June 11th – 17th | Astrologer Coach Sonja Francis

Simplify and Be Patient — Forecast for June 11th – 17th, 2018

For me personally, last week was all about being careful not to push, and instead allowing the natural flow of things to take its course. The many long Moon void of course phases definitely helped with that 🙂

This week’s headline items: on Tuesday, the Neptune Station phase intensifies and Mercury changes signs from Gemini to Cancer.  On Wednesday, the New Moon in Gemini becomes exact and Venus changes signs from Cancer to Leo; on Sunday, it’s time to start taking actions on our New Moon Intentions.

There will be four Moon VoC phases this week: Monday late evening (for almost 3.5 hours), Wednesday afternoon (for almost 12 hours), Friday early afternoon (for 15 hours) and Sunday late evening (for a little over 5 hours).

Monday (June 11th): the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus all day. We love all physical comforts, prefer consistency, and would rather stick with what we know works well.

In other words: change is not our favorite thing and “rushing things” goes against our grain. What is our favorite thing for today? It’s probably, slowing down and getting in touch with whatever delights our senses 😉

Monday early afternoon, a somewhat challenging Sun/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 1:14pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last Sunday morning on, it will remain strong until Tuesday evening (June 12th). We feel uneasy about something, sort of awkward; we need to make a choice. We need to develop inner awareness, so we can make adjustments.

This might concern compromising with others. Our fear of being manipulated might make us stubborn, or it might make us manipulative ourselves. As best as you can, keep choosing the “better” alternative/the higher road, adjusting as needed.

We might be forced to focus, time and again, on details we would prefer to ignore. When life slows down, or becomes uncomfortable, simplify and be patient. We are changing and growing in ways that we can’t comprehend right now. Stay as open and observant as you can.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 19-22 degrees of Gemini or Capricorn? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Scorpio (the Sun rules Leo, Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio).

Monday at 11:29pm EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for almost 3.5 hours, until 2:53am EDT (Tuesday very early morning). This intuitive time could be a good time to connect with others from the heart. What if you let yourself enjoy others, in mutual pursuit of any shared values?

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can,…

…don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday night ahead of time.

Tuesday (June 12th) at 2:53am EDT, the Moon moves into chatty, versatile Gemini, where it will journey until Thursday very early morning. For the next two days, we like to learn, connect and interact as much as possible. “Busy” feels good: connecting online, on the phone, or sharing face-to-face, preferably multi-tasking all the way…

The one thing we can do without is boredom: If our mind is not engaged in some way, we might as well curl up and play dead 🙂 This Moon placement starts the build-up towards the New Moon (exact on Wednesday afternoon — fee free to watch the New Moon video here).

Tuesday at 4:00pm EDT, Mercury moves from curious, quick-witted Gemini into protective, nurturing Cancer. It will journey there until June 29th. During this cycle, we are more sensitive to our surroundings, especially when listening and taking in information.

We also have more sympathy towards the suffering of others. On the other hand, we have less objectivity, as emotions are always involved in our interactions with others; this could also mean we end up taking things more personally than we really need to — perhaps even to the extent that we start feeling sorry for ourselves. As best as you can, remember to ask yourself: Is this really about me?

This is particularly true if you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo. You will feel a stronger need to connect with family or the people in your life that feel familiar and safe. You may also feel the need to talk about the past and work through past conditioning. If you are a Cancer Sun-sign or Rising-sign, you will be more chatty for the next 2 weeks.

Tuesday, the Neptune station phase intensifies at 16.5 degrees of Pisces. Neptune will appear to move a lot more slowly through the sky until June 26th. It is getting ready to start its 5-month retrograde on June 18th.

As I mentioned in last week Friday’s blog entry already, a planet’s energies are more exalted during its “station period”; this has even more weight for an outer planet, as they move more slowly and their stations last much longer. This Neptune station is particularly strong since it occurs in Pisces (its own sign).

We become more aware of both the higher and lower vibrations of Neptune. The higher vibrations include compassion, intuition, creativity, forgiveness, acceptance, empathy, idealism, imagination, sacrificing something for a universal cause, being connected to all there is, and being present in the here and now.

The lower vibrations include feeling alone/separate, being lost in fantasy, confusion, non-realism, being addiction-prone, stuck in victim-behaviors or victim-thinking, suffering for others/or sacrificing ourselves for others so we get love/empathy from them, wishing it were otherwise, wanting to escape reality, wanting to be saved, and so on.

This awareness helps us to connect more fully to those energies as they exist within us. We can then see where we need to either embrace them more fully or connect with them in healthy ways that don’t involve getting lost in the murky lower vibrations of their expression.

Some of us will feel the effects of this station more than others: those of us with a Pisces Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant) — and those of us with personal planets and points in 14-19 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini or Sagittarius.

Wednesday (June 13th): this is a big day — lots going on! The Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini all day (see Tuesday very early morning for details).

Wednesday morning, an opportune Mercury/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 7:41am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Tuesday morning on, it will remain strong until Thursday morning. This brings an opportunity for insight and novelty. We might experience some really unusual conversations. Remember: an opportunity is not automatically given to us; we have to realize it.

This aspect also brings an opportunity to see things from a different perspective, or to put a new spin on our “old” thinking structure. We like to connect in unusual ways and any group activities or brainstorming with like-minded people could generate amazing insights — this might be a busy day. As best as you can — and as much as you want to — stay open to other dimensions 😉

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 29 degrees of Gemini, Aries, Aquarius, Leo, or 0-3 degrees of Cancer, Taurus, Virgo or Pisces? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or  Aquarius (Mercury is the ruler of Virgo and Gemini; Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius)

On Wednesday at 3:43pm EDT, the Moon aligns with the Sun in almost 23 degrees of Gemini. Not only is this the beginning of a new Moon cycle, it is also a “SuperMoon”; these occur when the Moon becomes either Full or New while at its closest distance to the Earth and are therefore more powerful.

They generate greater gravitational and electromagnetic forces and therefore increased effects on our physical, mental, and emotional bodies. This, in turn, facilitates greater shifts in consciousness. Feel free to also watch my video on the subject

There are also two stationing planets in this New Moon chart: Neptune and Mars. As such, both of these planets energies are exalted, making their vibrational spin louder — something is “in our face” in relation to these energies for the next month — something demands our attention and awareness. I will talk more about this below, but first let’s, look at the Gemini energy of this Super New Moon.

With the New Moon in Gemini, we are asked to connect with others, and share our little hearts out for the next four weeks. Gemini is the archetype of curiosity, communication in all its forms, and mental connections; it represents the development of language and intelligence, as well as our ability to adapt and relate to our immediate environment.

This is a “busy” energy focused on collecting information. We are invited to look at our mental programming and conditioned mind, to see what needs to go, and to see what new thought structures we might want to create.

Gemini is asking us to stay in motion, to think about all that we’ll need to know in order to move forward, and to connect and share ourselves with others. Here are some questions you can ask yourself for this New Moon: If my mind needed something to feel safe with others, what might that something be? What motivates me to learn? When I talk to myself about nurturing myself, what do I often say? What do I say to myself about receiving from others? How about when it comes to receiving from life itself?

The spiritual goal of Gemini is the development of perception, thought, and communication; we are therefore invited to become aware of all the new connections that are created in the brain with each new thought or memory — and the more we think a particular thought, the deeper those pathways become.

Ask yourself: What mental paths do I keep heading down, even though I know I don’t need to go there anymore? Where does the desire for emotional safety drown out the intuitive voice that knows how I could nurture myself?

Mercury (the ruler of Gemini) is in Cancer at the time of the New Moon. This invites us to tap into our emotional intelligence and learn about what we need to feel nurtured and connected to in life.

When it comes to learning, we’ll prefer a gentler, more intuitive approach. We learn best when we feel rested, loved and well-fed — we simply process information better when we can personalize it and connect it to what feels familiar or how we can help ourselves or others. We’ll likely find ourselves asking “Is this going to help me or others feel safe, nurtured or connected?” quite a bit 😉

Mercury in Cancer also makes a “mutual reception” to the Moon in Gemini — in other words, these planets are in each other’s signs at the time of the New Moon and therefore “mutually” support each others agenda. We seek out mental stimulation: sharing, teaching, learning, writing, etc. — and want to feel an emotional connection while we are doing all this! Helping others or receiving support moves to the top of our list…

Indeed, our need for safety and the familiar may keep us from exploring outside of the known, as may feeling sensitive or taking things personally. As best as you can, nurture yourself, and focus on things that support your emotional well-being in all areas of your life. Most of all: be kind to yourself and take baby steps! In other words, move out of your comfort zone by all means, just do so slowly.

Ask yourself: What might I discover about my motivations if I allowed myself to feel 5% more vulnerable? What if I consciously chose to nurture the parts of me that are sensitive, soft, and receptive? What might plenty of rest and affection do for me?

Another thing worth mentioning: Mercury in Cancer is also part of a T-Square, involving Chiron in Aries as the focus planet, and Saturn in Capricorn (opposing Mercury).

This creates some tension, but also an invitation to do some healing and to clarify our priorities. We may feel anxious or stressed by a situation or interaction involving family, or something to do with the home or real estate.

It’s a time when it’s especially good to be aware of our reactions and triggers. Our mind may be influenced by how we are feeling about a certain situation (or have felt about it in the past) and we could have some insecurities or feelings of shame show up. Ask yourself: What calls for a compassionate approach and understanding, when it comes to my relationship to myself? To others? The world? Might a balanced approach serve me?

As best as you can, bring a caring approach rather than a overly critical or perfectionistic one; ask yourself: How might relaxing my mind’s “memory module” and opening up to unconventional ways of thinking impact my healing process? What if I simply granted myself permission to go beyond what was?

As mentioned earlier, this New Moon chart has two stationing planets; both are slowing down as they prepare to come to halt and start their retrograde phases. The first one to go retrograde will be Neptune in Pisces (on June 18th); its preparation for retrograde amplifies the call to release whatever is no longer in the best interest of all concerned.

Neptune’s energy is strong, with both its higher and lower vibrations becoming clearer, helping us connect more fully to those energies as they exist within us and showing us where we need to either embrace them more fully, or connect to them in a healthy way — ways that don’t involve getting lost in the murky lower vibrations of their expression (escapism, addiction, denial, illusions, etc.).

Ask yourself: What is my relationship to my own imagination? How do I use it? Do I tend to imagine “worse case scenarios” or visualize what I wish to create?

What’s my relationship to my intuition? If I get quiet enough, can I catch its subtle voice? When I hear it, can I take that moment to really catch what it says — and then trust it? Who has the last word — my mind, or my heart?

As best as you can, simply observe: this is not about doing the right or wrong thing, but about becoming more aware of how we are connected to this energy. During Neptune’s retrograde, we’ll get a chance to connect to it from within, in such a way that we’ll feel its vibration inside of us. For a more detailed description of the Neptune Station phase, please read last week’s Weekly Forecast-entry for June 8th.

The second planet to start its retrograde phase is Mars (in Aquarius, beginning June 26th).

The station phase may bring up frustration or even outright anger. We may want to detach from our anger, for fear of losing our direction, or even our connection to those who share our ideals and vision.

Do your best to slow down, get present, and allow for it all to unfold — because one thing is for sure: you will make progress eventually — it’s just a matter of time, and timing is everything. Ask yourself: If I were being totally honest with myself, would I say the timing is “right”, right now? What needs to happen, before I can move forward with my vision, my dream?

The Mars/South Node alignment that I mentioned in last week’s Weekly Forecast on June 7th is also part of this New Moon chart. Ask yourself: What if I allowed myself to be both different and connected? What small or large actions might uplift the future, both for the collective and for me personally?

To sum this New Moon up: we are reminded of the importance of clear, honest, and heartfelt communication — with ourselves, as well as with others. Any New Moon is a good time to turn inward, and to reflect on where we are and where we want to go; this is especially true of this particular New Moon — we are certainly invited to go within this month!

Even though this may not be the right time to rapidly move things forward, it’s a great time for preparing ourselves and for becoming more aware and conscious of what’s needed to get to “the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow” 😉 As best as you can, remain curious, open-minded and adaptable for the next 28 days.

Ask yourself: Am I just my mind, or am I more than just my mind? If I’m more than just my mind, what is beyond the mind? What might I discover if I heard the feeling-tone of my inner dialogue, not just the wording? Does it perhaps point towards what is missing for me? Does my cup “runneth over”, or does it need a little topping off? What does receiving look like for me? What do I still need to release to be ready to receive my future? What internal healing process must be completed?

Feel free to also watch my video on the subject here

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 20-25 degrees of Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo or Pisces?  If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo, the Moon rules Cancer)

The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle; this is best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact — and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase. Since this particular New Moon is also the beginning of a Moon VoC phase, it’s best to wait 12 hours, until the Moon moves into Cancer.

Once the Moon VoC is over, you’ll have 33 hours to write some powerful intentions for this Lunar month — so the best and most potent time to set intentions for this month would be between 3:20am Thursday very early morning (on June 14th), and 12:18pm EDT on Friday early afternoon (on June 15th) — all New York time.

If you live in a timezone other than EDT (US East Coast-time), feel free to join my Facebook Fan-page or follow me on twitter. I will be posting reminders on Thursday throughout the day, and Friday morning to let you know when it is time to set your intentions 😉

Also on Wednesday 3:43pm EDT, as the New Moon becomes exact, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for almost 12 hours, until 3:20am EDT (Thursday very early morning). Use this intuitive time to simply be still. Connect to your mind’s wisdom, observe your mind and your feeling body; do your best to articulate for yourself what you need in the moment.

Surprisingly, this will actually bring clarity to what we need from ourselves and others. Finally, as always during VoC, take it easy — go with the flow. You may also want to plan Wednesday afternoon until Thursday very early morning ahead of time.

Wednesday late afternoon, a challenging Mercury/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 5:28pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Tuesday morning on, it will remain strong until Friday morning. This combination might bring up some insecurities in our verbal, in-person or email interactions.

That said, this could also be an opportunity for healing; we are energized to move past harsh criticism of ourselves or others, towards more loving and compassionate structures for thinking and communicating. As best as you can, stretch yourself — and be open to bringing love and understanding to it all (and that includes you) 🙂

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point or any personal planets in the following: 29 degrees of Gemini, Pisces, Virgo, Gemini, or 0-5 degrees of CancerAries, Libra, or Capricorn? If so, you are more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo).

Wednesday early evening,  at 5:54pm EDT, Venus changes signs from sensitive, protective Cancer to fun-loving, extroverted Leo. It will journey there until July 9th. Venus in Leo changes how we “do” relationships. We’re “in love with love”, so we especially appreciate (and are turned on by) gestures of love and romance.

It goes the other way, too: we are warm, affectionate and loyal with those we love and cherish (as long as they show us that they deserve our love). Grand gestures of love and exciting, tantalizing interactions work best. Lavish everyone with compliments (including yourself).

We also want to have fun and express our love for life… and what better way is there to do that than to throw a huge party for everyone we love? And if a “huge party” doesn’t appeal, don’t opt for the couch and the TV: get out there. It’s a good time to take a chance!

“Taking a chance” applies to the financial realm too — especially any ventures related to entertainment, children, sports or the stock market.

Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra? If so, you will feel more outgoing and confident for the period Venus moves through Leo. Your heart will want to connect and be admired. Creative endeavors will feel satisfying to you. If you are a Leo Sun-sign or Rising-sign, you are going to have more love and beauty in your life for as long as Venus is in your sign.

Thursday (June 14th): the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini and VoC until 3:20am EDT (see Tuesday very early morning, and Thursday afternoon for details).

Also on Thursday at 3:20am EDT, the Moon enters protective, nurturing Cancer, where it will journey until Saturday very early morning. With this Moon placement, we are more sensitive to what people say and therefore our feelings are more easily hurt — so be kind to yourself and others. Self-Care is key for the next two days 😉

Emotional safety is important to us as well; we like connecting to the familiar and we enjoy nurturing ourselves and others — home and family call to us, for instance. Make sure though, that your own glass is full before letting others drink from it; if you don’t, you might start to feel drained and resentful.

Thursday after 3:20am EDT, it’s now time to start setting your Intentions for this Moon cycle. If possible, align them with the Super New Moon energies that I spoke about in my last video — feel free to watch it again if you are not sure anymore — click here to watch my video on the New Moon  😉 For more details on how to set New Moon Intentions, click here

Come Thursday early morning, we may need to make some adjustments: As best you can, honor both your need to take care of emotional or family issues, and your need to better understand yourself and your goals. You may also feel a pull between introvert and extrovert, or simply between fast and slow.

Tune in for a moment — do you need to take a break, or at least slow down a little? As best as you can, be compassionate and kind with yourself — and remember, there is nothing “wrong” here.

Thursday morning: we are invited to connect with others (and with ourselves) on an emotional level. Could you permit yourself to be vulnerable and communicate your needs? What if it was safe to let others know what you feel?

Thursday early afternoon, we may experience authoritarian or rigid attitudes, both toward and from others. This could create some tension or oppositional behaviors — so, as best you can, remain flexible and practice self-care, doing your best to take care of your emotional and physical body — that way, you’ll remain able to stay grounded in reality.

Thursday afternoon requires some inner adjustments. We feel uneasy or awkward and need to make a choice, one that demands we develop inner awareness around two very different urges: on the one hand, the desire do things with like-minded people that share our vision — and on the other hand, the need to nurture ourselves and stay in touch with our feeling body.

Thursday late evening, a challenging Venus/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 11:33pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Tuesday on, it will remain strong until Sunday morning. This “stretch aspect” asks us to grow beyond what we have previously known and experienced in the past in regards to our relationships, especially romantic relations, or relationships with children (the latter can include our “inner child”).

Priorities may shift, bringing uneasiness around others — for example, we may experience differences of taste or values within our romantic relationships, or with our children, if we currently have these things in our lives.

We may also struggle with freedom versus material safety — the latter could be manifesting as fears around financial goals — and in fact, it’s best to look long and hard before you leap into any financial decisions during this aspect.

In general, expect the unexpected: Things may take a different turn when it comes to the truly important. Keep your mind and heart open: if something demands elimination or change, it was waiting for that shift to happen anyway. As best as you can, find creative solutions and stay flexible and adaptable. This is not the best time to take things too personally (is there ever a good time for that? 🙂

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 28-29 degrees of Cancer, Aries, Capricorn, Libra, or 0-5 degrees of Leo, Taurus, Aquarius or Scorpio? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Aquarius (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Uranus rules Aquarius).

Friday (June 15th): the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer all day (see Thursday very early morning for details).

Friday morning until 12:18pm EDT, If you haven’t gotten around to it yet, set your Intentions for this Moon cycle… If possible, align them with the New Moon energies that I spoke about in my last video — feel free to watch it again if you are not sure anymore — click here to watch my video on the New Moon

For more details on how to set New Moon Intentions, click here

Friday at 12:18pm EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for 15 hours, until 3:21am EDT (Saturday very early morning- June 16th). Use this intuitive time to find a balance between nurturing yourself and focusing on building something long-term. Emotional issues from the past may come up at this time with a loved one or a significant other.

This could drive some tension or oppositional behaviors; as best as you can, remain flexible and practice self-care. Connect to the power of love, rather than the power of fear — especially fear connected to any attachments or aversions. If possible, empower yourself and others — and find a balance between your inner and outer world.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Friday early afternoon until Saturday very early morning ahead of time.

Friday late afternoon, a harmonious Venus/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 4:24pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Tuesday evening on, it will remain strong until Monday morning. This brings the ability for compassion and understanding towards others. We are able also to heal some personal wounds from the past.

We are more willing to express ourselves, as we trust that the other person has our best interest at heart. We also more easily allow for our own humanity and limitations as we relate to others and are more forgiving towards them and ourselves. How does this show up for you?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following placements: 29 degrees of Cancer, Pisces, Scorpio, or 0-5 degrees of Leo, Aries, or Sagittarius? If so, you are more blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra).

Friday late evening, a Mercury/Saturn opposition becomes exact at 9:47pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Thursday morning on, it will remain strong until Sunday morning. This aspect might bring some misunderstandings or feelings of restriction. We may have a pessimistic attitude towards our lives and find ourselves in conflict with others on intellectual levels. In other words, we might experience communication problems.

It can appear that others are not especially sympathetic to our point of view. However, it is important that we examine how we are communicating with others and take responsibility for how our choice of words lands for others. As best as you can, find your inner balance so you can speak from a kind, nurturing, and truthful place — while remaining committed to your long-term goals.

We are also called to examine our inner dialog for familiar, rigid or negative thought patterns that have been holding us back. We are ridding ourselves of projects that no longer serve us, learning to cut out the fluff so we can focus on the important. It’s better right now to reassess and perfect our commitments, rather than present them — first, let’s check to see if they align with what feels nurturing.

Fact is, we are most likely harder on ourselves regarding our long-term commitments at this time. We also tend to worry about what others think of us. Getting objective feedback from others is key! Though we crave it, we may have a harder time wholeheartedly receiving support from others — as best as you can, acknowledge others (and yourself) for doing their best, whether via writing or saying it out loud 😉

Think back to mid-January 2018, when Mercury was conjunct Saturn in Capricorn. What thoughts got planted back then? Where have you been learning about (or even building) something long-term? What commitments did you make at that time?

As you develop more awareness of what you have (and haven’t) learned since then, ask these follow-up questions: Do I like what I see? Is there more room for integration? What if I were 5% more self-responsible with my thinking and conditoning? What if, just for today, I brought 5% more emotional maturity to my commitments? What if I did the same with my “inner dialogue”?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 3-10 degrees of Cancer, Capricorn, Aries or Libra? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Capricorn (the Sun rules Leo; Saturn rules Capricorn)

Saturday (June 16th): the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer and VoC until 3:21am EDT (see Thursday very early morning, and Friday early afternoon for details).

Saturday at 3:21am EDT, the Moon enters fun- and attention-loving Leo, where it will journey until next Monday early morning (June 18th). We may lack objectivity and struggle with backing down or compromising. We all love to be admired — or at the very least acknowledged — for our greatness 🙂 So hand out some compliments — let people know how proud you are of them, tell them how much you love them. Come from the heart in this and all other things… be honest and authentic, as best you can.

Fun, games, and romance are a big part of this energy as well. You might also enjoy spending time with little ones. If there are no “outer children” around, how about getting in touch with your “inner child” — it’s definitely easier for the next two days. What are you most grateful for today? What would be heaps and heaps of fun? What would be so much fun, you let out a tiny squeak, just thinking of it?

Saturday late evening, a somewhat challenging Mercury/Mars aspect becomes exact at 9:03pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Saturday early morning on, it will remain strong until Sunday (June 17th). This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward — and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed if we’re to see what needs adjusting.

We may have big ideas under this influence — and what’s more, we want progress, and we want it now. Avoid jumping in too fast or being too idealistic — check the details and read the small print — because what we do, think and say are not necessarily in harmony. What’s more, instead of listening to what we truly need, we tend to intellectualize and detach. As you may have guessed by now, this is probably not a good day to make important decisions 😉

Awareness is key with this aspect: What demands to be done? How? How fast? What if you could process new information slowly, allow your intuition to guide you, and only then move towards your vision?

Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 7-10 degrees of Cancer or Aquarius? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Aries (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Mars of Aries).

Sunday (June 17): the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo all day (see Saturday very early morning for details).

Sunday at 11:26pm EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for a little over 5 hours, until 4:41am EDT (Monday early morning- June 18th). This intuitive time is an opportunity to connect with our children (or our inner child) and share our creative process with others in a playful way.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Sunday late evening until Monday early morning ahead of time.

Also on Sunday before 11:26pm EDT and tomorrow, Monday after 4:41am EDT,  it’s time to take actions on our New Moon intentions: if you set Intentions Thursday, or Friday — after the New Moon became exact — today and tomorrow (Monday) will be the best time to start taking relevant actions. If you wrote your intentions down, go back and take another look at what came through intuitively. If you didn’t write anything down, get quiet for a moment and check in with yourself: What actions are calling to me?

A heads-up for next Monday (June 18th): the Moon remains in Leo and VoC until 4:41am EDT. At 4:41am EDT, the Moon will enter detail-oriented, practical Virgo, where it will journey until Wednesday morning. Also on Monday at 7:26pm EDT, Neptune will start its 5-month Retrograde phase in 16.5 degrees of creative, sensitive Pisces. This phase will last until Nov. 24th (13.5 degrees of Pisces). More about the details in next week forecast.
