A Great Time to Transform Your Life

This week’s headline items: the first Quarter Moon in Sagittarius becomes exact on Monday late afternoon; Mars changes signs from Virgo to Libra on Tuesday evening. On Sunday, Mercury slows down (aka stations), preparing for its 3-week Retrograde phase, and Pluto begins its station as well, however, Pluto is preparing to end its 5-months Retrograde phase.

There will be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday morning (for a brief 30 mins); Wednesday night/Thursday very early morning (for almost 10 hours); and Saturday early morning (for a little over 11 hours).

Before we get to this week’s forecast, I’d like to mention:

If none of this applies to you, send me a pdf of your birth chart).

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, September 13th:

Monday, the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day. It will journey there until Tuesday morning. We’re strongly motivated to explore and learn. We’re not likely to be big fans of routine — diversity and new adventures work best at this time — we’re also physically restless and need to burn that off with activity and physical exercise.

We tend to feel more open, optimistic and inspired — but we also have a high degree of independence — and taking these two influences together, this means we’d rather inspire others to do things our way, as opposed to issuing or obeying orders. Inspiring others could come easier than normal, as we can see the bigger picture, leaving us confident that others will agree with us, once they see what we see.

As best as you can, speak your truth without assuming that everyone is on the same page as you. Improvisation works well for us at this time, as we are spontaneous and love living on the edge — just watch out you aren’t overdoing or overstating things.

Monday early morning, we experience a need for inner adjustments. We feel uneasy or awkward and need to make a choice. Making this choice demands we develop inner awareness around two very different urges: on the one hand, the desire to mentally explore and go beyond what we already know — and on the other hand, the need for breakthroughs or change connected to the physical plane.

We need to ask ourselves here: What might become possible if I got 5% more comfortable with being uncomfortable? Or 5% more comfortable embracing uncertainty? (Moon in Sagittarius quincunxes Uranus in Taurus, exact at 5:13am EDT)

Monday morning: we have an opportunity to explore our one-on-one relationships, perhaps have a conversation with someone that sparks excitement. (Moon in Sagittarius sextiles Mercury in Libra, exact at 10:31am EDT)

In the late afternoon, at 4:39pm EDT, the first Quarter Moon in 21º Sagittarius becomes exact. We started to feel this from the moment the Moon entered Sagittarius on Sunday early morning. The Moon in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in detail-oriented, practical, service-oriented Virgo.

We feel compelled to take action. Last week saw the New Moon, on Sept. 6th. If we began a project or initiative around then, it is probably off the ground by now — and facing its first obstacles. This is thus a time to stretch and grow — and create some forward momentum.

We may feel anxious or unusually busy. As best as you can, take it one breath at a time. Allow for changes, remain flexible and find creative solutions in your day-to-day interactions with others.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 19-23 degrees of Sagittarius, Virgo, Gemini or Pisces? If so, you will feel the effects of this first Quarter Moon more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Monday early evening, we may need to make some adjustments. As best you can, honor both your need for adventure and exploration of life and your need to go within. You may feel a pull between introvert and extrovert, or simply fast and slow. Tune in for a moment and see if you need to take a break or at least slow down a little. As best as you can, be compassionate and kind with yourself. (Moon in Sagittarius squares Neptune in Pisces, exact at 5:33pm EDT)

Monday late evening, we have the opportunity to connect and collaborate with like-minded people, have an adventure, or simply do something that…

Monday late evening, we have the opportunity to connect and collaborate with like-minded people, have an adventure, or simply do something that gets us excited about the future. (Moon in Sagittarius sextiles Jupiter in Aquarius, exact at 9:38pm EDT)

Tuesday, Sept. 14th:

Tuesday, the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius until 7:34am EDT (see Monday for details).

Tuesday until midnight EDT, is your last chance to take advantage of the EARLY BIRD SPECIAL for the upcoming Forecasting Forum.

(Please keep in mind: Star Members are automatically registered and will receive an email with the link to join live on Sept. 16th in the afternoon and on Sept. 17th, an hour before the live event begins. Please email me right away if you are not receiving your emails).

Tuesday early morning, a Sun/Neptune opposition becomes exact at 5:21am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Friday evening (Sept. 10th) on; and it will remain strong until this Friday evening. Having a balance between logic and intuition — between what we know and what we feel or sense — is essential at this time.

We need to gain clarity when it comes to our dreams, and come to understand that we can only improve our current situation through forgiveness and love.

The mind plays an important role during this time. Provided they make sense to you, choices that connect you to your heart will help you succeed. It’s also important to give up being “right” at this time and thereby allow a sense of flow. As best as you can, trust your intuition and practice self-compassion 😉

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 19-25 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you will feel this opposition quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Pisces (the Sun rules Leo; Neptune rules Pisces).

Tuesday at 6:57am EDT, we enter a brief Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for a little over 30 mins, until 7:34am EDT. Use this intuitive time to make some adjustments. As best you can, honor both your need for adventure and exploration of life, and your need to be of service to others, and to be precise and practical with your work.

This tension invites us to stretch a little and resolve it through creative solutions — the key here is to be of service, so we don’t drive ourselves or others crazy. You may feel a little all over the map. As best as you can, stay flexible — and don’t be too hard on yourself or others.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Tuesday morning ahead of time.

Tuesday at 7:34am EDT, the Moon moves into ambitious, goal-oriented Capricorn, where it will journey until Thursday late morning. We tend to be more realistic, serious, cautious; this can support practical endeavors and financial matters.

Our ambition surges and brings with it a need for structure and planning; when you add in the pragmatism this aspect supports, you can see how this could be a very productive time for business and long-term goals. Our reputation becomes very important to us.

As best as you can during this aspect, avoid “should-ing” on yourself. Take the pressure off, perhaps by saying “I am doing the best I can and that’s all I can ever do” 😉

Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn — and is currently moving through Aquarius, making this a great time to take a look at our visions for humanity, and at anything we would like to accomplish long-term within our communities (locally or online).

It’s also a great time to take a more serious look at our various networks and connections to like-minded people; as best as you can, be authentic about your affiliations: Do they truly resonate with your personal vision for the future — as it stands now, rather than what it was 5 or 10 years ago?

Does participation in those groups or networks align with who you are now, and with where you see yourself 5 years from now? What do you truly want to commit yourself to?

Tuesday, at 8:14pm EDT, Mars changes signs from detail-oriented, practical, service-oriented Virgo to relationship-oriented, harmony-seeking, justice and equality-oriented Libra. Mars will journey through Libra until Oct. 30th. Until then, we are more inclined to put our energy into projects that involve equal partnerships, cooperation and justice.

We are also looking to achieve physical balance. Passions may run high during this time; sexual tension and competitiveness with others is also possible. It can be a stimulating, creative, passionate and invigorating time.

That said, we might seek more independence in our relationships — and patience with others is most likely not going to be our strong suit. As best as you can, use this energy to initiate new relationships and to find harmonious solutions for relationship issues. Give your body time to connect to that place of inner balance.

Mars last journeyed through Libra from Oct. 4th until Nov. 19th, 2019. Think back to that time and ask yourself: What projects were underway? What got initiated? How can I take those to the next level?

If you have an Aries Sun- or Rising-sign, you are going to be quite a bit more focused on relationship issues and justice. If you are a Libra Sun-sign or Rising sign, you will feel quite energized and passionate for the next 6.5 weeks. Channeling this energy into physical exercise or a project might be advisable.

Wednesday, Sept. 15th:

Wednesday, the Moon remains in ambitious, goal-oriented Capricorn all day (see Tuesday morning for details).

Wednesday very early morning, we are invited to make adjustments and find creative solutions to seemingly insoluble situations. As best as you can, make space for looking into some alternative exercise programs or holistic approaches to your personal projects and current long-term commitments. Compassion is key 😉 (Moon in Capricorn squares Chiron in Aries, exact at 3:15am EDT)

Wednesday morning, we are invited to connect with like-minded people, and learn something new about our unique talents or value to the world. We are better able to connect to anything that involves a long-term commitment. We perhaps might also implement revolutionary business practices or government programs that support our values and make life tangibly more enjoyable. (Moon in Capricorn trines Uranus in Taurus, exact at 8:31am EDT)

Wednesday early evening: we experience lots of mental stimulation and a strong need for accomplishment. We are invited to adjust and innovate when communicating with others — flexibility is key 😉 (Moon in Capricorn squares Mercury in Libra, exact at 5:41pm EDT)

Wednesday evening, we have an opportunity to soften our need for accomplishment with a gentler, more intuitive approach. As best as you can, take some breaks, and allow the energy flow to show you the way. (Moon in Capricorn sextiles Neptune in Pisces, exact at 9:01pm EDT)

Wednesday night/Thursday very early morning, at 1:40am EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC) that lasts for almost 10 hours, until 11:23am EDT (Thursday late morning). If you are awake during this intuitive time, use it to focus on long-term successes. We might get a little obsessed with a project or task — as best as you can, take breaks and don’t forget to practice a little self-care 😉

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Thursday very early morning until late morning ahead of time.

Thursday, Sept. 16th:

Thursday, the Moon remains in ambitious, goal-oriented Capricorn until 11:23am EDT (see Tuesday morning for details).

Thursday all day and Friday until 1pm EDT, is your last chance to register for the Forecasting Forum, live tomorrow, Friday at 2pm EDT/7pm London-time. Registration includes access to the mp4-video recording of the live event!

(Star Members will receive an email today – Sept. 16th – in the afternoon, and tomorrow, Friday, Sept. 17th, an hour before the live event begins, with the link to join live).

Thursday morning, a somewhat challenging Sun/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 8:31am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Wednesday morning on; and it will remain strong until Friday morning. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, sort of awkward — and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed if we’re to see what needs adjusting.

More profoundly though, we may feel challenged, as we realize that we are being overly enthusiastic with others. That high optimism may also drive us to take on more than we can physically handle. If we do start to feel drained or frustrated, it might be helpful to look at how we use our energy: Are we in tune with our body? How do we use our mind?

It’s also worthwhile to examine how our personal beliefs about our communities and networks are being received by others… Can we involve them in our desire for greater diversity and equality? And even perhaps in our desire for a better future for humankind and the planet we inhabit?

Being too critical or defensive will not serve us now — nor will needing things to be perfect or too exact — so, as best as you can, stay neutral and observant, allowing the mind to be of service to you and others, rather than a problem-solving machine or a weapon that creates separation rather than oneness 😉

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 23-25 degrees of Virgo or Aquarius? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Sagittarius (the Sun rules of Leo; Jupiter rules Sagittarius)

Thursday, at 11:23am EDT, the Moon moves into freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius, where it will journey until Saturday afternoon. The energy of the Aquarian Moon relates to our instinct for improvement. Reactions are more intellectual than emotional; interactions more impersonal than personal. We are likely to have an increased fascination with the new and unusual.

Social gatherings, anything connected with group ideals and goals for the future, brainstorming, new ideas and methods, progress: all these are promoted during the time the Moon moves through Aquarius. Again: we have our eyes on the future — or on outer space 🙂 Personal freedom becomes paramount.

Thursday late evening, a harmonious Sun/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 9:53pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Monday evening on; and it will remain strong until Sunday evening. This aspect brings a sense of focus and empowerment to our long-term goals. We have the ability to look at everything in a very down-to-earth manner right now; through our understanding of “what works and what doesn’t”, we can make more powerful choices.

We can also deepen our understanding of our own motivations and look closely at where we are heading. This aspect also brings an intensity and a depth to our conscious awareness; therefore this is also a great time to transform our lives, stripping away anything — even people — that no longer connect with who we are.

Ask yourself: How can I live more authentically? Is there anything holding me back? What fears and attachments could I release now that no longer serve my evolution? Would I be willing to let them go, just for now, and just as best as I can?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 21-28 degrees of Virgo, Capricorn or Taurus? If so, you will be even more blessed by this aspect than those who do not; this is also true for those of us with our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Scorpio (the Sun being the ruler of Leo; Pluto rules Scorpio)

Friday, Sept. 17th:

Friday, the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius all day (see Thursday late morning for details).

Friday until 1pm EDT, is your very last chance to register for the Forecasting Forum, live today at 2pm EDT/7pm London-time. Registration includes access to the mp4-video recording of the live event!

PLEASE NOTE we’ll talk about the Fall Equinox (exact on Sept. 22nd) and Pluto’s & Saturn’s Station Direct phases (Sept.19th – Oct. 21st) — in relationship to our own birth charts!

Other than booking a reading with me, this is the highest level of support you can get — and it’s only $37for the 90+ minute webinar.

Friday very early morning, a challenging Venus/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 2:15am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Tuesday on; and it will remain strong until Sunday. This aspect asks us to stretch and grow beyond how we’ve known ourselves in our relationships up to this point — a process of maturing that requires us to adjust and stay flexible.

On the one hand, we want to make deep and passionate intimate connections, something that is emotionally authentic and can be trusted; on the other hand, we feel a sharp need to focus on what we want to manifest long-term in our various communities (in-person or online) — what works, what doesn’t — in short, to determine what’s realistic and can provide us with the best foundation for a better future. Do your best to make space for both of these urges.

We tend to be more cautious when it comes to relationships and finances now — and in fact, this is not the best time to start a brand-new romantic relationship. Financially though, this aspect can be eye-opening. If we can find creative and mature ways to deal with money or shared resources we will grow from it.

The key is to approach things in both realms with emotional authenticity and maturity. Pushing will most likely not get us what we want: better to go one step at a time, slow and steady; that way, we can come back later with a stronger approach and more mature expectations.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 4-11 degrees of Scorpio or Aquarius? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Capricorn (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn)

Saturday, Sept. 18th:

Saturday, the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius until 4:22pm EDT (see Thursday late morning for details).

Saturday early morning, at 5:14am EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for a little over 11 hours, until 4:22pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to connect with like-minded people in an expansive fashion; as best as you can, make sharing and connecting an adventure! Explore your beliefs in connection with humanity’s future and look for a vision from a larger vantage point.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Saturday early morning until the late afternoon ahead of time.

Saturday at 4:22pm EDT, the Moon moves into creative, sensitive Pisces, where it will journey until next week, Monday late evening (Sept. 20th). This Moon placement often finds us more sensitive, intuitive, idealistic and imaginative than normal. We also have a greater capacity for compassion, sympathy and affection for all — but especially for those who suffer or can be regarded as the underdog.

But… that very idealism could also be our downfall at this time: We tend to see the best in everyone and everything, and when reality doesn’t match our idyllic vision, we might feel upset and even victimized by those harsh realities. A way out of this is to channel our idealism into spiritual or creative endeavors.

It’s also a great time for releasing fears — especially the ones based on a sense of separation — and experiencing “oneness”. Feelings tend to flow more freely; as best as you can, let them — in fact, “going with the flow” is the best way to go for the next couple of days.

Sunday, Sept 19th:

Sunday, the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day (see Saturday late afternoon for details).

On Sunday, Mercury starts to slow down (“station”) in 22º of Libra, preparing to come to a halt on Sept. 26/27th at 25.5º of Libra (when it will begin its 3-week Retrograde phase). More on that next week… This station will last until Oct. 2nd, and during this time, we will feel Mercury’s energies more strongly.

For the next 13 days, we need to be patient with ourselves and others — especially if there is a connection with communication or transportation, and their associated technologies. This is not the best time to start anything brand-new, especially if it contains new information that needs to be processed.

We might experience delays or misunderstandings, and things tend to feel “off” or stagnant. It might be a good idea to give yourself some extra time to get ready, or travel somewhere — especially if you intend to use public transportation or drive (For more details on Mercury Shadow Phases and Retrogrades, click here)

Be extra-patient if you intend to buy, sell or ship big-ticket items, especially if they are transportation or communication devices like anything connected with planes, trains, cars, phones, computers, iPads, etc. Best of all (if possible): wait until after Nov. 2nd, when the post-Shadow phase is over.

Some of us will feel the effects of the Mercury station more than others: those of us who have Gemini or Virgo as our Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant); and those of us with personal planets in 20-28 degrees of Libra, Aries, Capricorn, or Cancer.

Also, on Sunday, Pluto stations again in 24º of Capricorn, slowing down, getting ready to end its 5-month Retrograde phase (that started on April 27th and will end on Oct. 6th). Pluto’s energy will continue to move more slowly until Oct. 21st.

When an outer planet stops, its energy gets more pronounced; we become more aware of its impact on us — and this can sometimes cause discomfort. We are being asked to hang out with that discomfort until the planet’s energy has picked up speed again (around Oct. 21st).

During the Retrograde phase, we had a chance to connect to anything associated with Pluto from within. Pluto is associated with our soul purpose, as well as the process of empowerment — our ability to feel empowered from within — and with our deepest passions. This forced us to see what really motivates us.

For the last 5 months, we’ve needed to tap into inner authenticity, embracing all of ourselves: the good, the bad, and the ugly. Now we can bring this inner authenticity to the outer world: We are ready to let go of any habits, behaviors or fears that were holding us back from feeling fully empowered out there in the world.

Whatever we have intuitively learned about our inner passion, inner strength and Soul’s purpose, we are now ready to bring it to the outside world. This deeper connection is going to serve us on our journey towards authenticity. We can now transform our long-term goals, such that they align with our Soul’s purpose; ask yourself: What do I “just know”, deep down?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 22-26 degrees of Capricorn, Cancer, Libra or Aries? If so, you will feel this station more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Scorpio (Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio).

And…

A heads up for next Monday (Sept. 20th), the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces until 11:13pm EDT, at which time it moves into pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey until Thursday morning. In the early afternoon, a somewhat challenging Venus/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 12:12pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Sunday early afternoon (Sept. 19th) on; and it will remain strong until next week, Tuesday early afternoon (Sept. 21st). In the evening, a harmonious Mercury/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 6:53pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Thursday evening (Sept. 16th) on; and it will remain strong until next week, Wednesday evening (Sept. 22nd). Also, at 7:55pm EDT, the Full Moon in Pisces becomes exact. More about all the details in next week’s forecast : )
