Spirit Beings in a Physical World — Forecast for Sept. 9th – 15th
This week’s headline items: Saturn starts its Station Phase (in Capricorn) on Tuesday, and on Friday, Pluto likewise, starting its own Station Phase in Capricorn. The Full Moon becomes exact in Pisces and Mercury changes signs from Virgo to Libra early Saturday morning; later that morning, Venus changes signs, from Virgo to Libra as well. Saturn’s Station phase intensifies on Sunday.
There will be three Moon VoC phases this week: Monday early morning (for almost 13 hours), Wednesday very early morning (28.5 hours), and Saturday night/Sunday very early morning (18 hours).
Monday, Sept. 9th:
Monday, the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn until 5:24pm EDT. We tend to be more realistic, serious, cautious; this can support practical endeavors and financial matters.
Our ambition surges and brings with it a need for structure and planning; when you add in the pragmatism this Moon placement supports, you can see how this could be a very productive time for business and long-term goals. Our reputation becomes very important to us.
As best as you can during this time, avoid “should-ing” on yourself. Take the pressure off, perhaps by saying “I am doing the best I can and that’s all I can ever do” 😉
Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn; it is currently transiting through its own sign, making this a great time to take look at your long-term aspirations and anything that you would like to master until Dec. 2020. It’s also a great time to take a more serious look at our strategies for self-mastery.
For starters: Do you truly see “what’s so” in your life — as opposed to what you merely wish it to be, or what you would like it to be, or where you see yourself going, etc.? What is actually so right now? Once you have a handle on where “A” is, it’s easier to “go from A to B” — whether “B” is self-mastery or standing on the mountaintop.
Monday very early morning, a harmonious Mars/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 12:14am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Wednesday evening (Sept. 4th) on; it will be strong until this Friday (Sept. 13th). This aspect brings more self-discipline, maturity, focus, purpose and self-motivation.
We tend to be more practical than usual; our progress in most projects may be slow, but it will always be steady — as you can imagine, this can be a very productive period, as we are able to take responsibility for our long-term goals and the foundations we are currently building. We can bring honesty and realism to the world, seeing what works and what doesn’t work for us, and we approach things with integrity.
This is an especially favorable aspect for those employed in any of the following industries: Health and wellness, service-oriented industries like consulting, accounting, house cleaning, — and for independent contractors and the self-employed in general.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 11-17 degrees of Virgo, Capricorn, or Taurus? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Capricorn (Mars is the ruler of Aries; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn).
Monday at 4:30am EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for almost 13 hours until 5:24pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to gain clarity about what’s important to you long-term. Ask yourself: What works for me in my daily routines? What doesn’t? What do I see now, that I can easily implement, that I couldn’t before?
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday early morning until the late afternoon ahead of time.
Monday at 5:24pm EDT, the Moon move into freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius, where it will journey until Thursday morning. The energy of the Aquarian Moon relates to our instinct for improvement. Reactions are more intellectual than emotional; interactions more impersonal than personal. We are likely to have an increased fascination with the new and unusual.
Social gatherings, anything connected with…

Social gatherings, anything connected with group ideals and goals for the future, brainstorming, new ideas and methods, progress: all these are promoted during the time the Moon moves through Aquarius. Again: we have our eyes on the future — or on outer space 🙂 Personal freedom becomes paramount.
Tuesday, Sept. 10th:
Tuesday, the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius all day (see Monday late afternoon for details).
Tuesday very early morning, a Sun/Neptune opposition becomes exact at 3:24am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Friday (Sept. 6th) on, it will remain strong until this Thursday. Having a balance between logic and intuition — between what we know and what we feel or sense — is essential at this time. We need to gain clarity when it comes to our dreams, and come to understand that we can only improve our current situation through forgiveness and love.
The mind plays an important role during this time — provided they make sense to you, choices that connect you to your heart will help you succeed. It’s also important to give up being “right” at this time and thereby allow a sense of flow. As best as you can, trust your intuition and practice self-compassion 😉
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 14-20 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you will feel this opposition quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Pisces (the Sun rules Leo; Neptune rules Pisces).
Tuesday morning, we may feel pulled in two quite different directions: On the one hand, we experience a need for connecting with like-minded people and remaining objective; on the other hand, we want to make space for pursuing our financial vision — and we also want to break free from outdated value systems.
As such, we may have to address what we value in both in others, and in ourselves (which informs our self-worth); as best as you can, make adjustments and find creative solutions when it comes to these energies.
Also, on Tuesday, Saturn starts its station. “Stationing” is when a planet moves more slowly through the sky. When a planet stations, its energy becomes more “exalted”; in the case of Saturn, this means we all feel the need to more fully face what is currently so, our actual reality.
Saturn has to do with doing what needs to be done — so we can fully understand the practical implications of our reality, and the consequences of our past actions. Saturn also represents our structures, responsibilities, commitments and ability to “do” life, on life’s terms.
As spirit beings in a physical world, it’s best to observe the laws of the physical world. The sooner we learn to “play by the rules”, the easier life gets. Saturn also represents time and the “domain” of time: growing up, maturing, understanding our limitations, setting healthy boundaries with others, living with integrity, being authentic and truthful, being serious and focused on building something of value to society.
Saturn is our teacher. If you had a cosmic teacher, what would your personal “earth class” be in, right now? Where are you asked to look at your current “earth structures” and become more mature? Which long-term goal calls out for commitment? What will time do?
As best as you can during the time of the station, bring flexibility and open-mindedness to any frustrations. The station-phase will last , until Sept. 26th; and Saturn goes direct — after having been retrograde for 4.5-month — on Sept. 18th in almost 14 degrees of Capricorn.
We are getting ready to move forward on some important long-term goals, but we’ll need to be patient until Saturn goes direct on Sept. 18th. Until then, as best as you can, realistically evaluate what’s needed in order to build some healthy, long-lasting foundations for the next phase in your life.
For a more in-depth interpretation of the Saturn Station phase in connection with your own birth chart, join us live for the upcoming Forecasting Forum on Sept. 19th, or get the mp4-video presentation of the live event. Either way: register here now.
If you are already a Star or Super Star Member, just look out for the Forecasting Forum emails in your inbox (promotional folders or junk mail), on Sept. 19th.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 12-16 degrees of Capricorn, Cancer, Aries, or Libra? If so, you will be more affected by this station. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Capricorn, since Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn.
Wednesday, Sept. 11th:
Wednesday, the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius all day (see Monday late afternoon for details).
Wednesday at 1:22am EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for 28.5 hours until 5:52am EDT (Thursday morning). Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to connect with others and explore, actively, the things that can bring you progress. Ask yourself: Am I open to explore something different? Am I open to seeing something that I haven’t looked at before? Am I open to new adventures?
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Wednesday very early morning until Thursday morning ahead of time.
Wednesday morning, calls for some inner adjustments. We feel uneasy or awkward and need to make a choice. Making this choice demands we develop inner awareness around two very different urges: on the one hand, the need to engage in humanitarian causes — and on the other hand, the desire to tend to our daily routines.
Wednesday late evening brings another call for inner adjustments. We may want to connect with like-minded people about our future visions but also on a more practical level around our daily work or health routines. Where could you use more clarity? Where do you need to take a closer look in your life with others?
Thursday, Sept. 12th:
Thursday, the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius and VoC until 5:52am EDT (see Monday late afternoon, and Wednesday very early morning for details).
Thursday early morning, a challenging Mars/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 5:06am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last Friday evening (Sept. 6th) on; it will be strong until next week Tuesday (Sept. 17th). This aspect is an opportunity to grow by stretching between two poles:
On the one hand, we feel drawn to problem-solving, and looking at the details of a given situation to find practical solutions; on the other hand, we also feel drawn to adventures and want to expand our horizons — but want to identify some higher learning or meaning before we make a move.
Here’s the question: Might seeking physical and mental wellbeing or wholeness help us expand our horizons?
We seek excitement and growth; we may not be satisfied with how things are — we feel an inner restlessness which demands freedom and “space” but doesn’t necessarily return the favor. We may have a tendency to overdo or over-exert — and our expectations of ourselves and others might be way too high.
Ask yourself: What might open up if I expected 5% less of myself, just for today? What if I applied that to others too? Might my physical and mental energy levels help me be realistic about how much I can expect of myself right now?
With this position, we never feel that we have enough experiences, knowledge, connections, etc. — it’s difficult knowing when to stop. If you can, pause and reflect: this will help with that feeling that you can’t get enough, no matter what you do. If we’re going to get tripped up here, it would be because we don’t know when to stop (or say no).
That said: we needn’t expect to feel tormented — in fact, this is usually a playful and humorous time, with lots of joking around (including practical jokes) smiles, and laughter. The key to this aspect is connecting our desire to be of very real and practical service to our quest for expansive yet truthful mental and spiritual explorations.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 13-19 degrees of Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces or Gemini ? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Sagittarius (Mars is the ruler of Aries, Jupiter of Sagittarius).
Thursday at 5:52am EDT, the Moon moves into creative, sensitive Pisces, where it will journey until Saturday early evening. This Moon placement often finds us more sensitive, intuitive, idealistic and imaginative than normal. We also have a greater capacity for compassion, sympathy and affection for all — but especially for those who suffer or can be regarded as the underdog.
But… that very idealism could also be our downfall at this time: We tend to see the best in everyone and everything, and when reality doesn’t match our idyllic vision, we might feel upset and even victimized by those harsh realities. A way out of this is to channel our idealism into spiritual or creative endeavors.
It’s also a great time for releasing fears — especially the ones based on a sense of separation — and experiencing “oneness”. Feelings tend to flow more freely; as best as you can, let them — in fact, “going with the flow” is the best way to go for the next couple of days. This Moon placement starts the build up towards the Full Moon (exact Friday night/Saturday very early morning).
Thursday early evening, we get an opportunity to be very present, to connect with others and share a new vision about the Earth, or to reinvent how we connect with “the good things in life”. As best as you can, bring a sense of flow and faith to who you are being; allow yourself to intuitively share some progressive, new ideas about what is important to you, and things that could make yours and other people’s life easier on a very practical level.
Friday, Sept. 13th:
Friday, the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day (see Thursday morning for details).
Friday late morning, a Mercury/Venus alignment in 28 degrees of Virgo becomes exact at 11:11am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last Sunday (Sept. 8th) on; it will be strong until next week, Thursday evening (Sept. 19th). This is an excellent time to start sharing about art projects (or anything arts-related —visual arts perhaps) and any teaching endeavors. This alignment indicates an ability to communicate from the heart — and in fact, connecting to people we have an affinity with is essential.
We want to feel able to connect in harmonious, peaceful manner and communicate on an equal footing. We tend to have a strong sense of fairness at this time, and want to be in touch with people who meet us half-way. In general, we are very agreeable and enjoy socializing. We also thoroughly enjoy the written and spoken word — literature, wordplay, puns, moving conversations — especially if connected to our health and wellbeing.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 23-29 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini, Sagittarius, or 0-6 degrees of Libra, Aries, Cancer or Capricorn? If so, you will feel this alignment quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Virgo, Gemini or Taurus (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra)
Friday afternoon, a harmonious Sun/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 3:42pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Tuesday on, it will remain strong until next week, Monday (Sept. 16th). This aspect brings a sense of focus and empowerment to our long-term goals. We have the ability to look at everything in a very down-to-earth manner right now; through our understanding of “what works and what doesn’t”, we can make more powerful choices.
We can also deepen our understanding of our own motivations and look closely at where we are heading. This aspect also brings an intensity and a depth to our conscious awareness; therefore this is also a great time to transform our lives, stripping away anything — even people — that no longer connect with who we are.
Ask yourself: How can I live more authentically? Is there anything holding me back? What fears and attachments could I release now, that no longer serve my evolution? Would I be willing to let them go, just for now, and just as best as I can?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 18-24 degrees of Virgo, Capricorn or Taurus? If so, you will be even more blessed by this aspect than those who do not; this is also true for those of us with our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Scorpio (the Sun being the ruler of Leo; Pluto rules Scorpio)
Friday night/Saturday very early morning, at 12:33am EDT, the Full Moon in 21 degrees of Pisces becomes exact. The Moon in creative, free-flowing Pisces makes an opposition to the Sun in detail-oriented, practical Virgo — and the entrance of the Moon into Pisces Thursday morning (Sept. 12th) started the energetic build up towards the Full Moon — you may also want to watch my video on the subject: click here
With this Full Moon, we are dealing with two stationing planets in Capricorn — Saturn and Pluto — both of which we will investigate in more detail during our upcoming Forecasting Forum on Sept. 19th. Both of these planets are preparing to end their respective Retrograde phases and are therefore exalted.
We are getting ready to move forward on some important long-term goals, but we’ll need to be patient until Saturn goes direct on Sept. 18th; until then, we need to realistically evaluate what’s needed in order to build some healthy, long-lasting foundations for the next phase in our lives.
For a more in-depth interpretation of your own chart, join us live for the Forum on the 19th, or get the mp4-video presentation of the live event. Either way: register here now.
If you are already a Star or Super Star Member, just look out for the Forecasting Forum emails in your inbox (promotional folders or junk mail), on Sept. 19th.
This Full Moon also resonates back to the New Moon in Pisces from March 6th of this year. Think back to that time: what began in March? How might you take that to the next level? What practical action steps could support you in fulfilling on a dream that you’ve had since March?
Now let’s address this Full Moon’s polarities: The Virgo/Pisces polarity has to do with our ability to connect the head with the heart, logic with intuition, matter with spirit. So, the question is: how do we integrate Pisces and Virgo?
This may seem a challenging question, given Virgo’s detailed, analytical understanding, contrasted with Pisces‘ call to open our heart and allow for all… even what seems paradoxical to the mind. In fact, on an energetic level there is no separation, everything is interconnected — we need both left- and right-brain (the logical and the creative).
Ask yourself: What if… To read the whole article and get all the Coaching Questions for this month’s Full Moon, click here.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 19-23 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you are more affected by this Full Moon. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
Also, Friday night/Saturday very early morning, at 12:33am EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for 18 hours until 6:32pm EDT (Saturday early evening). Use this intuitive time to balance your desire for scientific clarity and problem-solving against your need for creative or spiritual connections (or some intuitive self-connection). If you can achieve that balance, it’s a great time for being of service.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Friday night/Saturday very early morning until Saturday early evening ahead of time.
Also, Friday, Pluto starts to slow down (station), preparing to come to a halt on Oct. 3rd, after its 5-month retrograde phase. This makes its energy more exalted in the sky for the next 5.5 weeks…until Oct. 22nd.
When an outer planet stations, its energy gets more pronounced; we become more aware of its impact on us — and this can sometimes cause discomfort. We are being asked to hang out with that discomfort until the planet’s energy has picked up speed again (around Oct. 22nd).
Pluto is associated with our soul purpose. It relates to the process of empowerment — our ability to feel empowered from within, through the experience of wholeness — and to our deepest passions.
It is also associated with transformation, for example our ability to transform darkness into light or “death” into “rebirth”. Those terms don’t necessarily refer to physical death or rebirth, but rather some sort of ending and beginning.
To get to a place of truthfulness on the soul level, Pluto will remove what no longer serves us, replacing it with something new — something fully aligned with our deepest passions and soul purpose.
When we resist the deep changes Pluto brings, we tend to suffer; on the other hand, when we surrender and allow for that process to take place, we will move to a place of greater authenticity — and feel a newness and empowerment from within.
As best as you can, take a closer look at whatever is “in your face” for the next 5.5 weeks. Look for what might no longer be in alignment with your soul’s purpose (your deep authentic Self).
Ask yourself: Where am I holding on, out of fear? What habits, behaviors or fears are holding me back from feeling fully empowered from within? What would it look like, if I was fully aligned with my Soul-purpose? How would it feel? When we confront our fears we very often discover hidden gifts and strengths.
Much as with the Saturn Station, we are getting ready to move forward with something connected to long-term goals, and we are wanting to feel empowered — but we’ll need to be patient until Pluto goes direct on Oct. 3rd. Until then, as best as you can, thoroughly evaluate what will be needed if you are to feel empowered around any long-term plans for the next phase in your life.
For a more in-depth interpretation of the Pluto Station phase in connection with your own birth chart, join us live for the upcoming Forecasting Forum on Sept. 19th, or get the mp4-video presentation of the live event. Either way: register here now.
If you are already a Star or Super Star Member, just look out for the Forecasting Forum emails in your inbox (promotional folders or junk mail), on Sept. 19th.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 18-23 degrees of Capricorn, Aries, Cancer or Libra? If so, you will feel this station more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Scorpio (Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio).
Saturday, Sept. 14th:
Saturday, the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces and VoC until 6:32pm EDT (see Thursday morning and Friday night/Saturday very early morning for details).
Saturday very early morning, at 12:33am EDT, the Full Moon in 21 degrees of Pisces becomes exact — feel free to watch my video on the subject: click here. To read the whole article and get all the Coaching Questions for this month’s Full Moon, click here. (this entry was already mentioned on Friday night, so feel free to scroll back up for more)
Saturday very early morning, a Mars/Neptune opposition becomes exact at 1:25am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from this Monday on; it will remain strong until next week Wednesday (Sept.18th). This aspect asks us to find a balance between “doing” and “being”. It could be a confusing time if we don’t allow intuition to guide us. We may also feel de-energized at times, if we are trying to do too much.
We may not feel as organized as we think we should be; we may miss things that normally would be pretty obvious to us. We also might have a hard time expressing our anger or asserting ourselves, therefore passive-aggressive behaviors are likely to occur.
We can lose our bearings during this opposition, so as best as you can, go with the flow, have faith and let your heart guide you — and have compassion for yourself and others. Selfless service and quiet time will both likely work out well.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 14-20 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you will be more affected by this alignment. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Pisces (Mars is the ruler of Aries; Neptune is the ruler of Pisces)
Saturday very early morning, at 3:14am EDT, Mercury changes signs from practical Virgo to harmony-seeking Libra, where it will journey until Oct. 3rd. Mercury in Libra changes the way we communicate and think. We are more likely now to see things from multiple points of view and to think in abstractions, this helps us be objective.
We have a strong sense of justice and look for ways to make compromises. We speak and act diplomatically; this comes from our desire for harmony, peace, diplomacy, win/win outcomes. We feel better when we are not pressured into making quick decisions. Very probably, the two things we will most avoid at this time are confrontations and emotional intensity.
Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo? If so, you will feel a greater need for justice and fairness. Do you have your Ascendent or Sun-sign in Libra? If so, you will most likely feel more chatty for the next 3 weeks.
Saturday late morning, at 9:43am EDT, Venus changes signs from detail-oriented, practical Virgo to harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra, where it will journey until Oct. 8th. With this placement, we prefer to show kindness, evenhandedness, and a willingness to make our relationships work.
We love to communicate about our relationships at this time and we prefer entering into equal partnerships. During this time, we can develop an idealized view of what a relationship “should” look like. We do our best to treat others fairly for the next three and a half weeks, seeking the middle ground. We are more likely to appreciate the arts, dance, beauty, entertainment and romance.
Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus? If so, you will feel more connected to your inner harmony for the next 3 weeks. Your heart will want to connect to others in an equal setting. If you are a Libra Sun- or Rising-sign you are going to have more love and beauty in your life for as long as Venus is in your sign.
Saturday at 6:32pm EDT, the Moon moves into pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey until next week, Tuesday morning (Sept. 17th). Life is an adventure, we’re more open to new ideas, and have great enthusiasm for new projects.
Patience is certainly not our strong suit at this time, but we can decide quickly, and act immediately. Our independence and dynamism are important to us right now, so we may find it hard to be disciplined or accept advice at this time; in general, our responses to others tend to be more assertive or even aggressive. If you find your foot tapping, try hitting the gym, or finding other ways to burn off the body’s excess energy.
Sunday, Sept. 15th:
Sunday, the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day (see Saturday early evening for details).
The Saturn Station intensifies today (Sunday). As I mentioned on Tuesday already, “Stationing” is when a planet moves more slowly through the sky. When a planet stations, its energy becomes more “exalted”; in the case of Saturn, this means we all feel the need to more fully face what is currently so, our actual reality.
Ask yourself: Where am I being asked to look at my long-term goals and ambitions and became more mature? What calls for a commitment towards building a solid foundation? What will time do?
As best as you can during the time of the station, bring flexibility and open-mindedness to any frustrations. The station-phase will feel most intense until Sept. 21st, but altogether, it will run until Sept. 26th — and Saturn will end its 5-month retrograde phase, next week Wednesday (on Sept. 18th)…
Sunday very early morning, has lots of potential for healing around family, the “mother archetype”, home, and our past in general. We may feel more sensitive and insecure about what we identity with, and around our ability to be assertive; this gives us the opportunity to give ourselves some compassion, acceptance and nurturing in the face of our sensitivities and limitations.
Sunday late evening, we are invited to make some adjustments in our lives and find creative solutions to seemingly incompatible situations. On the one hand, we are invited to focus on building solid foundations under any long-term goals currently underway. Some helpful questions you could ask yourself: What benefits might I reap from taking it one step at a time?
On the other hand, we have this need to make time for personal desires and needs; here, you could ask yourself: What does my inner teenager require to be happy at this time?
And…
A heads up for next Monday (Sept. 16th): the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day (see Saturday early evening Sept. 14 for details). At 12:03pm EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for almost 18.5 hours until 6:31am EDT Tuesday morning. And, in the early afternoon, a Mercury/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 12:55pm EDT; we started to feel this aspect from Sept. 14th on, it will be strong until Sept. 18th. More about all the details in next week’s forecast 🙂
