Now, this week’s Forecast…
Monday, November 22nd:
Monday, the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer all day. With this Moon placement, we are more sensitive to what people say and therefore our feelings are more easily hurt — so be kind to yourself and others. Self-Care is key for the next two days 😉
Emotional safety is important to us as well; we like connecting to the familiar and we enjoy nurturing ourselves and others — home and family call to us, for instance. Make sure though, that your glass is filled before letting others drink from it, otherwise you might start to feel drained and resentful.
Monday afternoon, we are asked to make some inner adjustments, as we may experience some internal discomfort. Personal comfort and safety is important for the Moon in Cancer, yet Saturn in Aquarius reminds us that staying attached to the past is not going to lead to new creations, or bring forth new visions for the future. (Moon in Cancer quincunxes Saturn in Aquarius, exact at 3:32pm EST)
Monday late afternoon, we are invited to make adjustments and (as best as we can) find creative solutions to seemingly insoluble situations. Make space both for healing around anger or self-identity and for taking care of emotional or family issues. (Moon in Cancer squares Chiron in Aries, exact at 4:19pm EST)
Monday late evening, brings an opportunity to connect to family (or friends that feel like family) and create breakthroughs around things that we enjoy through our five senses (e.g. food). This may also be a good time to find a unique or global approach on financial matters that bring us…

This may also be a good time to find a unique or global approach on financial matters that bring us a sense of emotional security. (Moon in Cancer sextiles Uranus in Taurus, exact at 10:59pm EST)
Tuesday, Nov. 23rd:
Tuesday, the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced protective, nurturing Cancer all day (see Monday morning for details).
Tuesday early morning, our instincts and need for safety are strongly engaged; we are invited to balance our need for something familiar against our need for worldly success and status. As best as you can, get in touch with what you truly want and need: Is it the world’s approval or an authentic emotional self-connection? (Moon in Cancer opposes Venus in Capricorn, exact at 5:49am EST)
Tuesday morning, we are invited to engage in a spiritual/intuitive journey inwards, or to start a creative endeavor and lend loving and nurturing support to others. As best as you can, allow for feelings to flow, and release anything that feels outdated or stuck in the past. (Moon in Cancer trines Mars in Scorpio, exact at 7:24am EST)
Tuesday afternoon, we are in a state of “flow” and emotional connection to others; spiritual and creative endeavors are favored. (Moon in Cancer trines Neptune in Pisces, exact at 3:50pm EST)
Tuesday night/Wednesday very early morning, at 12:46am EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for a little over 10 hours, until 10:59am EST (Wednesday late morning). Use this intuitive time to remain flexible and practice self-care — take good care of your emotional and physical body that way, you’ll remain able to empower yourself and others.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Tuesday night until Wednesday late morning ahead of time.
Wednesday, Nov. 24th:
Wednesday, the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced protective, nurturing Cancer and VoC until 10:59am EST (see Monday morning for details).
Wednesday, at 10:36am EST, Mercury changes signs from intense, passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio to optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius. It will journey through this fiery sign, until Dec. 13th. During this time, our thinking shifts from a need to plumb the depths of any given situation, to the desire to explore a wide range of topics — especially topics that widen our horizons.
We seek out new ideas; our thinking is more optimistic and our faith increases. We are more equipped to believe and to persuade and will have an easier time re-framing problems into opportunities: What if we saw everything that happens to us as a chance to grow? What might change if everything was happening “for” us rather than “to” us?
Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo? If so, you will feel a greater need for expansion — let’s hope it’s not your waistline that expands 🙂 Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Sagittarius? If so, you will most likely feel more chatty for the next 19 days.
Wednesday, at 10:59am EST, the Moon moves into fun and attention-loving Leo, where it will journey until Friday evening. We may lack objectivity and struggle with backing down or compromising. We all love to be admired — or at the very least acknowledged — for our greatness 🙂
So hand out some compliments — let people know how proud you are of them, tell them how much you love them. Come from the heart in this and all other things… be honest and authentic, as best you can. Fun, games and romance are a big part of this energy as well. You might also enjoy spending time with little ones.
If there are no “outer children” around, how about getting in touch with your “inner child” — it’s definitely easier for the next two days. What are you most grateful for today? What would be heaps and heaps of fun? What would be so much fun, you let out a tiny squeak, just thinking of it?
Thursday, Nov. 25th:
Thursday, the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo all day (see Wednesday late evening for details).
Happy Thanksgiving to those of you who celebrate it! I am so grateful to be connecting with all of you one way or another. Gratitude is a special gift that we can give to ourselves and others every day, and it gives so much in return. What are you grateful for?
Thursday very early morning, if we are awake during this time, we are being invited to focus on making realistic choices when it comes to connecting with others; do your best to be your most authentic, joyful Self when connecting with like-minded people. (Moon in Leo opposes Saturn in Aquarius, exact at 3:52am EST)
Thursday early morning, things flow nicely and we feel excited about new healing modalities. There’s an opportunity here to be compassionate toward ourselves and others and for connecting to our inner child. As best as you can, have fun when connecting with others, bring a healing quality to the table by tapping into your inner joy, explore things on a holistic level, and take a risk. (Moon in Leo trines Chiron in Aries, exact at 4:10am EST)
Thursday late morning, we may feel pulled in two quite different directions: On the one hand, we experience a need for connecting with our inner child-energy (creative self-expressions and joy), on the other hand, we want to make space for pursuing our financial vision — and we also want to break free from outdated value systems.
As such, we may have to address what we value, both in others, and in ourselves (which informs our self-worth); as best as you can, make adjustments and find creative solutions when it comes to these energies. (Moon in Leo squares Uranus in Taurus, exact at 10:32am EST)
Also, on Thursday, Neptune’s station intensifies — and will appear to move even more slowly through the sky until Dec. 8th. It is getting ready to come to a halt, to end it’s 5-month Retrograde phase on Dec. 1st.
A planet’s energies are more exalted during it’s “station period”; this has even more weight for an outer planet, as they move more slowly and their stations last much longer. This Neptune station is particularly strong, since it occurs in Pisces, its own sign.
Neptune represents things like universal love, our inner divinity, spirituality, inspiration, compassion, faith — plus creative and imaginative realms such as music or film — while the shadow side is confusion, illusion and escapism of all kinds. We start to be aware of all those energies more fully in our lives.
This awareness helps us to connect more fully to those energies as they exist within us. We can then see where we need to either embrace them more fully, or connect to them in a healthy way, that doesn’t involve getting lost in the murky lower vibrations of their expression.
Some of us will feel the effects of this station more than others: those of us with a Pisces Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant) — and those of us with personal planets and points in 18-23 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini or Sagittarius.
Friday, Nov. 26th:
Friday, the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo until 9:12pm EST (see Wednesday late evening for details).
Friday late morning, at 11:24am EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for almost 10 hours, until 9:12pm EST. Use this intuitive time to choose clearly when it comes to expanding your perspective around a cause or like-minded people. Do your best to find a balance between your need for heartfelt, joyful self-expression in the here and now, and for moving into an intellectually stimulating and inspirational future.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Friday late morning until evening ahead of time.
Friday evening, a long-term, opportune Saturn/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 8:03pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Nov. 3rd on; and it will remain strong until Dec. 17th. This aspect gives us an opportunity to bring a greater focus and commitment to our individual and collective healing process.
If we are now able to take responsibility, we can perhaps come to see the reality of the “masculine wounding” we carry — and also what we identify with, when it comes to our various “personas”. Seeing more clearly what is real — and what isn’t — makes it easier to process and heal.
Compassion and commitment towards ourselves are key. That said, our experiences and interactions with others can be profound teachers at this time, if we let them.
If we are willing to face up to our responsibilities, follow the rules, and have humility, we can gain a greater sense of who we are in relationship to others and in the world. Another major theme of this aspect: learning to let go of regrets.
This combo also presents an opportunity to connect with others, and engage in a healing process that can bring progress in our various communities, maybe even world-wide. We are more powerful than we realize, especially when we come together
If you can, journal on these questions, and share your answers with those like-minded people in your various communities:
What roles that I identify with need my love and understanding? What if my personal limitations were my main drivers for taking creative or unusual approaches? Could I allow myself and others to be human? What if taking a compassionate approach towards myself and others actually made for more fulfilling connections? What has been my experience with all of this so far and where could I gain through learning more?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 6-11 degrees of Aquarius, Aries, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Capricorn (Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn)
Friday late evening, at 9:12pm EST, the Moon moves into detail-oriented, practical Virgo, where it will journey until next week, Monday early morning; turning our focus toward the practical and wholesome. We are generous with our time/services and we love to help others. We also have a fondness for science and anything that makes sense in our world — things and knowledge we can apply and use.
Health might also come into focus at this time. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.) align with our long-term goals.
Saturday, Nov. 27th:
Saturday, the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day (see Friday late evening for details).
Saturday early morning, we are being asked to stretch and grow — to undertake a process of adjusting our thinking. You may feel a little scatter-brained or all over the map. As best as you can, stay flexible — and don’t be too hard on yourself. (Moon in Virgo squares Mercury in Sagittarius, exact at 5:27am EST)
Saturday morning, at 7:28am EST, the last Quarter Moon in 5.5 degrees of Virgo becomes exact. We started to feel this aspect build from the moment the Moon entered Virgo Friday late evening. The Moon in detail-oriented, helpful and practical Virgo makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius.
This may bring challenges; however, it also energizes us to face what demands completion or change. This Moon phase brings us closer to Dec. 4th, which will bring a powerful New Moon (Solar Eclipse) in Sagittarius.
With this particular last Quarter Moon, rather than starting major new projects, it serves us to take a look at what was started around the time of the last Eclipse — in this case, around June 10th. We now have about a week to wrap those projects up. What — if anything — needs last-minute adjustments? What have you discovered since June 10th? What did it mean for you?
As best as you can, find creative solutions for anything that comes up (whether internally, or with others).
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 3-8 degrees of Virgo, Sagittarius, Gemini, or Pisces? If so, you will feel this month’s last Quarter Moon quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer, since the Sun rules Leo and the Moon rules Cancer.
Saturday afternoon, calls for some inner adjustments. We feel uneasy or awkward and need to make some adjustments. Making these adjustments demands we develop inner awareness around some very different urges: on the one hand, the desire to heal our relationship with the inner masculine (assertiveness/anger, leadership, taking actions) — and on the other, the need to tend to our daily work or health routines.
We also feel nudged toward taking responsibility, and making a commitment to society, or to any humanitarian cause that will create a sustainable future for all. Given the Moon in Virgo becomes the Focus Point of a Yod here, pay close attention to your daily routines and ask: Where could I use 5% more clarity? 5% more discernment? Where do I need to take a closer look at what works and what doesn’t? (Moon in Virgo quincunxes Chiron in Aries & Saturn in Aquarius, exact at 1:22pm & 1:30pm EST)
Saturday evening, we are invited to connect with like-minded people and learn something new about our unique talents or value in the world. We are able to better connect to anything that requires attention to detail. We might also perhaps implement revolutionary health routines or other systems in our day to day life that support our values and make life more enjoyable. (Moon in Virgo trines Uranus in Taurus, exact at 7:18pm EST)
Sunday, Nov. 28th:
Sunday, the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day (see Friday late evening for details).
Sunday evening, at 7:02pm EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for almost 9 hours, until 3:55am EST (Monday, Nov. 29th, very early morning). Use this intuitive time to empower each other around earthly issues and support each other in practical ways. Your attention to detail is enhanced; you might implement new health routines or other systems that support your long-term goals.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Sunday evening until very early morning Monday ahead of time.
Sunday late evening, a Sun/Mercury alignment in7 degrees of Sagittarius becomes exact at 11:39pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Wednesday night on; and it will remain strong until next week, Friday night (Dec. 3rd). This aspect indicates a confident mind and an analytical approach to life. Intelligence and communication abilities are strong at this time; however, we may not listen as well as the other speaks — we might be too busy thinking about what to say next.
With this alignment taking place in Sagittarius, we may feel particularly rushed or impatient, but it may not always serve us to get stuck on being “right” or insisting on things going faster.
We want an active role in communications — it’s very hard for us to passively listen and absorb information right now. What we say or write now has impact; so, as best as you can, choose your words wisely. If people hung on your every word, what would you say then? What would you hold back from saying?
Our opinions are strong and our thinking independent — and we’re proud of both — our egos may therefore get bruised if we don’t feel “heard”. As best as you can, express yourself fully, knowing that others may have a different opinion and that’s ok.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 4-11 degrees of Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo, Pisces? If so, you will be more affected by this alignment. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo, Gemini or Virgo (the Sun rules Leo; Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo)
And…
A heads up for next Monday (Nov. 29th): the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo and VoC until 3:55am EST, at which time it moves into harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra, where it will journey until next week, Wednesday morning (Dec. 1st). In the morning, a harmonious Mars/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 9:10am EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Wednesday evening on; and it will remain strong until next week, Friday evening (Dec. 3rd). In the evening, a harmonious Mercury/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 9:41pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Saturday evening on; and it will remain strong until next week, Wednesday evening (Dec. 1st) on. More about all the details in next week’s forecast : )
