Reorganized in a More Sustainable Way
This week’s headline items: the second Saturn/Uranus Square of the year becomes exact on Monday early evening; Mercury starts to station again (i.e. it slows down) on Wednesday; the first Quarter Moon in Virgo becomes exact on Thursday late evening; Jupiter’s Station intensifies on Friday and Neptune’s Station does likewise on Saturday!
On Sunday late morning, Jupiter comes to a halt in Pisces (starting its 4-months Retrograde phase); in the late evening, the Sun changes signs from Gemini to Cancer (this also marks the Summer Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere).
There will be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday early afternoon (for a little over 9.5 hours), Thursday late evening (for 5 hours), and Sunday morning (for a little over an hour).
Now, this week’s Forecast…
Monday, June 14th:
Monday, the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo all day. It will journey there until Tuesday late evening. We may lack objectivity and struggle with backing down or compromising. We all love to be admired — or at the very least acknowledged — for our greatness 🙂
So hand out some compliments — let people know how proud you are of them, tell them how much you love them. Come from the heart in this and all other things… be honest and authentic, as best you can. Fun, games and romance are a big part of this energy as well. You might also enjoy spending time with little ones.
If there are no “outer children” around, how about getting in touch with your “inner child” — it’s definitely easier for the next two-and-a-half days. What are you most grateful for today? What would be heaps and heaps of fun? What would be so much fun, you let out a tiny squeak, just thinking of it?
Monday early evening, the second Saturn/Uranus Square of the year becomes exact, at 6:01pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from January 18th on, it will remain strong until July 18th (due to Saturn’s Retrograde phase that began in May).
The first Square between these two planets was exact on Feb.17th. Think back to that time and ask yourself: What did I learn since January about myself, others, or society as a whole, in connection with spaciousness? How about when it comes to Freedom? Differences? Allowing myself to feel uncomfortable?
This aspect asks us to stretch a little or a lot (individually and collectively). We can’t expect much of anything during this time… expect the unexpected!
Future visions and humanitarian causes — especially those connected to like-minded people — are quite likely to experience disruption, calling for flexibility and creative solutions.
During this transit, we feel a great need to make progress, as we feel quite restless — maybe even anxious — but if we’re unclear on what is in our best interest, we might focus on things that don’t serve us in the long run.
This aspect tells us that if we redefine our need to fit in and belong, we can find a more authentic connection with our own values; we are also invited to stay detached in our social dealing with others — honoring our own individuality without making anyone else wrong for being different or “themselves”.
Ask yourself: Are other people’s choices and preferences really about me (in other words, do I need to take them personally)? Could I give the “choosing” of other people the space that it needs, so I can honor what’s important to me, without taking things personally?
What might become possible if I expressed myself fully, knowing that others may have a different opinion to me, and that’s ok? How might that impact my current communities (whether physical or online)?
Saturn in Aquarius wants us to focus on realistic progress with our technologies, inventions, and long-term visions for the collective. While in Taurus, Uranus, on the other hand, prods us to get back to the basics — to what really matters, what is sustainable (for the whole planet), and what is best for all living beings.
Given this, ask yourself: What does my body require before I can think about connecting with others? Where am I feeling a need for more spaciousness? What does my physical reality require before I can think about what to create for the future? Where do I need to “think out of the box”?
Could I give myself permission to hold some space for things to reorganize themselves physically? How about mentally? Could I allow for this to happen slowly? Without needing to rush into anything? Without pushing others or myself?
Keep in mind that things sometimes need to break down in order for them to be reorganized in a more sustainable way. Individually, this can be related to the area of life in your birth chart that Saturn and Uranus are currently transiting through; collectively, it can show up in sudden shifts and changes in our social or financial structures (or in physical shifts in the Earth’s structure).
If you had to sum this year up with one word, “unexpected” would be a great one to pick — and as best as you can, embrace rather than fear this — see it as opening possibilities for tremendous progress, long-term changes in social interactions, and more beneficial relationships to the planet, and to our physical and material world.
Remember, this only feels uncomfortable because it’s new, different, unfamiliar. Could you allow yourself to be 5% more comfortable with being uncomfortable?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 10-16 degrees of Aquarius, Taurus, Leo, or Scorpio? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aquarius or Capricorn (the Saturn rules Capricorn; Uranus rules Aquarius).
Monday evening, a somewhat challenging Mars/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 8:39pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last week Friday (June 11th) on, it will remain strong until this week Thursday evening. We feel uneasy about something, sort of awkward — and we need to make adjustments — first though, we must develop an inner awareness of what exactly needs adjusting.
We come to realize that we might have become overly enthusiastic and optimistic about life; what’s more, our drive for inner spiritual expansion — in other words, for connecting from an intuitive place and for going within to experience spiritual growth — is actually leaving us feeling drained, and frustrated. At the same time, we harbor a strong desire to connect with our inner child, and have some fun creating and playing.
It will help us manage both these energies if we look more closely at how we use our own energy: simply put, are we in tune with our heart? Our physical and intuitive bodies? Could I be outgoing and still find time for spiritual growth?
It’s also worthwhile to examine how our personal belief systems impact our connection to our “Higher Self”. Can we stay open to new spiritual perspectives and what they offer us? And perhaps toward our desire for more expansion of the heart-energies internally and externally?
Ignoring conflict will not serve us now, nor will being overly naive or sensitive; as best as you can, slow down and stay tuned in to your heart, and your physical and intuitive body.
Ask yourself: Where might I be bringing an attitude that doesn’t in fact serve my joyful connections with others? A good place to “aim” this question is toward one’s “Higher Self” or intuitive “knowing”.
Here’s another question you may find helpful: If I were to check my energy body in the present moment, how do my assumptions or “stories” impact my relationship to joy and the experience of gratitude?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 1-3 degrees of Leo or Pisces? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Sagittarius (Mars is the ruler of Aries; Jupiter rules Sagittarius)
Tuesday, June 15th:
Tuesday, Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo until 11:02pm EDT (see Monday morning for details).
Tuesday at 1:27pm EDT, we enter a Moon VoC that will last for a little over 9.5 hours, until 11:02pm EDT. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to connect with others and do things that stimulate you mentally and bring you joy.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Tuesday early afternoon until the late evening ahead of time.
Tuesday at 11:02pm EDT, the Moon moves into detail-oriented, practical Virgo, where it will journey until Friday early morning; turning our focus toward the practical and wholesome. We are generous with our time/services and we love to help others. We also have a fondness for science and anything that makes sense in our world — things and knowledge we can apply and use.
Health might also come into focus at this time. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.) align with our long-term goals. This Moon placement also starts the build up towards the first Quarter Moon (exact Thursday late evening).
Wednesday, June 16th:
Wednesday, the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day (see Tuesday late evening for details).
Wednesday, Mercury starts to slow down again (“stationing”). It’s getting ready to come to a halt, ending its 3-week Retrograde phase, on Tuesday (June 22nd) — more on that next week… For the next 13 days (until June 28th), we need to be patient with ourselves and others — especially if there is a connection with communication or transportation, and their associated technologies. As best as you can, give yourself and others a lot of space!
This is not the best time to start anything brand-new, especially if it contains new information that needs to be processed.
We might experience delays or misunderstandings, and things tend to feel “off” or stagnant. It might be a good idea to give yourself some extra time to get ready for travel somewhere — especially if you intend to use public transportation or drive (for more details on Mercury Shadow Phases and Retrogrades, click here)
Some of us will feel the effects of the Mercury station more than others: those of us who have Gemini or Virgo as our Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant); and those of us with personal planets in 14-18 degrees of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, or Pisces.
Wednesday very early morning: if we are awake, we may need to find a balance between head and heart, facts and faith, reason and intuition. It’s a great time to inspire others and be of service. We are also invited to balance our need for mental details and practical applications against our desire to grow spiritually and expand our heart-energies. We may want to connect to our pets or engage in spiritual conversations that support our physical well-being. (Moon in Virgo opposes Jupiter in Pisces, exact at 3:00am EDT)
Wednesday late evening, calls for some inner adjustments. We feel uneasy or awkward and need to make a choice. Making this choice demands we develop inner awareness around two very different urges: on the one hand, the desire to heal our relationship with the inner masculine (assertiveness/anger, leadership, taking actions) — and on the other, the need to tend to our daily work or health routines. (Moon in Virgo quincunxes Chiron in Aries, exact at 9:58pm EDT)
Also on, Wednesday late evening, we may experience some internal discomfort and need to make some more inner adjustments. We feel nudged toward taking responsibility, and making a commitment to society, or to any humanitarian cause that will create a sustainable future for all. However, we also feel a need to improve our daily health and work routines. Where could we use more clarity? Where do we need to take a closer look in our lives? (Moon in Virgo quincunxes Saturn in Aquarius, exact at 10:47pm EDT)
Last but not least, on Wednesday late evening, we are invited to connect with like-minded people and learn something new about our unique talents or value in the world. We are able to better connect to anything that requires attention to detail. We might also perhaps implement revolutionary health routines or other systems in our day to day life that support our values and make life more enjoyable. (Moon in Virgo trines Uranus in Taurus, exact at 11:07pm EDT)
Thursday, June 17th:
Thursday, the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day (see Tuesday late evening for details).
Thursday very early morning, a somewhat challenging Sun/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 1:24am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Wednesday very early morning on; and it will remain strong until Friday very early morning. We feel uneasy about something, sort of awkward; we need to make a choice. We need to develop inner awareness, so we can make adjustments.
This might concern compromising with others. Our fear of being manipulated might make us stubborn, or it might make us manipulative ourselves. As best as you can, keep choosing the “better” alternative/the higher road, adjusting as needed.
We might be forced to focus, time and again, on details we would prefer to ignore. When life slows down, or becomes uncomfortable, simplify and be patient. We are changing and growing in ways that we can’t comprehend right now. Stay as open and observant as you can.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 25-27 degrees of Gemini or Capricorn? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Scorpio (the Sun rules Leo, Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio).
Thursday late evening, at 11:54pm EDT, the first Quarter Moon in 27 degrees of Virgo becomes exact. We started to feel this aspect build from the moment the Moon entered Virgo Tuesday late evening. The Moon in detail-oriented, helpful and practical Virgo makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in chatty, fast-thinking and busy Gemini.
Last week (June 10th) saw a powerful New Moon/Solar Eclipse in Gemini. If we set some intentions on June 12th or 13th, we are now ready to make some adjustments. This is a time to stretch and grow — and create some forward momentum — in fact, we may feel compelled to act, stirring up anxiety or overwhelm, so just go one breath at a time.
Remember, we’re still in Eclipse Season until June 24th, and thus don’t have all the information we need to move brand-new projects forward yet. Allow for changes, remain flexible and adaptable, and find creative solutions in day-to-day interactions with others. Allow also for new downloads and for the release of “old” codes and conditioning. Simply put: an open mind and heart will serve us best (that’s true in general, but especially true until Eclipse season ends 😉
Another thing to remember: if something is beginning or ending in a way that seems organic… allow it to be. As best as you can, observe your feelings and stay grounded in the “here and now”. Connect to your intuition and inner wisdom; they will help carry you through this period. We are receiving a consciousness upgrade — that’s a good thing!
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 25-29 degrees of Virgo, Gemini, Pisces, or Sagittarius? If so, you will feel the effects of this first Quarter Moon more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
Also Thursday at 11:54pm EDT, we enter a Moon VoC that will last for 5 hours, until 4:54am EDT (Friday early morning). Use this intuitive time to stretch and grow — to undertake a process of adjusting your thoughts. You may feel a little scatter-brained or all over the map. As best as you can, stay flexible, don’t rush into anything — and don’t be too hard on yourself.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Thursday late evening until Friday early morning ahead of time.
Friday, June 18th:
Friday, the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo and VoC until 4:54am EDT; at that time, the Moon moves into harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra, where it will journey until Sunday late evening. The energy of the Libra Moon helps us be naturally courteous and diplomatic; we are more polite at this time, as we seek the approval of others.
We very much want to maintain equal, fair relationships at this time, and are therefore open to making compromises and negotiating. These next two days are a great time for mediation — but our need for peace and accompanying aversion to direct conflict could pull us to “yes” more easily than we might like.
We may also be able to see both sides of the equation so well that we can’t make decisions. As best as you can, find an inner balance with this and communicate what needs to be said with grace and charm — even if it’s “No” 😉 One last quick note: this is also a great time for anything to do with visual arts.
Also on, Friday, Jupiter’s Station intensifies at 2 degrees of Pisces, as it is preparing to come to a halt on Sunday (starting its 4-month Retrograde phase). This intensified station will last until June 22nd. We will feel its energy even more forcefully during this time.
When a planet stations, we start to be more fully aware of its energy; this awareness helps us to get more connected to those energies as they exist within us. We get to see where we need to embrace them more fully, so that we can use them in a healthy way, without getting lost in the lower vibrations of their expression.
Until June 22nd, we have to face what this planet is trying to communicate to us: Jupiter represents our desire to seek insight via the gaining of knowledge. Some of this planet’s keywords: morality, gratitude, hope, honor, law.
Jupiter is also the planet of possibility, optimism, and growth (including mental and spiritual growth). It is also associated with a sense of humor, goodwill, and mercy.
The lower expressions of Jupiter include “Oh, the heck with it”, “I deserve this and more”, “the rules do not apply to me” — generally speaking: too much of a good thing, blind optimism, excess, stretching the truth, overindulgence.
Those of us who have any of our personal planets (or our Ascendant) in 0-4 degrees of Pisces, Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius will be more affected by this station. This is also true for those of us with their Ascendant or Sun-sign in Sagittarius (Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius, so those folks will always be affected more strongly by Jupiter’s movements and aspects)
Saturday, June 19th:
Saturday, the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra all day (see Friday very early morning for details).
Saturday, Neptune’s Station intensifies — and will appear to move more slowly through the sky until June 30th. It is getting ready to come to a halt and start it’s 5-month retrograde phase on June 25th (more on that next week…)
A planet’s energies are more exalted during its “Station period”; this has even more weight for an outer planet, as they move more slowly and their stations last much longer. This Neptune station is particularly strong, since it occurs in Pisces, its own sign.
Neptune represents things like universal love, our inner divinity, spirituality, inspiration, compassion, faith — plus creative and imaginative realms such as music or film — while the shadow side is confusion, illusion and escapism of all kinds. We start to be aware of all those energies more fully in our lives.
This awareness helps us to connect more fully to those energies as they exist within us. We can then see where we need to either embrace them more fully, or connect to them in a healthy way, that doesn’t involve getting lost in the murky lower vibrations of their expression.
We will also cover Neptune’s Station and Retrograde phase in more detail — and in relationship to our own birth charts — in my next Forecasting Forum, live on June 25th, at 2pm EDT/7pm London-time. Early Bird Special available until June 22nd at midnight EDT!!!

Some of us will feel the effects of this station more than others: those of us with a Pisces Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant) — and those of us with personal planets and points in 21-25 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini or Sagittarius.
Saturday very early morning: if we are awake at this time, we sense harmonious connections even though we are focused on making progress. Where our visions for the future are concerned, we are invited to bring a new level of authenticity, and make realistic choices around connecting with others. (Moon in Libra trines Saturn in Aquarius, exact at 3:15am EDT)
Saturday early morning, calls for some inner adjustments, as we feel uneasy or awkward, and need to make a choice. Making this choice demands we develop inner awareness around two very different urges: on the one hand, we want to innovate in the area of our values (and maybe also have some financial breakthroughs); on the other hand, we feel the need to attend to our one-on-one relationships, supporting them (and perhaps collaborating). (Moon in Libra quincunxes Uranus in Taurus, exact at 3:53am EDT)
Saturday late morning, we feel social and seek mentally stimulating connections with others. Allow for win-win scenarios and equal exchanges. (Moon in Libra trines Mercury in Gemini, exact at 9:22am EDT)
Saturday late afternoon: we feel a need to stay within our safety zone while also connecting and collaborating — stretch a little, and see if you can find creative ways to connect whilst honoring your need for safety and familiarity. As best as you can, listen to your feeling-body and be kind with yourself and others, if your needs do not align perfectly with others. (Moon in Libra squares Venus in Cancer, exact at 5:07pm EDT)
Saturday evening, we are invited to make some internal adjustments. We may want to connect with others, but may also need to tune in to our intuitive inner voice. What do you hear when you get really quiet? (Moon in Libra quincunxes Neptune in Pisces, exact at 8:36pm EDT)
Sunday, June 20th:
Sunday, the Moon remains in Libra until 7:58amEDT (see Friday very early morning for details).
Sunday at 6:52am EDT, we enter a brief Moon VoC that will last for a little over an hour until 7:58am EDT. Use this intuitive time to be social and seek connection on a mental level. As best as you can, have stimulating conversations — and allow for collaboration.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Sunday morning ahead of time.
Sunday at 7:58am EDT, the Moon moves into passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, where it will journey until next week Tuesday morning (June 22nd). We feel things deeply and have “X-Ray Vision” and “Bullshit-Smelling Abilities” 😉
Emotional authenticity is extremely important to us at this time; anything less than 100% emotional honesty could be perceived as flat-out dishonest. Once we feel safe trusting someone, we want to merge with them, preferably forever… as long as our trust is never betrayed.
The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power. This occurs by a process of subtraction — it urges us to let go of whatever disempowers us. It’s therefore an excellent time to look at “old” fears, limiting habits or emotional attachments, especially those stemming from past traumas.
Moon in Scorpio tends to run right over ambiguity — it’s “in or out”, “with us or against us”, “love me or leave me”. It can therefore be stormy — a cold winter storm, or a torrid tropical storm of passion, depending on how we “work” the energies 🙂
Manipulation and paranoia are the lower vibrations of this aspect, so as best you can, be straightforward — act in good faith and assume it in others. Best of all, be truly present to the fluctuations of your feelings — no matter if they’re “polite” or “timely”. Feelings aren’t facts, but they are information — and heeding them will help you embrace all of who you are.
Know thyself — and love thyself — you shall be set free. Remember: Love connects us to the Power within; Fear causes “Force” to show up — and that’s ultimately what disempowers us and others.
Sunday late morning, at 11:06am EDT, Jupiter comes to a halt at 2 degrees of Pisces, starting its yearly 4-month Retrograde phase. Retrograde phases are inner processes — they help us connect to a particular energy internally, and thus express it externally (once Jupiter goes direct again).
Jupiter retrograde brings a chance to tap into our inner wisdom, optimism and sense of possibility, and an inner understanding of how the world works. This Retrograde phase lasts until Oct. 18th (and Jupiter will retrograde to 22º Aquarius).
During this time, we get to choose what we truly believe — which beliefs serve us and which don’t — and we can more easily let go of limiting beliefs and experience new truths. While retrograde in Pisces (until July 28th) — here are some coaching questions:
What is in the way of a connection to my inner divinity? What prevents me from slowing down? Turning inwards? Trusting my inner guidance? What do I believe about my intuitive knowing? Where am I making assumptions that do not serve me? What do I observe about my expectations? Are they naive or unrealistic in any way?
Once Jupiter retrogrades back onto Aquarius (July 28th until Oct. 18th), ask yourself: What does individual and collective freedom look like for me? What road might lead to greater freedom? What might open up if I became more open-minded? What if I took a 5% more positive attitude towards humanity and its individuals?
The connection to inner wisdom is definitely heightened during the retrograde phase, so ask yourself: What do I “just know”? If the answer is “I don’t know”, ask yourself: “What if I did know? What might it be in that case?”
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 0-4 degrees of Pisces, Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius or 20-29 degrees of Aquarius,Taurus, Leo or Scorpio? If so, you may be more affected by this Retrograde phase. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Sagittarius (Jupiter rules Sagittarius, so Sagittarius will always be affected more strongly by Jupiter’s movements and aspects).
Also on Sunday, at 11:32pm EDT, the Sun changes signs from busy, versatile Gemini to protective, sensitive Cancer. This marks the Summer Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere: The Solstices are important turning points twice a year, as they are energetic gateways for the summer or winter season to come through.
The Sun will journey through the sign of Cancer until July 22nd. When the Sun is in Cancer, we look for quality and safety in terms of what we want to create, and what we want to surround ourselves with. We experience life on a deeper, more instinctive level now. We have less interest in what is universal, and more interest in what affects us personally (and what affects the people we care for and love).
Our being is colored by our emotions, so it might be more challenging to be objective. Family, home and our inner world becomes our focus for the next 30 days.
All this is especially true if you are a Leo or Cancer Sun-sign or Rising-sign. As a Cancer, you will feel a good dose of confidence and playfulness in the next four weeks; as a Leo your energy will move more inwards, focusing on family or your home.
And…
A heads up for next Monday (June 21st): the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio all day (see Sunday late evening for details -June 20th). The Moon in Scorpio quincunxes Chiron in Aries, exact at 4:51am EDT; squares Saturn in Aquarius, exact at 5:09am EDT; opposes Uranus in Taurus, exact at 6:02am EDT; quincunxes Mercury in Gemini, exact at 10:35am EDT; trines Neptune in Pisces, exact at 9:57pm EDT; and trines Venus in Cancer, exact at 11:01pm EDT. In the late morning, a harmonious Venus/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 9:57am EDT; we started to feel this aspect build from June 18th on, it will remain strong until June 23rd. More about all the details in next week’s forecast 🙂
