A Process of Maturing — Forecast for May 6th – 12th

This week’s headline items: Mercury changes signs from Aries to Taurus on Monday afternoon, Pluto’s Station phase ends on Wednesday, Saturn’s Station phase ends on Friday.

OnThursday afternoon, it’s time to start taking action on our New Moon intentions; and the first Quarter Moon in Leo becomes exact on Saturday. There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday evening (for a little over 9 hours), Thursday late evening (for a little over 11 hours), and Sunday morning (for 4 hours).

Before we get to this week’s forecast, I have one quick announcement:
Last chance to watch the Pluto and Saturn Station & Retrograde webinar! Only available until May 11th, and this week only, you can get a 20% discount. Apply discount code: Webinar4Less at check out.

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, May 6th:

Monday, the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini all day. It will journey there until Wednesday early morning. Until then, we like to learn, connect and interact as much as possible. “Busy” feels good: connecting online, on the phone, or sharing face-to-face, preferably multi-tasking all the way…

The one thing we can do without is boredom: If our mind is not engaged in some way, we might as well curl up and play dead 🙂 As best as you can, be patient with yourself and others.

Monday until 6:45pm EDT: If you haven’t gotten around to it yet, set your Intentions for this Moon cycle… If possible, align them with the New Moon energies that I spoke about in my video — feel free to watch it again if you are not sure anymore — click here to watch my video on the New Moon 😉

Monday morning, consider connecting with others, socializing, and taking a compassionate approach toward yourself and others, especially when it comes to personal goals and passions. Ask yourself: what if taking a compassionate approach towards myself and others actually made for more fulfilling connections?

Monday at 2:25pm EDTMercury changes signs from enthusiastic, fast-paced Aries to steady, peaceful Taurus, where it will journey until May 21st. For the next 2 weeks, our thinking shifts gears: we want to connect to others in a realistic, down-to-earth way and we “say it like it is”. We appreciate common sense; we rely on our senses when it comes to processing information.

A well-developed sense of color, smell, and touch are characteristic of this Mercury position, so as long as Mercury is in Taurus, we will be drawn towards the “tasteful” in the realm of the five senses. We are more likely to have a no-nonsense approach to decision-making, and our ideas are often very practical and useful at this time.

When it comes to learning, we prefer demonstrations, concrete answers, and basic concepts for the next 2 weeks. We learn best when we…

We learn best when we see real-world uses for the theories we are trying to absorb. We simply process information better when we can personalize it (“what use is it to me?”) and attach it to the practical world.

Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus? If so, you may feel more talkative during this time. Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo? If so, you may need to slow down and “smell the roses” 😉

Tuesday, May 7th:

Tuesday, the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini all day (see Monday for more details).

Tuesday morning, we are required to make some adjustments — and we may need to do a little stretching and growing, when it comes to our inner or emotional experiences. As best as you can, be gentle with yourself and others, seek to understand before seeking to be understood.

Tuesday late morning, a challenging Venus/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 9:26am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Sunday evening on, it will remain strong until this Thursday evening. This aspect asks us to stretch and grow beyond how we’ve known ourselves in our relationships up to this point — a process of maturing that requires we adjust and stay flexible.

On the one hand, we want to make new and passionate connections while enthusiastically engaging with life; on the other hand, we feel a sharp need to focus on what we want to manifest long-term — what works, what doesn’t, what are our resources to make it happen, how can we move from A to B without missing anything essential — in short, to determine what’s real and can provide us with the best foundation for the next step. Do your best to make space for both of these urges.

We tend to be more cautious when it comes to relationships and finances now — and in fact, this is not the best time to start a brand-new romantic relationship. Financially though, this aspect can be eye-opening; if we can find creative ways to deal with money, we will grow from it.

The key is to approach things in both realms with enthusiasm and maturity. Pushing will most likely not get us what we want: better to go one step at a time, slow and steady; that way, we can come back later with a stronger approach and more mature expectations.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 17-24 degrees of Aries, Capricorn, Cancer, or Libra? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Capricorn (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn).

Tuesday late morning/early afternoon, we may experience some internal discomfort and need to make some inner adjustments. We feel nudged toward being responsible and building something that will last long-term.

Also, Tuesday late morning/early afternoon, we feel an opportunity to move things forward for ourselves, especially anything connected to finances or partnerships.

Tuesday late afternoon, feels a little uneasy. Again, we need to develop an inner awareness around our two seemingly opposite pulls: on the one hand, a strong desire for accomplishment, on the other, our need to make connections and exchange information.
We are asked to bring awareness to whatever it is we feel most passionate about: Are we after superficial exchanges? Or intense and authentic emotion? As best as you can, make adjustments as needed, and drop any self-judgment.

Tuesday late afternoon/early evening, we are invited to balance our desire for sharing and gathering information with our desire to go beyond learned knowledge and tap into a greater wisdom that helps us grow and expand mentally, physically or spiritually.

Tuesday at 7:50pm EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for a little over 9 hours, until 5:06am EDT (Wednesday early morning)Use this intuitive time to communicate honestly and directly: make sharing and connecting your goal!

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Tuesday evening until Wednesday early morning ahead of time.

Wednesday, May 8th:

Wednesday, the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini an VoC until 5:06am EDT, at that time, the Moon moves into protective, nurturing Cancer, where it will journey until Friday early morning. With this Moon placement, we are more sensitive to what people say and therefore our feelings are more easily hurt — so be kind to yourself and others. Self-Care is key for the next two and half days 😉

Emotional safety is important to us as well; we like connecting to the familiar and we enjoy nurturing ourselves and others — home and family call to us, for instance. Make sure though, that your glass is filled before letting others drink from it, otherwise you might start to feel drained and resentful.

Wednesday late morning, a Mercury/Uranus alignment in almost 3 degrees of Taurus becomes exact at 10:23am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Monday evening on, it will be strong until Thursday.  An important insight is coming through — and we want to turn this insight into something real — something tangible, practical, and beautiful. We might find ourselves part of some really unusual conversations, our mind could be flooded with new information and ideas, and we most likely feel excited by these fresh ideas and insights.

It’s a time when we could achieve real breakthroughs in the form of ideas, communications, and the mind in general — but coupled with the possibility of edginess and impatience toward those who don’t value our new insights. Nervousness, impulsivity and fidgeting could be a by-product of this alignment as well.

Computers and electronics may suddenly become important. We’ll likely have flashes of insight into our own mental workings, original thoughts, etc. As best as you can, and as much as you want to, stay open to other dimensions and stay grounded in your body. That way, all that energy can move through you, without shaking you to the core 😉

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 0-6 degrees of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio or Aquarius? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Aquarius  (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Uranus rules Aquarius).

Wednesday late evening, an opportune Sun/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 10:52pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Monday evening on; it will be strong until Friday evening. This aspect is an opportunity both to dissolve what no longer serves us, and to connect to our intuition. We definitely feel inspired.

Charitable acts lift our spirits — our capacity for compassion (both toward ourselves and others) is quite strong, especially if we are able to acknowledge it. Dreams and reality find a way to work together now — any spiritual or creative endeavors that are started during this time will most likely do very well. Remember: this is an “opportunity” — it isn’t just handed to us, we have to make it happen.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 16-20 degrees of Taurus, Pisces, Capricorn or Cancer? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Pisces (the Sun rules Leo; Neptune is the ruler of Pisces).

Also on Wednesday, although now retrograde, Pluto resumes its normal pace through the sky, ending its Station phase today (Wednesday). What has come up in the last three weeks around long-term goals? How empowered or disempowered do you feel about them? The Retrograde phase is a good time to do some internal work in this area (the retrograde ends on Oct. 3rd).

We now have 5 months to go over anything that has felt disempowering to us in connection with long-term goals. We are also now ready to contemplate solutions for whatever was “in our face” from April 8th until now — solutions that work well both with our inner sense of empowerment and our outer reality. Feel free to also watch my webinar on the subject, to get some additional support, if you haven’t seen it yet. Use the discount code: Webinar4Less to get a 20% discount between now and May 11th

Thursday, May 9th:

Thursday, the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer all day (see Wednesday early morning for details).

Thursday early afternoon, a harmonious Venus/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 12:56pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Monday evening on; it will be strong until Saturday evening. Harmony and goodwill reign under this influence. We experience expansive feelings in love and a feeling that anything is possible if we set our sights high enough.

We are more likely to be friendly, open, and optimistic — it’s a great time for winning people’s trust, making it much easier to make social contacts. We believe in our relationships and we have faith that all is going to work out for the best.

We might feel an urge to connect to people from other countries or foreign cultures, just to have an adventure, or widen our horizons. Financially, there might be a tendency to spend more than usual, as we feel confident that an abundance of resources is available to us. The thing to watch out for is the feeling that we don’t have to actually do anything to “cash in”.

That said, there are plenty of opportunities to be had, financial and otherwise, especially in connection with new projects, athletic endeavors, publications, continued education, spiritual or mental journeys, anything to with travel, and anything that requires the big-picture view or a new perspective.

Ask yourself: What opportunities are opening up to me at this time? What actions might bring about expansion? What if I asked “who” as well as “how”?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 20-26 degrees of Aries, Sagittarius, or Leo? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Sagittarius (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius).

Thursday afternoon, a challenging Venus/Pluto alignment becomes exact at 1:20pm EDT. We started feeling this aspect from Monday on; it will be strong until Saturday evening. The Universe is asking us to stretch and grow. Venus represents our relationships and that which we most value; these areas may undergo major transformations.

This aspect challenges us to find meaning in our life through partnerships. We must now uncover the deeper layer of our life. With Pluto in the mix, social interactions could be intense.

You may see changes in financial status or relationships. In the latter, things erupt that have been brewing beneath the surface for some time; this may prove disruptive: As best you can, empower rather than disempower. We may become obsessed with our commitments and our partner during this time.

We may also experience Pluto through our partner, experiencing manipulation and controlling behaviors; we must be especially wary of resisting change and holding onto “old” attachments. It’s time to let go of destructive attachments and connections. How can we grow and evolve in our relationships? Is there a relationship that we need to grow and evolve out of?

This aspect could also express itself through sexual tension; there is a strong desire for love in its physical expression. However, keep your standards high, so you can come upon a love that fulfills all your needs — definitely don’t start a relationship with “just anyone”, in order to avoid being alone.

Remember to be true to your own values; wait for someone with whom you can have a relationship based on trust, love and a genuine desire for intimacy — and work on being worth finding, in the meantime 🙂

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 20-26 degrees of Aries, Capricorn, Libra or Cancer? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Scorpio (Venus being the ruler of Taurus and Libra, while Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio)

Thursday between 1:57pm and 10:06pm EDT: it’s time to take actions on our New Moon intentions: if you set Intentions last week Saturday, Sunday, or this week Monday (May 6th) — after the New Moon became exact — today (Thursday) will be the best time to take relevant actions. If you wrote your intentions down, go back and take another look at what came through intuitively. If you didn’t write anything down, get quiet for a moment and check in with yourself: What actions are calling to me?

Thursday at 10:06pm EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for a little over 11 hours, until 9:14am EDT (Friday morning). Use this intuitive time to make some adjustments in your life. As best as you can, find creative solutions to seemingly unsolvable situations. Make space for connections with family or loved ones, or for nurturing and supporting others — or for taking care of yourself and going after your own personal goals or passions.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Thursday late evening until Friday morning ahead of time.

Friday, May 10th:

Friday, the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer and VoC until 9:14am EDT (see Wednesday early morning and Thursday late evening for details); at that time, the Moon moves into fun and attention-loving Leo, where it will journey until Sunday early afternoon.

We may lack objectivity and struggle with backing down or compromising. We all love to be admired — or at the very least acknowledged — for our greatness 🙂

So hand out some compliments — let people know how proud you are of them, tell them how much you love them. Come from the heart in this and all other things… be honest and authentic, as best you can. Fun, games and romance are a big part of this energy as well. You might also enjoy spending time with little ones.

If there are no “outer children” around, how about getting in touch with your “inner child” — it’s definitely easier for the next two-and-a-half days. What are you most grateful for today? What would be heaps and heaps of fun? What would be so much fun, you let out a tiny squeak, just thinking of it? This Moon placement starts the build up towards the first quarter Moon (exact Saturday late evening).

Friday late afternoon, things flow nicely and we feel excited about new healing modalities. There’s an opportunity here to be compassionate toward ourselves and others and for connecting to our inner child. As best as you can, have fun when connecting with others, bring a healing quality to the table by tapping into your inner joy, explore things on a holistic level, and take a risk.

Also on Friday, although now retrograde, Saturn resumes its normal pace through the sky, ending its Station phase. What came up in the last two weeks around any commitments to build something long-term? How about the need to be more realistic? How truthful are you with yourself about “where you’re at”? The Retrograde phase is a good time to do some internal work in these areas (the retrograde ends on Sept. 18th).

We now have 4.5 months to go over recently built business structures, to see if they are aligned with our inner truth. We are also now ready to contemplate solutions for whatever was “in our face” from April 14th until now — solutions that work well both with our inner truth and our outer reality. Feel free to also watch my webinar on the subject, to get some additional support, if you haven’t seen it yet. Use the discount code: Webinar4Less to get a 20% discount until May 11th.

Saturday, May 11th:

Saturday, the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo all day (see Friday late morning for details).

Saturday early morning, a harmonious Sun/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 5:19am EDT. We start to feel this aspect build from this Tuesday on; it will be strong until next week, Monday (May 13th). Commitment and discipline are the keys to understanding our heart’s desire right now. We face life on life’s terms and feel up to doing so (especially when it comes to honoring our talents).

Ask yourself: What could I achieve if I bought 5% more joy to my long-term plans? Paradoxically, we can also bring a more mature approach to exploring our “inner child” energy. How might a supportive “inner parent” help your “inner child” feel safe to play?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 17-23 degrees of Taurus, Capricorn or Virgo? Or your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Capricorn (the Sun rules Leo; Saturn rules Capricorn)? If either of those is true, you can expect to be more blessed by this aspect 🙂

Saturday afternoon, we are invited to make some internal adjustments. We may want to have some fun, but may also need to tune in to our intuitive inner voice. What do you hear when you get really quiet?

Saturday late evening, at 9:12pm EDT, the first Quarter Moon in 21 degrees of Leo becomes exact. We started to feel this aspect from the moment the Moon entered Leo Friday morning. The Moon in fun and attention-loving Leo makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in steady, peaceful Taurus.

We feel compelled to take action. The New Moon took place a week ago (May 4th); “seeds” planted then are probably “sprouting” by now — and making their first real contact with the outside world. This is therefore a time to stretch and grow — and create some forward momentum. We may feel anxious or unusually busy.

As best as you can, go one breath at a time. Allow for changes, remain flexible (as much as possible), and find creative solutions for your day-to-day interactions with others.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in any of the following: 19-23 degrees of Leo, Taurus, Aquarius  or Scorpio? If so, you will feel the effects of this first Quarter Moon more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Saturday night/Sunday very early morning, things flow nicely; we feel excited about new adventures. We have an opportunity to connect, explore, and become part of something exciting.

Also, Saturday night/Sunday very early morning, feels a little uneasy again. We need to develop an inner awareness around our two seemingly opposite pulls: on the one hand, a strong desire to accomplish; on the other, our need for play and fun.

We are asked to bring awareness to whatever it is we feel most passionate about: Are we after laughter and joy? Or intense and authentic emotion? As best as you can, make adjustments as needed, and again, drop any self-judgment.

Sunday, May 12th:

Sunday, the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo until 12:22pm EDT (see Friday late morning for details).

Sunday at 8:24am EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for 4 hours, until 12:22pm EDT. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to have fun connecting with others, exchanging information and doing things that bring you joy.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Sunday morning until the early afternoon ahead of time.

Sunday at 12:22pm EDT, the Moon moves into detail-oriented, practical Virgo, where it will journey next week, Tuesday afternoon (May 14th); turning our focus toward the practical and wholesome. We are generous with our time/services and we love to help others. We also have a fondness for science and anything that makes sense in our world — things and knowledge we can apply and use.

Health might come also into focus at this time. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.) align with our long-term goals.

Sunday early evening: we are invited to connect with like-minded people and learn something new about our unique talents or value in the world. We are able to better connect to anything that requires attention to detail. We might also perhaps implement revolutionary health routines or other systems in our day to day life that support our values and make life more enjoyable.

Sunday evening, calls for some inner adjustments. We feel uneasy or awkward and need to make a choice. Making this choice demands we develop inner awareness around two very different urges: on the one hand, the desire to heal our relationship with the inner masculine (assertiveness/anger, leadership, taking actions) — and on the other, the need to tend to our daily work or health routines.

And…

A heads up for next Monday (May 13th): the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day (see Sunday early afternoon for details). In the Afternoon, a somewhat challenging Sun/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 2:27pm EDT; we started to feel this aspect build from May 12th on; it will remain strong until May 14th . And in the late evening, a harmonious Sun/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 11:07pm EDT; we started to feel this aspect build from May 10th on; it will remain strong until May 16th/17th. More about the details in next week’s forecast 🙂
