Now, this week’s Forecast…
Monday, May 13th:
Monday, the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo, It will journey there until Tuesday afternoon; turning our focus toward the practical and wholesome. We are generous with our time/services and we love to help others. We also have a fondness for science and anything that makes sense in our world — things and knowledge we can apply and use.
Health might come also into focus at this time. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.) align with our long-term goals.
Monday afternoon, a somewhat challenging Sun/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 2:27pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from, Sunday (May 12th) on; it will remain strong until Tuesday (May 14th) . This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, sort of awkward — and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed if we’re to see what needs adjusting.
More profoundly though, we may feel challenged, as we realize that we are being overly enthusiastic with others. That high optimism may also drive us to take on more than we can physically handle. If we do start to feel drained or frustrated, it might be helpful to look at how we use our energy: Are we in tune with our physical body?
It’s also worthwhile to examine how our personal belief systems impact our experience of life… Can we stay open to new philosophies or perspectives on life and what it offers to us? And even perhaps stay open toward our desire for more expansion or personal/spiritual growth?
Neither avoiding conflict, nor digging in our heels will serve us now; as best as you can, slow down and stay tuned in to your physical body — ground yourself like a tree rooting deep into the earth, with branches that bend with the wind 😉
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 20-26 degrees of Taurus or Sagittarius? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Sagittarius (the Sun rules of Leo; Jupiter rules Sagittarius)
Monday evening, seek a balance between head and heart, facts and faith, reason and intuition. That said, if you can achieve that balance, it’s a great day for being of service.
Monday late evening, we are more capable than normal of looking at the details, and focusing on what’s sitting right in front of us that demands to be taken care of, so we can get to the next phase of accomplishment. We are invited to look at all the practical implications; we need to slow down and take our time if we are to manifest something that can stand the test of time — rushing things will most likely backfire right now.
Monday late evening, a harmonious Sun/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 11:07pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Friday (May 10th) on; it will remain strong until this Thursday night/Friday very early morning (May 16th/17th). This aspect brings a sense of focus and empowerment to our long-term goals. We have the ability to look at everything in a very down-to-earth manner right now; through our understanding of “what is and what is not”, we can make more powerful choices.
We can also deepen our understanding of our own motivations and look closely at where we are heading. This aspect also brings an intensity and a depth to our conscious awareness; therefore this is also a great time to transform our lives, stripping away anything — even people — that no longer connect with who we are.
Ask yourself: How can I live more authentically? Is there anything holding me back? What fears and attachments could I release now, that no longer serve my evolution? Am I willing to let them go, just for now, and just as best as I can?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in…

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 20-26 degrees of Taurus, Capricorn or Virgo? If so, you will be even more blessed by this aspect than those who do not; this is also true for those of us with our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Scorpio (the Sun being the ruler of Leo; Pluto rules Scorpio).
Tuesday, May 14th:
Tuesday, the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo until 2:51pm EDT (see Monday for details).
Tuesday late morning, an opportune Venus/Mars aspect becomes exact at 9:58am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from ,last week, Friday (May 10th) on; it will be strong until this Friday (May 17th). This aspect helps intimate or close personal relationships along, bringing passion and sexiness to them — and if we’re not in a long-term committed relationship, we’ll get some help in forming one.
This could also be a good time for financial ventures, social life, artistic pursuits, and pleasure in general. Remember: this is an “opportunity” — those aren’t necessarily handed to us, we have to make them happen.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (MC) or any personal planets in 27-29 degrees of Aries, Gemini, Leo, Aquarius or 0-1 degree of Taurus, Cancer, Virgo or Pisces? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Aries (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Mars is the ruler of Aries)
Tuesday at 1:19pm EDT, we enter a brief Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for 1.5 hours, until 2:51pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to make some adjustments in your life. As best as you can, find creative solutions to seemingly unsolvable situations. Make space both for taking care of your daily routines and for connecting and sharing yourself with others. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow.
Tuesday at 2:51pm EDT, the Moon moves into harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra, where it will journey until Thursday late afternoon. The energy of the Libra Moon helps us be naturally courteous and diplomatic; we are more polite at this time, as we seek the approval of others.
We very much want to maintain equal, fair relationships at this time, and are therefore open to making compromises and negotiating. These next two days are a great time for mediation — but our need for peace and accompanying aversion to direct conflict could pull us to “yes” more easily than we might like.
We may also be able see both sides of the equation so well that we can’t make decisions. As best as you can, find an inner balance with this and communicate what needs to be said with grace and charm — even if it’s “No” 😉 One last quick note: this is also a great time for anything to do with visual arts.
Wednesday, May 15th:
Wednesday, the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra all day (see Tuesday afternoon for details).
Wednesday at 5:46am EDT, Venus moves from fast-paced, enthusiastic, active Aries into steady, sensual Taurus, where she will journey until June 8th. For the next 3.5 weeks, we love receiving physical pleasures and comforts. Our relationships are centered around delicious foods, wine and sensuality.
“Simple and natural” is key. Our financial issues and dealings are being carefully and lovingly considered, we are not easily persuaded to take risks, we’d rather spend our money on a massage or a good meal.
Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra? If so, you will feel even more attracted to physical pleasures and comfort for the next 3.5 weeks. Your heart will want loyalty and consistency. Connecting to nature or anything simple and organic is going to feels especially comforting.
Wednesday late evening, an opportune Mercury/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 9:20pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Tuesday on; it will be strong until Thursday evening. This aspect gives us the opportunity to bring compassion and an intuitive approach to our thinking process.
Having faith and connecting to our Higher Selves will be of service to us at this time. Any artistic or spiritual endeavors are likely to do well at this time. Music might help us with our thinking process and ability to get things done.
Let yourself be inspired! A book, a song, a movie, someone else’s words… allow the Universe to speak to you. Open your mind to a higher vibration — and remember, opportunities are openings… they aren’t necessarily handed to us… we have to “take” them and make something of them.
Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 16-21 degrees of Taurus, Pisces, Capricorn or Cancer? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Pisces (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Neptune rules Pisces).
Wednesday at 11:09pm EDT, Mars changes signs from curious, versatile, information-craving Gemini to protective, emotional, safety-oriented Cancer. It will journey through Cancer until July 1st; for these next six and a half weeks, we need to feel secure before we act. We’re unusually protective of ourselves and our loved ones and so prefer to handle situations peacefully and humanely.
We could thus appear to be going rather slow at times — but with reassurance and confidence, we are more likely to be protective, helpful, and dependable.
Having projects that channel our energy into our home, family, or real-estate will bring the best results. What is a simple action you could you take in one of those areas?
If you have an Aries Sun-sign or Rising-sign, you are going to feel more emotional during this time. You may experience more conflict at home or the need to assert yourself with your loved ones. If you are a Cancer Sun-sign or Rising sign, you will feel quite energized for the next 6.5 weeks. Channeling this energy into physical exercise or a project might be advisable.
Thursday, May 16th:
Thursday, the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra until 5:26pm EDT (see Tuesday afternoon for details).
Thursday at 5:37am EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for almost 12 hours, until 5:26pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to make some adjustments and find creative ways to work with the energies at play: On the one hand, as best as you can, collaborate with others and play nice, on the other hand, be authentic and truthful about what you want to build long-term.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Thursday morning until the late afternoon ahead of time.
Thursday at 5:26pm EDT, the Moon moves into passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, where it will journey until Saturday late evening. We feel things deeply and have “X-Ray Vision” and “Bullshit-Smelling Abilities” 😉
Emotional authenticity is extremely important to us at this time; anything less than 100% emotional honesty could be perceived as flat-out dishonest. Once we feel safe trusting someone, we want to merge with them, preferably forever… as long as our trust is never betrayed.
The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power. This occurs by a process of subtraction — it urges us to let go of whatever disempowers us. It’s therefore an excellent time to look at “old” fears, limiting habits or emotional attachments, especially those stemming from past traumas.
Moon in Scorpio tends to run right over ambiguity — it’s “in or out”, “with us or against us”, “love me or leave me”. It can therefore be stormy — a cold winter storm, or a torrid tropical storm of passion, depending on how we “work” the energies 🙂
Manipulation and paranoia are the lower vibrations of this aspect, so as best you can, be straightforward — act in good faith and assume it in others. Best of all, be truly present to the fluctuations of your feelings — no matter if they’re “polite” or “timely”. Feelings aren’t facts, but they are information — and heeding them will help you embrace all of who you are.
Know thyself — and love thyself — you shall be set free. Remember: Love connects us to the Power within; Fear causes “Force” to show up — and that’s ultimately what disempowers us and others. This Moon placement also starts the build-up towards the Full Moon (exact Saturday late afternoon). Feel free to watch my Full Moon video, if you haven’t seen it yet 😉
Thursday evening, a harmonious Mercury/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 7:09pm EDT. We start to feel this aspect build from Wednesday (May 15th) on, it will remain strong until Saturday (May 18th). It will help to interact with integrity and commitment. We can set aside unrealistic views and make concrete, practical plans, that help us explore our long-term goals.
We “get to the point” with no wasted time or words. Seeking a larger understanding, we speak our truth but temper it with adult caution and moderation. The reality of our beliefs gets clearer and our thought processes are more realistic. It is important for us to learn something new, with a mature attitude.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 17-23 degrees of Taurus, Capricorn, or Virgo? Or perhaps you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Capricorn? If so, you will likely be more blessed by this aspect.
Friday, May 17th:
Friday, the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio all day (see Thursday late afternoon for details).
Thursday night/Friday very early morning, if you are still awake (or live in Europe and are already up and about), today starts out with a need for inner adjustments: we feel uneasy or awkward, and need to make a choice — a choice that demands we develop inner awareness around two very different urges:
On the one hand, we have the urge to go deeper and connect with others; on the other hand, we are more aware of triggers and limitations connected to old childhood wounds. As best as you can, be compassionate and understanding with yourself when feelings of anger come up (and even if shame follows expressions of that anger).
Ask yourself: How might 5% more compassion support my relationship with myself and others today?
Friday early evening, a somewhat challenging Mercury/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 5:49pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Thursday on, it will be strong until Saturday. This aspect also operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward — and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed if we’re to see what needs adjusting.
This aspect is a fork in the road: Do we go after personal comfort and ease? Or expand our perspectives and go beyond the familiar? Awareness is key with this aspect: What demands to be done? What would a broader view show us? How might we use what we then see?
Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 21-23 degrees of Taurus or Sagittarius? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Sagittarius (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Jupiter of Sagittarius).
Friday night/Saturday very early morning, for those of us who are still awake, we are likely to experience a sense of ease and flow, but may need to slow down and allow our feelings to come through. A gentle approach is best. We feel good when coming from the heart and making deeper connections with others. Being open to receiving and going with the flow are key!
Saturday, May 18th:
Saturday, the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio until 9:21pm EDT (see Thursday late afternoon for details).
Saturday very early morning, a harmonious Mercury/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 1:48am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Thursday evening on; it will be strong until Sunday. Our words and our “speaking” are very grounded and realistic. We can feel really empowered by what we say (and how we say it) during this time. Our conviction and passion helps us to connect and empower others. We are strongly connected to our inner truth and can analyze and understand our motivations toward long-term goals. We investigate our own thoughts in a very realistic way and look to see what needs to be done next.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 20-26 degrees of Taurus, Capricorn or Virgo? If so, you will be even more blessed by this aspect than those who do not; this is also true for those of us with our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Scorpio (Mercury rules Gemini and Virgo, Pluto rules Scorpio).
Saturday early afternoon, a Venus/Uranus alignment in almost 4 degrees of Taurus becomes exact at 12:17pm EDT. We start feeling this aspect build from this Wednesday evening on; it will be strong until next week, Monday evening (May 20th). This alignment gives us the opportunity to experiment with a new way of relating to others. Freedom plays a big part in our interactions with others.
It’s a favorable time for social meetings and events. Do something different, something unusual, with one-on-one relationships — break the routine — and as you can imagine, you might experience some unexpected interactions during this time. As best as you can, stay open and flexible: Fresh air is blowing through your relationships, or your bank account….
We are also ready to experiment with regards to financial undertakings; good energetic matches include anything involving electronics, technology, the internet, metaphysics, the arts, and group activities in general. That said, this is not the best time to make long-term financial investments, unless you had an intuitive vision about something 😉
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 1-7 degrees of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo or Aquarius? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Aquarius (Venus being the ruler of Taurus and Libra, while Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius).
Saturday late afternoon, at 5:11pm EDT, the Full Moon in 27.5 degrees of Scorpio becomes exact. The Moon in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio opposes the Sun in steady, peaceful Taurus. The entrance of the Moon into Scorpio on Thursday afternoon, started the energetic build up towards the Full Moon. To learn more about this month’s Full Moon, please click here to watch my video
The last month has been filled with intense cosmic attention, directed towards what’s working (and what isn’t) in our lives at this time; this is related to the Station phases that are activating trauma residues, clearing cellular memories, and giving us an opportunity to restructure our consciousness.
This Full Moon shows us how far we have come, as well as what we must still release or transform, if we are to manifest what was started at the time of the New Moon that occurred on May 4th.
For the next two weeks, we seek the balance and integration of two polarities — and are more aware of something that needs to be brought into alignment. The balance in question is between our physical attachments, aversions, connections — symbolized by Taurus— and our emotional attachment, aversions, connections (Scorpio).
The time of any Full Moon is always more extroverted and emotional; this particular one invites us to let go of fears or disempowering behaviors, and thereby break through to the next level of our evolution.
So, here’s this Full Moon’s central question: Are we living in alignment with our values, with what makes us happy and satisfied? As a society, as people, as individuals… Do we feel empowered and emotionally fulfilled?
All right, let’s look at the signs involved in this polarity, beginning with Taurus… feel free to read the whole Full Moon article and get all the Coaching questions here
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 25-29 degrees of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, or Aquarius? If so, you are more affected by this month’s Full Moon. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
Right after the Full Moon becomes exact, at 5:11pm EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for a little over 4 hours, until 9:21pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to balance living according to what makes you happy, against exploring the emotional depths of human nature, and the complexities of intimate partnerships.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Saturday late afternoon until the late evening ahead of time.
Saturday at 9:21pm EDT, the Moon moves into optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, where it will journey until next week, Tuesday very early morning. We’re strongly motivated to explore and learn. We’re not likely to be big fans of routine — diversity and new adventures work best at this time — we’re also physically restless and need to burn that off with activity and physical exercise.
We tend to feel more open, optimistic and inspired — but we also have a high degree of independence — and taking these two influences together, this means we’d rather inspire others to do things our way, as opposed to issuing or obeying orders. Inspiring others could come easier than normal, as we can see the bigger picture, leaving us confident that others will agree with us, once they see what we see.
As best as you can, speak your truth without assuming that everyone is on the same page as you. Improvisation works well for us at this time, as we are spontaneous and love living on the edge — just watch out you aren’t overdoing or overstating things.
Sunday, May 19th:
Sunday, the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day (see Saturday late evening for details).
Sunday early morning, we experience a need for inner adjustments. We feel uneasy or awkward and need to make a choice. Making this choice demands we develop inner awareness around two very different urges: on the one hand, the desire to mentally explore and go beyond what we already know — and on the other hand, the need for breakthroughs or change connected to the physical plane. We need to ask ourselves here: What might become possible if I got 5% more comfortable with being uncomfortable? Or 5% more comfortable embracing uncertainty?
Sunday morning, we are still experiencing a need for inner adjustments. We still feel uneasy or awkward and need to make a choice. Making this choice demands we develop inner awareness around two very different urges: on the one hand, a need for mental and spiritual adventure and exploration, and on the other hand, our love for beauty, comfort, and the delight of our senses.
Also Sunday morning, we might find ourselves wanting to explore a new healing modality for body, mind, and heart, aimed at a renewing our enthusiasm for life. We are capable of being compassionate and forgiving with ourselves at this time — and a gentle and holistic approach is best.
And…
A heads up for next Monday (May 20th): the Moon remains optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day (see Saturday late evening details). In the morning, the Moon in Sagittarius squares Neptune in Pisces, exact at 6:32am EDT. And, in the afternoon, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for almost 15 hours, until 3:56am EDT (Tuesday early morning). More about the details in next week’s forecast 🙂
