November 9th – 15th | Astrologer Coach Sonja Francis

A Time of Personal & Collective Growth — Forecast for Nov. 9th – 15th

This week’s headline items: Mars is still exalted all week (stationing); Mercury changes signs (again) from Libra to Scorpio on Tuesday late afternoon; the Balsamic Moon phase begins on Wednesday evening; Neptune starts to slow down (stationing) on Thursday; the third Jupiter/Pluto conjunction of the year becomes exact Thursday afternoon; the Mars Retrograde ends late on Friday evening and starts its post-Shadow phase; the New Moon/Super Moon in Scorpio becomes exact on Saturday night/Sunday very early morning.

There will be four Moon VoC phases this week: Monday morning (for almost 2.5 hours), Wednesday early morning (for a little over 5 hours), Friday morning (for almost 5 hours), and Sunday morning (for a little over 4.5hours).

Before we get to this week’s forecast, I’d like to mention:

If you missed my Forecasting Forum… and still would like to learn how the upcoming planetary movements in November are impacting you personally… feel free to watch the mp4-video presentation about Mars in Aries & Neptune in Pisces Exalted, Nov. 2020″ — as it relates to your own Birth Chart…

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, Nov. 9th:

Monday, the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Leo. It will journey there until 8:30am EST. We may lack objectivity and struggle with backing down or compromising.

We all love to be admired — or at the very least acknowledged — for our greatness 🙂 So hand out some compliments — let people know how proud you are of them, tell them how much you love them. Come from the heart in this and all other things… be honest and authentic, as best you can.

Fun, games, and romance are a big part of this energy as well. You might also enjoy spending time with little ones. If there are no actual children around, how about getting in touch with your “inner child” — it’s definitely easier for the next two days. What are you most grateful for today? What would be heaps and heaps of fun? What would be so much fun, you let out a tiny squeak, just thinking of it?

Monday at 6:05am EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for almost 2.5 hours until 8:30am EST. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to have fun connecting with others one-on-one, collaborating on things that are both mentally stimulating, and joyful.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday morning ahead of time.

Monday at 8:30am EST, the Moon moves into detail-oriented, practical Virgo, where it will journey until Wednesday late morning; turning our focus toward the practical and wholesome. We are generous with our time/services and we love to help others. We also have a fondness for science and anything that makes sense in our world — things and knowledge we can apply and use.

Health might come also into focus at this time. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.) align with our long-term goals.

Monday late morning, a Venus/Mars opposition becomes exact at 11:08am EST. We started to feel this opposition from Friday afternoon on; it will be strong until Wednesday evening. We are becoming more aware of a need to balance and integrate our masculine and feminine energies from within. Some level of competitiveness, anger, frustration, or angst could be present in some of our relationships with the opposite sex at this time.

Something that is definitely key right now is expressing our passion in a way that is compatible with our values. If you find yourself in a love-hate bind with someone, simply ask yourself: What would “Love” do right now?

Think back to late Aug. 2019, when Venus was conjunct Mars in Virgo: What seeds were planted back then? Did you change how you access your feminine and masculine energies? You are now aware of what you have (and haven’t) integrated since then… Do you like what you see? Is there more room for integration?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (MC) or personal planets in 12-18 degrees of Libra, Aries, Capricorn or Cancer? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Aries (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Mars is the ruler of Aries)

Monday night, a harmonious Sun/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 12:11am EST. We started to feel this aspect from last week Friday evening (Nov. 6th) on; it will remain strong until this Thursday late evening. This aspect could be tremendously supportive when it comes to dissolving what no longer serves us.

Our intuition, imagination, and inspiration all seem to be “zeroed in”. We go beyond “tolerance”, to lovingly embrace differences in others, and give where it’s needed with open hearts and hands. All of this also feeds into any creative and spiritual endeavors that start around this time.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career point (or one or more personal planets) in 15-21 degrees of Scorpio, Pisces or Cancer? If so, you will…

Do you have your Ascendant, Career point (or one or more personal planets) in 15-21 degrees of Scorpio, Pisces or Cancer? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Pisces (the Sun rules Leo; Neptune is the ruler of Pisces).

Tuesday, Nov. 10th:

Tuesday, the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day (see Monday morning for details).

Tuesday late morning, calls for some inner adjustments; we are invited to develop an inner awareness around two very different urges: on the one hand, the desire to engage in personal projects and cover new ground — and on the other, the need to tend to our daily routines, observing what works and what doesn’t, as well as being of service to others.

Tuesday afternoon, we seek a balance between head and heart, facts and imagination, reason and intuition/compassion. That said, if you can achieve that balance, it’s a great day for being of service.

Tuesday late afternoon, at 4:55pm EST, Mercury changes signs from harmony-seeking Libra to passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, where it will journey until Dec. 1st (this is the planet’s second entrance into Scorpio within the last two months, due to its Retrograde phase). During these last two months, we have had the ability to focus on what’s most important to us on a deep emotional level.

We can get to the very heart of any matter at this time (especially through conversation). We are more passionate about giving valid advice or support. We are not satisfied with superficial connections right now — it’s all or nothing. For that reason, our mental processes could get a little obsessive. We may also be more suspicious and expect bad intentions.

It’s a time that favors reading or writing about intrigue, mystery, and hidden motives. Mercury in Scorpio loves anything that challenges the brain and therefore we are often interested in what makes people tick during this time.

To find out more about Mercury’s journey through Scorpio, and its 3-week Retrograde phase in October-November, feel free to get my webinar on that subject, here. Star Members, feel free to watch this webinar again (check your email for the link of the mp4-video presentation)

Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo? If so, you will feel a greater need for investigating deeper emotional issues or motives. Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Scorpio? If so, you will most likely feel more chatty and mentally alert for the next 4-weeks.

Tuesday late evening: if you are awake, this could be a great time to clarify what’s important to us. Ask yourself: What works for me in my daily routines? What doesn’t? What are my expectations or attitudes towards those things? What new vantage point might show me how to easily implement my business goals?

Also, Tuesday late evening, we can potentially accomplish quite a bit: The Moon in Virgo makes a harmonious aspect to Pluto in Capricorn. Virgo and Capricorn are Earth signs, so getting down to business and focusing on the task at hand takes less effort than normal. We are able to tackle anything that requires attention to detail and maybe even implement health routines or other systems that support our long-term goals.

Wednesday, Nov. 11th:

Wednesday, the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo until 11:09am EST (see Monday morning for details).

Wednesday at 5:58am EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for a little over 5 hours until 11:09am EST. Use this intuitive time to look at the details, and focus on what’s sitting right in front of you that demands to be taken care of, so you can get to the next phase of accomplishment. As best as you can, look at all the practical implications; slow down and take your time if you want to manifest something that can stand the test of time — rushing things will most likely backfire right now.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Wednesday morning ahead of time.

Wednesday at 11:09am EST, the Moon moves into harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra, where it will journey until Friday late morning. The energy of the Libra Moon helps us be naturally courteous and diplomatic; we are more polite at this time, as we seek the approval of others.

We very much want to maintain equal, fair relationships at this time and are therefore open to making compromises and negotiating — these next two days are a great time for mediation — but our need for peace and our aversion to direct conflict could pull us to “yes” more easily than we might like.

We may also be able see both sides of the equation so well that we can’t make decisions. As best as you can, find an inner balance with this and communicate what needs to be said with grace and charm — even if it’s “No” 😉 One last quick note: this is also a great time for anything to do with visual arts.

Wednesday evening, around 7:25pm EST, the Balsamic Moon phase begins when the Moon reaches 5 degrees of Libra. This lasts until Saturday night/Sunday very early morning, when the New Moon/SuperMoon in Scorpio becomes exact (more on that later this week… however, feel free to watch my New Moon video now — click here.

We are being asked to slow down and get quiet, so we can listen to our intuition. For some of us, this might be a stretch. As best as you can: stay grounded, take a deep breath and exhale any tensions.

Rather than starting something brand-new, put all that energy into completing existing projects. This is also a great time for letting go of whatever no longer serves us. What if you could hear the voice of your inner wisdom? What might it be saying?

Also, Wednesday evening, a somewhat challenging Venus/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 7:31pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Tuesday evening on, it will remain strong until Thursday evening. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward — and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed in order to see what needs adjusting.

We may have an unrealistic sense of our ability to relate right now and be attracted to others based on inaccurate perceptions — and on incorrect appraisals of who we are and where we are going. We might also get confused when we aren’t able to connect with others in harmonious ways. As we show genuine self-acceptance, and trusting our connection to the divine, our range of expression for love increases.

It is also worthwhile to look more carefully at how our ideas are received by others. Can we involve them in our dreams? As best as you can, slow down: “If a thing is worth having, it’s worth waiting for.” Just for right now, could you simply have faith that everything will align eventually?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 17-19 degrees of Libra or Pisces? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Pisces (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Neptune is the ruler of Pisces).

Thursday, Nov. 12th:

Thursday, the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra all day (see Wednesday late afternoon for details).

Thursday late afternoon, a Jupiter/Pluto alignment in almost 23 degrees of Capricorn becomes exact at 4:39pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Oct. 19th, on; and it will remain strong until Nov. 29th. This is the third of three Jupiter/Pluto alignments this year. The first one was exact on April 4th, the second one was exact on June 30th. These conjunctions start a new 13-year cycle.

Think back to March/April and June/July 2020 and ask yourself: What “forced” me to look beyond my current understanding of social structures to a larger perspective so I can grow and evolve? Where was I called upon to look deeper at my belief systems and social standing? How did I feel about my connection to the collective experience? How did I deal with my fears and other feelings (such as grief or rage)? What situation in my life required a “rebirth”? How did I want to better myself?  How can I now take that to the next level?

The last time these particular planets connected was in Dec. 2007, in 28º of Sagittarius; the last cycle to occur in the sign of Capricorn began in Feb. 1771 and the one before that started in Jan. 1522. — note also that there are larger cycles within the smaller cycles.

This aspect invites us to see the bigger picture in our attempt to regain control over our collective experience. This will likely spark major revelations and reformations, as fundamental assumptions are challenged, hypocrisies exposed, and priorities reordered. Benefits may come now through those in authority or the government. It can also be a time of personal and collective growth and expansion.

This can also be an ambitious time, when desire for success or power is especially strong; the ability to sway or persuade could be enhanced, especially when it comes to those in positions of authority (for better or for worse). One of the most positive uses of this transit is… To read the whole article about the Jupiter/Pluto alignment in Capricorn, click here.

We also talked about this aspect — in connection with our own Birth charts — in my webinar: “Saturn in Aquarius, Jupiter-Pluto conjunction in Capricorn. Click here to purchase this 95min. webinar (if you haven’t seen it yet).

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 20-26 degrees of Capricorn, Cancer, Aries, or Libra? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Sagittarius or Scorpio (Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius; Pluto rules Scorpio).

On Thursday, Neptune starts to slow down (and will appear to move more slowly through the sky until Dec. 18th); it is getting ready to go direct again on Nov. 28th, when the 5-month Retrograde phase it entered on June 23rd comes to an end.

A planet’s energies are more exalted during it’s “station period”; this has even more weight for an outer planet, as they move more slowly and their stations last much longer. This Neptune station is particularly strong, since it occurs in Pisces, its own sign.

Neptune represents things like universal love, our inner divinity, spirituality, inspiration, compassion, faith — plus creative and imaginative realms such as music or film — while the shadow side is confusion, illusion and escapism of all kinds. We start to be aware of all those energies more fully in our lives.

This awareness helps us to connect more fully to those energies as they exist within us. We can then see where we need to either embrace them more fully, or connect to them in a healthy way, that doesn’t involve getting lost in the murky lower vibrations of their expression.

We also talked about this — in connection with our own Birth charts — in my webinar: “Mars in Aries & Neptune in Pisces Exalted”. Click here to purchase this 95min. webinar (if you haven’t seen it yet).

Some of us will feel the effects of this station more than others: those of us with a Pisces Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant) — and those of us with personal planets and points in 16-20 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini or Sagittarius.

Friday, Nov. 13th:

Friday, the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra until 11:19am EST (see Wednesday late afternoon for details).

Friday at 6:32am EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for almost 5 hours until 11:19am EST. Do your best to use this intuitive time to make some adjustments in your life and find creative solutions to seemingly unsolvable situations. Make space both for looking for solid foundations under any long-term goals currently underway, and for ways to create win-win outcomes for one-on-one relationships.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Friday morning ahead of time.

Friday at 11:19am EST, the Moon moves into passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, where it will journey until Sunday late morning. We feel things deeply and have “X-Ray Vision” and “Bullshit-Smelling Abilities” 😉

Emotional authenticity is extremely important to us at this time; anything less than 100% emotional honesty could be perceived as flat-out dishonest. Once we feel safe trusting someone, we want to merge with them, preferably forever… as long as our trust is never betrayed.

The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power. This occurs by a process of subtraction — it urges us to let go of whatever disempowers us. It’s therefore an excellent time to look at “old” fears, limiting habits or emotional attachments, especially those stemming from past traumas.

Moon in Scorpio tends to run right over ambiguity — it’s “in or out”, “with us or against us”, “love me or leave me”. It can therefore be stormy — a cold winter storm, or a torrid tropical storm of passion, depending on how we “work” the energies 🙂

Manipulation and paranoia are the lower vibrations of this aspect, so as best you can, be straightforward — act in good faith and assume it in others. Best of all, be truly present to the fluctuations of your feelings — no matter if they’re “polite” or “timely”.

Feelings aren’t facts, but they are information — and heeding them will help you embrace all of who you are.

Know thyself — and love thyself — you shall be set free. Remember: Love connects us to the Power within; Fear causes “Force” to show up — and that’s ultimately what disempowers us and others. This Moon placement starts the build up towards the New Moon (exact Saturday night/Sunday very early morning).

Friday evening, at 7:36pm EST, Mars comes to a halt at 15 degrees of Aries — changing directions after its 9-week Retrograde phase. We were called to reassess our personal goals, relationship to the masculine (assertiveness, going after something, courage, speed, aggression), our passions in life, and what we identify with or as — and also to look at what we’ve been doing or actively pursuing since July 25th. What have you discovered since then? What needed to be reconsidered or readjusted?

We are now ready to move forward with anything that happened between late July and mid November — and we have plenty of energy to do what needs to be done. Please keep in mind that, even though this planet’s energy is now direct, it will still move slower than usual until Dec. 1st and its energy is therefore exalted. As best as you can, be aware of any tendency toward physical and emotional pushing, exhaustion, or impulsive behaviors.

We also talked about this — in connection with our own Birth charts — in my webinar: “Mars in Aries & Neptune in Pisces Exalted”. Click here to purchase this 95min. webinar (if you haven’t seen it yet).

Is your Sun-sign or Ascendant in Aries? Or perhaps you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 13-17 degrees of Aries, Libra, Capricorn, or Cancer? If so, you are more affected by this Station phase.

Saturday, Nov. 14:

Saturday, the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio all day (see Friday late morning for details).

Saturday afternoon, an opportune Sun/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 2:48pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from Thursday evening on; it will remain strong until next week Monday evening (Nov. 16th). This is an opportunity to bring a deeper emotional connection to whatever needs restructuring or rebuilding.

It’s also an opportunity to notice how obsessed we’ve become about manifesting something real — and to let go of fears connected to our long-term goals. Remember: an opportunity is not automatically given to us; we have to make something of it.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 21-25 degrees of Scorpio, Capricorn, Pisces or Virgo? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Scorpio (the Sun rules Leo; Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio)

Saturday late evening, an opportune Sun/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 10:57pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from this Thursday evening on; it will remain strong until next week Monday afternoon (Nov. 16th).

We might want to take advantage of the opportunities this aspect provides — it’s an excellent time for more empowerment and authentic connections, having fun and boosting our self-confidence. In fact, we may well feel particularly vital and confident — and inner optimism can bring rewards.

Humor can be a big part of this aspect too: We are able to laugh wholeheartedly, and we see lots of possibility in our lives, especially in our business relationships, or long-term commitments. This could bring a healthy shift of attitude toward our long-term goals — whether personal or business.

Imagine you have a special lens which showed you the “bigger picture”… What would your long-term goals look like when you gazed through it?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (MC) or any personal planets in 21-25 degrees of Scorpio, Capricorn, Virgo or Pisces? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Sagittarius (the Sun rules Leo; Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius).

Saturday night/Sunday very early morning, at 12:07am EST, the Moon aligns with the Sun in 23 degrees of Scorpio, beginning a new Moon cycle. This New Moon brings us closer to the beginning of Eclipse season, which starts on Nov. 20th — my next Full Moon video will be about the Lunar Eclipse in Gemini.

This New Moon is also a SuperMoon. “SuperMoons” occur when the Moon becomes either Full or New while unusually close to the Earth and are therefore more powerful. They generate greater gravitational and electromagnetic forces and therefore increased effects on our physical, mental, and emotional bodies. This also facilitates greater shifts in consciousness. This is the third of three Super New Moons in a row.

With the Super New Moon in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, our focus is directed to our intimate relationships, and our deepest desires and fears; if you’d like to learn more about this Lunation, check out my video on the subject, here

Scorpio is the second water sign of the zodiac, so it relates not only to the depths of our own psyche, but also to the ecstasies and traumas of relationships. Before we jump in and talk about the Scorpio energy and how to understand it better and connect to it, let me mention that with this Super New Moon we are also dealing with two exalted planets, both moving much slower at this time:

Mars, the traditional ruler of Scorpio, is currently in Aries and still exalted due to its station; it just started to change directions again on Nov. 13th (ending its 9-week Retrograde phase) — and Neptune is also exalted over the next several weeks, as it is preparing to end its 5-months Retrograde phase — for more on those planetary movements, in connection with our own birth charts, get the “Mars in Aries & Neptune in Pisces Exalted”. Click here to purchase this 95min. webinar (if you haven’t seen it yet).

Star Members: check your email for the link to the mp4-video recording and enjoy watching it! I sent it out on Nov. 8th late evening 😉

In connection with Mars, ask yourself: What has come up for me since July 25th around self-identity, aggression, or personal passions? What, if anything, have I already revised, reprocessed, or redone since Mars went retrograde back on Sept. 9th? How will this new connection to myself, and the things I identify with, impact the next steps in my life?

In connection with Neptune, ask yourself: What have I learned since June 23rd about trusting the flow of life and my intuitive voice? My intuitive sensing? How might this understanding help me interact more from a “loving heart”? How might this impact our moving forward collectively?

The gift of compassion and forgiveness, the gift of an open heart that seeks to understand, is our gift to the world and to the collective journey — even when it is so hard sometimes to wrap our minds around how others react or behave in certain situations.

The Station phase of Neptune allows us to fully see how an open, forgiving heart can shift our experience and our interactions with others; ask yourself: What’s in my present awareness? What asks for my attention when it comes to resting, trusting, and allowing?

What’s confronting me around a long-term dream of mine? When I tune into myself, what do I feel connected to? What if I tune into life itself?

Neptune in Pisces has been in a Square to the current Moon Nodes in Gemini-Sagittarius since mid-September 2020, and this will continue until late February 2021. Its current Station phase will give this Square more weight between Nov. 12th and December 18th.

Notice when your busy mind distracts you from the present moment, when your beliefs or assumptions take you on a detour, away from what you sense is true in this moment, and when “being right” becomes more important than “being connected” or “being heartfelt”.

When you notice any of the above, ask yourself: How might a moment of silence bring me back to what’s here now? Might it allow me to drop back into my heart? Might it support me in finding a heart-connection with myself and others?

Now, let’s talk about Scorpio and some of the other aspects in this New Moon chart: Scorpio is associated with… To read the whole article and get all the Coaching Questions for this month’s New Moon, click here.

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 21-25 degrees of Scorpio, Taurus, Leo or Aquarius? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle. Intentions are best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact — and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase. So this month, the best time to set intentions would be any time between 12:07am Saturday night/Sunday very early morning until 6:13am Sunday morning (Nov. 15th) ; then again from 10:47am (Sunday morning) until 12:07am Monday night/Tuesday very early morning (Nov. 17th) — New York Time/US Eastern Time

If you live in a timezone other than EDT (that’s the US East Coast time zone), feel free to join my Facebook Fan-page or follow me on twitter. I will be posting reminders on Sunday early morning and afternoon/evening, Monday throughout the day and night, to let you know when it is time to set your intentions 😉

Sunday, Nov. 15th:

Sunday, the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio until 10:47am EST (see Friday late morning for details).

Sunday early morning, a somewhat challenging Mercury/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 4:35am EST. We started to feel this aspect from this Saturday early morning on, and it remains strong until next week, Monday early morning (Nov. 16th). This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward — and we need to make a choice… so we need to develop inner awareness.

This boils down to feeling “stumped” — we feel like we can’t get our head around things, or make decisions.  As best as you can, be kind and compassionate to yourself. Ask yourself: Could I hang out with the inner discomfort this is stirring up, just for right now?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 4-6 degrees of Scorpio or Aries? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo).

Sunday at 6:13am EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for a little over 4.5 hours until 10:47am EST. Use this brief intuitive time as an opportunity to dig deeper — and also to focus on practicalities and long-term plans. As best as you can, take this 4.5 hour window to bring a sense of empowerment and focus to your business dealings, release any fears or traumas that keep you stuck in the past, and deepen your connection to what you feel deeply passionate about.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Sunday morning ahead of time.

If you haven’t set your New Moon Intentions yet, Sunday after 10:47am EST and Monday all day is still time to do so during the most potent time… If you’d like some input on how to do that, check out this article — to (re-)watch my New Moon video: click here

Sunday at 10:47am EST, the Moon moves into optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, where it will journey until next week Tuesday late morning (Nov. 17th). We’re strongly motivated to explore and learn. We’re not likely to be big fans of routine — diversity and new adventures work best at this time — we’re also physically restless and need to burn that off with activity and physical exercise.

We tend to feel more open, optimistic and inspired — but we also have a high degree of independence, which means we’d rather inspire others to do things our way, than take orders. Inspiring others could come easier than normal, as we can see the bigger picture, leaving us confident that others will agree with us, once they see what we see.

As best as you can, speak your truth without assuming that everyone is on the same page as you. Improvisation works well for us at this time, as we are spontaneous and love living on the edge — just watch out you aren’t overdoing or overstating things.

Sunday afternoon, a challenging Venus/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 2:43pm EST. We start to feel this aspect build from this Friday morning on, it will remain strong until next week Wednesday afternoon (Nov. 18th). The Universe is asking us to stretch and grow.

Venus represents our relationships and that which we most value; these areas may undergo major transformations. This aspect challenges us to find meaning in our life through partnerships. We must now uncover the deeper layer of our life. With Pluto in the mix, social interactions could be intense.

You may see changes in financial status or relationships. In the latter, things erupt that have been brewing beneath the surface for some time; this may prove disruptive: As best you can, empower rather than disempower. We may become obsessed with our commitments and our partner during this time.

We may also experience Pluto through our partner, experiencing manipulation and controlling behaviors; we must be especially wary of resisting change and holding onto negative attachments. It’s time to let go of destructive attachments and connections. How can we grow and evolve in our relationships? Is there a relationship that we need to grow and evolve out of?

This aspect could also express itself through sexual tension; there is a strong desire for love in its physical expression. However, keep your standards high, so you can come upon a love that fulfills all your needs — definitely don’t start a relationship with “just anyone”, in order to avoid being alone.

Remember to be true to your own values; wait for someone with whom you can have a relationship based on trust, love and a genuine desire for intimacy — and work on being worth finding, in the meantime 🙂 As best as you can, stay grounded in love, not fear. Stay flexible and open-minded. As best as you can, nurture yourself; make sure you have everything you need to be able to come from a place of inner strength & empowerment.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 20-26 Libra, Capricorn, Aries or Cancer? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Scorpio (Venus being the ruler of Taurus and Libra, while Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio).

And…

A heads up for next Monday (Nov. 16th): the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day. Monday very early morning, a challenging Venus/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 12:33am EST. We started to feel this aspect from Friday afternoon on; it will remain strong until next week Wednesday evening (Nov. 18th). The Moon in Sagittarius trines Mars in Aries, exact at 11:21am EST and it squares Neptune in Pisces, exact at 4:07pm EST. More about all the details in next week’s forecast 🙂
