Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, July 26th:

Monday, the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all dayIt will journey there until Wednesday morning. This Moon placement often finds us more sensitive, intuitive, idealistic and imaginative than normal. We also have a greater capacity for compassion, sympathy, and affection for all — but especially for those who suffer or can be regarded as the underdog.

But… that very idealism could also be our downfall at this time: We tend to see the best in everyone and everything, and when reality doesn’t match our idyllic vision, we might feel upset and even victimized by those harsh realities. A way out of this is to channel our idealism into spiritual or creative endeavors.

It’s also a great time for releasing fears — especially the ones based on a sense of separation — and experiencing “oneness”. Feelings tend to flow more freely; as best as you can, let them — in fact, “going with the flow” is the best way to go for the next couple of days.

Monday early morning, we experience a need for inner adjustments. We feel uneasy or awkward and need to make a choice. Making this choice demands we develop inner awareness around two very different urges: on the one hand, the desire to be creative, outgoing and self-expressed — and on the other hand, the need to go within and be quiet, so we can hear the subtle voice of our intuition.  (Moon in Pisces quincunxes Sun in Leo, exact at 5:55am EDT)

Monday morning, we are invited to make clear choices when it comes to relating to others. Do your best to discern what works for you, and what doesn’t, while also connecting and engaging with a compassionate heart. (Moon in Pisces opposes Venus in Virgo, exact at 9:04am EDT)

Also on Monday, Chiron ends its Station phase and gets back to its normal pace through the sky — but appears to be moving backward through the sky (as seen from Earth — that’s what “retrograde” refers to). We have a chance to do some internal work on any wounding or insecurities around personal identity, physical appearance, or leadership abilities that came up over the last couple of weeks.

Tuesday, July 27th:

Tuesday, the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day (see Monday morning for details).

Tuesday late evening, at 9:12pm EDT, Mercury — the energy of communication — changes signs from sensitive, protective Cancer to fun-loving, expressive Leo. It will journey there until Aug. 11th. Our mind is more able to connect to our heart, so we tend to feel generous and expressive. This is a great time for gratitude, compliments, connecting to your inner joy and being playful. The only thing that can come between you and your heart is pride; do your best not to put it there.

Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo? If so, you will feel the need for being self-expressed and playful more strongly. If you have a Leo Sun-sign or Rising-sign, you will be more chatty for the next 2 weeks.

Tuesday at 9:13pm EDT, we enter a Moon VoC that will last for almost 9 hours, until 5:58am EDT (Wednesday morning). Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to be guided by inspiration, and fully commit to a project or task that might serve you long-term. As best as you can, listen and trust the subtle messages in your heart, that stir you towards success.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Tuesday late evening until Wednesday morning ahead of time.

Tuesday late evening, a somewhat challenging Mercury/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 9:45pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Monday late evening on; it will remain strong until later Wednesday late evening. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward — and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed if we’re to see what needs adjusting.

This aspect is a fork in the road: We may want to express our extroverted, creative side but we also need to expand our ability to tune in to our intuitive inner voice. Do we go after an exchange of information and share ourselves in a self-expressed, joyful way? Or expand our perspectives and attitudes around our spiritual/intuitive understanding of life?

Awareness is key with this aspect: What demands to be done? What would a broader view show us? How might we use what we then see?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or any personal planets) in the following: 0-1 degrees of LeoPisces or 29 degrees of  Cancer or Aquarius? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Sagittarius (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Jupiter of Sagittarius).

Wednesday, July 28th:

Wednesday, the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces and VoC until 5:58am EDT; at that time, the Moon moves into pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey until Friday afternoon. Life is an adventure, we’re more open to new ideas, and have great enthusiasm for new projects. Patience is certainly not our strong suit at this time, but we can decide quickly, and act immediately.

Our independence and dynamism are important to us right now, so we may find it hard to be disciplined or accept advice at this time; in general, our responses to others tend to be more assertive or even aggressive. If you find your foot tapping, try hitting the gym, or finding other ways to burn off the body’s excess energy.

Wednesday morning, at 8:43am EDT, Jupiter (currently retrograde) re-enters freedom-loving, forward-thinking, objective Aquarius, where it will journey until Dec. 28th.

Due to Jupiter’s Retrograde phase, it journeyed through Aquarius already once before: between Dec.20th, 2020 and May 13th, 2021. Think back to that time: What did you explore in your various networks and communities at that time?

For the next 5 months, Jupiter — the principle of expansion, generosity, and personal growth — will focus once again on group consciousness, group visions, and networks of like-minded people; the opportunity now is to bring the enthusiastic energies of Jupiter to our communities, creating equality and open-minded exchanges with others.

Jupiter in Aquarius also promotes a greater understanding of our potential for everyone to express their individuality, celebrating each other’s differences. It helps us to have faith in our ability to turn challenges into change when we come together as one mind, one heart, one consciousness.

While Jupiter is in Aquarius (until Dec. 2021), we definitely attract the most good fortune when we are tolerant and fair, inventive, impartial, and cooperative. We value people and personal freedom. Unique perspectives, skills, and talents will serve us most. We are more open to new methods and want to see progress in the world. Possibilities for great tolerance and major humanitarianism are very strong; in particular, we are invited to offer freedom of choice to others.

We are also more able to think outside the box, are more mentally adventurous, ready, willing, and able to learn. We are into “mind expansion”, and are less attached to our values because we are generally more impartial and open-minded now — in fact, an original mind is what we seek. Intellectual stimulation is likewise welcome now, and the pursuit of technological inventions to make the future better, and easier for everyone, is a worthy goal.

Jupiter in Aquarius also helps to create… If you are already a  Member of my online community, feel free to read the whole article here.

Thursday, July 29th:

Thursday, the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day (see Wednesday morning for details).

Thursday early afternoon, a Mars/Jupiter opposition becomes exact at 11:50pm EDT. We started to feel this opposition build from  Sunday afternoon (July 25th) on; it will remain strong until next week, Monday evening (August 2nd).

Back in March 2020, we experienced a Mars/Jupiter conjunction in almost 23 degrees of Capricorn: What seeds of expansion got planted in your life back then? Which of those seeds have sprouted and flourished? Which might need a little extra something to help them bear fruit?

Between July 25th and August 2nd, the following is particularly important to us: our communities and networks, our ability to actively explore new perspectives or have a new vision for humanity, and our desire to get started on projects and personal goals (especially anything that is connected to creativity, active self-expression, having fun or taking a risk). We need to find the balance point between these desires.

On the other hand, we are also optimistic, enthusiastic and impulsive; while this can be very attractive, some of us may have some difficulty getting along with people, since we tend to be more competitive than cooperative. This competitiveness is not aggression: we simply enjoy a good spirited contest.

Given we have an abundance of physical energy at this time, we may consider channeling it into exercise or outdoor activities (like hiking), or playing fun games. We may also feel more restless at this time and we may need a lot of personal freedom. We are enterprising and ambitious — we want to “make it big” — so watch out that you are not overreaching. How might you catch yourself if you started to do that?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career point (or any personal planets) in the following: 26-29 degrees of Leo, Aquarius, Taurus, Scorpio or in 0-2 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you may feel the effects of this opposition more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Sagittarius. (Mars is the ruler of Aries; Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius).

Thursday afternoon, at 4:32pm EDT,Mars changes signs from fun-loving, risk-taking Leo to detail-oriented, practical, service-oriented Virgo, where it will journey until Sept. 14th.. With Mars in Virgo, we are more inclined to put our energy towards a project that takes care of our day-to-day, practical matters or a health issues.

Creating order in our daily lives and knowing what’s coming next is easier for us now. We are better at organizing, planning on a short-term scale, and doing errands at this time. We may feel that we do things better than others right now; therefore we may not give others a chance to improve their skills or show us a different way of doing something.

As best as you can, keep the focus on yourself and watch out for impatient outbursts or for the need to be right at all cost. Be of service to others, and remember that perfection is not a goal, it is a journey. How can you move towards improving things in your life, rather than having things be perfect all the time?

If you have an Aries Sun-sign or Rising-sign, you are going to feel more focused on practical details and health issues. If you are a Virgo Sun-sign or Rising sign, you will feel quite energized and passionate for the next 6.5 weeks. Channeling this energy into physical exercise, a work or health project might be advisable.

Friday, July 30th:

Friday, the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries until 4:08pm EDT (see Wednesday morning for details).

Friday early afternoon, a somewhat challenging Venus/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 12:27pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from this Thursday early afternoon on; it will be strong until Saturday early afternoon. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, sort of awkward, and need to make a choice; we must develop inner awareness to see what needs adjusting.

It can be hard to see what we are actually responsible for in relationships, so we sometimes take on unnecessary responsibilities, to ensure the relationships continue. We may ask ourselves: “Do people like me for myself, or for what I do for them?” If you’re confused on this point (or any point), as best as you can, keep choosing the “better” alternative and make adjustments as necessary.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 9-12 degrees of Virgo or Aquarius? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Capricorn (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn)

Friday at 3:38pm EDT, we enter a brief Moon VoC that will last for 30 minutes, until 4:08pm EDT. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to connect with like-minded people and move a project forward that serves your community. It’s time for a new perspective: What new vantage point could we take? What needs to be considered, so we can move forward faster?

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Friday afternoon ahead of time.

Friday at 4:08pm EDT, the Moon moves into steady, peaceful Taurus, where it will journey until next week, Monday early morning (Aug. 2nd). We love all physical comforts, prefer consistency, and would rather stick with what we know works well.

In other words: change is not our favorite thing and “rushing things” goes against our grain. What is our favorite thing for the next two days? It’s probably slowing down and getting in touch with whatever delights our senses 😉 This Moon placement also starts the build up towards the last Quarter Moon (exact Saturday late morning).

Saturday, July 31st:

Saturday, the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus all day  (see Friday afternoon for details).

Saturday morning, we are invited to make some adjustments in our lives. As best as you can, find creative solutions to seemingly unsolvable situations. Make space for connections with children or playful adults, for actively creating something, or for staying grounded in your body (preferably surrounded by and enjoying nature and beauty).  (Moon in Taurus squares Mercury in Leoexact at 6:24am EDT)

Saturday morning, at 9:16am EDT, the last Quarter Moon in 8.5 degrees of Taurus becomes exact. We started to feel this from the moment the Moon entered Taurus, Friday afternoon. The Moon in steady, peaceful Taurus makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in self-expressed, proud Leo.

This may bring challenges; however, it also energizes us to face what demands completion or transformation. This Moon phase brings us closer to the next New Moon (exact on Aug. 8th).

During the last Quarter Moon, we are better served by reviewing what we began around the last New Moon (which was on July 9th). Rather than starting major new projects, it serves us to take a look at what needs to be completed.

What — if anything — needs last-minute adjustments? What did you discover since July 9th? What did it mean for you? What actions could shift the things you seeded or started in early-mid July?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 6-11 degrees of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio or Aquarius? If so, you will feel this month’s last Quarter Moon quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer, since the Sun rules Leo and the Moon rules Cancer.

Saturday early afternoon, on the one hand, we need to experience peace and physical pleasure; on the other, we need to take some time to focus on our future visions, on making progress, and see what’s realistic for us. We may need to make some adjustments between these two needs that are seemingly at odds.(Moon in Taurus squares Saturn in Aquarius, exact at 12:48pm EDT).

Sunday, Aug.1st:

Sunday, the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus all day(see Friday afternoon for details).

Sunday late morning, a Sun/Mercury alignment in almost 9 degrees of Leo becomes exact at 10:08am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Thursday evening on, it will remain strong until next week, Tuesday evening (Aug. 3rd). When the Sun and Mercury come together, we are especially sharp, communicative, and open.

This aspect indicates a confident mind and an analytical approach to life. Intelligence and communication abilities are strong at this time; however, we may not listen as well as the other speaks — we might be too busy thinking about what to say next.

Given that this alignment takes place in Leo, we may be particularly self-expressed, colorful, heart-centered — and perhaps even a little self-involved — so do your best to avoid prideful conversations.

We want an active role in communications — it’s very hard for us to passively listen and absorb information right now. What we say or write now is impactful, so choose your words wisely: If people hung on your every word, what would you say then? What would you hold back from saying?

Our opinions are strong and our thinking independent — and we’re proud of both — so our egos may get bruised if we don’t feel “heard”. As best as you can, express yourself fully, knowing that others may have a different opinion and that’s ok.

Ask yourself: might it serve me to practice listening to others and myself? What might a practice like this look like? What if I acted as if I was being 100% heard by others? And, what if I returned the favor?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 6-12 degrees of Leo, Aquarius, Scorpio, or Taurus? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo, Gemini or Virgo (the Sun rules Leo; Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo).

Sunday afternoon, a somewhat challenging Venus/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 1:17pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from this  Saturday afternoon on, it will remain strong until Monday afternoon (Aug. 2nd)This aspect operates more on an internal level. We may feel uneasy or insecure in our relationships — and be faced with a choice — we must develop an inner awareness if we are to see what needs adjusting.

As you can imagine, this could make social interactions somewhat awkward; as best as you can, connect with kindness towards all (including yourself 🙂

We may also have a hard time making financial decisions that feel satisfactory. As best as you can, bring a good dose of compassion and understanding to yourself and embrace your own humanity as much as possible… and remember: like everything else, this is only temporary 😉

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 12-14 degrees of Virgo or Aries? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Pisces (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Neptune is the ruler of Pisces).

Sunday early evening, a Mercury/Saturn opposition becomes exact at 5:50pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from this Saturday afternoon on, it will remain strong until next week, Tuesday afternoon (Aug. 3rd). This aspect might bring some misunderstandings or feelings of restriction. We may bring a pessimistic attitude to our interactions and find ourselves in conflict with others. In other words, we might experience communication problems.

It can appear that others are not especially sympathetic to us. However, it is important that we examine how we are communicating with others and take responsibility for how our choice of words lands for others. As best as you can, find your inner balance so you can speak from an open, joyful, and truthful place — while remaining committed to your long-term visions for society.

We are also called to examine our inner dialog for familiar, rigid or negative thought patterns that have been holding us back. We are ridding ourselves of interactions that no longer serve us, learning to cut out the fluff so we can focus on the important. It’s better right now to reassess and perfect our commitments, rather than present them — first, let’s check to see if they align with what brings us joy.

Fact is, we are most likely harder on ourselves regarding our long-term commitments in our communities (or with like-minded people) at this time. We also tend to worry about what others think of us. Getting objective feedback from others is key! Though we crave it, we may have a harder time wholeheartedly receiving support from others — as best as you can, acknowledge others (and yourself) for doing their best, whether via writing or saying it out loud 😉

Think back to mid-February 2021, when Mercury was conjunct Saturn in Aquarius. What new thoughts got planted back then? Where have you been learning about (or even building) something long-term in your social interactions? What social commitments did you make at that time? And with whom?

As you develop more awareness of what you have (and haven’t) learned since then, ask these follow-up questions: Do I like what I see? Is there more room for integration? What if I were 5% more self-responsible with my thinking and conditioning? What if, just for today, I brought 5% more authentic and joyful self-expression to my social interactions? What if I did the same with my “inner dialogue”?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 7-13 degrees of Leo, Aquarius, Scorpio, or Taurus? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Capricorn (the Sun rules Leo; Saturn rules Capricorn).

And…

A heads up for next Monday (Aug. 2nd): the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus until 4:46am EDT (see Friday afternoon for details). In the very early morning, a Sun/Saturn opposition becomes exact at 2:14am EDT; we started to feel this aspect build from July 29th on, it will remain strong until Aug 5th. At 3:41am EDT, we enter a Moon VoC that will last for an hour, until 4:46am EDT; at that time, the Moon moves into Geminiwhere it will journey until Aug. 4th. In the late evening, a harmonious Mercury/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 11:41pm EDT; we started to feel this aspect build from early Aug. 1st on, it will remain strong until Aug. 4thMore about all the details in next week’s forecast 🙂
