* The New Moon makes a Trine to Pluto in Capricorn, and a sextile to Jupiter in Scorpio
* Mercury, the ruler of Virgo, is in its own sign, and remains in Virgo until Sept. 21st
* Mercury is also part of a Grand Earth Trine, involving Saturn in Capricorn and Uranus in Taurus
* Mars and Saturn are both still stationing, and both in Capricorn
* Venus enters Scorpio 8.5 hours before the New Moon becomes exact
