Now, this week’s Forecast…
Monday, October 7th:
Monday, the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius all day; it will journey there until Wednesday early afternoon. The energy of the Aquarian Moon relates to our instinct for improvement. Reactions are more intellectual than emotional; interactions more impersonal than personal. We are likely to have an increased fascination with the new and unusual.
Social gatherings, anything connected with group ideals and goals for the future, brainstorming, new ideas and methods, progress: all these are promoted during the time the Moon moves through Aquarius. Again: we have our eyes on the future — or on outer space 🙂 Personal freedom becomes paramount.
Monday very early morning, a Mercury/Uranus opposition becomes exact at 2:17am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Friday night (Oct. 4th) on, it will remain strong until this Wednesday. We are better off thinking outside the box for those four days. We want to change a life situation (or intimate relationship) that is out of alignment with who we now want to be.
Our minds may feel overwhelmed by what all this means, especially as it relates to our intimate relationships or financial partnerships. Stay calm, as best as you can: Sudden or rash decisions might backfire. Do your best to ground all your thinking, connect to your body, and allow yourself to fully receive any new insights.
We are very likely to feel quite nervous or anxious at this time, as we become aware of what’s not working for us anymore — and the itch to move forward and realize a new vision feels very strong. It may well be true that something needs to change — but we must take care not to rush into anything.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 2-9 degrees of Scorpio, Taurus, Aquarius, or Leo? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Aquarius (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius).
Monday late morning, we may feel pulled in two quite different directions: On the one hand, we experience a need for connecting with like-minded people and remaining objective; on the other hand, we want to make space for pursuing our financial vision — and we also want to break free from outdated value systems.
As such, we may have to address what we value in both in others, and in ourselves (which informs our self-worth); as best as you can, make adjustments and find creative solutions when it comes to these energies.
Also, Monday late morning, we may feel pulled in two quite different directions: On the one hand, we experience a need for connecting with like-minded people and remaining objective; on the other hand, we want to go deeper, and communicate from a place of passion and empowerment.
We may thus have to address our fears and “issues”; as best as you can, make adjustments and find creative solutions when it comes to these energies.
Monday afternoon, a challenging Sun/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 3:07pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Friday (Oct. 4th) on, it will remain strong until this Thursday evening. We’re asked to stretch and grow beyond what we have previously known ourselves to be; our commitments and responsibilities towards others are calling us to get out of our comfort zone.
Find creative ways to honor both your various one-on-one relationships, and your desire to focus on your long-term goals; allow for a balanced approach even if life puts up roadblocks or throws some curveballs.
What if you simply knew that you could handle whatever shows up? Would you rather have old structures in place, or a more collaborative approach to achieving things? Would you rather achieve status or harmonious relationships? What if you just decided to bring maturity and self-responsibility to the table when dealing with others, no matter what?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in….

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 11-17 degrees of Libra, Capricorn, Aries, or Cancer? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Capricorn (the Sun rules Leo; Saturn rules Capricorn)
Tuesday, Oct. 8th:
Tuesday, the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius all day (see Monday morning for details).
Tuesday early afternoon, at 1:06pm EDT, Venus moves from relationship-oriented, harmony-seeking Libra into passionate, intense, all-or-nothing Scorpio. She will journey there until Nov. 1st. Until then, our relationships will get a lot of attention. We have a unique intensity, coupled with a willingness to commit; our actions in love tend to promise deep commitment and sexual pleasure, even if we are not talking about this directly.
Venus in Scorpio seems fearless when it comes to intimacy. We are intensely loyal at this time, and will expect the same from our partner; mistrust is the biggest obstacle to forming a relationship. We feel a need to cut through the fluff and can see others exactly for who they are — it’s like having X-ray vision of the heart. As best as you can, honor this by being straight with others — especially if it’s someone you have (or want to have) a romantic relationship with.
With regards to finances, we are more likely to put our money into things we feel really passionate about. Investments in transformational programs are recommended, as are partnerships in general.
Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra? If so, you will feel more passionate and deeply loyal for the next 3.5 weeks; your heart will want to go deeper and connect intimately with others. If you are a Scorpio Sun-sign or Rising-sign, for as long as Venus is in your sign, you will attract more love, abundance and beauty into your life.
Tuesday at 2:27pm EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for a little over 21.5 hours until 12:05pm EDT (Wednesday early afternoon). Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to connect with others and explore, actively, the things that can bring you progress. Ask yourself: Am I open to explore something different? Am I open to seeing something that I haven’t looked at before? Am I open to new adventures?
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Tuesday afternoon until Wednesday early afternoon ahead of time.
Tuesday evening, a Mars/Chiron opposition becomes exact at 8:33pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last week, Friday evening (Oct. 4th) on; it will remain strong until this Saturday evening. We might feel irritated when faced with other people’s plans — but also insecure about our own direction.
We may find ourselves caught between two forces within: on the one hand, there’s wanting to connect and collaborate with others to move forward on things we are passionate about; on the other, there’s looking for a way to be kind and compassionate with ourselves, in the event we need to do some healing around our physical body or personal goals. This aspect calls us to find a balance between those two forces.
Oppositions can be acted out within relationships; given this, we may get triggered by others and become defensive or touchy. Resentments or frustrations can surface now — and someone may be poking at our wounds or pointing out our shortcomings — bringing up our insecurities or secret shame. This may cause us to spin into anger, impatience, or frustration that is connected not only to what is happening at that moment but also to our past — especially our childhood.
If this happens, as best as you can, locate the original pain or wound — and bring compassion, love, understanding and forgiveness to yourself (and towards your younger Self). Healing can only take place if we are willing to embrace our “flaws” and love our most vulnerable places.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 0-6 degrees of Libra, Aries,Cancer, or Capricorn? If so, you will be more affected by this opposition. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries (Mars is the ruler of Aries)
Wednesday, Oct. 9th:
Wednesday, the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius and VoC until 12:05pm EDT; at that time, the Moon moves into creative, sensitive Pisces, where it will journey until Friday night/Saturday very early morning. This Moon placement often finds us more sensitive, intuitive, idealistic and imaginative than normal. We also have a greater capacity for compassion, sympathy and affection for all — but especially for those who suffer or can be regarded as the underdog.
But… that very idealism could also be our downfall at this time: We tend to see the best in everyone and everything, and when reality doesn’t match our idyllic vision, we might feel upset and even victimized by those harsh realities. A way out of this is to channel our idealism into spiritual or creative endeavors.
It’s also a great time for releasing fears — especially the ones based on a sense of separation — and experiencing “oneness”. Feelings tend to flow more freely; as best as you can, let them — in fact, “going with the flow” is the best way to go for the next couple of days.
Wednesday afternoon, has a nice feeling of ease and an ability to trust and connect deeply with others. As best as you can, trust your intuitive sensing right now, allow whatever comes up to be beneficial for you.
Wednesday late evening, we get an opportunity to be very present, to connect with others and share a new vision about the Earth, or to reinvent how we connect with “the good things in life”. As best as you can, bring a sense of flow and faith to who you are being; allow yourself to intuitively share some progressive, new ideas about what is important to you, and things that could make yours and other people’s life easier on a very practical level.
Wednesday late evening, a somewhat challenging Sun/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 11:24pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Tuesday night on, it will remain strong until Thursday evening. This aspect feels “internal” — inner unease and awkwardness — and we need to make a choice. Given that it is an internal issue, we need to develop an inner awareness, if we’re to see what needs adjusting.
Our energy tends to be unrealistically directed — and our sense of self may actually change as we learn that we have wrongly assessed important situations. Our self-trust could take a hit at this time.
Due to our high ideals, we may take on more than we can physically handle — if we start to feel drained or frustrated, it might be helpful to look at the overall direction we are taking. Do your best to rest and have some quiet time along with your interactions with others.
It is also worthwhile to look for how our ideas are being received by others: Can we involve them in creating/realizing our dreams? Perhaps we are not sure whether we want to keep dreaming our dream privately or share it with others… As best as you can, slow down: where there is spaciousness, there is flow; where there is flow, there is effortless creation.
Do you have your Career Point (or personal planets) in degrees of 15-17 Libra or Pisces? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Pisces (the Sun rules of Leo; Neptune rules Pisces).
Thursday, Oct. 10th:
Thursday, the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day (see Wednesday early afternoon for details).
Thursday morning: we are invited to share about deep emotional issues and support each other in a loving and compassionate way. As best as you can, allow for feelings to flow, and release anything that feels “old” or “toxic”.
Thursday late afternoon, we get an opportunity to be wholly present — and also to focus on practicalities and long-term plans. As best as you can, bring a sense of flow and faith to your business dealings.
Thursday evening, we feel more sensitive and need to slow down a little. This is a great time for spiritual or creative endeavors. Energy work, or anything that requires our intuitive side, will work best for the next several hours.
Thursday late evening, a somewhat challenging Venus/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 11:31pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Wednesday night on, it will remain strong until Friday evening. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We may feel uneasy or insecure in our relationships — and be faced with a choice — we must develop an inner awareness if we are to see what needs adjusting.
As you can imagine, this could make social interactions somewhat awkward; as best as you can, connect with kindness towards all (including yourself 🙂
We may also have a hard time making financial decisions that feel satisfactory. As best as you can, bring a good dose of compassion and understanding to yourself and embrace your own humanity as much as possible… and remember: like everything else, this is only temporary 😉
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 2-4 degrees of Scorpio or Aries,? Or perhaps your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra)? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect.
Friday, Oct. 11th:
Friday, the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day (see Wednesday early afternoon for details).
Friday early morning, we feel a need to go within and slow down — and at the same time, we also want to move fast and have new experiences. This tension clearly invites us to stretch a little, and to seek resolution via creative solutions — the key here is to listen to our intuition, so we don’t drive ourselves or others crazy.
Friday at 5:55am EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for almost 19 hours until 12:46am EDT (Friday night/Saturday very early morning). Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to connect to your higher Self, and if possible, bring a sense of flow and faith to your long-term plans — especially those you feel really passionate about.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Friday all day until after midnight ahead of time.
Friday evening, around 6:30pm EDT, Mercury enters its pre-Shadow phase when it reaches 11.5 degrees of Scorpio; this is 3 weeks prior to its Retrograde phase (which starts on Oct. 31st).
What is the Shadow phase? The period immediately before and after a planet’s retrograde phase is referred to as the “shadow phase”; at these times, the planet travels once more through the degrees of a sign that it had already passed through before and during its Retrograde phase. Mercury is usually in its shadow for about three weeks prior to a retrograde, and for almost four weeks after.
We will talk in more detail about Mercury’s Shadow, Station, and Retrograde phases in our next Forum on Oct. 17th. Feel free to join us live or register for the mp4-video presentation! To join for FREE every month, become a Star or SuperStar Member.

Friday night/Saturday very early morning, at 12:46am EDT, the Moon moves into pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey until next week, Monday early afternoon (Oct. 14th). Life is an adventure, we’re more open to new ideas, and have great enthusiasm for new projects. Patience is certainly not our strong suit at this time, but we can decide quickly, and act immediately.
Our independence and dynamism are important to us right now, so we may find it hard to be disciplined or accept advice at this time; in general, our responses to others tend to be more assertive or even aggressive. If you find your foot tapping, try hitting the gym, or finding other ways to burn off the body’s excess energy. This Moon placement starts the build up towards the Full Moon (exact Sunday afternoon).
Saturday, Oct. 12th:
Saturday, the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day (see Friday night/Saturday very early morning for details).
Saturday early morning, a somewhat challenging Mars/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 4:00am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Thursday evening on; it will remain strong until Sunday evening. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward — and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed in order to see what needs adjusting — this aspect calls for flexibility.
We experience an internal stress between our masculine energies (assertiveness/ aggression) and our need to express our unique spark (and the desire to make a difference).
We are being asked to go within and look at our personal goals and desires — and reach a new perspective on how we go about achieving them. Are we driven by personal resistance and rebellion, or motivated to positively impact humanity?
Once we get clear about our deepest motivations, we will discover new ways to move forward and embrace our unique talents and values in a healthy way, while demonstrating our strength and power more authentically, from a place of love and abundance, rather than fear and limitation.
How might you get in touch with your inner genius? What might a deep, passionate connection to your vision of a future self look like? What might be possible if you could get 5% more comfortable with being uncomfortable?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 4-6 degrees of Libra or Taurus? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Aquarius (Mars is the ruler of Aries; Uranus rules Aquarius ).
Saturday morning, has lots of potential for healing around family, the “mother archetype”, home, and our past in general. We may feel more sensitive and insecure about what we identity with, and around our ability to be assertive; this gives us the opportunity to give ourselves some compassion, acceptance and nurturing in the face of our sensitivities and limitations.
Saturday late morning, we are invited to make some inner adjustments. We feel uneasy or awkward and need to make a choice, one that demands we develop inner awareness around two very different urges: on the one hand, the desire to connect intimately with others and go to a deeper level — and on the other hand, the need to take care of ourselves and remain independent.
Saturday early evening, a Venus/Uranus opposition becomes exact at 6:07pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from this Thursday evening on, it will remain strong until next week, Monday (Oct. 14th). This opposition calls us to balance “togetherness” with “having our space”.
We may find that we disagree with others. We may be restless, even anxious, and therefore feel pressure to act (and react) impulsively towards others — or towards our finances. Try your best not to put all your money on a horse, just because it has a funny name, or elope with a random hottie 😉
We could also be caught off-guard somehow, so stay open-minded and flexible. Do not get a facelift or any kind of beauty treatment that has the potential to go horribly wrong. I’m not kidding.
If there were a way to fully express our individuality in our relationships, without needing to pull or push away… what might that way be? Could you shake things up a little, without being oppositional or offensive?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career point (or any personal planets) in 2-8 degrees of Scorpio, Taurus, Leo, or Aquarius? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Aquarius (Venus being the ruler of Taurus and Libra, while Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius)
Sunday, Oct. 13th:
Sunday, the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day (see Friday night/Saturday very early morning for details).
Sunday afternoon, an opportune Sun/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 2:02pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Wednesday (Oct. 9th) on; it will remain strong until next week, Wednesday (Oct. 16th). We might want to take advantage of the opportunities this aspect provides — it’s an excellent time for creating win-win situations, resolving conflicts with others, creating new alliances, having adventures and boosting our self-confidence. In fact, we may well feel particularly vital and confident — and inner optimism can bring rewards.
Humor can be a big part of this aspect too: We are able to laugh whole-heartedly, and see nothing but possibility in our lives, especially when it comes to exploring our life philosophies, belief systems and any journeys we are undertaking. Whether these journeys are physical, mental, or spiritual, they could bring about a healthy shift of attitude toward our one-on-one relationships — whether personal or business.
Imagine you have a special lens which showed you the “bigger picture”… What would your beliefs look like when you gazed through it?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 17-23 degrees of Libra, Sagittarius, Gemini, or Leo ? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Sagittarius (the Sun rules Leo; Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius).
Sunday late afternoon, at 5:08pm EDT, the Sun opposes the Moon in 20 degrees of Aries (the entrance of the Moon into Aries Friday night/Saturday very early morning started the energetic build up towards the Full Moon) — the Moon in pioneering, fast-paced Aries makes an opposition to the Sun in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra.
Generally, a Full Moon brings our attention to our “emotional body”, increasing our awareness of what has been suppressed or ignored. This is especially true for this particular Full Moon — for much of this month, we are invited to direct our attention toward deeper self-care and more authentic connections to our emotional bodies. Feel free to also watch my video on the subject.
The Aries/Libra polarity directs our awareness to the roles we identify with in our various one-on-one relationships — and this Full Moon is thus a call to take action on those roles. In particular, it brings the focus to “independence”, so ask yourself: Where do I need to be more assertive? More accommodating? Where have I been too independent? Too dependent? What roles or contracts need to be revisited?
This also involves the balance of feminine and masculine energies within ourselves, our relationships, and our world. Ask: Where have these energies gone out of balance? What happens when there is too much masculine? Too much feminine?
On the day of the Full Moon, the Sun in Libra… To read the whole article and get all the Coaching Questions for this month’s Full Moon, click here.
This is especially true for those of us with personal planets or points in 18-22 degrees of Aries, Libra, Capricorn or Cancer (the personal planets are the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars; personal points are the Ascendent or MC).
Sunday at 5:59pm EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for almost 18.5 hours until 12:24pm EDT (Monday early afternoon). Use this intuitive time to make some adjustments and find creative ways to work with the energies at play: On the one hand, as best as you can, follow your inner compass and take care of your own needs; on the other hand, deepen your authentic connection to whatever you are building long-term.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Sunday early evening until Monday early afternoon ahead of time.
And…
A heads up for next Monday (October 14th): the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries and VoC until 12:24pm EDT (see Oct.11th and Oct. 13th for details). In the very early morning, an opportune Mercury/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 2:56am EDT; we started to feel this aspect build from Oct. 11th on, it will remain strong until Oct. 16th. Also, in the very early morning, a challenging Sun/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 3:38am EDT; we started to feel this aspect build from Oct. 10th on, it will remain strong until Oct. 17th. And, at 12:24pm EDT, the Moon moves into steady, peaceful Taurus, where it will journey until Wednesday late evening. More about all the details in next week’s forecast 🙂
