Let Your Intuition Guide You
This week’s headline items: there are no longer any stationing (exalted) planets in the sky; the last Quarter Moon in Leo becomes exact on Thursday afternoon; Mars changes signs from Libra to Scorpio on Saturday late morning.
I should also note that Daylight Savings Time ends in Europe and Great Britain early Sunday morning, but continues in the US.
There will be three Moon VoC phases this week: Monday late morning (for almost 7 hours); Thursday very early morning (3 hours); and Saturday very early morning (almost 11 hours).
Before we get to this week’s forecast, I’d like to mention:

Now, this week’s Forecast…
Monday, October 25th:
Monday, the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini until 5pm EDT. Until then, we like to learn, connect and interact as much as possible. “Busy” feels good: connecting online, on the phone, or sharing face-to-face, preferably multi-tasking all the way…
The one thing we can do without is boredom: If our mind is not engaged in some way, we might as well curl up and play dead 🙂
Monday late morning, at 10:11am EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for almost 7 hours, until 5pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to connect with others, socialize, and share information with them.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to pre-plan Monday late morning until the early evening.
Monday at 5pm EDT, the Moon moves into protective, nurturing Cancer, where it will journey until Thursday early morning. With this Moon placement, we are more sensitive to what people say and therefore our feelings are more easily hurt — so be kind to yourself and others. Self-Care is key for the next two days 😉
Emotional safety is important to us as well; we like connecting to the familiar and we enjoy nurturing ourselves and others — home and family call to us, for instance. Make sure though, that your glass is filled before letting others drink from it, otherwise you might start to feel…

Make sure though, that your glass is filled before letting others drink from it, otherwise you might start to feel drained and resentful.
Tuesday, Oct. 26th:
Tuesday, the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer all day (see Monday early evening for details).
Tuesday late morning/early afternoon, we are invited to make adjustments and (as best as we can) find creative solutions to seemingly insoluble situations. Make space both for healing around anger or self-identity and for taking care of emotional or family issues. (Moon in Cancer squares Chiron in Aries, exact at 12:33pm EDT)
Tuesday evening, brings an opportunity to connect to family (or friends that feel like family) and create breakthroughs around things that we enjoy through our five senses (e.g. food). This may also be a good time to find a unique or global approach on financial matters that bring us a sense of emotional security. (Moon in Cancer sextiles Uranus in Taurus, exact at 7:37pm EDT)
Tuesday late evening, a challenging Venus/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 9:06pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Saturday evening (Oct. 23rd) on; and it will remain strong until Friday evening. We can be confused, unrealistic, or overly idealistic around love and money — so it’s best to wait until the transit is over, before making big moves in these areas — if you make long-term financial investments, buy or sell big-ticket items, or start brand-new relationships, it’s likely you will not see things as they truly are.
We are actually being asked to have faith; to let our intuition guide us in money and love — if we are able to do this, we will grow through it. As best as you can, be compassionate with yourself and others during these 5 days — it might also help to know that relationships and endeavors of a spiritual or artistic nature can move forward at this time.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 18-24 degrees of Sagittarius, Pisces, Gemini or Virgo? If so, you are more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Pisces (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Neptune rules Pisces).
Tuesday night/Wednesday very early morning, requires adjustments and a need to find creative solutions to seemingly insoluble situations. Make space both for fair communication and collaboration, and for taking care of any emotional or family issues. (Moon in Cancer squares Mercury in Libra, exact at 1:10am EDT)
Wednesday, Oct. 27th:
Wednesday, the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer all day (see Monday early evening for details).
Wednesday late morning, we are in a state of “flow” and emotional connection to others; spiritual and creative endeavors are favored. (Moon in Cancer trines Neptune in Pisces, exact at 10:48am EDT)
Wednesday early afternoon, requires some inner adjustments. We feel uneasy or awkward and need to make a choice, one that demands we develop inner awareness around two very different urges: on the one hand, the desire to connect with others and have an adventure — and on the other hand, the need to nurture ourselves and stay in touch with our feeling body. (Moon in Cancer quincunxes Venus in Sagittarius, exact at 12:04pm EDT)
Wednesday afternoon, we are invited to make some internal adjustments — we may want to stay in our comfort zone, surrounded by the familiar, but may simultaneously want to explore our visions for the future with like-minded people (online or in-person). (Moon in Cancer quincunxes Jupiter in Aquarius, exact at 2:16pm EDT)
Wednesday evening, we may take an all-or-nothing attitude toward others; this could drive some tension or oppositional behaviors… As best you can, remain flexible and practice self-care — take good care of your emotional and physical body — that way, you’ll remain able to empower yourself and others. (Moon in Cancer opposes Pluto in Capricorn, exact at 6:08pm EDT)
Thursday, Oct. 28th:
Thursday, the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer until 5:07am EDT (see Monday early evening for details).
Thursday very early morning, at 2:02am EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for 3 hours, until 5:07am EDT. Use this intuitive time to make adjustments and (as best as you can) find creative solutions to seemingly insoluble situations.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. If you are awake during this intuitive time, you may want to pre-plan Wednesday night until Thursday early morning.
Thursday, at 5:07am EDT, the Moon moves into fun and attention-loving Leo, where it will journey until Saturday afternoon. We have a chance to appreciate ourselves and our lives — and to connect to the heart.
Hand out as many compliments as possible, they will be deeply appreciated 🙂 Fun, games and romance are a big part of this energy. You might also enjoy spending time with little ones. What are you most grateful for today? What would be heaps of fun? What would be so much fun, you squeak just thinking about it?
This Moon placement also starts the build up towards the last Quarter Moon (exact later this afternoon)
Thursday afternoon, an opportune Venus/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 3:15pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Tuesday evening on; and it will remain strong until Saturday evening. We have an opportunity to grow in our social and personal relationships at this time. Humor and caring play a big role in our interactions with others.
We can call upon tolerance, optimism and co-operation when dealing with loved ones now. Financially speaking, things are “on the up”; we may have opportunities now to expand our pocketbooks, if we make sound decisions that are in the interest of a larger community or a cause that we espouse.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 20-25 degrees of Sagittarius, Aquarius, Libra or Aries? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Sagittarius (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius).
Also, on Thursday afternoon, at 4:05pm EDT, the last Quarter Moon in 5.5º of Leo becomes exact. We started to feel this aspect build from the moment the Moon entered Leo, earlier today. The Moon in fun and attention-loving Leo makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in private, all-or-nothing Scorpio. This may bring challenges; however, it also energizes us to face what demands completion or change.
This Moon phase brings us closer to Nov. 4th, which will bring the New Moon in Scorpio. During the last Quarter Moon, we are better served by reviewing those projects we began around the last New Moon — in this case, that would be Oct. 6th — as opposed to launching new ones. Out of those projects, what needs last-minute adjustments? What did you discover since then? What did it mean for you?
As best as you can, find creative solutions for anything that comes up (whether internally, or with others).
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 3-8 degrees of Leo, Scorpio, Taurus, or Aquarius? If so, you will feel this month’s last Quarter Moon quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer since the Sun rules Leo and the Moon rules Cancer.
Friday, Oct. 29th:
Friday, the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo all day (see Thursday early morning for details).
Friday early morning, we may feel pulled in two quite different directions: On the one hand, we experience a need for connecting with our inner child-energy (creative self-expressions and joy), on the other hand, we want to make space for pursuing our financial vision — and we also want to break free from outdated value systems.
As such, we may have to address what we value, both in others, and in ourselves (which informs our self-worth); as best as you can, make adjustments and find creative solutions when it comes to these energies. (Moon in Leo squares Uranus in Taurus, exact at 6:25am EDT) – post at 4:25am EDT.
Friday evening, we have an opportunity to have fun connecting with others one-on-one, collaborating on things that are both mentally stimulating, and joyful. (Moon in Leo sextiles Mercury in Libra, exact at 6:32pm EDT)
Friday late evening, we are invited to make some internal adjustments. We may want to have some fun, but may also need to tune in to our intuitive inner voice. What do you hear when you get really quiet? (Moon in Leo quincunxes Neptune in Pisces, exact at 8:53pm EDT)
Saturday, Oct. 30th:
Saturday, the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo until 2:09pm EDT (see Thursday early morning for details).
Saturday very early morning, at 3:05am EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for almost 11 hours, until 2:09pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to feel excited about new adventures. You have an opportunity to connect, explore, and become part of something exciting.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to pre-plan Saturday very early morning until the afternoon.
Also, Saturday very early morning, a challenging Sun/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 5:53am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Wednesday morning on; and it will remain strong until next week, Tuesday morning (Nov. 2nd). We’re asked to stretch and grow beyond what we have previously known ourselves to be; our commitments and responsibilities towards the collective are calling us to get out of our comfort zone.
Find creative ways to honor, both, your deep, intimate connections with others, and your desire to build a vision for humanity that lasts and is sustainable. Allow for a slow and steady approach, even if life puts up roadblocks, or throws some curve-balls.
What if you just knew that you could handle whatever shows up? Would you rather build structures that are sustainable for generations to come, or take a more intimate approach when connecting with others? Would you rather achieve status in your communities (in-person or online) or have emotionally authentic and deep partnerships? What if it were a question of “and” rather than “or”?
What if you just decided to bring maturity and self-responsibility to the table when dealing with your various affiliations, even if you don’t agree all of the time?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 4-10 degrees of Scorpio, Aquarius, Taurus or Leo? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Capricorn (the Sun rules Leo; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn)
Saturday late morning, at 10:21am EDT, Mars leaves harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra and enters passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, where it will journey until Dec. 13th. The last time we experienced this transit was Nov. 19th, 2019 until Jan. 3rd, 2020. Think back to that time and ask yourself: What projects were underway? What got initiated? What actions did I take? How can I take things to the next level?
Mars in Libra is constantly striving to bring fairness to the world; Mars in Scorpio knows that life simply isn’t fair. Mars in Libra seeks the middle ground; Mars in Scorpio says “It’s black or white: Pick one!” It’s all about accepting challenges and making changes with concentrated energy and willpower.
For the next 6 weeks, we rely heavily on our gut feelings. We can see through others, could potentially exploit or (quietly but formidably) oppose them. We project cool equilibrium — but below the surface may be another story — in general, we don’t want to show our hand…
We may be attracted to sexual taboos or fantasies in which the “other” surrenders their body and will completely — and our sex appeal could perhaps be strong enough to bring that about.
Mars in Scorpio has a provocative quality to it: We might test ourselves and others. We make all kinds of rules and goals, just for the personal satisfaction that comes from achieving or mastering them. Our survival instincts are stronger; we more easily embrace our own animal nature, without guilt.
This Mars placement also starts the build up towards a powerful T-Square in Scorpio, Taurus & Aquarius… feel free to get the mp4-video presentation “Powerful T-Square: Saturn squares Mars & Uranus, Nov. 2021” — and see how this relates to your own Birth Chart…

fall in your own birth chart? - What Houses are impacted by Mars’ transit through Scorpio?

“Great explanation of the power of the T-square and how to break it all down!” — Karen W.
Star Members: check your email for the link to the mp4-video recording and enjoy watching it! I sent it out on Oct. 22nd late evening 😉
All this is especially true if you have an Aries or Scorpio Sun- or Rising-sign. Scorpios will feel unusually energized, passionate and direct — and physically stronger. Aries will feel more intensely connected to others (and to life) over the next 6 weeks 🙂
Saturday afternoon, at 2:09pm EDT, the Moon moves into detail-oriented, practical Virgo, where it will journey until next week, Monday evening; turning our focus toward the practical and wholesome. We are generous with our time/services and we love to help others. We also have a fondness for science and anything that makes sense in our world — things and knowledge we can apply and use.
Health might come also into focus at this time. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.) align with our long-term goals.
Also, on Saturday afternoon, a somewhat challenging Mercury/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 3:40pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Friday afternoon on; and it will remain strong until Sunday afternoon. This could contribute either to some mental confusion and spaciness, or the need to communicate with others from our imagination (but possibly not knowing how to achieve that).
This aspect operates more on an internal level: We feel uneasy about something, sort of “awkward” — and we need to make a choice. Sometimes, imagination and mind can run way ahead of what is actually feasible (and sensible). At these times, the grand vision is best served by trusting our inner knowingness, accepting our own idiosyncrasies as we go.
Honesty is crucial here, especially self-honesty; inner awareness is crucial to finding our inner equilibrium. Where are you looking for balance or fairness? What might be available from the perspective of “being”? Where might those overlap?
Note that I say “overlap”: Don’t look for an exact fit, this is more like two puzzle pieces that came from different jigsaw puzzles. You might keep looking at the imperfect fit and feel a nagging sense that something doesn’t make sense… and it doesn’t — it can’t. The pieces are not from the same game. Just do your best to “hang out” with the discomfort, rather than repeatedly trying to figure it out and fix it.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 19-21 degrees of Libra or Pisces? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Pisces (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Neptune rules Pisces).
Sunday, Oct. 31st:
Sunday, the Moon remains detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day (see Saturday afternoon for details).
Sunday, at 2am GMT/CET, Daylight Savings Time ends in Europe and Great Britain, so for the next week — until North America and Canada end their Daylight Savings Time as well — everyone living in the UK or Europe will have slightly different time conversions, in relationship to EDT.
Sunday early morning, is an opportunity for us to connect and go deeper — and perhaps also to take a look at our daily routines to see how empowering they are for us and our intimate relationships. (Moon in Virgo sextiles the Sun in Scorpio, exact at 4:58am EDT)
Sunday morning, calls for some inner adjustments. We feel uneasy or awkward and need to make a choice. Making this choice demands we develop inner awareness around two very different urges: on the one hand, the desire to heal our relationship with the inner masculine (assertiveness/anger, leadership, taking actions) — and on the other, the need to tend to our daily work or health routines. (Moon in Virgo quincunxes Chiron in Aries, exact at 7:19am EDT)
Sunday early afternoon, we are invited to connect with like-minded people and learn something new about our unique talents or value in the world. We are able to better connect to anything that requires attention to detail. We might also perhaps implement revolutionary health routines or other systems in our day to day life that support our values and make life more enjoyable. (Moon in Virgo trines Uranus in Taurus, exact at 1:33pm EDT)
Sunday night/Monday very early morning, a harmonious Mercury/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 12:18am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Friday evening on; and it will remain strong until next week, Tuesday evening (Nov. 2nd). Due to Mercury’s Retrograde motion in October, this is the third time in a 6-week period that this aspect has become exact. The first time was on Sept. 20th, and the second time was on Oct. 3rd.
Think back to those dates and ask yourself: What did I notice in my communications with others? Did I feel an increase in my interactions with others or my communities (both in-person or online)?
With a Mercury/Jupiter aspect, we are more optimistic — which is good, since we see the bigger picture, communicate more positively and readily inspire others.
This harmonious connection strengthens our ability to connect and collaborate with others. We are tolerant of other perspectives and ideas, naturally avoid narrow-minded thinking, and feel at ease reconnecting with people from all walks of life. We might be drawn to exploring foreign languages, cultures, and countries.
This aspect also makes for quite a “heady” and idealistic experience — it’s all about thinking big and innovating. So, ask yourself: What are my expectations or attitudes towards the collective experience? What new vantage point might show me how to reinvent myself and my vision for “my people”?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 19-26 degrees of Libra, Aquarius, or Gemini,? If so, you will feel most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Sagittarius (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Jupiter of Sagittarius).
And…
A heads up for next Monday (Nov. 1st): the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo until 7:11pm EDT. In the very early morning, a harmonious Mercury/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 12:18am EDT (see this Sunday’s post for details). Around 9am EDT, the Balsamic Moon phase begins; in the late morning, a somewhat challenging Sun/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 11:20am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Sunday late morning on; and it will remain strong until next week, Tuesday late morning; in the early afternoon, at 1pm EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for a little over 6 hours, until 7:11pm EDT; at which time, the Moon moves into harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra, where it will journey until next week, Wednesday evening. More about all the details in next week’s forecast : )
