A Beautiful Healing Experience — Forecast March 23 – 29th
This week’s headline items: the New Moon in Aries becomes exact on Tuesday early morning, it’s time to start taking action on our New Moon intentions on Sunday, and Mercury exits its post-Shadow phase on Sunday.
There will be three Moon VoC phases this week: Monday late morning (for a little over 10 hours), Thursday very early morning (for almost 6.5 hours) and Saturday evening (for 2.5 hours).
Before we get to this week’s forecast, I’d like to mention:
On Sunday (March 29th) at 2am, Daylight Savings Time begins in the UK and Europe — which means that we now all have Summer Time, and converting to your time zone will be the same as it is for most of the year — for example, for the UK it will be the usual 5 hours again.
Also, my husband and I recorded a video chat earlier today with a dear friend of ours who is an awakening consciousness teacher and coach (David Ellzey). And I wanted to share this conversation with you. It is about the current state of affairs seen from all different perspectives and it might help to hear what all three of us had to say and contribute to that conversation. Click here to watch.
Now, this week’s Forecast…
Monday, March 23rd:
Monday, the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces until 8:58pm EDT. This Moon placement often finds us more sensitive, intuitive, idealistic and imaginative than normal. We also have a greater capacity for compassion, sympathy and affection for all — but especially for those who suffer or can be regarded as the underdog.
But… that very idealism could also be our downfall at this time: We tend to see the best in everyone and everything, and when reality doesn’t match our idyllic vision, we might feel upset and even victimized by those harsh realities. A way out of this is to channel our idealism into spiritual or creative endeavors.
It’s also a great time for releasing fears — especially the ones based on a sense of separation — and experiencing “oneness”. Feelings tend to flow more freely; as best as you can, let them — in fact, “going with the flow” is the best way to go for today.
Monday very early morning, a Mars/Pluto alignment in almost 25 degrees of Capricorn becomes exact at 1:21am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last week Wednesday evening (March 18th) on; it will remain strong until this Friday. This alignment connects our personal will to the Universal Will. If we feel the need to connect to something, we will feel it passionately, especially when it comes to our long-term goals and our public image.
We may feel impatient (or even obsessive) right now about our career goals. Suppressed desires surface; we will need to take actions on them, one way or another.
If you are able to connect — body and soul — to that passion, you will be able to move towards a much higher goal. This may be a goal that is truthfully connected to the whole of you, perhaps even to your Soul Purpose for this lifetime.
Mars last aligned with Pluto in late April of 2018; unresolved issues from that period can now move to the next level. What were you up to back then?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (MC) or personal planets in 21-28 degrees of Capricorn, Cancer, Libra or Aries? If so, you will feel the effects of this aspect more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Scorpio (Mars is the ruler of Aries, so those folks will always be affected more strongly by Mars’s movements and aspects; Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio, so they likewise feel Pluto’s movements and aspects more strongly)
Monday at 10:51am EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for a little over 10 hours until 8:58pm EDT. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to tap into your intuitive and imaginative abilities — then focus anew on your long-term goals.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday late morning until the late evening ahead of time.
Monday at 8:58pm EDT, the Moon moves into pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey until Thursday late morning. Life is an adventure, we’re more open to new ideas, and have great enthusiasm for new projects. Patience is certainly not our strong suit at this time, but we can decide quickly, and act immediately.
Our independence and dynamism are important to us right now, so we may find it hard to be disciplined or accept advice at this time; in general, our responses to others tend to be more assertive or even aggressive. If you find your foot tapping, try hitting the gym, or finding other ways to burn off the body’s excess energy. This Moon placement also starts the build up towards the New Moon (exact on Tuesday early morning)… more on that later… and in the meantime, feel free to watch my New Moon video for more info.
Monday late evening, we get an opportunity to…

Monday late evening, we get an opportunity to take actions on our personal goals, in a very concrete way and bring a new level of focus and authenticity to our future visions.
Tuesday, March 24th:
Tuesday, the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day (see Monday late evening for details).
Tuesday early morning, the New Moon in Aries becomes exact at 5:28am EDT. The Moon aligns with the Sun in 4 degrees of Aries. This marks the beginning of a new Moon cycle; anything brand-new started in the next two weeks has the chance to get off to a great start. Click here to watch my New Moon video on the subject.
The New Moon in fast-paced, enthusiastic, and courageous Aries asks us to connect to our personal goals and get very clear on what we want to create over the next 28 days. This is an action-oriented New Moon, with the focus on ourselves; we want to speed things up — it’s a “do now, think later” energy.
Aries is the first sign of the zodiac; as such, it represents new beginnings, initiation, breaking new ground, birthing new forms. An Aries New Moon is thus an especially fertile time for seeding new projects and directions.
That said, we can’t know what will happen when we start something brand-new — something we have never done before — and this can stir up insecurities and nervousness, sometimes maybe plain fear, or even panic.
Aries and its ruling planet Mars, correspond with the quest to develop courage — not fearlessness, but the conscious choice to act in spite of fear — some call this the “Warrior Energy”.
One of the many ways we can demonstrate courage is to allow ourselves to be in the condition of “not knowing” or “beginners mind”; at these times, we are more present, and creative potential is heightened.
Ask yourself: Where could I bring a “beginner’s mind” to bear? Where do I need to let go of needing to know everything before I begin?
This New Moon aligns with Chiron (the Wounded Healer) in Aries; this presents an opportunity to share our individual approach toward gentler leadership, and inspire others to engage in a healing process around the masculine “yang” energy — to do some healing around… to read the whole New Moon article and get access to all of the Coaching questions, click here.
Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 2-6 degrees of either Aries, Libra, Capricorn or Cancer? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
The New Moon is also the best time to set some intentions for this month’s Moon cycle — this process is especially powerful with the New Moon in Aries — and as always, is best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact (and definitely not during a Moon void of course)
So this month, we have almost 46 hours to set intentions: between 5:28am on Tuesday and 3:16am on Thursday very early morning (March 26th) (as always, all times are EDT). For more info on setting New Moon Intentions click here.
If you live in a timezone other than EDT (US East Coast-time), I recommend you join my Facebook Fan-page or follow me on twitter as I post reminders on March 24th, and 25th throughout the day, and on March 26th in the early morning, to let you know when it is the most potent time to set your intentions 😉
Tuesday morning, has lots of potential for healing around family, the “mother archetype”, home, and our past in general. We may feel more sensitive and insecure about what we identity with, and around our ability to be assertive; this gives us the opportunity to give ourselves some compassion, acceptance and nurturing in the face of our sensitivities and limitations.
Wednesday, March 25th:
Wednesday, the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day (see Monday late evening for details).
Wednesday morning, a Sun/Chiron alignment in 5 degrees of Aries becomes exact at 9:27am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last week Saturday evening (March 21st) on; it will be strong until this Saturday evening (March 28th). This gives us an opportunity to heal insecurities or shame through conscious awareness.
Becoming aware of old wounds or limitations is the first step toward healing them. Bringing compassion, self-acceptance, and love to it is the second. Together, steps one and two make for a beautiful healing experience. Feel free to also read my article on Chiron in Aries until 2027
It will help to stay grounded — connected to the Earth and your body. If waves of anger or frustration come up, let them, simply observe the waves. Ask yourself: Am I the “wave” or am I more than that? As best as you can, allow all “waves” to wash ashore, and allow yourself to rest as the vastness that you are (just like the ocean is to the waves).
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 2-8 degrees of Aries, Libra,Cancer, or Capricorn? If so, you will be more aware of this alignment. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo (the Sun rules Leo).
Wednesday evening, we are invited to make adjustments and find creative solutions around the tension between our personal desires and needs, versus our desire for expansion and new perspectives on a professional level and in regards to long-term goals. As best as you can, allow yourself to make space for both.
Wednesday late evening, we are again invited to make some adjustments and find creative solutions around personal desires and needs, versus our deep passion and focus on long-term goals. As best as you can, allow for both — flexibility and adaptability are key if we mean to move forward with our plans and projects — and seek to empower, rather than disempower (this goes for yourself too, as much as for others).
Thursday, March 26th:
Thursday, the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries until 9:37am EDT (see Monday late evening for details).
Thursday at 3:16am EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for almost 6.5 hours until 9:37am EDT. Use this intuitive time to make some adjustments in your life. As best as you can, find creative solutions to seemingly unsolvable situations. Make space both for going after your long-term goals and aspirations, and for your need to do your own thing, to be completely yourself.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Thursday very early morning until the late morning ahead of time.
Thursday at 9:37am EDT, the Moon moves into steady, peaceful Taurus, where it will journey until Saturday late evening. We love all physical comforts, prefer consistency, and would rather stick with what we know works well. In other words: change is not our favorite thing and “rushing things” goes against our grain. What is our favorite thing for the next two days? It’s probably, slowing down and getting in touch with whatever delights our senses 😉
Also, Thursday late morning, on the one hand, we need to experience peace and physical pleasure; on the other, we need to take some time to focus on our future visions, and see what’s realistic for us. We may need to make some adjustments between these two needs that are seemingly at odds.
Thursday late evening: If possible, connect with people that can support your projects on a practical level, and share what you value with them, even if it’s a bit wacky or unusual.
Friday, March 27th:
Friday, the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus all day (see Thursday late morning for details).
On Friday, very early in the morning, we have an opportunity to communicate with others in a gentle, compassionate way –and if you are already awake during this time, enjoy a good meal, a glass of wine, and if social distancing allows it, a massage… think “physical pleasures”
Friday night/Saturday very early morning, we have an opportunity to meet our need for material comfort with a gentler, more intuitive approach.
Friday night/Saturday very early morning, a harmonious Venus/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 12:24am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Tuesday evening on; it will be strong until next Tuesday evening (March 31st). This aspect brings a good dose of optimism, faith and a sense of the “bigger picture” to our business relationships and finances. We tend to relate to others in a positive (even inspiring) manner; as you can imagine, it is thus much easier to make social contacts.
Our outlook is more cheerful and hopeful, the atmosphere cooperative, yet grounded in reality — it’s a great time for winning people’s enthusiasm. We are more optimistic and trusting with friends and lovers. We might feel an urge to do business with people from other countries or foreign cultures, just to have an adventure, or widen our horizons.
Financially, there might be a tendency to spend more than usual, as we feel confident that an abundance of resources is available to us. The thing to watch out for is the feeling that we don’t have to actually do anything to “cash in”.
There are indeed definitely plenty of opportunities to be had, financial and otherwise, especially in connection with government contracts (or anything that involves public office). Educational businesses or endeavors and the travel industry are also highlighted 😉
Ask yourself: What opportunities are opening up to me at this time? What connections might bring about expansion? What if I asked “who” as well as “how”?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 21-27 degrees of Taurus, Capricorn, or Virgo? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Sagittarius (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius).
Saturday, March 28th:
Saturday, the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus until 9:38pm EDT (see Thursday late morning for details).
Saturday at 7:05pm EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for 2.5 hours until 9:38pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to take small steps on projects already underway — it’s easier for us to sustain what we have started, and bring a heightened sense of commitment to it all. Or simply take a break and do some Sun Salutations or push-ups 😉
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Saturday evening ahead of time.
Saturday at 9:38pm EDT, the Moon moves into chatty, versatile Gemini, where it will journey until next week, Tuesday morning (March 31st). The Gemini Moon keeps us social and busy. Interactions may take place online, on the phone, or face-to-face with those in our immediate environment. With this Moon placement, we like to multitask and stay engaged with life as much as possible: As long as we don’t get bored, we’re good.
Saturday late evening, a harmonious Venus/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 10:57pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from this Wednesday evening on; it will remain strong until next week, Tuesday evening (March 31st). This aspect brings a fruitful and rewarding period in our lives. We experience new depths of intimacy (with an existing or new partner), we learn to appreciate the important people in our lives, and our value system transforms and evolves.
This is likely an excellent period for finances as well. Work we’ve done might pay off, and we are able to manage our finances better, with more attention to sustainability, planning, and strategy — as well as the elimination of anything that no longer serves us. We might renew a commitment, or bring new, deeper and more intimate energy into a relationship under the influence of this aspect.
Our sexual lives might get a real boost now, as we tend to want to connect on a deeper level. We might find ourselves strongly attracted to someone, almost to the point of obsession. If this aspect connects with any of your personal planets, you might just meet the “love of your life”.
One thing is for sure — relationships experienced now are bound to be unforgettable. While this transit tends to signal new or strengthened relationships, any relationship that ends during this cycle may leave us feeling liberated. What are you feeling drawn to on a deep instinctual level? What deep desires are surfacing? What values can you no longer compromise on?
Those of us who have their Ascendant (or personal planets) in 22-28 degrees of Taurus, Capricorn or Virgo will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Scorpio (Venus being the ruler of Taurus and Libra, while Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio).
Sunday, March 29th:
Sunday, the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini all day (see Saturday late evening for details).
Sunday late morning, consider connecting with others, socializing, and taking a compassionate approach toward yourself and others, especially when it comes to personal goals and passions. Ask yourself: what if taking a compassionate approach towards myself and others actually made for more fulfilling connections?
Sunday all day, and especially from 4:32pm EDT on, it’s time to take actions on our New Moon intentions: if you set Intentions this week Tuesday, Wednesday, or very early morning Thursday — after the New Moon became exact — today (Sunday) will be the best time to take relevant actions. If you wrote your intentions down, go back and take another look at what came through intuitively. If you didn’t write anything down, get quiet for a moment and check in with yourself: What actions are calling to me?
Sunday at 10:30pm EDT, Mercury exits its post-Shadow phase as it reaches 12º53′ of Pisces. We’re ready to take in new information and move forward with anything that has been “on hold” since the Mercury Retrograde of Feb. 16th – March 9th.
Ask yourself: What in my life is calling out to be resolved? Where am I now able to clearly decide? Where do I still need some more information?
Also, Sunday late evening: we are required to make some adjustments — and may need to do a little stretching and growing when it comes to our inner or emotional understanding of things. As best as you can, be gentle with yourself and others, seek to understand before seeking to be understood.
And…
A heads up for next Monday (March 30th): the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini all day (see Saturday late evening for details). At 11:10am EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for 20.5 hours until 7:43am EDT (Tuesday morning). At 3:43pm EDT, Mars changes signs from Capricorn to Aquarius, where it will journey until May 13th. More about all the details in next week’s forecast 🙂
