Practice Listening — Forecast for  June 7th – 13th

This week’s headline items: Mercury resumes its normal pace on Monday, ending its station; a powerful New Moon/Solar Eclipse in Gemini becomes exact on Thursday morning; Mars changes signs from Cancer to Leo on Friday late morning. On Saturday, Jupiter and Neptune start their Station phases (i.e., they both slow down) in Pisces.

There will be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday late morning (for a little over 3.5 hours), Thursday early afternoon (for almost 14 hours), and Sunday morning (for a little over 7 hours).

Before we get to this week’s forecast, let me make a quick announcement:

Since we have a Solar Eclipse coming up this Thursday, I wanted to share one more time about my latest webinar: If you would like to learn how to align yourself with the current Eclipses and Jupiter’s first pass through Pisces… feel free to watch the mp4-video presentation about Jupiter in Pisces 2021-22 & Eclipses May-June 2021″ — as it relates to your own Birth Chart…

Star Members: check your email for the link to the mp4-video recording and enjoy watching it! I sent it out on May 28th late evening.

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, June 7th:

Monday, the Moon remains in steady, peaceful  Taurus all day. It will journey there until Tuesday afternoon. We love all physical comforts, prefer consistency, and would rather stick with what we know works well.

In other words: change is not our favorite thing and “rushing things” goes against our grain. What is our favorite thing until tomorrow afternoon? It’s probably slowing down and getting in touch with whatever delights our senses 😉

Monday very early morning, if we are awake at this time, we are asked to connect with people with similar values who can provide practical support for our visions, and to share with them what is important to us. (Moon in Taurus conjuncts Uranus in Taurus, exact at 3:39am EDT)

Monday early morning, again, if we are awake at this time, we need to experience peace and physical pleasure, on the one hand; on the other, we need to take some time to focus on our future visions, and see what’s realistic for us. We may need to make some adjustments between these two needs that are seemingly at odds. (Moon in Taurus squares Saturn in Aquarius, exact at 4:51am EDT)

Monday night, we have an opportunity to meet our need for material comfort with a gentler, more intuitive approach.(Moon in Taurus sextiles Neptune in Pisces, exact at 12:47am EDT (Monday night/Tuesday very early morning).

Also on Monday, Mercury resumes its normal pace through the sky, ending its Station — but moving backward through the sky, as seen from Earth (that’s what “retrograde” refers to).

We have a chance to do some internal work on any thinking and/or communication issues that came up over the last couple of weeks — especially those connected to our siblings, neighbors, immediate environment, inner dialog, or adaptability. How can you stay curious and open-minded about your own thought processes?

Tuesday, June 8th:

Tuesday, the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus until 2:47pm EDT (see Monday morning for details).

Tuesday at 7am EDT: we are entering the most potent time for downloads. 48 hours before and after a Solar Eclipse becomes exact, the energies are quite intense, as we are downloading new templates at the time of an Eclipse — you may also want to watch my Solar Eclipse video for more info.

Tuesday at 11:07am EDT, we enter a Moon VoC that will last for a little over 3.5 hours, until 2:47pm EDT. Use this intuitive time as  an opportunity to engage with others in a nurturing, familiar way — and enjoy a good meal, a glass of wine, and a massage… think “physical pleasures”

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Tuesday late morning until the afternoon ahead of time.

Tuesday at 2:47pm EDT, the Moon moves into chatty, versatile Gemini, where it will journey until Friday very early morning. For the next 2.5 days, we like to learn, connect and interact as much as possible. “Busy” feels good: connecting online, on the phone, or sharing face-to-face, preferably multi-tasking all the way…

The one thing we can do without is boredom: If our mind is not engaged in some way, we might as well curl up and play dead 🙂 This Moon placement also starts the build up toward a powerful New Moon/Solar Eclipse Full Moon (exact Thursday morning).

Wednesday, June 9th:

Wednesday, the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini all day (see Tuesday afternoon for details).

Wednesday is the last day before the Solar Eclipse in Gemini  becomes exact. There is some potent energy coming our way; it would be wise to prepare ourselves to be transformed by it, allowing for our consciousness upgrade to be installed — you may also want to watch my Solar Eclipse video on the subject.

This is a good time to slow things down and go within. For many of us, this will be a stretch, as we want to do just the opposite: jump the gun, get started with something new, act impulsively, etc. This is quite common right before a Solar Eclipse. As best as you can, stay grounded, take a deep breath and exhale any tensions and connect to your inner wisdom.

It comes down to this: just for now and just as best as you can… could you simply allow what is… to be? Could you simply be the “observer” until the upgrade is complete?

Rather than starting something brand-new, put all that energy into completing things. Think back to Dec. 2020 — the time of the last Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius. What did you start around then? How could you complete it, or move it to the next level?

As best as you can, take the days immediately before and after the Eclipse for meditation, contemplation, journaling — anything that supports an objective understanding of your own thoughts.

Of course if, like most of us, you have other obligations: take 5-minute breaks here and there, if you possibly can, get quiet and be with yourself (i.e. your inspirational Self, your higher mind). Ask yourself: What might become possible if I gave this to myself on a regular basis?

Wednesday afternoon, consider connecting with others, socializing, and taking a compassionate approach toward yourself and others, especially when it comes to personal goals and passions. Ask yourself: what if taking a compassionate approach towards myself and others actually made for more fulfilling connections? (Moon in Gemini sextiles Chiron in Aries, exact at 3:56pm EDT)

Wednesday afternoon/early evening, we sense harmonious connections even though we are focused on making progress. Where our vision for the future is concerned, we are invited to bring a new level of authenticity, and make realistic choices around connecting with others. (Moon in Gemini trines Saturn in Aquarius, exact at 5:44pm EDT)

Thursday, June 10th:

Thursday, the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini all day (see Tuesday afternoon for details).

Thursday morning, at 6:53am EDT, the New Moon (and Solar Eclipse) becomes exact in almost 20 degrees of GeminiSolar Eclipses are extra-powerful New Moons that take place approximately every 6 months — this is the first in 2021 — you may also want to watch my Solar Eclipse video.

During a Solar Eclipse, the Moon momentarily interrupts the normal flow of Solar Radiation, destabilizing existing configurations of energy and reorganizing consciousness to a higher level. Solar Eclipses indicate the beginning of a new experience, project, or cycle.

Eclipses usually come in pairs (Solar and Lunar), and “Eclipse seasons” start approximately 10 days before the first Eclipse of the pair, and continue through the second.

This particular Eclipse season began on May 16th, 10 days before the Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius became exact, and will end with the Full Moon on June 24th, 2021 — in other words, two weeks after the Solar Eclipse in Gemini becomes exact.

While Eclipse season is underway, allow for new templates to download; stay centered and do your best to ground from within — try using conscious breathing and conscious flexibility — and best of all, see if you can move to the “observer position” when it comes to the emotional and mental body. And remember, this won’t last forever: on June 24th, the downloads are complete 😉

Eclipses are a time for clarifying and affirming our highest path. We are bound to experience a release and recalibration of some sort — “old” codes will get deleted and new ones downloaded — and this is especially true in connection with our ability to connect and communicate, our inner dialog, our ability to listen, and our gathering and use of information. This helps us to be more aware of how we interact and what we share.

The Sun and Moon are connected to one of the Moon Nodes during an Eclipse, alternating between North and South Node Eclipses, emphasizing the evolutionary upgrades that are available to us during such times. This is the first North Node Solar Eclipse in Gemini since the Moon Nodes moved into the Gemini-Sagittarius polarity in early May of last year (2020).

North Node Eclipses help us move towards a new exploration of an energy that promotes our Soul’s evolution. They ask us to focus on the energies of the sign involved in the Eclipse (Gemini, in this case) and work with the lighter/higher frequencies of those energies as much as possible. They highlight our ability for individual and collective growth and evolution.

Eclipses are crossroads or turning points along our Soul’s Journey. They are often marked by events or situations that signify a critical shift in our lives, nudging us to either change and grow, or face greater difficulties at the next turning point. In this case, the next turning point will be on September 12th, when the Sun in Virgo squares this month’s Solar Eclipse degree.

Solar Eclipses, in particular, often correspond to major endings and beginnings. They occur close to the same degree every 19 years, and the last time we had a North Node Solar Eclipse in that same degree and sign was on June 10th, 2002.

We are likely to experience a resonance between now and that time — “resonance”, not repetition — so think back to the Summer of 2002, and ask yourself: Were there any major endings and beginnings? What was important to me back then? If I were to take those priorities to the next level, where would that next level find me?

If you’re looking for more guidance on those questions, I would suggest taking a look at your Natal Chart — the House placement of the Eclipse will indicate which area of life is most ready to embrace new information and rise to a new level of consciousness.

Solar Eclipses are also a good time to go within and seed anything we would like to learn over the next 6 months — we’ll dig into this in more detail towards the end of this article, when we talk about setting Solar Eclipse Intentions.

One major thing to note in this New Moon/Solar Eclipse chart, is that we now have 3 planets in Retrograde motion — and one of them is the ruler of Gemini: Mercury!

To read the whole article and get all the Coaching Questions for this month’s New Moon/Solar Eclipse, click here.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 15-25 degrees of Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo or Pisces?  If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly; this is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo, the Moon rules Cancer)

Setting Intentions for a Solar Eclipse is a little different from the regular monthly New Moon process — after all, we are setting them for the whole 6-month Eclipse cycle, rather than just the next 28 days.

Solar Eclipse Intentions are best done 48 hours after the Eclipse becomes exact. We are downloading new templates at the time of an Eclipse, and the energies are quite intense, so we want to wait until it all settles down a little before setting our intentions — that said, we definitely do not want to do this during a Moon void of course.

There are thus two best and most potent times to set your Intentions for this Solar Eclipse:

The first lasts a little over 24 hours, between 6:53am, June 12th, and 7:16am, June 13th. The second one runs for 15.5 hours, between 2:22pm, June 13th, and 6:53am Monday, June 14th. Note that all times in this article are given in US Eastern Time — i.e., the New York time zone.

Set powerful intentions — remember, they cover the next six months — and if possible, align them with the Gemini energy!

If you live in a timezone other than EDT, and converting time zones isn’t your thing, I suggest joining my Facebook Fan-page and/or following me on Twitter, as I post reminders on those platforms when it’s time to set your intentions 😉

Thursday afternoon, at 1:38pm EDT, we enter a Moon VoC that will last for almost 14 hours, until 3:23am EDT (Friday very early morning). Use this intuitive time to make some adjustments — and to do a little stretching and growing, when it comes to your inner or emotional experiences. As best as you can, be gentle with yourself and others, seek to understand before seeking to be understood.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Tuesday early afternoon until Friday very early morning ahead of time.

Thursday late evening, a Sun/Mercury alignment in 20.5 degrees of Gemini becomes exact at 9:13pm EDT. We started to feel this from last Tuesday evening on, and it will be strong until this Saturday evening. This aspect indicates a confident mind and an analytical approach to life. Intelligence and communication abilities are strong at this time; however, we may not listen as well as the other speaks — we might be too busy thinking about what to say next.

Ask yourself: might it serve me to practice listening to others and myself? What might a practice like this look like? What if I acted as if I was being 100% heard by others? What if I returned the favor?

Given that this alignment takes place in Gemini, we may feel particularly chatty, fast-thinking, and perhaps even a little scatter-brained — do your best to avoid meaningless conversations. Another thing to mention here: Mercury is also retrograde at the time of this conjunction and we thus may need to be more aware of our inner thinking processes.

Ask yourself: How could I better connect my “inner” thinking with my “outer” exchanges? What thoughts need reorganizing? Who is (or has been) in alignment with my thinking? What might unfold if I chose to reach out to those people?

We want an active role in communications — it’s very hard for us to passively listen and absorb information right now. What we say or write now is impactful, so choose your words wisely: If people hung on your every word, what would you say then? What would you hold back from saying?

Our opinions are strong and our thinking independent — and we’re proud of both — so our egos may get bruised if we don’t feel “heard”. As best as you can, express yourself fully, knowing that others may have a different opinion and that’s ok.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 17-24 degrees of Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo, or Pisces? If so, you will be more affected by this alignment. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo, Gemini or Virgo (the Sun rules Leo; Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo)

Friday, June 11th:

Friday, the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini and VoC until 3:23am EDT; at that time, the Moon moves into protective, nurturing Cancer, where it will journey until Sunday afternoon. With this Moon placement, we are more sensitive to what people say and therefore our feelings are more easily hurt — so be kind to yourself and others. Self-Care is key for the next two and half days 😉

Emotional safety is important to us as well; we like connecting to the familiar and we enjoy nurturing ourselves and others — home and family call to us, for instance. Make sure though, that your glass is filled before letting others drink from it, otherwise you might start to feel drained and resentful.

Friday late morning, at 9:34am EDT, Mars changes signs from protective, emotional, safety-oriented Cancer to fun-loving, risk-taking Leo, where it will journey until July 29th. This is a particularly vital position for Mars.

For these next seven weeks we will feel a strong need to create in some way. Passions tend to run high, as do desire, will, enthusiasm — and our appetite for risk.

Our ego is tied up with our actions — anything we do becomes a source of great pride — and tempts us to “prideful” positioning. If we can move forward on our personal goals, especially those in alignment with our heart, we could become inspirational leaders.

If you have an Aries Sun-sign or Rising-sign, you are going to feel more fun-loving and competitive; it will likely be a more active time in your life. If you are a Leo Sun-sign or Rising sign, you will feel quite energized and passionate for the next 7 weeks. Channeling this energy into physical exercise or a project with your children (or your inner child) might be advisable.

Saturday, June 12th:

Saturday, the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer all day (see Friday very early morning for details).

Saturday after 6:53am EDT, it’s finally time to set our Solar Eclipse Intentions…. since we just had an Eclipse, we get to set some powerful intentions for the entire length of an Eclipse cycle — in other words, for the next 6 months! Between 6:53am today and 7:16am EDT tomorrow (Sunday, June 13th) is the best and most potent time to do so.

Make them powerful: They cover the next six months. If possible, align them with the Gemini energy that I spoke about in my Solar Eclipse video — feel free to watch it again if you are not sure anymore — click here to watch my video.

While writing your intentionsask yourself: Where does the “traditional masculine” differ from the “divine masculine”? What if I talked about my flaws, idiosyncrasies, and insecurities? Might this support my own healing process? Someone else’s? How? What might I discover if I stayed open to being inspired by life, rather than zeroing in on all the “bad” news and denser vibrational thoughts that come through?

For more info on how to best set your Eclipse Intentions, click here to read my article on the subject.

Saturday afternoon, a challenging Venus/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 2:28pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Wednesday night on; it will remain strong until Monday evening (June 14th). This aspect asks us to stretch past injuries and insecurities in our relationships, self-worth and finances. If we can bring compassion and a different point of view to these issues, we will reach a new understanding of ourselves and our life journey.

We have the opportunity to learn from one another; ironically though, social insecurities can be magnified at this time. Whenever Chiron is involved, we are being asked to do some healing work. As best as you can, use this time to learn about your sore spots. Nobody is perfect: we all have our flaws and idiosyncrasies. It’s ok.

If you get triggered by someone, as best as you can, take it as an opportunity to see where this trigger originated — probably in your childhood. Bring love and compassion to yourself as you are, and as you were. Allow any feelings this may stir up in you. A feeling is just energy that wants to be experienced; it wants to move through us and out.

The more we resist our feelings, the more we keep them spinning in place. As best as you can, move from the head to the heart. What might change, if you had 5% more compassion with yourself and others? What if you just decided to have faith in the healing process?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 9-16 degree of Cancer, Aries, Capricorn or Libra? If so, you are more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra).

Also on, Saturday, Jupiter starts to slow down (station) as it reaches 2 degrees of Pisces, preparing for its yearly 4-month Retrograde phase. Jupiter will come to a halt on June 20th; its Station-phase lasts until June 27th, and we will feel its energy more forcefully during this time.

Becoming more fully aware of Jupiter’s energy helps us to get more connected to the corresponding energies within us. We get to see where we need to embrace them more fully, so that we can use them in a healthy way, without getting lost in the lower vibrations of their expression.

Until June 27th, we have to face what this planet is trying to communicate to us: Jupiter represents our desire to seek insight via the gaining of knowledge. Some of this planet’s keywords: morality, gratitude, hope, honor, law. Jupiter is the planet of possibility, optimism, and growth (including mental and spiritual growth). Jupiter is also associated with a sense of humor, goodwill, and mercy.

The lower expressions of Jupiter include “Oh, the heck with it”, “I deserve this and more”, “the rules do not apply to me” — generally speaking: too much of a good thing, blind optimism, excess, stretching the truth, overindulgence.

Those of us who have any of our personal planets (or our Ascendent) in 0-4 degrees of Pisces, Gemini, Virgo, or Sagittarius will be more affected by this station. This is also true for those of us with their Ascendent or Sun-sign in Sagittarius (Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius, so those folks will always be affected more strongly by Jupiter’s movements and aspects).

Last but not least, also on Saturday, Neptune starts to slow down as well (station) — and will appear to move more slowly through the sky until July 7th. It is getting ready to come to a halt and start it’s 5-month Retrograde phase on June 25th.

A planet’s energies are more exalted during it’s “Station Period”; this has even more weight for an outer planet, as they move more slowly and their stations last much longer. This Neptune station is particularly strong, since it occurs in Pisces, its own sign.

Neptune represents things like universal love, our inner divinity, spirituality, inspiration, compassion, faith — plus creative and imaginative realms such as music or film — while the shadow side is confusion, illusion and escapism of all kinds. We start to be aware of all those energies more fully in our lives.

This awareness helps us to connect more fully to those energies as they exist within us. We can then see where we need to either embrace them more fully, or connect to them in a healthy way, that doesn’t involve getting lost in the murky lower vibrations of their expression.

Some of us will feel the effects of this station more than others: those of us with a Pisces Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant) — and those of us with personal planets and points in 20-26 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini or Sagittarius.

Sunday, June 13th:

Sunday, the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer until 2:22pm EDT (see Friday very early morning for details).

Sunday very early morning, an opportune Venus/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 1:38am EDT.  We started to feel this aspect from this Friday morning on; it will remain strong until Monday afternoon (June 14th). This gives us the opportunity to experiment with how we relate to others — to do something different or unusual — freedom plays a big part in this aspect.

Of course, others are experimenting too, so you might experience some unusual or unexpected interactions during this time — it’s a favorable time for social meetings and events. As best as you can, stay open and flexible: fresh air is blowing through your relationships.

We’re also ready to experiment with our financial undertakings — good places to look: all things “tech” (electronics, technology, internet); metaphysics; the arts; group activities. This is not the best time to make long-term financial investments, not suggested in an intuitive flash 😉

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 11-15 degrees of Cancer, Taurus, Pisces, or Virgo? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Aquarius (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra, Uranus rules Aquarius).

Sunday early morning, a somewhat challenging Venus/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 4:15am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from this Saturday early morning on; it will be strong until Monday early morning (June 14th). This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, sort of awkward, and need to make a choice; we must develop inner awareness to see what needs adjusting.

It can be hard to see what we are actually responsible for in relationships, so we sometimes take on unnecessary responsibilities, to ensure the relationships continue. We may ask ourselves: “Do people like me for myself, or for what I do for them?” If you’re confused on this point (or any point), as best as you can, keep choosing the “better” alternative and make adjustments as necessary.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 12-14 degrees of Cancer or Aquarius? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Capricorn (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn)

Sunday at 7:16am EDT, we enter a Moon VoC that will last for a little over 7 hours, until 2:22pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to remain flexible and practice self-care — take good care of your emotional and physical body — that way, you’ll remain able to empower yourself and others.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Sunday morning until the afternoon ahead of time.

Sunday at 2:22pm EDT, the Moon moves into fun and attention-loving Leo, where it will journey until next week Tuesday late evening (June 15th). We may lack objectivity and struggle with backing down or compromising. We all love to be admired — or at the very least acknowledged — for our greatness 🙂

So hand out some compliments — let people know how proud you are of them, tell them how much you love them. Come from the heart in this and all other things… be honest and authentic, as best you can. Fun, games and romance are a big part of this energy as well. You might also enjoy spending time with little ones.

If there are no “outer children” around, how about getting in touch with your “inner child” — it’s definitely easier for the next two-and-a-half days. What are you most grateful for today? What would be heaps and heaps of fun? What would be so much fun, you let out a tiny squeak, just thinking of it?

Sunday after 2:22pm EDT, it’s still time to set our Solar Eclipse Intentions…. Moon VoC is now over! Since we just had an Eclipse, we get to set some powerful intentions for the entire length of an Eclipse cycle — in other words, for the next 6 months! Between 2:22pm today and 6:53am EDT tomorrow (Monday, June 14th) is the best and most potent time to do so.

Sunday evening, a challenging Sun/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 7:40pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from this Thursday evening on, it will remain strong until next week, Wednesday evening (June 16th). This aspect asks us to stretch and grow: On the one hand we want to use our mind to feel confident and centered, on the other hand, we are compelled to listen to our intuition and let our imagination go wild.

As you can probably guess, we’ll experience more “flow” in areas that favor intuition and imagination, such as creativity or spirituality. If possible, hold off on plans for more “practical” things.

We might feel confused; but we are being asked to have faith in the infinite support we receive every day from the universe — whether our mind understands it or not (what we understand with the mind is very different from what we comprehend with the heart).

Seeing through the illusion of separation from the divine is perhaps the greatest perspective shift of all. What might be possible if we allowed ourselves to shift from our conditioned mind to feeling into the truth of who we are?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 20-26 degrees of Gemini, Pisces, Sagittarius or Virgo? If so, you are more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Pisces (the Sun rules Leo, Neptune rules Pisces).

And…

A heads up for next Monday (June 14th): the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo all day (see Sunday afternoon for details). In the early evening, the second Saturn/Uranus Square of the year becomes exact; we started to feel this aspect build from January on, it will remain strong until July 18th. In the evening, a somewhat challenging Mars/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 8:39pm EDT; we started to feel this aspect build from June 13th on, it will remain strong until June 15th. More about all the details in next week’s forecast 🙂
