A Turning Point in Our Thinking — Forecast for May 28th – June 3rd 2018
For me, last week was about allowing myself to be guided, without pushing anything, and being present to the miracles that can take place when I “let go and let God” 😉 This definitely felt connected to the Jupiter/Neptune Trine that was exact last Friday.
Before we get to this week’s forecast, I have one quick announcement:
Mars goes retrograde at the end of June and remains so all summer (Mars will be in Aquarius, moving back into Capricorn). What might this mean for us individually, especially when it comes to the healing journey around our masculine energies?

Ok, let’s take a look at this week’s headline items: Mercury squares the Solar Eclipse degree on Monday; the Full Moon in Sagittarius becomes exact and Mercury changes signs from Taurus to Gemini on Tuesday — and a Grand Trine in the Water-element is at its strongest on Friday and Saturday.
There will be four Moon VoC phases this week: Monday early afternoon (for 5 hours), Wednesday very early morning (for 27 hours), Friday late evening (for 18.5 hours) and Sunday night/Monday very early morning (for a little over 29.5 hours).
Monday (May 28th): the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio until 6:29pm EDT. We feel things deeply and have “X-Ray Vision” and “Bullshit-Smelling Abilities” 😉
Emotional authenticity is extremely important to us at this time; anything less than 100% emotional honesty could be perceived as flat-out dishonest. Once we feel safe trusting someone, we want to merge with them, preferably forever… as long as our trust is never betrayed.
The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power. This occurs by a process of subtraction — it urges us to let go of whatever disempowers us. It’s thus an excellent time to look at “old” fears, limiting habits or emotional attachments, especially those stemming from past traumas.
Moon in Scorpio tends to run right over ambiguity — it’s “in or out”, “with us or against us”, “love me or leave me”. It can thus be stormy — a cold winter storm, or a torrid tropical storm of passion, depending on how we “work” the energies 🙂
Manipulation and paranoia are the lower vibrations of this aspect, so do your very best to be straightforward — act in good faith and assume it in others. Best of all, be truly present to the fluctuations of your feelings — no matter if they’re “polite” or “timely”. Feelings aren’t facts, but they are information — and heeding them will help you embrace all of who you are.
Know thyself — and love thyself — you shall be set free. Remember: Love connects us to the Power within; Fear causes “Force” to show up — and that’s ultimately what disempowers us and others.
Monday around 10:43am EDT: when it reaches 27 degrees of Taurus, Mercury will square the degree of Feb. 15th’s Solar Eclipse; this could signify a turning point in how we…

…think about any long-term visions involving like-minded people.
Ask yourself: What information am I getting that would bring about a shift for me if I really took it in? What conversation with myself would bring about a shift? What conversations with others might do the same?
Monday at 1:25pm EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for 5 hours, until 6:29pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to find a balance between what you know you value on a physical level, and what intimate connections contribute to your own experience of wholeness and emotional satisfaction.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday early afternoon until early evening ahead of time.
Monday at 6:29pm EDT, the Moon enters optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, where it will journey until Thursday morning. We’re strongly motivated to explore and learn. We’re not likely to be big fans of routine — diversity and new adventures work best at this time — we’re also physically restless and need to burn that off with activity and physical exercise.
We tend to feel more open, optimistic and inspired — but we also have a high degree of independence, which means we’d rather inspire others to do things our way, than take orders. Inspiring others could come easier than normal, as we can see the bigger picture, leaving us confident that others will agree with us, once they see what we see.
As best as you can, speak your truth without assuming that everyone is on the same page as you. Improvisation works well for us at this time, as we are spontaneous and love living on the edge — just watch out you aren’t overdoing or overstating things. This Moon placement also starts the build-up towards the Full Moon (exact Tuesday late morning).
Tuesday (May 29th): the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day (see Monday early evening for details).
Tuesday very early morning, a somewhat challenging Sun/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 2:36am EDT. We start to feel this aspect build from Monday on, it will remain strong until Wednesday. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward — and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed in order to see what needs adjusting.
Our focus is drawn to the truth of the matter, but we could be pulled away by doubts and impatience, or by “accepting” responsibilities that aren’t ours (while ignoring the ones that are). We work hard but aren’t always recognized or compensated as we’d like and therefore sometimes run out of steam before our work is complete. Our life works best when we learn to take care of our most important responsibilities first.
As best you can, slow down, but don’t come to a halt: Just because you’re not sure about something, doesn’t mean it’s not worth taking a longer look — in other words, don’t impatiently discard things when you’re unsure what to do about them. Ask yourself: How might I share my thoughts in a self-responsible way? What might I see if I slowed down? What might I notice if I took a longer-term view? How might curiosity and an open mind support my long-term goals?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 7-9 degrees of Gemini or Capricorn? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Capricorn (the Sun rules Leo; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn)
Tuesday at 10:20am EDT, the Full Moon in 8 degrees of Sagittarius becomes exact. We started to feel this from the moment the Moon entered Sagittarius Monday early evening. For the next two weeks, we seek balance, as we become more aware of something that needs to be brought into alignment, or integrated. The balance in question is between our mental processes — symbolized by Gemini — and our quest for a larger truth or meaning (linked to Sagittarius).
It’s important to realize that the Sagittarian urge to “go beyond” is essential for our growth; in terms of balancing these energies, that same urge plays a crucial role in how we interact with others and share information (Gemini).
Pluto and Saturn in Capricorn and Jupiter in Scorpio play a crucial role in this Full Moon chart. All three planets are still retrograde at the time of the Full Moon — and therefore signify an inner process of some sort that is directly connected to the Full Moon energy.
This is an invitation for us to connect to our inner wisdom, our inner sense of empowerment in the world, and our inner authority. More about the specifics in a moment — but one thing to remember in general: any Full Moon is a time of awareness and culmination. We see things that we have not been aware of before and we get a chance to make some changes, if we don’t like what we see.

At its highest vibration, Sagittarius shows us a wider perspective, one that has us look beyond facts and learned knowledge to our direct life experiences and the wisdom gained thereby. It’s all about seeking a higher truth, and a higher meaning for life’s challenges — a philosophy that would help us understand life’s trials and tribulations.
So what is Sagittarius’s shadow side? When we suppress this energy inside of us, we get unquestioningly attached to our belief systems and the stories we tell ourselves about life — and become self-righteous, perhaps even persecuting those who differ in their point of view.
Now let’s look at Gemini: at its highest vibration, this sign helps us stay connected to our immediate environment and “day-to-day mind” — processing and sharing as much information as we can, as quickly as possible. We stay curious, constantly looking for ways to learn what we need, so we can connect all the dots and communicate intelligently.
Again, when we suppress the higher vibration of this energy, we move into the shadow side of Gemini: superficiality, talking without listening, chattering randomly, sharing information without substance or meaning.
Ask yourself: What is the difference between information and interpretation? What might change for me if I questioned my assumptions about what I think I know? Or who I think I am? Or why things are the way they are? What new information might I spot if I stepped back and took a wider view?
Given this is the first of this year’s Full Moons with Uranus in Taurus, I want to invite you to take a look at the special article I wrote on the subject for all my wonderful site Members, if you haven’t seen it yet 😉 Click here to read “Uranus in Taurus until 2026 – a New Vision for the Earth” (you may need to log in first 😉
Mercury, the ruler of Gemini, is in 29 degrees of Taurus, at the time of the Full Moon. That’s the last degree of a sign — and therefore an exalted degree.
We want to share and connect in practical, sensual ways, applying the information we receive to the real world and ourselves, our values, and our physical experience of life.
As best as you can, allow yourself to take your time processing things… there is no rush, unless you decide to believe there is 😉
Ask yourself: What information am I receiving and processing around what’s valuable to me and my comfort?
Jupiter (the ruler of Sagittarius) is currently in Scorpio. Jupiter is still Retrograde; we are therefore accessing its energy from within right now.
Ask yourself: What’s my inner process around fears and traumas from the past? If I looked deeper, what might I uncover about those fears?
Where am I attached to disempowerment? What would I see if I could float up above that attachment? What new possibility could I be creating?
I also have a webinar that talks about Jupiter in Scorpio in more detail, you might want to rewatch it, if you joined us for this Forum in October of last year. If you’d like to buy it, I’m offering a discount coupon — just email me, and I will send it along 😉
Jupiter in Scorpio answers to Pluto and Saturn in Capricorn (by rulership, since Pluto rules Scorpio, and Saturn rules Capricorn)… And all of these planets are currently Retrograde, indicating that we might want to take take a closer look at our inner processes around feeling empowered, and around trust in our own authority.
Ask yourself: Where do I sometimes give my power away? Who did I put in charge of what I feel? Or experience? To whom have I delegated the decision of what’s best for me? Who gets to decide how empowered I feel? What if I paid 5% more attention to my inner state? What if I took 5% more responsibility for who I’m being, and how that makes me feel?
Saturn is also part of a Yod (aka “Finger of God”) involving the Sun in Gemini and the North Node in Leo, directing our attention to the Saturn-energy inside of us. The key here is to take responsibility for what shows up in our lives and where we go from there!
This Yod could also stir up some discomfort and nervousness about our current life situation, perhaps asking ourselves: Am I prepared? What could be the consequences be? What’s the first thing I need to take care of?
Rather than coming from fear, ask yourself: What could I add to feel rooted and strong inside? What might become possible if I focused 5% more on what I actually have some influence over and let go of the rest? If so, where do I have influence? What would a baby-step toward a long-term goal look like?
This Full Moon chart also has two Grand Trines, one in the astrological element of Fire, and the other in Water.
The Fire Grand Trine connects the Moon in Sagittarius both with Chiron in Aries, and with the North Node in Leo, showing us that truth has the power to heal — but only when combined with an open heart and mind. “Truth” delivered from judgment, anger, righteousness or blame generally harms and hurts others. For the next two weeks, do your best to observe your actions and reactions, and just simply notice when you are defending or justifying (you don’t need to “fix” what you observe, as this is more of the same — simple observation will often cause these patterns to dissolve).
Ask yourself: What healing and compassionate action could I take right now that would be surprising, even to myself? What if I noticed that I’m ready to walk my own talk? Might that inspire others to do the same? How might a “holistic” form of exercise like Yoga, Tai Chi or Walking Mediation contribute?
The Water Grand Trine connects Jupiter in Scorpio both to Neptune in Pisces, and to Venus in Cancer; this brings a wonderful flow to our ability to trust, rest, let go, and nurture ourselves.
Ask yourself: If I got really quiet, might I find I can connect to the flow of life? Might I get a glimpse of the love that is always present everywhere?
How strong and deep are my connections to loved ones? How close are my friendships? Do I have people that provide an emotional support system in my life? Do I have people who support my feeling nurtured and loved? Who supports my journey towards greater self-acceptance and self-realization? Could I allow these connections to grow stronger, deeper, more meaningful?
Gemini & Sagittarius are both extroverted, social signs — yet all the Water and Earth signs in this Full Moon chart promote our connection to the feminine energies within us, our physical body and feeling-body.
If something resonates with you, it means it is aligned with your energy, so move toward that which resonates and away from that which does not. There’s no need for “judgement” here, simply listen to your body, heed your inner guidance, and ask yourself: Where have I been getting drained? Where do I get recharged? Where is the path of least resistance towards myself?
Last but not least, let me mention Mars in Aquarius: The Full Moon makes some beautiful aspects to the Mars-South Node alignment in Aquarius, these point to greater ease around connecting with like-minded people and moving our ideas about the future forward. A couple of things to watch out for along the way: getting attached to something looking a particular way, and giving up our uniqueness to fit in or belong.
Ask yourself: Does the vision align with who I truly am? As I take action toward that vision, do I feel fully alive and filled with joy? Am I keeping the bigger picture in view or pursuing that vision with my face pressed right up against it?
This last question is especially important, given that Mars goes retrograde at the end of June and remains so all summer; as such, the path toward those ideals may seem to stretch a bit further than we expect.

To sum it all up for this Full Moon: It’s best for us to move forward slowly but surely, harnessing our potential for growth, expansion and evolution, and remembering that our sense of balance needs to come from within — as best as you can, stay rooted in the inner knowing that all is well, and that you (and you alone) determine what is true for you.
And a final question: Could I simply ask my Higher Self to support me in letting things unfold for the highest good of everyone involved?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 6-10 degrees of Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo, Pisces? If so, you are more affected by this month’s Full Moon. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
Tuesday evening at 7:49pm EDT, Mercury changes signs from steady, slow-paced Taurus to curious, quick-witted Gemini, where it will journey until June 12th. For the next 2 weeks, our thinking shifts gears: Mercury — the energy of communication — will pick up the pace of our lives just a little.
Mental exchanges and abilities take priority for the next two weeks — talking, writing, sharing, connecting to the world around us in whatever way we can (internet, phone, in person, TV, radio…). This is a time with great potential for studying and learning, curiosity and open-mindedness, and social/intellectual growth.
Make sure you don’t exhaust yourself during this time. As best as you can, keep taking breaks and let yourself see the larger picture now and again. Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo? If so, you will feel the pick up in pace more strongly.
Wednesday (May 30th): the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day (see Monday early evening for details).
Wednesday at 2:26am EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for 27 hours, until 5:27am EDT (Thursday morning). Use this intuitive time to make some adjustments. As best you can, honor both your need for adventure and exploration of life and your need to go within and get quiet. You may also feel a pull between introvert and extrovert, or simply fast and slow.
Tune in for a moment and see if you need to take a break or at least slow down a little. As best as you can, be compassionate and kind with yourself — and as always with a Moon VoC, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Wednesday all day until Thursday early morning ahead of time. (Moon squares Neptune in Pisces).
If you’ve been thinking about signing up for this Thursday’s FORECASTING FORUM, you only have until 6pm tomorrow (Thursday).
The Mars Station and Retrograde phases start in June; we will be talking about this in relationship to our own birth charts (Mars will be in Aquarius, moving back into Capricorn). In particular, we’ll look at what this all means for our current healing journey around our masculine energies.
So, if you’d like to know how these transitions will impact you personally, join me live, or sign up for the mp4-video presentation. Other than booking a reading with me, this is the highest level of support you can get — and it’s only $37 for the 90+ minute webinar.
A reminder for Star and SuperStar Members: You are automatically signed up for the Forum — keep an eye out for the email with the link to join (and after the live event, you’ll receive an email with a link to download the webinar video).

Thursday (May 31st): the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius until 5:27am EDT (see Monday early evening for details).
Thursday at 5:27am EDT, the Moon enters practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn, where it will journey until Saturday early evening. We tend to be more realistic, serious, cautious; this can support practical endeavors and financial matters.
Our ambition surges and brings with it a need for structure and planning; when you add in the pragmatism this aspect supports, you can see how this could be a very productive time for business and long-term goals. Our reputation becomes very important to us.
As best as you can during this aspect, avoid “should-ing” on yourself. Take the pressure off, perhaps by saying “I am doing the best I can and that’s all I can ever do” 😉
Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn; it is currently transiting through its own sign, making this a great time to take look at your long-term aspirations and anything that you would like to master over the next three years. It’s also a great time to take a more serious look at our strategies for self-mastery.
For starters: Do you truly see “what’s so” in your life (as opposed to what you merely wish it to be, or what you would like it to be, or where you see yourself going, etc)? What is actually so right now? Once you have a handle on where “A” is, it’s easier to “go from A to B” — whether “B” is self-mastery or standing on the mountaintop.
Thursday until 6pm EDT, is your last chance to sign up for Thursday’s FORECASTING FORUM. Please note that we will be talking about the Mars Station and Retrograde phases, in relationship to our own birth charts — both of which will be starting in June. Mars will be in Aquarius, moving back into Capricorn. What does this mean for our current Healing journey of our masculine energies?
If you want to know how they are going to impact you personally, join me live or sign up for the mp4-video presentation. Other than booking a reading with me, this is the highest level of support you can get — and it’s only $37 for the 90+ minute webinar.
Are you a Star or SuperStar Member? You are automatically signed up for the Forum and will receive an email with the link to join and another email with a link to download the mp4-video presentation of the webinar.

Friday (June 1st): the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn all day (see Thursday morning for details).
Friday late morning, a harmonious Mercury/Mars aspect becomes exact at 10:13am EDT. We start to feel this aspect build from Wednesday evening on, it will remain strong until Saturday evening. This helps clarify our goals. We act from vision (and forward-looking, innovative thinking); this supports collaboration with others on shared goals, on an equal footing.
We are quick, perceptive and brave; interestingly, we can easily perceive the weaknesses of others right now. Our minds are more restless, so it’s important that we keep ourselves active. We are expressive and have lively conversations in which we speak visionary truths without coming across as too blunt or offensive — on the other hand, due to the cerebral nature of what we are sharing, we might not come across as very warm.
We seem to download great insights and make superb decisions at the very last minute — and the good news is, we can easily turn our insights into workable projects.
Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 2-8 degrees of Aquarius, Gemini, or Libra? If so, you may feel more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Aries (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Mars rules Aries)
Also on Friday late morning, a harmonious Venus/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 10:29am EDT. We start to feel this aspect build from Tuesday evening (May 29th) on, it will remain strong until Sunday evening. This aspect is connected to the Grand Water trine, I spoke of in my Full Moon video. Feel free to watch this vide for more details.
This aspect brings a good dose of optimism, faith and a sense of the “bigger picture” to our relationships and finances. We tend to relate to others in a positive (even inspiring) manner; as you can imagine, it is thus much easier to make social contacts.
Our outlook is cheerful and hopeful, the atmosphere cooperative. Integrity and loyalty are favored; it’s a great time for winning people’s trust. We are more open and trusting with friends and lovers. We might feel an urge to connect to people from other countries or foreign cultures, just to have an adventure, or widen our horizons.
Financially, there might be a tendency to spend more than usual, as we feel confident that an abundance of resources is available to us. There are indeed definitely plenty of opportunities to be had, financial and otherwise, especially in connection with real-estate, merging partnerships, shadow work, therapy, coaching, family businesses or endeavors in the food industry and the intimacy industry 😉
There is just one thing to watch out for this week: This could also be a lazy and self-indulgent time 🙂
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 12-19 degrees of Cancer, Scorpio, or Pisces? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Sagittarius (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius).
Friday at 11:37pm EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for 18.5 hours, until 6:06pm EDT (Saturday early evening). Use this intuitive time to focus on long-term successes. We might get a little obsessed with a project or task — as best as you can, take breaks and don’t forget to practice a little self-care 😉
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Friday late evening until Saturday early evening ahead of time.
Saturday (June 2nd): the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn until 6:06pm EDT (see Thursday morning for details).
Saturday early morning, a harmonious Venus/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 4:26am EDT. We start to feel this aspect build from Wednesday evening on, it will remain strong until next Monday evening (June 4th). This aspect is also connected to the Grand Water trine, I spoke of in my Full Moon video. Feel free to watch this vide for more details.
This aspect makes for a very creative and beautiful time; music, art, the movies and the theatre are in high demand. Spiritual endeavors are easily shared with others.
We might not have the best boundaries in place in our relationships, socializing or with money… but we sure as hell know how to enjoy ourselves. We connect to others in a compassionate, sweet, loving way; we are more likely to feel romantic.
Our intuition and instincts are strongly supported here too. It becomes easier to trust others and open up to them; we give ourselves permission to receive love and emotional support. As best as you can, let all feelings flow.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 13-19 degrees of Cancer, Pisces or Scorpio? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Pisces (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Neptune rules Pisces).
Saturday late morning, a somewhat challenging Mercury/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 9:16am EDT. This will contribute either to a lack of mental energy or a need to focus on our commitments with others. We start to feel this aspect build from Friday evening on, it will remain strong until later tonight (Saturday late evening). This aspect operates more on an internal level: We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward — and we need to make a choice.
The sheer scope of our goals in life can require more effort than is immediately obvious. Hard work can take its toll on our health. If we partition our big ideas into achievable segments — and go one clear action step at a time — we can move forward while maintaining inner peace and outer health. Use your time wisely! Develop the inner awareness needed, so you can see what needs adjusting.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 6-9 degrees of Gemini or Capricorn? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Capricorn (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Saturn rules Capricorn)
Saturday at 6:06pm EDT, the Moon enters freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius, where it will journey until next Tuesday morning (June 5th). The energy of the Aquarian Moon relates to our instinct for improvement. Reactions are more intellectual than emotional; interactions more impersonal than personal. We are likely to have an increased fascination with the new and unusual.
Social gatherings, anything connected with group ideals and goals for the future, brainstorming, new ideas and methods, progress: all these are promoted during the time the Moon moves through Aquarius. Again: we have our eyes on the future — or on outer space 🙂 Personal freedom becomes paramount.
Sunday (June 3rd): the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius all day (see Saturday early evening for details).
Sunday afternoon: we feel a flow and support towards socializing and connecting with others. Great ideas and concepts can be shared right now.
Sunday evening has a socially active feel… Sharing our vision and thinking things through with others comes easily
Sunday night/ Monday very early morning, at 1:10am, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for a little over 29.5 hours, until 6:53am EDT (Tuesday morning – June 5th). We are experiencing two quite different needs, pulling us in different directions.
On the one hand, we feel strongly drawn to like-minded people and want to focus on progressing toward our future. On the other hand, we want to explore deep, authentic — even intimate — connections to ourselves or others. Do your best to use this intuitive time to make adjustments, slow things down a little, and find creative solutions that honor both drives.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Sunday night/Monday all day until Tuesday morning ahead of time.
A heads up for next Monday (June 4th): the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius all day (see Saturday early evening for details). Monday at 1:10am, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for a little over 29.5-hours, until 6:53am EDT Tuesday morning. Also on Monday, the Moon in Aquarius quincunxes Venus in Capricorn at 8:43am EDT. More about the details in next week forecast.
One Last Announcement:
