Forgive Yourself for having a Human Moment
This week’s headline items: on Tuesday late evening, Mercury changes signs from Scorpio to Libra (still moving backwards due to its retrograde), and Venus changes signs from Virgo to Libra; Mars starts to slow down again (station) on Wednesday, preparing to end its 9-week Retrograde phase; Mercury likewise slows down again on Thursday, preparing to end its 3.5-week Retrograde phase; last but not least, the Full Moon in Taurus becomes exact on Saturday late morning.
I should also mention that Daylight Savings Time ends here in the US, very early on Sunday.
There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday evening (for 8 hours), Friday early afternoon (for a little over 5 hours), and Sunday late evening (for 7.5 hours).

Now, this week’s Forecast…
Monday, Oct. 26th:
Monday, the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day. It will journey until Wednesday early morning. This Moon placement often finds us more sensitive, intuitive, idealistic and imaginative than normal. We also have a greater capacity for compassion, sympathy and affection for all — but especially for those who suffer or can be regarded as the underdog.
But… that very idealism could also be our downfall at this time: We tend to see the best in everyone and everything, and when reality doesn’t match our idyllic vision, we might feel upset and even victimized by those harsh realities. A way out of this is to channel our idealism into spiritual or creative endeavors.
It’s also a great time for releasing fears — especially the ones based on a sense of separation — and experiencing “oneness”. Feelings tend to flow more freely; as best as you can, let them — in fact, “going with the flow” is the best way to go for the next couple of days.
Monday late morning, we get an opportunity to be very present, to connect with others and share a new vision about the Earth, or to reinvent how we connect with “the good things in life”.
As best as you can, bring a sense of flow and faith to who you are being; allow yourself to intuitively share some progressive, new ideas about what is important to you, and things that could make yours and other people’s life easier on a…

As best as you can, bring a sense of flow and faith to who you are being; allow yourself to intuitively share some progressive, new ideas about what is important to you, and things that could make yours and other people’s life easier on a very practical level.
Tuesday, Oct. 27th:
Tuesday, the creative, sensitive Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day (see Monday morning for details).
Tuesday late evening, at 8:46pm EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for 8 hours until 4:45am EDT (Wednesday early morning). Use this intuitive time to be very present — and also to focus on practicalities and long-term plans. As best as you can, focus on what’s essential and let go of the rest.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Tuesday late evening until Wednesday early morning ahead of time.
Also, Tuesday late evening, at 9:33pm EDT, Mercury re-enters relationship-oriented, harmony-seeking Libra (due to its current Retrograde phase). It will journey there until Nov. 10th. Mercury journeyed through Libra already once before: from Sept. 5th until the 27th. Think back to that time — especially from Sept. 23th until 27th: What conversations need to be revisited from that time? What did you communicate to others? What came up in your dealings with others? How about with your inner dialog?
During the next two weeks, we are more likely now to see things from multiple points of view and to think in abstractions, this helps us be objective.
We also have a strong sense of justice and look for ways to make compromises. We speak and act diplomatically; this comes from our desire for harmony, peace, win/win outcomes. We feel better when we are not pressured into making quick decisions. Very probably, the two things we will most avoid at this time are confrontations and emotional intensity.
Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo? If so, you will feel a greater need for justice and fairness. Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Libra? If so, you will most likely feel more chatty for the next 2 weeks.
Last but not least, Tuesday at 9:41pm EDT, Venus changes signs from detail-oriented, practical Virgo to harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra, where it will journey until Nov. 21st. With this placement, we prefer to show kindness, even-handedness, and a willingness to make our relationships work.
We value our relationships at this time and we prefer entering into equal partnerships. Until Nov. 21st, we can develop an idealized view of what a relationship “should” look like. We do our best to treat others fairly for the next three and a half weeks, seeking the middle ground. We are more likely to appreciate the arts, dance, beauty, entertainment and romance.
Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus? If so, you will feel more connected to your inner harmony for the next 3.5 weeks. Your heart will want to connect to others in an equal setting. If you are a Libra Sun- or Rising-sign you are going to have more love and beauty in your life for as long as Venus is in your sign.
Wednesday, Oct. 28th:
Wednesday, the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces and VoC until 4:45am EDT; at that time, the Moon moves into pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey until Friday late afternoon. Life is an adventure, we’re more open to new ideas, and have great enthusiasm for new projects. Patience is certainly not our strong suit at this time, but we can decide quickly, and act immediately.
Our independence and dynamism are important to us right now, so we may find it hard to be disciplined or accept advice at this time; in general, our responses to others tend to be more assertive or even aggressive. If you find your foot tapping, try hitting the gym, or finding other ways to burn off the body’s excess energy.
Wednesday early evening, a somewhat challenging Sun/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 5:32pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from early this Tuesday early evening on; it will remain strong until Thursday early evening. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward — and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed if we’re to see what needs adjusting.
We may feel an internal dilemma around our ability to get things done — a drop in our self-confidence and self-esteem. This could lead to us “hiding out”… which leaves us feeling strangely guilty… which leads to us behaving in weird ways… and we end up thinking “did I really just do that?”
As best as you can, be kind and compassionate with yourself — forgive yourself for having a human moment — this will support your healing process.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 5-7 degrees of Scorpio or Aries? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo (the Sun rules of Leo).
Also on Wednesday, Mars starts to slow down (station) in about 17 degrees of Aries, in preparation to go direct again on Nov. 13th (ending its 9-week Retrograde phase). The Station phase will last until December 1st. Mars represents our assertiveness, independence and “male” energy Also: new initiatives, going after one’s goals, physical actions.
During the station, these energies will be “in our face” — we become more aware of them, but we’re not necessarily able to do anything about them yet. This may be bring up frustration or even outright anger. We’re called to reassess our personal goals and passions — especially as they relate to anger and the nature of “doing” and “pursuing” (the masculine energies within us).
Ask yourself: What would readiness look like? If there was something coming towards the year, that I needed to be ready for, what might that be?
Is your Sun sign in Aries? Or do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 13-19 degrees of Aries, Libra, Capricorn, or Cancer? If so, you will feel a stronger connection to this Mars station.
Thursday, Oct. 29th:
Thursday, the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day (see Wednesday early morning for details).
Thursday afternoon, we feel energized (and impulsive) and have even greater enthusiasm for something we feel passionate about. As best as you can, be yourself without offending others.
Thursday late evening, we are invited to make adjustments and find creative solutions around the tension between our personal desires and needs, versus our need for expansion and new perspectives on a professional level and in regards to long-term goals. As best as you can, allow yourself to make space for both.
Also on Thursday, Mercury starts to slow down again (“stationing”). It’s getting ready to come to a halt, ending its 3.5-week Retrograde phase, on Tuesday of next week, Nov. 3rd (more on that next week…). The Station phase will last until Nov. 7th.
For the next 9 days (until Nov. 7th), we need to be patient with ourselves and others — especially if there is a connection with communication or transportation, and their associated technologies. This is not the best time to start anything brand-new, especially if it contains new information that needs to be processed.
We might experience delays or misunderstandings, and things tend to feel “off” or stagnant. It might be a good idea to give yourself some extra time to get ready for travel somewhere — especially if you intend to use public transportation or drive (for more details on Mercury Shadow Phases and Retrogrades, click here)
Some of us will feel the effects of the Mercury station more than others: those of us who have Gemini or Virgo as our Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant); and those of us with personal planets in 24-29 degrees of Libra, Aries, Capricorn, or Cancer.
Friday, Oct. 30th:
Friday, the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries until 5:19pm EDT (see Wednesday early morning for details).
Friday at 12:12pm EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for a little over 5 hours until 5:19pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to reexamine your various one-on-one relationships — ask yourself: How can I balance my need for self-fulfillment and independence with my desire to connect and communicate in a harmonious way? Do your best to find a balance between those two poles: What might be possible if you could integrate one with the other?
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Friday afternoon ahead of time.
Friday late afternoon/early evening, at 5:19pm EDT, the Moon moves into steady, peaceful Taurus, where it will journey until next week Monday early morning (Nov. 2nd). We love all physical comforts, prefer consistency, and would rather stick with what we know works well. In other words: change is not our favorite thing and “rushing things” goes against our grain.
What is our favorite thing for the next three days? It’s probably, slowing down and getting in touch with whatever delights our senses 😉 This Moon placement also starts the build up towards the Full Moon (exact Saturday late morning).
Saturday, Oct. 31st:
Saturday, the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus all day (see Friday late afternoon for details). Happy Halloween!
Saturday late morning, at 10:49am EDT, the Full Moon in 8.5 degrees of Taurus becomes exact. We started to feel this Lunation build from the moment the Moon entered Taurus on Friday late afternoon. If you are a Member of my online community, feel free to watch my video on the subject, here.
All Full Moons offer opportunities for us to see things in a new light — and they guide us away from polarization and division, toward balance and integration. Full Moons also illuminate the truth and consequences of our choices — and this particular Full Moon provides a double dose of that.
The Sun is in Scorpio and the Moon is in Taurus; not only that, we are also dealing here with a Moon/Uranus alignment in Taurus — and with two exalted Retrograde planets, that are slowing down to end their various Retrograde phases: Mercury in Libra and Mars in Aries. Their energy feels stronger inside of us. Because of the Retrograde component, it is an inner journey, an intuitive process.
You may recall that I talked a little about the Mercury Retrograde component in the last New Moon video and in my “Mercury Retrograde in Scorpio-Libra” webinar.
We will also address the exalted Mars component in our next Forecasting Forum on Nov. 8th. Feel free to join us, if you would like to know how Mars’ inward journey since Sept. 9th will impact what comes next for you.
There is currently an Early Bird Special that is available until Nov. 5th! That’s it for announcements and logistics, back to the Full Moon…
Let’s take a look at the Scorpio/Taurus polarity: This Full Moon has both a Taurus and a Scorpio spotlight — one spotlights our relationship to our physical body, what we value on the physical plane, and the planet we live on (Taurus) — while the other highlights our relationship to emotional authenticity, intimacy/sexuality, empowerment/disempowerment, death/rebirth, endings/beginnings (Scorpio) — it is asking us to recognize our deepest desires and truest motivations.
You can ask yourself with this Full Moon: What do I truly value? What deserves my attention, appreciation, and care? Which of my values stem from social conditioning? What needs to change or be revised?
At its best, Scorpio is associated with transformation, and our capacity to shed what may have served us in the past but now hinders our growth. We are indeed being asked to shed something in our life — a false belief, perhaps, or a “fake” identity or “way of being” — but it could also be a… To read the whole article and get all the Coaching questions for this month, click here.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 6-11 degrees of Taurus, Scorpio, Aquarius and Leo? If so, you are more affected by this month’s Full Moon. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
Also, Saturday late morning, a Sun/Uranus opposition becomes exact at 11:53am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from this Wednesday evening on; it will remain strong until next week Tuesday morning (Nov. 3rd). What we value in our lives could now be challenged: we are asked to create a balance between our urge for personal freedom (including financial freedom), versus our awareness of the importance of intimate, empowering connections and collaborations with others.
This aspect is an invitation to stay open and flexible in regards to our interactions with people. We may need to find a balance between what we value/what’s important to us on a physical level, or with our intimate partnerships, or what’s important to us on an emotional level. As best as you can, be open to receiving feedback from others during this time.
If you experience fear or uncertainty, focus on what it is that you could really get excited about and get behind in a realistic, grounded way — something that could make a difference, something meaningful. Also, take it one moment at a time, there is no need to rush anything 😉 Could you allow yourself to be uncomfortable, just for right now?
We may find that we disagree with other people’s values. We may be restless, even anxious, and therefore feel pressure to act (or react) towards others — or around our desire for financial freedom and independence. We could also be caught off-guard somehow, so stay open-minded and flexible.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or any personal planets) in the following placements: 6-12 degrees of Scorpio, Taurus, Leo, or Aquarius, ? If so, you may be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Aquarius (the Sun rules Leo; Uranus rules Aquarius).
Sunday, Nov. 1st:
Sunday, the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus all day (see Friday late afternoon for details).
Sunday at 2:00am, Daylight Savings Time ends in the United States and Canada. We are now back in sync with Europe and Great Britain. Same time differences apply as always.
Sunday afternoon, a challenging Mercury/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 2:06pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from this Wednesday afternoon (Oct. 28th) on, it will remain strong until Nov. 9th. This aspect asks us to stretch a little, to grow and mature. Watch out for misunderstandings or rigid thinking, not only when it comes to interacting with others, but also when it comes to your own inner dialog.
On the one hand, Mercury in Libra wants us to communicate in an idealistic, harmonious, just manner… making sure that everyone involved is happy. On the other hand, Saturn in Capricorn reminds us that before we can think about what we want to create or bring forth, we need to look at the reality of how long things take to manifest — we must slow down, get present to the quality we want to produce.
Ask yourself: If this is a long-term goal, am I truly building for the long-term? What is the worst that could happen if I compromised myself, or skipped over some steps?
As best as you can, find creative ways to connect to your ideals when dealing with others, while staying committed to your long-term goals one step at a time. Where is life calling for commitment? Could I go for it (one step at a time)?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in degrees of 23-29 Libra, Capricorn, Cancer, or Aries? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Capricorn (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Saturn rules Capricorn).
Also, Sunday afternoon, a Venus/Chiron opposition becomes exact at 2:55pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from this Friday on, it will remain strong until next week Tuesday afternoon (Nov. 3rd). This opposition asks us to create a balance between our healing process of the masculine energies, and our relationships.
We may feel insecure around others at this time; we need to first heal our own deep fears of not being “good enough”, learning to love ourselves — and then seeing how we can meet our partners halfway. As best as you can, bring the gift of compassion, understanding and forgiveness to your own insecurities or feelings of unworthiness — then gift that to others.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 3-9 degrees of Libra, Aries, Cancer, or Capricorn. If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra).
Sunday at 9:29pm EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for 7.5 hours until 5:00am EST (Monday early morning, Nov. 2nd). Use this intuitive time to slow down a little and focus on what’s sitting right in front of you that needs to be taken care of, so you can get to the next phase of accomplishment. Rushing will backfire right now.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Sunday late morning until Monday early morning (Nov. 2nd) ahead of time.
And…
A heads up for next Monday (Nov. 2nd): the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus and VoC until 5:00am EST; at that time, the Moon moves into chatty, versatile Gemini, where it will journey until Wednesday late afternoon (Nov. 4th). The Moon in Gemini sextiles Chiron in Aries at 4:32pm EST and it trines Venus and Libra at 7:31pm EST. More about all the details in next week’s forecast. 🙂
