Attuned to the Subtleties of Human Interaction
This week’s headline items: Jupiter’s Square to the Moon Nodes becomes exact on Monday morning; it is still time to set out New Moon Intentions on Monday and Tuesday; Uranus starts to slow down again (station) on Thursday; it is time to start taking actions on our New Moon intentions on Friday; the first Quarter Moon in Aries becomes exact on Sunday early afternoon.
There will be three Moon VoC phases this week: Monday late morning (for a little over 6 hours); Tuesday evening (for 23.5 hours); and Friday late afternoon (for 7 hours).
Before we get to this week’s forecast, I’d like to mention these two things one more time:

Now, this week’s Forecast…
Monday, January 3rd:
Monday, the Moon remains in ambitious, goal-oriented Capricorn until 5:44pm EST. We tend to be more realistic, serious, cautious; this can support practical endeavors and financial matters.
Our ambition surges and brings with it a need for structure and planning; when you add in the pragmatism this aspect supports, you can see how this could be a very productive time for business and long-term goals. Our reputation becomes very important to us.
As best as you can during this aspect, avoid “should-ing” on yourself. Take the pressure off, perhaps by saying “I am doing the best I can and that’s all I can ever do” 😉
If you haven’t set your New Moon Intentions yet, today (Monday) until 11:21am EST and then after 5:44pm EST is still time to do so during the most potent time… If you’d like some input on how to do that, check out this article — to (re-)watch my New Moon video: click here
Monday morning, Jupiter in Pisces squares the Moon Nodes in Gemini-Sagittarius. This becomes exact around 6:40am EST; however we have been feeling this Square since Dec. 18th on; and it will still be strong until Jan. 18th. This Square invites us to take a closer look at our belief system and social-cultural conditioning, open our hearts, and make choices accordingly.
Squares mark turning points — and this one is a turning point in our collective journey. We are being asked to take a 90-degree turn, to see the bigger picture, and to grow beyond the collective narrative.
We are asked to look for solutions that stem from a deep understanding of oneness and interconnectedness with all that is alive on this planet. Ask yourself: What road might lead to greater heart connections? What might open up if I became more connected to the part of me that is pure love? What if I took a 5% more positive attitude towards human life and all its paradoxes?
Here are some more questions: What might it look like for me personally if the deepest perspective shift was not political, or scientific, but spiritual? What might promote a spiritual perspective around my connection to all of my surroundings? What am I aware of right now that would shift my perspective if I allowed myself to “feel into it”?
To read more about Jupiter’s transit through Pisces, please also read some or all of my article: “Jupiter in Pisces 2021-2022” or for a deeper look in connection with your own birth chart, get my webinar: “Jupiter in Pisces 2021-.2022” here
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 0-3 degrees of Pisces, Gemini, Sagittarius, or Virgo? If so, you will be more aware of this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Sagittarius (Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius).
Monday late morning, at 11:21am EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), for a little over 6 hours, until 5:44pm EST. Use this intuitive time to focus on long-term successes. We might get a little obsessed with a project or task — as best as you can, take breaks and don’t forget to practice a little self-care 😉
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday late morning until early evening ahead of time.
Monday evening at 5:44pm EST, the Moon moves into freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius, where it will journey until Wednesday evening. The energy of the Aquarian Moon relates to our instinct for improvement. Reactions are more intellectual than emotional; interactions more impersonal than personal. We are likely to have an increased fascination with the new and unusual.
Social gatherings, anything connected with group ideals and goals for the future, brainstorming, new ideas and methods, progress: all these are promoted during the time the Moon moves through Aquarius. Again: we have our eyes on the future — or on outer space 🙂 Personal freedom becomes paramount.
Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius — and the planet is currently moving through Taurus, making these next two days a great time to take a look at our physical connection both to our own body and our finances — and to what is most important to us on this planet.
It’s also a great time to innovate and make changes in our lives around any physical matters that no longer serve us, or that keep us stuck in the past; we need to elevate our thinking if we want our bodies and the planet to vibrate at a higher frequency.
Ask yourself: Do I need to give my body something different to raise it to a higher vibration? When I tune in to myself, what insights does my body provide?
Where in my life have I become too rigid in connection with my body, my physical resources, or my talents? Where have I become too comfortable with those things? What is my connection to the Earth? To Nature? Do I need more physical space? More physical movement?

Tuesday morning, presents an opportunity to connect with others and engage in a healing process that can bring us progress, (Moon in Aquarius sextiles Chiron in Aries, exact at 7:35am EST)
Tuesday late morning, we may feel pulled in two quite different directions: On the one hand, we experience a need for connecting with like-minded people and remaining objective; on the other hand, we want to make space for pursuing our financial vision — and we also want to break free from outdated value systems.
As such, we may have to address what we value, both in others, and in ourselves (which informs our self-worth); as best as you can, make adjustments and find creative solutions when it comes to these energies. (Moon in Aquarius squares Uranus in Taurus, exact at 11:25am EST)
Tuesday early afternoon, we are invited to focus on a long-term vision for our communities that involves a mature and realistic approach. As best as you can, take your time, and do your best to come from a place of integrity. (Moon in Aquarius conjuncts Saturn in Aquarius, exact at 1:44pm EST)
Tuesday evening, at 7:45pm EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for 23.5 hours until 7:17pm EST (Wednesday evening). Use this intuitive time to connect and collaborate with like-minded people, have an adventure, or simply do something that gets us excited about the future.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Tuesday evening until Wednesday evening ahead of time.

Wednesday late morning, an opportune Venus/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 11:03am EST. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Saturday evening (Jan. 1st); and it will remain strong until this week, Saturday evening. This is an opportunity for compassion and kindness in our social and work-related interactions. We are more attuned to the subtleties of human interaction and are more inclined to naturally cooperate with others.
We tend to “feel” each other on an energetic level now, a sensitive approach is therefore recommended. This is also an opportunity for imaginative or romantic interactions. Remember: opportunities are openings; they aren’t necessarily handed to us — we have to “take” them and make something of them.
Ask yourself: How might meditation or mindfulness — simply being present in the now-moment to all the energies inside and around me — support my long-term goals and collaborations with others? What might transpire if I brought 5% more compassion and acceptance towards my inner and outer long-term processes?
Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 19-23 degrees of Capricorn, Pisces, Scorpio, or Taurus? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra, or Pisces (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Neptune rules Pisces).
Wednesday evening at 7:17pm EST, the Moon moves into creative, sensitive Pisces, where it will journey until Saturday very early morning. This Moon placement often finds us more sensitive, intuitive, idealistic, and imaginative than normal. We also have a greater capacity for compassion, sympathy, and affection for all — but especially for those who suffer or can be regarded as the underdog.
But… that very idealism could also be our downfall at this time: We tend to see the best in everyone and everything, and when reality doesn’t match our idyllic vision, we might feel upset and even victimized by those harsh realities. A way out of this is to channel our idealism into spiritual or creative endeavors.
It’s also a great time for releasing fears — especially the ones based on a sense of separation — and experiencing “oneness”. Feelings tend to flow more freely; as best as you can, let them — in fact, “going with the flow” is the best way to go for the next couple of days.
Neptune is the ruler of Pisces — and it is currently in its own sign, making these next two days a great time to take a look at our inner spiritual connection to our “higher Self”, “Source”, “God/Goddess”.
It’s also a great time to allow all there is, as it is, and to go with the flow, following our intuitive voice as much as possible. We are being asked to tap into the “feminine” energies within ourselves so we can start to vibrate on a universal frequency.
Ask yourself: Is my “higher Self” asking for more introverted/inner love-time? If I tune in with my intuitive voice, what am I receiving? Sensing?
Where in my life have I become too disconnected from life? Love? God/Goddess? What is my connection to the spiritual realm? What about the “heart realm”? How could nature and/or animals teach me about those realms?
Do I need more downtime? More resting-time? More compassion? How might being kind to myself, and trusting the process of Life create a more loving connection with the universe?
Thursday, Jan. 6th:
Thursday, the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day (see Wednesday evening for details).
Thursday afternoon, we get an opportunity to be very present, to connect with others and share a new vision about the Earth, or to reinvent how we connect with “the good things in life”.
As best as you can, bring a sense of flow and faith to who you are being; allow yourself to intuitively share some progressive, new ideas about what is important to you, and things that could make yours and other people’s life easier on a very practical level. (Moon in Pisces sextiles Uranus in Taurus, exact at 2:04pm EST)
Also, on Thursday, Uranus begins to slow down again (station) — it will come to a complete halt in almost 11 degrees of Taurus (on Jan. 18th) — ending its 5-month Retrograde phase. We will feel this Station phase until Jan. 30th; until then, anything connected to Uranus’s energy will come into our awareness quite strongly; we are faced with this planet’s message.
Uranus is all about breaking away from traditional structures, moving towards a new future, a future that serves others as well as ourselves. Keyword: Freedom. We might have flashes of insight or new ideas about what needs to change in our lives. Definitely expect the unexpected.
Uranus also rules electronics, technology and the internet, so don’t be surprised if you experience some interruptions or short-term failures in these areas. Group activities are also ruled by Uranus, so these will also be more at the forefront of our awareness. As best as you can, stay open and flexible, go with the flow — and pay attention to those messages from the Universe 😉
As best as you can, take a closer look at whatever is “in your face” for the next 3.5 weeks. Our intuitions will be very strong during this time and we have access to sudden insights and ideas. This gives us the opportunity to take a look to see how free we actually feel.
Are we honoring our individual value to the fullest? Are we connecting to a larger earthly vision? Is anything holding us back? What did you discover about earthly visions and physical freedoms these past 5 months?
Some of us will be more affected than others, depending on how it interacts with our personal chart. If you have your Ascendant, Career Point or any personal planets in 8-13 degrees of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo or Aquarius, you will be more affected by this particular Station phase.
Friday, Jan. 7th:
Friday, the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day (see Wednesday evening for details).
Friday all day or tomorrow, Saturday until 10:30am EST, is your last chance to register for our Special webinar event: “A Look Ahead to All of 2022!”

On Friday, after 12:41am and until 5:23pm EST, it is time to start to take action on your New Moon intentions. If you set Intentions on Jan 2nd, 3rd or 4th — after the New Moon became exact — today (Friday) will be the best time to take relevant actions.
If you wrote your intentions down, go back and take another look at what came through intuitively. If you didn’t write anything down, get quiet for a moment and check in with yourself: What actions are calling to me?
Friday early evening, at 5:23pm EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for 7 hours, until 12:26am EST (Friday night/Saturday very early morning). Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to be guided by inspiration, and fully commit to a project or task that might serve you long-term. As best as you can, listen and trust the subtle messages in your heart that stir you towards success.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Friday evening until Wednesday very early morning ahead of time.
Saturday, Jan. 8th:

Saturday at 12:26am EST, the Moon moves into pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey until Tuesday late morning. Life is an adventure, we’re more open to new ideas, and have great enthusiasm for new projects. Patience is certainly not our strong suit at this time, but we can decide quickly, and act immediately.
Our independence and dynamism are important to us right now, so we may find it hard to be disciplined or accept advice at this time; in general, our responses to others tend to be more assertive or even aggressive. If you find your foot tapping, try hitting the gym, or finding other ways to burn off the body’s excess energy.
This Moon placement also starts the build-up towards the first Quarter Moon, which will be exact on Sunday evening.
Saturday evening, a Sun/Venus alignment in almost 19 degrees of Capricorn becomes exact at 7:48pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Thursday evening on, and it will remain strong until next week, Monday evening (Jan. 10th). We are motivated to strike a balance in our relationships and our career environment. If you have negotiations going on at this time, it’s very likely they will go smoothly.
Graciousness, diplomacy, charm, and a healthy dose of realism: This is a good period for social affairs, pleasure, amusement, and romance, especially if it’s about building something concrete and long-term, something traditional or something connected to status and expertise.
Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 16-22 degrees of Capricorn, Cancer, Aries, or Libra? If so, you may be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Leo (the Sun rules Leo; Venus rules Taurus and Libra)
Sunday, Jan. 9th:
Sunday, the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day (see Saturday very early morning for details).
Sunday afternoon, at 1:11pm EST, the first Quarter Moon in 19.5 degree of Aries becomes exact. . We started to feel this aspect build from the moment the Moon entered Aries Saturday very early morning. The Moon in pioneering, enthusiastic, fast-paced Aries makes a challenging aspect to the Sun practical, cautious, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn.
We feel compelled to take action. Last week, on Jan. 2nd, the New Moon in Capricorn became exact: “Seeds” planted then are probably “sprouting” by now — and making their first real contact with the outside world. This is therefore a time to stretch and grow — and create some forward momentum. We may feel anxious or unusually busy.
As best as you can, go one breath at a time. Allow for changes, remain flexible (as much as possible), and find creative solutions for your day-to-day interactions with others.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 17-22 degrees of Aries, Capricorn, Libra, Cancer? If so, you will feel the effects of this first Quarter Moon more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
Sunday evening, an opportune Mercury/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 9:07pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Friday evening on, and it will remain strong until Jan. 20th (a longer time than usual due to Mercury’s Retrograde phase). We have an opportunity to bring healing energy to our concrete mind and to our thoughts. We also have a chance to heal insecurities in our verbal, in-person, social media or email interactions.
We are better able now to tune out that automatic/critical inner voice, in favor of more loving and compassionate structures for thinking and communicating. By bringing love and understanding to our thinking processes, we have a chance to move beyond entrenched habits, like “impatient self-talk”, or the use of aggressive language (swear words for example).
Here’s a few good “chew toys” for your mind at this time: What was your family’s attitude towards communication? Toward speaking up for yourself? What if you tried a kinder approach for a bit? Does your inner dialog really have to repeat what they said when you were 3 or 5 years old? What if you tried using a gentler voice for the next ten minutes or so?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 6-11 degrees of Aquarius, Aries, Gemini, or Sagittarius? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo).
Sunday night/Monday very early morning at 2:23am EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for a little over 7 hours, until 9:47am EST (Monday late morning). Use this intuitive time to make some adjustments and find creative ways to work with the energies at play: On the one hand, as best as you can, follow your inner compass and take care of your own needs; on the other hand, deepen your authentic connection to whatever you are building long-term.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Sunday night until Monday late morning ahead of time.
And…
A heads up for next Monday (Jan. 10th): the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries & VoC until 9:47am EST; at which time, the Moon moves into steady, peaceful Taurus, where it will journey until next week, Wednesday evening. In the late evening, an opportune Sun/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 10:28pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Saturday evening on, and it will remain strong until next week Wednesday evening (Jan. 12th). Also, Mercury begins to slow down (station) — preparing for its 3-week Retrograde phase. More about all the details in next week’s forecast : )
