcoming New Moon in Pisces (on Feb. 23rd). During the last Quarter Moon, we are better served by reviewing those projects we began around the last New Moon — in this case, that would be Jan. 24th — as opposed to launching new ones.

As best as you can, find creative solutions for anything that comes up (whether internally, or with others).

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 24-29 degrees of Scorpio, Aquarius, Leo, or Taurus? If so, you are more affected by this month’s last Quarter Moon. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer, since the Sun rules Leo and the Moon rules Cancer.

Saturday at 5:20pm EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for almost 6 hours until 11:07pm EST. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to dig deeper — and also to focus on practicalities and long-term plans. As best as you can, bring a sense of empowerment and focus to your business dealings, release any fears or traumas that keep you stuck in the past, and deepen your connection to what you feel deeply passionate about.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Saturday late afternoon until the late evening ahead of time.

Saturday at 11:07pm EST, the Moon moves into optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, where it will journey until next week, Tuesday early morning (Feb. 18th). We’re strongly motivated to explore and learn. We’re not likely to be big fans of routine — diversity and new adventures work best at this time — we’re also physically restless and need to burn that off with activity and physical exercise.

We tend to feel more open, optimistic and inspired — but we also have a high degree of independence, which means we’d rather inspire others to do things our way, than take orders. Inspiring others could come easier than normal, as we can see the bigger picture, leaving us confident that others will agree with us, once they see what we see.

As best as you can, speak your truth without assuming that everyone is on the same page as you. Improvisation works well for us at this time, as we are spontaneous and love living on the edge — just watch out you aren’t overdoing or overstating things.

Sunday, Feb. 16th:

Sunday, the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day (see Saturday late evening for details).

Sunday morning, at 6:33am EST, Mars changes signs from optimistic, adventurous Sagittarius to realistic, prestige-and-accomplishment-oriented Capricorn, where it will journey until March 30th.

For those 6 weeks, we tend to feel more determined, goal-oriented and focused. We are not afraid to work hard on attainable goals so that we can see tangible results.

Our drive to succeed is quite strong, especially when we feel a need for physical and material security — that is, in the realm of all that can be seen and held. Our self-control tends to be quite strong around the expression of “drives” — things like anger, energy, ambition, and sexuality — in fact, with Mars in Capricorn we are at our least impulsive, with a powerful need to stay in control.

Because we have such a strong sense of responsibility, we need to be careful not to start using work to hide from others. Anger can easily get channeled into our work as well. As best as you can, be kind to yourself, remember we all do the best we can; there is no need for extra pressure.

We also talked about Mars’s journey trough Capricorn in our last Foresting Forum. Feel free get this webinar if you want to know how this transits impacts you personally. To purchase this webinar, click here.  Before you invest in the whole 100 min. webinar, feel free to watch a 17-min excerpt here.

If you have an Aries Sun-sign or Rising-sign, you are going to feel more focused and determent. You may want to get down to business. If you are a Capricorn Sun-sign or Rising sign, you will feel quite energized for the next 6 weeks. Channeling this energy into physical exercise or a project might be advisable.

Sunday evening, at 7:54pm ESTMercury comes to a still stand in almost 13º Pisces (starting its 3-week retrograde phase), slowing things down tremendously from Saturday until Monday night. Give yourself extra time to go to work for those three days or to get things done. If you are traveling, just simply go with the flow… you’ll get there… eventually 😉 The same is true when it comes to all our technological devices…

This Retrograde phase will last until March 9th. People worry about Mercury retrogrades, but it’s important not to stop one’s life during these times. As mentioned above, certain things may take longer — but a retrograde gives us a chance to resolve things that have been keeping us from connecting the dots — especially things that came up within the past three weeks (during the Shadow phase).

Take time to investigate your own thought processes: What feels too busy to you? What if you got really clear about that?

For the next three weeks, we have a chance to explore our connection to the divine aspect of ourselves; we also get a chance to explore our ability to listen to our intuition and connect from within. This will help us learn where we need to make space for  communion with ourselves and our spirit guides; we may also get to reorganize any spiritual or creative endeavors.

This is also an optimal time for catching up on unfinished business, repairing what’s not working, reconnecting with people, places or things that bring us closer to our divinity. We can bring a more compassionate approach to life, and it’s a great time to research creative or spiritual projects or ideas we’d like to engage in or learn about — this is especially true for whatever is linked to the area where Mercury shows up in our natal chart…

It’s also a chance to readdress anything connected to creativity or universal love, and also to connect and communicate with and from our highest selves. It’s time to rethink, retool and release what no longer works; this process begins internally and works its way out.

As always: with a Mercury Retrograde phase, always read the small print — and re-read a contract before signing (if you have to sign something) — or ask another person for a second opinion… Basically, during these periods, it’s best to be aware of any details that we might have overlooked… and check in with our intuition… and stay open to the possibility of renegotiation or adjustments, down the line!

In general, Mercury Retrograde is a great time for re-evaluating and re-organizing. This is especially true for our thought patterns and decisions (particularly those made in the 3 weeks prior to the start of the Retrograde) — but it’s true of our lives in general: we can reach a clearer understanding as to what works, and what doesn’t, and what needs to change.

Reconnecting with old friends, clients and family members (especially siblings) is also favored at this time …

Mercury also represents our day-to-day mind; this too is experienced more internally at this time. When it comes to communication, make sure that what you say, write and hear is the same as the intended meaning — and use the spell-checker 😉

Another thing to take into consideration: how does each Mercury retrograde phase affect your personal birth chart. Do you have any personal planets that Mercury will align with during its retrograde journey? The houses in your Birth chart each represent different areas of your life — which of the houses are affected by this Retrograde?

Again, feel free to watch my webinar about this Mercury Retrograde in Pisces — as it relates  to your own Birth Chart… To purchase this webinar, click here.  Before you invest in the whole 100 min. webinar, feel free to watch a 17-min excerpt here.

Star Members: check your email for the link to the mp4-video recording and enjoy watching it! I sent it out on Feb. 9th late evening 😉

As with any retrograde, some of us will be more affected than others, depending on how it interacts with our personal chart. If you have your Ascendant, Career Point or any personal planets in the following: 0-15 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini, Sagittarius, or 26-29 degrees of Aquarius, Leo, Taurus or Scorpio, you will be more affected by this particular Retrograde. This is also true for those of us who have a Gemini or Virgo Sun- or Rising-sign (Mercury rules Gemini and Virgo).

Sunday late evening, we may need to make some adjustments. As best you can, honor both your need for adventure and exploration of life and your need to go within. Tune in for a moment and see if you need to take a break or at least slow down a little. As best as you can, allow for daydreaming, naps, or compassionate self-dialogue.

And…

A heads up for next Monday (Feb. 17th): the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day (see Saturday late evening- Feb 15th for details). The Moon in Sagittarius squares Neptune in Pisces, exact at 6:49am EST. More about all the details in next week’s forecast 🙂

One More Announcement:
