Now, this week’s Forecast
Monday Jan. 14th:
Monday: the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries until 1:31pm EST. Life is an adventure, we’re more open to new ideas, and have great enthusiasm for new projects. Patience is certainly not our strong suit at this time, but we can decide quickly, and act immediately.
Our independence and dynamism are important to us right now, so we may find it hard to be disciplined or accept advice at this time; in general, our responses to others tend to be more assertive or even aggressive. If you find your foot tapping, try hitting the gym, or finding other ways to burn off the body’s excess energy.
Monday very early morning, at 1:46am EST, the first Quarter Moon in Aries becomes exact. If you are already a Member, feel free to click here and see Sunday night, Jan. 13th for more details.
Monday morning, an opportune Mercury/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 8:13am EST. We started to feel this aspect from last week, Saturday evening (Jan. 12th) on; it will remain strong until this Tuesday evening. This aspect gives us the opportunity to bring compassion and an intuitive approach to our thinking process. Having faith and connecting to our Higher Selves will be of service to us at this time. Any artistic or spiritual endeavors are likely to do well at this time. Music might help us with our thinking process and ability to get things done.
Let yourself be inspired! A book, a song, a movie, someone else’s words allow the Universe to speak to you. Open your mind to a higher vibration — and remember, opportunities are openings… they aren’t necessarily handed to us… we have to “take” them and make something of them.
Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 12-17 degrees of Capricorn, Pisces, Scorpio or Taurus? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Pisces (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Neptune rules Pisces).
Monday at 10:56am EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for a little over 2.5 hours, until 1:31pm EST. Use this intuitive time to connect with people that can enthusiastically support your projects and share with them what you have going on.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday late morning/early afternoon ahead of time.
Monday at 1:31pm EST; the Moon moves into steady, peaceful Taurus, where it will journey until Wednesday evening. We love all physical comforts, prefer consistency, and would rather stick with what we know works well. In other words: change is not our favorite thing and “rushing things” goes against our grain. What is our favorite thing for the next two days? It’s probably, slowing down and…

Tuesday: the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus all day (see Monday early afternoon for details).
Tuesday before 1pm EST is your last chance to sign up for today’s FORECASTING FORUM. Please note that we’ll talk about the current Eclipses! What needs your focus for the next 6 months? What is coming to fruition?

Tuesday early morning, we are invited to make some internal adjustments: We may want to have some peace and quiet, while at the same time, feeling the need to connect with others, and have an outdoors adventure.
Tuesday late morning/early afternoon, Slow down a little and focus on what’s sitting right in front of you that needs to be taken care of, so you can get to the next phase of accomplishment. Rushing will backfire right now.
Tuesday afternoon, we have an opportunity to meet our need for material comfort with a gentler, more intuitive approach. Inner and outer beauty is key!
Tuesday late afternoon, we are invited, yet again, to make some internal adjustments… We may want to enjoy some luxurious pleasures, while feeling at the same time a desire to have an adventure of the mind and soul.
Tuesday evening, is a great time to share about earthly issues and support each other in practical ways.
Wednesday, Jan. 16th:
Wednesday: the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus until 8:00pm EST (see Monday early afternoon for details).
Wednesday early morning, we get a chance to empower each other around our long-term goals, by keeping things down to earth and enjoyable.
Wednesday at 1:34pm EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for almost 6.5 hours, until 8:00pm EST. Use this intuitive time to be realistic and practical about your finances and long-term plans.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Wednesday early afternoon until the evening ahead of time
Wednesday late afternoon/early evening, we have an opportunity to meet our need for stability and pleasure, by combining physical pleasure with a spiritual (or more holistic) approach — for example, by scheduling an energetic healing practice for ourselves (something like Reiki or a holistic massage would be perfect).
Wednesday at 8:00pm EST, the Moon moves into chatty, versatile Gemini, where it will journey until Friday late evening. For the next two days, we like to learn, connect and interact as much as possible.
“Busy” feels good: connecting online, on the phone, or sharing face-to-face, preferably multi-tasking all the way… The one thing we can do without is boredom: If our mind is not engaged in some way, we might as well curl up and play dead 🙂
Thursday, Jan. 17th:
Thursday: the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini all day (see Wednesday evening for details).
Thursday afternoon: we are asked to balance our need for mentally stimulating encounters with our desire to venture beyond our day-to-day mind in order to connect with others on a more philosophical level. What’s the larger picture? What are we here to do? What are we here to be? Why now?
Also on Thursday afternoon: we feel an opportunity to move things forward for ourselves, especially anything connected to personal goals or projects.
Thursday evening, we may experience some internal discomfort and need to make some inner adjustments. We feel nudged toward being responsible and building something that will last long-term.
Thursday late evening, we are required to make some adjustments — and we may need to do a little stretching and growing, when it comes to our inner or emotional experiences. As best as you can, be gentle with yourself and others, seek to understand before seeking to be understood.
Also on Thursday, late evening: we are invited to balance our desire for sharing and gathering information with our desire to go beyond learned knowledge and tap into a greater wisdom that helps us grow and expand mentally, physically or spiritually.
Friday, Jan. 18th:
Friday is a big day (astrologically speaking): the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini until 10:44pm EST (see Wednesday evening for details).
Friday early afternoon, a harmonious Venus/Mars aspect becomes exact at 11:49am EST. We started to feel this aspect from last Friday (Jan. 11th) on; it will be strong until next week Friday (Jan. 25th). We tend to feel passionate, highly creative and energized at this time, with lots of vitality and warmth to share.
We are able to actively bring people together for mutual pleasure and benefit. That’s not surprising, considering we radiate charm, vitality, and enthusiasm — we find it easy during this time to get along with both sexes. There is also a certain amount of flow when it comes to creativity and athletic abilities: If you knew you could accomplish something now with ease, what would you pick?
Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 7-13 degrees of Sagittarius, Aries, or Leo? If so, you may feel more blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Aries (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Mars rules Aries)
Friday afternoon, a Mercury/Pluto alignment in almost 21 degrees of Capricorn becomes exact at 3:03pm EST. We started feeling it build from Wednesday evening on and it will remain strong until Sunday evening. With this alignment, an all-or-nothing attitude is very likely. We have tremendous mental focus — which could tip into obsession. Choose love over fear whenever possible. Connect to the things you feel passionate about — and connect to others, empowering them with your passions. As best as you can, choose your words carefully — if possible, speak from that deeply connected and empowered place.
Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 18-24 degrees of Capricorn, Aries, Libra or Cancer? If so, you may feel more connected to this alignment. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Scorpio (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Pluto rules Scorpio)
Friday evening, an opportune Sun/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 7:57pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from Tuesday evening on; it will remain strong until next week, Monday evening (Jan. 21st) . This aspect is an opportunity for self-healing; this could support our confidence and brings us into better alignment with our physical and emotional body.
We all have flaws, wounds, insecurities. The more we can open up to that being ok for ourselves, the less judgmental we will be with others. This is also a great time to recognize that our so-called flaws and insecurities have become some of our best assets and strengths — how might this be true for you?
Until Sunday, as best as you can, practice gentleness; be kind to yourself and others. Again, remember: an opportunity is an opening, a glimpse of new possibilities — so “opportunities” are not simply handed to us, tied up with a bow — we have to “take” them, and make something of them. What will you do with this particular opportunity?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 26-29 degrees of Capricorn, Pisces, Taurus, Scorpio or 0-1 degree of Aquarius, Aries, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo (the Sun rules Leo).
Friday at 8:32pm EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for a little over two hours, until 10:44pm EST. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to connect with others, exchange information, and move personal projects forward.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Friday evening until the late evening ahead of time.
Friday at 10:44pm EST, the Moon moves into protective, nurturing Cancer, where it will journey until Sunday late evening. With this Moon placement, we are more sensitive to what people say and therefore our feelings are more easily hurt — so be kind to yourself and others. Self-Care is key for the next two and half days 😉
Emotional safety is important to us as well; we like connecting to the familiar and we enjoy nurturing ourselves and others — home and family call to us, for instance. Make sure though, that your glass is filled before letting others drink from it, otherwise you might start to feel drained and resentful.
Saturday, Jan. 19th:
Saturday: the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer all day (see Friday late evening for details).
Also on Saturday, Uranus resumes its normal pace through the sky, ending its station. What has come up in the last four weeks around radical change, personal freedom, and needing to individuate? How closely are you in touch with your personal vision for life?
Saturday evening, we are invited to make adjustments and find creative solutions to seemingly insoluble situations. Make space both for personal projects that you feel passionate about and for emotional or family issues.
Also, Saturday evening, requires some inner adjustments. We feel uneasy or awkward and need to make a choice, one that demands we develop inner awareness around two very different urges: on the one hand, the desire to connect with others and have an adventure — and on the other hand, the need to nurture ourselves and stay in touch with our feeling body.
Saturday late evening, we may experience authoritarian or rigid attitudes, both toward and from others. This could create some tension or oppositional behaviors — so, as best you can, remain flexible and practice self-care, doing your best to take care of your emotional and physical body — that way, you’ll remain able to stay grounded in reality.
Also on Saturday late evening, we are in a state of “flow” and emotional connection to others; spiritual and creative endeavors are favored.
Sunday, Jan. 20th:
Sunday: the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer until 10:54pm EST (see Friday late evening for details).
Sunday early morning, at 4am EST, the Sun changes signs from practical, cautious, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn to freedom-loving, forward-thinking and objective Aquarius, where it will journey until February 18th. For the next four weeks, we have advancement and progress in our hearts.
We want to get off the beaten path, leaving behind old and outdated ways of thinking and doing, throwing off personal and social conditioning those restrictions, limitations and inhibitions that may once have felt safe, but now feel constraining.
Our idealism runs strong, but we can have some fixed ideas about how we want to accomplish these ideals although we are open to new ideas in theory, in practice we may actually be quite stubborn. Finally, we are also definitely more aware of the impact each individual has on the whole of society.
All this is especially true if you are a Leo or Aquarius Sun-sign or Rising-sign. As an Aquarius, you will feel a good dose of confidence and playfulness in the next four weeks; as a Leo, you are more objective than usual working towards a vision for the future might be just the thing for you to do.
Sunday at 8:50am EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for 2 hours, until 10:54pm EST. You may be aware of two seemingly conflicting desires: On the one hand, a need for connection to the familiar; on the other, a desire to break free and rebel. Make space to both pursue your vision and improvements in general, and for taking care of emotional or family issues.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Sunday late evening ahead of time.
Sunday at 10:54pm EST, the Moon moves into fun and attention-loving Leo, where it will journey until next week, Tuesday late evening (Jan. 22nd). We may lack objectivity and struggle with backing down or compromising.
We all love to be admired — or at the very least acknowledged — for our greatness 🙂 So hand out some compliments — let people know how proud you are of them, tell them how much you love them. Come from the heart in this and all other things… be honest and authentic, as best you can.
Fun, games and romance are a big part of this energy as well. You might also enjoy spending time with little ones. If there are no “outer children” around, how about getting in touch with your “inner child” — it’s definitely easier for the next two days. What are you most grateful for today? What would be heaps and heaps of fun? What would be so much fun, you let out a tiny squeak, just thinking of it? This Moon placement also starts the build-up towards the Full Moon (exact later tonight/Monday very every morning).
Sunday late evening, a challenging Venus/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 11:15pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from Thursday evening on; it will remain strong until next week Wednesday (Jan. 23rd). We might be confused, unrealistic, or overly idealistic around love and money — so it’s best to wait until the transit is over, before making big moves in these areas — if you make long-term financial investments, buy or sell big-ticket items, or start brand-new relationships, it’s likely you will not see things as they truly are.
We are actually being asked to have faith; to let our intuition guide us in money and love — if we are able to do this, we will grow through it. As best as you can, be compassionate with yourself and others during these 5 days — it might also help to know that relationships and endeavors of a spiritual or artistic nature can move forward at this time.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 11-18 degrees of Sagittarius, Pisces, Gemini or Virgo? If so, you are more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Pisces (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Neptune rules Pisces).
Sunday night/Monday very early morning, at 12:16am EST, the Moon opposes the Sun in almost 1 degrees of Leo — this is a very powerful Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse becoming exact. We started to feel this aspect build from the moment the Moon entered Leo earlier today (Sunday at 10:54pm EST).
Once every six months, the Sun, Moon, and Earth align precisely enough for a Solar or Lunar Eclipse to occur. Eclipses are always powerfully connected to the Moon Nodes and thus to our Soul’s Journey. If you’d like to learn more about this month’s Full Moon, click here to watch my Lunar Eclipse video.
This Full Moon is the second of two Eclipses in January and it’s extra-powerful. There are two main reasons for this: firstly, because it’s a SuperMoon — these occur when the Moon is either Full or New while at its closest distance to the Earth — they are therefore more powerful. This often means an increase in emotional reactivity, plus greater awareness around the issues connected to the particular Full Moon energy in question.
Secondly, as the last Eclipse in the Leo/Aquarius polarity, it completes an Eclipse cycle that started in Feb. 2017 — this put an emphasis on freedom and individuality, while redefining our approach to improving our future — and paradoxically, also on our need to belong. We are also invited to become more aware of our mind’s activities, of group affiliations out there in the world, and of moving towards a courageous, open, and self-expressed heart — one that knows how to joyfully and playfully connect to the “here and now”.
Think back over the last two years, and ask yourself: What has shifted for me, in my attitudes towards the collective (or “humanity”)? How about like-minded people or political/group affiliations? Was there likewise a shift in my desire for more joy? For authentic self-expression? Heartfelt actions? If I think back to the last Solar Eclipse in Leo (August 11th, 2018), what brought the possibility for more joy into my life since then? Have I been able to get more in touch with my inner child?
To read more about this powerful Eclipse and get all the Full Moon Questions, click here
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 0-6 degrees of Leo, Aquarius, Taurus, Scorpio or 26-29 degrees of Cancer, Capricorn, Aries, or Libra? If so, you are more affected by this month’s Full Moon. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
And…
A heads up for next Monday (Jan. 21st): the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo all day (see Sunday late evening for details). Sunday night/Monday very early morning, at 12:16am EST, this month’s powerful Full Moon (in almost 1 degrees of Leo) becomes exact. This is also a Lunar Eclipse and a SuperMoon. In the morning, a challenging Mars/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 6:48am EST; we started to feel this aspect from Jan. 15th on; it will be strong until Jan. 26th. More about the details in next week’s forecast 🙂
